So let me say two things.

One — everybody feels this.

This is a very common feeling to have. Like fever and cold. Don’t ever think people who get things done don’t feel any of this.

Take me. To you guys I’m the most productive person, but there are days I don’t post for a straight week. Days I skip washing my hair, and then on wash day I see severe hairfall. Days I skip meals and sleep till 12.

My only goal is to process whatever I’m feeling and still get out and do the thing — instead of waiting to look perfect.

So what to do instead.

1. Know your threshold. Understand how much you can take. For me, I can’t work straight for even 2 hours. So in that case I don’t push myself all at once. First I’ll do 2 hours, then 2 hours 15 minutes. I’m the one who should set that.

2. Figure out what works for you, and do that well. For example, I can’t talk in meetings and I don’t spontaneously react to ideas. So I take notes and share them later. I have time to process, and that’s how my brain works. So I do that.

3. Set your own milestone. Lose 2 kg in a month. That’s my goal. In practice I could lose 3 kg. But I set my own goals. I usually don’t go with anything that’s popular or well known, because it was made for some specific situation. I choose my goals and work towards increasing slowly. That’s much better in the long term than burning out in the middle.

Two — what do you think consistency even is?

Is it doing the same thing every single day? Look at the image below. That’s exactly what consistency is.

What consistency is not.

1. Doing the same thing again and again without liking it.

2. Not being able to figure out if you’re seeing progress.

3. Doing it because of pressure from somebody.

These over time complicate your own life.

Instead of overcomplicating it, just understand what you like and how you like doing things.

Improvise on that and you will really see a big change in your life.

1. Happily going through the 75 day challenge — today I’m on day 33. Lost 3 kg. My old kurta is fitting me, which is the best part.

On August 2, I overcame one of my biggest fears and hit one of the most ambitious goals on my vision board. Teaching to a live audience.

The day before, I had a cold protein shake that triggered my throat infection, and with that plus the anxiety, I barely slept before my big day.

The morning of the workshop, my brother and my close friend kept motivating me, and I was just sitting there like a doll. I didn’t want to get over-confident.

These 9 people (one opted out at the last minute due to a medical emergency, and I made a full refund, which was another lesson) trusted me after seeing me in my videos, paid, and opted in for this workshop.

And here’s the thing. It wasn’t just my first time conducting it. It was their first time attending a workshop like this. So double the pressure, because I wanted to make sure it was a good experience for them.

People started coming around 10 am, and just as I expected, I became calm. I spoke with everyone. I knew their names but not their faces, so it was exciting to hear each name and register the face in those first few minutes.

As the workshop began, they became people I was familiar with.

I always had this question. Why would someone follow me? And while speaking to them through the session, I understood.

They all want to improve themselves. That’s the core connection we have.

Everything I’m doing right now, I started for this one thing. To improve myself. And that’s their goal too.

We spoke so much, wrote so much, and at the end, I even gave them their goodie.

Best of all, after the session, everyone agreed on two things.

I should conduct this more often. And it was worth the money.

The two things I was dying to hear. And it happened.

I always believe in one thing. You want it, you try, things happen. It should happen and it will happen.

Just put in that effort.

Do it while overthinking, do it while doubting, but do it.

Eventually the doubt will go away, and you’ll start believing in yourself more.

One is anything that gives me comfort. The other is anything that gives me peace.

Comfort is clothes and food. Peace is plants and experiences.

This week was one such week and I got soooo many things. Listing it all below with prices.

First buy

Me being me — I try to get plants more often because I genuinely feel growing plants helps me improve my patience. Every time I see a new leaf, I get a new plant. And that new leaf teaches me that the care and effort I show for the plant is coming out as a new leaf. (one is dying slowly)

Okay, currently I’m getting my plants near Besant Nagar beach. Since I can propagate and grow more plants, I don’t spend more than ₹50 on a plant. I did steal one money plant for propagation from the road, but I’m scared to do it often. Case la maatipan 😂.

Next buy

This was my long-term dream. See, I’m 5 ft — wearing anything loose and long will make me look like kutty saathan, but who cares. I bought a kaftan. I bought only one and I loved how it was so comfy. In fact, I slept much better wearing this than my night suit. Nejama dha solra.

Then I went ahead and got two more kaftans. Now all day, every day, I’m wearing kaftan and roaming in my terrace exactly like kutty saathan. I got all of them from DMart and each was ₹499. I think I took the last two pieces they had, but I find it’s affordable there compared to any other place.

Third buy

I actually went to DMart to get things for my workshop and I’m giving two return gifts now instead of one because I want to give more for whatever they’re coming for (6 seats booked, yeahhhh, and only 4 seats left). A few things I ordered online and they are on the way.

So this is it for this week.

I genuinely enjoy writing updates 🥹 here because I don’t have to worry about followers or views. This feels like I’m talking to people directly.

Here is my secret

People think I’m extroverted. I talk a lot, so it looks that way. Truth is, I’m actually scared to talk to people. That’s why my voiceover videos and my on-camera videos feel so different, if you’ve noticed.

One of my goals on my vision board was to conduct some kind of interactive activity. I almost forgot about it until I noticed that corner in my vision board.

Online felt like the easy way out and I didn’t want easy this time.

Then it just clicked while I was working on my laptop — why not a workshop? I’ve been to a lot of workshops, and they’re fun in that specific way where you become like a kid again. So I planned one. More on that at the end.

How my last week went

Health check

Took a blood test this week, told you about it last week too. Hemoglobin is 11.7, a little low. So I’ve started drinking amla juice, pomegranate too. Iron is also low, so I’ve started tablets.

Website update

The Daily Finish planner is fully stocked out. Another has limited stock and I’m running ads on it.

This running ads thing takes me back to my intern times. Seeing the clicks get converted is still fun. But I’ve lost touch, so I’m experimenting way too much there.

A small win

99% of my clothes are from DMart. Places like Lifestyle, Pantaloons, Westside always felt like they were for someone else — like only rich people shop there, not me. So I never really went in.

But this time I walked into Lifestyle at Phoenix Mall, just casually. Saw a T-shirt for ₹900, 50% off. Got it for ₹400. Even though it was on sale, the fact that I bought it from there at all felt like a win for me — because I never buy from these places, and this time I did.

Why would you want to watch me build my life?

Honestly, because I rant a lot. And I have a very stubborn wish to figure things out in life.

I started my Instagram to show my journey of building the life I want — and also to commit to it out loud. You can see it in my bio too.

Why a newsletter and not more videos?

Videos have their limits. Shooting, editing, voiceovers — most days it’s just exhausting. Writing feels easy to me. So this is where I’ll show up.

You can read it for free. I’ll share what I did, lessons I learned, money I spent, what I bought, collabs I did, work-life struggles, learnings — basically everything.

What happened this week

1. Five videos on Instagram, none did well. After a long, long time I posted 5 videos on my personal page and none of them landed. So I’m resetting — not posting anything for 48 hours on the personal page and seeing what that does.

2. Six videos on the business page, all did pretty good. Different audience, different result. Same week. Interesting to sit with. for 12k followers this is very decent.

3. Sold 10 planners and 8 journals. People are actually buying — still feels surreal. Link is below if you want one. - Buy here

6. Took a blood test to check my hemoglobin. Results aren’t in yet. Might share in next week’s newsletter.

7. Started a calorie deficit and hit 10K steps 3 times this week. Not perfect, but a start.
