We were both traveling through Switzerland and knew we wanted to stay in Mürren, so we decided to proactively pitch properties we wanted to stay at.

Here’s exactly what we did:

Step 1: Research the area you want to stay in

We created a list of about 20 hotels in the area.

Step 2: Find the hotels direct emails

We found the direct contact information for each hotel rather than relying on Instagram DMs or generic contact forms.

Step 3: Send a pitch
