Perhaps some of you feel this shift also. There isn’t even a close second.

In the beginning of the year someone sent me a writing about the year of the Fire Horse. I don’t live and organize my life around astrology, but I pay attention when something has meaning for me. The Horse represents movement, independence, vitality, and freedom. Add fire and that symbol becomes even more intense. Add passion, expression, courage, things buried deep within being brought into the light.

Movement before certainty, clarity through action…..

Clarity through action.

If i was to describe this year in three words, those might just be it. I have moved, God I have moved. This year feels like lifetimes lived.

This year began with a divorce. Even writing that sentence feels strange because the man who entered this year feels so far away from the man writing these words tonight. I went though grief, i went through confusion. There were nights I didn’t understand how my life had arrived where it had. But you know what, through it all, there was a remembering of who I am.

Not a husband, not real estate investor, not a teacher, not the person anyone needed me to be, but the sovereign me.

Losing so much of what I thought defined my life, my relationship with God became deeper than I have ever known. Those who know me know how significant that statement is. I have been a man of faith for a long time…

For almost ten years, i have intimately studied and taught A Course in Miracles. Of all the spiritual teachings I have encountered, it has been the path that most profoundly shaped the way I understand forgiveness, fear, love, relationships, God, and myself. It has helped me understand other spiritual paths more deeply too. There has been so many moments where I seriously don’t know how I could have survived without God.

The questions i asked myself is not simply “If i believe in God” but “do i trust God enough to actually live like I believe?”

Peru

I don’t remember another year when I have been this present to my own life. I grieved, I let others hold me, i laughed, i cried, i traveled, I opened my heart to Love again. I felt parts of myself come alive that I didn’t realized had gone to sleep. And somehow I ended up living on the other side of the world in Peru.

Theres something about this land. I feel held here, I feel the mountains, I feel the earth. There is something deeply feminine also about this place. Like a mother’s love. Maybe after so much movement in my life, I just needed to remember what it feels like to be held.

The Fire Horse symbolism that really spoke the most to me is the idea that sometimes clarity doesn’t arrive before we take action. Sometimes we have to move first and then life reveals the next step. This is exactly whats happening to me….

Sacred Wealth

I created Sacred Wealth around an idea I deeply believe in. That each of us carries something we are here to give. Something that life has been preparing us to offer. And that we can take that deepest work and turn it into community, impact, and income.

I wanted to help people stop chasing businesses they don’t really care about and begin cultivating the work that is actually theirs.

To listen to their heart, trust what keeps calling, and build around the gift God placed inside.

I’ve written essays about this, I’ve taught it, build an entire creator circle program around it…..

AND I’m beginning to feel like I’ve been talking to myself.

What I Have Been Afraid to Admit

For years I joked about going all in on A Course in Miracles but i didn’t really believe that this could sustain me. I didn’t trust that the deepest spiritual work of my life can also become my life’s work. I didn’t trust that I could actually build my life around teaching what I love most.

Inside me theres always been a separation. Business here. God over there. Make money here. Follow my calling there. I’ve been able to see the contradictions and I have been teaching people to build Sacred Wealth while still withholding my deepest gift.

Life is comical this way. We teach the lesson over and over again util one day we realized that that lesson was actually for me.

So This is the Seed

I am writing late at night once again as most of my Letters from the Fire seems to come in this way.

I want to plant a seed. Just a seed. I tend to have a pattern of “Lets Go” lets change everything and build it tonight. But no no. part of this emergence is also learning that things worth building doesn’t always require urgency.

Some things deserve roots so tonight I’m simply planting this : I AM GOING ALL IN ON A COURSE IN MIRACLES.

Im not sure what everything will look like but I know where I am being called. My deepest work is bringing people closer to God. It always has been.

The Course has taught me for ten years and its time that I stop treating it like one part of my life.

Trust

Recently, I rushed something and I believe that in rushing I may have missed something extraordinarily beautiful. This realization has brought me tremendous sadness and parts of me wants to go backwards. To try and fix but every time after I pray I am brought back to the same place.

God. Trust.

Trusting that what is truly mine cannot be lost. That I don’t have to force life into the shape I think it should take.

Trust that LOVE is never wasted.

The Emergence

This is not the story of who I became, this is a an emergence of the me that only knows the direction of my heart.

I want my life to indistinguishable from what I teach.

I want the way I love to be the teaching, the way I forgive to be the teaching, the way I handle loss, the way I build businesses, the way I treat strangers, the way I surrender.

I am writing this tonight with you as my witness. To honor who is emerging.

The seed is planted. I will give it time, I will give it light, give it water, and most of all….

I am going to Trust.

Lets see what God grows.

- Alex Love Li

<p class="button-wrapper" You have spent a lifetime becoming who you are already. Challenges and struggles, the lessons, questions you have seek the answers for. Things that people naturally come to you for.

None of this is wasted. Your life is your curriculum and your gift lies in it. Its the work you are here to share with the world. This belief is the at the heart of Sacred Wealth.

What is Sacred Wealth?

I’ve spent a lot of time contemplating wealth. It’s not only money. I have had a lot of money and have lost a lot of money and then made it back. I’ve also met people with tremendous financial success who don’t seem to be particularly wealthy to me. You can probably think of someone right now. I have also met people who have very little who seemed incredibly wealthy in the way they lived their lives, the way they loved people, their generosity and the way they served.

What does it mean to build a life of an abundance while being aligned with who we are?

that is the question when i talk about Sacred Wealth.

money matters and I want people in this community to make money, I want you to be compensated well for the value you bring to the world. We do not have to choose between doing something meaningful and money. ‘

You probably already have something in mind to build from

People I meet mostly already know they want to create something. Be it a business, A book, a coaching program, a retreat center, a community of likeminded people, a humanitarian cause….

The problem is that there is too much information and too many vehicles. Podcast, instagram, substack, a course, what should i post? what is my niche? and now with AI giving us a thousand things we could be doing. It’s really overwhelming and can put us in a state of paralysis.

Often we are looking too far down the path. Before funnels, websites, content, AI tools.. all the things.

We have to start with clarity of what is inside burning worth sharing. Business will come after that clarity. The process im teaching inside Sacred Wealth is very simple.

Sacred Wealth process

First - we uncover your message. What you have lived, learned, studied, overcome, and what is really want to be shared.

second - We find your person. Who can benefit from what you know.

third - identify the problem. Not every problem but one problem you could genuinely help solve.

Fourth - We build an offer. a CLEAR invitation to help someone move from where they are to where they can be.

Fifth - We publish. We publish on every platform that we know can potentially reach your person. And we publish with purpose.

Consistently publish in this way, people begin to find us, share about us to others, trust happens. Some just follow and subscribe, some become customers, some become friends, and some become people you can collaborate with. Then a community is built.

THAT IS THE CREATOR BUSINESS I WANT TO HELP YOU BUILD.

You dont need millions of followers

This is another belief core to Sacred Wealth. - quality over quantity. I would much rather have 1000 people who genuinely care about my work than 100,000 people who watched a video for six seconds.

Part of the reason I believe so much in writing and publishing is that everything slows down. It builds quality relationships. This isnt just another content machine.

What you will find here

Some of what I write will be practical things. Ill share about what I am learning about building a creator business. Substack, offers, funnels, AI, marketing, community, and systems that help our work reach more people.

Some of it will be deeply personal. l write about love, relationships, money, spirituality, purpose, generosity, and just whatever life happens to be teaching me. They may first seem unrelated but I dont believe they are.

When you life becomes your content, youll have infinite about of things to share. Sacred Wealth isnt just about creating a business, its about creating a meaningful life and allowing the business to become one expression of that life.

Where to begin

IF you are new here, dont try to consume everything. Start simply with : What have i lived or learned that can genuinely help another human being?

write that down and then ask : who needs this?

thats all and from there I will help you work through the rest.

message - person - problem - offer - publishing - audience - funnel - income

You dont need to have it figured out. Recognize your value and then begin to lean on me.

A Final Thought

I dont 100% know what Sacred Wealth will become, Its happening in live time. Im experimenting, learning, teaching what works and what doesnt work. Im inviting people who feel called to this same kind of work to build alongside me.

I believe people are too many people walking around with unfinished books, businesses that hasnt started, wisdom unshared, communities not gathered all because they feel like they arent ready yet

Life is your curriculum, lets build something with it.

Yours Truly

Alex Love Li

If this resonates, subscribe to Sacred Wealth. I am documenting what I’m learning about turning life’s work into content, community, impact, and income - and helping others build alongside me.

Letters from the Fire : The Depth of a Man

The greatest gift we can offer

Alex Love Li

“Create in me the kind of heart that another human being can truly rest next to”

Most of these articles are written at night. Something that keeps me up and just needs to come out. It is written from what on my heart and usually after 2 am. I hope I can articulate it from a place of accountability. Whats on my mind tonight is the dynamic of the masculine and the feminine.

For as long as I remember, I have always been interested in this topic. If there is a path for me to become a better man, I want to walk it. I want to begin with a prayer for myself.

Dear God,

If love came into my life to awaken me, please dont let me go back to sleep. Let it become the way I live. Where I still defend, teach me to stay open. Where I rush to understand, teach me to understand. If there are places in my heart love cannot freely flow, show them to me so it can heal me. Create in me the kind of heart that another human being can truly rest next to. Help me keep my heart open and let this love flow through my life. Into my family, my friends, my work, and even strangers. Show me where I may serve and may I remember it has always been your work in me.

Amen

The greatest gift that a man can offer is the depth of his consciousness. How willing he is to look into his own heart for where love is not flowing freely. Where he still feels the need to defend a past hurt. It’s the willingness to notice our reaction before it becomes our response. It to stay present when every part wants to defend. to keep our hearts open when closing feels easier. As a man, our culture teaches us to impress, to show strength, and to be successful. We carry a weight that we often feel we alone carry. We aren’t taught to be vulnerable. To be safe.

By no means am I saying that I have it all figured out. I’ve always heard the phrases of..

“Be safe space”

“Be masculine”

“Be the rock”

And heck i have even taught these things to others. But recently I heard I phrase that really melted my heart and it feels like there is a new depth to my understanding.

It goes like this….

“I just want find someone where I can finally rest, Someone I can trust and lean on.”

Perhaps it’s because my heart is wide open and these words really landed. A woman doesn’t really want problems to be fixed, or to be corrected in their view points. A woman just wants to know that she can share her feelings safely and trust that it wont be judged for. That she can be emotional and know that we’ve got them. (Women please correct me if I am off, I truly want to know).

It takes great awareness and depth for a man to hold this space. Knowing that our commitment to this will be tested over and over again, just so she knows she can go deeper emotionally and spiritually.

Being a provider goes much deeper than just financial. Although thats part of it. I have in my life been pretty good at this one. For me personally, I have a wound of not being good enough. Every time I feel misunderstood, the little boy in me sees “everything you do is never good enough” so then I begin to prioritize the need to be understood rather than my desire to understand. And shortly after, I create the very distance I’m afraid of. From the not good enough leads to being abandoned. For other men there may be other wounds. Our job when it comes to the depth of ourselves is to be willing to look at this and course correct and hopefully it doesnt take actually losing the one you love. Though often times it takes that exact thing to crack us open enough to look.

I think most of us if we are lucky will fall in love at least once. The type of love that makes the world come alive. Mountains look different, music lands deeper, ordinary things dont seem so ordinary as if the the saturation of life is turned way up. Im not sure how else to explain it. But this love will also reveal the wounds we carry as well. And if you are lucky, you find the one that will stay for a while and carry it with you. Dont take it for granted.

History’s greatest creations have been inspired by the feminine. Countless love songs, sculptures, paintings, even the Taj Mahal was commissioned after the death of emperor Shah Jahan’s wife Mumtaz Mahal as a love letter in marble. Shakespeare, The Mona Lisa. We can go on and on. A man who truly loves can create beyond imagination. Love inspires more than everything else in the world combined.

Perhaps Im just a hopeless romantic like Ted from How I met your Mother. I like it tho.

As I continue to contemplate and learn from lived experiences, I hope that this isnt just another Letters from the Fire article. That this actually becomes a covenant with my own heart. I dont know how things will end for me but I know the man I want to become.

A man whose depth of consciousness is so sturdy, conviction so solid, and heart wide open that someone can find rest in my presence. Love is and always will be the greatest teacher of my life.

thank you for walking this journey with me

Alex Love Li

Sacred Wealth is a reader-supported publication. They pick a niche without naming who they’re actually for. They talk about “helping people” without saying what changes or by when. So nothing lands, because nothing is specific enough to land on. Yes I am talking to you. The rest of this essay can change your entire business, or lack of business =) It’s one of the single biggest ah ha moments i’ve had and sometimes I still struggle with it. I’ve condensed it down to only what I feel is most important.

Its a very simple formula and it works in every industry :

**Who you help + the result you help them achieve + the timeframe.**

That’s it. Get these three things clear, and you have an offer. Leave any one of them vague, and you have a vibe.

- I help first-time creators publish their first Substack in 30 days.

- I help busy professionals reduce stress in 21 days using simple nervous system practices.

- I help aspiring authors finish the first draft of their book in 90 days.

- I help divorced fathers rebuild confidence and create a vision for their next chapter in 8 weeks.

- I help women over 50 build strength and energy through sustainable fitness habits in 12 weeks.

- I help new real estate investors buy their first apartment building within 12 months.

None of these promise to solve every problem. They promise one meaningful result, to one specific person, by one specific point in time.

People don’t buy transformation because it’s enormous. They buy it because they can picture themselves reaching it.

Start With Who You Serve

This is where most people get uncomfortable. Naming an audience feels like saying no to everyone else, and that feels like a loss.

But the discomfort isn’t about the audience. It’s about believing you’re qualified to help them.

Your ideal client is usually closer to you than you think. They’re an earlier version of you. Same doubts, same confusion, same questions that kept you up at night. You don’t need to be ten years ahead. One honest step ahead is enough.

If you’ve learned something that saves someone six months of frustration, you have something to offer them. If you’ve overcome a challenge someone else is still living through, you have something to offer them. Name that person specifically. Not “creators.” Not “people who want more.” The actual person, at the actual stage you remember being at.

The Result You Promise

“Who am I to promise a result?” That question means you care. It doesn’t mean the answer is silence.

You’re not guaranteeing someone’s whole life changes. You’re naming a destination your process is built to reach:

- Calm their nervous system after years of chronic stress

- Publish their first ten articles

- Build a morning routine they actually keep

- Learn the foundations of meditation

- Get their first paying client

- Improve communication with their partner

- Understand the basics of investing

- Develop a consistent writing habit

- Organize their finances and create a monthly budget

Notice what these have in common: they’re specific enough that someone could tell you, honestly, whether they got there or not. That’s the test. If you can’t tell whether you delivered, your reader can’t either.

Why the Timeframe Isn’t Optional

A timeframe does two things.

First, it makes the offer believable. “I’ll help you transform your life” means nothing, no one can picture it, no one knows when to expect it. “I’ll help you publish your first ten Substack articles in 30 days” is something the brain can actually hold. Specificity creates trust.

Second, a timeframe forces you to simplify. If someone asked, “Could you help someone make their first offer in 30 days?” you’d immediately think differently. What’s essential. What can wait. What actually moves the needle.

Without a timeframe, you’re offering to fix someone’s whole life. With one, you’re offering the next real step. That’s the thing people are actually willing to pay for.

Your Turn

Open a blank page. Write one sentence:

**I help _____ achieve _____ in _____.**

Don’t leave any blank vague. If your audience is “everyone,” narrow it until you can picture one person’s face. If your result is “transformation,” name the specific thing that changes. If your timeframe is “eventually,” pick a number.

This sentence is the whole business, compressed. Everything else, your content, your offer, your Creator Circle work is just this sentence, expanded.

Here’s What We Do Inside Sacred Wealth

Most people think they need another course. They don’t.

They need someone to look at their sentence and say: *Who exactly is this? You just described three different people. What does “better” mean here, pick the thing you can actually measure. Thirty days or ninety, which one is true?*

That’s the work.

Every week inside Sacred Wealth, we take a sentence like the one you just wrote and pressure-test it until it holds. We narrow the audience until you can picture one person’s face. We sharpen the result until someone could tell you, honestly, whether they got there. We set a timeframe that’s specific enough to be believed.

Creator Circle is where that happens in real time, not alone, not in your head, but out loud, with people who will tell you when you’re still being vague. And then we help you build the entire funnel. From first offer to your high ticket.

If you’ve been reading these essays thinking “I know I have something to offer, I just can’t get it clear enough to say” that’s exactly why I built this.

The world doesn’t need another creator with a vague idea and a big dream. It needs people who can say, in one sentence, exactly who they help and what changes.

Let’s get yours clear.

I help creators turn one sentence into a real business in 12 weeks. time:

**”Who do you feel called to help?”**

Not what do you do. Not what’s your offer. Who.

Most people can’t answer it. People can talk about what they do all day but rarely have they been asked to get this specific. And without that specificity, everything else you build is going to wobble. Your content, your offers, your income, your energy, all of it sits on top of this one answer.

I learned this the hard way, years ago, when a mentor of mine made me sit with a single sentence:

**”I help [blank] achieve [blank] through [blank].”**

I remember resisting it. It felt too simple for something that took me years to live. But that’s exactly the point, clarity is supposed to feel almost embarrassingly simple once you have it.

The Woman Who Gave Hope to Everyone

On one of our recent Sunday calls, a woman in our group who’s brilliant, devoted, decades of real expertise, told us she helps people find hope through architecture and sustainable design. She’s spoken at county councils in Ireland. She’s addressed rooms full of university students. People come up to her afterward, sometimes in tears, telling her she changed how they see the future.

And she has never made a dollar from any of it, nor has the project been created.

When I asked her why, she said something I think about constantly: *”I guess I’m not identifying my audience... I’ve spoken to everyone.”*

That sentence is the whole lesson.

She wasn’t lacking a gift. She wasn’t lacking a message. She was lacking a *who*. Children, students, councils, conferences. She said yes to whoever showed up, because saying yes to everyone has a “perceived forward movement.” But when you speak to everyone, you build a relationship with no one. You become unforgettable in the room and invisible the moment you leave it.

So I asked her the question that actually matters: ”Are people coming to you for hope or are you trying to sell them architecture?”

Because those are two completely different audiences, with two completely different problems, and two completely different price points. Hope is a feeling. Sustainable infrastructure is a fifty-million-dollar investment decision. If she doesn’t know which one she’s actually in service of, she will keep being invited to speak for free, forever, while people walk away inspired and write checks to someone else.

This is not a marketing problem. This is a clarity problem.

Your Network Is Trying to Tell You Something

Here’s what I notice in myself and in everyone I coach: the moment we get honest about who we’re for, the resistance shows up immediately. “But what about the people who don’t fit that description? What if I lose them?* or even more honest. I’m afraid to market to those people.

You’re not losing them. You’re finally becoming findable by the right ones.

I think about this in real estate terms because that’s where I cut my teeth. If you’re trying to attract investors with real capital, you don’t show up anywhere, you show up where capital already gathers. You don’t speak to everyone who’ll listen; you go stand exactly where your future client already is, because clarity about who you serve tells you where to even put yourself.

Without that clarity, you go wherever you’re invited. You say yes to the wrong rooms. You burn your gift on audiences who admire you but were never going to pay you, and worse, you start to resent the work, because it feels like it’s not working, when really it was just aimed at no one in particular.

Your Pain is Never Random

Here’s the deeper truth underneath all of this, and it’s the one I actually believe with my whole heart: the things that “happened to you” or that you’ve survived happened with extreme precision.

My own writing didn’t start as a strategy. It started in the wreckage of a divorce, in a season where I had to ask what any of it had been for. And what I found, underneath the grief, was this: every heartbreak, every financial collapse and rebuild, every loss, they weren’t punishments. They were curriculum. They were training me for the exact people I’m meant to walk beside now and the people i am meant to serve.

That’s audience, too. Not just demographics. Resonance.Your audience isn’t simply “people who need what you know.” It’s people who recognize themselves in what you survived. The mother who lost everything and rebuilt. The person who left a marriage and had to remember who they were outside of it. The builder who’s tired of building for everyone else’s vision. They’re not looking for your expertise first. They’re looking for proof that someone who went through it made it to the other side and is reaching back for them.

When you know who that person is, you stop performing, stop chasing likes and engagements, you start serving. And service, when it’s specific, is the most magnetic thing in the world.

So Ask Yourself, Right Now

- What challenge have you walked through that you didn’t choose, but now understand?

- Who keeps showing up in your life asking for your help with that exact thing?

- If you finish the sentence ”I help ___ achieve ___ through ___,” what comes out?

Don’t overthink it. Write the rough draft. The polished version comes later, first you need the true one.

This is the exact work we do, in detail, inside our Sunday calls and now every week inside the Creator Circle. Not theory. Not another framework to admire and forget. We sit with these questions out loud, in real time, the same way I sat with that woman and asked her to choose, because choosing is an act of love, not exclusion.

If you’ve been speaking to everyone and reaching no one, I want you in that room.

Your message has a home. Let’s go find it.

We will build your entire roadmap together so that you aren’t chasing transactions, you build an asset that will save you energy, bring you focus, inspire you, and create super fans that will advocate for your work.

Imagine knowing the entire journey you are a stranger through. Every piece of content, every conversation, serving the purpose of moving a person from stranger to super fans. TRUST is the measuring stick.

— Alex

Paid subscription includes “Do at your own pace” sacred wealth academy with all our recordings and teachings. Built coaching programs, masterminds, communities. Helped people buy apartment buildings. My highest-level mastermind was $15,000.

But here’s what I actually learned. It wasn’t just about real estate.

It was about learning how to help people move from where they are to where they want to be.

That’s it. That’s the whole game.

Most people think you need to be an expert before you can build something. They’re waiting until they have all the answers. Waiting until they feel credible. Waiting until the problem is completely solved.

Then one day they look up and realize years have passed and they never actually started.

Here’s what I’ve come to believe.

Businesses don’t always start with expertise. They start with a question you can’t stop asking. A problem you’re living inside of. A challenge you care deeply about solving.

Think about someone who has wanted to write a book for ten years. Started three manuscripts. Quit five times. Bought every course. Read every book on writing. Never finished.

Most people would say that person has no business teaching writing.

I’d disagree.

That person might be the perfect one to gather ten other aspiring writers stuck in the exact same place. Start a weekly writing circle. Show up every Sunday. Share goals. Hold each other accountable. Move together.

The facilitator doesn’t need all the answers. They just need the courage and vision to start something. And by creating the space for others, they often solve it for themselves.

A person learning financial literacy teaches others what they’re discovering in real time. A person rebuilding after a hard season creates community for others walking the same road. A person learning to meditate guides beginners through the very practices keeping them sane.

You don’t need to be twenty steps ahead. You just need enough experience to help someone take the next one.

And sometimes being too far ahead is actually a disadvantage. Experts forget what it felt like to be a beginner. Someone still in the process remembers every doubt, every obstacle, every breakthrough, because they’re living it. That makes them incredibly relatable.

People aren’t always looking for experts.

They’re looking for someone who gets it. Someone willing to walk beside them.

What is ordinary to you is often valuable to someone else. The lessons you’ve learned. The mistakes you’ve made. The questions you keep asking. The obstacles you’ve pushed through. These are assets. This is the raw authentic material.

Your own life is your next business.

So if you’ve been searching for your next idea, stop looking so far away. Look at what you’re navigating right now. Who else is navigating it too? Start there.

That’s exactly what we’re doing inside the Creator Circle, a yearly community on Discord for people who are building in public, learning out loud, and turning their journey into something meaningful. If you’re ready, join through the Substack Founder subscription.

You can subscribe directly through the Creator Circle.

If you want to start smaller, download the free Starter Kit and come to our free Sunday workshop at FREE STARTER KIT - we’ll get you clear on your offering, who you’re meant to serve, and whether Substack is the right home for what you’re building.

Thank you for reading. I hope we get to create together.

“Certain pupils have been assigned to each of God’s teachers, and they will begin to look for him as soon as he has answered the Call. His pupils have been waiting for him, for his coming is certain. Once he has chosen to fulfill his role, they are ready to fulfill theirs. Really Stop. Notice what you feel in that moment. I bet you haven’t done this in a long time. In our times we have turned gratitude into a reflex, just something we say at dinner tables and on social media. A word worn so thin it barely means anything anymore. We’ve made it safe. We’ve made it small.

I’m getting somewhere with this article I promise. It’s not a complain, it’s an invitation.

What if we can make gratitude actually the true recognition of this moment. Because right now, this moment you are in, will never ever happen again. Not in this exact way. Not with these people. Not with your body, your heart as it is, your breath as it is. This particular configuration of your life is unrepeatable.

Think about it for a second. The person sitting across from dinner tonight. The beauty of the company, the way your body just carries you through the day without you even asking it to. These aren’t guarantees. These are Miracles wearing ordinary clothes.

We spend so much of our lives planning and waiting. Waiting for the next chapter, planning for the next vacation, waiting for the next version of ourselves. We miss the profound gift of right now. Our health, the people we love still here, still breathing, still singing.

When I think about what I am actually grateful for. This is where I land. In awe and astonishment. My friends are alive, Im healthy, the people I love still in my life today. And any one of these can come to an end in a moments notice.

Harnessing the power of Gratitude

Here is what I’ve come to understand: If we can cultivate gratitude deeply enough, it begins to reach backwards. It starts to touch every story we’ve told about ourselves.

So many of us carry the weight of our past. Old Wounds. Ancestral patterns. Traumas we’ve been working though for years. And while I have full respect and believe this work is real and sacred, I want to offer something else alongside this. The deepest healing is never going back into the wound, it is rather rising so fully into love and gratitude in this moment that the wounds just get rewritten. The way we talk about them is now infused with Love.

A Course in Miracles says it beautifully : “All your past except its beauty is gone, and nothing is left but a blessing.”

That’s what gratitude at its fullest can do. Transforms all that it touches. It shifts every painful chapter from what was not loving into what was always serving love. This moment of gratitude is powerful enough to change not just your future but the way you understand everything that brought you here.

Again this is an invitation to see. To practice a presence so radical that you stop taking this moment for granted. The moment you truly grasp that this moment will never come again then this conversation, this season, this version of the people you love, gratitude stops being just a word you say.

The next time you say Im grateful, really mean it. Let it land so deep that it changes the way you look at the person next to you. Feel how blessed you are to be here, in this body, in this life.

It is an unrepeatable moment….

Thank you so much for reading

Sacred Wealth is for those that recognize life is about service. Before you pick your niche. Before you even think about subscribers, you need to make one decision.

Is Substack going to be a Hobby or a Business?

A hobby publication:

	•	Write whenever inspiration strikes

	•	No monetization pressure

	•	No growth goals

A business publication:

	•	Consistent publishing

	•	Audience building

	•	Offers, products, subscriptions

	•	Systems and strategy

If your choice is the latter, keep reading. This article was written for you.If your choice is the former my question is, why just a hobby?

I know what comes up when I ask that. The moment money gets involved, it feels like it cheapens something. Like it takes away the purity. Like you’re selling out something sacred.

To that I say: if you could monetize without feeling that way, would you?

That’s the real question. Sit with it.

The Invisible Ceiling

We all carry limits we didn’t consciously choose. Stories we’ve been telling ourselves so long we stopped questioning them. And those stories create invisible ceilings, we are talented and have gifts but somewhere along the way we were taught to play small with them.

Here’s what I know without question: everyone reading this has a gift to offer the world. Without exception. Period.

Whether you’re a coach, a capital raiser, an investor, a healer, a teacher, or someone who hasn’t even found the words for what they do yet, this platform can do something most platforms simply cannot:

1. Deepen your own connection to what you’re offering.

Writing forces clarity. You can’t fake it on the page for long. The act of sitting down and writing will reveal things about your own mission that years of thinking never will.

2. Build a community of loyal followers.

Not by performing. By letting people see something real, the actual texture of how you think, what you believe, and why it matters. Authenticity at scale is rare. And rare is attractive.

3. Create compounding trust over time.

Every post is a deposit. Every honest essay, every vulnerable moment, every piece of real value, it stacks. One day someone discovers you, reads post #1 and post #23 in the same afternoon, and they’re already sold before you ever make an offer.

4. Position yourself as the authority in your space.

Through depth and consistency. People follow those who show up and show their thinking. That combination is breeds authority.

5. Build a funnel that never sleeps.

While you’re coaching, closing deals, raising capital, raising kids, your Substack is out there working. Warming people up. Pulling the right people into your world. Calling in your allies.

6. Reconnect with your own voice.

This world we live in rewards speed and surface, the act of writing something true is almost rebellious. Substack gives you a reason, and a home, to go deeper. People are craving depth.

Trust Is the New Currency

With so much AI content and noise flooding the internet, it is genuinely hard to trust people anymore.

Substack’s entire design is built around trust. Other social platforms reward virality. But you can go viral and still have no one trust you.

Or you can write something that builds a bridge between you and the exact right people. Something that provides real value. Something vulnerable and true. Something that lets people see who you actually are.

That’s what converts. Not algorithms. Not follower counts. Not perfectly edited reels.

Trust.

Writing Reconnects You to Yourself

I believe writing connects us to a part of ourselves we’ve slowly been conditioned to disconnect from.

A level of thought processing that takes time. That requires deeper reflection. That demands more than 10 seconds of our attention.

As much as I believe Substack is a powerful business tool, more importantly, it is a platform to help you find your voice again.

The world has been moving fast and shallow for a long time. Sitting down and writing something honest, something considered, something real, that’s not just a marketing strategy. That’s a practice.

The Real Reason It Hasn’t Happened Yet

For those of you who already know your gifts. Who already know what you want to build. Who have been about to start for longer than you’d like to admit.

If it hasn’t happened: It’s not because you’re not ready. It’s because you don’t have a system.

Most people lack the clarity and the structure to produce something sustainable. Everyone wants to make money from their passions. But that’s not your current reality, its not due to the fact that your gifts aren’t valuable, it is because there is no system built around them yet.

So let me ask you a few things:

Wouldn’t you like to get paid monthly just to write and share what you already know?

Wouldn’t you like that when you launch something, a course, a program, an offer, people are already waiting?

Wouldn’t you like that when you raise money for a deal, investors are reaching out to you?

Wouldn’t you like to be known, really known, for the thing you were put on this life to do? Wouldn’t you like to know it yourself?

Everything that matters in life requires trust. A real marriage. A real business partnership. A real raise. A real movement. If you want to make an impact, in any arena, you have to build trust first.

Substack is how you build it at scale.

This Is Not For Everyone

This is not for you if:

	•	You want results without doing any inner work

	•	You’re looking for a shortcut to fake authority you haven’t earned

	•	You’re not willing to show up consistently, even when it’s uncomfortable

	•	You want to stay completely hidden and still somehow build something meaningful

	•	You genuinely believe your story isn’t worth telling

If any of those hit a nerve, good. That’s the resistance talking. That’s the exact thing that has been keeping you stuck. But if you’re truly not ready, that’s okay. This will be here when you are.

What I’ve Learned Since Starting

Since launching Sacred Wealth on Substack, I’ve been doing two things at the same time.

Going inward: harvesting my own calling and purpose from the deepest parts of myself. Letting the writing pull things out of me I didn’t even know were ready to come out.

And going outward: studying, reading, researching everything I could find about what Substack is actually capable of. From simple blog to newsletter. From newsletter to podcast. From podcast to a platform where some creators are generating life changing, generational income every single month.

The potential here is not small. And most people are still sleeping on it.

Your Next Step

Go to HERE to grab the free starter kit and register free for our next substack creator workshop. Don’t wait. The universe rewards those that take decisive and fast action. Especially during the year of the FIRE HORSE. - clarity will come after action

And with the starter kit….Whether you decide to go all in on Substack or not, what you’ll get is clarity about your own business. Not from this article. It has been out since before you and I were born, in every language and in no language, in every tradition and in none of them. It has been reaching for you through every book that landed in your hands at the right moment, every stranger who said the exact thing you needed to hear, every loss that cracked you open enough to let the light in.

You have heard it before. Maybe you answered. Maybe you told yourself you werent ready, not yet, not until you have healed more, learn more, become more.

This essay isnt going to teach you something new.

It is going to remind you of something you already know. And if it does its job, by the time you reach the end, you will not be able to pretend you didnt hear it.

I woke up this morning in Pisac, Peru and I did what I always do. I opened the Course to whatever page called me.

I landed on the Introduction to Manual for Teachers.

I read it once. Then twice. Then a third and then I had my tea.

By the time we gathered for our call, I knew this wasnt just a passage to share. It was a reckoning. Because here is what it said. Very plainly like its the most obvious thing in the world : You are always teaching.

Not sometimes. Not when you are in front of a room or on zoom. Every single moment of your life is a demonstration. And your demonstration is always, without exception, teaching one of two things: Love or Fear.

Miracle #23

On this call we went ought miracle principles 21-30. One that is worth mentioning here is Miracle #23. It says : Miracles rearrange perception and places all levels in true perspective. and that sickness comes from confusion of levels.

Confusion of levels means we have built our entire lives on and upside down hierarchy. The external world, our job, our relationship status, our bank account, what someone said about us, sits at the very top, as the cause. And we have become the effect. The victim. The reactor.

God? Love? Spirit? They get stuffed at the boom when it becomes convenient. We call on them when were desperate, when things fail, and when we need a bailout.

The miracle flips that. It says: you are at the cause, not the effect and beyond your mind, your perceptions, and your choices. God, is the source of it all.

When the levels are right. All questions are answered, and all confusion is dissolved.

What Oneness Actually means

The word oneness has been used so many times it has almost lost the weight of its meaning. One love, One tribe, One family. we say it and nod and move on.

Heres what it means and what the Course teaches us.

Every single thing that has ever been and ever will be is part of one unfolding of God’s will.

Not somethings. or the beautiful thing, the holy things, things we approve of. EVERY SINGLE THING.

The trees. The animals. The strangers who becomes a family. The investment that failed, the heart breaks, the business youre building. Donald Trump, Mother Teresa, Hitler, Martin Luther King Jr and you sitting here reading this. All of it without exception is part of ONE unfolding.

This is the Sonship the Course calls us to remember. We look at bodies and we see separation, we see different faces, different religions, different wounds. And through that lens of course we fight and judge. Of course we build walls to protect our hearts. But separation is the illusion. it always has been the illusion.

The Course says : there is nothing you can possibly do that is not already in accordance with God’s Will, with this one unfolding. When you really remember this, all of your fears and judgements will dissolve. When you look through the lens of one unfolding, all of life makes sense.

This is also why the word “God” has lost its potency as well. We collapsed it into our own likeness. We’ve given God our moods, our punishments, our conditions. The wrathful God and the all-loving God in the same sentence, contradicting each other. This is not God, this is us, projecting upwards.

The real restoration of the word is this : God is the one unfolding. Everything already belongs to it. You already belong to it. Nothing you do can change this.

The World is Tired

Someone on the call shared that she had lost a dear friend the week before and that his best friend passed just twelve hours later. I found myself coming back to the only thing I feel like can comfort and bring peace is something the course points to again and again.

There is nothing happening outside of God’s will. Nothing.

Lately when I find myself in anger, heartbreak, or upset. My mantra has been “God is real” because at the end of the day, my journey is to be closer to God. Some people would say this is spiritual bypassing, I feel its the opposite. Its not about pretending it didnt hurt or perform peace when you dont feel it. It is the willingness to trust that what broke you was not outside of Love. From the depth of the darkness we can access joy in a way that the world cannot explain.

You have Never Not Been Teaching

Now we get to the most profound part of todays call. The Manual for teachers opens with this:

The role of teaching and learning is reversed in the thinking world.

The rest of this reflection explores who actually are God’s Teachers and the Roles of them. Paid subscribers help this movement and can enjoy the full benefits of the Sacred Wealth Library.

Yet in this chapter of life, it feels like I am losing more than I am gaining. I guess when people say “people don’t see the struggles of success,” this is that chapter. For those of you who don’t know me, thank you for even reading this. I hope what I write here brings us closer. For those who do know me, I hope this brings our hearts closer together.

You may have read my previous essay about my divorce, but what I didn’t share was everything else that was collapsing at the same time. I wasn’t just losing the love of my life. I lost an empire, a real estate portfolio I built from the ground up, starting with my first triplex fifteen years ago. About four years ago I expanded into commercial real estate. I was raising money, making investors a lot of money, and building something real. But I was buying at the tail end of a boom. The correction came fast. I tried to protect my investors by selling my own properties and covering the shortfalls myself. By the end of 2025, right before my marriage ended, I had lost $2.5 million of my investors’ money out of $10 million and millions more of my own.

I had poured everything into my community. Not just transactions, but personal development. Return on relationships. When my world started collapsing, I tried to hold it all together. But it felt like God was saying: “everything you’re meant to become requires a passage through fire.” I had prayed constantly to bring peace, to impact hearts, to reach people all over the world. And like a brother of mine in Peru once told me, “Be careful what you pray for. Make sure you can sustain what comes from it.” Every day I think about how to make things right. And I know, as long as my heart beats, I will. I will make whole the people I’ve failed. I will bring them into whatever I build next.

In the meantime, the harshness has been heavy. From people I thought were friends. From places I expected support, I found some of my hardest challenges. I know I have relationships to repair and trust to rebuild. But being met with five harsh messages a day, when you’re already carrying all of this, it weighs on you. There are moments I feel lit up and ready to rise again, and then the weight comes back. I have so much respect for all those comeback stories.

I’m sharing this because I know I’m not the only one going through it. That feeling where all the hard work seems to have added up to nothing. Where you gave everything and got handed heartbreak after heartbreak. I know I’m not alone. And I know there are people out there praying for me, holding space for me, even when I can’t feel it.

I call forth my allies. Putting this out here is vulnerable, but I want to know who my people are. I want to see what I actually poured into this community. I want to feel the impact I made. I want to know that some good came out of all of this.

To everyone who sees me and loves me without conditions, thank you. You help me remember who I am. To those who have been harsh, you have every right. I let you down, and I own that completely. I only pray that when your own dark night of the soul comes, people meet you with compassion. And I want you to know: as long as my heart beats and blood moves through my veins, I will spend my life making your investment in me worth it.

To the future me reading this

You’re welcome.

<a class="image-link image2 is-viewable-img" target="_blank" Life is full of heartbreaks but can we stay curious enough to learn rather than becoming more closed off. So many of us carry with us heartbreaks thats never fully been processed. Instead of healing, we adapt. We become a little less emotionally available, a little more detached, a little less expressive. My coach calls this being a lazy lover.

I can see this clearly in my own life. How one heartbreak follows me into the next relationship. I crave intimacy (Into me you see) but also guarded myself from it. The armor carried into our next relationships look like not being present, attention drifting, emotionally disconnecting, physically disconnecting, unwilling to engage in deeper conversations and theres probably many more.

Sisters reading this right now probably experience one or more of these from us. And the complaints usually isnt heard. I now understand the exhaustion and frustration beneath these complaints. At least for me, I feel you guys are just asking to feel chosen, to feel emotionally safe to share, and just to be seen. How many times I have perceived these requests as an attack on how I am showing up and became defensive. How exhausting it must be to try to communicate with me.

I am a very spiritual and intellectual person. I know I am very smart and very capable. But man how dumb also at times. Please sisters, as you are reading this, find it in your heart to forgive us and have some faith in us. We are awakening. One heartbreak at a time. Thank you so much for all have you have up with.

For my brothers out there. You have done your best to be a provider and a safe space. You carry so much burden that only us men truly understand. I see you and Im with you. We can let our guards down a bit and become a little more flexible with our ideals.

And you know, despite all the philosophies, disciplines, self protection, the heart still longs to open. I want to share a quick story with you. It is the one of the greatest stories ever told - The Ramayana

An ancient story from India that has survived thousands of years because it speaks to something timeless inside the human heart.

The story of Rama and Sita. A story of sacred love and devotion.

Rama was a prince. Noble, disciplined, deeply devoted to dharma (the path of truth and righteousness). He was loved by his people and destined to become king.

Sita was his equal in every way. Graceful, wise, loyal, and deeply spiritual. Their love is remembered not as a romance but as a sacred union of two souls awakening the purpose of each other.

Just before Rama was crowned king, there was political and family betrayal where Rama was exiled for fourteen years. Sita who would have been crowned queen chose to follow him. Walking beside him into the exile. They left the palace behind and entered into the forest. With just each other.

Deep in the forest, Sita was seen by Ravana, A powerful king of Lanka. He is known as the demon king. He is brilliant, powerful, and deeply consumed by ego and desire. When he sees Sita, he becomes obsessed with possessing her. Through deception, Ravana kidnaps Sita and carries her across the ocean to his kingdom in Lanka.

When Rama returned and couldn’t find her. He did not just collapse and shut down. His commitment and devotion of Love, removes all barriers of the mind. All limitations. Ram searched the forests, asking for help, formed alliances, gathers armies, and crosses impossible distances for the woman he loves. Love gives direction to our power.

Along this journey, Rama meets one of the most beloved figures in all of the Indian Mythology. HANUMAN!

Btw check out the new tattoo

<a class="image-link image2 When Hanuman met Rama, his entire live changed. He recognized something sacred in Rama and devoted himself completely to Rama’s mission. And through this devotion, impossible things became possible.

Hanuman leaps across an entire ocean searching for Sita. He entered Lanka alone and single handily fights an army and burns down much of Lanka. His most famous moment comes later during the great battle where Lakshmana, Rama’s brother, is wounded and near death. Hanuman is told a sacred healing herb from distant mountain can save him. So Hanuman flies across the world to retrieve it. But unable to identify the exact herb, he lifts the entire mountain and carries it back in his hands. That image symbolizes how devotion removes limitation. A fully aligned heart filled with love becomes capable of carrying mountains.

Eventually Rama and his allies wage war against Ravana and rescues Sita.

That was my nice short version of the Ramayana. Check it out and read it yourself. For me it has so many symbols. Love is what gave direction to Rama, and Hanumans powers. And I’d even say in some way, Ravana (the demon) as well. I think many of us have forgotten that devotion is actually one of the greatest sources of masculine strength.

Real love awakens us, humbles us, inspires us, and breaks us open enough to be students again. I aspire to love so deeply that all my doubts disappear.

There’s a quote associated with Hanuman. When he was asked: who are you?

He said: “When I forget who I am, I serve you. When I remember who I am, You and I are One”

I think a lot of us, myself included. We lose ourselves and forget who we are in relationships.

I became guarded by the pressure I carried. The burden of trying to provide, trying to succeed, trying to hold everything together and carrying my own fears inside. I dont want to live disconnected anymore.

I dont want to carry old heartbreaks into new love. I vow to practice devotion. I vow to become more emotionally safer, more present, more alive.

I want to stupidly fall in love again.

The kind of love that inspires me to write music, makes impossible things feel small, crushes my limiting beliefs. I want to fall be so madly in love that life reorganizes around it.

This is my prayer. May this person meet me on this dance floor soon.

In the meantime, I will continue cultivating patience and faith….

Thank you for reading.

I hope we get closer and cross paths soon.

Sacred Wealth is a reader-supported publication. - Marshall Rosenberg

“Every attack is a call for love” - A Course in Miracles(ACIM)

Underneath almost every judgement is a past story where there was a hurt. Underneath anger is often fear, and underneath control is often an attempt to feel safe again. I’m sure this is not something new for you, however most human beings, myself included have not master the art of non violent communication(NVC). This is why I have brought NVC into our ACIM calls.

We don’t know how to communicate our deeper needs directly so instead of saying: “I feel unseen” we say “you never listen to me” or “you never pay attention to me” instead of “you were on your phone multiple times during dinner time, that makes me feel disconnected.”

Once attack enters the communication, the other person usually attacks back. Both parties become more committed to defending themselves than understanding each other. I can’t even begin to count how many times that happened in my past marriage. This is why grievance multiply so quickly.

One hurt becomes a story. The story becomes a part of our identity, and the identity becomes our perception, and our perception becomes the truth. And eventually we aren’t even looking at reality itself, just the meaning we have assigned to it.

This is why both NVC and ACIM point to the same practice. Look beyond the attack. Begin to separate fact / a need to our interpretations and our attacks.

Below are 3 more profound Reflections from our Wed Morning ACIM zoom call.

Reflection #1 : Gratitude and Grievance do not coexist

A grievance is not just something we hold against another person. It becomes our way of seeing.

At first, it may appear to be something small, a resentment or a disappointments but when left unquestioned, this grievance slowly becomes a lens through which we interpret reality itself. The moment we cling to resentment, we start searching for evidence that the world is unsafe. We project our district onto people, relationships, communities, our government, and even God. That grievance no linger lives in one moment. It shapes our way of seeing, our perception.

This is why in ACIM it says

“Love holds no grievances.”

Grievances distort the mind’s ability to truly see. It makes a decision about the present from the past, saying things like: “I already know your intentions” and also generalizing one experience to others that seem to reflect the same traits. Example : “All white men are ____” or “Christianity is _____” or “All republicans are ____” you get the point. The ego finds comfort in certainty even when it destroys our peace.

One of the deepest realizations I had recently came through reflecting on my divorce. There were so many moments where I replayed stories, blame, and pain in my mind but I always had one prayer carrying me. Please let my heart be more open at the end of this. And after sometime, gratitude would enter where grievance once lived. I began to see that this relationship was my classroom teaching me about communication, forgiveness, attachments, and love itself. As gratitude truly entered my heart, my grievances and resentments disolved.

Gratitude and Grievance cannot coexist simultaneously. In these genuine moments of gratitude, there’s no room for hatred, blame, attack or resentments. Gratitude practices now has even deeper meaning for me. I hope that you are a little more inspired to keep cultivating a grateful heart. Because we have sooooo much to be grateful for.

Reflections #2 : The child who went to jail and loved it

One of the most profound moments for me on the call came when one of our attendees shared a story about a child who ended up in detention with her mother. For most of us, we immediately label that experience as tragic. Our minds rush to conclusions: That’s terrible, the child must be suffering but when the child was asked how she felt. She said : “I like jail.”

Why? Because for the first time, she had her mother’s undivided attention. No phones, no distractions, just connection. Suddenly the entire situation looked different. Not good or bad. Just wow, becoming aware of how quick my mind goes to judgement.

In ACIM, there’s a lesson “I do not perceive my own best interest.” At first, the ego resist this completely. Of course we know what makes us happy. But looking deeper into our own lives. How many things did we want desperately that later became suffering? How many heartbreaks became awakenings and lessons? The Holy Spirit sees a much larger curriculum unfolding beyond the surface. In each moment if we can just slow down enough to say “perhaps there is something I cannot see yet.” This is spiritual maturity. This is us growing from judgement to compassion. This is how peace is cultivated in our minds.

I am so thankful for this story, this reminder today. It will impact me for a very long time. I hope I never forget it.

Reflections #3 : Real Change or Punishment

One of the most confronting teachings from NVC is “what do I want the other person’s reason to be for changing?”

We are often confronted with wanting someone’s behaviors to change. A mother to her child, A husband to a wife and vice versa, a coworker, a friend, the president, the list goes on and on. At first it seems obvious, we want better communication, we want more peace, we want their behavior to stop. But the course of actions we take shows something deeper and far less loving. We want them to feel guilty, hurt, ashamed, or punished enough to finally understand our pain. Look at all the ways our society tries to change peoples behaviors, look at our own ways of communicating to others.

Attack only creates more attack and judgement multiplies judgement. We threaten, manipulate, guilt, punish, withdraw love in hopes that pain will produce some kind of awakening. Sometimes behavior changes temporarily but fear based change rarely transforms the heart. Real transformation usually happens when someone feels safe enough to stop defending themselves.

This reflection deeply challenged me to look at my own relationships. When I want someone to change, What is the energy of my request? Do I want them to feel small so I can feel safe? Or do I genuinely want healing for both of us?

This is a reflection I will continue to unravel for myself. For now I know that when I want someone’s behavior to change, I will add “What do I want their reason for change to be?”

Thank you for reading!

Twice a week Live calls and Reflections from our calls will be for the paid subscribers.

For the price of a Starbucks coffee per month, It will greatly help me carry on this work to share it with more people. I’ve always loved writing. There has always been things I want to share. Over the last seven years, I started five different books, none of which I fully completed or published. Part of the reason was that I was a harsh critic of myself. My lessons kept evolving. My worldview kept changing. I would reread something I wrote a year later and think, That’s not even me anymore. So i was constantly starting and stopping. Even though I often received amazing feedback from my writing, I still did nothing with it.

Then my friend Madi introduced me to Substack. She had just lost her mom and was writing from the fire of her experience. Im currently going through a divorce myself, and something about seeing her write so honestly made me think, Why not?

I wrote my first piece, and had absolutely no idea what would happen next.

Over 4,000 people read it. Strangers, close friends, people I hadn’t spoken to in years. I received emails, texts, DMs, and phone calls. People shared things with me that they had never said out loud before. Honestly, it shocked me. I felt incredibly supported, but I also had several realizations that completely changed the way I see writing, social media, and my own future.

Read my first article here.

The biggest Realization was this: People Are Starving for Realness.

Writing from my heart in the middle of my actual experience became the most engaging thing i had created in years. I didn’t have the perfect hook nor did I focus on optimization. I was just trying to be as honest as possible.

Social media has trained so many creators to make content based on what they think will perform instead of what is truly alive in them. Everything becomes about capturing attention, increasing engagement, learning the algorithms, maximizing retention.

A beautiful teaching form A Course in Miracles says that we cannot escape our own inner world. As we become disconnected from ourselves, we being to seeing disconnection everywhere else too. We become more skeptical, more guarded, and less able to truly meet another human being. You can see it in the shallowness of so many conversations. Depth actually makes people uncomfortable.

People can feel this now. We can feel when someone is speaking from performance versus truth. We can feel when something was created for the metrics instead of meaning.

That’s why I genuinely believe we are moving into an era where authenticity, vulnerability, and soul level expression will become increasingly valuable. We dont need polished perfection, we need real people sharing real experiences in real time. Maybe I am seeing this because im currently walking through deep emotions myself. But honestly, I think many people are exhausted from surface level long.

Let’s make vulnerability and authenticity cool again.

My second Realization : Almost every social media platform has drifted into nonsense content.

TikTok, instagram, X, facebook.

It just feels like noise now. There are so many brilliant creators out there they are creating for reaction instead of resonance. It just feels empty even though they catch my attention.

I’ve spent the last ten years building online businesses in real estate, personal transformation, plant medicine spaces, and A Course in Miracles communities. I’ve spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on masterminds, softwares, CRMS, ads, partnerships, funnels, courses, and systems.

Some worked beautifully and some failed. Because of all that experience I can say that Substack is one of the best top of the funnel platforms available now - if it’s used correctly. I dont mean in some manipulative marketing sense. I mean correctly as in sharing something real. Trust is built naturally through writing itself.

I already have ten years of teachings, building systems, courses, and communities behind me. For the first time I feel like my work may actually be able to live underneath one roof in a way that feels aligned.

The flames of inspiration are burning brightly in me now. And im documenting this journey because I genuinely believe many other people are feeling this too.

Third Realization : I feel different parts of my life is being gathered into one tribe.

If you know me personally, you know I Love sitting around a fire. And thats what this whole experience feels like to me. It feels less like “content creation” and more like sitting around a campfire telling stories.

Writing has slowed me down. It has helped me organize my thoughts. I’ve always been a massive visionary. My mind moves fast. I want to create a million things at once. I can’t even tell you how many projects I’ve started and never finished because I believe I wasn’t operational enough to bring them to life. And all the personality tests I took reinforced that story.

But just after one week of constantly writing and building on Substack, I can already feel something shifting in me. Writing is helping me change the way I relate to my own mind. And finally, the vision I am beginning to see is this: Everything I already do can eventually come into alignment underneath one deeper mission.

The books, the retreats, the podcasts, the events, the teachings, the business, the community. It doesn’t have to feel separated anymore. For the first time in a long time, I can see a future where money flows without me needing to disconnect from my heart to create it.

The clarity around what I’m building feels like a prayer being answered. So as of now, I’ve spent dozens of hours studying Substack, watching videos, learning the platform. Understanding strategy, mindset, writing structure, growth design, and community building.

My plan moving forward is simple. Ill be sharing how im building my page, how I’m thinking about community, how Im structure my funnel, and eventually create a free PDF for all of you as well.

More than anything though, I hope this journey inspires you.

I will begin documenting how I put my systems together.

Thank you for reading and following along. Don’t forget to subscribe, its not the same as follow =)
<p class="button-wrapper" I believe people are craving for more depth, more meaning, more authenticity, and real connection. Yet everywhere we look, the world seems to be moving in the opposite direction. On all the social media platforms you can see it’s become a place for social war and division. I see endless chasing of “likes and engagements,” myself included.

So much noise and information that it’s hard to even determine who to listen to anymore. With abundance of information it’s like being at a candy shop with too many options. We don’t even know who to listen to anymore or whats even true. With the addition of AI, people are using it to draw attention. Misdirecting people. Everyday I get tricked that some celebrity has died or a player in the NBA got injured or traded. Creating false news just to capture attention and get engagement. And then on top of that I get spammed constantly by bots or automations. I’m afraid to even click on anything for someone is bound to start sliding in my dms(direct messages).

We are more connected than ever, yet many people feel disconnected from themselves, their families, and their purpose.

That’s why I’ve Moved to Substack

Writing has always felt different to me. Writing slows me down, helps me reflect, and helps me honor what life is actually teaching me while I am living it. And for the first time in a long time, I feel like I found a place where depth still matters.

I created this page called Sacred Wealth, a space devoted to exploring both financial and spiritual freedom, without sacrificing one for the other.

People are either burning themselves out trying to achieve financial freedom while sacrificing peace, relationships, health, and their values in the process. Others go to the opposite end and walk away entirely from money in pursuit of spiritual freedom, only to find instability, survival, and stress.

Very few people are talking about how to bridge the two.

I’ve always believed they don’t need to be enemies. I believe living in alignment, in service, and in abundance can all exist together. And I know deep inside you do too.

Over the years I have built multiple multi-million dollar business and real estate portfolios. I have also lost almost everything and rebuilt again. I have also renounced the rat race, bought an RV and lived in the forest. And through that journey, I learned something important.

If success costs your peace, the bill eventually comes due in the form of your health and relationships. And if your spiritually is not grounded in reality, eventually it collapses under the weight of survival and the instability begins to erode the very peace you worked so hard to find.

Can purpose and property support each other? Can wealth become an extension of service? Can we build a beautiful life that does not require abandoning ourselves to achieve it?

This is where I will be sharing my journey openly. And I hope to be learning from you too. Often times I am in a teacher position but I have learned from the teachings of A Course in Miracles that teacher and student are always in a dance, at any given moment the position can change. We just need to keep a beginners mind and be in curiosity.

Within my Substack you will find topics on

Real Estate, Business, A Course in Miracles, Purpose, Relationships, healing modalities, and Faith.

I hope Scared Wealth becomes a place where we can explore that together. I will also document my Substack journey so that you may begin your own.

If any of this speaks to something inside you. In Peru, Life felt spacious. In Vegas, everything felt accelerated. The lights, the constant movement, the pressure to get things done. It was all so stimulating. And yet it was a very sacred spiritual experience because this is a season where life was asking me to let go. Literally.

I’ve moved many times in my life but I just packed things in storage and boxes. But this time around its after my divorce. I noticed some things i have carried around for twenty years! I found basketball jerseys i use to wear from high school. These jerseys lived in boxes, garbage bags, closets, then boxes again. They sat in three difference storage units across completely different times of my life. I just kept moving them from one place to another.

I think many of us live this way. Not just with our possessions but with identities and stories. We keep carrying things long after their time has ended. And this time around things really felt different. I wasn’t just sorting out old belongings, I was sorting through my marriage.

Letters that we wrote each other, Christmas ornaments, inside jokes, and the hardest of all was the vision board we made together while dreaming about our future. As we threw things away, we cried.

The two of us stood in the remains of a shared life, feeling the weight of what once mattered so deeply. This experience, though sad and heartbreaking feels freeing. I got to really feel the emotions and we got to feel them together.

So often in life and in our relationship, we dont get to stay with the experience long enough, and like these objects they get stored. Stored inside our body hardening us. I realized that how much of this suffering wasn’t coming from life changing, but from my resistance to let things change. I accumulated so much things.

Life asks us to release not to punish us but to remind us that were never meant to build our identity around what can be lost. - This is a powerful message from the teachings of A Course in Miracles. I am grateful, this teaching feels very integrated after this experience.

There is a freedom that’s I feel is emerging in me now. A desire to live lighter, more intentional, more present, and less attached. I no longer want my life to be buried under unconscious accumulation. I want space. Space in my home, space in my nervous system, space in my relationships, in my soul.

The mountains in Peru was teaching me this before I had these words. The locals call these mountains Apus. In Andean traditions, the Apus are believed to be sacred mountain spirits, protectors of the land, the guardians, the ancient intelligence. I can honestly say that it feels different there. They actually reminded me of how tired I was of all the overstimulations and how much of my life was movement without presence.

In Peru, I wake up slowly. I listen to the birds, I drink tea, I stare off into the mountains. I felt life moving through me rather than trying to control every part of it. I believe that this is Sacred Wealth too. The ability to hold life effortlessly. To be able to love deeply without gripping so tight. To let experiences transform me rather than imprison me, and to remain open after heartbreak instead of becoming hardened by it.

Maybe these letters are not really about my story but to bring you closer to your own. Closer to the emotions, the attachments, parts of you that can be released into the fire so something more alive can emerge.

Underneath all the noise, i think most of us already know what matters. We just move too fast and rarely sit long enough to feel it, let alone write about it.

Please do leave a comment below of what part of your life are you being asked to release now? I’d love to hear what the fire has been teaching you. It is in these comments I hope you and others reading it will find that we are not going through this alone. I pray that this page brings people together.

Consider Subscribing below. class="fake-input">

This Substack is being born during a crack in my heart. I am not speaking from a place of having things figured out, a real estate mentor, A course in miracles teacher. I am speaking form the part of me still journeying through the fire. The part that is still learning to how to love, how to let go and how to trust God even when life becomes unrecognizable.

This is Sacred Wealth. It is not about accumulation of things. It is the wealth that remains after life humbles you. It is the remembering that love, presence, truth, community, prayer, and God are the real currencies of a meaningful life. These letters are written from the fire within each of us, the spark of creation and remembrance. A spark that calls each of us back home.

I hope that these letters help you love deeper, forgive easier, and remember that even heartbreak can become holy ground.

Seven years ago I met a beautiful soul inside a persona development training called Gratitude Training. From the beginning, there was something free about her spirit that intrigued me deeply. At the time, I was working for the company and coaching many of the students, so relationships between staff and students were not allowed during the program. But after the training ended, I asked her out.

We spent the night at the beach together and I remember knowing deeply inside that we had messages to share with one another. At first we started as a long distance relationship between Florida and Canada which quickly became a life together. She moved to Florida and Life opened. Everything flowed. She became my inspiration to build. My coaching business expanded, my real estate portfolio grew, opportunities appeared everywhere. It felt as though love had breathed life into every part of me.

During Covid, we lived in Peru together for a year, and it was there that I proposed to her. We married in 2021. At the time, I truly believed I had hit the jackpot, and maybe I had. But love knows the way and will expose every place where we are still sleeping.

Looking back now, I can see that throughout our relationship she was expressing pain long before I knew how to hear it.

She wasn’t asking for me to be perfect or to stop building. She was asking to feel me with her while I was building. I did not understand the difference then. I thought the meaning of love meant providing, creating security, and building a future. In many ways, I was trying to love her through everything I was building. But love is not only measured in what we create for someone. It is measure in how deeply they feel us beside them while we are creating it.

I spent so much time traveling for conferences, attending ceremonies, playing video games, watching sports, playing the guitar, chasing visions and expansions. though none of those things are inherently wrong, much of that came from the space where our intimacy could have grown.

In our relationship I heard complaints but all she was asking was for me was : “can you be here with me?” I could not clearly hear that, and slowly, our wounds began speaking louder than our love. The arguments were rarely about the things we were arguing about. Underneath it were two people longing to feel safe, chosen, understood, appreciated, and met. I started carrying the story that nothing I did was enough. She started withdrawing because it no longer felt safe to fully share her heart.

It pains me to think about how alone she must of been while in my physical presence.

The more we defended ourselves the less we could hear each other. I think this happens in so many relationships. Two people begin by offering love to one another and over time they begin protecting themselves from one another.

We tried coaching, therapy, and different ways to communicate. Some of it helped temporarily but unresolved pain has a way of resurfacing until the truth is finally faced. The truth was simple yet I spent so much time proving why i was right. Beneath the fighting were just two human beings hurting and asking to be loved.

There were moments where I became incredibly reactive. Moments where my nervous system was so overwhelmed that I was not emotionally or physically safe to be around.

This is difficult to admit publicly, but i must be rooted in truth, or I will never be free.

To the outside world, it looked like I had everything together. I had a growing business, a beautiful marriage, a meaningful life. But private pain does not disappear just because public success exists. Eventually the resentment became heavier than the connection.

I am not trying to summarize 7 years of love into one letter but I can tell you what heartbreak revealed. It’s almost as if I needed to lose her in order to finally let down my righteousness. I remember moments after our separation thinking :

Why did I fight so hard over things that didn’t matter? Why was I so defensive? Why did I wait until loss to fully see what she was asking from me?

At first, anger came, then guilt, then grief but slowly and still unraveling is Reverence, Gratitude, and Humility. The more I stopped trying to make someone wrong in this relationship, the more my heart began to reopen.

In this moment, When i think about her, mostly I dont think of failure. I think of a soul who changed my life forever. I think of someone who reflected back to me both my capacity to love and the place where fear still lived inside me. I think of someone who helped me crack open my heart.

Yesterday, as i signed over assets and pieces of the life we built together, I found myself wishing I had more to give. I wish i could make up for the pain I caused. I wish I could make her feel safer in this world. I wish I had understood sooner. But life only teaches us from where we actually are, not from where we wish we had been.

there were periods during this separation where I thought heartbreak would harden me forever. Moments where bitterness felt easier than forgiveness. Moments where I could feel my heart trying to close in order to survive. but somewhere in the middle of all this, I made one prayer:

God,

When this is over, let me emerge with a more open heart.

Somehow through all the pain, I know my prayer is being answered.

What I know today is this: The heart does not break to punish us, it breaks to increase our capacity to love. Increase our ability to show up for others. Increase our empathy for our brothers and sisters. Some flowers only bloom after fire. And one of the greatest forms of Sacred Wealth I discovered through all this was community.

My tribe carried me when i could no carry myself. People showed up for me in ways I still cannot fully process. The calls, prayers, conversations, meals, presence.

In the modern world, heartbreak often happens in isolation, but I was held. If you are reading this while navigating heartbreak, grief, resentment, confusion, or loss, I hope this reminds you that love is possible, even here. Especially here. Sometimes the collapse of a relationship is also the collapse of everything blocking love. And what grows afterwards becomes more beautiful than we could have imagined.

This is the beginning of Sacred Wealth.

Letters from the Fire.

I have not mastered Life, I am learning, day by day, how to walk through the flames without abandoning my heart.

Stay close.

There is more to remember together.

Alex Love Li

Thanks for reading Sacred Wealth!
