Beloved ones, here we are now, crossing the threshold into the final phase of Eclipse season. How are you faring out there? Have you been utterly rearranged? Not quite sure which way is up yet? Good, stay with it.

I personally feel really moved by how potent this Eclipse season has been, and continues to be. It feels as though we’ve been able to traverse multiple timelines within this soul’s journey, sift through the teachings of each and find our way into alignment with that which is most suited for the path ahead.

I am traveling thru Salish Land / Washington State to visit one of my teachers for a week, and she said something yesterday that struck me;

“When you receive a calling, you must follow it. And remember that when you receive the Call, nothing is never as it seems.”

There is an immense wisdom AND courage required to follow this instinctual nature, to the point where we trust in it so deeply that we need not understand where it’s taking us. We simply follow it and trust the path ahead.

I have been working quite a bit with this animal nature, the wolf-like being that resides within. The first chapters of Women Who Run With Wolves by Clarissa Pinkola Estes feels like an extremely timing guide for these waters.

In my experience, the wisdom of Pisces can guide us in this. The secret of this trust - or dare I say, faith - is an intimate understanding and EXPERIENCE of the interconnectedness of All Things. When we know in our bones that every movement on the path is in chorus with some greater pulse, as the beat of the World’s Heart, we find our place in the greater family of things with ease. We trust in endings and beginnings, that death is a doorway, and our felt sense of this continuity can guide beyond reason. That is Faith, to me.

The Tarot Card that corresponds to the Decan where the Eclipse is occurring is the 8 of cups. The image itself feels entirely fitting to meditate on as we welcome the teachings of this final eclipse in Pisces…

Beloved ones, I hope you’re doing well out there, all things considered. The wake of the Eclipse left me ragged, in need of resource. I have been returning to drink from the well of the practices that nourish me, which has often looked like waking up before sunrise to sit and listen to the dawn chorus. Drinking Lotus tea, practicing subtle movements of Gong Fu, tracing the contours of my field in quiet contemplation.

The animal body must move slowly to integrate the big changes that are here. The biggest message I received this past week was that with expansion comes equal + opposite contraction, and we must expand our capacity for the big energy that is taking root in our system. If our circuits are fried, that becomes nearly impossible to integrate. The technology of our animal body, the intelligence of this vessel, IS the container where any energetic change will occur. May we create the conditions for that to be enriching + deep.

Our nervous system is the circuitry, and our mind is the tabula rasa. Regulating the animal body and clearing the mind are ways to prepare this vessel for whatever process is underway. So, I wanted to share a practice with you that I do every morning, to anchor this into my being.

Friends, our first Eclipse of the season arrives this week. There has been much hullabaloo about this one, it is a big moment indeed. Nothing is as it seems; may we take time to drop into the Deep Self, to hear it speak.

My guides unexpectedly had a LOT to say about this one, so it turned into mostly a live oracular divination / trance speech, which felt like a nice surprise. They mostly speak in symbol + poetry, so I hope it makes some sense. Try not to think too hard about it, intellectually at least ;)

Our first eclipse occurs on August 12th at 1:45pm EST, a Solar Eclipse in Leo.

The moon passes between Earth + Sun, occluding the light for a brief moment. This will be visible on Turtle Island, and I do not recommend going outside to see it. I recommend meditation, veiling your head, and staying present so that your senses remain sharp. In the Vedic tradition, the switching off of the lights is seen as inauspicious, and so that is my personal observance. Do what you will, you are a free agent too.

The second Eclipse of the season will be on August 28th at 12:12am EST, a midnight moon; a Lunar Eclipse in Pisces. This will be the grand finale on that axis, and although the nodes will be in Leo/Aquarius, they are within orb of the luminaries to create a partial eclipse, as the Earth passes between Sun + Moon. Again, I don’t recommend ritual or spellcraft for manifesting anything during these times. Cleansing, protection + reflection is encouraged. Don’t sign any contracts if you can help it.

The activations below will be a brief synopsis of the themes we are closing out on the Virgo/Pisces axis, and heading into on the Leo/Aquarius axis. Read for your Rising Sign, as this follows whole sign house interpretations.

Enjoy Eclipse Season! May it be gentle with you! <3 T

Dear Heart, the past cycle has been, at times, a strange and numinous process. The South Node has been gently stirring the machinations of your psyche, shaking loose the stagnant stories of your inner world. At times this has likely felt exhausting, as so much was happening just beneath the surface of your conscious awareness. Rest + cave time has been equally as important as a way of honoring this renewal, to make way for the sense of clarity that comes on the other side of a psychic purge. You may have felt unable to fully grasp what exactly has been moving through you, the storehouse of memory and emotional impressions that have lived rent free in your own self-concept slowly released in the name of rebirth. More specifically, stories of inadequacy or the tally you’ve kept of your perceived failures may have come to the surface to be seen, felt, and compassionately released back to the pool of all things.

It is likely that the inner critic got triggered at times, a careful protector whose well-intended pattern often becomes a barrier to an innate sense of faith in your ability to succeed, no matter what may come. Those voices of scarcity are often internalized from outer ones, taking on the beliefs of those that doubt you as a form of self-protection. Unfortunately, this creates internal barriers in how you relate to your path, especially in how you perceive the strength of your medicine in the world. This past cycle has been a compassionate clearing of those corridors of the mind that seek to sway you from what you KNOW to be true, and the big magick you’re here to offer. The final eclipse in Pisces is a punctuation mark on this process, where you fully claim your rightful sense of service in the world. It is likely that the rhythms of your daily life must be reshaped to make room for this Devotional energy to come through you; when our foundations are leaky, the potency of our medicine is directly impacted. In truth, this cycle has been about reclaiming your energy, both from the outlets that drain you AND from the stories that dissuade you from fully stepping into your gifts. It is time to move in the direction of what feels most true for you, a devotional act of claiming your path and allowing life to constellate around that calling.

Now that you’ve cleared the way for clarity within, it is time to put that proclamation into action. And, more than anything – HAVE FUN with it. Notice the ways you’ve cleared space for creativity, ingenuity and discovery to return to how you orient towards your life, so full of possibility. This is sacred work, the kind that asks you to dream bigger about what you thought possible for yourself. Reclaiming creativity IS the reclamation of possibility, in that it allows you to find new keys to open new doors in your world. Allow curiosity to guide you, and keep challenging your sense of what you’re capable of in the spirit of playfulness. What else is out there for you beyond the stories of doubt, fear or shame that might be associated with your most authentic creative expression? This is the question that guides the coming cycle. There may be moments of examining how the community spaces you’ve been frequenting or the culture you’re surrounded by don’t really resonate anymore with Who you’re becoming, and the energy you’re wanting to play within. We cannot do any of this alone; feedback is required for our gifts to live inside the world. And so, being willing to courageously shift out of spaces that no longer resonate with your sense of authentic self-expression will be an important act of reclaiming your energy. And, in the wake of this, you’ll likely stumble into new spaces that resonate even MORE with the kind of community you’re calling in. It is the regeneration of communal consciousness that feeds your creative life + authentic expression. You’ll likely notice evermore clearly over the coming cycle when you’re inhabiting spaces that can’t meet you in that sense of wonder + exploration, or perhaps don’t see you clearly in Who You’re Becoming. It is important in those moments to honor yourself by kindly weaving out of spaces that don’t support the sense of authenticity you’re living into, as they can actually confuse your need to belong. When you belong fiercely to yourself first + foremost, you will find the circles that match this frequency over time. The first eclipse in Leo will be the initial dance with these themes.

Beloved Kin! This is certainly a big transition for us all. The coming eclipse axis activates our Angular houses in a big way, and will likely change the trajectory of life as we’ve known it. For the past cycle, there has been a gradual threshing of what it means to belong – which is already a complicated question for your path. To some degree, belonging has likely been forged by a sense of value in what you have to offer a community space, rather than simply being Who You Are. This is a sneaky way to secure belonging by creating a sense of dependency on your contributions to a space, rather than your presence alone being the gift itself. These patterns likely come from experiences of exile, otherness, or the internalized feeling of being the black sheep wherever you go. Unfortunately it creates a fabricated sense of belonging that becomes dependent on whether or not you feel useful to a space, and can end up trapping you in patterns of productivity or an insidious feeling of needing to earn your keep, lest you be kicked out due to insufficiency. I have so much fierce compassion for this, friend. Perhaps it has not been this literal for you; maybe it has been more of a growing sense that the communal spaces you’ve frequented no longer meet you at your depth, that the ways you’ve usually forged belonging don’t feel connective anymore. The importance has been honoring this sacred transition, and kindly weaving yourself out of spaces that no longer resonate with the path you’re walking. You are likely no stranger to that kind of renewal, as one who walks a path of many deaths + rebirths. This has been one of those threshing phases, and it has indeed been making space for new life to come in suit. As you’ve been releasing associations with spaces that no longer match your values, there has been a simultaneous shift in focus in regards what really lights you up at this point in life. There’s likely been an emergent new pathway that has re-enlivened your creative energy + curiosity, that divination tool within your chest that follows the impulses of the Muse. This has been somewhat of a renaissance, re-enchanting the poetry of your life as a way of making space for possibility. It is vital that you follow wherever this process has led you; your whole world has been changed by it, and there’s no going back. It has been, more than anything else, transformation in the name of authenticity. The final Pisces eclipse puts a punctuation on this reorientation, and allows the creative discovery to solidify a new path forward in you.

Now, as the eclipse axis awakens a new layer of growth, all of this excavation comes into question regarding your sense of purpose. It is likely that the creative discovery of the past cycle has seeded new questions regarding what you really want to be doing with your life, and the sense of higher calling your heart holds. This is an ever-important question that you will continue to return to, but something about this cycle makes it evermore immanent. There will be an intensified focus on allowing your work in the world to reflect Who You Are Now, knowing that this dynamic has inevitably changed over the last few years. Your task is in releasing old stories or expectations you’ve carried around how you expected your path to look at this point in life, so that you can actually see what’s available to you here. It is quite possible that actually taking a step back from trying to ‘figure out’ what your work is, will actually allow the space for this clarity to emerge on its own. It can be challenging to offer yourself that sabbatical, but know that a lot will be turning itself over in the periphery as you shift attention back to the basics. Focusing on creating the conditions for a stable inner world will actually facilitate the clarity of those bigger questions to emerge naturally. You may be called inwards during this cycle, to reassess the needs of your private life, and all that happens behind closed doors. Tending hearth and home is the foundation of any magickal practice, and is essential for anyone seeking to do big work in the world; without that structural integrity, the castles you seek to build will stand upon sand. Trust that this time away from the limelight will still be incredibly active, as you reassess what true leadership means in your work. Some of the most powerful elders I know give a lot of focus to their home + private life, tending the hearth and spending time away from the world to cultivate a rich inner world. This is what allows their medicine to be so strong when it’s finally carried out into the community. Trust this process of redistributing some of the focus back to yourself, your family + your root system. It’ll allow the garden you’re tending to be evermore vital.

My Friend, this past cycle has been major for you indeed. The eclipses have occurred on your angular houses over the past few years, initiating major transformation in formative areas of your life regarding path, purpose, and roots. There has likely been some serious questions you’ve had to face regarding what your work is, where you want to be in the world, and what you want to be doing. All of that, AND an underlying sense of yearning to truly belong somewhere that you can put roots down and rest. It has been about balancing a changing sense of purpose and direction, shedding old stories you’ve carried about the kind of work that feels most in alignment with Who You Are, Now – knowing that this identity formation has inevitably changed over the years. As much as that question has called your attention, there has been an even stronger sense of needing to actually root down somewhere that you CAN grow into a more aligned answer. It has asked you to take a break from trying to figure out who you are and what you’re doing with your life, the big picture questions that hold so much weight in our world. Your desired legacy has been changing, and the high standards you set for yourself regarding how your life ‘should’ look have had to be set down. This has been hard work, friend. It is all in the name of truly coming home to yourself, so you can make those decisions from a really informed, heart-level place. If you don’t feel supported at a deep internal level, the garden you’re trying to grow won’t have vital roots. And so, the reorientation of your attention over the past year has brought you back to the basics, back to the foundation of what it is that really nourishes you at a personal level. You may have naturally focused more on a sense of home, either internally or literally, which may have involved a move or transition on the homefront. As you reroot, notice what allows your nervous system + animal body to feel supported, now. This final eclipse in Pisces will be an ode to all of that transformation, that has likely been a bit destabilizing for your sense of security. Root down to grow upward, and allow all the transformation to find its settling place. Óró sé do bheatha abhaile; we welcome you home now, friend.

This shift in eclipse axis energy brings attention now to the machinations of your day-to-day, which supports all of the transformation from the past year to redistribute throughout your life. It is likely that all this commotion has also changed your sense of meaning, what it is that you value, and the inner compass you feel called to follow. Trust this process; there’s no going back. Over the coming cycle you will return to asking yourself some of the big questions that set you out on this journey in the first place, yet your inner answers to these questions might surprise you (and actually just lead to more questions). It is vital that you allow your stories about the world to change, and be changed by them. Seek out mentors or cosmologies that can help you to contextualize these big questions in a way that supports this inner transformation, and pay close attention to the stories you tell yourself that have become too rigid to inhabit. The way you do anything is the way you do everything, so allow these big changes to truly take root in the rhythms of your daily life. Incorporate journaling + reflective practices to support this transformation from the inside out, and don’t underestimate the power of language to shape your sense of reality. This is all about re-enchanting the machinations of the mundane, to open up possibilities for what lies ahead. You might be called to undertake a new course of study or learn about cosmologies that can support you in discovering new maps to navigate this changing landscape. Above all else, let yourself be reshaped by this process, and continue to allow old frameworks to fall away, as you make space for new maps to guide you. The compass will always be within your own chest, friend; follow what feels authentic, and it will guide you true. The first eclipse in Leo will set you off on a journey that you will be forever changed by.

Powerful One, this past cycle has been a major recalibration of your internal compass, in ways that have likely changed your sense direction for good. The process has been an examination of the maps you have historically used to orient yourself to the horizon, the stories you have chosen (consciously or unconsciously) to shape your sense of meaning around. As you’ve become aware of this inner scaffolding, there have been vital moments of confronting the narratives that make up the world that was handed to you when you were born, and whether or no you wish to live by those models any longer. This has likely led to more questions than answers, and a somewhat uncomfortable process of shedding old narratives to make way for a clearer sense of direction, within. When you reclaim your autonomy and no longer live by the implicit rules of the overculture, what actually guides you? This reclamation of sovereignty has been foundational, major, and inevitably changed your beliefs + stories about reality as you know it. The work has been in reshaping the machinations of your daily life to reflect these changing narratives, creating the conditions for them to take root in your world. How you do anything is how you do everything, and so it has been as important as ever to create congruency between the larger sense of purpose you have, and how you make space for that in your day to day life. This may seem oversimplifying, but there is nothing simple about re-enchanting your world. In truth, it has been the work of LIVING your medicine, and allowing the integrity of your thoughts, feelings, beliefs and speech to align with that potency. Your words are spells; what you speak into existence, is so. And more than this, the internal dialogue you carry in the stories you tell yourself about the world WILL create your experience of reality at all times. Becoming aware of this power to shape your world through this kind of intention has been the entire point, reclaiming agency over your sense of narration in it all. You’ve been creating the conditions for magick to take root in your life again. The final eclipse in Pisces is the seeding of this big medicine into the foundations you’ve built, once and for all.

Now, as this next cycle opens, it’s time to put all that magick into practice. It’s one thing to reshape the stories + beliefs you have about reality, it’s a whole other level to then Act Like It. What I mean is; the transformation you’ve moved through has opened new possibilities for your world to constellate around those changing value structures. As you’ve examined your beliefs about yourself + the world, you have likely discovered ways that you sell yourself short or even devalue the gifts you have to offer. It is time to reclaim this very fundamental sense of self-worth, friend, and see the big medicine you carry as extremely valuable to our current state of the world. As you do this, you open up more streams of abundance to reach you and life up what it is you’re here to offer. Our stories about ourselves absolutely influence how much we do (or don’t) feel worthy to receive, and so now all that excavation takes focus in regards to these dynamics around how you value yourself. This is about money, and also so much bigger than that; money is how we negotiate value in a capitalist society, but it’s extremely important not to equate our worth purely to commerce + transaction. This cycle is creating an even more deep + resounding sense of abundance in your very self-concept, that is honestly untouchable by superficial monetary paradigms. It will ask you to disentangle yourself from the ways other people have historically had influence on determining how valuable or capable you are, especially through harmful power dynamics or extraction of your gifts. This is about reclaiming sovereignty over your own sense of innate worthiness of being, so there is no doubt nor influence from others on whether or not you see yourself + your gifts as truly valuable. You may have to confront ways that you’ve internalized beliefs around lack and scarcity from past experiences, or even inherited them from your ancestors. This runs deep in most lineages, especially those who have suffered from colonization or diaspora. Your work is in claiming your place as the face of your people, and changing the trajectory of those stories in the direction of abundance. Remember this is a birthright, my friend – it does not have to be earned. Diverging from the overculture’s capitalist narratives will be important for individuating from those stories of lack, as they’re so deeply embedded in our body + psyche. The first Leo eclipse will reveal an initial layer as it relates to those inheritances, both ancestral and societal, that have seeped their way into entanglements and power dynamics with others. Be kind to yourself, and grieve what needs to be grieved in order to fully release these bonds; all of this is much more emotionally rooted than we give credit for. Notice how often you’ve given your power away to others, and how much that pattern is mirrored in our relationship to the overculture. Patriarchy is like having an abusive caretaker, and so the restoration of our agency is the biggest act of self-love.

Oh my friend, you must know it is a BIG time for you without me having to say it. I have said often that Aquarius Risings were born for these times, but that’s not to glamourize the intensity that also comes with it. It is, however, a heartening boost of courage that you are ready for whatever may come. Remember – the Universe/Creator doesn’t give you anything your Soul can’t handle; but that doesn’t mean your Ego can handle it as easily ;). I reckon this will be a dynamic that you must dance along for the year(s) to come. For starters, the past cycle has been a total reclamation of your sovereignty, a process of deeply restoring your sense of inherent worthiness of being that is NOT dependent on outside circumstances. So much of our overculture functions on harmful patterns of disempowerment, that coerce us into entanglement with power dynamics that leave us constantly submissive. The patriarchy thrives off of people believing their worth is tethered to some fabricated sense of monetary value, that their gifts are only as powerful as someone would pay for them in a marketplace. You’ve been slowly disentangling yourself from these snares, recovering an ancient + unshakeable sense of worth that comes from the sovereignty of your own blood + bones. There is ancient magick in you, that honestly makes the Patriarchy rattle in its boots. Why do you think they spend so much time trying to convince you your gifts are only worth what capitalism would bargain for? You know better than this, as do your Ancestors. You have been gradually tracing the contours of scarcity that have become embedded within your psyche from the very real lived experiences of your forebearers, due to histories of colonization + diaspora. These memories are real indeed, and live rooted in your nervous system. However, they need not determine the reality of your future. This past cycle has been about reclaiming your rightful place as the face of your Lineage, reawakening the old magick that lives within you and bringing it into the world, against all odds. It has asked you to be stubborn in the face of Empire, that seeks to convince you that your gifts are worth nothing but scraps in our world. In a world that is dominated by scientific-materialism, do you realize how radical it is to insist on making space for magick to live on, in everything? May any doubt you’ve had in this Remembrance be dissolved on the final Pisces Eclipse. You have created the conditions internally to truly become a channel for that rich, wild old medicine to pour through you, into the world. And yes, you’re allowed to thrive my friend. May you be so fucking abundant as you reclaim your autonomy, may your gifts be met with equal exuberance as the world reflects back the value of what it is you have to offer. Now, as the Eclipse axis shifts, you are asked to put all of this recognition into practice. It will inevitably reshape your entire identity, friend. You will be asked to confront the ways you have sold yourself short, made yourself small, or even diluted your medicine to ‘fit it’. This may surprise you, as the nature of walking an Aquarian path is that of being the changemaker in practice. But notice how often you have self-abandonded, especially in insidious ways, out of fear that your truest expression would be ‘too much’ for others? Please do this kindly, and understand the psychological dynamics of scarcity that lead to this kind of survival mechanism. Your task over the course of this coming cycle is to take up so much space in being so wildly yourself, that it naturally transforms the parts that fear being considered ‘too much’ for the world. It is in belonging SO wildly to your own big magick, that the need to belong to anything outside of yourself no longer becomes a determinate factor in how you’re expressing the fullness of your gifts. It is the work of Authenticity at its most fundamental level. And, naturally, as you come fully into your own center, it will illuminate the dynamics that can no longer hold your muchness in celebration. Remember that this was never about you; you are not responsible for other people’s discomfort in the face of truly authentic expression. You are likely a mirror for the ways others do not feel as courageous to step so fully into themselves, and that’s a shame. So – become the living invitation. Let your wild wyrdness activate the technicolor expression of what is possible to live into, as a way of naturally giving others the permission to do the same. YOU are the medicine, and anything else that comes through you into the world gets transmitted through this prism of authenticity, casting rainbows throughout the landscape. Expect that your entire path will change as you continue to live more + more fully into this Muchness. The first Eclipse in Leo may illuminate the ways you are playing small in your relationships, to protect others from whatever reaction they might have to true authenticity. It’s never worth it. With kindness, gently begin to expand the capacity of the nervous system in your relational field by taking up more space, and inviting others to join you. Those that can (and want to) will follow suit, and those that aren’t ready will be held in loving awareness as you choose to no longer sacrifice your light to keep them comfortable. Everyone will learn something vital in the wake of this, when navigated with fierce compassion. Your medicine is not for everyone, and that is the most liberating reminder you can offer yourself throughout this cycle.

Dear heart, the time has come for you to rest. This past cycle was major for you, a true rebirth in every sense of the word. You have likely shed multiple skins, transformed your self-concept over + over again, and somehow lived to tell the tale. This has been a process of regeneration to the very core of your identity, and has likely changed the entire trajectory of your life path unfolding. As within, so without – as the basis of your selfhood takes on a new level of authenticity, so your life must follow suit. At times you likely felt unfamiliar even to yourself, perhaps seeing a reflection in the mirror that did not exactly reflect how you felt inside. This liminal state has been vital for self-making, as it forced you to confront the incongruencies between your inner + outer life. Relationships that formerly felt supportive might’ve become something different, no longer supporting you in the depths of transformation that your interior experience was navigating. You may have chosen to weave out of relationships that weren’t able or willing to keep up with your growth, or simply no longer felt nourishing to your heart. Remember that this is often not about you whatsoever; other people can feel challenged by change, especially when a relationship was built upon an outdated sense of self. The most important part of this process has been giving yourself permission to Be Yourself, even if that meant other people wouldn’t fully understand or be willing to meet you there. And, you might’ve also discovered relationships that can support you in this new phase of becoming; it is all a continuum, as you know. Trust the regeneration and allow for the changes underway to take root. Consider all that you’ve learned, all that you’ve outgrown, and all that you’re growing into. It is butterfly medicine indeed, dear one. I would guess that this has also been extremely emotional, as dying unto oneself can be. And yet, what has been born in the wake of this renewal? What new parts of yourself have you met, that were previously hidden from view? What new shapes will you take as you forge onwards, and how will your direction in life change? This all might feel very big right now, or you might just be freaking exhausted. All of that is valid. And, it is not time to try to figure anything out. The final Eclipse in Pisces is a testament to all that has been transformed, within + without, as you give yourself permission to step fully into Who You Are Becoming.

As the Eclipse axis changes, it is time to give space for all of this to gently find its settling place. We know that the longest phase of the Caterpillar is the time spent in Chrysalis form, before breaking out with wings and an entirely new sense of self. The butterfly phase is indeed on the horizon, but first – you must rest and let this process do its work on you. If you feel called to pull away from the activity of the outside world and spend time in solitude, trust this. Remember that the Cocoon phase is still incredibly active, even if that stirring isn’t super visible to the outer world. The best thing you can do right now is give yourself permission to follow that impulse, go within and allow the rest phase to work its magick. Recovery is just as important as activity, especially when it comes to the big work of self-making. There are dreams, visions + goals for your future burgeoning within; you must give them their rightful incubation period to constellate fully. And, taking this time to lean into the support of your spiritual life and practices can be incredibly fortifying for what your own soul is experiencing. Our materialist world has forgotten how much depth + richness comes from this kind of Cave Space, where the spirits and guides that walk with us can provide invaluable council. They are waiting for you friend, ready to commune and support you in the clarity of this process. Give them an altar or a spirit house to take root in your life, so their support can be more immanent as you navigate these numinous waters. Rest often, sleep more if possible; lots is happening behind the scenes. You might need to restructure your daily rhythms to make space for this capacity, and allow for slowness to work its magick. Beyond all else, take care of your animal body as the temple for the soul, as it’s likely holding so much for you. Your body might even be more vocal about its needs in this phase, especially in regards to energy + physical capacity. The first eclipse in Leo might give you a taste of this, and indicate what parts of the body specifically are holding a lot of this energetic transformation. Listen to it speak as a whisper, so it doesn’t need to yell. Rest well kin, I’m so excited to see the color of your wings on the other side of this transformation.

Beloved ones, I am overjoyed to FINALLY have a moment to sit down and write! I have been eagerly waiting for weeks to find the time to bring forward some Eclipse Season Activations for the Rising Signs. At long last, as the evening rains rolled in, that moment appeared.

I am not going to give much preamble hear; if you want to hear me yap more in depth about what this coming Eclipse season holds, you can listen to the recent podcast episode. We are initiating a new cycle on the Leo/Aquarius axis, the first eclipse here in 8 years. We are also formally closing out the eclipse cycle on the Virgo/Pisces axis that we’ve been dancing with since 2024, so the transition moment is real. A swinging door, time beyond time opens to reveal its teachings yet again.

Eclipses work in spiral time; we are meant to be flip-turned upside down, with past patterns returning to be excavated in new ways. There is no arrival, only continuous becoming. Do not take anything at face value, and do not think that just because old business is returning that you are being punished for it. These are no punishing Gods; they are teachers, elders, careful guides into our own self-undoing. What waits at the end of the unraveling is often deeper self-awareness; how generous.

Our first eclipse occurs on August 12th at 1:45pm EST, a Solar Eclipse in Leo.

The moon passes between Earth + Sun, occluding the light for a brief moment. This will be visible on Turtle Island, and I do not recommend going outside to see it. I recommend meditation, veiling your head, and staying present so that your senses remain sharp. In the Vedic tradition, the switching off of the lights is seen as inauspicious, and so that is my personal observance. Do what you will, you are a free agent too.

The second Eclipse of the season will be on August 28th at 12:12am EST, a midnight moon; a Lunar Eclipse in Pisces. This will be the grand finale on that axis, and although the nodes will be in Leo/Aquarius, they are within orb of the luminaries to create a partial eclipse, as the Earth passes between Sun + Moon. Again, I don’t recommend ritual or spellcraft for manifesting anything during these times. Cleansing, protection + reflection is encouraged. Don’t sign any contracts if you can help it.

The activations below will be a brief synopsis of the themes we are closing out on the Virgo/Pisces axis, and heading into on the Leo/Aquarius axis. Read for your Rising Sign, as this follows whole sign house interpretations.

Powerful one, the past eclipse cycle has brought you back into balance with your inner and outer life, potentially by pushing you to extremes. It is likely you’ve reinstated a relationship with this animal body and its sacred limitations, and been forced to reckon with the ways that pushing yourself beyond your limits leads to an even greater fallout. At times it might’ve felt like a boat you could not seem to stabilize, rocked by continuous unexpected twists and turns from the forces of life. All the while, you have been learning how to find your center; tracing the contours of those inner boundaries by noticing where the edges are in real time practice. As much as capitalism might try to tell us otherwise, this body is not a machine, and requires just as much rest as it does activity. As a Mars-ruled person, that go-power is usually easy to come by; but the circumstances of this last cycle likely showed you the other side of that spectrum, on purpose. If you were out of practice with honoring rest, you can likely hear those signals more clearly now than you could before. This recovered sensitivity does ask you to change your patterns in regards to how you balance work + play/rest, so take this moment to honor the insights gleaned about what that homeostasis looks like in practice, now. The final Eclipse in Pisces on August 28th will be a way to offer some closure to the past cycle of your life where all those old patterns live, so you can finally give yourself a fresh start. Remember that Rest is not passive; there is so much happening beneath the surface that we can honor when productivity isn’t synonymous with outward activity.

Now, as the nodes shift into Leo/Aquarius, you’re being pulled out of the cave into participation. If this past cycle has taught you how to resource yourself, this next one allows you to express those merits accordingly. It is very a much a ‘get out there, kid!’ kind of vibe. I reckon your cave time was anything but passive; what visions were revealed to you in its depths? What creative genius burgeons within, fed by the nourishment of your rest cycle? Now is the time to bring those gems out into the light. Your community needs them; they have been waiting for the exact gifts you’re here to steward. If you don’t know where to start, seek out communal spaces that can serve as vibrant think-tanks for your ideas to flourish. A vision is like a child; it requires many hands to truly grow. This next cycle is about bringing your seeds into the garden, and allowing those that you trust to help water them. Seek spaces that challenge you, as well; it is likely that helpful collaborators will be able to illuminate the blind spots that you couldn’t have seen without other eyes.

A dream is meant to be shared with the community; it is not just for you, but rather for those that you are in kinship with. This is just the beginning of bringing that brilliance into the light. There may be moments of doubt, shame or fear that bubble up; take this as a good sign. So much of our world has forced us to discredit the genius of our creative power, because it’s a direct threat to Empire. Trust those in your community to lift you up in the stewardship of your visions, AND be able to point out where those ideas could engage directly with the much-needed cultural work of our times. The Solar Eclipse in Leo will ask you to gently confront the ways you have blocked your creative channel from flowing, in the name of all the dreams you’re being asked to steward. Trust that your gifts are needed here on the planet, more than you could ever know, especially in these times. Notice where shame or doubt has blocked this light from naturally entering the world thru the unique prism of your own brilliance.

Dear heart, the past cycle of eclipses has asked you to share your genius with the world in ways that may have felt daunting and uncomfortable. The gifts that you’ve been asked to steward are not yours alone; they are offerings to your community, and you knew this all along. What a task, to be the humble steward of such big magick. So much bigger than you, and yet, perfectly elected to come through YOUR voice into the wide web of relations. It is the spirit of the story that chooses the teller accordingly, in order to reach the exact ears it is meant to fall upon. You have been a powerful participant in awakening something within our culture that has long been asleep, dormant, waiting. This has been a dance, a collaboration with unseen hands, weaving you into the perfect configuration to transmit your gifts in a way that reaches those ready to receive it. You have not been a passive agent in this whatsoever; the medicine has been just as much a fertilizer for your own gifts to grow in suit. This undertaking has likely asked you to overcome patterns of perfectionism or doubt that block your own creative channel from flowing freely. Notice the ways you have nearly stopped yourself from sharing or participating in what you KNEW was yours to steward? I reckon there has been just as much of an unshakeable knowing in your contribution, as there has been the boomerang of doubt or fear that accompanies it. Kindness to this, friend. Those are the growing pains of expanding your capacity to hold the bigness of the medicine you’re here to offer. Take a moment to acknowledge all that you’ve grown into over the past years. I’m certain you deserve a much-needed pat on the back for all that you’ve stewarded, all that you’ve offered your community + kin. May that hard work pay off as you enter this next cycle, tenfold.

Now come the merits of your efforts, and an ever greater invitation to challenge the growth edges associated with receiving recognition for your gifts. I have many beloved Taurus Risings in my life, and living for the limelight doesn’t seem to be in your nature. You walk the humble path, one that works hard for what you believe in without needing the validation of applause. I respect this. And, I see the ways that our LOUD performative culture can easily overshadow this kind of quiet, embodied power. With kindness; how much does this dynamic mirror experiences from your childhood, where your gifts were pushed to the margins in the presence of more extroverted personalities? I guarantee your understanding of stewardship has changed in a direction that feels more authentic to the compass in your chest. Perhaps you’ve even begun to receive recognition for this sense of alignment, a good sign of feedback from the world around you that your gifts are awakening the medicine they’re meant to, within + without. This cycle has likely asked you to confront the ways you’ve historically sold yourself short, or worse – talked yourself out of the big visions you’re here to steward due to doubt or fear. Standards of perfectionism planted in you from a very young age may have become barriers to your own sense of creative agency, to the point where you could no longer here the voice of the muse as she whispered to you about your true calling. The Eclipses on the Virgo/Pisces axis have gently removed the barriers to this current of grace, and now that the waters of inspiration are flowing again, you have so much to offer the world! It’s about damn time! The final Eclipse in Pisces is a testament to this renaissance, and an opportunity to take one last look at all the stories that have occluded your sense of faith in your own genius. There may have been some serious ancestral inheritances that stood in the way, out of fear or scarcity. Kindly remind your fearful Ancestors that you are now living into a new story, and that the past does not have to repeat itself. The future of the Lineage changes through you, into a more technicolor, enchanted direction. This is living beyond fear + doubt in real time, as an Ancestor yourself. The current state of affairs requires some serious excavation as it relates to cultural repair, and transforming the systems that brought us here. Roll up your sleeves, strap on your sturdiest boots and be prepared for a journey that will likely guide you back to the truth of yourself. Be weary of anyone who claims to have the answers; the true teacher often guides you back to your own inner knowing. The maps of spiritual traditions simply provide the scaffolding for this transformation to occur from the inside out. Follow curiosity, and remember that the journey itself IS the teacher. The Solar Eclipse in Leo will bring awareness to the machinations of your own meaning-making faculties, the stories you have historically told yourself about how the world works. This is where you put all those new realizations into practice, and experience how they interface with the deepest parts of you. It’s all well and good to feel expanded by a fresh perspective, but until that has touched the parts of us that hold our grief, our ache, our fear, it will not be truly embodied. This next cycle brings you into your depth, in a process all too familiar for your Lunar self. There is nothing to fear here, but fear itself. Now comes the work of being transformed from the inside out, and allowing all those big visions to actually integrate within your embodied reality. To allow the complexity of being human to change you, and make all those realizations anchored in something you can sink your teeth into. You must be with your ache, your desire, your rage and your doubt in new ways. Recognize that your own process is an ode to that of the collective; none of these feelings are truly as ‘individualized’ as they may seem. And yet, there may be a temptation to depersonalize your own experience, out of the sheer muchness that it entails. Try your best to stay connected to your heart, and frequent the practices that help you process this bigness accordingly. Catharsis is sacred. It is the work of coming home to yourself.

With kindness, it is likely you may find exiled parts that have long awaited your return, unintentionally cut off from the flow of love + worthiness of being that they so deserve. This is potentially what has been the wedge in the spoke of your sense of momentum, to effortlessly move towards your dreams. If you don’t feel as though your gifts are truly worth recognition, you will continue to hide yourself from that light. This is about reclaiming your voice, welcoming those exiled parts home, and reveling in the dignity of your own becoming. You have so much to offer the world. And if those exiled parts aren’t tended, you may very well be functioning from spite or compensation for feelings of low self esteem. Let it be a holy homecoming, one that does not need to be earned nor validated by external forces, as you resource that sense of coherence from within. The work of soul retrieval is messy, sacred, and vital. Welcome yourself Home and claim your rightful seat within the heart; whatever you create from this place will be worth more than money or validation could ever bargain for. This is a redefinition of value that comes from within, first + foremost. The first eclipse in Leo will be your initial dance with these themes.

Dear heart, for the past eclipse cycle you have made the sacred journey through the Underworld and back again. It has been a process of integration, confrontation, and hopefully liberation as it relates to the parts of you yearning to be loved. There is magick deep within you, that can only be fully accessed when you have spent time in the depths of the cavernous terrain of your own inner world. Here, like a time capsule, lives all the impressions from life experiences that have carved their name into your own heart. These moments are what have shaped you, whether or not you’re aware of it. Over the past couple years, you have taken a lantern and delved within the hallways of the heart, exploring corridors that hold your grief, unprocessed emotion, or past experiences as it relates to your entanglement with others. Yes, that includes intimate partners, but it can also be much bigger than just your own; the ancestral implications of this space mirror patterns that repeat across generations, until they’re tended accordingly. Now begins a cycle that will inevitably change the ways you view yourself, and thus, how you engage with all your relations. All of that soul-level excavation was never in vain; it was a preparation. As you come fully home to your own muchness, you begin to shed the stories that you’ve outgrown like old snakeshins. This process might feel uncomfortable at first, like you don’t quite fit in your own body, taking on new forms yet unfamiliar to you. Stay with it, squirm as much as you need to – and allow the beloveds in your life to be sacred mirrors for reflecting back the truth of your light. This cycle is about embodying authenticity as fully as possible, which most likely just means removing the stories you carry about yourself that have become a barrier to this light shining clearly. Old identities + narratives you’ve taken on, possibly as protection mechanisms from past experiences, will likely emerge to be seen + released with compassion. If there are any parts of yourself that you have hidden due to shame or fear of being ‘too much’, now is the time to bring them back into the fold of your own heart.

The first eclipse in Leo will be the first layer of this shedding process, peeled back to reveal just how much is underneath the surface, waiting to emerge. Expect to be changed by it. And moreso, expect to encounter new people that can match your energy. Individuals may come into your life as catalysts to call this authenticity forward, and challenge the ways you’re staying hidden. If you’ve been seeking partnership or new collaborators in life and love, this eclipse cycle will certainly bring forth that curriculum. That also means having to confront old relational patterns that have gotten stuck in your system, obstructing the natural flow of connection that you truly crave. Be gentle with yourself, and try to see the wisdom of the interactions at play. If you notice yourself resorting to prideful reactivity, or shameful shrinking, take a moment to find your center. It’s all part of the process. Right-sized dignity with all your relations is always the medicine. This cycle is truly trying to bring you into alignment with the beloveds that are here to support this next phase of becoming, which also might require your own unbecoming. Allow yourself to change and be changed by the relational field as it brings this animate wisdom through your life.

Beloved one, you are coming out of quite a major cycle of self-undoing and radical reformation. Over the course of this, you have likely realized just how malleable your identity truly is; everchanging and changed by those you interact with, both seen + unseen. There has been an utter re-enchantment of your relational field, which has also asked you to shed some very outworn narratives about ‘Who You Are’ and how you define this sense of selfhood. These stories live in your body, and inform the shapes you take in the relational field, especially who you’re open to sharing connection with. Many of those stories are adaptive mechanisms, meant to protect some former version of yourself that needed certain barriers to feel safe. And yet, you have outgrown some of those patterns, opening yourself to new ways of relating in every sense. Whether this be with new friends or beloveds of many forms, this past cycle has changed you from the inside out, and thus from the outside in. As you continued to shed old stories that no longer fit the shape your wild self was longing to express, you also opened yourself up to new thresholds of experience with those around you. This likely felt like dying at certain moments, because indeed it was a kind of death. Our identity is an amalgamation of stories that we tell ourselves about who we are, and thus how we’re capable of moving through the world; when those stories lose energy and we disidentify from them, they perish. Notice the skins you’ve shed, and make a holy nest to honor the remnants of a past self that literally gave birth to this one. Notice how much space you’ve created in your own experience, the freedom to shapeshift, to begin anew! The once rigid stories + patterns you clung to have now opened way for spaciousness and connection, with new collaborators in every sense. This final pisces eclipse is a testament to this next chapter unfolding!

As the eclipse axis shifts into Leo/Aquarius, the merits of this transformation are put into practice. There is a psychological excavation that continues, while you begin to reconsider what it is you really want to offer to the world. Clearing out the old stories to make way for the new, your work in the world is changing in direct response to this renewed sense of collaboration. The realization that we can go farther, together, and that interdependence allows for an even richer sense of benefit for all involved. There is big energy and even bigger vision brewing, one that will ask you to temper your impulses to do it all at once. Finding right pace and moving at the speed of your animal body is VITAL. With goals so big, it is even more possible to burnout if you don’t find ways to organize your energy accordingly. Think of it as creating the infrastructure in your day to day to gently titrate the bigness of this vision coming through your channel; your circuits need to be ready to run that energy, so you don’t get blown out. Tending to yourself through rituals that nourish mind, body + spirit are as important as ever, while also knowing when to act + when to rest. This is actually creating the conditions to become a channel for dreams to take root and use you as their steward.

Do not underestimate the importance of this cycle; it is the beginning of an entirely new stage of life ahead of you, redefining your sense of work in the world. It is much bigger than you can see from here; if the full picture was revealed all at once, you’d likely get overwhelmed. Take it day by day, and attend to any parts that might let doubt creep in when it comes to actually sharing your gifts + visions with the world. So much will be going on behind the scenes, but it makes it all the more possible for fear to creep in. If visibility spooks you, consider moving at the pace of the parts that are afraid to be seen in the vulnerability of sharing yourself with the world in new ways. Remember that the dream you’re stewarding was never ‘just about you’; it is one you’ve been tasked with being the caretaker of, as an offering to the world. Let this be a reminder to fall back on, that you’re wildly supported in this, and that so many beloveds are cheering you on, seen + unseen.

Beloved Ones ~ I hope you are faring well out there, all things considered. There is no doubt we are living in exceptional times. I wanted to offer another look at the Month Ahead, from both an astrological and divinatory perspective. Safe to say I was quite surprised what came through the divination, as so much of my experience has been coloured by overwhelm as of late.

This tension felt like part of the message that came through; the nature of your vantage point at any given moment will colour your entire experience. I know this in theory, but in practice it’s much harder to recognize the specific lenses and filters we’re looking through until Life shows you contrast.

This, I feel, will be a necessary tool for the month to come, especially as we enter Eclipse season. Asking our guides + allies to help us see what lies within the Blind Spot, illuminating the periphery of our awareness. That which is just out of view holds so much power, influence, and fertile potential for transformation. We’re not always supposed to see the full picture, but having perspective shifts is always a good way to be more integrated in our view.

Other themes that came up surprisingly had a lot to do with Joy, creativity, and playfulness. The inner child has certainly entered the chat since the South Node + Jupiter entered Leo, and I feel this will carry into the first Eclipse next week in potentially big ways. Shame, exile, and self-acceptance seem to be huge themes. The recovery of healthy Self-Esteem as a form of soul retrieval and inner child healing, so that we don’t take ourselves too seriously. The trickster may just make an appearance to bring that sacred contrast as a reminder to balance our Walk.

The Aquarius Full Moon peaks at 10:34am EST on Wednesday, July 29th.

This is the last Lunation before we enter eclipse season, and it just so happens to be occurring on the same axis that the North + South node just entered on Sunday eve. This Aquarius Full Moon may not be an eclipse, but it certainly does bring the potency that might feel similar to one.

Namely because the Moon will be conjunct Pluto in Aquarius, reflecting the light of the Sun in Cazimi with Jupiter!

This is exceptional Astrology, especially considering the recent impact of Barbault’s basket in the fold of this Lunation. It feels like a punctuation mark, a commanding attention to whatever themes are present in the Leo/Aquarius axis — amidst all the other action occuring in the Air + Fire houses already.

If your rising sign is Fixed (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, Aquarius) this next cycle is especially potent for your path, as the axis activates your chart angles. If you have major placements in the Fixed signs, or the early degrees of Air + Fire signs, a deep bow to you. There is something getting activated that asks for your participation, like a call to the front line. May you be courageous, cunning, and dedicated in your action.

I will hopefully share some rising sign activations for Eclipse season in the coming week, but until then I HIGHLY recommend taking this Full Moon in Aquarius as a opportunity to prepare for the work ahead. To get clear, aligned, centered in ourselves. I have the distinct feeling that the sense that “we were born for these times” will be a helpful reminder to carry with us.

Beloveds! Have you heard the news!? It’s a bird, it’s a plane — no! It’s Barbault’s Basket! (Which I have jokingly referred to as Barbault’s coffin in the title because I thought it was a silly and somewhat true correspondence)!

To be honest with you friends, I’m not so interested in surgically examining the exact aspects of this configuration. As I sense the energy in the collective field and lean back into my Ancestors, there’s a real sense of a need to FEEL our way through this, rather than think or intellectualize. So much of what’s happening is subliminal; tectonic plates shifting beneath our feet, our animal bodies sensing the undercurrents of change emerging. The sense has been; stay present, curious, open — and try not to collapse into the stress of so much energy flooding the collective at once.

Against vignettes of smoky skies and ecological disruption, I cannot help but feel like the impacts of this Astrology are occurring right before our very eyes. The invitation is not to look at all the Fire in the skies and on Earth to say “well, I guess this is how it is”, but to allow those conditions to mobilize us into more conscious participation. What is our responsibility amidst all of this, as Ancestors ourselves? Perhaps that is just my own daily locus of curiosity, but I can’t help but feel like the true change must first occur within, for any of its impacts to be expressed outside of us, too.

My own personal take: Feel your F*cking Feelings.

Let yourself actually be moved by this moment. Do not go numb in the overwhelm. Disassociating on instagram due to the overwhelm of ecological grief is not going to be very helpful. Most importantly, find ways to effectively channel all the BIG emotion that is most likely moving through your animal body into something that can help it transform. The only way is through.

Beloved Ones, hello. Each week I sit down it feels like lifetimes have passed since last writing to you. I hope you are faring well out there, genuinely. Wrapped inside this little care package is a ritual + tarot spread to support your New Moon renewal.

This New Moon is curious; the luminaries will converge at 21* of Cancer, not exactly aspecting anyone else. Mercury Rx will have just passed over the Sun, so we revel in the afterglow of the Cazimi with this Lunation. It feels like a breath, the space between inhale + exhale. An opportunity to clear something.

This week also brings the opening aspects of Barbault’s Basket, the configuration of outer planets that hasn’t happened for hundreds of years. The planets involved are all in Air + Fire signs, so the theme of ignition continues to amplify. What does wind do to fire? It fuels the flame.

The French Astrologer (André Barbault) who identified this configuration predicted that it will be the impetus for massive international change. So we can only hope; our work is in becoming the active participant in this process.

I have felt more so recently, that in order to become such an agent of change myself, I must do the work of releasing old models about myself and the world that actually serve as barriers to true participation. The old stories, the wrought patterns, all that inhibits my ability to actually respond to The Call. I feel this Cancer New Moon is a moment to do exactly this; clear the path from within.

Hello beloveds. How we doin out there? Each day has felt like a lifetime, which is usually a sign of some serious tectonic plates shifting in time/space reality. Lots of change underfoot, a constant tide to swim amidst. This doesn’t necessarily have to be a bad nor stressful thing, but of course it all depends on how we choose to relate to it. I’m taking notes on that daily.

As I sat down to record the podcast this week, there was a really clear sense that I needed to zoom out and see beyond the Astrology itself. To get the whole picture, I ended up doing a lot of divination and this reading is the result of that. Lots of helpful messages came through that were good medicine for me to take in, and I’m hopeful they are for you too.

The first 2/3 of the podcast is mainly divinatory messages, and the latter third is the astrology of the week ahead. At a high level; Neptune stations retrograde, Venus enters Virgo and immediately passes over the South Node who is currently conjunct the Fixed Star Regulus. Lots of power there.

Beloved one, the boon bringer is dialing it up a notch and I am vicariously excited for all that awaits you! For the past year, Jupiter has been amplifying the reach of your long-term vision, urging you to dream BIGGER and want even more for yourself. The question of ‘how good can it get?’ served as an orienting spell, and likely challenged the ways you have historically played small or gave into other people’s stories of scarcity. As with any exaltation, Jove might’ve conflated visions of grandeur into proportions that weren’t necessarily grounded in your capacity, but not every dream is meant to be realized; some are simply meant to help you learn more about what it really is that you desire. It is time to begin to realize these visions into reality my friend, and tap into the pulsing web of relations that can support you in doing so. As Jove enters your house of Good Spirit, you are indeed afforded the attention and support of the many benevolent forces that work to CONSPIRE in your favor. Trust this. It is a safety net, encouraging you to take a courageous leap towards your wildest dreams. This is one of the most jubilant places for Jupiter to be, finding its planetary joy in full, unbridled generosity. Pay attention to the unseen hands that are weaving threads of karma together in such stunning alignment, bringing the right connections, opportunities, and people your way. Do not underestimate the power of following those breadcrumbs; Jove speaks through the language of synchronicity. The challenge will be do not get ahead of yourself, and tend the feelings of inferiority or unworthiness that might sneak up on you. ❤️‍🔥 SCORPIO RISING: 9th → 10th house ❤️‍🔥

Kindred one, the time has come for you to dock your ship and share your findings with the world. For the past year, Jupiter has expanded your horizons in every possible sense, inviting you to follow the thread of discovery with the divinatory tool of your gut instinct. It has led you true, and likely allowed you to uncover ancient wells of wisdom that were waiting to be embraced by your genius. This has been a journey whose origins started with the stirring of the soul, a call that came from some unseen source, urging you to follow it to the ends of the Earth and back again. This might’ve taken you on literal adventures through travel, but it has more likely been a process of recovering the Living Memory that lives within lineage. Traditions are alive, pulsing with intelligence like a livewire. When we engage with them, we are coming into direct contact with a lineage of Ancestors that have stewarded teachings since time immemorial. Jove has made you their humble student by some form, an initiation you may not have expected. And yet, here you are, being asked to steward these teachings in your work + world in new ways. When the student is truly ready, the teacher disappears.

As Jupiter enters your tenth house, you are asked to stand upon the foundation you’ve been building for ages, and take up the mantle that is being handed to you. To become the face of lineage, you must agree to steward your own gifts as a unique prism through which this current can run through, and enter the world unobstructed. The work of the leader is mostly in getting out of the way, tending insecurity so that the force of their channel does not buckle under the weight of responsibility. More than that, trusting yourself, your voice, your vision to lead the way. You must be willing to become a beacon, and believe that your contribution is worth sharing. Jupiter will call forward the parts of you that doubt your capacity to lead, in order to clear the mirror of your heart to shine proud and true. Beware the insidious machinations of shame that burrow into your psyche, the voice that causes you to waver in your stance. There is a fine line between right-sized dignity and arrogance; the latter usually comes from unintegrated shadows of self-doubt or insecurity. This next year is about navigating your sense of healthy pride, that allows you to take up space without burning out nor giving way to unhealthy dynamics of power. This is a tall order, friend; every Scorpio Rising holds the task of a Leo 10th house, on purpose. Your own psyche becomes the crucible where the shadows of shame await to be alchemized, so you may LEAD BY EXAMPLE.

Ahh, the sweet song of dawn breaking after a long night. The word for this next year is EMERGENCE, soaring one! As Jupiter closes out a year-long journey through the bellows of your psyche, this benevolent elder has softened something in its wake. Perhaps the voices within your own interiority have grown kinder, more compassionate and understanding of your own humility. Perhaps there has been somewhat of a psychic purge, the waterways running clearer from generations of pent up emotion finally being released. The body is a time capsule, a memory keeper of sorts; there is as much beauty as there is grief in this reality. Jupiter has brought a soothing lullaby, a balm to ease the tenderness of so many Ancestors’ unprocessed experiences living in your own body. My prayer is that this has opened you up to the possibility of healing through developing trust in yourself, and your relations. In allowing the waters to flow, we also make space for deeper intimacy with life. Every octave of our reality becomes more crystallized after a good cry; our senses amplified, the world in technicolor. Can you feel your heart beating even a little more clearly? That is a sign of this immanence. May the impacts of this past year continue to integrate slow and steady, allowing for gentle transformation at the deepest levels of your psyche.

Now, as Jupiter moves from a dark house into the light, there is a stirring in your chest that calls you forth into unexplored territory. The hero’s journey begins with the heart, and at times only ever deepens into exploring its topography. The world becomes a mirror, reflecting back the deepest yearnings of your own heart like some game of hide + seek. Follow the thread; you are ready to see where it takes you. Your own heart is the compass, remember this! The inquiry, again + again; “what do I truly desire?”. The answer will look like even more questions, until suddenly you realize it is all part of the dance. A call and response between yourself and the larger intelligence of creative will. It was never about the destination; this journey is meant to show you what it really is that you long for. What will you do with this one precious life, my friend? This question might take you to the ends of the Earth, or simply to new territory unexplored in regards to study. As the planetary ancestors rearrange themselves, we are thrust into recalibration from the inside out. The image of the Hanged Man, laughing at the cosmic joke of his own undoing; this is the hidden key. You can do it like it’s a great weight, or you can do it like it’s part of the dance…

Jupiter has finally entered Leo, ushering us into a whole new growth spurt for the year to come. The moment of ingress is always so full of life, like a pulsing wave breaking at the shore; a surge of energy from the accumulated merit of the past Zodiacal territory, bringing all those blessings into an entirely new form + expression. This is especially true for Jupiter, who has spent the last year gathering up the boons of exaltation in Cancer, now preparing to anchor that generative energy into the heart of Leo; thus into the heart of the world.

Where Cardinal signs bring forth the initiatory energy of new cycles, the fixed signs receive all of that substance and dive into the heart of its expression. As Jupiter moves from Cancer into Leo, I am pondering the gifts of these Summer signs, the ones that teach us of Creative energy and the generative expression of our Will. In truth, these Zodiac teach us how to make best use of the nature of our life force, this precious, creative energy that we’ve been gifted to channel through these bodies.

This is about giving birth to a world and learning how to sustain its life, how to feed its spirit; a fire that will never go out. Leo rules the heart, and Jupiter graces us will all forms of expansion. And so the question stands; what is it like to live with a heart on fire? How does this energy want to be expressed, as Evidence of Life in its most essential form? What gives you reason for being, chest held high to greet the dawn? What will you do with this one precious life?

Generative, generous; from Proto-Indo-European; ǵenh ~ to give birth

Latin; from root genus ~ origin, race, kind or family; KIN!

If I have learned one thing from Leo energy, it is the true gift of what it means to be the only sign ruled by the Sun. The heart of our solar system, that which illuminates, that force which all Life on Earth depends upon. The true essence of GENEROSITY. A fire that will never quit, that insists on LIVING. The courage to Rise, again and again. Evidence of Life in its truest form.

This generosity is meant to be shared. The shadow of Leo is so often characterized by a light being inverted inwards, needing validation like a hungry ghost. Yet this is more the mechanics of shame at play. In truth, Leo’s generosity is like the Sun itself; a living invitation to RISE. Leo reminds us again + again that there is room for everyone, and that embodying our own gifts in full authenticity is an invitation for others to do the same. Competition comes from scarcity, the belief that there is not enough space + resource for everyone to thrive. Notice how fitting it is for Chiron to be in Taurus at the same time, squaring Jupiter through this transit? <3

The reality with Jupiter, is that there will always be abundance as much as there will be excess. We will be asked to balance and integrate the gifts of Leo as much as its shadow in the collective psyche. A Strong Light casts an even heavier contrast in shadow; this is the work of optics + illumination. My sense is that Jupiter in Leo will ask us to examine the dynamics of Power as they live within our bodies and the Collective Psyche.

This brings forth elements of healthy pride versus arrogance, transforming our shame to embody a right-sized source of DIGNITY.

Shame thrives in exile; the parts of us that have been made to feel unworthy of love become some of the most powerful sources of psychological inversion within our internal ecology. The compensation for feeling small is that some other parts of us conflate into grandeur as a form of protection, and suddenly our inner world becomes a funhouse of warped proportions. When POWER comes into contact with this imbalanced psychological terrain, we are more likely to make decisions on behalf of the hungry ghosts within. This is where Pridefulness becomes stubborn, defensive, unyielding. Behaviors of leveraging power, extraction, and at times moving in deceitful ways are what shame feeds off of, in order to compensate for a feeling of unworthiness at a deep, fundamental level.

I am very cognizant of how the optics in our current culture have exaggerated this funhouse. Social Media has totally amplified the dynamics of visibility, performance, and the holographic nature it creates in our own sense of worthiness. We have exchanged dignity for validation, generosity for extraction. If we wish to learn how to wield the true power of Leo’s generative capacities, we must first rebuild our relationship to the nature of Power itself. Shining light into our own shadows and welcoming the exiled parts back home is, in my opinion, the first place to start. It might sound silly, but it is inevitably a good time to consider tending the inner child, and weaving back in the parts of us that went into hiding long ago at the risk of being deemed unlovable.

The brilliant social survival mechanisms of our younger self cannot be underestimated here. From birth, we shape our entire identity around the data we collect throughout our life, based on what expressions of selfhood were deemed acceptable by our surrounding communities. It is a tribal impulse to belong. The sacrifice, however, is that any facet of true authenticity which receives harsh criticism or negative feedback becomes something that we cast into the shadows of our own psyche. Yet those parts of us do not die off; they become something else. Evidence of our natural expression that are dangerous to embody, lest we risk getting exiled by the tribe once again. And so the policing optics are directed inwards at ourselves; we make damn sure that we only express the facets of identity that will ensure belonging. We trade authenticity for performance, and all secretly take part in this theatre of the absurd.

THIS is where the real Courage of Leo comes in. Coeur-age; Heart Work. It is entirely brave, my friend, to embody the true expression of the Self. As the only sign ruled by the Sun, this is signaling the light of the soul that yearns to shine through the prism of our identity. The ego itself is constellated by a conglomeration of stories, social survival mechanisms and adaptive strategies that we, consciously or unconsciously, have chosen to identify with. The unfortunate truth is that many of these identifications begin to obstruct the natural emanation of the True Self, thus cutting us off from the intrinsic vitality and creative brilliance that seeks to pour through us, into the world. We were born to be prisms of this light, the Ego a part of this play, casting technicolor patterns across the walls of Creation. And so the work of shining the mirror of the Heart is in becoming transparent, until that Light of the Soul can shine through us brilliantly and unobstructed.

Here’s a little Declaration of Power for your Rising Sign, may it be a homecoming…

❤️‍🔥 ARIES RISING: 4th → 5th house ❤️‍🔥

For the past year, Jupiter has been humming a lullaby into the waters that brought you into this world, soothing the seas of your origins. The tree that holds the memory of your Ancestry was singing an ancient song, in order to finally quench the thirst of withered roots. There were likely stories of care left unfinished in your earliest years, that were longing for a way to finally make a home in the world. You have been building that nest, with the help of Jove’s gentle guidance. I reckon there was just as much healing as there was necessary confrontation, to scoop your younger self up into your OWN loving arms and tell them everything they’ve ever needed to hear in order to feel safe inhabiting your fullness. You know better than ever that Home is not a place; it’s a feeling that carries you wherever you may roam. This cycle has invited you to pick up the mantle of the gifts you steward as an Ancestor yourself, the proud face of your own lineages. There has likely been a need for some discernment as to which gifts you’re meant to carry onwards, as the whole council of your Ancestors floods in with excitable encouragement. Every descendent is the chosen one, of some sacred gift to steward. Jupiter has helped ease the waters enough for you to begin to clarify which is yours to own + hone in this lifetime, with the support of your people at your back. Remember, your own healing is your Ancestors’ healing, your JOY, theirs to share in. You are an echo, a ripple through a river that leads back to the sea. Beloved one, your charms have been amplified by Jove’s grace in your house of communication for the past year, expanding your expression into a multitude of octaves like keys to hidden doors. It is said that our allies in the unseen respond most attentively to VOICE ~ a quality of our embodiment that serves as a bridge between the worlds. It is likely you have uncovered the magick wand that lives within your throat in new ways, unlocking invocations that can only come through knowing the power of Word as it shapes our reality. This conjuring has been a recalibration of your entire life landscape, constellating around what it is you DECLARE as SO. Our own self-concept is relational; it is born of the call and response between moving through & being moved by the entire landscape of our life. The energy greeting you here is that of a regal jungle cat waking up from a long slumber, stretching out in the sun like some kingly class of creature, totally at home in its own brilliance. For the past year, Jupiter has been softening the edges of your psyche, bringing resource back into the places that had been long depleted by all that generosity you so freely give. It has been a year of rest, recovery, and resource that comes mainly in moments spent in solitude. The comfort of your own presence, the silent hours at dusk and dawn; these are the places where Jove was able to reach you, and offer a sip of rejuvenating waters to your weary spirit. I reckon it has been much needed, and maybe isn’t quite over yet; waking up from this dreamstate slow and steady, realizing that it has planted something within the soil of your psyche that actually changes your waking reality. There has been such precious restoration here, such needed integration. Jupiter has been helping to slowly dissolve the stagnation that has built up in the corridors of your being after many years of doing, offering, giving and growing. There is no negotiating with this light, this generosity of heart that demands to shine so that others may be inspired to rise into their own gifts as well. Remember – there is room for us all; you can take up as much space as you want. When you share the fullness of your light unobstructed, you become a living invitation for others to do the same. This unshakeable bedrock that Jupiter is helping you to create within can never be touched by the disparagement of others; lions do not concern themselves with the opinions of sheep, as protection against the evil eye. Kill em with kindness, as you always do, and let the imperishable light of Love prevail. We want to see you SHINING, baby!!!

❤️‍🔥 VIRGO RISING: 11th → 12th house ❤️‍🔥

Beloved one, Jove has been working overtime in cahoots with the Fates to weave a web of brilliance in your corner of the world. For the past year, the house of Good Spirit has been lit up by the movements of rivers extending into tributaries, carrying the prayers you’ve spoken into the Web of Relations. The feedback loop of this positive intent cannot be overstated; you have been afforded such sublime connections in collaboration with the helping spirits that adore you. Take a moment to acknowledge just how much has lit up within the circuitry of your life, extending out and connecting your gifts to the right corners of the collective that are hungry for your magick. It is time to feast in gratitude for all of this generative bounty, and also acknowledge the ways it has been more than you bargained for! Such a surge of abundance requires integration, a kind of temperance. You have been plugged into the heart of the world, the matrix of memory pulsing with life, extending your muchness in every direction so that the world could rise to meet you in this call-and-response. It is likely that the landscape of your world has been utterly re-enchanted by Jupiter’s presence, bringing unexpected blessings in ways that will keep on giving for years to come.

As with any expansive transit like this, you have been changed for good. It is likely this transit has stretched you in ways that challenge your sense of Self, the stories you carry about Who You Are and what you thought possible for your own trajectory. Something has been activated that cannot be undone, and this new energy will continue to run through the circuits of your reality for years to come. I am giving you permission to trust this, friend. These gifts aren’t going anywhere. Perhaps it’s bold to assume, but notice where you feel frazzled or overwhelmed by the resources that are reaching back towards you. Real trust is required in the face of actually receiving our Prayers being answered; we no longer need to be in a constant state of longing nor straining. Now, you simply get to bask in the reception of these boons, and let yourself REST in the knowing that this is exactly what you asked for. As Jupiter enters your 12th house, the work is not in accumulating more merit; it is in removing the barriers you have built against your ability to receive This Love, as Rumi says. This next year is a time for deep integration, in a way that might feel disorienting. To truly shed the old narratives your system is so used to living into, you must give yourself to the process of self-undoing. There is nothing for you back there; everything you asked for is here, now. Let it transform you. Let yourself be changed by this generosity, of Life Loving you Back. You give so much, kin – so constantly ready to pour yourself into service by whatever form. This time is for you to receive exactly what was coming to you, and in doing so, dis-identify with the parts that feel like they need to Earn this worthiness of Being. Where did you pick that up? Is it possible that Jupiter is simply trying to show you generosity as evidence that you are Loved? Is it possible that this is your birthright, simply just because you exist? If this feels uncomfortable, notice that those are the exact conditions for this Love to do its work on you. You are LOVED, kin! That is all we ever needed from you! To rest in this knowing! Let this be your undoing, to open into the Heart of All Things and be held by its generosity. This may come with moments of inner confrontation and discomfort, by its very nature. Meditating on the nature of creation and spending time in your cave space with artistic catharsis can be VERY helpful for metabolizing the subliminal nature of this process. Try your best to not strain to understand this with your mind; it is not a problem to solve, as much as a nest to find comfort in. You will rise again on the other side of this, changed and renewed by the Presence of Love that is here to welcome you Home again.

• Capricorn Full Moon, 7:56pm EST ~ occuring in the first decan of Capricorn at 8*, ruled by Saturn in Aries. An invitation to check our impulses and re-instate our commitments to the long-term vision.

• Mars in Gemini squares the Nodes at 0* virgo/pisces: an initiation and a closure at the same time. What have we learned for the past year and a half from the nodes, and what is Mars illuminating in response? This is a body-level integration, a somatic renewal. May our orientation recalibrate accordingly.

• JUPITER ENTERS LEO!!! ❤️‍🔥 the annual ingress of our beloved Jove, preparing to expand a whole new territory of our lives. In the heart of the lion, we are invited to come more fully into our power; Right-sized dignity.

Friday, July 3rd (yikes): Mars forms a conjunction with Uranus at 1* Gemini. Lightning strikes Earth and starts a fire that we must tend wisely, lest it fry our circuits with its powerful awakening. Recalibration might be needed at a nervous system level to be able to handle the energy these planets are bringing into the collective body, the circuits alive with potential energy.

Okay dears, the time has come to talk about Chiron ⚷. This episode is a DEEP DIVE into a very important ingress that is often overlooked, which is the very real tenderness of Chiron’s movements across the sky. Last Friday June 19th, Chiron entered Taurus. This is as big a movement as Uranus, Jupiter, or Saturn’s ingresses, especially because Chiron has spent the last 7 years in Aries.

In my experience, there is something undeniable about Chiron’s presence and impact on the collective soul. The wounded healer brings our attention to the wound that lives within all of us, which is of course the thing that connects all of us. Faced with our own humanity, we must look at the inextricable interconnectedness of our suffering. Only here can the light actually begin to break through, so we may know what it means to live beyond our identification with these wounds.

This is not about ‘transcending’ our pain, nor diving head first into the wound as some masochistic impulse to get it over with. This is the gentle hand of some force that loves us, something that wants us to grow. It is the silent voice that says “here, look — inside of your suffering you will find a key that opens the heart of all things”. It is tender, vulnerable work. It has the power to bring us to our knees.

For the past 7 years, Chiron has been tracing the contours of a collective wound around individualism, sovereignty, and boundaries. How to assert ourselves without perpetuating systems of harm? How to find our voice in the face of oppression? How to stand our ground when the powers that be seek to smother any ounce of agency we can muster?

This territory of Aries has brought the martial nature of our wounding to the surface. It has asked us to face the cost of hyper-individualism, and the violence it perpetuates through supremacist patterning.

The question remains; how do we maintain our sovereignty while staying in relationship?

And so, as Chiron enters Taurus, we are invited to open into a deeper layer of tenderness in regards to our relationship to resources, security, needs, and the Land itself. To restore our systems of care into one that mirrors the natural intelligence of an ecosystem, rather than a pyramid scheme.

If I had to predict (and perhaps pray) for the specific way Chiron will get at our collective wounding around resources, it will bring commanding attention to the severe unequal distribution of resources worldwide, that by its very nature is not sustainable. It will ask us to reckon with the literal cost of our divergence from circular systems, and challenge our current economic model to recalibrate itself accordingly. Again, this is my prayer.

But this does not only apply to the ‘human’ economy. This extends, and truly originates, in our relationship to the Land itself. As I see it, human supremacy (the belief that our species is more intelligent than, and thus more valuable than, all other forms of life) is at the root of all other forms of supremacist patterning that express through racism, sexism, classism, bigotry + misogyny. Economic supremacy and the wielding of power through unequal distribution of resources is how all of these other forms of cultural harm get carried out.

And so — How do we determine what is valuable? To be more direct; WHO determines what kind of bodies are valuable of respect, humanity, and care?

The answer to the above asks for a direct examination of the patriarchal machinations of the overculture, that orient our collective value systems in service to capitalism. Enter Chiron, bringing our awareness to where the collective body is bleeding out, just as the Land is carved + pillaged for the extraction of resources. It is all interconnected.

One thing I yap more about in this episode, in addition to all of the above — is the psychological nature of Scarcity. Behaviors of Greed + Hoarding often do not equate to how much a person does or doesn’t have, by way of getting their needs met. Some of the richest billionaires function from severe scarcity, lending to the hoarding of resources we see widespread today. Scarcity is a sign of being out of relationship with the larger agreements we have to one another, to distribute our shared resources accordingly. This greed and hoarding is a Rupture of the sacred contract we have to one another, and to all of life. It is the divergence from the ecosystem that creates this kind of psychological vacuum; a hungry ghost that can never be satiated.

So what is the antidote? Relationality. When we are truly in relationship with something, it makes it much more difficult to extract or devalue its personhood. This goes for our relationship to anything; the Land, the spirits, ourselves, and one another. As my friend Skyler so clearly puts it; to orient to the Others around us as Relatives, rather than Resources.

And so, as Chiron begins to move through this Venusian territory of Taurus, the invitation is to pay close attention to the ways you fall in + out of relationship with the world around you. To bring gentle awareness to our collective conditioning around individualism, that lends itself to other forms of supremacist patterning.

In order to unravel this paradigm and begin to tend this wound, we must take needle + thread to the tapestry of our relational field, and begin to mend.
