You wrap up a coaching call and you're vibing. You said something on that call that landed. You can tell by the way they got quiet.

Then you sit down to post something on Instagram, and somebody else takes over. The you who made them get quiet becomes the you who writes “5 tips for” and adds a Canva graphic.

I did this for years. I’d finish a coaching call, open my content calendar, and become a completely different person. The best thing I said that day would never leave the room, because it felt too valuable to just put on the internet.

It took me too long to notice how much damage that was doing.

The wall between what your paying clients get and what your following gets is costing you far more than you realize. I call it boundaries without borders, and it’s how I’ve quantified what it means to be generous in my content.

A boundary is knowing who you work with and what you charge. It’s holding your price when somebody tells you their budget is tight this month, and being clear about who your client is and how you serve them.

A border is refusing to give anything real to anyone until they’ve paid. Follow me for the tips. Get on the list for the freebie. Read the appetizer version of my thinking, and if you make it across the paywall, you’ll finally get the meal.

Boundaries are healthy. Borders are why people don’t trust you.

You can feel a border. When somebody’s doling out just enough to keep you on the email list, when the “value” is really a warm-up for the pitch, when it’s clear all the good thinking is being saved for people who already paid — you tighten up and click away. A week later, you don’t remember their name.

The people I’ve watched build real trust with their audiences do it by talking to their followers the same way they talk to their clients. The voice, the specificity, the “let me tell you what I would actually do” are the same on Instagram as they are on a paid call. They stopped believing that giving it away would cost them anything.

Tell us what you’re against.

If you stand for something, you stand against something else. Naming the enemy is not mean — it's clarifying, and it's the thing most people skip because they think it makes them sound negative. It doesn't. It makes you shareable.

Pick the belief, the strategy, or the behavior that's keeping your ideal client stuck, and say it out loud. Then tell them what to do instead.

O — Optimize Your Energy

Build a menu, not a custom order.

Custom work is the fastest way to run out of hours. Even when what you deliver is customized to the person in front of you — brand identity, 1:1 coaching, a strategy document — the process to get them there doesn't need to be reinvented every time.

You've done this enough to know the pattern. Turn what you do into three offers they can choose from: good, better, best. Let their situation fit into your structure rather than forcing your structure to bend around them. That's how you go from being personally responsible for every hour to being the person behind the genius.

L — Lead The Movement

Talk to your former self.

The person you're speaking to on camera is not a stranger. They're the version of you from 3, 5, or maybe 10 years ago. The one who was stuck on the thing you now know how to solve. That person lives in other bodies right now, and they're watching. You don't need to know their demographic or their title. You just need to remember what they're going through and offer to help.

Perfectionist Amy from 10 years ago would have corrected people’s grammar on the internet. Big Thinking Amy recalls this and rolls her eyes. That’s a person I can talk to on camera, because I know her intimately, and speaking to her makes it stop being about how I look and start being about how I help her level up.

E — Elevate Your Impact

Sell what only you can offer.

Frameworks, checklists, templates — all free everywhere now.

What isn’t free, and won’t ever be, is the way you specifically see your client’s problem, diagnose what’s underneath it, and walk them through to the other side.

Build your offer around the transformation, not the deliverables.

Nobody is hiring you for the PDF. They’re hiring you for the way you’ll notice the thing they can’t see and say it back to them in a language that finally makes sense.

We just wrapped up the Daily Push Challenge in The ROLE Model Community. Our winner? Showed up consistently, all the way through. A few other women were right on her heels.

Pro Tip: Show up every day.

Whether you’re doing a 30-day sprint or starting a business from scratch, it doesn’t matter. Half the battle is agreeing to show up no matter how successful you think it’s going to be. You have to be willing to show up before you get any proof it will work.

Why does the Daily Push List matter? For the same reason showing up on your offer matters. It’s the bare minimum. And skipping it is exactly why so many women stay stuck on this question:

How do I even talk about what I’m offering when I don’t have everything set up yet?

Start with the person. That’s it. You’re worried about the URL? Worry about the thing that’s actually keeping her up at night. Because the name of your program isn’t it.

She doesn’t care what your Google Drive looks like. She cares about what she’s stuck on right now, this week, at the end of a long day. That’s the only thing she’s looking for you to speak to.

What is she trying to figure out? What has she already tried that didn’t work? What does she wish somebody would explain to her without making her feel behind for asking?

Those answers are your content, and they don’t need to wait for your sales page to be finished or for you to finally decide between ConvertKit and Beehiiv (which, by the way, is not a decision worth losing a month over). I’ve watched women lose entire seasons of their business fussing over what color the logo should be, while the woman they were trying to serve went and hired somebody who was already talking to her about the problem.

So keep talking to her while you build. Ask her questions and pay attention to the exact words she gives you back. Because those are the words you’re going to use when you finally make her an offer you know can actually help her.

And listen, when it comes to knowing whether your offer works, I can save you a lot of guessing. The only thing that ever tells you the truth is somebody paying you money for it.

“That sounds amazing” is great to hear, and I appreciate every woman who has ever said it to me, but it tells me almost nothing. I don’t know if she meant it, if she’d actually pay for it, if the timing is right for her, or if the number I’d put on it would feel reasonable to her. All I know is she’s a kind person.

“Send me the booking link” is a decision. That’s a real one. That’s a woman telling me she’s ready to invest her money in what I’m offering her, and now I have an actual person to serve, an actual problem to solve, and every reason to make what I deliver even better than what she said yes to.

Inner Circle didn’t start with a business plan and a launch calendar. I was in conversations with women about what was actually happening in their businesses, hearing the same walls over and over, and a few of them asked to work with me on it. So I said yes and got to work.

The structure came out of the actual work I did with them. The frameworks I teach now got sharper because the women in the room kept asking me the same real questions and I had to answer them. The experience got more valuable because we kept refining it together. The price went up because what people were getting out of it kept going up too.

You already know how to keep the promise you’re afraid to make. Which means the only thing left is to actually make it.

Something shifts the second someone pays you. She stops treating you like a possibility she’s window-shopping. You stop trying to convince her of anything. You’re both in it now, and that money is what keeps both of you showing up honestly for what you said this was going to be.

People aren’t buying your time. They’re buying your genius.

They’re paying for how you look at a problem, how you understand what’s actually going on underneath it, and how you walk them out of it into somewhere significantly better than where they started. They’re paying for the result, and for how clearly you can explain what that result actually is.

Selling your time is essentially handing yourself another job, this one with your name on the door. Selling your genius is building something that becomes more valuable every time you deliver on it.

And what it looks like isn’t really the point. Could be a coaching call, a consulting engagement, a photo session, a planner, a paid talk. Package it however you need to. Just be crystal clear about what you’re promising her, because that’s the thing she’s really paying for.

Go have the conversation. Ask about the real problem. Make her the offer. Whatever she pays for is what will teach you what she needs from you next.

What problem can you help solve today?

An offer that only lives in your head isn't something anyone can respond to. Her problem is already real though. It's happening today. Write down the exact question she keeps asking, in the words she actually uses, and build your message around what she's living through right now.

O — Optimize Your Energy

Stop paying for tools you already own.

Before you go sign up for another platform, sit down and actually look at what you already pay for every month. Google can hand you a calendar and a booking page. Instagram lets you label leads, booked calls, and paid clients. Your website host probably comes with something that works fine as a links page. Get the most out of what you already have. Buy something more complicated when the business is actually asking for it.

L — Lead The Movement

Prove the concept with a yes.

Compliments are encouraging, sure. But a payment is the only thing that proves the offer works for one real person in the world. Invite her into what you're building. Give her the next step clearly. And then deliver so well that the first version of it shows you exactly how to build the second one.

E — Elevate Your Impact

Sell the result you know how to create.

Make the offer before you have testimonials, templates, and every last piece dialed in. When someone says yes, that's when you show up fully, pay close attention, and get better through the work itself.

Last Christmas, I went viral for a practical joke I played on my husband. 19.1 million views.

You know how many new followers I got out of it? 620.

Not 19 million. Six hundred and twenty stayed. Everyone else watched, liked, and scrolled to the next thing.

Some tapped over to see who made it. I’m not a prankster, and I don’t plan to become one. So they didn’t find another Amy who kept making them laugh, and they moved on.

Don’t get me wrong. The 620 who did stay are the right kind of followers. They saw one wild moment and still thought I was worth watching. That’s a great outcome for any single post.

But it’s not a sustainable strategy. If you want to prove your positioning and actually convert the traffic you earn, you need something repeatable that shows your genius.

Take my recent Gloriously Overqualified reel, a book recommendation post featuring three female non-fiction authors. 289,000 views. 5,700 new followers in the first week and a half.

The biggest video I ever made got the smallest return. The one that was well delivered and within my zone of genius brought incredible results. This is simply preparation through positioning.

Instagram lets you hold a post and reorder it now. You can pull anything you’ve ever created to the top of your feed and make it the first thing new eyes see. So when Gloriously Overqualified took off, the people who tapped over to my profile saw more book content. More recommendations. More Amy the author. They didn’t have to guess who I was. I’d already told them.

Virality isn’t the win. Being ready for virality is.

What you have to prepare is what people see the second after they’ve watched. The version of you they meet when they follow the trail back to your account. That version has to answer the question they didn’t know they were asking: is she going to keep giving me what I just liked?

Prepare to receive. Then keep making it easy for them to stay.

R — Reveal Your Focus

Speak to the fifth grader.

If your ideal client had to sit through your offer description at dinner, would she actually understand it? Or would she nod politely and ask what you do again next week?

Nobody buys what they don’t understand. It doesn’t matter how brilliant the offer is. If she can’t repeat what you do to her friend the next day, you don’t have a marketing problem. You have a language problem.

I run every single thing I write through this filter: does this sound like a college professor or a fifth grader? If I sound smart at your expense, I’ve failed.

Rewrite it the way you’d say it to a friend at brunch. That’s the version that sells.

O — Optimize Your Energy

Don't batch to escape.

Batching means sitting down once and making everything you’ll post that week. Five reels in an afternoon. A whole week of Instagram stories filmed on a Monday morning.

There are two reasons to do it:

1. Good batching: you’re new, you’re building the muscle, you sit down once a week to make sure the reps happen. Or you’re strategic, you know what’s converting, and you’re producing five variations of the winning format in one session.

2. Bad batching: you sit down Sunday night because you dread the week ahead and you’d rather film ten things badly than think about what actually needs to be made. You film them. You post them on autopilot. Nothing lands. You feel worse.

The difference isn’t the batch. It’s whether you were making better content or just making yourself feel productive. Decide you’ll post and then measure. Get 1% better every single time.

L — Lead The Movement

Lead with the pain, not the solution.

Short-form video isn’t chosen. It’s played. Someone opened the app, and your video is what happened next.

You have two seconds to make her say “she’s talking about me.”

Say you’re a doctor who makes videos about stretches for back pain. Most creators would open with the stretch. But the viewer scrolling past hasn’t named her back as the problem yet. She feels tight, or tired, or off. She hasn’t decided it’s her back.

Show her the feeling first. Then show her that her back is what’s causing it. Then show her the stretch that fixes it.

She has to see her own situation in your video before she’ll trust that you have the answer.

E — Elevate Your Impact

Charge more so you can give more.

The reason you haven’t raised your prices is that you’re still thinking about yourself.

You’ve been asking “am I worth this?” for so long that the answer has gotten quiet and you’ve stopped believing it either way. So you sit at the number you sat at last year, and you feel small about it, and nothing changes.

Try the other question. What could you do with more?

You could hire someone whose life would change from having that job. You could give your family a version of Saturday morning they haven’t had in years. You could donate to the cause you keep meaning to. You could go to the retreat, take the training, buy the equipment, fund the thing.

The price isn’t about you. It’s about everyone your money makes room for.

I’ve had many clients over the years who are a bit camera-shy. It might seem crazy now, but I feared the camera so much earlier in my life. I would never have guessed I’d carve out the career I have today.

Camera shyness stems from many places, but the biggest one that tends to hold back progress is the mirror moment. Looking at yourself in a video frame and deciding whether you like it enough to let the entire world watch it. That’s daunting.

This is exactly why it doesn’t happen. You’re not hiding from the world, though. You’re hiding from yourself.

What if you looked at the task completely differently? What would change if the person on the other side of your camera was already your client?

What if you were talking to someone who already trusts you? Someone who follows your social media updates because she really needs what you have to say?

I don’t have 106,000 clients. But I do have 106,000 followers on Instagram. When I open the camera to share something interesting or give a motivational pep talk, I talk to them as if they’re already my clients. They’re in my world and I treat them like I would my best clients. Because in some real way, they already are. They said yes. They followed. They’re here. They’re just going at their chosen pace.

When you assume that everyone is already your client, that you’re incredible at what you do, and that you need to show up for them accordingly, you show up differently. The tone shifts from “I’m not sure I like this” to “I don’t know who needs to hear this, but here it comes!” Warmer. Less performative. You stop trying to prove yourself, and you start doing what you actually know how to do. Take care of someone.

You know how to take care of someone. You do it all the time. Try doing it into the camera and see what happens. Assume everyone who follows you is already your client. Now, what do they need to hear from you today?

Sit in the parking lot.

There’s nothing quite like the serenity of your car. Anytime I have an appointment, I try to be early. I just want to sit. I want to have a quiet moment with me, myself, and I.

Nobody knows what I’m doing in there. Sometimes my eyes are closed, and I imagine people wondering if I’m sleeping. I don’t care. I’m just letting the last thing settle before I walk into the next thing.

Try it anytime you’re about to switch modes. Between the meeting and the pickup. Stop yourself from thinking about what’s undone at your last stop and what’s about to happen at the next. Just take two minutes of nothing.

You’re more present for what’s next when you feel like you’ve had the space to just be.

The perfect way is to post today.

Tomorrow won’t be better if yesterday didn’t happen. Today is all you have. No matter what you’re worried about — whether the setting isn’t right or your hair’s out of place — do the hard thing and post content that shines a light on why you do this.

E — Elevate Your Impact

Stop tinkering. Ship it.

You don’t need to perfect an offer when no one’s heard of you. You don’t need to make your framework prettier if no one’s asking for it. Your workshop deck is fine; the extra slides you’re adding only make it heavier, not better.

It’s your move. You know it, so you delay. Be bold and remove all the details you think are necessary. Have a real conversation with someone who will tell you the only things that truly matter.

Just agree to make it incredible and improve it later.

“I doubt it.”

Next time you say those words, stop. Notice. Why do you feel that way? What made you say it? How did it bubble up and out of your mouth so quickly?

Maybe a client wants to hit a certain number by next week. Or the house will be painted by tomorrow. Or your friend describes a life she wants that looks nothing like her current reality.

I doubt it. You think it. You say it. You believe it.

It’s not that you doubt these people. You just base your predictions on your past. That’s common.

But do you want to be common? Do you want to be right? What if you decided you just wanted to be open?

Doubt is a bouncer at the door of your own life. She’s not there to keep bad things out. She’s there to keep hope from getting in and letting you down. You use doubt as a form of protection. Protection from feeling let down. Protection from being hurt.

But what if the same form of protection you’re using to not let yourself down is keeping you from lifting yourself up?

Most motivators try to get you to think about this differently by asking you, “What would you do if you knew you couldn’t fail?” That question is too big for most people. If you’re struggling with doubt, you’re going to doubt the hell out of that question before you could ever be open enough to start answering it. Even your answers will feel negative instead of positive because they’re covered in the doubt you use to armor them.

Instead, I want you to think about it differently. Ask yourself:
If you didn’t doubt your success, what’s something you would do more confidently today?

If you dropped the doubt of the thing you already want, the thing you catch yourself hedging with something more realistic every time you say it out loud, what would today look like?

This is a challenge. I want you to say the wild belief. Stop protecting it with some realistic version after. Go for the moon. Then start running and don’t stop.

Doubt hasn’t been protecting you. It’s been keeping you from a life that’s already yours. Relieve her of her duties. We don’t need her anymore.

Name the version of you three steps ahead.

What does she look like to run the business you’re building? Rather than the one you’re running now?

Get specific:

• What time does she wake up?

• What is she wearing on the calls she takes?

• What does she order on the coffee run?

• What is she saying no to without needing to explain why?

The version of you three steps ahead is a real person. You can meet her. You can spend a day in her shoes and see how it feels. You don’t have to wait. You get to do that whenever you choose.

You already know what she wouldn’t tolerate. Start there.

O — Optimize Your Energy

The Zoom you should decline.

Yep. There it is on your calendar this week. It’s on Thursday. So close yet far enough away. You already regret it. The person is lovely (this always makes it worse). The purpose is fuzzy. It could have been an audio note.

Send the graceful “I can’t make it, but I’ll send you a text” message today. If you wait until the night before, the guilt kicks in, and you cave. Time not well spent. You lost all that bandwidth leading up to it, in addition to the actual time itself.

You don’t owe anyone 45 minutes of your best hour just because they asked nicely. If it’s not a hell yes, it’s a no.

L — Lead The Movement

Publish the pivot.

You’ve been changing direction for weeks, and you haven’t told anyone.

Posting less. Drafting new stuff in the notes app instead of the queue. Rewriting your bio and then not saving it because you can’t quite own it out loud.

The version of your audience worth keeping is the one that wants to know when you’re changing. Because they’re changing too. If you don’t announce it, they’ll assume you disappeared.

Here’s the thing I’ve learned about pivots: nobody is more freaked out about them than the person doing them. Post the announcement while it still feels rough. That’s honestly when they land best.

E — Elevate Your Impact

The tax on staying small.

Staying small doesn’t just keep you where you are. It costs other people too.

The client who almost booked but decided against it because you were “still figuring it out.” The colleague who was watching to see how much you’d charge, and priced herself accordingly. The friend who took your quiet dim as permission to dim her own.

Your size isn’t just yours. It’s a template.

So grow out loud. The people watching you are waiting for permission.

Like the mentor whose work you’ve been quoting for years. The podcast host who would change everything if she said yes. The connection who could open the door if you just asked.

You haven’t asked. Because you don’t want to feel stupid.

Jodi Kantor gave a list in her book How To Start that’s perfect for this, and they’re her rules for writing that email:

• Don’t press send until you’re happy with every single line.

• Keep it short.

• Warm without being over-familiar.

• If any line sounds like it could have been written by AI or someone else, delete it.

• If you ask a question, don’t make it one you could Google.

• If you share even one person or place in common with them, name it. Even the smallest overlap increases the chance of a yes.

The email that opens the door isn’t longer than the ones being ignored. It’s more deliberate. Every line earned its place before you hit send.

You know who you’re trying to reach. You’ve known for a while. Write the email today. Delete every line that doesn’t sound like you.

Pick a lane and stay in it for six months.

If you’ve changed your niche four times this year, you don’t need a new one. You need to keep the one you have.

The lane you pick will feel wrong sometime in month two. That’s the discomfort of not being an amateur anymore. Keep going.

Give it six months of full commitment before you decide it doesn’t work. That’s the minimum window where the market can actually respond to who you say you are.

Change it before then and all you’ll have is a résumé of tried-that.

O — Optimize Your Energy

Sleep is the leverage.

Everyone is trying to squeeze more out of the day. Meanwhile you’re operating on six hours and pretending you’re fine.

The productivity tricks don’t compound. Sleep does.

An hour more of it will do more for your decisions, your patience, and your revenue than the fifth productivity app you downloaded this quarter.

Wherever you are. Whatever you’re doing. Have a notebook and pen next to you. Keep the pen in your hand if you can.

This is one of the best things you can do to find out what your genius is.

When we hear the word genius, we think we have to be brilliant at something. But it’s not about already being brilliant at all! Ugh! If I could go back to school-age Amy I would tell her that you don’t have to be the smartest person in the room.

To be a genius, you just have to be genuinely interested.

Interests are personally driven. They are the intersection of how we find significance. Yes, you’ll have to learn the way something actually is. But you can refine how you understand it by finding the parallels to what interests you personally.

Simply put. If you know what interests you, you can expand your mind to process and learn anything you want.

This requires a pen in your hand. A scrap of paper at minimum.

When I read a book, I have a pen in hand. Sometimes I’m writing in the margins. Circling. Underlining. As long as I pair it with what my personal take is, I can better understand what’s on the page.

Why? Because I don’t force myself to understand. I encourage myself to notice.

What we notice is extraordinary to who we are. Our experience. Our bias. Our upbringing. What we want to hear. We notice what we already have interest in, in some way, shape, or form.

So by starting with a simple agreement — write down anything you notice — you’ll already love what you’re writing, and you’ll already understand it. Because it’s exactly where you are right now, your current understanding intersecting with new information.

What’s written is remembered. What’s remembered is acted upon.

Agree to take notes all the time, but only write down what you notice. Before you know it, you’ll see a common thread, and it’s pulling together the fabric of your genius.

Believe the compliment you keep dismissing.

Someone told you the same thing last week that someone else told you six months ago. You brushed it off both times.

“You always make me feel like I can do it.”
“I’ve never met anyone who explains it like that.”
“I reread what you wrote three times. So good.”

That’s your positioning. It’s already writing itself in other people’s mouths.

You keep dismissing it because it sounds too obvious to you. It only sounds obvious to you. The people saying it can’t do what you do.

O — Optimize Your Energy

Buy back the hour you keep giving away.

There’s a place your day goes that you resent every single time. The Monday check-in that could be an email. The invoicing you keep pushing to Friday. The DM inbox you check while your dinner gets cold.

Pay someone to take it, or delete it entirely.

You’ve done that job long enough. It’s someone else’s this month.

L — Lead The Movement

Feature the people you serve.

Your audience wants more of you. What they don’t have yet is a reason to trust that you’re not just talking.

Give them one.

The client who did the thing they’ve been afraid to try. The reader who wrote back with the breakthrough. The friend who took your advice and it worked.

Post about them. With their name. With their permission. With a photo if you have one.

You look inevitable when other people are the ones telling your story.

Audit the energy you keep absorbing.

Notice who leaves you smaller. Notice who you start to sound like without deciding to.

I’ve been accused of stealing ideas before. It wasn’t fun.

14 years ago, someone I respected deeply came at me hard, claiming I’d stolen her idea. Her content.

It was scary. I consulted an attorney. I wanted to know what I was dealing with.

You wanna know what actually happened?

She was a brilliant thought leader teaching people how to do what she did. And I took her advice. Maybe I took her advice a little better than she took her own advice, but if it weren’t for how much I looked up to her and how she built what she did, I would never have learned.

And she spelled it right out. She taught it all, and I was a loyal community member following her marching orders.

I’ve never understood people who lose their ever-loving minds when someone steals their idea. There are no new ideas. None.

I hope you steal everything from me. I hope that every single time something I share inspires you, you act on it. Immediately.

I’m not in this game to be original. I’m in it to be helpful. I can’t be helpful if you don’t do the thing. So how can I possibly be mad when you do?

My clients. My community. My friends. My acquaintances. I tell them everything I know as fast as I can, so it helps them. It gives me purpose.

I’ve never sat down to film one video and gotten up feeling done for the week. If I film, I film four. Same for photos, same for writing.

Not because I love the work that much. Because setting up the light and getting the desk to look right on camera takes forty minutes before I’ve said a single word on tape.

I’ve never been afraid of YouTube comments.

When I first started on the platform — way back in 2007, before most people even knew it existed — it didn’t quite register that people would have thoughts about what I uploaded to my channel. Even when those thoughts did start to come in, they were mostly warm and inviting, as if those watching felt they had found a kindred spirit. The feeling was mutual.

Opinions did start to turn different shades in the comments as the years passed. It quickly became apparent that anyone could say anything and there wouldn’t be repercussions. Not for the commenter anyway. It did affect the creators.

I’ve seen so many creators lose their cool because of how awfully they were treated in their comments sections. It didn’t stop at YouTube. It continued on all social platforms.

Which is why I’ve looked at the state of my presence online and decided… something’s up.

Throughout my career, I’ve been quite lucky. Thoughts, quotes, and opinions on my videos have only driven me to make more and more content, to the point that I’ve now been a creator for almost 20 years.

But for a while now, it’s been weird. The comments have almost dried up.

I blamed the way we watch videos now. People aren’t commenting because they’re watching as they go about their day. They don’t have time to comment. They simply show their appreciation by returning for the next one.

That’s true, to an extent. But what if my next one doesn’t show up? You could be subscribed to a channel and still never see the video if it doesn’t register as “good enough”.

Rather than beating up the algorithm, as everyone loves to do, I asked myself what would have to be true if the algorithm were actually a very accurate assessment of what people want to see.

If that’s true, my videos aren't showing what people currently want to see.

Pulling on that thread, I wondered if my content wasn’t good enough or if it just wasn’t presented the right way. Does my audience not want another resource on becoming the most productive and high-performing person they know or do they want it in a different way? What if they don’t care about it at all?

The sentiment of not being productive would definitely align with the summer months and wanting to take it easy. But it’s more than that. Maybe everyone’s sick of being told what to do all day on their social media feed and they just want to see people actually living their own marching orders.

I liked the sound of that last one.

AmyTV looks very different right now, and it will for the foreseeable future. Not because my audience doesn’t care to be productive and high-performing. But because they really just want to spend more time with someone who’s happy to show more than they tell.

Rather than posting videos about what to do, I’m spending the summer showing people what I do. What it looks like to prioritize tasks. What it looks like to take it easy. What it looks like in a normal life where I actually get to enjoy things other than work and organizing tasks.

After just two episodes of the series, people who haven’t commented on my videos in years have popped back in to tell me how happy they are about the pivot. Not wanting me to bail on what we were doing before, but loving how multifaceted the content can be.

If you think what you’re doing isn’t working, it might just be that people aren’t feeling it. Before you get into a rhythm of posting, notice what moves people. Don’t just post for posting’s sake.

This is why I’ll never be afraid of the comments. I can only learn from them. Bring it, comments section.

My daughter has started to ask me to buy things for her on Amazon.

Oh, how I’ve created a monster.

It was cute in the beginning. Showing her that we can find something on my phone and then having it sent to the house. Things she needs, like tap shoes for dance or a bathing suit for summer camp. Now, her imagination has run wild with it, thinking up the most exciting toy ideas and asking me to dial it on over.

“Mommy, can you get me a pink unicorn magic wand that lights up?” Um. Probably?

“Mommy, add it to your cart.” OMG have I said that phrase out loud?

First, I want to start lecturing her that we don’t just buy any and everything we want just because we ask for it. But then I remember how most of us use Amazon.

Instead of trying to lecture a 4-year-old on gratitude for the ability to buy things, I find myself saying “I’ll try.”

Let’s be honest. I didn’t try. I did it. I picked up my phone, typed it in and found it. I found a pink unicorn magic wand that lights up. The sheer success of seeing the exact thing she asked for in my search results compelled me to have it delivered to my front porch.

But even if I didn’t find it, I also didn’t “try”.

When we do something, we are not “trying”. We are doing. Period. Hard stop.

Trying doesn’t exist. There is only whether you did it or not. Effort without success is not trying. It’s un-success. You can give effort to a thing that’s undone. Or give effort to a thing that gets done.

As Yoda so famously put it: “Do or do not. There is no try.”

We should all stop trying, because it’s just a filler word we use to describe the very fact that we have no intention of seeing something through. We’re going to dabble. Dip our toe in. Take a looksie and then bail as soon as it’s hard.

It’s time to stop trying. Either do what you’re saying you’re going to do, or don’t say you’re going to do something you couldn’t care less about doing.

Stop trying. Start doing. Or stop saying yes to what you don’t intend to do.

When the moment comes to make the case for yourself, the case is already written.

Every “maybe” is a no.

You’re just being polite about who you’re saying it to.

The person you keep “looping back to.” The project you’ve never quite committed to. The half-yes you handed your friend last month. You’ve already decided. You’re stalling so you don’t have to admit it.

The “no” you owe yourself is the most expensive one to skip.

It’s time to make that card swap a connection.

The second message is the introduction. The one you send three weeks later. I keep thinking about what you said about X. Did you ever try Y?

Almost nobody sends it. They’re waiting for the other person to remember them first.

Don’t wait. Be remembered on purpose.

We crave more.

We want to feel new feelings.

Try new experiences.

Get something different out of our day.

But the moment we sense there’s something really grabbing our attention, in an almost dangerously exciting way, we pull back. No. It won’t be as good as I think it will be, and I’ll look stupid if I try. Everyone will tell me not to bother, and that will be enough for me to hesitate and bail.

It was one little thread that I pulled on. One. But I kept pulling on it every day. As I kept seeing what came next, it kept growing and growing. And my interest became obsession. My obsession eventually became mastery.

When you feel like you’re onto something, don’t look around for confirmation. Just feel it. You’re the only one who will know for sure that it’s the right thing because you’re the only one who will get to enjoy every pull of the thread. When you turn that thread into a beautiful quilt, onlookers will come to admire it. But you still needed to be the one who showed up every day willing to see what you could make of it.

Be okay with being obsessed with something that lights you up. No matter what it all works out to be.

I spent a half-day this week with a service-based business owner who is brilliant at what she does.

For years, she’s been the person everyone turns to. The one who quietly fixes the problem, makes the thing work, gets the result. She’s built a successful business helping dozens of businesses do what they couldn’t do on their own.

And almost nobody knows she exists.

Not because she’s new or lacks proof. Because she was raised in a culture that treats self-promotion as a character flaw. You’re “full of yourself” if you do anything remotely close to sharing a win. Just the sight of your face out in the world merits a who do you think you are type of social media comment. So she’s stayed small. Excellent… but invisible.

This is what I told her:

Hiding your authority is not humility. It’s withholding.

Every person who needed your work and never found you didn’t benefit from your modesty. They just hired the next person. Usually someone louder. Often someone not as good.

Being good at the thing was never the whole job. Being found doing the thing is the whole job.

Stop forcing yourself into someone else’s system.

Most women assume that if they can’t stick to the color-coded, perfectly-planned productivity system everyone swears by, then they must be the problem.

Planning with enthusiasm, then getting derailed. Every time. And they take it as proof they must not have what it takes.

You’re not broken. You’ve been trying to operate like someone you’re not.

Some people run on tidy systems. Some people run on bursts of energy and a brain that holds everything at once. Neither is wrong. But you can’t build leverage on a system you have to fight yourself to use.

Reveal how you actually work, then build the structure around that. Don’t borrow one designed for a different brain.

The goal is to be effective, as you.

O — Optimize Your Energy

Get out of your head.

If everything your business needs to run lives inside your head, you’re the ceiling.

Every process you’ve never written down. Every decision that “only you” can make. Every “it’s faster if I do it myself.” It’s a cage you built and locked from the inside.

The most overlooked energy leak is being the only person who knows how anything works. (You half-remember your own process until you're actually doing it. The recording catches the parts you forgot you knew.)

Next time you do a recurring task, record your screen while you talk through it. Upload that recording into an AI tool and let it write the first draft of the process for you. You just turned a thing trapped in your head into something you can hand off.

It’s not perfect. It’s the beginning.

But the way you were doing it was far from perfect, too.

The robots can’t see your Instagram.

When someone asks AI for a recommendation, it doesn’t go digging through Instagram. It pulls from the open web. Maps. Directories. Reviews. Real citations on real sites.

If your entire presence lives on social, you are invisible to the fastest-growing way people find businesses.

All those hours making reels. All that energy feeding an algorithm that locks your best work behind a login that the machines aren’t prioritizing.

This isn’t a reason to quit social.

This is a reason to stop treating social as your only home.

Get your name, your work, and your proof onto the open web. Your own site. Directories. The places that get cited when someone asks the machine who’s good at what you do.

Be findable by the search of the future, not just the feed of the moment.

A client on a coaching call this week brought me a content framework she’s been building.

But she was selling it wrong.

Her framing was “this helps you reduce overwhelm.”

I stopped her. “Get it done faster and better.” That’s what you’re selling.

Nobody wakes up wanting less overwhelm. They wake up wanting more output, more income, more reach. Overwhelm is the broccoli. Speed and quality are the cake.

If you only ever talk about the broccoli, the only people who follow you are the ones who think they deserve the vegetables.

Lead with the cake.

Picture a woman showing you a finished fishtail braid. It’s gorgeous. You want one. Now you’ll watch a fifteen-minute tutorial on how to weave the strands.

But if she started with “here’s how to fix the chaos of your morning hair routine” — would you still be watching? Or did she just lose you at chaos?

Same braid. Same hands. Two completely different levels of engagement.

The promise is the entire game. The promise is what makes someone lean forward instead of scroll past. The promise is what gets the right person to commit to being in your world.

R — Reveal Your Focus

You don’t need another skill. You need a new belief.

When you hit a ceiling, the first instinct is to learn something new.

Another course. Another certification. Another book. Another framework.

But there are three categories of growth, not one:

• Skills — what you know how to do

• Beliefs — what you’ve decided is possible for you

• Character — how you show up when no one’s watching

Most women keep loading the first category because it feels productive. Skills are easy to measure. You can buy them. You can check them off.

Beliefs and character are harder. They require honesty. They ask you to confront the version of you that’s been protecting you from a bigger life.

The belief that got you here won’t get you further.

If you’re stuck, slow down before you sign up for the next thing. Ask what category you’re actually in. The answer will tell you whether you need a teacher, a coach, or a mirror.

O — Optimize Your Energy

Time × Leverage = Output

Most women are still trying to win on the time side of the equation.

More hours. Earlier mornings. Later nights. Weekends sacrificed to the business. The whole strategy is put in more.

But the math doesn’t work that way.

If you build $2M in business value over 2,000 hours, you’re worth $1,000 an hour. If you build the same $2M in 200 hours, you’re worth $10,000 an hour. Same output. Different leverage.

The hours are not what made it possible. The leverage is.

Leverage is everything that lets your hours multiply. Tools that do what used to take a week in twenty minutes. Capital that buys you the freedom to say no. Content that reaches a thousand people while you’re at dinner. Other people’s trust, lending you their reach.

The women who reach the next level stop trying to win at hours and start trying to win at leverage.

You don’t need more time. You need leverage on the time you have.

Read for them, not just for you.

Most creators read for their own development. Every book is bought to fix a thing in their own life.

That’s fine. But there’s a more masterful play.

Read to solve the problems of your audience, not just you.

Pick up a book the moment someone tells you what’s keeping them stuck. 300 pages of someone else’s hard-won lessons can solve their problem faster than you reverse-engineering it from scratch.

Read with a highlighter. Write notes while you read. Read with their question in your head. Then turn what you learned into your next post, email, or offer.

Be useful to become more valuable.

Stop asking what you’re worth.

“Meetings are not work.”

I swear it wasn’t me this time. Instead of thinking Amy, there you go again with your unrealistic ideas, you can take it out on Bob Jordan.

Bob Jordan is the CEO of Southwest. And like the rest of us — falling asleep or playing Wordle in meetings that could have been emails — he’s fed up. According to remarks at the New York Times DealBook Summit, Jordan’s goal for 2026 is to “keep his calendar completely clear every Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday afternoon — blocking anyone from booking meetings during those hours.” (source: Fortune)

Must be nice to be the CEO of a company and make that change, right? Meanwhile, how many people at Southwest are still attending meetings because their immediate supervisors measure success in hours clocked?

Southwest posted a surprise profit last quarter while Jordan was blocking those afternoons. He admits it sounds crazy. The numbers say otherwise.

We have a long way to go for these proven productivity systems to work their way down to the rest of the organization. They would get a lot more done if they followed suit: more high-intensity work sessions (as you'll read in our O-note below), fewer pseudowork days on the clock.

But leadership can’t just change their own calendar. They must also train their people to have the same values.

You don’t have to be Bob Jordan to do this. You can choose to block your time from unnecessary crap anytime you want. You don’t need a board of directors or a corner office to decide your afternoons are for actual work. You don’t need a title to stop performing busy.

If your week is packed but your needle isn’t moving, that’s a permission problem dressed up as a time problem. And the only person whose permission you actually need is yours.

3 Rules For Writing Down Your Ideas

1. Write your ideas immediately. Pen to paper is best for processing, but an audio note will do. The sooner it’s out of your head and in the real world, the sooner you can make sense of it and clear space for more good ideas.

2. Write clearly enough for a stranger to get it. You may think what you wrote will make sense to you later, but just in case, write it as though a stranger needs to understand it. Believe it or not, you will feel like a stranger to yourself when you read something you can’t quite parse. You are the stranger. Write clearly for you.

3. Write the ideas that are interesting to you. What’s the use in keeping ideas if they’re not that interesting to you later? You want to be excited by your thoughts when you see them again. Reenergized. Generate real energy by collecting ideas related to your interests.

O — Optimize Your Energy

You Don’t Need More Time. You Need More Intensity.

Pseudowork is when you’re busy with something but it isn’t directly contributing to the outcome of a project that needs to be done.

Society has convinced us this is what working looks like — report to a desk from 9 to 5 to prove your worth — when actually we’ve just sold our time to the highest bidder, waiting for them to give us our daily orders.

You don’t need long, drawn-out blocks of time to get things done. You need short, intense bursts of progress toward a greater vision.

If you want to get things done, you need to give a SHIT: Short High Intensity Time.

Watch your productivity skyrocket so fast you’ll be saying “Oh SHIT, I have time for a round of Mahjong.”

Vlogging Brings You Out Of Hiding.

The people who want to make a name for themselves the fastest use social media to open the door to a known personal brand.

The people who actually make it do the simplest thing in the world: talk.

Photos are pretty and can be edited. Skits are funny and need to be scripted. Video blogging is when you take your thoughts and speak to the camera about them like you’re talking to a friend — bringing them in on a secret you think they should know.

No viral formula needed. No trend hopping necessary.

This will be the fastest way for the right people to see you and think Dang. She really knows what she’s talking about.

E — Elevate Your Impact

What Are You Doing… Again?

What are you doing today that you do every week at this time?

Stop it.

Or at least, stop starting from scratch every time you do it.

If you don’t have a system for tasks you do regularly, you’ll never get your time back. And most certainly, you’ll never elevate your life.

When in doubt, ask ChatGPT how to do it.

I posted this on Instagram yesterday:

There’s no greater gift than creating people who stress you the f out. Nothing else has taught me more about myself than becoming a mother. Best decision of my life.

I’ve been a daughter. A YouTuber. A student. A wife. An employee. A speaker. A founder. A coach. A bestselling author. None of those identities taught me what motherhood has.

It’s the job with the biggest asks. The biggest demands. The biggest reward.

Motherhood doesn’t care if you have the capacity for what it requires. It just hands you the requirement. You find out what you’re actually made of quickly. Usually around 3 am. Usually with someone screaming. Usually with no plan and no one coming to save you.

From the beginning, I was trying to prove my capability. That I had it all in me. I didn’t need help. I wanted to make every decision myself and follow through on my own.

Turns out I wasn’t missing the capability. I was running out of capacity. Whether I chose to stop, or my body chose for me.

Motherhood didn’t soften me. It sharpened me.

That’s the funny thing about expansion. Most people meet their limit because they think everything that’s important falls directly on them. But to truly expand means to be ruthlessly picky about what gets your energy, so you have more to give when you see more for yourself.

What can you let go of that’s been your norm but doesn’t matter as much as your widest dreams do? You can’t grow beyond your current circumstances with the same set of actions.

Instead of letting life with kids be the excuse, let life with kids help you realize how much bigger life can be.

Your Calendar Is Your Vision Statement

You can write whatever you want in your journal about who you’re becoming.

But your calendar will tell on you.

If you say your priority is your health, your business, your kids, your marriage—but your week shows you spending the bulk of your time someplace else—your calendar is what's actually true. Your journal is just what you wish were true.

Question of the Week:
What is my current week actually optimizing for?

Not what you wish it were. Not what you tell people it is. What it’s actually doing, hour by hour. The work is bringing it back in alignment with the focus you say you want.

O — Optimize Your Energy

Audit. Don’t add.

When you feel like you’re falling behind, the instinct is to add.

A new planner. A new app. A new morning routine. A new color-coded system. A new tracker. A new framework.

But adding more never creates capacity. It uses the last of it.

The move is subtraction. Before you add anything to your week, audit what’s already there:

• What can you stop doing entirely?

• What can someone else do — even if they do it 80% as well as you would?

• What used to matter but doesn’t anymore?

• What are you doing out of habit, not intention?

Capacity isn’t created by squeezing more into the same container. It’s created by emptying the container of what you’ve outgrown.

L — Lead The Movement

Subtract in public.

Your audience doesn’t just need to see what you’re building.

They need to see what you’re choosing not to build.

The masterclass you’re not launching. The collab you turned down. The platform you’re not joining this year. The version of success you walked away from because it wasn’t actually yours.

Most creators only share the adds — the new offer, the new launch, the new pivot. But your subtractions tell a more honest story about who you’re becoming.

When you say no in public, three things happen:

1. You give other people permission. Especially the ones watching from a distance, exhausted, wondering if they’re allowed to stop doing the thing that’s draining them.

2. You filter your audience. The right people lean in. The wrong people peace out. Both are good news.

3. You go on record. Your future self has a receipt. Harder to backslide when you’ve said it out loud.

Stop curating the highlight reel of your yes. Show them the no.

E — Elevate Your Impact

Bigger isn’t busier.

The version of you who’s running the bigger life isn’t doing more.

She’s doing different.

She’s not the one with 47 tabs open and a calendar packed end-to-end. She’s the one who said no to 40 of the things you’re still saying yes to — and put her energy into the few that actually move her forward.

You don’t have to wait until you’re “ready” to make those decisions. You can start choosing like her this week.

If you’ve ever felt a flicker of something—admiration, longing, that quiet I want that too—when you saw another person’s life, and immediately followed it with a stern internal lecture about staying in your lane, this one’s for you.

You’ve heard the advice (or some version of it) for your whole life:
Don’t try to keep up with the Joneses.

Your grandmother said it. Your dad said it when a coworker put in a pool. A personal finance guru is saying it on a podcast right now, into the ears of a woman driving home from a job she’s outgrown, telling her that her restlessness is a character flaw.

The phrase comes from a 1913 comic strip about a striving suburban family who spent every panel trying to match the lifestyle of their unseen, fancier neighbors. The cartoonist based it on his own life — he’d moved to a wealthy suburb, drained his savings trying to live like the people next door, and made a career out of the lesson. Fair warning, in 1913. Don’t bankrupt yourself trying to look rich.

Almost a hundred years later, another family moved into the cultural imagination — this one very much seen, on a reality show called Keeping Up with the Kardashians. Same anxiety, new century, glossier surfaces. And the advice doubled down accordingly. Don’t compare. Stay in your lane. Be grateful.

But somewhere in that intensification, the advice stopped being a warning against debt and became something else entirely. It became a blanket prohibition against ambition that uses other people as a reference point. And those who repeat it most often almost always mean it lovingly. They don’t want you to suffer the comparison.

Here’s the problem. When you see the Joneses drive their new car, or the Kardashians step onto a private jet, you are simply noticing what’s possible. You don’t have to want the car. You don’t have to want the jet. But to tell you not to keep up with them is to tell you to ignore that they made something that felt impossible happen. The Joneses and the Kardashians aren’t your assignment. They’re your permission slip—proof that “more” exists, so you can go find the version of “more” that actually belongs to you.

Most women are choosing a gap so small it can’t possibly stretch them. The realistic raise. The reasonable timeline. The responsible next step. The version of the dream that won’t embarrass them if they say it out loud at dinner. And then they wonder why their life keeps looking like a slightly better version of the one they were already tired of.

If your vision is realistic, you’re not reaching. You’re negotiating. You’re pre-shrinking the dream to a size you already know how to carry, and then congratulating yourself for carrying it.

If You Want To Pivot, Rip The Band-Aid Off

In 2018, I pivoted my brand.

I changed my legal name. (As a published author, a big friggin’ deal.)

I changed the name of my YouTube channel. (After 80,000 people had already subscribed to it.)

I changed what I talked about publicly. (From video expert to time management coach.)

And I tripled my following in five months.

All because I made the change, I communicated the change, and we carried on.

If you want to pivot, it’s possible. But not if the transition lasts longer than the new brand itself.

Rip the band-aid off. Trust your audience to keep up. They’ll figure it out while you figure out your next chapter.

I assumed everyone knew this. She was genuinely shocked.

Here’s the thing: every time you post a story — speaking to camera, sharing your energy, saying the thing — you realign with your best followers. And they tell you immediately whether it landed.

That’s the gift. You can find out if a piece of content has legs in real time. So why aren’t you doing it more often?

The play:

1. Post the story. Talk to camera. Say the thing on your mind.

2. Watch the replies. “Yes queen!” “I needed this!” That’s your signal.

3. Download the original. Pull it before it expires.

4. Repost it as a Reel or Short. Now your best audience can share it — and people like them can find you.

You just turned a fleeting, intimate moment into a discoverable asset. That’s how a community grows on autopilot.

Are you a slob?

When you look around your home and see everything in complete disarray, do you think, ‘I can’t get my life together, I can’t even get my kitchen together!’

There’s hope.

A while back, I had the pleasure of sitting down for a chat with Cass from the wildly popular YouTube channel and podcast, Clutterbug, and it was the beginning of a great friendship. We had the most incredible conversation about morning routines and how they'll change your life.

But that wasn’t even the best part.

The best part was discovering that Cass took her hum-drum, average struggle with clutter and turned it into a way to help other people… and herself.

How do you go from total disorganization to thriving and building a loyal community?

Here’s what we can learn from Cass:

1. She started from the problem, not the expertise.

Clutterbug was born when Cass grew tired of being a "super slob". Inspired to turn her life around, she started helping friends and family, which eventually led to building a business teaching people how to get control of their homes. Her honest, humorous take on organizing resonates with busy women and families around the world.

Key Takeaway: Audiences don't stay loyal to perfect experts. Audiences stay loyal to people who got there from where they are. Cass never positioned herself above her audience; she positioned herself ahead of them on the same path.

2. She built a proprietary framework that makes people feel seen.

Cass developed four distinct organizing personality styles: Bee, Cricket, Butterfly, and Ladybug. This helped viewers identify which techniques resonate with them, leading to more effective and sustainable organization. This is genius community architecture. Instead of giving generic tips, she gave people an identity within her world, and over 4 million people have taken her quiz to discover their personality style. That’s a loyalty engine. Once someone self-identifies as a “Butterfly,” they feel personally understood by Cass in a way they don’t feel anywhere else.

Key Takeaway: Don’t just create content. Create a framework. You want to give your audience a way to understand themselves better, and that comes from simplifying the process. When you do this, people will feel seen by your work. They won’t just follow you, they’ll be ridiculously loyal.

3. She played the long, slow, generous game… and never chased virality.

Cass has expressed that she’s never had any viral videos or overnight success. Her slow and steady process led to a committed and engaged audience who has stayed with her for years. She offers great free content so people think: the free thing is actually good, the paid thing must be even better.

Key Takeaway: Loyalty isn’t built through reach. It’s built through depth of value over time. Cass essentially earned her audience’s trust incrementally, and that trust compounds.

The common thread between these lessons is that Cass never tried to be someone she wasn't. She drew on her real life, gave her audience a way to find themselves in her work, and showed up consistently without burning herself out while chasing someone else's version of success. That kind of authenticity is rare, and it's exactly why her community keeps growing.

If it brings you joy, don’t let it go.

This weekend I was preparing for my daughters’ birthday party. At the last minute, I decided to make mini quiches because they went over so well at the last event.

While I prepped the vegetables and shredded the cheese, my mom asked me why I’m stressing out over this.

But I wasn’t stressed. I was enjoying it.

I had my earbuds in, listening to a book. I felt excited that I was getting ahead on the prep so that the baking would be nice and simple. I felt calm as I sliced the green onions.

Just because something can come off your plate—or never go on it at all—doesn’t mean you have to give it up. (Pun intended.

Optimize for your energy. For goodness' sake, keep the things that make you feel zen, give you a sense of ownership, or let you multitask while you listen to an audiobook.

L — Lead The Movement

Forget fast viral. Go for lasting impact.

A mind is tough to change.

Every post is one more rep, slowly earning the trust of someone who doesn't quite get you yet.

Don't just be consistent because the algorithm demands it. Be consistent because you're building a relationship. And that relationship is what finally helps someone see you've found a better way.

E — Elevate Your Impact

You’re already there. And you’ll never get there.

Stop waiting for conditions to be perfect. Conditions are now. They’ll only ever be now. There isn’t a there to get to. You’ve made it. Now make the most of it.

I’ve fallen off my 4am gym routine.

You’re probably laughing like, no duh, Amy, that’s totally unsustainable.

Maybe. But it was the only way to go for me for a solid 6 months. I lived for it.

And then… holidays came. I traveled. I ate. I relaxed.

When I got back home and into my usual flow, it was time to start climbing out of bed at 3:30 am again and getting the gym bag ready.

And I just couldn’t do it.

After 6 months of near-perfect execution, I was taken down by the same challenge everyone has when they fall off.

I stopped.

Lack of motivation comes from lack of action. Not the other way around.

It seems like you should be able to get motivated first so that the action feels more natural. But even if you find a spark, that source of energy is fleeting, making the strategy completely unsustainable.

If you want to keep your motivation consistent— to feel like things are always going your way, even when they’re not, and you need to push through—there’s only one way to get motivated.

Act.

Use it or lose it. It’s so true. Even if you take action painstakingly, just for the sake of saying you did it. Even if it still didn’t feel any better. You’ve proven to yourself you’ll follow through on a promise.

That’s the whole game right there. Trusting yourself.

Because I wasn’t following through for a couple of weeks of early gym attendance, I fell out of a 6-month habit.

Now, since January, I’ve worked my way back to 4am. Mostly because it’s truly been the best time for me to reverse engineer success in my life. It just fits.

But I’ve never gotten back to a great stride with it the way I did before.

Things change. We change. We evolve. And the truth is, my body is changing.

It’s bad enough not to follow through on a promise to yourself. It’s worse when you don’t listen to your body as you continue to grow.

Imperfection doesn’t equal undone. When there’s a better way, go there. You only know better because of all you’ve already done.

That wisdom is extraordinary to your experience. And it applies perfectly to your life and your life alone.

There’s a version of you who said: “I’ll do this every day.” And then life happened. Travel. Holidays. Exhaustion. And then... it just stopped.

What habit have you let quietly slip that actually matters to who you’re becoming?

Name it. Write it down. Make good on the promise.
