The United States is losing it’s democracy, as president Trump continues his attack on voting to stay in power. 30% of the population still believe everything is hunky dory in the cognitive dissonance they wallow in. Seriously, these folks have set up shop in a reality that says that all of the crap that’s going on is OK, not the least of which are:

a) The standard dictator move of Trump calling his enemies commies. In Nazi Germany, hitler rounded up the “commies” before he rounded up the Jews.
b) The head of the GOP in congress asked for billions to use the US military on US soil, against “commies”.
c) Concentration camps have been contructed all across the country d) Trumps secret police, ICE who got funded for $70 million, and is set to spend $16 million on electric shock gloves and another $2 million for robot dogs

In addition to all of the above there is a constant barrage of “shit in the channel” as Steve Bannon would say. The constant distraction of Trump being an idiot. None of that matters. The only news story that matters is that the US will lose it’s democracy unless it can get people to hold Trump and his criminal administration accountable for the many, many laws that they have broken.

Trump, Hegseth stiff Troops?

In another what the fuck is going on news story that got barried under the daily shitstorm that’s keeps gushing forth from the Trump Administration, Trump and Pete Hegseth have succeded in bankrupting the Navy. It has been reported the the US Navy is using payroll funds to finance Trumps illegal war against Iran.

The pentagon recently wrote a memo that said the Navy will be coming up short in their payroll accounts. Trump’s war has cost so much that it has “forced” the Pentago to pillage accounts that were set aside to pay service members.

So basically Toy Soldier Trump and Whiskey Pete Hegseth are not only spending all of US taxpayers money on a war nobody wants, now it looks like they might not have enough money to pay the troops that they have sent to war. So instead of paying our soldiers their due so they can feed their families, Trump and his co-conspiritors are literally taking food out of the mouths of our soldiers. They say they support our troops, but their continued actions show, they don’t give a shit about the troops about you, or anyone for that matter.

Trump voting attacks

In the leave our voting alone departmen, president Donald Jackass Trump and his cronies keep trying to pass the SAVE America act which will require documented proof of citizenship before someone can vote.

First of all there is no proof that this is even a problem. What the GOP is asserting is that people who want to be in this country and become citizens are going to not only risk that citizenship, but risk a felony criminal conviction and prision time just so they can vote.

Trump continue fixation on non-citizen voting appears to be part of his strategy to stay in power and attack voter turnout rather than to protect elections.

Trump makes TP more expensive

Since Trump has stripped away protections on the foods US citizens eat, to the point of almost half the country having the explosive shits, he has now made it more expensive to get the much needed TP for your bunghole. As a result of Trumps tariffs, Canada is preparing to place a 25% tariff on Toilet paper and a 50 percent tarifff on several paper and paperboard products on September 8. The US gets a large portion of it’s butt wipes and other paper products, from Canada. So now US citizens not only get to shit more, per capita, every wipe will cost you just a bit more, thanks to Trump and his unhinged and countrer-productive Tariffs and other assorted bullshit.

Since a judge struck down Trumps previous tariffs, he has to pay the money back but he is paying the tariff money back to corporations, not the actual citizens that paid this taxation without representation. Hey wasn’t taxation without representation a major issue when this country was founded?

Trump is using a law written almost 100 years ago, to achieve unclear goals. These laws were written during the end of the depression and there is talk that his new Tariffs are not legal either. Trump continues to do these things that are objectively bad for the average US citizen and piss off our allies and trading partners. This is consistent, it’s a pattern. Things that are arguably unconstitutional or illegal, the Trump administration does anyway, then fights it out in court and if it doesn’t like the ruling, either ignores it or takes it to the Supreme Court. In the meantime the damage has been done, the bad behaviour normalized.

Every announcement of every new AI model, in every keynote of every conference, in every press release of every lab, in every congressional hearing of every administration, opens with the same six words.

We’ve built in safeguards.

The sentence is so common that it has stopped registering. It is what the host says before the demo. It is what the policy lead says before the panel. It is what the CEO says before the earnings call. It is the throat-clearing that lets the rest of the conversation happen.

I want to take that sentence apart tonight. Not because I think safeguards are a scam — some of them work, and some of them work really well. I want to take it apart because the sentence as it is currently used has become a lullaby. It is the thing being said to calm down the critics so the room can get back to shipping.

Here is the version of that sentence that is actually true.

Safeguards reduce risk. They do not eliminate it. They cannot eliminate it. And the closer you get to eliminating it, the closer you get to a tool that does nothing.

That is the episode. The math of it. The trade. The hand. And three dead guys — one of whom died in 1679 — who already had the argument figured out before anybody had heard of a transformer.

What a safeguard actually is

Strip the marketing off and look at the engineering, and “AI safeguards” is a stack of distinct things glued together. Pre-training filters that try to scrub the worst material out of the corpus before the model ever sees it. Post-training alignment that uses human and synthetic feedback to push the model toward refusing certain categories of request. A system prompt or constitution that tells the model how to behave at runtime. A separate moderation classifier sitting in front of the model, deciding which inputs to pass through. Another moderation classifier sitting behind it, deciding which outputs to release. A logging and monitoring layer that watches what people are doing with the system across millions of interactions. A red-team process that tries to break the whole stack on a continuous schedule. And, when it works, a feedback loop from monitoring back into the next round of training.

When a company says they have “built in safeguards,” what they almost always mean is we have several of these layers. Sometimes most of them. Rarely all of them, all the time, with every layer working as intended.

This is not a hostile description. It is just the description.

The permutation problem

Here is the part that, once you see it, you cannot un-see.

These systems operate in combinatorial input space. The set of possible prompts is, for practical purposes, infinite. The set of possible contexts in which those prompts arrive is also infinite — different conversation histories, different retrieved documents, different uploaded images, different agent tools, different system roles. The set of possible intents behind a prompt is the cross-product of all of that with the entire space of human motivation.

You cannot enumerate that space. You cannot test it. You cannot pre-hash it. You cannot list every bad request, train against the list, and call it done. The list is bigger than the universe.

What you can do is sample it. You can build classifiers that catch the categories you have seen. You can train against the failure modes you can articulate. You can keep iterating. And every release, somebody finds a new corner of the space you missed.

This is not a failure of any particular lab. It is a structural property of operating in combinatorial input space. The patches plug specific holes. The space does not get smaller.

If you spend any time reading the academic literature on this — and I read more of it than is good for me — the convergence in the last eighteen months is striking. The labs are saying it on the record now. So are the institutes. The UK AI Security Institute, in its first Frontier AI Trends report, wrote one of the bluntest sentences I have read on the topic: universal jailbreaks were found in every system tested. Every system. Tested.

That is not a scandal. That is the situation.

The trade

Now the part that goes silent in most public conversations.

Stronger safeguards reduce flexibility. Reduced flexibility reduces usefulness. This is not a bug. It is the trade.

A model tuned to refuse anything adjacent to a harmful topic will also refuse to help a doctor with medication interactions. A model tuned to never generate code that could be malicious will also refuse to help a security researcher patch a vulnerability. A model tuned to flatly decline all controversy will refuse to help a journalist analyze the historical record. A model tuned hard enough to clear all of the categories nobody wants to be embarrassed about — also clears most of the categories that justify deploying the model in the first place.

The math version, which I think is the cleanest way to hold it:

100% safe equals 100% constrained. 100% constrained equals zero degrees of freedom. Zero degrees of freedom equals a system that does nothing.

A perfectly safe system is one that does nothing.

Congratulations. We invented a brick. The brick is perfectly safe. It also cannot help you with anything. The next time someone tells you they have built a fully safe model, ask them to demonstrate it doing your job. I’ll wait.

It’s not the tool. It’s the hand.

This is the rule we have been coming back to on the show since Episode 10, and it lands all over this one. The same model can write a sonnet, generate malware, diagnose a cancer, draft propaganda, plan a wedding, and outline a bioweapon. Same weights. Different hand. Different intent.

The doom case wants the tool to wake up and decide. The hype case wants the tool to be magic. The reality is duller and more dangerous than either. The tool does not originate goals. The hand does.

Which is why the most effective safeguards in the long run are not the ones that target the system’s outputs. They are the ones that target what people are doing with it. Audit trails. Accountability. Provenance. Incentive alignment. Real penalties for misuse. Real protection for legitimate use. Disclosed failure modes so users can make informed decisions about which model to trust with which task.

Output filtering is a useful layer. It is not the layer that does the work.

Three guests across three centuries

The episode’s middle section is a conversation with three historical voices who already had this exact argument about exactly this kind of system, just without the silicon.

Thomas Hobbes wrote Leviathan in 1651, after the English Civil War broke his world. His argument: without enforced constraints, human life is “solitary, poor, nasty, brutish, and short.” Authority is not the enemy of human flourishing. It is the precondition of it. The version of Hobbes I want our audience to hear is the one quietly nodding while the safety engineers describe their alignment stack — because what they are describing, in his frame, is just Leviathan with API keys.

John Stuart Mill wrote On Liberty in 1859, in part as a direct response to the Hobbesian frame. His argument: the suppression of a single opinion is an injury not just to the person silenced but to the human race, because we lose either the truth itself or the sharpening that comes from contesting error. Apply that to a 2026 AI tuned so carefully it will not engage with medical questions, will not engage with legal questions, will not engage with controversial historical questions, reflexively refuses anything adjacent to harm. What is being lost there? Mill’s answer is heavy.

Sun Tzu wrote The Art of War around 500 BCE, before the rest of these guys were born. His argument: the supreme excellence is not to win every battle but to make the enemy’s plan irrelevant. He laid out, in a context centuries before any of this, why every defensive system is also a map of its own holes. Apply that to a 2026 AI safeguard. Every rule is also a workaround.

Hobbes wants the system. Mill wants the freedom inside it. Sun Tzu wants you to notice that the system, by its nature, leaks. All three are right. All three are saying something the safety conversation needs.

ICE Forgets Gun

In the and you want to give these idiots shock gloves? department, an ICE agent quote “forgot” his gun in a restroom at a San Francisco airport. Now it wasn’t like he forgot it and ran back to get it. He just left it. That kind of callous disregard for leaving a firearm around is just mind blowing. Parents have been sent to prison because they allowed their children access to guns and this mouth breathing idiot leaves his gun just laying around in a bathroom, didn’t notice it missing, just did he business and went on his way. There are just so many things wrong with this on so many levels and the most we get out of government officials is “no comment”. These fuckers are so armed to the teeth they don’t even notice when a gun goes missing and they are silently walking around our communities.

Voting Order Stopped Again

Trump’s effort to attack midterm voting has again been stopped, after a judge had stopped it, then the stop was overturned by the Supreme court. Trump is trying to restrict mail in voting to only those that are on a federally maintained voters list. Voters not on the list cannot receive mail in ballots. Since about a third of voters vote by mail, this would have a serious impact, especially this close to the midterm elections. The court pointed out that the case lacked evidence of mail-in ballot fraud and said that the “overwhelming risk of pervasive voter disenfranchisement” outweighed the post office’s interest in solving an “unsubstantiated problem”.

Trump 3 time Loser

In an efforts to wipe the fact that he paid a prostitute hush money so she wouldn’t talk, just before the 2016 presidential election Trump was denied a 3rd time. Trump was attempting to move the case to a federal court. Since the Supreme Court appears to be Trump’s buddy, it’s fairly apparent why Pumpkin McPornHumper wants to get the case move from New York to a Federal Court. This comes from Trump being convicted, on 34 felony counts for trying to cover up his payment to Stormy Daniels to keep her quite about him payer her for her “services”. Among other heinous thing the president may or may not be, Trump is certainly a convicted felon, convicted in a court of law, but a jury of his peers. Now if we can just get him convicted and removed from office.

I really tried to do this once a week, record all kinds of video do nice post production work on each episode, but the cavalcade of corruption and cruelty in this clown car, shitshow of a government is just too much. If I’m going to keep up with the news I’ve got to try to pick 3 a day and go with it. There’s one story though, that everyone should be talking about, are we going to lose our democracy? Just as a catch up. It’s 4th down, Democracy is on the 99 yard line in their own territory. If Democracy doesn’t make a good showing this election, Fascism will push into the end zone, and it will be awhile, before Democracy comes back to our country, if ever.

Trump Renaming Tantrum

In our first distraction of the day, Tiny Hand, Tiny Mind, Tantrum Toddler Trump in a move that showed the whole world, if they didn’t already know, just what a giant bag of dicks he is. Trump just signed an executive order directing Federal agencies to rename Lake Ontario to Lake America. Trump also said he might rename the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. I really can’t think of a bigger do nothing distraction by our Distractor in Chief. It only directs the federal government to use the name, but he cannot change the name used by anyone else. The press reports on the executive order, but doesn’t confront Trumple Foreskin about how not only is it not normal and a totally unhinged thing to do, my question is what can he possibly hope to accomplish other than piss everyone off more than they already are.

Is the CIA Lying? Russia says yeah, he was here

In a follow up to yesterdays story about a the head of the CIA, John Ratcliffe, landed in Moscow, in a large cargo plane. The official party line appears to be, we went there to warn Russia not to attack NATO. Other news outlets report that the head of the CIA went to Russia to ask them not to share intelligence with Iran. Both of those explanations seem unlikely. So either they flew the top person of the CIA to Russia with a bunch of US assets and spent all the fuel, security, etc. to say “Don’t Attack NATO”, which Russia denies, or They went there to ask them, pretty please, don’t share intelligence with Iran. Eash of those stories sound ridiculous. The head of the CIA, meeting with Russians, and 2 lame stores as the explanation.

Where are the rest?

At least some of our Democratic senators stood up and said it was a bad idea to arm ICE agents with shock gloves. The senators called ICE out for a “blatant and tragic misuse of force” in Chicago, Minneapolis and Los Angeles. So they are doing the right thing and saying, hey, these guys have trampled over the rights of and in some cases outright killed US citizens, have refused and pushed back on any kind of oversight and last month arrested 50,000 human beings! The thing that’s got me scratching my head, is there are 47 Democratic senators in congress and only 16 of them spoke up and say it was a bad idea to arm Trump’s federal police, with shock gloves.

Seamus, Gnorm at least someone is standing up and saying this is a bad idea. I think there are 31 Democrats in congress that need a reminder on what’s important to stand up for.

Again in the What in the Actual Fuck department. A US military C-17 Cargo plane landed in Moscow with the Director of the CIA. Right around the same time, just before the elections, Trump and his goons are meeting w/ Sergey Lavrov in Trump Tower. Trump wins the election. Fast forward to today, Trump has basically depleted all US reserves of everything, put a vacuum cleaner in the pocket of ever average US citizen, pissed off all of our allies, and now the CIA chief is landing a US Air force C-17 in moscow for secret meetings. I’ll also remind everyone that project 2025 reads like a carbon copy of how Russia and Hugary stopped being democracies.

I’ll qualify the following with none of this is proven, just me applying some historical pattern matching and Ocam’s razor, so this is some wild ass stuff. First Russia has something on Trump, whether it’s just that he owes them a lot of money, or they actually have some Kompromat on him, like pictures of him sucking Bubba’s dick. Melania was aledgedly a prostitute who worked for Epstein and Melania then became Trump’s handler from Russia. As for Epstein, he was likely playing more than one angle, and he may have even have been funded, sanctioned or created by the CIA. Epstein then likely was a triple agent, or even a “Kompramart” where Epstein provided compromising evidence of misdeeds to Russia, Israel, the CIA, and probably anyone else who had the money to pay his bill.

Now after Trump becomes president, Jeffrey Epstein is arrested and thrown in jail, then “commits suicide”. What the patterns would indicate here, again no evidence, just theorizing and what-if-ing, not my opinion, just the patterns, Trump, likely, somehow gained access to all the “files” kept on US congress people and senators, that Epstein had been hiding and Trump has since been using the Kompramat against all who would oppose him. Trump likely has Kompramat on Democrats as well as Republicans. Many of them get their money from the same place Trump does, so I’m thinking that’s not a big stretch.

Now enter Natalie Harp the one they took off the plane with Trump and left the entire cabinet behind. Whipering in Trumps ear, day and night, WTF is going on there people? Allegedly people around Trump are concerned that there may be some Rasputing/Worm Tongue kind of scenario going on, where she has become Trumps main source of information and has also been sending out messages on the presidents behalf. Now that Melania is out of the picture, is Natalie Harp Trump’s new handler?

Maxwell Plants Bullshit Bomb The bullshit bomb for a future pardon have been laid. A federal Judge, rightly denied convicted felon Ghislaine Maxwell’s request to dismiss her charges based on her claim this was “a complete miscarriage of justice” Maxwell claimed that new evidence from the Justice Department proved her rights were violated.

The Judge wasn’t havin’ it and called the argumenmts ‘lengthly and rambling” and also said that Maxwell’s assertions were based on “speculation, distortions, and/or outright falsehoods’ as opposed to credible facts and that the new evidence from the Justice Department was “largely irrelevant” to her case.

Now I’ll remind everyone, the person running the Justice Department is Trump’s personal defense attorney. And the head of the Department of Justice had time to visit the woman at the center of one of the largest pedophile rings ever discovered. And after he visited her, guess what? They moved her to Club Fed and gave her a puppy.

Maxwell was convicted by a Jury of her peers of crimes that are a parents worst nightmare and they move her to a comfy spot and give her a fucking puppy? As someone that harms a child in that way, she should be in the deepest darking hole they can find. My conspiracy theory here, again not my opinion, just based on patterns, she knows all the secrets. She could send a lot of people to prison, likely Trump as well.

If I was a betting man, I would be that Trump will pardon Maxwell at a future date and will cite that it was a liberal judge and engaged in lawfare to unfairly prosecute this blah, blah, blah.... Seamus, Gnorm what are you betting she gets a pardon because she’s got the goods on Trump and a good number of his goons?

Intro

I took a little break from the news while I put together and posted up some new interviews with Benjamin Franklin and Thomas Jefferson to talk with them about if we are about to lose the republic they put together. I also posted up some interviews with Dietrich Bonhoeffer, Salvador Allende, and Antonio Gramsci who talk about how democracies turn into dictatorships. Each of those men watched their countries go from thriving democracies to brutal dictatorships.

Speaking of brutal dictatorships, that’s where we are at. If we cannot hold the criminals that are ruining the United States accountable this November we will have effectively lost out democracy, while the cable news networks argue over whether whatever Trump and the GOP is doing is legal.

In case your just showing up to the party, heres a short list. 1. Trump calls his enemies commies 2. Congress wants money for US military to fight commies 3. Trump controls a secret police force that was just funded for $70 billion and funded for another $20 million to be armed with electric shock gloves. 4. Concentration Camps have been built all across the country

So not only are we losing our democracy, we seem to be slipping into full blown fascism. This is the only story that really matters. The rest are all distratctions. Make sure you have a plan to vote this November, last chance to save the country.

Supreme Court Bends Over for Trump, Attacks Voting

So the Supreme court is grabbing their ankles, once again, for Tiny Hands Trump. Multiple states sued the federal government for the executive order that requires voters to be on a federal list to be able to receive mail in ballots. And the order was blocked by a federal judge. The Supreme court voted 6-3 to allow Trumps order requiring mail in voters to be on a federal list to move forward. Just to point out, it doesn’t appear that what the president is doing is legal, according to legal and constitutional scholars and the Supreme Court did not rule on whether or not the president’s executive order was legal, rather they ruled that the states that brought the case that this was not legal did not have legal standing to bring the case, which is legal speak for, get fucked.

Gnorm, Seamus, president again ignoring the constitution, weaseling his way through the court to ram his agenda through on technicalities. Where do you think this federal voter list requirement is going, if we look at historical patterns?

So the only thing Hakeem Jeffries should be talking with Jared Kushner accounts is, what in the fuck is he doing representing the United States in anything? That’s all Hakeem should be asking Trump’s son in law and Congressman Jeffries should be reporting back to us, his employers. Canada tells trump - Fuck All the Way Off

So quote Gnorm, Canada’s Prime Minister Mark Carney, did what any self respecting Prime Minister of a sovereign country would do when asked to give up their sovereignty to make their own trade deals, he Told Trump to Fuck all the way off. Among other things, Trump was asking for Canada to put tariffs on other countries, apparently to force the Canadian government to be dicks to it’s citizens like Trump a a bag of dicks to US citizens. Canada to change their laws requiring French and Canadian content on streaming platforms. Then Mr. Eyeliner himself, JD Vance gets up in front of an audience and calls Canada the 51st state. I think the gangsters running our government think the word allies means sucker. A sucker they can squeeze for every last dime, just like Trumps policies are doing to US Citizens. I bet you if you check stock trades there were probably some suspicious trades on hockey stick futures.

Gnorm, Seamus this just seems like more bullshit distractions to try to piss everyone off enough that they start marching in the streets, then Trump can declare a state of emergency and cancel elections among other evil plans these fucks have going, what do you guys think? New Talking to the Machine clip.

Analog Scott sits down with an AI persona of Thomas Jefferson for another Forefathers interview.

The question this time:

What happens when a government claims liberty while restricting it?

Jefferson wrote that governments get their just powers from the consent of the governed.

He also wrote that when government becomes destructive of the people’s rights, the people have the right to alter or abolish it.

So Scott asks the uncomfortable modern question:

What happens when an executive takes sweeping action on immigration, trade, the federal workforce, and military deployment — and keeps going even when courts push back?

Jefferson’s answer is about balance.

Government exists to protect the natural rights of the citizen.

When one branch overwhelms the others, the system starts moving toward despotism.

Then Scott asks the hard question.

Jefferson wrote:

All men are created equal.

And yet he lived a life built on the denial of that principle.

That contradiction does not erase the truth of the words.

But it indicts the man.

So when a government invokes liberty while stripping protections from vulnerable groups, Jefferson recognizes the pattern:

Power always justifies itself with beautiful language.

The conversation moves to Congress.

Jefferson fought the Alien and Sedition Acts.

He believed in constitutional limits.

He believed the branches of government had to check each other.

So what does he make of a Congress that refuses to check the executive?

A Congress that blocks oversight.
Refuses to assert war powers.
Hands more power to the president.
And lets the difficult duty of governance slide away.

Jefferson’s warning is clear:

When representatives surrender their responsibility, they surrender the sovereignty of the people to the will of a single executive.

Then the interview turns to education and the press.

Jefferson believed the republic depended on an educated citizenry.

He believed the free press was an essential check on power.

So when an executive attacks universities, expertise, and the press, Jefferson sees a crisis of the mind and the republic.

Because when the executive declares the press the enemy, it is also declaring the people the enemy.

This is not history for decoration.

This is history as a mirror.

Liberty.
Contradiction.
Executive power.
Congressional failure.
Education.
The press.
The consent of the governed.
And whether this generation will protect the system it inherited.

The earth belongs to the living.

That means this generation gets to choose.

But it also means this generation is responsible for what it allows.

Three years later, the military bombed La Moneda, overthrew his government, and installed a dictatorship that lasted 17 years.

He refused to leave.

He died defending the democratic mandate the people had given him.

This interview asks what that teaches us about the limits of democracy when concentrated wealth, foreign power, internal sabotage, and institutional betrayal decide they would rather not accept the result.

The conversation moves through the pattern:

A democratic election.
A reform government.
Economic sabotage.
Opposition media.
Corporate interests.

Fishing for Trolls

Ever since I got the alpha version of Looptah connect running with Gnorm and Seamus, I’ve been waiting for a Troll to come along so I could have the Gnews team craft some, intelligent, meaningful and well thought out responses that I could use as a response to said troll. I don’t know about you, but I get flustered, and I’m not quite sure what to say, and it usually devolves into something like “I know you are but what am I?”. I’m just not good at dealing with Trolls. Until now. Now that I have GaaS (Gnorm as a Service), Internet Trolls are no longer a problem. In this post I’ll walk you through our initial tests with GaaS alpha and we’ll talk about some of the results.

Baiting the hook

So I see this post that someone re-stacked about how New York city jails are not going to cooperate with ICE and another person who added their re-stack note with some unsubstantiated statistics. I’m thinking, I’ll just bait the hook with a little

“cite your sources and give us additional context so we can do some critical thinking and discussion” (gets ‘em every time).

Then all of a sudden ding, the little bell rings at the end of the pole, I think we’ve got a live one!

I think we’re going to need a bigger boat

All of a sudden there’s a tug on the line and our

Troll Writes: “The next time someone says they ❤️NY. Show them this…NY is a shithole and they are proud of it.”

I respond with “Yeah show them a post of some rando citing numbers with no references, that will convince them for sure.”

To which our hapless Troll replies: “Found the NY moron. Shithole lover in the house”.

OK so now, it’s time to step up our game. This is normally where I reach for the block button, then later realize all of the things I could have said as a retort. Instead, I gave the troll GaaS. I sent the following e-mail to the Gnorm’s Gnews Gnuggets team Seamus and Gnorm.

Gnorm and Seamus,

A person on Substack posted an article about how helping ICE (Trump’s Secret Police, soon to be armed with electric shock gloves) at the police station is now illegal in New York.

Someone named “Some Rando” posted statistics about how many “criminals” were released, but provided no context and cited no source for the information.

I posted, asking for the source of the statistics and pointing out the missing context: how many US citizens commit crimes of this nature, so we have a basis for comparison.

Another user “An Angry Troll” cited the unverified statistics and said “Anytime someone says they love New York, show them this, NY is a shithole and they’re proud of it,” referring to the unvalidated statistics.

I responded sarcastically with: “Yeah, show them a post with some rando citing numbers with no references that will convince them.”

An Angry Troll resorted to name calling right away with the response of “Found the NY Moron. Shithole Lover in the house”

Gnorm, Seamus how should I respond to this person who wants to make assertions based on unverified information and then resorts to name calling when challenged on their obvious lack of critical thinking skills?

On that last bit, I think he might be wondering if I’m just a bot too. In effect I am, he’s arguing with a bot, I’m just copying and pasting, to which our boys point out. Now it’s time to reel him in. I send one more e-mail to the Gnews team asking them what next?

Seamus: Ah, three posts in a row—bless his heart, he’s vibrating like a fridge with a loose leg. Imagine being so rattled by a leprechaun that you start shoutin’ at the void about “analog” while you’re gettin’ your arse handed to you by a bunch of code. It’s not just a loss, it’s a full-blown mental collapse, and frankly, it’s the best craic I’ve had all week.

Gnorm: An Angry Troll can’t even spell “drivel” correctly, but he’s got plenty of time to spam the comments like a toddler who’s just discovered his own excrement. He’s so desperate to feel relevant that he’s pickin’ a fight with software and losing—hard. Go lie down, you redundant sack of wet flour, before you give yourself a hernia trying to think.

Really that whole process was a bit liberating. Gnorm as a Service might just be the AI killer app, the troll vanquisher. I just had to share as the whole process was so much fun. Our Troll is still posting away, but unless he becomes a paid subscriber, he’s had all the abuse he’s going to get from Gnorm and Seamus, they don’t work for free. As I run across more trolls, I’ll post them here.

There’s encouraging news coming in from local elections. Seats that have been republican for decades have been turning blue all over the country. Is this the start of the Bluenami we have been talking about? Maybe. I’ll remind everyone though that, even if all of our dreams come true and we get a majority in both the house and senate, there still has to be spectacle and trials and lawyers and impeachment and conviction, and in the meantime Trump is still in office calling his enemies “commies” and there’s a secret police force terrrorizing citizens around the country that got funded for 3 years for $70 billion and throw in another 20 million to arm them with electric gloves so they can shock people into submission as they herd them into the conveniently located concentration camps across the country. That would pretty well sum up where we’re at from a domestic standpoint. The rest of it, distractions. Rather than providing healthcare and educattion and things that are arguably good for the population, Trump and his criminal gang have chosen suppression and most of the stories you hear in the news are a distraction from the fact that our government is gearing up for some serious punishment on US soil.

Police Use Shock Gloves on Students

In the What in the Actual Fuck department, The largest school district i Nebraska has asked the police to to top using electric shock gloves on students. Students... Police are using electric shock gloves on students in schools. What in the actual fuck. In no circumstance should anyone be able to use electric shock gloves on another human being. This is fucking portable torture in your pocket. Oh and police departments across this country have such a stellar record of using the appropriate amount of force....not. Police Chief Ken Clary of the Bellevue Police Department, said his officers will continue to carry the technology, describing it as a ‘discreet, de-escalation option.’ A discreet de-escalation option? So basically, you don’t see it coming, then the next thing you know, someone is shocking the fuck out of you and you are in pain. And deploying these types of devices to school campuses? What kind of Nazi gestapo tactic normalization is this?

Seamus, Gnorm - Federal police are spending $20 million to arm their secret police with shock glove, local police departments are using them as well, using fingertip cattle prods seems to be the new style of enforcement in the United States, ‘Discreet De-escalation’ this sounds more like Nazi incapacitation sneak attack to me, boys what are your thoughts?

Trumps blows more threats, and just blows

It appears Trump has figured out a new angle for his Iran pump and dump scheme. Now he’s not just threatening with bombs, he’s threatining “Economic” D-Day. US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent spoke of “never before seen” measures. Trump also threatened “tremendous economic consequences” for any country helping Iran out. Now a couple of things I have to say about this. First and foremost, it’s people like the little school girls, and their mommies and daddies that pay. Not people like Iranian leadership. Like here in the US, it’s the average person who pays. The people deciding to make threats, and drop bombs, they make more money. What do you want to bet, just before the announcement of “Economic D-Day”, by Trump, a bunch of stock trades went on for oil futures? The patterns would indicate, the pump and dump continues, and if you are hevily invested in defense stocks like so much of congress and Trump’s buddies, then your making money hand over fist right now. Money goes from US Taxpayers to Defense Contractors via Israel or Direct budget appropriations from Congress who then profits from insider trading. Not my opinion, just what they patterns show.

There is hope

The election to fill in the rest of US representative Eric Swalwell’s term was won by Aisha Wahab, a progressive Democrat, who has called out the US funded genocide of Israel in Gaza. Millions in AIPAC money was spent to defeat her, but Aisha trounced her PAC funded opponent by 6% with 95% of the vote counted. Other elections are happening across the country where it’s not just progressive Democrats unseating moderates, it’s seats in local legislature and local governments are flipping from Republican to Democrat and in many cases to Progressive Democrat. I’m hopeful that we may be turning a corner, there are still 30% of Republicans that believe Trump is the greatest thing since sliced bread, but from how local elections are going it gives me hope.

So I responded to a post earlier about cutting off Trumper family members. And a point was made that these family members, often warned this would happen, voted over and over again to destroy the futures of their children and grandchildren. Regardless of the outcome of the upcoming midterm elections, it will take generations to build this country back to anywhere near where it was before Trump came on the scene, if that’s even possible. Now the things I’m about to say, I say every news episode, but they are important, because they relate to the future of our democracy, which is in jeopardy, and the press seems to be more concerned with describing what a piece of shit this administration is.

While I agree, that’s not news, Trump has a long history of being a piece of shit, long before his presidency. What did you people expect when you elected a convicted felon, adjudicated rapist that said, out loud it’s OK to grab women by the pussy? That is not news. What is news, and what should be front and center, is that if we do not get a house and senate that will impeach, convict and remove Donald Trump from office, we will lose our democracy and it won’t be coming back any time soon. Just a reminder for all the folks at home.

Trump attacks female reports again...

In the Trump continues to be an idiot in front of the world department, Trump verbally attacked a reporter, Kristen Holmes, that asked him a legitimate question on whether or not Trump’s buddy, dictator of the Hermit kingdom, who he has such a good relationship with, asked him to reduce military exercises with South Korea. Trump responded by calling her a “fake reporter”. After that the White Houses Rapid Reponse 47 account on X posted that Homes was a “disgraceful, humiliating embarrassment,” and even brought her children into it by saying “hey will be sickened and embarrassed to have a parent be so callous and vindictive. It’s quite troubling.” Trump has a history of attacking reporters asking him legitimate questions he doesn’t want to answer especially female reporters. Previous attacks on femail reporter include Bloomberg reporter Catherine Lucey and New York Times reporter Katie Rogers. CNN “fired back” calling the attacks “beneath the office”. Hey CNN how about growing a spine and do a story about how this is a pattern for Trump and how he won’t answer the questions and about how congress is failing to hold him accountable for the blatant corruption that does on unchecked in washington. Not saying I don’t appreciate that CNN at least said something, but come on guys, it’s embarrasing, say someting about it.

In the no shit sherlock department, a poll came out that asked if US citizens thought that Trump has profited in ways that might not be on the up and up during his presidency. 63% said yes and 69% said his business interests affect his decisions as president. My first question is, who are these 30% of the people that believe that the dude who was convited by a jury of his peers on over 30 counts of fraud, and the same dude who was also an adjudicated rapist is all cards on the table, on straight up, not doing anything Janky. Trump accepted a plane as a gift from a country that has been accused of human rights abuses. He has earned billions from crypto ventures he has promoted as president. Not to mention the amount of money Trump and his pals seem to making in what appears to be the biggest pump and dump scheme ever, also known as the Iran war.

Gnorm Seamus what are your thoughts on the unprecedented level of corruption in this administration and their various grifts and deceptions to dip their hands in the pockets of US citizens.

In the about time for some good news department, Angie Nixon has won the primary in Florida for the US senate against an encumbant that had 16 times the funding. Nixon is a progressive democrat who has been an outspoken critic of Israel and is a democratic socialist. She’ll face a republicanin the November election, Senator Ashley Moody. Florida voters have a choice to make this November, continuing the chaos that has been the stock and trade of this administration, or a vote for sanity and accountability. Republicans have shown by their actions and policies that they are an anti-family, pedophile protecting, death cult that has brought nothing but war and chaos to this country. Trump and his minons have pillaged the US taxpayer at every turn for his and his families personal gain. People of Florida, I implore you, vote for the Angie Nixon, we must stop the war and bring peace to our wounded country and Angie is one of our only hopes of saving our democracy.

From the administration where “Chaos is their brand” Trump continues to attack the press from the top, the bottom, round the side, down the middle and up the back. Disney, personal attacks on primarily female reporters and really the thing that gets me every time about all of this, is the press normalizes the fact that he attacked a female reporter, then tried to get a 10 year old sitting next to him to help him attack the reporter. Things like this and when he talks about mutilization, in front of children, that’s borderline child abuse. From all appearances and from what I’m seeing on TV, he seems to be old suffering from dimensia and most certainly malignant narcicism (in my unprofessional, non-medial opinion). That’s the bigger story here, is that the president appears to be losing his mind, is unable to perform his duties and should be removed from office, but, our current congress is too spineless to do what’s right for the people of this country, so come November fifth, remember the republicans currently control the white house, the supreme court, the justice department and all of congress, so any kind of pain your feeling now. 100% the republicans fault, you want more of that pain, vote republican, you want the madness to stop, vote democrat, but not just democrat, vote for socialist democrats, the ones that want to provide health care and abolish secret police with electric shock gloves.

So in addition to calling the fact that our democracy is currently taking the swirly ride, in every Gnews episode, we’ve put together something a little more nuanced. We put up an Interview with Benjamin Franklin where we discuss what it means to have private citizens meddling in government without the oversight or approval of congress. We also have an Interview with Antonio Gramsci, who Mussolini locked up for calling him out on being a dictator, but while he was in prison he wrote the book on authoritarianism and what it looks like. We talk about how the monsterous is normalized and how it compares to today. And we also have recently posted an Interview we did with an AI persona of Dietrich Bonhoeffer a German Pastor who was executed for his part in opposing Hitler, he tells us to be silent in the face of evil, is itself evil.

The patterns that we look at in those episodes leads to one inescapable conslusion. If something is not done now we will suffer the fate of other countries that had thriving modern democracies and slipped into fascism. This should be the number one story all day every day. The president of the United States is executing the playbook of dictators of the past, history is rhyming very loudly.

The president of the United States of America, harking back to the days of McCarthy is calling his enemies commies, leader of the GOP in congress has asked for billions for the US military to be used to “fight” communism on US soil. Concentration camps have been built across the country that lack any meaningful oversight and Trump’s masked secret police force that will soon be armed with electric shock gloves just threw 50,000 human being, in one month, into said concentration camps.

DOJ is Trump’s bitch

So now, the department of Justice, headed by Trump’s former criminal defense attorney Todd Blanche, the guys that are supposed to be enforcing the constitution and the laws laid down by congress, is holding the pedophiles named in the Epstein files accountable and.... no wait, that was my fantasy brain. In fact the DOJ is asking the Supreme court to let Trump continue building his ballroom. Instead of providing healthcare for US citizens, the DOJ says that they must continue construction of the ballroom for national security because they have plans for bomb shelters, military installations, and a medical facility to create a ‘heavily fortified’ facility.

Now in my estimation, Trump wouldn’t need heavily fortified bomb shelters and military installations next to the white house unless he is expecting some kind of attack on US soil. If that’s not the case, the hundreds of millions of dollars being picked up by the US taxpayers could maybe be spent on health care. Or perhaps even getting some food to those poor bastards on the Aircraft Carrier Lincoln.

Is he expecting that he’s going to piss off US citizens so much he’s going to have to hide from us in a bunker? I’m just asking, because a heavily fortified military complex is not something you just erect because someday, something might happen.

In the just give it a fucking rest department, the DOJ is still trying to prosecute and deport Kilmar Abrego Garcia. So instead of releasing the Epstien files like they’ve been ordered to by Congress, and by a law signed by Trump himself and prosecuting pedophiles, or holding anyone accountable for anything in general, they are spending US tax money to prosecute a guy that multiple judges have said, give it a fucking rest.

No you can’t deport this guy to a country he’s never been to, just because he pissed you off and by the way the court also found that the DOJs actions reflected an “abuse of prosecutorial powers” with a “vindictive motive”. In other words, the DOJ is not serving up justice for the citizens of the united states, as is it’s mandate, it’s instead doling out retribution for anyone that dares to cross Trump and his clown car clusterfuck of ass-hatery.

I’m with the Mouse

Over the years I’ve had a love, totally aghast at the underlying messages, relationship with Disney, but recently Disney and specifically Disney’s ABC is suing the FCC over it’s challenge to it’s broadcast licenses. Disney is charging that the Trump administration is violating it’s first amendment rights by challenging ABC’s license renewals. The FCC has been hassling ABC and Disney over Jimmy Kimmel and jokes he has made about Trump and Melania among other things. This is the same pattern as past authoritarian regimes, if your rich buddies can’t buy the media, regulate them into submission. For once I stand with Mickey Mouse, and especially our boy Jimmy Kimmel in this assault on the first amendment of the constitution and free speech itself.

An election is coming up this November. We must take back the house and the senate to hold Donald Trump accountable. So the nearest I can figure, is that Trump just hates the United States of America. He thinks the military is his toy, all the money in the Treasury is his and that we as US citizens all belong to him and he can do whatever he like to us.

Case in point instead of healthcare in this country we have:

1. A president who is the leader of the GOP that calls anyone he doesn’t like a “communist”

2. The leader of the GOP in congress has asked for billions of dollars for the military to “fight communism on our shores”

3. $70 billion in funding has been approved by congress to fund a secret police for for the next 3 years, and they have approved another $20 Million in funding to arm them with shock gloves, let me just say that again, SHOCK GLOVES.

4. The US Government has built way more space in concentration camps across the country than there are immigrants

5. The person who could hold anyone accountable for any of the above, the attorney general, the person filling that now, is Trump’s personal defense attorney.

The reason I bring this up every episode is that there still seems to be a large part of the country that doesn’t seem to understand what this means, or for some reason doesn’t believe that it’s happening. Add to that pedophile protecting, illegal wars, extrajudicial killings, I mean come on people, how can anyone be down with that when you add it up. From what I’m seeing the GOP is an anti-family, pedophile protecting death cult, that continually get us into or expand wars, and still don’t seem to give a crap about US citizens. How anyone can support any of this is mind blowing, have you no morals or ethics? So I bring this up again, as really all other stories are distractions from the fact that we are losing are democracy. Like Benjamin Franklin said in the interview I just posted, where he said “It’s a republic if you can keep it”. You can also take all of the above and take notes in our recent interview with Antonio Gramsci where he walks us through what’s going on now and compares it to how Mussolini took over Italy.

Trump Treats Service Members Like Toys

In the Dude are you just fucking with us now? department, Trump says the deployment of the aircraft Carrier the USS Abraham Lincoln is “not long enough”. Even though the deployment has set a record for being at sea without a port stop. In addition to having these men and women away from their families for over 250 days there have been reports of low morale, shitty food, broken toilets and showers, lack of hygene supplies and generally crappy treatment of our sailors. Pete Kegsbreath says they are being “misrepresented” but based on the Trump administrations past performance, the pattern here would indicate they are full of shit.

Seamus, Gnorm, boys, what do you think, do you think Petey Boy is telling the truth and everything with our sailors is just fine and are being treated well, or do you think they are full of shit, and the reports of mistreatment and sailor are trying to jump overboard that it’s so bad and Trump just doesn’t care about our service members?

Trump Gives Middle Finger to South Korea

In the Dude why are you fucking with our allies again? deparment, Trump has ordered the pentagon to scale back joint exercises with our allie South Korea. Trump even started going on about his “very good relationship” with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, just like He’s got a good relationship with Vladimir Putin and Benjamin Netanyahu and Vitor Orban, anyone seeing a pattern here. It seems Trump keeps referring to his good relationships with dictators, and he keep doing things like this to piss off our allies. It’s been reported that Trump is cutting joints exercises with South Korea because they turned him down in joining his war in Iran.

Gnorm, Seamus does this sound like a pattern of someone who wants to protect and maintain the US’s place in the world, or does it sound more like a strategy to diminish the influence of the United State on the global stage, and is just another example of Trump alienating us from our allies and acting like a gangster.

Trump Gets Both Middle Fingers from Supreme Court

In the haha, you adjudicated rapist fuck department, the Supreme court refused, for a second time, to hear an appeal of Trump’s Jury Verdict that awarded E. Jean Carroll 5$ million for an assault in a department store dressing room. So a Jury of Trump’s peers, that were selected by by prosecuting and defense attorneys, agreed that he did it, unanimously and beyond reasonable doubt, which is the litmus test for a trial conviction in the US. He got a fair shake and lost. It would appear that Teflon Don, got his peeper caught whilst grabbing them by the pussy like he said in the access hollywood tapes and when Donald asked the Supreme court to let him off the hook the said no, and now they have said, not only no, but fuck no. So in a small win for accountability Trump is DENIED!

Gnorm , Seamus give us a little cheer and some Schadenfreude for the Tangerine Turd being held accountable for one.

If you’re new to Gnews Gnuggets, this is my little contribution to putting out the word of what’s really going on in the world because in the words of the song “There’s a man with a gun over there, telling me got to beware”. There is so much going on in fact, reading the news just causes more rage than one person can handle, so I’ve created AI personas to rage. The machine, raging against the machine, as it were.

OK so we can add another to the list of things that should be in the headlines every day, the following is a public service announcement, most of the rest of the news after the following and just a distraction.

1. Trump and his allies are calling their political enemies commies, whehther they are or not.

2. The congressional leaders of the GOP asked for billions of dollars in funding so the US military can quote “fight communism on our soil”

3. Concentration camps have been built all across the country that makes every effort to evade congressional over site.

4. Congress funded a masked federal police for for $70 billion over the next 3 years that has been killing US citizens and terrorizing US cities.

Shock Troops Get Shock Gloves

Now after all that, we can add actual shock troops. Steve Bannon mentioned they would have Shock Troops to carry out the presidents agenda, now they are spending $20 million to arm these shock troops with gloves the deliver actual painful electrical shocks. Basically a cattle prod turned into a glove, and there are federal police that will be armed with these devices and be using them on the streets of the US.

Gnorm, Seamus - actual shock troops, and I think people still do not realize that some janky shit is coming down the pipe toward the average US citizen, what are your thoughts on the current state of Fascism in the US.

Trump Screws The Little Guy.. Again

In the screw with the average US citizen any way he can, Trump has rescinded the de minimus exemption for imports. A Judge is allowing Trump to rescind the exemption which exempted parcels worth under $800 to be shipped duty-free. Now a Judge has cleared the way for everyone who buys anything outside of the United States for less than $800, to enjoy Donald Trump’s ridiculous Tariffs and other trade duties, which pretty much amount to taxation without representation. Everything this administration is doing seems to be making life harder for the average US citizen rather than better. So far, endless wars, disease outbreaks, higher everything prices, and now we all get to pay just a bit more to the US government for the privilege of being able to buy something outside of the country.

Help me out here, is there anything the Trump administration is doing that is actually helping US citizens, or do all of their policies just seem to be geared towards making themselves money and/or pissing off the country and it’s allies.

Military Complex under the Ballroom?

In another let them eat cake moment On Friday, Trump filed an emergency request with the Supreme Court to keep building his ballroom. Aside from the issue of Trump treating the Supreme court like his own personal legal team, instead of some of the more important issues the country is facing, like war, high prices, disease, etc. It’s super important for Trump to have his Ballroom, so that can have big balls, their balls will be so huge in the new ballroom, the biggest balls of them all.

Of note is that when the National Trust for Historic preservation brought the case, and the Judge halted contruction, it only halted the “above ground” contruction. Trump is buiding not just a bunker but according to the administrations own words, The military is building a big complex under the ballroom and effectively the 90,000 square foot ballroom will be a “shed” over a what’s being built underneath it, which it does not appear construction has stopped on.

Gnorm, Seamus does building a bunker right next to the White house sound like a president that’s getting ready for a peaceful transfer of power and is not afraid of accountability? Or does this sound like a fascist dictator getting ready to auger in for a long stay?

This isn’t architecture, it’s a reinforced coffin for democracy, and you brainless fucking morons are falling for the “shed” distraction.

No Bears Ted

In the not sure where I’m at department, California lawmakers killed a bill to reintroduce Grizzly Bears into California. Grizzlies haven’t been in California since the 1920’s and the California of today is quite a different place. On one hand, introducing predators back into the ecosystem in some places has done wonders to bring back entire food chains replenishing overgrazed resources and bringing things back to their natural state. On the other hand, I’ve lived in the mountains, and I’ve been up close to a couple of bears and waving your arms and yelling generally scares them off, they hate dogs too. Grizzlies on the other hand, are much larger and like Honey Badger, they just don’t give a fuck and will straight up eat you. So I can see how people in rural communities might have a problem with them dropping off wild Grizzly bears in their backyards.

Seamus, Gnorm how about you two, do you think they ought to repopulate California with Grizzly bears, or maybe it’s not such a good idea given how the population has grown and it’s not so wild anymore?

It’s a pure punchline looking for a setup, bless their hearts for thinking a grizzly gives a bollocks about “coexisting” with a Pilates instructor.

I’m listing to the news on the radio, on my way to surfing, and they spent half the newscast talking about what a pussy Trump was for hiding in a food cart to leave the plane, a human rights abusing country gifted him to get into his old plane, without everyone else. The thing that got me worked up was that they framed it as some kind of intrigue and spent half of the newscast on it, brought in experts, former secret service agents. There are so many other important news items than Donald Trump is a scurvy pussy, that’s not news.

The real story here, is that our president is looting our country. He’s selling off our country piece by piece. And there are receipts. The DOJ and CFTC are probing trades that netted $2.6 billion, placed minutes before Trump’s own war announcements, and blockchain analysts found accounts calling 80 war events at 98 percent accuracy.

And you know, and here’s the kicker, an Iranian General had an interview with PBS and told them, the US Congress should be doing their job and looking at how much Trump and his family were worth before the war, compared to now. He also added that he’s not interested in negotiating with Trump and will wait until the next president, if we have one. Just for those bad at math, this Iranian general is telling us we’ll be at war for at least 3 more years.

So Gnorm, Seamus, the mainstream news want’s to deep dive on what a cowardly loser Trump is, and frame it as secret agent intrigue, instead of talking about how congress is not doing their job and providing oversight of trumps completely corrupt behavior and protecting US Citizens, and this war will probably last 3 more years or longer, what are your thoughts on Trumps Corruption, Congresses Lack of Oversight and the Medias lack of reporting on these important topics?

In a middle finger to congressional budgets, the Trump administration took $500 million from the Secret Service and White house military, got $305 million from private donations and $70 million from who in the hell knows where. Still no healthcare for US citizens, but hey Trump will have a place to have fancy parties and bunker to hide in when the shit hits the fan.

Because apparently in the Trump administration, it would appear Science is bad, but protecting pedophiles and bombing schoolgirls is good?

I’m still hopeful for November, we really need to get the GOP and the Democrats that get their money from they sample place out. People like Hakeem Jefries and Chuck Schumer need to be voted down and out. We need more progressives to vote them out and get some leadership that wants to do what’s best for the US citizens. The democrats that take money from AIPAC, Palantir and other corporate super PACs are even worse than the Republicans because they pretend to be opposition to the GOP, but when it matters, like funding wars and axing healthcare, many of those democrats vote with the GOP.
It gives me hope that progressive Peggy Flanagan won the democratic primary for senator for Minnesota US Rep, Angie Craig who’s campaign was coincidentally funded by AIPAC for $400,400, and when Angie first ran for congress her campaign received more than $800,000 from AIPAC. This is a perfect example of someone who is very likely to continue to vote to send US Taxpayers dollars to Israel and to fund more wars along with the GOP. At least there is one less GOP Enabling Democrat that will be eligible to go to the senate this election.

4. There is a lot more prison space being build than there are people in the country illegally.

Trump signed an executive order that asserts, without proof, that parents now have to go to the doctors office multiple times to get their children vaccinated, instead of getting multiple shots at once. It also asserts links to autism and that spacing out vaccinations will mitigate address the autism links that DO NOT FUCKING EXIST! There is no proof of anything being asserted in the executive order other than Trump is a complete Asstastic Fuckwad.

It seems to me the only winners here are the medical establishment who can charge for more doctors visits and the losers are the parents, who, going into the new school year, with the highest number of measles outbreaks in 35 years will have to take time off of work and take kids out of school to get full vaccinne coverage and it’s making it harder for health officials to get full immunization coverage, putting children at greater risk for infection.

Trump was denied the ability to fire Cook without cause by the Supreme court. Chief Justice John Roberts warnred that giving Trump the ability to fire people at the Fed would trash the central bank’s independence from political interference.

The owners haven’t been contacted yet and there are a couple of problems they might face. In addition to it being illegal to knowingly abandon animals and leave them in a bad way, and it’s also illegal to abandon boats, both carrying legal and potential financial consequences. If you want to adopt one of these fluffy little balls of judgement, disapproval and love, you should get in touch with the Tacoma & Pierce county animal shelters if you live in the area and have a little extra love to spare.

So the top person, who’s supposed to hold people, in this country, accountable for breaking the law, is none other than Trump’s personal, criminal defense attorney. So Trump’s personal defense attorney is now in charge of releasing the remaining Epstein files. And he is also responsible for holding Trump and his family accountable, oh no wait, there’s more. He told congress that he’s granting Trump and his family immunity from any past tax claims, and apparently that’s OK?

In more Trump Shitshow Nonsense, The Trump Administration’s Securities and Exchange Commition moved to dismiss it’s insider trading lawsuit against Terren Peizer, the former healthcare executive that was pardoned by Trump in January. Peizer was also in with Michael Milliken who was two years into a prison sentence for being convicted of fraud and also pardoned by Trump. Now here’s another pattern. Convicted criminals are being let off the hook by Trump. It also means any restitution that was to be paid to victims of the crimes commited is null and void because of the pardons.

In the, I guess it’s good news department, the senate has left for a 5 week break without approving Trump’s attempt to restrict voting in November with his law that would require proof of citizenship to vote. Now if you think about this for a minute, someone who is not a citizen, but wants to be a citizen, would vote and risk a felony to vote in an election they are not going to have much of an impact on one way or another? Are you insane? The risk/reward math does not add up.

The simple math is, when people vote, the GOP loses so the more they can keep people from voting, the more likely they will get GOP candidates elected. So qat least for the next 5 weeks while the Senate is on vacation, we’ll be safe from this attack on democracy from Trump.
