दिल से जाने के लिए..!

साँसें कितनी थमी होंगी,

खुदकी आवाज़ को सुनने के लिए..

कितना कुछ छुपाया होगा,

हर बार ज़ोर से हँसने के लिए...

शायद खुदका हाथ थामा होगा,

कलम वापस उठाने के लिए..

पैरों को आड़ा - तिरछा रखा होगा,

डगमगा के चलने के लिए...

खुद भगवान भी मुस्कुराया होगा,

उसकी आवाज़ को उठाने के लिए...

कदम कदम उठाया होगा...

चलते रहने के लिए..

कितना शुरू से शुरू किया होगा,

सबकुछ ठीक होने से पहले..

और पता है...?

कभी किसी को बोलते देखो ये सब,

तो सोचना बहुत हिचकाया होगा बोलने से पहले..

सहानुभूति की चाह रखी ही नहीं होगी,

क्योंकि ठीक ही है ना..

What came to your mind when you saw that heading? Something called suffering, right? To keep moving even if it hurts, right?

I always used to wonder why people smile even with tears or with pain... until, one day, I saw a lady in my cousin's clinic. So, she was having cancer, a very heavy word, I must say! I admired her for a moment, then I went to her... and asked softly, “I really admire your smile. What makes you put a big smile on your face?”

She said, smilingly, “This is the only thing that's left with me. I cry most of the day, but this is something that keeps me going...”

I sat in silence for an hour with her that day.

When she was leaving, she patted my head and said, “God bless you, beta. Haste raho kyunki hasi hamari khud ki hai.”

I went back home and wrote this in my diary: “Haste raho kyunki hasi tumhari khud ki hai.”

It's a very heavy line, very heavy, not because it's full of pain, but because it's full of resilience and courage. It's not about what the person is suffering; it's about what the person grew from... and courage is admirable! Isn't it?!

Should I say it, “Art of being Resilient and not art of smiling with pain.”

This is not about continuing, this is about the courage you grow within your deepest of the roots, which cannot be even taken by an angry storm... it will keep building and building... and thus I named it resilience and not pain.

Courage.

Resolve.

Spirit.

दुःख दस्तक सबके दरवाज़ों पर देता है...

कुछ टूट के बिखर जाते हैं...?

नहीं,

यही टूट के बिखरने वाले,

खुदको सँवार लेते हैं,

और श्मशान में बैठते हुए भी मुस्कुरा देते हैं..

क्योंकि ये जानते हैं...

मुस्कुराहट मेरी खुदकी है, तो क्यों न इसे अपने होंठों के सबसे करीब रखा जाए,

क्यों न श्मशान को ही मंदिर बनाया जाए…!

पन्नों को न पलटना हो, ऐसा भी तो ज़रूरी नहीं...
सपनों के बिखरने के बाद नए सपने न बुने, ऐसा भी तो ज़रूरी नहीं....
एक फूल मुरझाने के बाद खिले ही न, ऐसा भी तो ज़रूरी नहीं...
एक लय से दूसरी लय का परिवर्तन आसान न हो, ऐसा भी तो ज़रूरी नहीं...
जो चाहा हो उससे बेहतर न मिले, ऐसा भी तो ज़रूरी नहीं...
जहाँ रुके हो वहाँ हमेशा बैठो, ऐसा नहीं तो ज़रूरी नहीं....
पहेलियाँ सुलझा न पाओ, ऐसा भी तो ज़रूरी नहीं....
एक बार दोहरा न पाओ, ऐसा भी तो ज़रूरी नहीं...

और एक बात बोलूँ...?

ज़िंदगी के सफ़र में, ज़िंदगी ज़िंदगी सी लगे ये ज़रूरी है, खुदको न खोना ज़रूरी है...
या बाहर होने वाली गतिविधियाँ ज़रूरी हैं...?
अंदर शांति, सुकून ज़रूरी है या बाहर का आक्रोश...?
किसी का होना ज़रूरी है या खुद का ?

ये अब आपके हाथ में, आप क्या चुनना चाहोगे...

और एक बात, आपको क्या चुनना चाहिए वो मैं बताऊँ ऐसा ज़रूरी तो नहीं?!

हाँ ज़रूरी तो नहीं है!

किसी मोड़ पर मुलाक़ात होगी…

सितारों-सी चमकती आँखों में,

जो सपने आहिस्ता से बैठा करते थे,

उन सपनों से एक मोड़ पर कभी तो मुलाक़ात होगी..

जिन रातों में दिल भारीपन से भर गया हो,

दिल रोया हो मगर आँखें नहीं,

उन रातों से एक बार तो मुलाक़ात होगी...

जिन अपनों की अस्थियों को अपने हाथों से बहाया हो,

अपनों को आँखों के सामने जाता देखा हो,

उन अपनों से एक बार तो मुलाक़ात होगी...

मुलाक़ात होगी..

बचपन के हुनर की,

शीशे में खिलती हँसी की,

लहरों की, फ़रिश्तों की!

किसी मोड़ पर तो मुलाक़ात होगी...

ज़मीन पर बिखरे तारों की,

बिखरते सपनों की,

कभी तो मुलाक़ात होगी…

तब तक या तो सब सँभल जाएगा...

या सब ख़त्म हो जाएगा?

नहीं!

शायद तब सब सँभल रहा होगा...

तब मुलाक़ात होगी….!

हाँ मुलाक़ात होगी….!

Just ending this with a message:

You'll meet all your unfulfilled dreams, the people you lost, and the tears you couldn't shed someday; not necessarily physically, but through turns you never expected to take.

It's about the paths you might change.

It's about the people who are still here.

Hold on to them a little longer, because life is unpredictable, uncertain, and sometimes unfair to the very people who were fair to everyone, except themselves.

What comes to your mind when you see the word hope?

Well, it's something positive and optimistic, right?

What if I say you're the hope, dear?

You heard it right..you are the hope.

Your name is a hope to many, and if it isn't today, it will be someday.

Yes, you heard it right.

Someone who comes to you after having a bad day…you are that little hope to them.

That child who sees you in the crowd and comes back home saying, "Mumma/Papa, I saw them today",you are the hope to them.

The dog who's been sitting in front of the door, knowing you're the person who will feed them, you are their hope.

That friend or stranger who seeks advice from you, you are the hope to them.

The person you left somewhere in the middle of your journey, maybe you were a hope to them.

The one you're saving from your chaos, you are the hope to them.

The dream you built years ago, the one you kept dreaming about, maybe you were its hope.

The stranger who somehow smiles at you, you might be a little hope to them.

The one who's still with you, you are a hope to them.

The pet who keeps waiting for you at home, you are their hope.

This list goes on...

And just as you're the hope in someone else's list, you are the hope of this list too.

So, keep going.

And just at the end, I want to say this:

When you hold your own hand after crying for hours, you are the hope those hands have.

ये सालों का आक्रोश एक दिन तो बाहर आएगा।

तुमने बच्चों को सड़क पर खड़ा नहीं किया है,

मजबूर किया है!

और आप सभी भूलना मत,

भूलना मत!

बच्चों को डंडों से पीटने वाले...

किताबों, फूलों पर रक्त की नदियाँ बहाने वाले...

हिंदू-मुस्लिम करने वाले...

संसद से भागने वाले...

न तो ख़ुद आत्मनिर्भर हैं,

न ही ये देश को आत्मनिर्भर बनाएँगे!!

The kind that doesn’t scream happiness loudly,

but quietly sits beside you and says ..

“You can rest now.”

Where I’m going… I don’t know.

What I’m leaving behind… I don’t know.

What waits ahead… I don’t know.

But for this one moment.

“I want to stay here.

I want to live this moment fully.

I want to breathe inside this very second.”

जहाँ से सब कहते हैं ना...

“बाद में नफ़रत हो जाती है?”

नहीं... बाद में नफ़रत के लिए ताकत ही नहीं बचती !

बाद में हार मान लेते हैं?

नहीं... बाद में एक बार और कोशिश करने का हौसला जागता है !

बाद में सब ख़राब हो जाता है?

नहीं... बाद में सब कुछ फिर से शुरू करने की हिम्मत आ जाती है !

बाद में मन नहीं करता है?

नहीं... बाद में खुद में ही सुकून मिलने लगता है !

बाद में कुछ बोला नहीं जाता?

नहीं... बाद में ख़ामोशी ही सबसे प्यारी लगती है !

बाद में लोग छोड़ जाते हैं?

नहीं... बाद में खुद का साथ मिल जाता है !

बाद में नाराज़गी आ जाती है?

नहीं... बाद में सिर्फ़ दुआएँ निकलती हैं !

बाद में भगवान से शिकायत हो जाती है?

नहीं... बाद में एहसास होता है कि वो हाथ कभी छोड़ता ही नहीं !

बाद में दिल हार मान लेता है?

नहीं... बाद में दिल अपनी सही जगह पा लेता है !

बाद में डर लगता है?

नहीं... बाद में डर से जीतना आ जाता है !

बाद में अँधेरे से डर नहीं लगता?

नहीं... बाद में समझ आता है कि अँधेरे भी खूबसूरत होते हैं !

और हाँ... बाद में लोग कहते हैं, "तुमने सब कुछ खो दिया है?"

नहीं... बाद में समझ आता है कि खुद को पाना ही सबसे बड़ा पाना था !

बाद में मैच्योरिटी आ जाती है?

नहीं... बाद में बस सब्र आ जाता है !

और हाँ... बाद में इंसान धीरे-धीरे शून्य-सा हो जाता है...

न शिकायत रहती है, न सवाल

बस स्वीकार होता है...

और इतना सब्र आ जाता है...!

for there were far too many fears….

Some echoes grew softer, while one remained louder than ever.

Yet giving up was never easier….

Such a stubborn flower, right?

I guess it knew, it was trapped in a constant stateof fight or flight,

trying so hard not to rot…

trying even harder to pretend, giving every last inch of effort.

Only to look up and see the stars with tears,

because there were no cares…

Again , Questioned ,questioned, and questioned ?

"How do you? How you would ?"

Oh, I don't want to leave

this herb, this shrub, this tree…

But how can I ever be free?

Free from the expectation

of being watered.

Free from standing silently

beside a grave,

facing it every day..

because it never leaves my side…

Again.

And again.

Until the very end.

And after all that happened,

I simply saw the stars with tears..

Because the flower

was no longer among the flowers…

But after a few years, we realise…love isn’t always dramatic.It isn’t always fireworks.

Love is subtle , It grows quietly.

And maybe… it has always lived within us.

(Yes, we are lovely beings. Ha ha 😅)

So today, let’s pause ..

and appreciate the love that is underrated.

"Main apni favourite hoon,"

as Geet once said.

But what does that really mean?

Self-love isn’t loud.

It comes in silent moments ...

the ones we rarely notice ,rarely celebrate.

I’m talking about a different kind of self-love.

Remember the nights you cried so hard

you almost ran out of breath

yet you stayed.

You patted your own head and whispered,

“Relax… it’s okay. We’ll get through this.”....

That was love.

Remember the phases when eating felt heavy,

when even drinking water felt like effort

but you still chose to nourish yourself anyway?...

That was love.

When someone abandoned you

in the middle of your story

and you still held your own hand

and crossed that chapter alone....

That was love.

When silence stopped feeling scary

and started feeling peaceful....

That was growth.

That was love.

When someone hurt you deeply

and instead of poisoning yourself with hate,

you chose forgiveness.

You prayed for their well-being.....

That was strength.

That was love.

When you were sick

but told yourself,

“We are going to be healthier.

It’s just a matter of time.”....

That was hope loving you.

When you failed an exam

but refused to bury your childhood dream ....

That was commitment to yourself.

When you stepped out of your comfort zone

for your own betterment.

When you chose discipline over resentment.

When you chose morals over revenge

even after being disrespected....

That was self-respect.

That was love.

When you sat alone on a chair,

journaled, meditated,

introspected

trying to understand your own mistakes

instead of blaming someone else.....

That was maturity.

That was love.

When you ate healthier.

When you exercised even without motivation.....

That was care.

That was love.

And the most important .....

When you accepted your flaws

without judging yourself…

and still chose to improve.❤️🧿

That is when you chose love over hurt.

So now, pause.

And ask yourself .....

When was the last time you were loved?

I hope your answer is:

“I am constantly loving myself.”

• Didn't score well in that one competitive exam , or you didn’t end up in your dream job or dream college . I'm a failure .

~ okay so ..when did giving your best become the reason of your failure ? When did making mistakes become a failure ?!

Maybe there is some other path waiting for you , something better , something more aligned with you !

• Your relations didn't work out ?

~ okay so , if something doesn't work out it automatically means a failure ? Or maybe it helped you understand yourself better , maybe it protected you from something that wasn’t meant to stay !

• Your health is not good , chronically ill ? So it's a failure ryt ?

~ okay so , when did showing courage and choosing to continue your life with physical pain become a failure ?! Isn’t that strength most people don’t even notice ?

• You have a trauma , so you're a failure ?

~ okay so ..when did what someone else did to you become the reason that you will never have happiness ? Why are you letting their actions define your story ?

• You have multiple attempts for the competitive exam or a job , so you became a failure ?!

~ okay so ..when did trying , working , learning and still standing after things not working out become failure ? Maybe you are just becoming stronger than you were before !

• Quitting a relationship / job / exam because it was draining you , so you are a failure ?

~ okay so…when did ending something that was taking away your peace and happiness become a reason you don’t deserve better ?

Sometimes leaving is not failure , it’s self respect !

• Someone left you ? So you're a failure ?

~ Okay so , when did someone leaving mean you're the one at 100% fault ?

Maybe they left because they couldn’t handle what staying actually required .

Lastly :

Yk what

We all were brainwashed by the idea of failure.

“ We all think if life doesn't go planned our way it's a failure “.

But yk what is a failure ?!

Your definition of failure !!

Maybe… you were never a failure.

Maybe you were just growing through things that were meant to shape you , even when it didn’t make sense at that time. ✨

And still… you kept going .🌻✨

So before calling yourself a failure again…just look at how far you’ve come , how much you’ve handled , how you didn’t stop .

That’s not failure .

That’s growth .

That’s strength .

That’s you… becoming better every day .
