Hi ladies,

As usual, today’s monthly Zoom call was an absolute blast! We covered a ton of ground over our hour and 45-minute chat—from life updates and vacation plans to world news and current events. We definitely had some strong opinions on the Kevin Hart roast (especially the lack of accountability for those inappropriate George Floyd jokes) and Dr. Cheyenne Bryant doubling down on her “doctorial” degree.

A special thank you to Toni, who closed out our meeting with one of her usual heartwarming and soul-touching prayers. 🤍

My Favorite Flower

I was having a rough day, just going through the motions, until I saw these stunning purple hydrangeas outside Costco. They’re my favorite flower, and seeing them felt like a personal reminder from Jesus to look up and smile. Scripture tells us that “weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning,” and today, that joy looked like a flower. Don’t forget to stop and notice the little gifts today—they’re there if you’re looking for them!

I forgot that I had planted mustard green seeds. This was a reminder that sometimes when you sow good seed in faith and move on, God will reward you when you least expect it. New Years Goal #3 Started!

Hey sisters. I have my 2026 goals stuck on the wall in my office in a spot I have to pass by several times a day. I’ve completed five of the eleven already, and I’m simultaneously working on three of the others. I didn’t even realize I had accomplished so many. I feel so proud of myself. That being said, these swimming lessons are a lot more difficult than I thought they would be. My (20 year old) swimming teacher IS NOT a good teacher. He literally had us trying to learn the breast stroke in the second class! SIR! Of course I pushed back and explained I need to get comfortable breathing out of my nose under water first…AND and can’t even free style appropriately yet. Jesus take the wheel.

The good news is there are only two of us in the class,

and my classmate is so sweet. keep us both in your prayers, LOL.

Should We Rotate the Zoom Meeting

Hello ladies! I recently had a conversation with a friend and she suggested I ask you all if the Saturday morning time slot is still the most convenient for everyone. I was thinking, should I rotate the current time slot (10 a.m. CST) every other month with an evening time (7:30 CST)? This meeting belongs to you all, so let me know your thoughts. If most of you agree to rotate the time it would look like this:

May zoom call Monday May 25th: 5:30pm for West Coast, 6:30pm for Denver, 7:30 for Texas, and 8:30pm for the East Coast.

I got invited to the upcoming Michael Khors collection

I was invited to a preview of the new Michael Kors Collection at Neiman’s recently, and I have to tell you: the craftsmanship blew me away. While the models only showed a fraction of the line, the full collection was available on racks for us to browse afterward. I’m glad I took a closer look. Between the hand-stitched details and the heavy, high-quality fabrics, you could really feel the intentionality behind every piece. Even the accessories—like the leather-covered wood jewelry—felt like true wearable art. This video is a peek behind the scenes of what I saw.

My New Plant and Custom Created Pot

As a part of my New Year’s resolution to do something different every month, I decided to sign up for a “paint and Pot” class. I was $85 and wine, juice, and water were offered as drinks. I had such a GREAT time. I t was a collaboration between and event planner and a man that owned a flower shop. I met four new people and one potential new client (I start my personal styling business on February 1st). Each of us received a blank pot to create any design we wanted. All of the supplies including the plants were provided. Even though I went alone, it would be a great outing for a group of friends. Would you try it?
