It’s been a while and it feels good to be back here.

I spent over a month in Japan recently, so it’s been a little quiet on my end. Being back home always gives me fresh inspiration, and now I’m back in the studio, excited to share what I’ve been working on.

This Sunday’s drop is centered around bucket hats.

As always, every piece is made from carefully sourced vintage fabrics, which means no two are exactly alike. Once a hat is gone, I can't recreate it.

While this release is mainly about bucket hats, I’ll continue keeping a selection of beanies in the shop. Many of you have asked if I’d stop making them, but don’t worry! They’re here to stay. I’ll keep adding them whenever I come across the right vintage materials.

The next drop is coming.

Sunday 3/15 — 12pm (noon) PT / 3pm ET

I’ve been focusing on finishing older orders for a while, and I’m finally ready to start making new pieces again!

For this drop I’ll still be sharing beanies, but I’m also starting to shift my focus beyond them and explore other pieces in the near future. I may even make sweaters again at some point, even though sweater season is technically over lol.

At this time I won’t be taking pre-orders. I want to enjoy some creative freedom for a bit.

Also, I often get asked if I ship internationally. The answer is yes. I’ve been receiving a lot of support from people all over the world, and I truly appreciate it.

Many of you have been asking about pre-orders, so I wanted to clarify how things will move forward.

I’ll mainly be sticking to regular drops. This structure protects my energy, both creatively and emotionally, and allows me to continue making everything myself in a sustainable way.

The next drop will be:

Sunday 2/8 — 6pm PT / 9pm ET
Preview will be live Sunday morning so you can browse ahead of time.

These pieces are made from upcycled vintage materials and are one of one. Once something is gone, I can’t reproduce it exactly the same way again.

Regarding pre-orders: I’ll open a small, structured pre-order option the following week (it will be available on my online store). There will be no back-and-forth emails. You’ll be able to choose a general color tone only, and the rest will be up to my process.

If you prefer to choose a specific piece, the regular drop is the right option.

I’m also not taking custom requests at this time. I’m still fulfilling older orders, and those remain my priority.

For the next release, I’m doing things a little differently.

There will be:

• 40-50 beanies in the regular drop (you choose the exact one)
• 30-40 beanies available as pre-order

The regular drop works the same as before — once they’re gone, they’re gone.

For the pre-order option, I’m simplifying the process.

You’ll be able to choose a general color tone only (for example: dark, earthy, bright, or neutral). I won’t be doing individual preference emails this time.

If you’d like to choose a specific beanie, the regular drop is the way to go.

The pre-order option is for those who trust my process and are comfortable receiving a unique piece within their chosen color direction.

This keeps things manageable on my end and allows me to continue making everything by hand without rushing or turning it into something else.

I wanted to share something new with you.

Because of all the love, messages, and requests I’ve been receiving, the beanie drops have been selling out almost immediately. I know that’s been frustrating for some of you, and I’ve been thinking a lot about how to create a way that feels more human and less like a one-minute race.

So this time, I’m opening a small beanie pre-order.

This means you’ll be able to order a beanie without rushing, and I’ll make them slowly, one by one, in the studio.

Here’s how it will work:

• This is a limited pre-order batch
• Each beanie is handmade from vintage materials
• After you place your order, I’ll personally email you to talk about preferences
• Your beanie will be unique and may not look exactly like the photos
• Some styles (for example, Coogi-design beanies) may have a small additional charge (+$10) I’ll always confirm with you first
• Estimated shipping will be 1–2 weeks from order date

This is my way of making space for more of you while keeping the process honest and slow.

This time, I’ll be listing everything by Friday night, and the site will show the pieces as “coming soon.”
That way, you can browse, look through, and sit with what you like before the drop goes live.

A lot of people told me they didn’t get something even though it was in their cart last Saturday. I’m really sorry about that! That part is unfortunately out of my control. But I truly hope that people who missed last time can get something this weekend.

First of all, thank you so much for your support and for subscribing to my newsletter.
The past few days have been really special. Receiving your messages and connecting with so many of you has been genuinely moving.

I don’t usually share personal thoughts on social media, but this space feels a little safer, so I wanted to share a bit more here.

Around this time last year, the massive wildfires in LA started, and that was only the beginning of what became a very heavy year. By June, ICE raids were happening in the city. From my studio downtown, I could hear protests, helicopters, sirens. The fear I felt then was something I had never experienced before.

It started to feel like nobody cared about art anymore. Honestly, it even felt inappropriate to promote my work while so many people were living in fear and scarcity. I was deeply discouraged. I thought about quitting what I do, and even about going back to Japan.

But, fortunately or unfortunately, nobody wanted to hire me lol. I applied to jobs-and that humbled me again. So I had to sit with myself and make a real decision.

I chose not to make myself a victim of what was happening in the outside world. I chose not to let it eat me.
It wasn’t always easy, but I kept showing up. I committed again to my work, to integrity, and to focusing on what I could create instead of what I couldn’t control.

So this moment means more to me than what’s usually shown or said on the internet.

Many of you only know me through a screen, yet you’ve shown so much care and support. It has been incredibly healing. Truly, thank you for being here.

I’ll be sharing a new drop in a few days.
