I try not to make exacting predictions with astrology, but do consider and share my astrological perspectives on plausibility and sometimes even probability. (See my Astrology’s Minority Reports on Probable U.S. Civil War, Probable WW III, and probable severe famine: Holy Toledo! ) However, looking at the astrology chart of, and the Geodetic Astro*Carto*Graphy map of, the coming Solar Eclipse of August 12 of this summer, gives me reasons for concern. Psycho-spiritual preparation can deter panic were the otherwise unexpected to occur. You might also “Be prepared” otherwise, like this former Order of the Arrow Boy Scout minimalist partial “preper.”

Many people living on or near the Left Coast of the USA know that we are statistically due or overdue for major earthquake activity. Here and worldwide, many people also know that the increased odds of a Pole Shift happening sooner rather than later are being seriously considered by those in the know. Particularly in this Chinese Astrology year of The Fire Horse, we should expect, more than usual, big changes in a single year. (The last such year was 1966.)

ACT I

FIRST SOLAR ECLIPSE of 2026:
Fire Horse Charges In; “Earth Shaker”
Neptune Comes Ashore (Oh my!)

On February 17 of this year, The Fire Horse year began, with mythological “Earth Shaker” Neptune (Poseidon) on the first Sabian Symbol degree of not only of the sign of Aries, but also the first degree of the Zodiac! The Sabian Symbol for this degree has a human (humanlike) figure coming ashore out of the ocean. Neptune here embodies that archetypal character role. Neptune had been in Pisces for years, in the Watery abode that He rules. He’s on land now, in Aries, the Sign ruled by the God of War. (Uh oh.)

Do you remember Psycho Killers (”qu’ est ce que?!”) Trump and Secretary of War Hegseth almost amphibiously landing marines on Iranian soil? (Maybe later this year?) Meanwhile, Fire Horse lights up the Middle Eastern sky, near incessantly.

The first degrees of each Cardinal sign introduce a new season. First and foremost, the 1st degree Aries starts Spring, and most significantly of all, new life in Nature. So slow-moving collective planet on this degree is a really BIG deal! This is particularly so because there will be no hesitation, no return of Neptune to Pisces, no return to what was, not just no return to recent years, but no return to what was “life” for about the last 165 years. As the late , great Jerry Lee Lewis said: “Think about it!”

2026: Act One: 2/17 – 8/11; Act Two: COMING SOON! (8/11/2026)

But First, A WHOLE LOTTA SHAKIN’ GOIN’ ON: 6/24/2026

Just a little more than 3 degrees (3 days) after Summer Solstice, a 5.6 earthquake in Northern California (the largest for that region since 1940), a 6.9 earthquake off the northern coast of Japan, and two devastating ones in Venezuela --- all occurred within about 24 hours. Venezuela’s quakes 7.2 and 7.5 occurred within less than a minute of each other, with Mars conjunct Algol within less than one degree and also conjunct Uranus (albeit out-of-Sign). The devastation there caused the deaths of at least 5,200 people, with hundred more seriously injured/buried under rubble. Nearby, the quakes caused THE COASTLINE of TRINIDAD to RISE 20 FEET! (That is approximately equivalent to the height of a two-story building.) The site of HUGE stones having risen from the ocean there is remarkable to see!

ACT TWO

Just after “the Lion’s Gate” of 8/8, when Sun aligned with Sirius (seriously), comes the year’s second Solar Eclipse.

REASONS FOR CONCERN

Concern # 1: MARS and CERES CONJUNCT on the 1st degree of CANCER
Sabian Symbol: “On a ship sailors lower an old flag and raise a new one”

Mars, God of War here fits the flag changes on oil cargo ships in the Strait of Hormuz. Possibly this could relate to increased sending oil to a different country than assumed --- to the highest bidder. Another possibility is piracy of a commercial ship, but on a warship, mutiny! Of course, this astrology is not limited to those waters bordering Iran. Consider, for instance Geodetically, 90 East longitude, in the Bay of Bengal below Bangladesh. And/or, since Neptune at Eclipse Time is at a 4 and a little bit Aries, the strait of Dover between the UK and France (Immigrants crossing area).

SPEAKING OF DIRE STRAITS

On July 30th, a fortnight before the Solar Eclipse, an estimated 60,000 fighting age Moroccan men (Mars) invaded Spanish territory on the African side of Strait of Gibraltar. Their numbers were approximately equal to 70% of the terrorized locals. The first Mars conjunct Ceres in Cancer FOOD FIGHT (expect millions more, worldwide) began with Mars’ looting, followed by locals denying food to the invaders. 67 died in human stampede or from drowning.

An important astrological event having not just one planet on such a degree is significant enough in itself, but more so when two are on an all-important first degree of a Cardinal Sign. Not only that, but both Square sometimes-Earth-Shaker Neptune in early Aries.

Another Geodetic longitudinal other Initiating Cardinal Sign degree locale begins Aries: Greenwich/London/a World Finance Hub “City of London.”

Concern # 2: Pluto and Uranus aspecting each other, their midpoint exactly on
“Earth Shaker” Neptune!

Perhaps also worth noting that the three big shocks of the New Madrid Missouri “boot heel” area earthquakes with thirty foot ground shifts up and down, 12/16/1811 and 1/23/1812, occurred between 89.5 W and 90.5 W longitudes. To approximate objectivity, I will quote another astrologer (rather than my own words). Rheinhold Ebertin writes of Pluto to Neptune: “... danger through forces of nature…” Uranus to Neptune: “... deplorable conditions ... harm… due to lack of resistance ... Losses, illness including danger of poisoning”

Concern # 3: No Planets “grounded” except little Chiron (in T-cross with Pluto and Juno opposite BG Jupiter with Mercury), and Jupiter and Uranus aspecting one another.

Concern # 4: PROBABLE GREENLAND WAR

Trump and the Technocracy planners have their “sights” set on Greenland, in the path of the Solar Eclipse, which begins in the Arctic Sea near where “The Pole” has shifted into Russian waters. The Eclipse Shadow Path goes right over the fault line in the North Atlantic near the southern coast of Greenland. Western Europe (The EU) wants war with Russia. Stay tuned.

Concern # 5: Astro*Carto*Graphy: Earthquake’s Geodetic Chart Parans (along USA’s Ring of Fire Pacific Coastline)

There are different ways that an astrologer can see, usually after the fact, the correspondence between a particular Solar Eclipse and a specific location. One way is to relate the astrology of a particular eclipse to the chart of that country, city, etc. Another is to study the A*C*G and such of the Geodetic map of that eclipse. Trying to anticipate specifics from such data is a humbling experience — no foolin’— a Fool’s Errand. Significant events run a wide gambit of possibilities, and time frames can vary from around eclipse day to up to less than six months later. But anyway…

With any A*C*G map, each “planet” appears simultaneously to be visibly from on Earth to be somewhere rising, somewhere setting, somewhere directly overhead, and somewhere, unseen, directly under that location. These four are called planetary lines and tell the most important features of “the story” of any particular location. However, also important are the locations’ latitudes where two planetary lines of any sort cross paths. The most significant of these are in close proximity longitudinally to such a latitude. Amazingly, years of validation indicate that ANYWHERE on such a latitude carries, as it were, an “echo” of the convergence of two such “planets.”

Along the continental U.S.’ Pacific “Ring of Fire” there are a few such crossings’ latitudes that merit my concern. Again, to approximate objectivity, I will quote another astrological source: the interpretations given in the SOLAR MAPS computer program.

A CHIRONIC PERSPECTIVE ON EARTHQUAKES

Most modern people fear and blame God or Mother Nature for the devastation of modern earthquakes. Indigenous people living in one-story high structures without modern technology and such experienced far less suffering and death because of earthquakes than do modern people. They did not need to worry about tons of concrete falling on them, downed power lines, sewer contaminated drinking water, natural gas explosions, toxic chemicals in the air, etc.

Further, many of them and the animals near them would sense earthquakes coming and act accordingly. As Carl Jung said, the greatest threat to modern people lies in the mindset of and inventions of modern people, not so much from Nature. Modern conveniences come with dangerous risks. “F.A.A.F.O.” or live in the Now, be that in city or in Nature.

GOOD VERSUS EVIL: Chiron Square PLUTO

Some so-called astrologers, easily replaceable by A.I., might try and tell you that Chiron Square Pluto is not now, not until exact in “You will own nothing” 2030. These clue-deficient astrologers with their lazy abstract keywords don’t know what either Chiron or Pluto is all about. Mythological Chiron lived and taught ethics, mentored young males, one by one, to, against all odds, displace “evil despots” and restore the good to rule. (Once empowered, the good man in charge always ruled along with his wife, balancing masculine with feminine.)

In the lowest Underworld, Tarturus the Titan Prometheus (astrological Uranus --- Thanks Rick Tarnas!) was daily tortured and suffered for his act of ultimate hubris. His Fate was to go through this forever, unless some immortal being would give up his or her freedom and autonomy and take Prometheus’ place there. Chiron types are always in the minority, often fiercely hated. If stressful planetary aspects to one’s Chiron are activated at the Chiron return, whether of natal Chiron stressful aspects, and/or of stressful transiting aspects, such time in one’s life is usually extremely difficult. To paraphrase Thomas Paine: a time that tries man’s soul.” (See Massie’s Chiron Square Pallas Athena.) But as Carl Jung said, what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger. So, if one doesn’t wimp out when Chiron returns, a stronger Soul emerges for oneself, and even for others interacted with.

Although Libertarian-leaning Republican Congressman Massie’s time of birth is apparently not available to the public, just his birth date and birth year tell us a lot about his Chiron Soul Journey expression and challenge. His Chiron at 6+ Aries = 7^th Sabian Symbol: “A man successfully expressing himself in two worlds at once”, of which Lynda Hill writes: “Integrating the spiritual with the material.” Speaking of spiritual, his Chiron is Trine Neptune on “2 men playing chess”, and also Trine Venus even more precisely (exact degree dependent on his time of birth). Not to be forgotten, his Chiron is Square political Pallas Athena at 9+ Pisces.

The first two of those returns were when Trump was running for his second consecutive Presidential term. The third and final return was less than three weeks into Biden’s Presidency and just over a month after “the” “January 6^th“. The Democrats had it all: the Presidency, the majority of the House of Representatives, 50-50 in the Senate, but V.P. Kamala Harris held the tie-breaking vote.

Politically, an astrologer who wrote under a pseudonym for The Washington Post in the 1970s said that the Democrats, with their work animal mascot, the donkey, are Saturnine (favoring regulations). (even though most Democrats, starting with Clinton, abandoned Labor and the blue collar workers, the over-regulate everything never stopped. By contrast, she saw the Republicans with their elephant as mascot were Jupiterian: big creatures associated with spectacle (circus) in the U.S.A.

Circus businessman P.T. Barnum said: “I never liked to work, I mean manual work” and “No man ever went broke overestimating the ignorance of the American Public.”

Notice that the overwhelming majority of U.S. politics is either Jupiterian or Saturnine. Any ethical/Chironic politician has a loyalty only to the Good, to the ethical, to the wise, to the Truth, and in the U.S., to the Constitution, and to what benefits the

regular people meant to be represented. Just as mythological Chiron lived outdoors, they often have a genuine appreciation for the resources of the land and those who live and work on the land. Also, though, the Chironic types are also “outsiders” symbolically, in contrast to the “insiders” “inside the beltway” or inside “the Deep State”, etc.

ELECTION RESULTS: MASSIE VERSUS MASS MURDER PSYCHOSIS

Perhaps, Chironically, Massie losing the primary (55% to 45%) might just be the best thing that could have happened to him, and even for others amongst us too. A true “Outsider” can’t thrive trapped inside a building with only “insiders.” Thomas has a beloved farm, beloved family including grandchildren that he can now enjoy even more than before to retire to, if only as a fighter going to his corner between rounds fighting the good fight.

CHIRON-”GAIA” TULSI GABBARD: CHIRON TRANSITS HER SUN

Just three days after Massie conceded his defeat to Tel Aviv, Tulsi Gabbard announced her resignation from her position as Director of National Intelligence, citing her husband, 37, recent diagnosis of an extremely rare form of bone cancer.

She was born April 12, 1981. Her time of birth and the date of her marriage are apparently not available to the public. Gabbard and her husband are Hindu believers. Her first name comes from Sanskrit and means “one beyond compare” (as unique as mythological Chiron) and is associated with the basil plant, sacred to Hindus. Basil, for them, is associated with the Goddess Lakshmi.

Vedic Deities cannot be directly transposed to Greco-Roman Deities, but there are some interesting correspondences of Lakshmi with Venus Aphrodite. Specifically, those commonalities include Beauty and Love. Lakshmi's association with sovereignty, although not Venusian, fits Tulsi's political stance.

Starting 8/23/2019, between the second and third debates, Tulsi and Marianne questioned the veracity of the DNC decision makers to determine the accuracy of polls to determine viable candidates to be included in upcoming debates. She, like Marianne Williamson, was not invited to the third debate. Marianne was never invited back. Starting (publically) Tulsi’s application to be in the 6^th debate was not received in time, said the DNC. She was not invited back to any debates 7 through 11 --- the most important ones, of course, as Democrat voters/viewers could only see the talking heads that the DNC wanted them to hear.

WITH HEARTFELT COMPASSION

The easiest, most banal thing to do in “interpreting” astrological Chiron is to glibly say “wounded healer” at anything and everything involving Chiron. That said, though, my decades of astrological practice have shown, over and over, that Chiron to Sun is the “Wounded King” archetype coming to life --- and to death. The individual --- in this case Tulsi --- has some close person in one’s life, usually male, who is her or his “Shining Light” (“You are my Sunshine...”). Astrological outer planetary conjunctions begin significant time periods for all of humanity. The farther away from Earth and Sun that two conjunct outer planets are, the more all-encompassing the reality. The ultimate, all-encompassing conjunction involves Neptune and Pluto coming together. Even though long ago by the time standard of humans alive now, the two past conjunctions of Neptune and Pluto in Gemini are still relevant today. The first of those, was exact in 1398 and 1399, the second and most recent of those, was exact in 1891 and 1892. The more recent of the two is far more relevant.

Since astronomical Neptune and Pluto are both invisible to the naked eye, they are astrologically both associated with different expressions of the Unconscious. Because they both orbit beyond Saturn (the last planet visible with the naked eye), they are both associated with what could be called the Collective Unconscious. Despite what most people assume, all of us think and act far more unconsciously than consciously, a few of us perhaps a little less unconscious than most. Becoming less unconscious can be an uneven process, with greater awareness even late in life. (The latter is the case for me.)

Just a few people in the beginning, and ignored influential groups in their aftermath, consciously deliberately manipulate the unconscious of most of the rest of humanity unconsciously. “Aye, there’s the rub” we could say, as Shakespeare’s HAMLET said while contemplated the issues of Death (Pluto) and Dreams (Neptune).

Pluto and Neptune: Two Disgruntled God Brothers

An essential astrological Minority Report perspective is to perceive each planet, Chiron, asteroid, etc. not as a keyword abstract, a “what”, but rather as a “Who.” In all cases (except Uranus), the Greco/Roman name of the planet or such tells us who He or She “is” by way of the relevant mythological story. Jupiter (Zeus), Neptune (Poseidon) and Pluto (Hades) were the three God Brothers sons of Saturn (Chronos). Once that old child-eating Titan Old Man was put down (literally), they divided up the realms and super powers. Lucky Jupiter got to be Numero Uno in every way, including being the God loved by most of the humans. Planet Jupiter is brightly visible to the naked eye in the night sky. Which do most people choose: light or darkness? Ordinarily, most people choose light of course, unless they are entranced.

Now imagine the two other God brothers of Jupiter as disgruntled, jealous, wanting to exercise more power over humans. When aligned together at a new conjunction, a new scheme, emerging from their dark meeting, is set in motion. Together, resentful Neptune can entrance and deceive people with lies, fear, guilt and other negative emotions in order to present bad (negative expressions of Neptune and Pluto) as good, and good (Jupiter) as bad.

Speaking of Brothers: Gemini: the Sign of the Twins

These two God Bros met in the realm of the sign of Gemini. Gemini “twins” were half-brothers, involved in the same activities, including war against some others. Sometimes they wrestled with each other between wars. Symbolically, think “brotherhood” associations, sometimes “brother against brother.” Ruled by Mercury, there are issues with knowledge and communication. Neptune and Pluto here, though, have a tendency to keep information secretly or inadvertently between themselves. Like any twins, both will have some things in common, but each will have one’s own specialties. Even though “twins” obviously indicates two, astrologically in practice Gemini can sometimes be more, like triplets, quadruplets, etc.

Johannes Gutenberg’s exact year of birth is not known, sometime between 1393 and 1406, but probably on June 24 of one of those years. 6/24/1398 was the date of the first of three such conjunctions, so he might have been born on that exact day. As you probably know, his innovations in printing (Mercury-ruled Gemini) led quickly to unprecedented changes in the Western world. The thoughtless see only positive technological change at play (that conjunction opposite Saturn conjunct Uranus).
The far greater story was the vast availability of the “Gutenberg” bible (the first
ones printed sometime between 1450 and 1456).

Mythological Neptune ruled the realm of Water, especially the Ocean(s), a very different realm than that of tactile land. In landless Water, we can only perceive and believe our perceptions rather than to know with the certainty that we do on land. Is there really anything “real” outside of the material world? NEPTUNE in MERCURIAL GEMINI: “The Word of God”

Neptune in Gemini can be understood as the issue of words and belief(s). The word “gospel” etymologically originated as “godspel.” That word was known at the time of the first Neptune conjunct Pluto in Gemini as words said as “a charm for protection from evil spirits in the night.” “God” and “good” were/are interchangeable. Previously, during Nep-PL conj. in Taurus eras, a believer made the sign of the cross on his or her physical body. That became replaced or paired with reading the “Good News” from “the Good Book.” John 1:1 seems to say that God is “THE” “WORD”: the epitome of Mercury in Gemini. Luke 7:7 “… say the Word and my servant will be healed.”

PLUTO, Lord of Death

Mythological Pluto was only meant to rule the Underworld, the realm of the dead. He resented it when it seemed like not enough mortals were dying. Astrologically when He conspires with Neptune, Pluto has His own death-related agenda. The mythological Gemini twins enjoyed war. As Edwin Starr sang: “War…. a friend only to the Undertaker.” Most Christians perceive “the Devil” as ruler of the underworld of Hell.

So, since if Pluto is seen as the Devil, and Neptune rules the Sea, Neptune and Pluto together time finds us “between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea.” That phrase originated from sailors dangerously suspended over ship’s side to work on sealing up the seam on the ship’s hull, called “the Devil” with the perilous Sea below.

THE ALPHABET Versus THE GODDESS

The late Leonard Shlain’s 1998 book The Alphabet Versus the Goddess makes a case that literate societies, particularly what might be described as those with “religions of the book” tend to be more left brain hemisphere: linear, sequential, reductionist and tending towards abstraction. Widespread access to reading religious books tended to lead to many big, very long, deadly violent “holy” wars. The reductionist tendency resulted in a dogmatic fixation on ONE religious book, and even wars between believers in the same God but deeming one’s own version of such a book as that of the Good God, and those believers of another such book as not only wrong-minded, but also as bad people.

Think Protestants versus Catholics, for example. In that example particularly, the Catholic right-brain favoring of the Feminine (Mother Mary), visual imagery, ritual, etc. contrasted with none of that in Protestantism. Even within Protestantism though, which groups’ words purportedly got God “right” and which purportedly got it wrong is and has been a widespread reality.(Investigate the story of the Scofield Bible, 1909.)

None of this is meant to imply that all illiterate people are perfect saints, that all Pagan religions were wonderful (Baal worship?), nor that all literate believers are intolerant and okay with the murder of those with whom they disagree. Instead, this assertion is included in an attempt to put into perspective part of what came out of the first Nep-PL Gemini era, approximately 1400 to 1900. An astrological analysis of Pluto-Neptune Gemini indicates lots more religious book readers, lots more discord, lots more terror, lots more cruelty and lots more death in the name of a purported “Good God.”

Planetary Discoveries and Conscious Awareness

The astronomical planet Neptune was not discovered until 1846; Pluto wasn’t discovered until 1930. Astrologer Dane Rudhyar (born at the later Nep-PL II conj.) was the first to speak and write of cultural changes approximately (within several years prior) corresponding to the discovery of each of the outer planets, new perspectives that were formerly mostly or totally unconscious. It can then be interpreted to say that no persons could consciously and effectively manipulate the masses until around the time of each discovery, and then only in the manner of the discovered planet.

So, it wasn’t possible for anyone to consciously effectively manipulate the masses in a Neptunian way until sometime in the 19^th century. We can see the religious book ,The Bible, meets societal issue in the controversy over slavery: condoned by “holy” words, or a sin in the eyes of God? In England, Wilberforce and others of faith ended slavery non-violently. In the States, we know there was a different story.

A New Century, A New Neptune-Pluto Conjunction in Gemini

Thank you for your patience in reading so far what may seem until now to be totally irrelevant to our modern worldwide crisis. Astro-logy, accurately rendered, has its own logic, including the mytho-logic of its planetary namesakes. We can now apply those logos perspectives to our present collective astrological living nightmare. Relevant information about to be shared is given with the intent to try and understand the evil intent of those who expect to use this time and time unfolding for insidious, nefarious purposes.

Ideology, not Religion

Although Judaism the religion may be over 13,000 years old, Zionism as an ideology is only as old as the most recent Neptune-Pluto conjunction in Gemini. Current and eminent astrological transits are now activating Zionism big time! Brevity does not allow interpretation here of the contemporary transits to the more recent Neptune-Pluto conjunction in Gemini.

Two Specific Clues about the more recent Neptune-Pluto conjunction

The two exact Neptune-Pluto in Gemini conjunctions of 1891 were on the Sabian Symbol degree image: “a medieval archer stands with the ease of one wholly sure of himself, bow in hand, his quiver filled with arrows.” The Sabian Symbol degree image for 1892’s conjunction: “Aroused strikers surround a factory.” These two images factor into general, and perhaps even specific clues about the ongoing situation, clues to be integrated with other relevant astrology.

The first image reinforces the war-oriented Gemini twins, “Medieval” ordinary people were serfs then, are Internet “surfs” now. “Archer”: the adversary (Nep-PL) attacks remotely, not face-to-face combat; multiple shots. The second image shows labor discord, but presumably the capitalist factory owner is inside the factory. As the dates of significant events in the years of the conjunction imply, the two “twins” can be seen as The Zionist and the Marxist-Socialist-Communist Fabian Society. Although a case can be made for more than one correspondence, the “Archer” seems appropriate for the violent Zionists, and the factory strikers befitting the Fabians.

WHO: At least two individuals and Two important Associations

The time range of this conjunction is much more encompassing than months in those two years. Pluto was in Gemini from approximately April 1884 through 1913 and Neptune in the same sign from approximately 1889 through 1902. Astrologers do not agree with each other about how wide or how narrow the orb of a conjunction, especially for outer planetary conjunctions. Some say five degrees or less, widest say at up to fifteen degrees, most with any opinion say about ten degrees or less. Whether to use a wide or narrow orb is a matter of speculation about something that few have looked into. Most of the few who have looked at all have only hypothesized.

So, even though arbitrarily limiting, who was born or what began between 1889 and 1902? A study of the human individuals born during this time is absolutely fascinating, but only two will be noted here: Aldous Huxley (author of Brave New World), born 7/26/1894 and his brother Sir Julian Huxley (born 6/22/1887), head of the British Eugenics Society. (Note that artist John Collier’s first wife, maiden named Huxley, was a relative of Aldous and Julian Huxley was nicknamed “Maddy” as in “mad”, known for her erratic behavior, nervous hysteria, a variation of the mental illness that plagued the Huxley family, a family in which genius meets insanity. She died in 1887 at age 28.)

Briefly: The last total Lunar Eclipse in this series also coincided with Saturn conjunct Neptune. The 1917 chart set for Washington D.C. and the 3/3/32026 chart set for Minneapolis both feature Black Moon Lilith as most elevated (in the 10^th house, conjunct M.C.) The USA entered WW I in April 1917, the draft was in place by May, training camps began training in September, and much of the railroads were federalized by December. That Eclipsed Moon was conjunct Pluto. The planets in that chart (base in Washington, DC) were appropriately war-oriented by government and industry, at the expense of the predominantly agrarian nation: 10^th house Mars on an aristocrats’ degree image exactly opposite Chiron in the 4^th house on the farmers Harvest Moon degree image.

NOW (Minneapolis: 3/3/2026)

Other than most-elevated and WAY out-of-bounds Black Moon Lilith, the most important feature of this chart s the impressive spread of “planets” (”wanderers’) within 30 degrees of each other, in this case in the first and second houses. Astrologer Eric Francis (of Planet Waves, etc.) has addressed this phenomenon extensively, so I won’t comment on that part of the astrology here myself.

Instead, look at the chart ruler and predominance of planets by hemispheres (houses 10,11,12, 1,2,3) in contrast to the opposite hemisphere of houses (4.5.6.7,8,9).

Like it or not, this is the astrological equivalent of a “slam dunk” for the Saturnian government and warrior forces (ICE, etc.) By contrast, the Lunar ordinary person/people (especially a woman/women) are more likely to exhibit ineffective “Lunacy.” Also that side Ketu/(Lunar South Node) is no match against the likes of Rahu/(Lunar North Node), Warrior Mars and expert defender Pallas Athena, etc. If the “protesters” would ever admit it afterwards, their song is likely to be: “I fought the law, and the law won.”

However, this is not just the chart of a “battle” but part of a war.

Tragically, a great many people believe that “Mainstream Media” (NPR, CNN, CBS, etc.) did and do tell us the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth, so help their profits. Far too many missed the fact that during the Biden-Harris years, MILLIONS of mostly military age young men, including at least tens of thousands of exceptionally violent criminals (including from Venezuelan jails) flooded into the U.S., including in Minneapolis.

Given so much by Democrat politicians, such illegals would of course vote (legally or otherwise) for Democrats only. Enter simple-minded Trump and ICE, including brutal mercenary Israeli non-us citizens. This has created a “perfect storm.” Perhaps this was a secret mutual Democrats and Trump divide-and-conquer scenario, and/or others with a sinister agenda (under way in the Chinese “Year of the Snake.”) Intentional collusion or not, the net result is a new Civil War that is bound to get even worse when Uranus enters Gemini on April 25, 2026. The main battlefield this time is and likely will be in the realm of the Internet, AI and other technology, likely to be created and utilized in the immediate future.

Holy Toledo! (Follow link or read below) It was read at the time by only a few people then, or since then. Until now, it has only been available on my website: ChironSoulJourneyTruth

Mostly it stands as important and relevant as ever, but needing a couple of updates. First, at the time I was naively hopeful that someone influential, perhaps Bernie Sanders, would address the homelessness and “food scarcity” phenomenon. In fact, everything is looking increasingly dismal regarding this issue, with, at least so far, no prominent politician or Plutocrat acting in the interest of the masses of ordinary people. Pluto, Lord of Death, has moved from one Saturn-ruled sign (Capricorn) into the next Saturn-ruled sign (Aquarius), with a grim reign of years to come.

Second, the Muslim “invasion” of Europe at that time seems to also be a part (but not the only part) of the ongoing new Ceres – Pluto – Saturn crisis. History doesn’t repeat, but it “rhymes” once again. This time the “invasion” has been legal and illegal Muslim immigration not only into Europe, but into the USA, too. Meanwhile, in Nigeria, Christianity is under murderous attack by Islamic extremists. In the 8^th Century A.D., some of the Jews of Andalusia collaborated with the invading Muslims against the purported Christians. Now, and recently, it has been revealed that Israeli government and the U.S. government had armed Islamic terrorists. So much for the panacea of “Progressive” politics and “Evolutionary” astrology!

The question this time is whether or not someone in government will or will not manage limited resources responsibly, or simply oversee the great die-off of millions, even billions of human bodies and souls.

2020: The Start of the of Greatest Change Since 710

July 12, 710: Saturn and Pluto were exactly conjunct, with Ceres just over 3 degrees away, with Sun less than six degrees away on one side and Jupiter just over 7 degrees away on the other side, with all but Jupiter in “Cardinal” sign Cancer.

January 12, 2020: Saturn Pluto exactly conjunct, with Ceres just 0.2 degrees away, the Sun less than one degree away, while Jupiter will be less than 13.5 degrees away, with all in the “Cardinal” sign Capricorn. That exact conjunction of Saturn and Pluto is within less than 5 degrees of USA’s Pluto. Oh my!

HOLY TOLEDO

In 710, in the so-called Dark Ages, what is now Spain was essentially the Visigothic Kingdom, with its religious, cultural and royal political center in Toledo, Castile. In or around 710, Visigoth king Wittiza who had only ruled for seven or eight years, died. Often then a Visigoth king was knocked off like some pre-Mafia-era Don, although Wittiza’s cause of death, natural or otherwise, is unknown. Self-promoting Duke Roderic, the Toledo insiders’ choice, became the new king. Kings there and then were supposed to be approved by the majority of the Iberian Peninsula’s Visigoth nobles. However, those outside of Toledo were excluded from influence in 710 and 711. This was the 8th century equivalent of living “outside the beltway” in “fly over” states. Further, the non-regional Visigoth conquerors were only about 1% of the population. Then as now, the 1 % can rule the 99%, until things change. Astrology tells us when change is due.

Meanwhile in July 710 (the same month and year of the big conjunction!), Tarif and 500 successfully raided the southernmost shore of the Visigothic Kingdom, which is also the southernmost point of Europe, just 7.7 nautical miles across the strait of Gibraltar (Gibraltar: “the rock of Tariq”). They received hospitality from some Christians there, then returned home with plunder, captives and the lay of the land for the big invasion of April 30, 711. The Sabian Symbol for Saturn and Pluto in the 7/12/710 chart is about the introduction of some new outsider to one’s own group. (Note: Saturn and Pluto were conjunct within less than 5.5 degrees on 4/30/711)

The following year, 711, Roderic led a large army of thousands south, including previously ignored nobles and their troops, expecting to handily expel the thousands of invaders lead by Tariq. Roderic led his own portion of the army into battle (7/19/711, Pluto and Saturn less than eleven degrees apart), expecting backup, which did not come. He died in battle. The kingdom then had no king. What should have been an easy victory was not only a defeat, but also the beginning of the rapid fall of the whole kingdom. Divided, they fell. Tariq easily took Toledo in 711 or 712. The ethnically diverse Muslims called their new fertile land “al-Andalus” (“…. Andalusia with fields full of rain….”)… It lasted almost eight centuries until 1492, the year when those invaded became invaders of another land.
Noting the approximate estimates of major change, from the time of the 7/12/710 conjunction, in 30 months at the most, the entire religious cultural and political nature of a major civilization had changed, perhaps in only about one year!

WINNER of the WORLD’S CERES

Islam spread rapidly from the Middle East, across northern Africa. Compared to much of the Middle East and much of North Africa, the Iberian Peninsula was far more fertile and far less arid. Ceres in mythology is the Goddess who blesses the growth of food crops. Ceres in fertile Water sign Cancer, “summertime, and the livin’ is easy”, would be a great boon to the prosperity of this new religious/cultural/political institution.
Pluto, “the Lord Who Taketh Away” involved in the conjunction tells us that those who did govern (Saturn) will lose what they had. The excluded nobles let the king die, not knowing that the kingdom would die with him. Similarly, for years, particularly since 681, the Visigoths in Toledo made multiple laws that discriminated against the Jews. When the invasion came, those Jews understandably were not motivated to fight for the Visigoths. In fact, there was significant collaboration of those Jews with the so-called “Moors” of Mauritania. “The enemy of my enemy is my friend” (presumably).

THEN AND NOW: DIFFERENCES and SIMILARITIES

Astronomical Ceres and Pluto, invisible without a good telescope, were unknown to 8th century astrologers. However, the astro-mythological story certainly makes sense in historical hindsight. The “discovery” of Ceres, 1/1/1801, and of Pluto, 2/18/1930 (when Pluto was in Cancer), not only added new dimensions to astrology, in the last ninety years their combined presence reminds an astro-mythological us that they are two of the three main characters in an archetypal story of seasonal feast and famine. During the warmer months when crops grow and are harvested, Ceres is happy because Her beloved daughter, Persephone, is with Her. When winter comes, Persephone is with Pluto in the Underworld (below the surface of the Earth). Sad Ceres’ crops then do not grow and are not available for the taking from field, garden or orchard.
An aside for astrologers: in the early1990’s, I made a case that Pluto’s Moon, Charon, was misnamed. That body is about 2/3 Pluto’s size, and they move together, always facing one another, like a dancing (or struggling?) couple, Pluto and Persephone. Persephone in the Underworld is Queen, Judge of Souls. Were you to entertain that possible perspective, then Persephone is also a part of the grand conjunctions of 710 and 2020, but those two stories, centuries apart, are quite different, as will be explained momentarily.
Saturn in Cancer found governments and managers dealing with relatively abundant resources. Saturn in Capricorn, though, means governments and managers must manage significantly less. An amphibious invasion isn’t likely this time, more likely changed relationships between governments. NATO’s demise is not out of the question. 2019 Chinese – Russian business, the Russian – German pipeline, movements away from the U.S. dollar as reserve currency, and who knows what else, could become even more real.
The Sabian Symbol image for Saturn and Pluto for 1/12/2020 involves two awards for bravery. It is indeed brave for any nation(s) to risk any actions not desired by the up-until-now nuclear and economic superpower.
710 began as Tarif’s war; 2020 finds the world in Trump’s tariffs war. Tarif won the art of the steal then; art of the steal tariffs are likely to lose now.

2020: NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN (AND OLD WOMEN)?

In 710, astro-mythologically it was as if Pluto surrendered Persephone back to Her Mother: His loss was Cere’s gain in the abundant fertile, summertime sign of Cancer. In 2020, the story is just the opposite. The conjunction occurs in the wintertime sign of Capricorn. So a major religious/cultural/political change is occurring analogous to harsh cold (literal and/or figurative) of winter. Worse, the discovery of Pluto coincided with the invention of deadly Plutonium, so the grim possibility of Nuclear Winter could become an issue as well with Pluto in the first Zodiacal sign of winter.
In 710/711 the majority of people in the Visigothic Kingdom had no real say in their governance, as is the case for the non-wealthy majority of 2020 USA. As in 710/711, even the small minorities of those in power are again at odds with each other. (Think of the Democrat and Republican elites in relation to one another since Trump became president.) The divided people of the USA are as unlikely to come together against some new challenge, as was the case in 710/711.
Saturn in Capricorn finds governments and managers dealing with relatively limited resources. Will across-the-spectrum management of scant resources take place --- Socialism, or will those in positions of Capitalistic corporate and/or governmental power oversees a regime of severe austerity, particularly hard on the elderly, with decisions made by those obscenely wealthy few who are elderly themselves?
For anyone skeptical of this perspective, know that the Trump administration, with little real resistance from corporate-dominated Democrats, legally plans in 2020 to conditionally limit (Saturn) the SNAP (“food stamps’) program. Approximately 1 in 5 people, including children, are already “food insecure” (hungry) in the U.S. Most of those on the SNAP program are white and rural or small town, where jobs are few. Unable to find work, they may be cut off from groceries (“grow-Ceres”). Assuming that he and the Republican Senate retain power, there is a strong, unwise mean intent to destroy Social Security and Medicare. Add to that the “ageism” of layoffs, hiring discrimination, under-employment/part-time only employment, especially of the elderly we get hard times with no New Deal (at least so far).

Note that one by one, the members of the “baby boomer” generation will already have felt, or soon will feel, the stress corresponding astrologically with the difficult transits of Saturn and Pluto. Alarmists years back screamed that “death panels” would be part of “Obama Care.” However, unless starvation prevention is not legislated at some level(s) of government, the ad hoc death panels might well actually become the mostly millionaires (many septuagenarians) of the Congress, Democrats and Republicans, the Senate, the White House and “Wall Street’s billionaires --- their hard-hearted puppeteers.

WILL DEMOCRATS FINALLY DO THE RIGHT THING?

Decades ago, an astrologer writing under a pseudonym for THE WASHINGTON POST (pre-Bezos) made a strong case for the U.S. Democratic Party as “ruled by” the planet Saturn. The rationale was that their logo was a beast of burden (a donkey) and at the time Democrats were the party of labor. Saturn: do what is required and you will get rewarded accordingly. Even though the Dems since Bill Clinton have long thrown hard-working laborers under the Wall Street express bus, their continued association with the donkey logo connects them to Saturn.
That said, the starvation or prevention of starvation depends primarily on who and what policies that the hierarchy of the Democratic Party choses. The voters’ choice and possibly the nations’ salvation would be Bernie Sanders and his allies. Ex-Republican Elizabeth (“I like capitalism”) Warren would be a theoretical compromise possibility. Other potentially helpful individuals, including Marianne Williamson, are more important as conscience than probable candidates. Note that government and politics happen at state and local levels government too. The issues are the same: management and regulation of limited resources. Similarly, every employer, large and small, will either exploit workers or else act responsibly to their laborers and the interest of society at large.
Of course, the significant 2020 conjunction is relevant for all nations and all levels of government worldwide. As a U.S. citizen living in the U.S., and with the U.S. (at least for now) the biggest deal, worldwide, I’m emphasizing that story here at this time. In passing, just know that while at least half a million are homeless in the U.S., homelessness is also dramatically on the rise throughout Europe and Australia. Some 300,000, including children, are homeless in Birmingham, UK. (See Banksy.) Some U.S. cities have laws against feeding the poor and/or rummaging through trashcans while looking for food. Some homeless people have been attacked and even killed simply for being homeless.

WHAT TO GIVE TO THE RICHEST MAN IN THE WORLD
FOR HIS BIRTHDAY?

The exact conjunction of Saturn and Pluto occurs on Jeff Bezos’ birthday, January 12th. Bezos is likely the richest man in the world. Will the capitalist system, every government in the world and Bezos himself increase the misery and suffering of others, or will Bezos by choice, or legal/financial coercion, “do the right thing”? As of 2019, Bezos seemed fixated on space travel, implying that when this planet is no longer livable, Obama’s buddy Richard Branson, Elon Musk and Bezos intend to simply leave humanity behind, moving on to other planets to exploit and devastate. Fools that they are, they know not that Ceres doesn’t feed well in captivity. Beautiful Earth and Her Beautiful Daughter are all that She loves and blesses.

ISLAM’S Rise Then, What Rises Now?

At the last Saturn - Pluto - Ceres conjunct, Islam was the new reality that rose in the “Western World.” Starting in 2020, what will the new reality be? Will the US military hold to it’s ten year plan of “2020: Full Spectrum Dominance: land, sea, air, space and cyberspace”? Will Bezos (and his ilk) rule a world of unprecedented hunger, poverty and misery? Will, instead, governments and other social organizations regulate excess in order to maintain any civilization and population? Will, perhaps, some “dark horse” win, surprising the modern world as Islam surprised “Christian” Europe? Might such a “dark horse” be, perhaps, China? Might the American colonizing empire become a colony itself? Might the USA that had cornered seemingly every economic market, become Uncle Sam sitting on his dismal corner of the world holding a shabby sign: “Will work for food”?

Cycles Within Cycles

Pluto’s Returns for the U.S. are less than three years away. Some readers know that I’ve researched the Pluto cycle to be the approximate length of an empire (see Sir John Glubb’s THE FATE OF EMPIRES). The final dark phase 28 for the USA began with Trump’s inauguration; Phase 28 is the phase of “The Fool.” Before then, Saturn conjuncts the USA Pluto three times in 2020: Feb. 23rd, August 4th and finally November 30, 2020.
Historically, the last conjunction of transiting Saturn to U.S.’ Pluto was (within 2 degrees of a Total Solar Eclipse): U.S.-Iraq Gulf War Jan. 1991; also: the revelation that Panamanian dictator Noriega was paid a total of $320,000; his U.S. frozen assets were released to him. At the previous conjunction 12/11/1961: U.S. officially began war in Vietnam; in Israel, Adolf Eichmann was convicted.

The convergence of the USA’s transits and this rare multiple conjunction clearly tell us that business as usual is increasingly becoming a probable absurdity. My prayer now is this: May the powers that be do the right thing. May tragedy be adverted. Blessed Be (and Blessed Bees).

URANUS IN GEMINI and The U.S.A. (= The Uranus Scheme: America):

3/13/1781: Amidst astronomical Uranus is “discovered”in England while rebellious former citizens of the British Empire (and their allies) continue war against British troops in what had been thirteen British Colonies. Astrologically Uranus was at 24 Gemini 27’.

The former colonists had only ratified their union just twelve days earlier (or, as they would say at the time, in less than “a fortnight”). Later to be called the United States of America, the same initials, U.S.A. could also be seen to represent “The Uranus Scheme: America.

Astrologer Rick Tarnas has made a brilliant book–length case that astrological Uranus is in the nature of mythological Prometheus. However he has, to my knowledge, neglected to point out that Prometheus, who stole fire from the gods, is a thief. So, although Uranus can be seen as “The Awakener”or “Liberator”and otherwise heroically good, Uranus/Prometheus is equally a trickster thief. We can see the American Revolution in heroic terms, but realize that for the English, the colonies were stolen from the purported rightful owner, who had themselves stolen the land from the indigenous people. It serves us well to retain both perspectives simultaneously when looking at astrological Uranus in Gemini when Uranus returned and returns to that sign.

Some will say that Uranus “the Awakener” has brought us WOKE ––– chemical hair, chemical meds, more metal in their heads than Frankenstein’s monster... Uranus’ “Progressive”“progress”is powered by anger, bitterness, fear, intolerance and Promethean discontent. Woke people demand their own freedom, but do not tolerate others pursuit of freedom in his or her own way. Prometheus/Uranus thought God (Zeus/Jupiter) oppresses humanity. Hence many “Woke”people hate anyone who believes in a loving Deity, especially the Christ mythos. Economically Woke wants atheistic communism or mandatory socialism. Woke don’t want others to have free speech and other freedoms: the Awakener as oppressor.

THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION; The AMERICAN CIVIL WAR; WW II

So this time who in the future will be the perceived “good guys”, the “rebels” or the government?

Each time Uranus has been in Gemini since 1774, there are two important stories going on. One of those stories is the obvious visual strife of dysfunction and violence, even outright war. In both the American Revolution and The American Civil War, the overwhelming majority of the American population, just trying to survive where they were, rooting for neither side. Although many volunteered, soldiers’ pay, if any, was inadequate to support families, family farms and small businesses. Washington, our abusive founding father and ultra–wealthy landowner/land stealer, had his wretched, hungry, cold deserters shot or hung.

More white Americans. North and South, died in the American Civil War, about 4% of the population, about one dead for every four slaves freed. Even more soldiers from the North died than from the South , including lots of Irish immigrants otherwise without money or jobs. War is the solution to money problems: more money for the very rich, less economic tension from the poor.

The other story, almost entirely not noticed, is a tremendous, unprecedented shift in the economic status quo pre–existing before Uranus entered Gemini. Note that Uranus was in Taurus, the sign of money and banking, just before Uranus entered Gemini each time.

Gemini rules the hands, left and right. Analogous to a stage magician performing visual distraction with one hand and sneaky sleight–of–hand magic with the other, tremendous economic changes took place during, and especially after, each transit of Uranus through Gemini. Presumably something quite similar is to be expected this time as well. Stable coins for people to live in stables?

“NOT WORTH A CONTINENTAL”; “NOT WORTH A CONFEDERATE DOLLAR”

During the American Revolution, the currency of the rebels was notoriously worthless, both during and after the war. The Continental Congress’ army seized land, farm animals and much more, with the I.O.U.s reneged upon for pennies on the dollar. Similarly, during the American Civil War, Confederate = counterfeit. Confederate money was essentially worthless, especially after the war.

The end of slave–based economy impacted not just the plantation owners, but also the entire economy of many states. Meanwhile Wall Street made far more money from slavery (ships, stocks, etc.) than slave owners ever did. During the war, Wall Street made huge profits funding the war and reconstruction. While the war was going on, both in the North and the South, the wealthy could pay for someone else to go fight and even die in the war. Like other wars to follow, Wall Street made money during the war and in war’s aftermath.

The overwhelming white population of the South owned no slaves and reaped no profit from slavery, yet those were who bore the brunt of the consequences.

Recently freed slaves were similarly robbed of not only upward mobility, but in some cases were even worse off than before ––– sometimes to the point of near starvation. How free is a person of any color who can’t afford basic necessities?

Southerners property, owned by combatants’ or not, was seized or destroyed, along with most of the infrastructure (train tracks, bridges, etc.)

How did the impoverished South rebuild the infrastructure without slave labor? Human Blackbirds (i.e. “Jail birds”) were the despicable answer ––– “Jim Crow.”

Laborer jobs for Black men were few and far between. Because of a ruined economy and the racism of the time, unemployed “colored” men gathered on street corners to socialize. The law called this loitering, so they were arrested and put to unpaid work on chain gangs.

URANUS IN GEMINI: PROMETHEUS THE THIEF:
RADICAL AMERICAN ECONOMIC CHANGES:
TIME AND AGAIN, THE RICH GET RICHER

(almost 3 ½ hours long, but relevant for Uranus in Gemini during WW II)

* REVOLUTIONARY WAR: Great Prosperity for America’s Wealthy since England
no longer could take “the Lion’s Share”of the American Economy. Instead of rule by one monarch, now about 4% of Americans (white male property owners only) ruled
the 96%.

* CIVIL WAR: The end of the South’s slavery economy (everything “Goin’ South”) fortified the North’s industrial prosperity ––– no chattel slavery, but true wage slavery as more and more immigrants worked for even less money than the poor group that preceded them.

* WW II: Wall Street profited even more from funding WW II than from funding WW I, while once economic giant United Kingdom fell dramatically even lower than they had been coming out of WW I. The World Reserve Currency became the U.S. dollar, no longer the British Pound Sterling. Bretton Woods, New Hampshire, USA (7/1 – 7/22/1944) made this change with the consensus of the UK and over forty other countries. Not only that, the conference created the International Monetary Fund and the precursor to the World Bank ––– convenient for the Marshall Plan during Uranus in Virgo: putting Europe back in order to get the wheels of commerce turning again. From then until now, all business with other nations and their peoples was always far more favorable to U.S.’ economic interests who “held the long end of the stick.”

Meanwhile, war gave the federal government the excuse to snuff out any more of the 1,200 strikes that occurred from December 1941 through late summer 1942. Especially threatening was the coal miners’ strike of April 1943 involving at least 500,000 miners. The Smith–Connolly Act of June 1943 took care of that. The Taft–Hartley Act of June 23, 1947, overruled Truman’s veto added to control of the haves over the have–nots.

Also, FDR got directly involved in a labor dispute with consumer goods products Montgomery Ward when the 70–year old CEO refused to agree to collective bargaining. FDR had the Feds carry the old man out of his office and took control of his stores in Chicago, New York, Michigan, Colorado and Oregon. FDR’s rationale was that the labor dispute was undermining the war effort.

The urgent need for so many planes and such established the military–industrial complex, which of itself changed the U.S. economy from that time forward to at least 7/7/2025.

The precedent of “Rosie the Riveter”and thousands of other women working wartime jobs carried over in a postwar trend increasing later with the E.R.A. This undermined the economic power of Labor Unions. The consequent increased competition for jobs, including white collar jobs found women offered the same jobs as men, but offered and accepted much lower salaries. The wages of most women working outside of the home were on average only about 70% of the pay for the same job as a man. It was worse for women working outside of the home who had children, since most of them need/needed paid childcare. Autos for men and women to commute to many of those jobs and to get the kids to and from childcare were and are another expense for working men and women. Once again “freedom”(Uranus) is not free because it can be expensive! More profit for business owners comes from paying less for the workers.

HOW LONG A WAR involving American lives was needed to bring about economic and other power changes? Revolutionary War: about eight years; Civil War: about four years; GIs in WW II: about four years. FORESHADOWING: Uranus in Gemini, 0+ or 1+

I leave it to others to speculate about the specifics of this go–around of Uranus in Gemini for the place and people that has been the United States. However, any astrologically–based accurate observation is likely related to one or more precedents of when Uranus was in Gemini previously.

“The World Hangs By a Thin Thread...”

(Jung thought we might have about 50 years left (until maybe 2009). We made through the 1962 Cuban Missile Crisis thanks to JFK, RFK and Khrushchev. Now we have Ursula von der Leyden, genocide Bi Bi and his puppet, “the Donald.”)

Jung also said: “The State grows by keeping us apart” and spoke of “The Religion of Totalitarianism” (both videos on “rumble”; see also Jung videos from “The Academy of Ideas” also on “rumble.”) (Although Jung respected astrology, his naiveté about “The Aquarian Age” was inconsistent with his concerns about the survival of humanity at that exact same time period.)

For the United States, starting from about 250 years ago, the most important turning points historically have corresponded to Uranus in Gemini and Pluto in the Fixed Sign of Leo. I leave it to others to focus on these placements regarding other countries of the world and the people everywhere else in the world.

URANUS and PLUTO: Planets of The Modern World

Astronomical discovery of Uranus: 3/13/1781 in Gemini at 24 degrees 27’

(This approximate time range is considered by many, including Jungian James Hollis, as the beginning of “modern” man/humankind, coinciding with Goethe’s Faust.)

Astronomical discovery of Pluto: 2/18/1930 in the USA, between WW I and WW II

Uranus corresponds to the element Uranium; Pluto corresponds to the element Plutonium

PLANETARY DISCOVERY PERIODS and MYTHOLOGICAL CLUES

Dane Rudhyar was the first to notice that the years just before and just after the astronomical discovery of a “new” planet relates to the truth of the essence of that “new” planet. The American Revolution was just before and ongoing during Uranus’ discovery. The French Revolution was just after Uranus’ discovery. Concurrently, before and after, there was the Industrial Revolution. Unlike an unsuccessful peasant revolt of old, these revolutions changed everything. Before that, change wasn’t even much of a thing.

Astrologer Rick Tarnas made a brilliant book–length case for the mythological truth being more like the Titan Prometheus than Ouranos (”the sky”), although the aeronautical (beyond Gaia/ Earth) angle is also relevant.

Pluto (Roman name for the Greek Hades) is the Lord of Death and the Underworld. His Discovery Period spans the multiple deaths WW I and WW II, the discovery and unleashing of weapons of mass destruction and mass murder, Hiroshima–bombed with a Uranium bomb and Nagasaki With a Plutonium bomb, for starters. Chemical and biological weapons used on a mass scale also deal death since WW I, more deadly with passing time, not just for humans, but also for all mortal Earthly creatures.

Mythological Pluto became disgruntled if too many people lived too long. To be mortal, everyone is meant to die, every human individual, every country, every plant, every animal, etc.

OUTER PLANETS: URANUS and PLUTO: “Don’t take it personally.”

Rudhyar was likely the first astrologer to point out the difference between the “personal” “planets” (Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars), the “societal planets” Jupiter and Saturn, and the “transpersonal” outer planets, including Uranus and Pluto.

Far more importantly, though, Rudhyar stressed the importance of an individual person’s consciousness in relation to his or her astrological potential. Newer planets and such discovered by technologically improved telescopes and astrophysics symbolically “came out of the dark” of the unconscious. Most individuals, with or without any knowledge of astrology, unfortunately experience the astrology of outer planets (like Uranus and Pluto) unconsciously. That is to say, most are easily caught up unconsciously in media–fueled movements, easily manipulated into fear, anger and other less conscious negative emotions. Negatively realized, Uranus is forever discontent, prompting ANY change to always be seen as better, then followed by discontent with the most recent change. Don’t like your president? Anyone else must be better, right? (”How’s that workin’ out for you?”)

MINORITY REPORT: SIGNS and NUMBERS, NOT KEYWORDS
and CLICHES

“A little bit of knowledge is a dangerous thing” especially when it comes to astrology. Rather than trusting ultimately meaningless abstract astrological clichés, instead, the constant truth of astrological fundamentals and historical precedents show us a far more probable “forecast.” Specifically, regarding Uranus, see the immediate American history correspondences in Part Two of this article regarding when Uranus was previously in Gemini.

THE DEADLY ASTROLOGY of WORLD WAR II (and WORLD WAR III?)

For Pluto, it is important to understand Pluto since Pluto’s astronomical discovery to be expressed differently in each sign of the Zodiac. Consider Pluto in FIRE sign LEO, which is a FIXED sign. FIXED sign placements have a strong potential inclination toward POWER. We find The Lord of Death at his strongest (at least until Pluto in the FIXED sign of AQUARIUS (now). Remember, when the avoiding–the–bottom– line astrologers say that Pluto is about “transformation” that physical death is the ultimate “transformation.”

“HOPE I DIE BEFORE I GET OLD” (The Who: “Talkin’ ‘bout My Generation”)

For the “Baby Boomer” generation born with Pluto in Leo, each individual from that generation has, is or soon will experience the transit of Pluto opposite natal Pluto. For each person, he or she is reminded of their own mortality and that of other individuals as well as the inevitable end of life for everyone of their generation.

Pluto in Aquarius brings The Lord of Death into another FIXED sign, the sign opposite to Leo. Note that Pluto means riches, mythologically, hidden riches, underground. The term “Plutocracy” (rule by the rich) was coined (pun intended) in English in 1652 and the term “Plutocrat(s)” came into English in 1850. Living and now deceased Plutocrats (Now several (at least several) billionaires and multi–billionaires) want fewer people alive, particularly since the Uranus and Pluto conjunction of the mid–1960s. So a very few welcome the die–off of very many. The first astrologically viable time for those comparatively few to get their wish is now that Pluto is in Aquarius.

ALL WORLD WARS ARE NOT EQUAL.

The United States entered WW I very late in that war and profited from it financially. Similarly, the U.S. entered WW II later than other countries, and profited financially from that war even more than from WW I. However, everything is quite different now for the United States. No matter what chart one uses, the U.S.’ Pluto return corresponds to the end of the American Empire. “Uncle Sam” is now a grumpy old man (”Get off of my lawn, and my lawn is everywhere!”). This corresponds to geriatric present and recent leaders, of both political parties: Biden, Trump, Pelosi, Feinstein, etc., etc. The leaders are old, weak (physically, mentally, morally, etc.)

Americans were the vigorous heroes of both WW I and of WW II. However, Americans now are no longer seen worldwide as “the good guys.” The U.S. was technologically superior before, not necessarily so now.

Spiritually and otherwise, my personal advice is to hope and pray for the best, but psychologically prepare for the worst. Although many died, many were maimed, many lost loved ones, many were traumatized for years, now more than ever, one’s own consciousness is more important than ever. Denial is always a choice, but, in my opinion, never a wise choice.

IN PERSPECTIVE:

Every astrologer knows, or should know, that every event chart, like every other chart, is a complex of multiple planetary indicators, not just the story of a single planet. However, because of the unique unprecedented actuality and potential of vast mass murder and destruction regarding modern World War, focus here has been only on Pluto, Lord of Death. One could elaborate further, for instance, on Uranus transits during the same time period. Pluto is THE most important planet to study regarding that which is TRULY existential: physical existence itself and the threat to physical existence.

Sometimes, though, two exceptional historical turning points coincide or overlap in a relatively short time. One of those for the United States was the 1940s: a Pluto story intertwined with a Uranus story. Another such extremely rare time for the United States is NOW: late 2024 through January 2030. The United States’ Uranus in Gemini story that follows overlaps with the Pluto in LEO and AQUARIUS story just described.

Western astrology's planets' names came from Greco-Roman mythology and their applied mythology tells us exactly what issues to expect in human life, time after time. Kronos/Saturn ruled everywhere, everyone and everything, and so feared losing absolute power that he even ate his offspring.

Hades/Pluto and Poseidon/Neptune were two of the sons of Kronos/Saturn. For our purposes here, the relevant part of their mythology is the early phase, analogous to the conjunction: in dutiful alliance with their all-powerful father. So, Saturn conjunct Pluto conjunct M.C. in the chart of the CIA (9/26/1947, D.C. at 10:10 a.m. EST) shows obsession with attaining and holding absolute power. Pluto wore his helmet of invisibility when out of his Underworld domain of the dead. Hence the CIA is omnipresent and enormously powerful, yet invisible and secretive. More powerful than any president, each president must not dare do or say anything critical to or about the CIA. (Note JFK's demise...)

When Saturn and Neptune conjoin, a similar focus on power and control is in play, but with a different approach. Mythological Neptune ruled all Water everywhere. Human life experienced in Water is completely different than on solid ground, hence in a variety of ways astrological Neptune involves change of consciousness (or a lack of consciousness). When Neptune conjoins Saturn, at a non-personal level, the power-obsessed "State" is involved with changing consciousness in one or more ways. So, "The State" ("The Deep State"), ever-obsessed with absolute power and control, "changes consciousness" deceptive, cruel, ruthless — EVIL. To the State, every human is an expendable pawn; any viable political party becomes a tool. Even nations can be done away with when deemed no longer useful to the Imperial devouring "State."

Ordinary individuals can consciously choose to indulge EVIL or consciously choose to resist EVIL. However, neither choice is possible to any and all whose consciousness those with evil intent have altered. Hence, "Father forgive them for they know not what they do" — that is to say, don't blame the pawns of "The Deep State", whether those of exalted positions nor the humble everyman/everywoman. There are millions of "puppets" and very few "puppet masters", and perhaps most of the "puppet masters" will never be known to the rest of us by their names.

Only Saturn-Neptune conjunctions since Neptune's astronomical discovery are addressed here, and almost entirely focused on collective power issues regarding the USA. Even though these conjunctions occurred in different Zodiacal signs, note common threads to "then" and "now" (Saturn conjunct Neptune in Aries starting in 2025).

"Are we there yet?"

Saturn rules time, number and boundaries, typically definitive and precise. So, astrologically, one might think that the number of degrees for the orb of conjunction involving Saturn should be precise. However, a conjunction involving Neptune is anything but precise. Neptune rules water. It is easier to be precise about terrestrial boundaries than in water. On land, the boundary can be obvious: a river; a mountain; a wall; a fence. Demarcation in open waters without instruments is not the same. So, by analogy, we should not be dogmatic about when and for how long a Saturn & Neptune conjunction is operable. Historical correspondence tells us to consider at least a 10º orb. Outer planetary conjunction specialist Rick Tarnas starts tracking from a 15º orb. I agree.

"HISTORY DOESN'T REPEAT, BUT IT RHYMES"

# 1: Saturn Conjunct Neptune in late Aquarius, then early Pisces circa 1845, 1846:

THEMES: "Manifest Destiny"; California Takeover; U.S. versus Mexico

Saturn was exactly conjunct Neptune when astronomical Neptune was discovered (9/24/1846) on 25+ Aquarius (= Sabian Symbol 26 Aquarius)

Although this was not painted and seen until 1872, it is the one visual commonly
used to represent the concept of "Manifest Destiny"

"Manifest Destiny", taken as if told by Divine, saw the USA as morally superior, including slave ownership, Native American displacement and genocide, conquest
of formerly Mexican lands and entitlement to rule all of North America, "from sea
to shining sea." President Polk announced as government policy this popular concept to Congress. The "Mexican War" (i.e., the USA conquest of much of what had been Mexico. 6/10 to 6/14/1846: The "Bear Flag" Republic of California: American
white men.

# 2: Saturn Conjunct Neptune in Taurus (the Sign of Bankers, $): Circa 1881, 1882

THEME: Secret and Nefarious Actions Involving the Hyper-Wealthy

* Recently elected President Garfield intended to help the rights of Black Americans.

About two weeks before being assassinated (7/2/1881) by (who else?) a lone "nut", he had expressed his intentions for financial reforms. He said "He who controls the money supply of a nation controls the nation." Also, he said: "... The entire [financial] system can be very easily controlled, one way or the other, by a few powerful men at the top..."

* 1/2/1882: In secret, John D. Rockefeller created his Standard Oil monopoly.

NOTE: The dates for both of the above important events not only include Saturn and Neptune conjunct in Taurus, but also closely conjunct with those two were both Jupiter and Chiron (also in Taurus), and very loosely conjunct Pluto in later Taurus — An Astrological Live-Stock Market!

# 3: SATURN CONJUNCT NEPTUNE IN LEO, circa 1916 and 1917

THEMES: Propaganda + Sinking Ships

The sign of Leo is associated with royalty, and the British and German royalty were related by blood. With potentially deceptive Neptune involved, like the "something is rotten in Denmark" story of Shakespeare's tragedy, HAMLET, doubt what you've been told by the victors about the real reason for the war and the integrity of the victors.

Propaganda is a Neptunian way of changing consciousness. Most Americans did not want the U.S. to fight in WWI, but the City of London and Wall Street risked losing their investments in the war if Britain did not win.

Reluctant Americans were slurred as "isolationists" and swayed by propaganda lies about German atrocity and the illusion of ease and glory of war. The song: "Over There": "... The Yanks are coming..." was written the day after Wilson declared war and went public on June 6. (The sober reality set in after the war: See, e.g., All Quiet On The Western Front.)

As even that was not enough, the sinking of American ships by German U-boats down into Neptune's waters in March 1917. (Sat/Nep orb: less than ten degrees.)

THEME: Government Secrecy related to controlling people by covertly changing their consciousness in a variety of ways for a variety of purposes, including underage sexual exploitation.

MK ULTRA (and related projects and project name changes) was a secret CIA master program with over 100 sub-projects. So much was involved, including tales of drugging, torture, hypnosis, sex slavery [see (no direct family relation) Cathy O'Brien's story: TRANCE FORMATION of AMERICA] and much more. In fact, there is so much that it would take up too much space here and I'd likely still not cover everything in all the sordid details. The "umbrella" concept involved/involves investigating how individual behavior could be altered through covert means.

# 4: Approximately 1988 – 1990: SATURN CONJUNCT NEPTUNE

This Saturn-Neptune conjunction also included Uranus conjunct those two.
The sign of Capricorn is associated with government itself and corporate companies.

The title of this Report is "borrowed" from Charles ("Chuck") Young's story put out by COUNTERPUNCH 9/10/2012 about The Franklin Scandal from this time period.

THEME: The "Deep State" "on steroids": Circumventing Transparency and Democracy

No matter how complex "The Deep State" is, the CIA has been described as a metaphorical "snake pit." As such, the head of the CIA could be seen as the head snake: H.W. Bush. He was Vice President for eight years under Reagan, being far more active and influential as a VP than most VPs. He was President from 1/20/89 (only 51 days before the exact conjunction) until 1/20/93.

There are multiple Saturn-Neptune federal government stories, but also corruption, scandals and cover-ups at lower levels of business, in finance and, Neptune-related:
a BIG ship-wreck tragedy: the Exxon Valdez "oil spill." If you investigate stories told when Saturn conjoins Neptune, you will quickly learn that the "cover story" is likely to actually be a "cover-up" story.

The Exxon Valdez story is just one tragic example of this, and part of the truth was told to me by a Merchant Marine who gave me the inside story. VIPs in government and big business tend to deny any responsibility and instead project blame onto some "nobody" (a mentally disturbed assassin, a drunken captain, etc.

The "inside story" you won't hear anywhere else is that although oil tanker ship captains and crews were well-paid, they were (maybe still are?) driven at a relentless pace to maximize profit for wealthy share holders. Exhausted, sleep-deprived,
under-staffed, perhaps drinking too much to help them sleep and/or decrease stress, we aren't talking about hedonistic irresponsible "party animals."

Follow-up independent investigations (not by "mainstream media") revealed
long-lasting environmental devastation – not dish-soap squeaky clean.

Some Scandals at this time (1988, 1989, 1990) that some of us know about:

* Iran-Contra "Brokers of Death" (2.5 billion dollar arms sale to Iran by Republicans) prosecutions dropped; Republican HW Bush presidential pardons one found guilty

* Berlin Wall down 11/9/89; backstory: American corruption meets Russian oligarch's corruption...

* Savings & Loan Bailout: $40 Billion (a lot of money then) over 30 years

* Franklin Savings and Loan scandal: Rob from the poor, give to the rich: S&L supposed to help financial disadvantaged Blacks raided by the wealthy; sexual predators; witnesses discredited or die in plane crash; purported "Call Boys"
at the White House story vanishes...

THE FUTURE IS NOW

# 5: SATURN CONJUNCT NEPTUNE 2025 – 2026:

(less than10º orb since Feb. 6, 2025; less than 15º orb: Trump election 11/5/2024;
less than 10º orb: Trump shot at 7/13/2024) continuing in orb into 2026

NOTE: When any major astrological planetary ingress and/or aspects involving the first degrees of the "Cardinal Signs" (i.e., the Equinox and Solstice points), expect
a RADICAL new chapter for humanity, seemingly inescapable for every living "ordinary" person (more so for anyone born with any of those four degrees prominent in his or her birth chart. This is especially so for the first degree of Aries.

PURE SPECULATION: Possible Collective Themes:

* Saturn (law) in Mars-ruled Aries: Martial Law

* Neptune conjunct Mars-ruled Saturn: Changed consciousness (in a bad way) via Martial Law (SEE/HEAR "Truth stream" video link above about mind control – putting (then) monkeys to sleep. They've had years to perfect that, new technology, etc.

CONCLUSION:

Call me cynical if you will, but as long as there are empires and/or wanna-be empires, I don't expect much collective good coinciding with Saturn conjunct Neptune again. "They" are STILL evil after all these years. Don't count on B.B., Xi, Poppa Trump, J.D. Vance, Elon Musk, OR any politician. Democrats are defending sanctuary for the worst Mars types.

Instead, realize, like mythological orphan-like Chiron, no parent figure in federal government or the mega corporate world cares about you, or me.

Speaking of time, there is a WIDE time range for the relevancy of astrological changes involving one or more “outer planets” and others, like Chiron and Eris, beyond Saturn. Almost every astrologer de-personalizes astrological analysis by describing planets, asteroids, etc. in terms of “what” not “who.” As such, keywords are pieced together like the cutout pieces of a ransom note. Often this less accurate approach gets the general idea across, more or less adequately, even though devoid of any Soul awareness. (There is no Soul awareness through keywords.) Sometimes, though, without understanding mythologically “who” are symbolically interacting, the even the best keyword astrologer can at best guess at the meaning of a particular planetary-like alignment. This is particularly the case of astrological objects “in the dark” --- that is, those that are astronomically invisible without a good telescope, such as Chiron and Eris.

Chiron Conjunct Eris in Aries: Catch-22: The Movie

The film CATCH-22 was released 6/24/1970, with Chiron on 10+ Aries Sabian Symbol “President of the Republic” and Eris on 12+ Aries “A bomb which fails to explode” and the “Wild Geese” on the degree in-between. (I was 19, in college, anti-Vietnam War.) [Watch it for free on bitchute]

Joseph Heller, reluctant WW II bombardier, wrote the novel Catch-22 in 1953.

What number to assign to “the catch” was determined more through a process of elimination, not choice. It could have been “Catch-2025” instead, or, Catch-25, the Sabian Symbol degree for this month’s Chiron and Eris conjunction.

Heller was appalled by the Korean War, as well as by the U.S. mass aerial murder of civilians in WW II. (Please pardon the necessarily overly long following sentence:) The “catch” in the story was/is that if one can see the insanity of mandatory orders to mass murder and wishes to be declared insane to be excused from mass murder, then one’s self awareness of the insanity means, to one’s superiors and the psychiatrists, that one is indeed sane, and therefore not excused from continual bombing.

(very important book) The Sabian Oracle: 360 Degrees of Wisdom, Lynda Hill notes this degree as “The need to look at situations from all sides….Catch-22” situations.”

Chiron and Eris: Two Different Outsiders Look at the Shapes of Things

Mythologically, both Chiron and Eris were/are both outsiders to the Olympian V.I.G.s (Very Important Gods and Goddesses). However, their respective stances as outsiders were/are quite different. Chiron literally lived outside, outdoors. Humble Chiron was sought out where he lived, he never was self-promoting. By contrast, Eris, reluctant outsider, did not want to be excluded and deliberately stirred discord, starting with the V.I.G. Goddesses. So, what could happen when these two outsiders meet together? Did/does Wise Chiron influence action-oriented Eris?

Chiron in Aries the last time: “Burning the village in order to save it ”

Although it was late Chiron in Pisces when an unnamed Major said of a Vietnam debacle said “It became necessary to destroy the town to save it”, the Catch-22 absurdity of that insane mindset did not spread like “carpet bombing”, like fire from a spark, until Chiron was in Aries. Even before Chiron left Aries, the U.S. military left Saigon.

Aries: Cardinal Fire: The Spark to Start a Fire

Mythological Chiron was Ch-ironically the most improbable influential figure in Greek mythology. He was the bastard son of Saturn/Chronos in a Patriarchal era, abandoned by his mother, dissed (until Chiron’s deat)h by his stepbrother Jupiter/Zeus. Yet, just by being his unintentionally odd self, he influenced, one by one, the greatest of the great in medicine, music and much more --- catalyst for positive change.

So, in 1953, one guy writes a book. In the late 1960s. a couple of producers fund a movie version of that book. A successful director and some well-respected actors (and picture-perfect Pisces Paula Prentiss as nurse Duckett) make it happen. The film gets rolled out to theaters like Eris’ golden ball of discord. The story seems to be a “FUBAH” statement (“F’d. up beyond all hope), and yet, Ch-ironically, it seemingly helps stop a seemingly unstoppable popular war by changing popular opinion. Millions of young could-be draftees saw the movie, bought the book and acted by not complying (Chiron in action-oriented Fire sign Aries).

            At 11:10 pm EDT on Thor's day September 26, 2024, Hurricane Helene made landfall near Perry Florida. She headed approximately N.N.E. before bizarrely taking a severe diagonal Northwest from Northeastern Georgia. Like a high-speed runaway train, She continued rapidly on this uncharacteristic straight line inland and up hills, even up mountains!

The physical, financial, terrestrial, animal, and human life destruction was and is profoundly devastating. Just how devastating is still unknown several days later (at this writing).  At least hundreds died; at least hundreds remain missing (now also presumed dead). Well over a million homes and businesses remain without power many days later. Entire towns were obliterated; many roads and bridges are gone. Multiple post offices in multiple counties are now unavailable to provide services, including receiving mail-in presidential election ballots.

            Astrologically, Helene's path of death and destruction about nine days after the Lunar Eclipse of September 17 in Pisces (lots of water) and more importantly about five and a half days before the Solar Eclipse of October 2^nd in Air Sign Libra. As is typical, in following a Solar Eclipse, day by day (before the following Full Moon, 10/17), as Lunar light increases, more and more truth comes to light. Although this truth is relevant to other multiple important matters, the same unveiling of the facts is quite relevant to what Helene hath wrought.

            Speaking of the 10/2 Solar Eclipse, the Geodetic Map of that Eclipse shows the line of the Lunar South Node (Ketu) Setting just West and basically parallel to the hurricane's path, and Setting MOON line basically parallel just East of the hurricane's path (very near devastated Tampa Bay). As to be expected at a Solar Eclipse, the SUN Setting line is very closely geographically parallel to the Moon line (just East of it), with Black Moon Lilith also closely parallel (just East of the SUN line. Mercury Setting goes up the Atlantic side of Florida, continuing up near Savannah Georgia (and beyond).

Translating that jargon into English: some of those people under or near these lines (Mercury line less so) were destined to have some significant encounter. (Of course these same lines continue to further North and South latitudes, but no comment will be made here at this time regarding the later.) NOTE: Hurricane Milton is heading to central Florida as this is being written.

THE LAND REMEMBERS, THE LAND INFLUENCES HER RESIDENTS

            Unless you live or have lived here, or unless you have studied the history of the lands brutalized by Helene, like glib ignorant Northern or Left Coast urban snobs, you might easily dismiss these people as White Trash Hillbilly MAGA "deplorables".  Worse, like them, you might even see Helene, in her manifestation as the negative shadow of Black Moon Lilith as the baby killing Bitch taking the trash out of the gene pool. (Note: FEMA refused to let a truckload of donated babies' supplies be unloaded. Tell me please: Who are the deplorable people? Who are those who slashed the tires on some fifty semi-trucks loaded with volunteered disaster relief supplies?)   

            Long before do-nothing FEMA (at tax payers' expense) took over nearby still intact motels, leaving "no room at the inn" for down-on-their-luck homeless Christians, long before further away motels price-gouged $ 400 per night, long, long ago, there were different stories lived out on these lands.

            Before the white man came, these were the lands of some of the "civilized" tribes (that is, those who later adopted white man ways of dress, private property, even slave-owning). Most notable of these tribes were the Cherokee people. Their Cherokee language newspaper was a truly alternative media for the time.

             Like the present day people of these lands, and lands abroad, unfortunately the Cherokee were living atop valuable land, including in some places, atop gold (now lithium). Despite successfully legally appealing to the Supreme Court, in or around 1838, President Jackson and the Feds had them forcibly removed. About 25% of the 16,000 men women and children died heading West on the trails of tears.            Once again, Helene and her handlers have ripped the Eastern end of those trails open. Today's residents of Chimney Rock, NC, no doubt some with some Cherokee blood in their veins, are forbidden to return to their own properties. They are not even lead to their own Trail of Tears. That's progress for you --- Thank a Progressive!

            (As a personal aside, I have been to Cherokee land, including the Cherokee Museum in Cherokee, NC. While I was in another part of Cherokee country in North Carolina, I had the great honor to be the only white guy to be included in a sweat lodge ceremony there. When a Cherokee woman told them what I'd told her about Chiron, the men welcomed me as kindred spirit. Despite being in North Carolina's westernmost county, it seems that somehow Cherokee, NC herself was not hit as hard as other areas, including Chimney Rock.

            About 58 years prior to the trial of tears, in the American Revolutionary War battle of Kings Mountain, the character of the victorious, brave, "crude" "back-woodsmen" predominantly Scotch-Irish became legendary, earning the praise and admiration of the likes of Washington and Jefferson. They admired not just the men's bravery and effectiveness, but also their surprising intelligence and discipline. They resisted tyranny, wishing only to remain free with their homes and families, enduring the hard life living in the area required of them.

            Flash forward to the American Civil War. Unless you read David Williams' THE PEOPLE'S HISTORY OF THE CIVIL WAR, then you don't know that these hill people, Hill Billies and Hill Belles ("Hill-lenes", if you will) refused to fight, or have their men fight, in a war for rich slave owners. Would-be conscription officers were run out of these areas at gunpoint, knowing better than to dare try and ever come back again. That same spirit of resisting being forced from their homes, of being ordered around by the agents of rich men and self-important government men --- they'd have none of it!

            Flash forward (and backward) to the Moonshine distillers (and later, even some illegal pot growers).

            The current Helene havoc is no act of Nature, some Mean Mother Nature who needs billionaires and their minions to change Her climate and enslave good people everywhere, from Backcountry to urban back alley.

The etymology of the word Zodiac began as a band of animals. (The ancient Greeks saw Scorpio as a double sign - no Libra scales). A band such as a circular headband has a seam, a place where the last and first come together. If that band were to break, the likely breaking point would be at that seam. In a temporal sense, such as when Neptune is on this degree, there can be a sense of being "at the end of one's rope", a seeming "breaking point." Tragically, if not resistant to that sense of hopelessness, it is understandable for a person or a people to either despair (suicide) or to take some drastic, even mean or cruel action against other(s): "It's either me or you" thinking.

That potential breaking point in the Zodiac would be at the end of the last degree of Pisces, the exact place where Neptune was at the official start of the U.S. civil war, and the exact place where Neptune stationed to turn retrograde on July 2, 2024. Then as now, the question was: Will the circle be unbroken? The circle was/is the Union of the so-called UNITED States. So, what might the lyrics of the well-known hymn/song tell us about this time when Neptune highlights the last degree? Similarly, what do the lyrics of The Battle Hymn of The Republic, penned at the start of the U.S. civil war tell us?

The lyrics of both, both penned by women, are related to death and the continuity of kindred connections in relation to death in the heavenly afterlife: "There's a better life awaiting in the sky" says "Circle..." "Circle ..." was written in 1907, with slight revisions by A.P. Carter in 1935.

"Battle Hymn..." is all that, but a bloody (appropriate to the horrific carnage of the then ongoing U.S. civil war) second coming of a Book of Revelation Kick-ass Christ. "Battle Hymn..." was based on a Union soldiers' song about how "John Brown's body lies moldering in the grave." "Battle Hymn" poet Julia Ward Howe, had Pluto on this degree, and Mars in Aquarius Square Neptune in Taurus, singing that the Northern soldiers were executing God's wrath (strong vengeful rage), with a psycho Christ stomping blood/wine from the "grapes of wrath" and somehow also being the Bloody One Himself.

Of God she sang, "He has loosed the fateful lightning of His terrible swift sword..." Further, she has "read a fiery gospel writ in burnished rows of steel" and celebrates death: "Let us die to make men free." Obviously her "Jesus" was not "the Prince of Peace"! If she was/is around now, she'd be all in for a race war, cheerleading from the sidelines. Howe was an abolitionist, but she, like Lincoln, saw blacks as inferior to whites. For a time, Lincoln wanted to send the African-American slaves back to Africa. As sincerely opposed to slavery as he was, Lincoln mainly wanted to hold the United States in perpetual union --- the circle unbroken. Then as now, will the circle be unbroken?

A bit off topic, but an antidote to this Christian jihad jingle is Mark Twain's 1900 "Battle Hymn of The Republic, Updated" regarding the U.S. military's mass murder (in various ways) of over 200,000 Philippine people. (He had his Moon in this Nakshatra.) First verse:

Based on years of astrological practice, I see consciousness as making every difference in how an individual lives her or his life. That seems to have also been the case for the masses of people. There has always been a potential for evil elites to trigger massive atrocities (such as The Rape of Nanjing). However, now more than ever, the most twisted minds in science are perfecting mind control in a variety of ways, each a part of Fifth Generation Warfare, and the war is on each and every human individual, and specifically against the Soul. In the process, every animal, every plant, every Natural way of things is equally endangered in the Faustian insanity.

Collectively, whether regarding seemingly eminent world war, civil war, the psychopathological agenda of different power-obsessed individuals and groups, denial, etc., things look very bad right now. May it be so, since Scheat, on the negative side, is associated with the following below Please note that there are several varied positive potentials to Scheat, such as compassion and beneficence, but I'd be quite pleasantly surprised if such a movement were to overwhelm the ignorance and fear that dominates the majority now.

Also Note: Although there is a positive potential for healing here, note the current dubious "bird flu" scare and mass cullings now and expected soon can be the negative expression of the same area of focus. In the historically- based chart for the USA, the ongoing Neptune transit is in the sixth house, potentially related to physical health/illness/disease/injury issues. The months-long transit of Neptune on this specific "critical degree" corresponds to cause for concern.

Additional Note: Scheat is very closely conjunct a Black Hole, symbolic of falling into the depths: drowning, or depression, or both in the form of suicidal drowning. Ironically, the Sabian Symbol for the next degree, the first degree of Aries is a woman emerging from the sea.

Another Additional Note: Scheat means the upper arm, corresponding to in its constellation, the shoulder of the flying horse Pegasus. However, the ancient Chinese called it by a name meaning "encampment." it has recently leaked out that the Federal Government is requesting contractors to build camps in every one of the fifty states. Purportedly, those camps could be available to contain dissidents, if such a problem might arise. Hmm.

As with everything in astrology, there is definitely more to the total story of now and the eminent near future than just Neptune. Pluto, in particular, is retrograding back into Capricorn, in Sextile to Neptune, with various other planets and such making various aspects with Neptune as time unfolds. Note also that when we are dealing with, or dealt with, the astrology of planets, asteroids, etc. not visible with the naked eye, much is occurring in the collective unconscious. Similarly, dealings amongst Plutocrats and secretive agencies of all sorts leave most of us "in the dark." We don't know "the half of it" and probably a much smaller percentage than that. Most of us, no matter how conscientiously curious, don't know what is happening in the invisible realms of nano-particle technology, in "vaccines", in the stratosphere, etc., etc.

In part of 2025, Neptune will be on this degree for the last time, and not here again for multiple decades. Whatever comes to a seeming end in 2025, an end foreshadowed here in 2024, we know from astrology that every ending is also a beginning of sorts. A majority of Americans of different political persuasions (or the lack thereof) currently see the people of this country dramatically polarized with the distinct possibility of a civil war. Proponents of both probable (possible?) 2024 presidential candidates suspect an invalid November 2024 presidential election, if there will even be any election at all.

He appeared as an out-of-it as a stoner or a drunk, a lost old man on or in need of his meds. This "debate" occurred just before Neptune's station on this degree on July 2nd. Meanwhile, Neptuned Joe's political adversary, Trump, is seen by many as an angel sent by God. That is appropriately Neptunian in another way. Actually, though, this Sabian Symbol degree image tells each of us, particularly each American, that YOU are the one you've been waiting for --- not Poppa Trump, not Grandpa Fauci, not Sleepy Joe, not some "influencer" of any age, of any purported gender or of any stripe. The Sabian Symbol description (above) fits a short story from Nathaniel Hawthorne. The boy in that story saw one V.I.P. after another who he thought was that one great man. One by one, every one of them turned out to be nowhere near as great as he'd hoped for. While waiting years for some great man, he had neglected to instead be the best version of himself that he could be.

The face of stone reminds us of the presidential heads on Mount Rushmore: large than life, unattainable, aloof and, let's face it, dead. Statues of famous dead guys have been taken down elsewhere, so maybe Mount Rushmore will become Mount Crushed-more a part of Pluto in Aquarius eradication of the old world order to be replaced by the depraved New World. After all, a recent A.I. program reconfigured historic old white guys as females of color, etc. Central Bank Digital Currency will make all those green ink pictures of dead presidents obsolete. Isn't history re-written by the victors? Which would leave us with --- What? Stay attuned.

Speaking of Mount Rushmore, on July 4th of this year, Trump's team released a 68 second video of Rushmore, Jets, helicopters and fireworks over the cliff face along with a replay of Trump's 2020 speech there. In that speech he said the monument will never be desecrated, those heroes will never be defaced, etc. Further: "Those who seek to erase our heritage want Americans to forget our pride and our great dignity so that we can no longer understand ourselves or America's destiny." Astrologically, no matter where one aligns on this matter, the issue is more timely than ever coinciding with Neptune's months'-long focus on this critically significant Zodiacal degree.

On July 13, 2024 Thomas Matthew Crooks (a possible Oswald-like Patsy) became a post mortem infamous celebrity, ala John Wilkes Booth. Remember the Sabian Symbol has a boy and "the great stone face." Note the image on his T-shirt presented all over the internet and on TV: Mt Rushmore super-imposed over the American flag.

            A majority of Americans of different political persuasions (or the lack thereof) currently see the people of this country dramatically polarized with the distinct possibility of a civil war. Proponents of both probable (possible?) 2024 presidential candidates suspect an invalid November 2024 presidential election, if there will even be any election at all.

            The etymology of the word Zodiac began as a band of animals. (The ancient Greeks saw Scorpio as a double sign – no Libra scales). A band such as a circular headband has a seam, a place where the last and first come together. If that band were to break, the likely breaking point would be at that seam. In a temporal sense, such as when Neptune is on this degree, there can be a sense of being "at the end of one's rope", a seeming "breaking point."  Tragically, if not resistant to that sense of hopelessness, it is understandable for a person or a people to either despair (suicide) or to take some drastic, even mean or cruel action against other(s): "It's either me or you" thinking.

             That potential breaking point in the Zodiac would be at the end of the last degree of Pisces, the exact place where Neptune was at the official start of the U.S. civil war, and the exact place where Neptune stationed to turn retrograde on July 2, 2024. Then as now, the question was: Will the circle be unbroken? The circle was/is the Union of the so-called UNITED States. So, what might the lyrics of the well-known hymn/song tell us about this time when Neptune highlights the last degree? Similarly, what do the lyrics of The Battle Hymn of The Republic, penned at the start of the U.S. civil war tell us?

            The lyrics of both, both penned by women, are related to death and the continuity of kindred connections in relation to death in the heavenly afterlife: "There's a better life awaiting in the sky" says "Circle…"  "Circle …" was written in 1907, with slight revisions by A.P. Carter in 1935.

            "Battle Hymn…" is all that, but a bloody (appropriate to the horrific carnage of the then ongoing U.S. civil war) second coming of a Book of Revelation Kick-ass Christ.  "Battle Hymn…" was based on a Union soldiers' song about how "John Brown's body lies moldering in the grave." "Battle Hymn" poet Julia Ward Howe, had Pluto on this degree, and Mars in Aquarius Square Neptune in Taurus, singing that the Northern soldiers were executing God's wrath (strong vengeful rage), with a psycho Christ stomping blood/wine from the "grapes of wrath" and somehow also being the Bloody One Himself.

            Of God she sang, "He has loosed the fateful lightning of His terrible swift sword..." Further, she has "read a fiery gospel writ in burnished rows of steel" and celebrates death: "Let us die to make men free." Obviously her "Jesus" was not "the Prince of Peace"! If she was/is around now, she'd be all in for a race war, cheerleading from the sidelines. Howe was an abolitionist, but she, like Lincoln, saw blacks as inferior to whites. For a time, Lincoln wanted to send the African-American slaves back to Africa. As sincerely opposed to slavery as he was, Lincoln mainly wanted to hold the United States in perpetual union --- the circle unbroken. Then as now, will the circle be unbroken?

            A bit off topic, but an antidote to this Christian jihad jingle is Mark Twain's 1900 "Battle Hymn of The Republic, Updated" regarding the U.S. military's mass murder (in various ways) of over 200,000 Philippine people.  (He had his Moon in this Nakshatra.) First verse:

                        Mine eyes have seen the orgy of the launching of the Sword;

            He is searching out the hoardings where the stranger's wealth is stored;

            He has loosed his fateful lightnings, and with woe and death has scored;

            Based on years of astrological practice, I see consciousness as making every difference in how an individual lives her or his life. That seems to have also been the case for the masses of people. There has always been a potential for evil elites to trigger massive atrocities (such as The Rape of Nanjing). However, now more than ever, the most twisted minds in science are perfecting mind control in a variety of ways, each a part of Fifth Generation Warfare, and the war is on each and every human individual, and specifically against the Soul. In the process, every animal, every plant, every Natural way of things is equally endangered in the Faustian insanity. 

            Collectively, whether regarding seemingly eminent world war, civil war, the psychopathological agenda of different power-obsessed individuals and groups, denial, etc., things look very bad right now. However, on page 777 regarding Scheat, Diana writes about "…sorrows and disasters that lead to reforms and new beginnings. And now and then, miracles!" May it be so, since Scheat, on the negative side, is associated with the following below Please note that there are several varied positive potentials to Scheat, such as compassion and beneficence, but I'd be quite pleasantly surprised if such a movement were to overwhelm the ignorance and fear that dominates the majority now.

Note: Scheat was prominent in the chart of J. Robert Oppenheimer ("father of the atomic bomb") The possibility of nuclear war is currently very much "on the table" as the grim saying goes.

Also Note: Although there is a positive potential for healing here, note the current dubious "bird flu" scare and mass cullings now and expected soon can be the negative expression of the same area of focus. In the historically- based chart for the USA, the ongoing Neptune transit is in the sixth house, potentially related to physical health/illness/disease/injury issues. The months-long transit of Neptune on this specific "critical degree" corresponds to cause for concern.

Additional Note: Scheat is very closely conjunct a Black Hole, symbolic of falling into the depths: drowning, or depression, or both in the form of suicidal drowning. Ironically, the Sabian Symbol for the next degree, the first degree of Aries is a woman emerging from the sea.

Another Additional Note: Scheat means the upper arm, corresponding to in its constellation, the shoulder of the flying horse Pegasus. However, the ancient Chinese called it by a name meaning "encampment."  it has recently leaked out that the Federal Government is requesting contractors to build camps in every one of the fifty states. Purportedly, those camps could be available to contain dissidents, if such a problem might arise. Hmm.

                        As with everything in astrology, there is definitely more to the total story of now and the eminent near future than just Neptune. Pluto, in particular, is retrograding back into Capricorn, in Sextile to Neptune, with various other planets and such making various aspects with Neptune as time unfolds. Note also that when we are dealing with, or dealt with, the astrology of planets, asteroids, etc. not visible with the naked eye, much is occurring in the collective unconscious. Similarly, dealings amongst Plutocrats and secretive agencies of all sorts leave most of us "in the dark." We don't know "the half of it" and probably a much smaller percentage than that. Most of us, no matter how conscientiously curious, don't know what is happening in the invisible realms of nano-particle technology, in "vaccines", in the stratosphere, etc., etc. 

            A very important part of  "the Big Picture" astrologically in 2025 will be Chiron's frequent intense Square to Pluto in 2025, to be addressed in another Astrology's Minority Report. For now let me just say that Chiron is about SOUL. Please listen to the brief video: War On The SOUL:

            In part of 2025, Neptune will be on this degree for the last time, and not here again for multiple decades. Whatever comes to a seeming end in 2025, an end foreshadowed here in 2024, we know from astrology that every ending is also a beginning of sorts. Maybe, indeed, there is "a better life awaiting", maybe even somehow here with Anima Mundi.

            Following this astro-logic, our current and unfolding era at one level (literal and figurative lower level) fits a bizarre theoretical possibility: Plutonian human-like non-humans far below the surface of the Earth. Astrology seen as a form of mythology is real symbolically, whether also literally "true" or not.

            In ancient legends in North America and elsewhere there are/were stories of "people" living underground, whether known as "The Ant People", "The Skin Walkers", etc. In recent history, it is commonly known that national leaders of the U.S. and UK had underground spaces to escape actual or potential life-threatening adversaries. Mark Zuckerburg is the latest Plutocrat to announce his deep underground residence (in Hawaii). Does he know something that most of the rest of us do not know?

            However, there is also a far less commonly known story about an underworld far deeper and far more vast and widespread. Clearly, an abbreviated re-telling the later is a job for Astrology's Minority Report-er. Specifically, this lesser known movie-worthy story comes from Phil Schneider (born 4/23/1947; died 1/10/96 or 1/11/96).

However, Schneider was saying some very specific things more than 25 years ago that are now talked about in some circles. For instance, over 25  years ago, he said that the evil aliens feed off of and got a drug-like thrill from human adrenacome. You may have heard certain contemporary "conspiracy theorists" mentioned this as the drug of choice of certain powerful elites. Further, he spoke of "they" control the weather. This is what is currently called geoengineering, with patents for such going back to the same time that Western U.S. underground tunnels and such were made. Was Schneider's experience ahead of his time?

            Phil Schneider had a high-level federal security clearance for his 17-year employment for the U.S. military as an expert geologist and structural engineer. He announced that he broke his vow of sworn secrecy in either 1994 or 1995 (sources differ) because of his concern about some federal and corporate collaboration with some aliens who live below ground. According to whistle-blower Schneider, who said in 1995 that he was dying of cancer, some of these underground aliens and their human (hybrid?) collaborators planned to destroy most of humanity by about 2029. Supposedly, about a billion worldwide would remain as slaves to the aliens, hybrids and collaborators. This year coincides with Klaus Schwab's World Economic Forum, and the U.N.'s  2030 goal of a total transformation of humanity. (By 2030, "You will own nothing…")  Those many V.I.P. thousands living below Earth's surface would presumably survive the devastation above.

            As of 1995, Schneider said there were 129 underground small cities in the U.S., and two more planned or then under construction. Other countries have similar underground tunnels, etc. that Schneider also worked on, as well as some underwater, subterranean submarine bases. Each U.S. "base" was connected to others via a high tech high-speed railroad. Tunnels were rapidly made with state-of-the-art technology, and all below ground technology was/is decades-more-advanced than above ground. The first of these bases was said to be built in 1940 for the President, etc., but bases in the American West were built starting post WW II, 1947 or earlier. Keep in mind the threat of nuclear war at that time. Also note the classic Roswell New Mexico story.

            President Eisenhower supposedly made a peace treaty, the Greada treaty of 1954, with some of the hostile aliens, including uranium for their space ship(s) and having the aliens provide the names of their supposedly few abductees. 25 years later, though, there was a different story.

OLD WEST SHOOT-OUT, BUT UNDERGROUND

            In 1979, near Dulce, New Mexico (near the Colorado border), while geological trouble-shooting far below Earth's surface, Schneider and scores of U.S. military and federal agents (FBI? CIA? DIA?) supposedly got into a battle with "large Grays". The story goes that Schneider shot and killed one of those non-humans, but nearly died and was severely wounded by radiation directed at him from the Gray's body. Schneider repeatedly emphasized that although the aliens were/are in many ways far superior to humans, they were/are mortal. They can be killed, but are extremely deadly to humans.

"IF YOU CAN'T BEAT ‘EM, JOIN ‘EM"?

            I have not found any explanation from Schneider about what happened between that 1979 battle and later collaboration. Most or all amazing human post WW II technological accomplishments were all supposedly from alien technology.

            If you can believe Schneider, there were/are eleven different types of underground aliens. Of those, four benign types, and one of those four "angelic" and good of heart. Another one of the good ones was smaller than typical human adult. (Yoda? The movie ET?) The Pleidians (origin story of the Cherokee) were not only benign, but were adversarial to the malefic aliens.

            Of the other seven types, the malefic ones, in three of his 1995 presentations, he only mentioned three: the Large Grays, the Small Grays and the Lizard-like aliens. (Is David Icke onto something?)

                              WHY DID SCHNEIDER "BLOW THE WHISTLE"?

            Schneider, riddled by multiple health problems, threw away a lucrative career, risked being seen as a fool, the related stress contributed to his divorce, and he even risked his life. Why? Why did he "blow the whistle"? He sincerely believed in the goodness of humanity, even government and law enforcement personnel, The Declaration of Independence, The Constitution and its Bill of Rights, and a wholesome American way of life. If the evil were exposed and opposed, alien and collaborative, he believed that Good could triumph over Evil. Some cynics will smirk at his story; other cynics will see him as a stupid idiot sure to be ignored, forgotten, or worse. You be the judge.

                          IT ISN’T HEALTHY TO BE A WHISTLE_BLOWER

            Schneider said that as soon as he started speaking out, there were thirteen attempts on his life (including being shot at) within just a few months. Several UFO/alien conspiracy type colleagues of Schneider died at or before 1995 under suspicious circumstances. For instance, a fellow Portland Oregon area friend and UFO conspiracy author was "suicide-ed." That is, his death was first declared a suicide, then the police declared that death an unsolved homicide, but the investigation was halted. Shortly thereafter, Schneider was wheel chair bound and needed to wear a catheter.

            His car remained in the same place and Phil did not answer the door for days when his friend came to check on him starting January 10, 1996. A week later, that friend and Phil's apartment manager found Phil's body. Supposedly catheter tubing was tightly wrapped around his neck, tied in the back. The police declared his death a suicide, but his friends, his fans and his ex-wife are certain that he was murdered for telling too much.

            Although I have no time of birth for Schneider, I calculated his chart for 11 a.m. to indicate "interesting" transits at the time of his birth. Note Uranus and Juno on the Sabian Symbol: a secret businessman's meeting, with Neptune nearby. Hmm. Also note transiting Mars and Mercury Opposite Phil's Saturn and Square his Sun and Square his Chiron, and exactly Square his progressed Chiron. What do you think --- suicide or homicide?

            Was Phil Schneider just mentally ill, one more American "lone nut", or might Pluto's transit of Aquarius be more than just theoretically foreboding? If he was really onto something significant, we will likely all know relatively soon.

The same story repeated and repeats over and over, with only different names for the individuals challenged to an enormous challenge. As the story goes, first, "evil despots seize power." In the past of course the power to rule belonged to royalty. Nowadays, we can simply say that the wrong people are in charge. How can we know that? The rest of this story gives the clues. To maintain their power, money, land and/or other things of value are taken from the ordinary people, not just as a slight tax. In pre-modern times most people worked the land as farmers and such.

            Another part of this story is that the land itself (Anima Mundi) does not provide adequately when most needed under the economic duress. Starvation, or "food insecurity" became the norm. The mood of most people was understandably very sad. Now we would term this widespread depression, medicated depressed people or not. The "powers that shouldn't be" turned the army against the citizens of their own nation. Now we would call that a "police state."

            As the story went, as the story goes, this grim reality would continue unabated until, if and when Chiron would mentor a young male, who is the rightful heir of the throne. The training of such an individual would uniquely prepare him for the specific challenge to right the wrong. Besides being trained in many cases in martial arts and battlefield medicine (first aid), he was equally trained in ethics, respect for women and elders, etc.

            Then, when the time was right (presumably determined by Chiron with astrology, omens, etc.), the young male would begin his quest. Perhaps hearing such a general story reminds the reader of fictional stories and movies, particularly from astronomical Chiron's discovery period, approximately at least 1962 through at least 1992. If so, that shows us all of the timeless relevance of the Chiron myth. As the late Joseph Campbell said about myth: "never was, but always is." Unlike fictional writing and movies, we alive now have no guarantee of a happy ending.

            In fact, we currently have "anti-Chiron" evil mentors, who have trained the young (male and female, white and otherwise) to further their evil agenda of total control, causing widespread human suffering and death, and environmental devastation. (Mythological Chiron was the defender of Nature --- and not with "carbon credits" and such!)

            Specific "anti-Chiron" evil mentors include Klaus Schwab who chose young leaders to take over ruler-ship of formerly sovereign nations. These include, but are not limited to, Justin Trudeau and Chrystia Freeland in Canada, Jacinda Arden, Gavin Newsome, and Pete Buttigeg. Another "anti-Chiron" evil mentor is Anthony Fauci, who told children that Christmas could only happen because Santa Claus (?Santa Klaus?) purportedly got vaxxed. Yet another "anti-Chiron" evil mentor is Bill Gates who, amongst other insidious things, wants trees cut down and buried supposedly somehow for the sake of the environment.

            So, our collective challenge is not only as daunting as those of people in the past or in fictional stories, but even more so, in seemingly unprecedented ways. However, the story of every Chironic "hero", from Asclepius to Orpheus to Heracles and many others, tells us that the improbable is not necessarily impossible. "It ain't over until it is over."

Just as our collective challenge is more ominous than those of other times (fictional or historic), the story can be modified this time. Instead of one Chiron and one would-be hero, this time there can be many Chirons and many would-be heroes. For anyone who is past the age of 50 (i.e., past her or his Chiron return), it is not too late to wisely mentor one or more of a younger generation, if sought by him/her/them. For anyone under 50, may you find your Chiron mentor(s) and restore Goodness, Truth, and Love to a world lead away from all that by insane evil despots.

We should … realize we cannot overcome evil. We can only undermine it through modesty (being conscientiously correct), reticence, and the power of inner independence (inner truth). Amazing muralist/researcher/writer Robert Hieronimous (Wikipedia), (the late) astrologer Chris McRae and others validated Johndro's correspondences. So, from 0+ East Longitude through 30 degrees East Longitude = Aries the Ram; 30+ through 60 degrees East Longitude = Taurus. (There is a fascinating application to these Geodetic correspondences for the different portions of the USA, but that is another story.)

            Our focus for now is all about the Taurus geographic region, especially Sun in Taurus Israel, and on Palestine. From this perspective, Gaza City and Tel Aviv correspond to 4+ Taurus. Sabian Symbol degree image: "A youthful WIDOW, fresh and soul-cleansed from grief, kneels At an OPEN GRAVE to receive the secret of eternal life." Live at that degree of longitude at your own risk!

            Chiron was discovered on the previous degree 3+ Taurus "The pot of gold at the end of the rainbow." Chiron in any chart indicates a problem area, tragedy unless wisdom prevails. The Lunar Eclipse of Oct. 28, 2023 was on the next degree 5+ Taurus. Hence the world's attention is here and now, for at least months. Both sides in the current deadly Middle Eastern debacle are stubborn as bulls. Both transiting Jupiter retrograde and transiting Uranus retrograde (the latter conjunct Israel's Sun) linger in the sign of the bull. Potential good change is retrograde - not moving forward. Don't expect sudden positive change there now, or soon.

            I find helpful insights for our "Tropical" astrology by looking at the mythology of the constellation of the same name, even though there is less of an in-line relationship of Tropical sign placement and constellation of the same name. Think of it this way: someone, oneself or one's ancestry, from one country/culture moves to another land, yet holds onto much of his or her ancestral heritage (e.g., an Irish American).

            So, what's up with the constellation Taurus? Well, there are different possibilities for Taurus, one of the oldest of constellations. The commonality in the different mythic stories is would-be romance complications. In one version, Ishtar (Venus), spurned by heroic Gilgamesh, sends down an angry bull to kill Gilgamesh - a mad bull, as in the Rolling Stones' December 1969 (Chiron in Aries) "Gimme Shelter."* (Warmonger Obama's favorite Stones' song.)

            So, what's up with Tropical/Western Taurus? Purportedly a Feminine sign ruled by female Venus. One version of mythological Taurus has Zeus/Jupiter disguising his paramour Io as either a bull, or as a young heifer, trying to avoid the ire of his wife Hera/Juno. In another version, Zeus turns himself into a most handsome bull in order to seduce Queen of Phoenicia (modern day coastal Lebanon) and take her away to Crete.

Choose your preference or reject them all. However, I reduce the choices to either the passive young heifer victim of Biblical lore, or the dangerous mad bull --- war, rape and murder --- just a shot away --- unless redemption by Love --- "just a kiss away." If you see the images of widespread destruction of Gaza, it looks like some huge mad bull stomped a lot of it from above, the angry bull from the sky.

Mad Bull, or Holy Cow Sacrificial Offering?

            But is that the whole Taurus story here, or in addition or instead is there another mythic/biblical story? Less than a month before the Hamas began to attack Israel, coinciding with The Jewish New Year Rosh Hashanah, five "red" heifers from Texas were delivered to Israel, intended for a very special purpose. (Four of those young female calves are still qualified for that special purpose.) The Christian Texan deliverer and the Israeli recipients had and have the best of expectations. However, we are living in an era of much discord and separation not only between peoples and nations, but also within nations and within religions. Approximately half of modern Israel are said to be atheists. Pious Jews there do not agree on everything, nor do American Christians agree on everything, red heifer sacrifice included. Speaking of divisions, how many know, or remember, that Israel created Hamas, not realizing that creation would become a dangerous nightmare for Israel?

Some words about the red heifer sacrifice:

            Note that touching a dead body, or being in proximity to such, is why a cleansing is needed involving the red heifer sacrifice. This fits in with Geodetic degree 34+ East Longitude (widow at an open grave), adjacent to Jerusalem at 35N14.'

            It is estimated that the valid heifer(s) will be age-ready for sacrifice approximately by Autumn 2014. Theoretically, might that be Chanukah (begins Christmas 2024) (re-dedication of the Temple of Jerusalem)? Instead, might that be Sukkot (starts 10/16/2024)? Perhaps it might be Yom Kippur, 10/11-12/2024? Or, will it be (astrologically most viable) Jewish New Year Rosh Hashanah (starts 10/2/2024) 

            One week after the Hamas attack (10/7/2023, 6:30 a.m. local time), there was a "ring of fire" Solar Eclipse.  

There will be another "ring of fire" Solar Eclipse on 10/2/2024, on the same degree (10+ Libra) as the Ascendant of the Hamas attack chart!

            So far, the astrological and geodetic analysis presented here emphasizes the "where" of astrology. The other component of astrology emphasizes the "when." When Chiron is/was in Aries, wars are particularly stupid, tragic and unsuccessful. The last time Chiron was in Aries the Vietnam War dominated. Note that Mick Jagger, who co-wrote "Gimme Shelter" said that the lyrics of that song involved the seemingly apocalyptic implications of that war. This time we have had the Ukrainian war failure. Don't expect any "good" and "successful" war fought while Chiron in Aries, including the current one in the Middle East.  Mythological Chiron, a centaur, was part animal. The less wise see "the other" as less than human when Chiron is in Aries. In the Vietnam Era, the de-humanized were the Viet Cong and the North Vietnamese, then called "gooks" --- or worse.

            In the current war, equally bad or worse human atrocities can be rationalized because, purportedly, "the other" is seen as an animal or such --- less than human. The scope of human tragedy cannot be under-estimated, and the war has barely begun. Minority Report Astrology, at best, sees the positive (or negative) of every individual, irrelevant of nationality or organized religion.

Commentary on the 10/7/2023 Attack Chart

            Astrologers likely immediately notice the T-cross (or Grand Cross depending on orb) in this chart: Ketu/Lunar South Node conjunct Mars in the 1^st house, opposite Rahu/Lunar North Node conjunct Eris in the 7^th house, both sides square Pluto in the 4^th house. Pluto is the lord of Death and the lord of the Underworld, quite at home here. The major terrestrial battleground, engaged or avoided, are the infamous tunnels below. Eris, mythically uninvited, is a mythic representative of Israel. Famous for throwing something to stir up discord, is appropriate. Rahu/N. Node in Aries is rageful and lacking foresight, but Pluto in the house of "the end of the matter" wins in the end. Ketu/S. Node indicates for Hamas a karmic condition involving justice/injustice. Mars is ready to fight, hence the attack. However, Pallas Athena exactly conjunct the Ascendant more emphasizes Hamas' defensive strategy rather than attack.

            Buried alive in the tunnels is more likely to be the fate of the Israelis (and purportedly already some U.S. military allies). Of course this situation is also dangerous for Hamas. However, they have (if you can forgive the term), the "home field" advantage.

            Note all these placements in "Cardinal" signs, not "Fixed" signs. Expect the dynamics of war to change easily and frequently: first the invasion attacks, then the shelling and bombing, next the land invasion. Years and years of the same repetitive incessant rocket attacks seem unlikely.

            Remembering Chiron in Aries in the Viet Nam War era, expect some Israelis to be opposed to being sent to their probable death. Remember the U.S. Viet Nam vets who deserted, the "draft dodgers", and even the "fragging" of some gung ho West Point low level officers, and the tragedy of death and dismemberment (wounded warrior) by "friendly fire." History doesn't repeat, but it rhymes in painful mourning.

            The open end of this T-cross is the chart's tenth house, Hamas' leadership, and/or (derivatively), increased insecurity about safety (Cancer) in Israel.

Ashes to ashes, dust to dust, tunnels turned tombs. Ain't progress great? "Greater Israel" looks astrologically highly unlikely. Chiron in Aries tries to tell us all that war is not the answer, but "When will they ever learn? When will they ever learn?"
