September closes the eclipse gateway. Intensities start to ease. We come home to ourselves, changed, but true to our authentic nature.

We gain critical insight on the new worlds we’re building with our beliefs, through our communities. We’re shown just how far we’ve come on our healing journey, not just this past eclipse season, or this past year, but since Chiron entered Aries and Uranus entered Taurus back in 2018.

After Mars’ square to Saturn retrograde is exact on September 1 and begins to decrescendo through September 10, we have a moment to catch our breath. To steady our rhythms. To devote to what’s present and what’s most alive for us. The astro-weather picks up from September 10 onward.

So, let’s get into it.

Venus in Scorpio ✧ September 10 - October 25, 2026

Technically, Venus in Scorpio is in detriment because Scorpio is opposite her queendom in Taurus. However, Venus’ energy in Scorpio is quite alluring, and I’ve always dubbed this archetype the Venusian Enchantress.

Her magick is unafraid of its own sharp edges, sees through to the truth of things, and gazes into the infinite darkness of the shadow with no fear in her heart. If you work ritually with Venus in Scorpio during this time, you’ll be well-prepared for what seeds in your lived experience when she retrogrades through the water sign in October.

Venus immediately squares Pluto retrograde in Aquarius (through October 25, peaking on September 15), generating a glistening, fertile tension, eliciting passion and deep, devotional revelations.

Mercury in Libra ✧ September 10-30, 2026

When Mercury enters the Venus-ruled air sign, the messenger god immediately forms harmonizing trines to Pluto retrograde in Aquarius and Uranus retrograde in Gemini, peaking on September 12 and 13 respectively.

Simultaneously, Mercury casts a lightning rod of tension across the Zodiac, forming oppositions to Neptune retrograde and Saturn retrograde in Aries, peaking on September 12 and 18.

This sets the scene for breakthrough. For generative communications.
For accountability – to ourselves, to our dreams, and to each other.

Mercury in Libra is focused on seeking the just, harmonic Truth.

Uranus Retrograde in Gemini ✧ September 10, 2026 - February 8, 2027

Yes, it really does last that long… But Uranus retrogrades for half the year, every year, so do not sound the alarm. Just like I’ve said with Pluto, Neptune, Chiron, and Saturn, we’ve spent about half our lives acclimating to these retrograde seasons, so I don’t think the collective reaction to these retrogrades tends to be as immediately intense, severe, and quickly chaotic than the quicksilver Mercury retrograde periods.

That said, this particular Uranus retrograde is influential and an important milestone in the Uranus in Gemini journey. Last year, Uranus retrograded from the early degrees of Gemini, back into Taurus, where the planet of disruption and humanitarianism has been since 2018.

This time, Uranus will not re-enter Taurus, making this our first retrograde season that is entirely contained in the new Gemini frequency. This makes it a great time to reflect on just how far you’ve come on your soul journey since…

As if enough wasn’t shifting on September 10, the New Moon in Virgo just before midnight eastern time officially closes the second eclipse season of 2026.

When the Moon is new, the Moon and Sun are exactly conjunct in the sky, establishing Mercury at 0 Libra as the sovereign ruler of this lunation.

This creates fertile ground for a complete mental reset and nervous system recalibration.

And it’s a good thing too, because this Moon, square Mars in Cancer, also tees us up for an opportunity to show just how much we’ve learned from Jupiter’s year-long Cancerian masterclass, punctuated by Mercury retrograde late this summer.

This alchemical tension asks us to remain courageous in our communications, and both self-compassionately and empathetically firm in our boundaries.

Chiron Retrograde in Aries ✧ September 17, 2026 - January 6, 2027

As we discussed last month, after spending a short time in Taurus, Chiron stationed retrograde, and is now making his way back into Aries, where he’s been championing a journey of collective self-healing since 2018.

Chiron will station direct on January 6, 2027 and will remain in the fire sign until April 14. These are our final moments to steep in the energy of Chiron in Aries, and kneel at his healing altar until 2068. This is a time to be present with the lessons you’ve cultivated under this trainer of heroes over these last years.

In the Northern Hemisphere, the Sun’s entrance into Libra marks the Autumnal Equinox.

Then the scales tip into Fertile Darkness.
The Sun in Libra sees Persephone enthroned.

As we walk this seasonal gateway, we embark on a divine descent into the Underworld, inner and outer. Into deep self reflection and into preparation for the experience of Winter. It’s a time to harvest the fruits of our labor.

Full Moon in Aries ✧ September 26, 2026 at 12:48 eastern

This Moon, conjunct Neptune retrograde and sextile Pluto retrograde, is ruled by Mars at 29 Cancer, and the Sun, by Venus in Scorpio, which points right back to Mars in Cancer.

As I said, these lunations are alluding to experiences where we may have to show our devotion to our newfound boundaries. One of my beloved teachers and healers Marianne Mitchell put me onto this word, temenos - it quite literally means sacred ground, a piece of land “cut off” and dedicated to the divine. To create the sanctuary, to create temenos, we have to hold the line.

These lunations invite us into various degrees of embodied experience around this. I find that the more deeply we need the medicine of the lesson, the more we try to turn down the volume, skip the chapter, or avoid the experience, the more severe the lived experience can be.

That’s one of the reasons that I find ritualized astrological wayfinding to be so crucial – I don’t want to learn lessons the hard way. In fact, I want to be so responsive to the lessons, that they feel like butterfly kisses (lol).

When we can look at the astrology and say, “okay, well it looks like I may have to have a hard conversation that week,” we gift ourselves the opportunity to orient well, prepare our nervous systems, and do our best to generate and align with the highest possible outcome.

The energy of this lunation feels like it holds the same potential of a slingshot, or a bow and arrow. Drawn back, unafraid to be first, to strike, to succeed. Bull’s eye.

So in this way, we’re banking on our success. We’re visioning, activating, and living into our highest timeline.

Mars in Leo ✧ September 27 - November 25, 2026

The first time I tried to record this episode, I recorded it on mute.

as i’m writing this, mercury has officially cleared his shadow, marking the official close to a remarkably powerful retrograde.

if you listen to the podcast or come to our live calls, you know i forecasted that this mercury retrograde would be a deep season of emotional integration and embodied reflection upon the jupiter in cancer journey that lasted june 2025 through june 2026.

i don’t know about y’all, but my jupiter in cancer journey was very much A LOT.

• my sister found out she was pregnant.

• my soul dog died.

• she led me to my puppy kylo.

• i got married to my soulmate.

• i started my substack.

• my sister lost her baby 2 weeks before her due date.

• i finally went no contact with someone after 6 years of trying to avoid it.

• i went back on medication for my depression, adhd, and anxiety (there’s no medication for the ‘tism, so don’t worry, the meds will never kill my weird).

• i started the most transformational group container i’ve ever been a part of: captolia’s witch + famous, started my podcast, and really landed in the energy of what is NEXT for me.

• i left a job i’d devoted myself to for 6 years.

• i hired + fired a client that would have been repeating the same pattern of the job i was leaving.

this mercury retrograde + its shadow period (the time where mercury is retracing his own steps, moving through the degrees he already passed over once while direct, and then again while retrograde, and now a THIRD time direct) also corresponded with the half-birthday of my angel nephew + therefore the 6-month mark of my no contact journey.

to say my shit was rocked is an understatement.

but ultimately, what i gained was the expansive understanding that part of the promise of this incarnation is emotional experience. it’s a big reason why we are here - to steep in it all, to feel it all, to experience the magick of the spectrum of emotional possibility + potential, and to radiate our authenticity through every wave, pang, bluster, and inspiration.

my experience of this mercury retrograde was deep, thorough, touching every cell, every aspect of who i am.

now i am mercury ruled, so i’d say i’m highly sensitive + primed to have this type of experience - but let me know in the comments what it was like for you. i’m interested to know if it was meh, just another month, or if you are as changed as i feel.

on top of what i was anticipating on the emotional integration front, something really interesting happened to me during this time. as a certified chatterbox, with a quick remark or cutie insight up my sleeve at all times, i felt so SILENT.

every time i went to write something, every time i went to record a video or an episode for the pod - or even EDIT one of the many episodes i have waiting in the wings for you, i simply didn’t have it in me. all i could find was silence, stillness, and integration.

and you guys must have been IN IT too because it was radio silent on our scheduled calls, which neverrr happens in this way. but i ate it up honestly because i truly needed this sacred time to just feel my feelings + honor my journey so far.

now with mercury clearing his shadow + preparing to enter leo on august 9, i feel like my silent sabbatical is complete.

The Astrology of July is a live wire.

In the final days of June…

Mars entered Gemini (June 28 - August 1)
Mercury stationed Retrograde in Cancer (June 29 - July 23)
the Moon was Full in Capricorn (June 29 at 19:56 eastern)
& Jupiter entered Leo (June 30 - July 26, 2027)

If that sounds like a whirlwind, it’s because it was.

It set the stage for July to be one of the most monumental months of the year.

In addition to the Mercury Rx that carries us through July, two other planets station retrograde this month:

Neptune Retrograde in Aries (July 7 - December 12)
Saturn Retrograde in Aries (July 26 - December 10)

Although these retrogrades WILL invite distinct reflection around our journey so far, since Neptune & Saturn entered the fire sign earlier this year, these planets spend about 50% of the year in retrograde every year.

This means we’ve spent 50% of our lives with these planets in retrograde (as opposed to Mercury which equates to about 17%). All this to say - these retrogrades are a little more business-as-usual than a Mercury Retrograde.

The astrology of July is SO radical that these retrogrades do not get their own mention in this month’s episode. So now that that’s out of the way, let’s dive in.

The New Moon in Gemini is steeped in the mystique of the dark feminine.

Not the white-washed, patriarchal, socialized illusion of femininity.

The deep, dark, lush, and sacred feminine from which we all came, and which lives within each of us, still, in every. body.

As someone who doesn’t subscribe to or identify with the so-called gender binary, I have such reverence for the way that both the masculine and the feminine brought me into this incarnated experience, and continue to exist, dance, and swirl within me.

This Moon, engaged in a sacred embrace with both Chiron, trainer of heroes and wounded healer, and Black Moon Lilith, the original feminine imprint and in ways, our inner fallen angel, reveals what is coming up within us to embrace, alchemize, and revel in, rather than suppress, ignore, stifle, or banish.

It is a restoration and a reclamation of the feminine as not just sacred light, but also holy darkness. The reintegration that starts to heal and undo the way we’ve tried to shun, deny, and squish our feminine expression into an appropriate container.

This is a Moon of challenging norms.

Of holding the multiplicity of truth in the unity of your own being.

In the dark night of this New Moon, we answer a soul calling to reflect on our journey since last June, when Jupiter first entered Cancer.

As I mentioned earlier, this lunation occurs both opposite Black Moon Lilith and sextile Chiron in Aries. It’s also the first New Moon in the mutable air sign since Uranus entered Gemini in late April.

When I first laid eyes on this chart, my very first thought was:

Anti-Patriarchy Moon.

I think that every. body. is being called to get reflective around your relationship with the feminine. Explore the edges of what femininity is to you, and unpack how that belief, feeling, structure came to be. Do you want it to remain as is? Do you want to transmute it, here, now?

Four months ago today, my sister Ashlyn received the devastating news.

At 38 weeks, they could not locate her son Trace’s heartbeat.

One month ago, I woke up and wrote the poem below.

This morning, I woke up with that same heavy heart, and every second I spend with my own grief, I know my sister and her husband Austin are having an exponentially more tremendous experience.

I’m sharing this to welcome you in encircling Ashlyn, Austin, and Trace in the embrace of pure, divine love.

three months ago,
the world stopped turning.
i don't know how many people noticed,
but i know we did.
we've been living in a blip,
a glitch,
a time outside of time.
from the moment we heard the news,
the fragile glass of reality began to shatter.
how could there be a future,
if there is no you?
it's something we're all still trying to figure out.
the only things i truly know are these:
every time my heart beats,
i wish i could stitch it into your chest.
every time i take a breath,
i wish it could fill your lungs.
maybe that will never go away,
and honestly?
that's fine with me.
because thinking of your tiny hands,
tiny feet, tiny angel face,
with every heart beat, every breath,
is leagues better
than never knowing you at all.

In so many ways, I feel like I’ve been living in such a dualistic paradigm, and I suppose that’s just the Uranus-in-Gemini era radiating its true colors.

Sitting in the deepest well of grief I have personally ever known, while also experiencing radiant blessing, expansion, and hope.

As my heart stretches to hold it all in unity, I feel so blessed to have your love and support. To have been able to launch a podcast out into the ethers + have it so warmly received. To have my books filled with folks who want to talk about the great mysteries of consciousness. It is so good to hold and be held by you each.

My astrological journey has been influenced by so many bright minds, mentors, and thought leaders, but far and away, the most influential force in my journey with astrology has been my relationship to the celestial bodies themselves.

Because I am first and foremost an Animist Witch, my approach to astrology has always been steeped in the magickal and the mystical, with distinct reverence for our more-than-human allies on this living Earth and beyond it.

Instead of learning about Mercury as simply “the planet of communication,” I was immersing myself in the mythology of Hermes and the other messenger gods, making offerings at my altar, sitting in vigil with candles, going on expansive meditative journeys, and ultimately, I think, befriending these celestial bodies as the energetic entities that they are.

I finally feel like I’ve reached the place in my career where I can do more than just read your chart, or educate you on the basics of astrology:

What Pluto represents.
The frequency of Gemini.
How an opposition feels in the body.
The way a transit may show up in your life.

Okay, let’s dive back into the frequency of this Full Moon in Sagittarius…

This lunation has two planetary rulers; Mercury right at home in Gemini rules the Sun while Jupiter in Cancer is the lunar ruler.

In this case, Jupiter and the Moon are actually in mutual reception; this means that the Moon in Sagittarius is ruled by Jupiter in Cancer, and Jupiter in Cancer is ruled by the Moon in Sagittarius, on and on in an infinity spiral).

That’s part of what makes this Moon feel so BIG. Jupiter is absolutely massive on a literal, energetic, and experiential level. Whatever Jupiter touches expands and increases.

The Astrology of May lands us in the full-blown embodiment and experience of the new chapter that the outer planets have effectively ushered into being.

Okay, back to la luna.

This lunation has three planetary rulers:

✦ Venus in Gemini ruling over the Sun in Taurus,
✦ Pluto in Aquarius as the modern ruler of the Moon in Scorpio,
✦ Mars in Aries as the traditional ruler of the Scorpio Moon.

This is a massive overhaul in how we connect, who we connect with, how we move through the world, and what evolution we are evoking from consciousness itself.

The astrology of the moment is demanding that we come face to face with the reality of who we must become to live our destiny, and be honest and action-oriented about what is revealed in that obsidian-mirrored-shadow. That we don’t get fixated or entomb ourselves in a freeze response.

That we move, that we shift, that we evolve. That we take aligned action from a space of inevitability, claiming the future as already-ours.

This first Full Moon since Uranus entered Gemini reminds us that reality is perhaps more malleable than we’ve ever allowed ourselves to believe.

What we think, feel, say can become our reality with a speed that will knock us off our feet if we don’t acclimate to the new atmosphere.

The Moon in Scorpio is enthroned, elevated by wide, gushing grand water trine with the North Node in Pisces and Jupiter in Cancer, which also form loose sextiles to the Sun. Under the light of this Full Moon, alignment with our purpose becomes mandatory, and boundary becomes vital.

We’re being called to designate our energy, our legacy, our harmonic field as sacred territory, as hallowed ground. To cross a threshold of demarcation that declares that any extractive, siphoning frequencies falter and disengage, and we become completely unavailable to the sharp, poison-tipped claws of parasitic entities.

Just before Uranus enters Gemini, Venus, goddess of love and beauty, graces the final degree of Taurus, kissing the Uranus in Taurus era goodbye for good.

(Uranus entered Taurus all the way back in 2018 and will not return to the fixed earth sign until 2102…so, that’s all, folks!)

With her loving embrace and allure in her domicile, Venus makes her mark on the revolutionary mind that is Uranus, lighting the path forward with loving intention and radiant presence.

Venus makes her entrance into the electric aura of Gemini on April 24, 2026, with Uranus close behind, joining the planet of magnetism and adoration on April 25.

If you’re tuning into this transmission in real-time, this Venus-Uranus conjunction is already active; it began on April 19, and will continue onward even as the planets cross the Taurus-Gemini threshold, through April 29, although the conjunction peaks in Taurus on April 24.

As Venus flirts her way through Gemini, she lays a foundation of loving kindness that brings a warmth to what would have likely otherwise been a cold, calculated beginning to the era.

This heat, this passion, this divine feminine essence brings us into a higher, more loving state of being. It reminds us that at the heart of revolution is community care. That the answer to disconnect, to harm, is soul connection, and love.

Uranus’ entrance into Gemini pretty immediately awakens sextiles to Saturn and Neptune in Aries and a trine to Pluto in Aquarius. These harmonious aspects offer threads of power to the change that both Pluto and Uranus plan to offer the world.

Later this summer, when Jupiter enters Leo on June 30, 2026, the planet of luck and expansion will form another sextile to Uranus, likely bringing an undeniable focus to where Uranus is activating your chart and your life.
