I’ll be making my way (slowly) back to New Orleans next week (!), with some stops down the coast to see new and old friends. Exact dates are flexible, and I’m happy to make slight tweaks to my itinerary for particularly exciting inquiries.

Boston 8/14 - Tentative stop, 4 hour minimum. I’m dying to revisit the collection at the Isabella Stewart Gardiner museum with a cutie’s arm around my waist… be my date?

I’ll be taking a short trip to San Francisco at the end of September for some personal travel and would love to meet a few select new friends while I’m visiting. Believe it or not, I haven’t made it back to California since 2016! Really looking forward to reacquainting myself with the city and dipping my toes in the Pacific. All this talk about travel and you may be thinking to yourself, “what on Earth kind of podcasts is that beautiful girl listening to so she doesn’t lose her mind?” Great question. Lately, the answer is “Cool People Who Did Cool Stuff”, a fun (and surprisingly optimistic) leftist history podcast by the brilliant Margaret Killjoy - highly recommend checking out this episode in particular about labor organizing among sex workers in the US.

I am so excited to be kicking my summer off with a spontaneous trip, 6/1-6/3!

I can’t wait. Since it’s such a quick cameo this time, I’ll be prioritizing longer entanglements - think footsie under the table at dinner, a stroll through the Japanese Gardens, cocktails at your favorite speakeasy, etc. I recommend submitting your application to be my personal tour guide (with benefits) sooner than later!

I’m also thrilled to announce that I’ll be offering duos with my sweet friend and longtime crush, Seattle’s own Crystal Chambers. Crystal’s warm and bubbly presence puts you at ease instantly and effortlessly, and we’ve had some serious sexual tension simmering basically since day one - lucky you (and lucky me)! In the meantime, I will be posted up in New Orleans enjoying the last few weeks of gorgeous patio weather before it becomes fully Dante’s Inferno-level summer. Some particular favorite patios of late include the beautiful secret garden at N7, as well as the very sexy and discrete Tell Me Bar - my bestie Lily Arlette recently put me on to an absolutely phenomenal (and surprisingly chill) weekly popup there featuring fresh local sushi, and I’ve been dying to go back.

Have I mentioned I love duos with Lily? I really do. IYKYK, and if you don’t know yet - I recommend you find out soon. Bonus points: she’ll be visiting Seattle at the same time as me! If you’re picking up what I’m putting down… you know what to do.

Some things that I loved in April, in no particular order:

This incredible piece by Martín Ramírez at the Museum of American Craft in NYC. “Outsider art” never fails to pull strong emotion from me, and this show was no exception. It made me cry, in a good way. Ramírez’s story - a Mexican immigrant who was arrested and diagnosed as schizophrenic without an interpreter, spending the rest of his life in the California psychiatric system - was new to me, and I haven’t been able to stop thinking about it since.

I’m also not exaggerating when I say I was gasping out loud/visibly fangirling at the realization that the exhibit included some of Henry Darger’s original notebooks and artwork (nerd alert!). I’d love to return to this museum on my next NYC visit (and it is conveniently just a hop and a skip away from Per Se, just saying).

It’s the peak time of year to be exploring Louisiana’s beautiful & weird swamps and bayous, and I’ve been taking my little canoe out every chance I get. Everything is so beyond alive and vibrant and I’ve been counting my blessings big time for living in such a special part of the world.

~ Wishlist ~

First of all, happy spring! We made it. This really is my absolute favorite time of year to be in the South - it’s 100% patio date season (ahem), everything is blooming, and the air is heavy with the smells of flowering orange blossoms, jasmine, gardenia, and… crawfish boils. If you know, you know. I’ve recently made a pretty major upgrade to my life and installed an outdoor clawfoot tub in my backyard, and have been having some very long and luxurious springtime moonlit soaks in the garden. Okay, maybe *I* didn’t install it so much as watch my much handier friend install it while handing them tools and providing a six pack for their trouble, but hey.

Great news for my NYC sweethearts: I’ll be making a little cameo April 7-12th! Really looking forward to seeing some familiar faces (you know who you are) as well as meeting some new friends. As usual, I have a veritable laundry list of restaurants I am frothing at the mouth to snag a reservation at - if you’re interested in hearing the list, or in showing me your favorite parts of the city (please!), I recommend getting in touch sooner than later via my booking form. The early bird gets the omakase seating, you know? Let’s plan something cute!

I’ve been spending a lot of time with my record player lately, which inevitably means I’ve also been spending a lot of time sorting through and rediscovering my vinyl collection, usually with a glass of wine in hand. Songs, Ohia’s “The Magnolia Electric Company” and basically Linda Rondstadt’s entire discography has been on heavy rotation all spring. Speaking of, it’s perfect weather for me to take you to my favorite local record store, wouldn’t you say?

As per usual, I’m juggling 100 books and not finishing any of them. However I did just start Tony Tulathimutte’s “Rejection”, a collection of short stories about the topic of, you guessed it, rejection, and am cringing out of my skin (in a good way) so far.

As someone who’s always been a sucker for both personal reflection/nostalgia and sexy/sparkly eveningwear, New Year’s has always appealed to me at the very least on an aesthetic level. However, I do almost always end up choosing to stay in and be cozy with my drugged-up dog. This year was absolutely one of those years - candles were lit, dog was snuggled, and you couldn’t have pried me off of my couch if you tried. On New Year’s Day, I sat in my backyard with a few close friends and some exceptional homemade bloody marys, soaking in the Louisiana winter sunshine while we each went around and shared our our dreams and hopes for the coming year (cute, I know). I noticed that there was a common thread in all of our hopes for softness & compassion towards ourselves so we can be better towards others. So, in that spirit, I tend to look at New Years as less of a time for rigid resolutions and more of a time of gentle intention setting: less “what can I check off this list?” and more “how do I want to feel?”. I’m a big believer in hope as an active practice rather than an amorphous vibe, something we weave into our days over and over. I wonder, what do you hope towards this year? For yourself, for others? How (and what) do you want to feel?

While I’d love to continue to yap on here about our respective resolutions for the year, I think we can both agree that it makes for some pretty premium pillow talk IRL. January has some travel on the horizon already - I’m excited to be returning to NYC 1/13-1/16, and the right date pitch might sway me to stay in the city an extra day. Here are some cozy NYC date ideas that have been floating around in my head, in no particular order:

• NYC is my favorite city to eat in, hands down, and you really can’t go wrong with a good old fashioned wine ‘n’ dine. Some spots I’ve been particularly keen to try lately include Saga, Jungsik, the Office of Mr. Moto, and (of course) Eleven Madison Park.

• It is freezing outside, and I am a delicate little flower, therefore what could be better than warming up with a long soak & massage at Aire? Followed by something equally as relaxing, if you catch my drift.

• I have been absoultely haunted (in a good way) by the memory of the best cocktail I have ever had (clarified Calpico and mezcal/yuzu little number, trust me), at the gorgeous Nubeluz bar at the top of the Ritz Carleton. I think I should probably show it to you.

• Okay, hear me out. We grab cocktails somewhere cozy and then head over to Scentbar, a really fascinating little spot in NOHO that specializes in niche perfume. We each take some time picking something out, and will permanently get transported back to the afternoon we spent together whenever we put it on. Scent is such a strong link to memory and I think this is a very romantic and cute thing to do.

• Oysters? Oysters.

One of my intentions for 2026 is to travel more, both for business and pleasure. I have loose plans for visiting San Francisco (haven’t been since my early 20s) and Chicago (never been!) sometime this year, but can always be spurred on to visit a little faster by a tour sponsorship if you can’t wait to get your hands on me. I was lucky enough to enjoy my first FMTY this year, and am so so excited for future adventures of that variety in 2026! I don’t know, I really think there’s something very sexy and exciting about hopping on a plane with the express purpose of having a good time with someone far away.

January’s media picks:

I’ve been really leaning into the various compilations from one of my favorite record labels, Little Ax - delightfully diverse and unique collections of rare recordings from around the world. I’ve also been loving this album from Brazilian vocalist Bebeto Castilho - sounds like cooking dinner with the kitchen window open on the first cool day of fall.

Yes, I’ve been watching the gay hockey show, and yes I want to talk about it. On a slightly more highbrow note, I’ve been revisiting Wong Kar-wai’s gorgeous work, and simply cannot stop thinking about the various moody backgrounds in his perfect movie In the Mood For Love.

I’ve been beginning to pick my way through Samin Nosrat’s beautiful new cookbook that was on my wishlist, thanks to a sweet someone. Nosrat’s approach to cooking is really such a reflection of her lovely personality and I’m just so so charmed by her.
