Elon Musk is popular for always applying the concept of first principles.

But if there’s something I’ve realised about life, it’s that the first principle is not physics. It’s spirit. Really, it’s a spirit question.

Most entrepreneurs and creators are talking about first principles. They are obsessed with stripping the problem to its core, the atomic level core. They are concerned, as they should rightly be, about how to build things from the ground up.

But before we can rebuild anything from the ground up, the first question we should ask is what is the Ground?

In my 40+ years of sorjour, I call that ground Spirituality.

I’m not talking about religion.

I’m not even referring to a set of rituals.

I’m talking about Spirituality.

Everybody subscribes to Spirituality, whether they admit it or not.

Nothing solid can be built on our five senses because it is limited knowledge, too shallow, and unstable.

Only Spirituality offers a framework to answer the following four questions every human being faces.

So the questions include: Where do I come from? Why am I here? What is right and what is wrong? And where am I going to? Right?

These four questions can be framed as Origin, Meaning, Morality, and Destiny.

Origin talks about where we come from — I wonder why people are still debating it.

Meaning talks about why we are here — the question of purpose that has plagued wise men in every civilisation.

Morality is our definition of right and wrong — even this is an ongoing debate. Culture is constantly defined and redefined in relation to this subject.

And of course, Destiny defines exactly where we are going to after our time on earth is done.

When we can answer these four questions correctly, everything else in life—our business strategy, relationships, politics, how we choose to parent our children, our finances—is downstream.

We shouldn’t outsource the answers to these questions to culture.

When we adopt these answers blindly, it is dangerous because it ultimately becomes the lens through which we view everything else.

So here’s the part a lot of individuals try to resist: that lens has to be single.

Most people have also argued that the lens doesn’t have to be single. Some believe it’s okay to have multiple lenses through which we view life.

To such persons, I refer them to Elijah on Mount Carmel.

That ancient prophet stood before the Israelites and said, “Look, how long will you guys waver between two opinions? If the LORD be God, then serve Him, if it’s baal, then serve him”

These same questions are asked of us today.

Jesus puts it very clearly when He said, “If your eyes be single, your whole body will be full of light.”

The Greek word there is haplous. Haplous means simple. Whole. Undivided.

It does not mean blind in the sense of being ignorant. Rather, it means the eye is fixed and locked to a point.

It’s like an archer, or a sniper; they aim for precision. Closing one eye is not missing one’s vision; it’s aiming not to miss the target.

Someone may ask, "What do we gain from maintaining a single eye?"

It’s having Personal Clarity, Stability and a Stronger Influence.

A person whose body is full of light does not have to announce it, because those individuals become lamps.

People are attracted to them because they know exactly where they are going and what they are doing.

So before you start optimising your habits or calendar, tweaking and working around your business, building strong relationships, or trying to fix your calendars, you want to ask yourself: really, what exactly is my eye fixed on?

Because if you lock your eyes on it, every other thing is just downstream.

Introduction

So I’ve been thinking about this issue of fear for some time now, and I remembered the story of Gideon. And those numbers need investigation.

So I did.

What I realised is that in this world of high-tech achievement, people want to achieve a lot.

We’re told the more you have, the better, right? A bigger team, a bigger budget — you’ll be able to do much more.

But the story of Gideon is a radical counter-perspective.

Because what we see is that success is not actually founded on how much resource one has, but on some other dimension entirely.

The Numbers Behind Gideon’s Army

The mathematical reduction of Gideon’s army is really interesting.

This man started with 32,000 men and ended up with just 300 — about a 99.06% total decrease.

God was telling Gideon: Israel will win this war, but I don’t want them boasting that their own ability caused the victory.

And this behaviour somehow shows up in modern behavioural psychology, too.

I think this is biblical maths that approximates human behaviour.

Level One: The Fear Test

When the fear filter was first administered, a large number of soldiers opted out.

Gideon told them: Whosoever is afraid should go home. Immediately, 22,000 people walked away.

That’s 68.75% of 32,000 men.

This made me curious — was this just random?

So I checked, and there’s actually research that suggests the same estimated range.

Psychologists call it the Athelas effect, or the 70% regret metric.

This metric says nearly 70% of people admit they failed to fulfil their ideal potential, as per what they aspired to accomplish, because of what’s called the four horsemen of fear: fear of judgment, fear of failure, fear of inadequacy, and fear of the unknown.

I believe everybody is talented, because God ensured equal distribution.

But many don’t self-actualise because talent gets neutralised by risk aversion before the engagement even begins.

They self-select out of greatness because the cost of showing courage feels too high.

That’s the first level.

Level Two: The Water Test

The second water test was taken by the 10,000 who stayed, and only 300 passed it. Only the men who lapped water from their hands were chosen.

Some argue that this test measured alertness.

But the bible didn’t say that.

In modern terms, this mirrors what’s called the sieve of mastery. This trait complements bravery.

Bravery — the willingness to stay — is fairly common; we see it in about 31% of those who remained.

But what’s often missing is Situational Execution.

None of them knew what was expected. But somehow, 300 did something appropriate and necessary to pass the test.

This also mirrors the 3% rule in organisational psychology: many are willing to try, but only about 3–5% possess the hyper-focused clarity and precise habits that real execution demands.

Gideon’s final 300 is less than 1% of the initial 32,000, and I think they fall in the 3% bracket per modern organisational science.

Reflection

So even though this looks like a biblical story, research is somehow approximating this ancient account. To me, this shows how humans behave.

The question is: where are you in that spectrum?

We know that Fear eliminates the majority — that’s true.

So ask yourself — is your excuse fear, or lack of courage?

Paul told Timothy, “So much has been loaded inside you by prophecy, go ahead and fan into flame these possibilities, for God has not given us the spirit of fear…”

That advice is golden!

The second filter is precise execution — situational awareness, situational intelligence, knowing exactly what to do at a given time, even when nobody hands you the rules.

The remaining 30+% who get cut fall short here — they lack that wisdom.

This stage requires a combination of high discernment, time and chance.

But the good news is that if you pass the fear test, you already have a stronger chance of making it through, since that’s where most people fall off.

There comes a point in your life where you have to decide what you’ll be.

A Mirror.

Or a Wall.

Most people think mirrors are useful because they reflect reality.

But mirrors have a dangerous side.

They don’t have an identity of their own.

They only become whatever stands before them.

And that’s how many people live.

They scroll through LinkedIn, and suddenly, they want to build a startup.

They watch a creator on YouTube and convince themselves content creation is their calling.

A friend launches a podcast.

Another gets into real estate.

Someone else writes a book.

Before long, they’re adding “author” to their list of aspirations.

Not because they heard a call.

Because they saw a reflection.

If you are a mirror, you'll spend your life seeing others in yourself.

They write, so maybe you should write.

They sing, so perhaps music is your gift too.

They invest, so now you’re learning trading.

They move abroad, and suddenly you’re researching visas.

Nothing wrong with any of these things.

The problem is not what they’re doing.

The problem is that your direction changes depending on who you’re looking at.

You become a collection of borrowed ambitions.

You never stay anywhere long enough to know whether it was truly yours.

Every new person becomes a new possibility.

Every trend becomes a new purpose.

Every success story becomes another identity to try on.

And because mirrors only reflect, they never produce.

You keep moving.

You keep changing.

You keep restarting.

But you never become.

Discovery is quieter than imitation.

It doesn’t happen because someone else found their lane.

It happens because you stood still long enough to hear your own voice.

That’s the part many people skip.

Standing still feels unproductive these days in a culture obsessed with movement.

But as we all know, movement doesn’t translate to progress.

Sometimes it’s just a pure distraction at high speed.

There is a difference between exploration and instability.

Exploration has an end.

Instability becomes a lifestyle.

Here’s something I’ve noticed.

People who eventually become known for something usually spend years looking boring.

While everyone else was chasing the next exciting thing, they kept showing up for the same work.

The same craft.

The same questions.

The same audience.

It didn’t look glamorous.

It looked repetitive….and boring.

Until one day, people started calling them an expert.

Mastery often looks like monotony before it looks like excellence.

That’s why I think the goal isn’t to become a mirror.

It’s to become a WALL.

A wall doesn’t change because someone walks past it.

It doesn’t become blue because a blue car parks beside it.

It doesn’t lean because another wall is leaning.

It stands.

Strong.

Stable.

Consistent.

People don’t measure buildings by how reflective they are.

They measure them by how much weight they can carry.

Can people trust you to still be here next year?

Can your ideas survive trends?

Can your convictions outlive comparison?

Can your work remain consistent even when nobody is applauding?

That’s the work of becoming a wall.

There’s another reason this matters.

The world doesn’t remember people who kept changing identities.

It remembers people who became reference points.

Standards.

When people think of design, certain names come to mind.

Leadership.

Writing.

Research.

Business.

Education.

Not because those people tried everything.

Because they stayed with something.

Long enough. Deep enough. Faithfully enough.

You cannot become a standard if you cannot stay standing.

You need to stand-hard!

This doesn’t mean you should never pivot.

Growth sometimes demands change.

Wisdom sometimes redirects us.

But there’s a difference between changing because you’ve grown and changing because someone else is glowing.

One is conviction.

The other is comparison.

Comparison is an exhausting compass.

It will keep pointing you toward other people’s destinations.

So maybe the question isn’t,

“What is everyone else becoming?”

Maybe it’s,

“Who am I when nobody is reflecting possibilities back at me?”

Who are you when the timelines go quiet?

When there are no announcements to envy?

When there are no viral posts to imitate?

When nobody is showing you what success should look like?

That’s where discovery begins.

Not in the noise.

In the silence.

If you don’t stop and stand, you cannot become a standard.

And standards are never built by people who spent their lives borrowing reflections.

They are built by people who found solid ground, planted themselves, and refused to be moved by every passing mirror.

So decide.

Will you spend your life reflecting whoever stands in front of you?

Or will you become something others can build against?

A mirror changes with every face.

A wall remains.

And in a world full of reflections, perhaps what we need most are people who have finally become themselves.

I need you to hear that before anything else, because everything you’ve been taught tells you the opposite.

You’ve been taught to be “present.” To be “mindful.” To live in the now.

And I’m not against stillness — but I am against a stillness that keeps you stuck in a field, feeding pigs, when there is a father on a rooftop, scanning the horizon, waiting for a shape that looks like you.

Go back home!

But here’s where I need you to slow down, because what I’m about to say will not make sense the way you’re used to things making sense.

You think home is the past. You think home is where you came from — a childhood, a memory, a place you left.

That’s the ordinary way to think about it. I’m not here to give you the ordinary way.

Home is your future.

Read that again.

The Boy Who Ran From His Own Address

You know the story.

A son takes his inheritance early, leaves his father’s house, and goes to a far country to spend it on wild living. It runs out. A famine comes. He ends up in a field, feeding pigs, so hungry he’s eyeing the pods the pigs are eating.

That’s the part everyone remembers. The mess. The hunger and what my mentor calls Hell.

But that’s not the part that saves him.

What saves him is a single moment where something shifts in his mind — not a memory of the past, but a recognition of a future that was still real, still waiting, still his.

Scripture says “he came to himself.” Not “he remembered himself.” He came to himself — like waking from a fog into a truth that had been standing there the whole time, patient, unmoved by his forgetting it.

And in that moment, he doesn’t say “I used to have a home.”

He says: “I will arise and go to my father.”

Future tense. Not nostalgia. Not memory.

Motion toward something he had left behind.

That’s the whole secret. That’s the thing I need you to take from this piece and never put down again.

Most People Are Wandering Souls Who Think They’re Just “Figuring It Out”

Somehow, most people are not lost because they don’t know where they’re going.

They’re lost because they’ve been told the destination is uncertain — a maybe, a someday, a “if I’m lucky.”

So they wander. They call it “finding themselves.” They call it “the journey.”

Their aimlessness is disguised as noble.

But the prodigal son wasn’t ennobled by his wandering. His wandering nearly killed him.

What saved him wasn’t more wandering — it was certainty.

It was knowing, with total conviction, that a house existed, a father existed, a place at a table existed, and it was his to return to.

You have been treating your future like a maybe.

I’m telling you it’s not a maybe.

It’s an address.

It’s a father on a roof.

It’s a fatted calf already breathing in a field, not knowing yet that it’s going to be the centrepiece of your homecoming feast.

Somewhere, right now, in a way you cannot yet see, the version of your life you keep yearning for — the fulfilment, the freedom, the peace, the success — already exists.

Not as a fantasy, but a concrete inheritance with your name on it.

Why You’re Not Weird for Wanting What You Want

You know that thing you want?

That dream you’ve quietly reduced to “nice to have”?

That vision you talk yourself out of because it feels too far, too big, too unlikely for someone like you?

I need you to stop calling it a dream.

Call it a memory of the future.

Here is the part that will change how you see your own longing forever: you don’t yearn for things you have no claim to.

Desire, real desire — the kind that won’t leave you alone, that visits you at 2am, that makes ordinary life feel like a pair of shoes one size too small — that kind of desire is not random.

It is not a glitch.

It is a summons.

It is the pull of a home recognising its own child from a distance.

The prodigal son didn’t invent the idea of his father’s house in a moment of desperation.

He didn’t hallucinate a home to cope with his hunger.

The house was real before he remembered it. His hunger didn’t create the home — it revealed that he already belonged to one.

Your yearning works the same way.

You are not weird for wanting what you want. You’re not “too ambitious” or “unrealistic” or “chasing something above your station.”

You are a son or daughter recognising your inheritance.

What you crave is not a fantasy about a life you’ve never touched.

Your dreams are not fantasies; they are memories of what you already own.

It’s a report from a future that has already happened, somewhere behind you, calling backwards through time in the only language it has — desire.

The Danger of Staying in the Field

Here’s the suspense of the story, the part that should unsettle you: the son could have stayed in the field.

He could have called his hunger “just how life is.”

He could have told himself that pigs’ pods weren’t so bad.

He could have made peace with the famine, adjusted his expectations, and called it “being realistic.”

Nobody would have blamed him, since everyone around him was hungry too.

This is what most people do.

They don’t reject their future — they just quietly downgrade it into a wish. A someday. A “maybe when things line up.”

They keep living in a present that was never meant to be permanent, mistaking survival for destiny.

But the son did something dangerous.

He got specific. He got resolved.

He said “I will arise and go” — not “I hope things get better,” not “maybe I’ll head back eventually.”

Arise.

Go.

Present-tense verbs pointed at a future-tense certainty.

That specificity is what separates the people who get home from the people who die in the field, still hungry, still telling themselves it’s fine.

What Changes When You Know It’s Your Birthright

Watch what happens to the son’s posture the moment he stops seeing his father’s house as a lost past and starts seeing it as a waiting future.

He stops negotiating with his hunger and starts moving his feet.

That’s what legitimacy does.

When you believe something is owed to you — not because you’re entitled, but because it’s your inheritance, your birthright, a home that has been holding your name since before you left — you stop asking permission from your circumstances.

You stop waiting for evidence that success is “for people like you.”

You stop treating fulfilment as a lottery you might win if you’re lucky enough.

You start walking like someone who already knows the address.

This is the mindset shift I’m asking you to make.

Not “I hope my future works out.” Not “maybe someday I’ll get there.”

But this was mine before I left. I only forgot the way back.

The road is old, but my feet still remember it, even if my mind doesn’t yet.

Home Is Calling

So here’s where I leave you, because this is the part where the suspense has to resolve into a decision, not information.

You’ve spent this piece reading about a boy in a field, but this was never really about him.

It was about the thing you keep calling a dream — the version of your life that feels too good, too far, too “not yet.”

I need you to stop reducing it.

I need you to stop treating your future like it’s uncertain, like it’s a coin flip, like it might not want you back.

It does want you back. It has been wanting you back the whole time. Every ounce of longing you’ve ever felt for a better life, a truer life, a fuller life — that wasn’t your imagination running wild.

That was your home, calling across the distance, using the only word, voice and language it has: your own desire.

You already lived that life once.

You just forgot.

And everything you’re yearning for now is not a stretch — it’s a memory trying to become real again.

So stop wandering the field.

Stop treating the pigs’ pods like a meal.

Stop calling your future a maybe.

Arise….and go.

Home has been ready for a while now.

The Father is already on the roof.

He saw you before you saw yourself.

We live in two places at a time — nation and generation.

One is a place, the other is an era.

One is about where you live, the other about when you lived.

A nation can hold many generations.

And a generation can be scattered across many nations.

One is measured by geography, the other is measured by chronology.

One is marked by land borders, the other by age boundaries.

Jesus lived mostly in Israel, with a brief stay in Egypt.

But His legacy has stretched far beyond borders, and His impact has spanned countless generations.

We are called to be salt and light.

Salt heals the land.

Light shows the path for those coming after.

Sometimes you’ll have to leave your nation to impact your generation; at other times, you don’t have to.

You can live in your time and still shape the next.

God will send you to a land, but He will also send you to a people.

Therefore, your nation is calling, and so is your generation.

Many begin their journey on the sands of the earth, but their footprints are stamped in the sands of time.

So, it is good to travel the world and touch many places — here and there.

But it is also good to travel through time and touch many lives — now, then, and later.

So live in both worlds with purpose.

Be the salt that heals your land.

Be the light that shows the way.

Build your nation and ensure you serve a generation.

And leave a legacy in space that time cannot erase.

Hugging a book doesn’t put its content in your head (or heart).

The fact that we now have a machine that can spill knowledge at incredible speed doesn’t mean more wisdom.

It just means faster access.

But wisdom is never outsourced, not even to a machine.

To benefit from this AI revolution, you still have to mentally engage.

Yes, you can use AI to spool out endless content, and some people will be impressed at how much you “know.”

But there’s one thing you cannot fool: Problems.

Problems expose you.

They highlight your weakness, your neglect, your ignorance.

They embarrass you when you least expect them.

And when they multiply against you, all the things you claimed to know will be tested.

If you are fit, you’ll walk away stronger.

If you are weak, it’ll crush you.

Most people can’t survive that test.

Problems are not “living things” per se

They are not embodied or disembodied (what some might call spirits or demons).

They are simply the natural consequences of the will-directed actions and inactions of all of us combined — every other human we share this world-space with.

They are created by human collaborations, which lead to causes and then the effects.

Those effects are what we call problems.

It’s just like when a man “meets” a woman and then a baby is born.

When we all interact and intermingle in this world, the natural byproduct of those interactions is PROBLEMS.

Problems won’t go away as long as we're all still here.

Bottom line: Problems will test you — Sooner or later.

The tide of the market will rise.

That reality can either work for you or against you.

But either way, it will test you. And in that moment, it’ll be good you'd better know — not just appear to know.

Daniel summarised it well when he said: Those who know their God shall be strong and do exploits when the occasion demands it (Paraphrased).

My charge to you?

So please — know.

And let it be now, before it’s too late.

AI is instantaneous.

It does not need rest, coffee, or holidays. It learns at scale and improves overnight.

Your human speed? Gone.

So where does that leave us?

What is left to hold on to when machines are both smarter and faster?

The answer will amaze you.

Being deeply human.

This is the one area AI struggles to touch.

Yes, AI can emulate and simulate, but it cannot live.

The true essence of being human is in everything we try to achieve using technology and AI.

Humanity is in the vulnerability of being, the context in which we live, succumbing to the intuition that rises within, and the complexity of our emotions.

Our true edge is in how we choose to comfortably live with uncertainties.

It is in how we process meaning from pain.

It’s how we love and forgive and love when it makes no rational sense.

Scientists have agreed that humans are not rational; the evidence of our daily lives doesn’t support any thread of rationality.

Machines can replicate empathy scripts, but…

…they do not feel empathy.

They can optimise communication and collaboration, but they can never know what it means to belong.

Ironically, as AI grows and revolutionises, many humans may lose sight of this.

The temptation will be to compete where AI already dominates—facts, speed, 10X output.

And in doing so, we risk surrendering the very thing that made us human in the first place.

Take it from me, AI will not take over the world.

AI can never outsmart us.

The tragedy is that we may stop choosing to be human.

Humans are deeply emotional…and deeply spiritual.

I spoke at an event over the weekend, and the summary of my position was:

To excel in the age of AI, stop trying to out-think or out-run it.

Instead, lean into what no machine can take from you—your humanity.

Let AI and machines do what they do best, while you do what humans do best.

True worship of God, the creator.

Moral courage to confront and overcome evil in self and the world.

Deep human-to-human connection and sincere love for neighbours.

Suck from the true fountain of creativity within the human soul and spirit, not the creativity that comes from data.

Be comfortable with the uncertainties shaped by prophecies, not with the illusions that are driven by predictions.

Yes, there will be many things AI can do.

But earth was made for man, not machines.

Therefore, the best and last competitive edge you can have is to be—unapologetically—human.

That’s the ultimate desire of the Father.

Everyone will have their own journey.

No two people walk the same road, even if it seems like they’re heading in the same direction.

We each come with a unique mix of gifts, flaws, experiences, and perspectives — all wired differently, just as no two individuals share the exact same set of genes.

Genetically, every human is unique.

No two individuals share the exact same genome.

Siblings — who share about 50% of their DNA — have distinct genetic makeups due to the random assortment of genes from their parents during reproduction.

Even identical twins that come from a fertilised egg that splits in two do not have a 100% match in gene collections.

The differences begin to emerge in the mutations during cell division, the epigenetic changes and environmental influences in the womb and after birth.

Uniqueness is encoded into us from the moment we show up.

Our scripts are unscripted.

The way we express, the way we experience, the things we feel, and what we encounter along the road — they’re all custom-fit.

Your journey is custom-made for you.

And in that same breath, no two stories can be alike.

There are no two versions of what we call “success” or “failure.”

What then is the use of biographies?

I am not saying there’s no use in studying those who’ve come before.

I have not said you shouldn’t learn from their wins or their woes.

But this is what I have realised: the lessons are far more nuanced than we’ve been taught.

What the so-called successful leave behind are not instructions — they are Clues

Clues are not GPS coordinates.

Clues are not answers.

Clues have to be interpreted.

Clues have to be processed.

Clues have to be filtered through the lens of who we are and where we have been.

What makes sense for one person at one point in time, under one specific sun, may not make sense for another.

Yet clues have value — they tell us someone came this way.

That we are not the first to wonder and wander this path.

That we are not lost in uncharted madness, walking as though we have lost our minds.

But clues alone can’t walk the road for us.

So, what do we need to make sense of clues?

A compass. A strong moral compass.

A compass that aligns with eternal principles of justice, mercy and humility.

A weigh that measures every action to determine its worth and exactness.

A sense of true north that is installed deep in our hearts.

Because this journey requires direction, not just motion.

The world tempts us with maps.

Maps are paths traced by others.

Paths that have been shaped by their own experiences and uniqueness.

Path drawn by their own prejudices and innuendoes.

These maps can only show you geography. They don’t and cannot reveal destiny.

Geography shows where others have been.

Destiny shows where you must go.

Yes, men have gone ahead. But you must still use your own head.

You and I must still forge our path.

Funny enough, others coming after us will do the same.

That’s the rhythm of this whole thing — each of us walking through mystery, leaving behind hints.

That’s all we get: the whispers of those who came before, and the faint prints of our own feet on the ground.

The clues are proof.

Proof that someone walked this terrain.

Proof that the wilderness is not empty.

Proof that we’re not crazy — that maybe we may be on to something. But that’s it. The rest is up to us.

The journey is ours.

The path — ours.
The adventure — deeply, wildly, and uniquely ours.

Following the clues, with a compass in our hearts, will lead us to discover “virgin islands” — that is, lands no one has touched; places never seen; ideas never spoken.

We are pioneers — Every single one of us.

Let’s think, live and die like one.

So that when our time is done, and our fires burn out, we would have left new clues for those yet to come, letting them know that they also are not lost.

Man was made to live forever. But

Man sinned.

And then it was said his days would be 120 years.

The law of entropy took over — slowly, steadily — and death became part of the equation.

Ageing crept in, and now the brilliance of every life ends in a grave — dust to dust, ashes to ashes.

Yet we still try to make things that last forever.

Not just people anymore — now it’s businesses.

I call them synthetic institutions. We pour our lives into them, hoping they outlive us.

But they don’t.

Some institutions, like the family, have survived the ages.

Guess what? Man didn’t originate or create it.

Marriage, kinship, community — these are ancient, organic. They hold entire civilisations together.

They’ve not been perfect, as many generations and civilisations have tried to corrupt, amend, redefine it.

But they have endured; they still remain the foundation of society.

Businesses? Companies? Organisations? They’re not the same.

They’re synthetic.

Useful, yes. Powerful, absolutely.

They produce things we need. They make our lives easier, better, richer in many ways.

But just like the men who make them, they cannot live forever.

History is filled with companies that once ruled industries.

These include household names, the kings of their domains.

But where are they now?

Some are gone. Others are reduced to shadows. Their buildings stand as museums. Their names, artefacts.

Why? Because man is limited.

Man is temporary.

Man is a being marked by time. And a limited being cannot create something that lasts into forever.

When the man dies, what he built starts to die too.

Maybe not immediately. Like a branch cut from a tree, it might stay green for a while. But give it time — it dries up.

We can enjoy the green while it lasts. We should. But let’s not pretend it will stay that way forever.

New men will rise. They’ll build new things.

New companies will shine.

But we must understand: when the builders are gone, their buildings will eventually crumble too — unless someone else carries it forward. Even then, there's a limit.

There has not been any truly successful succession.

Succession is always limited by the mortality of vision

Even the best successions in business, e.g Apple after Steve Jobs, or Disney after Walthave never fully captured the original spirit.

What I have seen is that the next generation may preserve the brand, try to continue the momentum, maybe even scale it.

But the soul changes.

The essence of the founder is irreplaceable.

Succession may preserve a structure, but not the source.

What they live behind becomes a copy, not a continuation.

But there is one exception.

One institution — the greatest of all — that began over 2,000 years ago and is still growing.

I believe this institution is still here because its founder is still alive.

Some might like to think it’s metaphorical.

But I mean it literally — He lives.

I’m talking about the Church.

It’s had everything thrown at it — Persecution, corruption, division, scandal and war.

Still, it stands.

It’s still growing, advancing and moving forward.

And from where I’m sitting, it’s showing no signs of slowing down.

So here’s my Charge:

Work while it is day. The night comes when no man can work.

Build what you can, while you can.

Build it for that kingdom.

Build it on righteousness.

Because only what’s rooted in eternity can last forever.

Meeting the requirement is not excellence.

The requirement is adequacy.

It is not your ceiling—it is your floor.

You were made for more than requirements.

The requirement is what they ask

The requirement is what the occasion demands.

But your potential is what Heaven sees and measures.

You can meet the requirement and still fall short of your calling.

You can check every box and still miss the eternal mark.

If you meet the requirement, they may applaud you.

They may pay you, promote you, praise you, and hold you up as the standard.

But Heaven does not move at the sound of applause.

Eternal reward does not answer to the requirements.

I have realised that the requirements are what keep systems running.

The setters of the requirement know what it takes to sustain their operations.

When the requirements are met, they are fine.

But your potential produces Kingdom come— it activates Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

The requirement is what satisfies Caesar.

But fulfilment—true, deep, eternal fulfilment—a satisfaction that only comes from God.

Jesus declared boldly when he said, “Give to Caesar what belongs to Caesar”

But he did not stop there.

He concluded by saying, “Give to God what belongs to God”

And what belongs to God is not your bare minimum— it goes beyond requirements.

There will be Ceasars—bosses, deadlines, rules, laws, expectations, requirements

But there will also be what God demands—purpose, calling, destiny, reward

Caesar measures your output.

God measures your obedience.

Caesar rewards completion.

God rewards surrender.

My Final Charge is:

So, meet the requirement: it’s important and relevant that you do.

But don’t stop there;

Go further. Go higher. Go deeper

Because in the end, Caesar will be gone, but God will remain.

And He will ask not if you met the requirements, but if you fulfilled His assignment for you.

I was working as usual, and a thought hit me.

(These thoughts usually stop me from what I’m doing, and I am often compelled to document and process them.)

What is the difference between living from a Transcript and from a Manuscript?

As I pondered, I realised that one is a record and the other can break new records.

(Let that sink in.)

After you’ve graduated from the university, you are entitled to your official transcript.

The transcript is a record of your academic performance across the semesters during your studies.

It records your great, good, and sometimes bad grades.

It shows where you needed improvements, but you can now do nothing about it.

Beyond school, everyone has their Life Transcripts.

Transcripts record what happened in the past.

A transcript is finished, it is done, it cannot be improved upon.

On the other hand, a manuscript is fresh and open.

Manuscripts afford you plenty of opportunities to rewrite your history by writing and acting out what will and can happen in your future.

The more I pondered it, the more it dawned on me that this is a choice we face daily — to relieve the past or create the future.

We all have transcripts from our last adventures.

Yet, for some, it may contain failed voyages.

For others, they may have recorded some impressive successes.

Our transcripts tell the story of the expectations cut short and those we reached.

They show the goals that were achieved and the ones unachieved.

They contain the receipts of the quests that succeeded and the ones that didn’t.

They reveal the relationships that flourished and ones that left us with a broken heart.

Looking at your transcript, you’ll see all the times you almost made it but didn't quite get there and times when you felt on top of the world.

The transcript becomes a record of who we were — BUT it should not be a prediction of who we can become.

The problem is we spend way too much time reading our transcripts like they're some type of life manual; the document that determines what we can and cannot do.

We find ourselves flipping through those pages of success or disappointment and arrive at the conclusion that all we're capable of.

We look at our track records and decide that's our ceiling.

But in all honesty, Transcripts are just documentation, not prophecy.

Jesus’s Transcript read — Carpenter. Commoner. Son of Joseph and Mary.

One day, He picked up His manuscript and read his prophecy:

And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up. And as was his custom, he went to the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and he stood up to read.

And the scroll of the prophet Isaiah was given to him. He unrolled the scroll and found the place where it was written,

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me,
because he has anointed me
to proclaim good news to the poor.
He has sent me to proclaim liberty to the captives
and recovering of sight to the blind,
to set at liberty those who are oppressed,
to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.”

And he rolled up the scroll and gave it back to the attendant and sat down. And the eyes of all in the synagogue were fixed on him.

And he began to say to them, “Today this Scripture has been fulfilled in your hearing.”

And all spoke well of him and marvelled at the gracious words that were coming from his mouth. And they said, “Is not this Joseph’s son?”1

In that instance, Jesus defined his destiny.

Transcripts are data, not a destination.

Thank God for the successes they contain, but they are still the record of what happened when you had less experience, less wisdom, and less understanding of what you were truly capable of.

Wake up and tell yourself: “My future is waiting to be read; therefore, it is still in writing as it keeps unfolding.”

Right now, this very moment, your manuscript is open.

Look closely at it; the pages are still blank.

Interestingly, the pen is in your hand, and you get to decide what goes on that page.

You are at liberty to dream above your previous success.

Graduating with a first-class GPA is good, but you can become the biggest employer of labour in your country.

You can find the cure to the deadlines of diseases.

You can invent a new mobile communication technology with the least medical and social side effects.

You are at liberty to look beyond your past successes, failures, celebrations, disappointments and supermoments and previous limitations — that past shouldn’t hold you hostage.

As you write your manuscript, aim for each new chapter to be the kind that inspires the next generation yet unknown.

My Final Charge:

Please note that your manuscript doesn't have to ignore your transcript.

The best manuscripts take elements from the past and transform them into something powerful.

So stop crying over finished transcripts and start living your open-ended manuscripts.

The next chapter is waiting, the page is blank, and the pen is in your hand.

There’s a powerful connection between saving a life and saving a soul.

When this thought first struck me, I stopped in my tracks.

I was congratulating a newly graduated medical doctor, and excited at the number of lives she would save.

Then it hit me: What’s the relationship between saving a life and saving a soul?

This is one of those connections we don’t always recognise in our success-crazed and fast-paced world.

But it’s one worth pausing to reflect on.

I did. I stopped everything I was doing to pound and grind this thought.

This letter is the product of that reflection.

Let’s dive in.

Here is what Saving a Life entails:

When you save a life, you intervene in the natural order of things.

It involves pulling someone back from the brink of death.

It’s always heroic, noble, and deeply impactful.

You preserve their opportunity to live, to love, to grow, and to hope again.

That’s where the whole gospel of value-addition points to.

This is what we usually mean when say say make an impact with your life.

But what happens after that life is saved?

One thing I have learned is that saving a life only spares someone from death once.

(Okay, a couple of times, depending on how many crises they have in their lives).

But the point is that it’s usually a temporary rescue.

However, as important as it is, it doesn’t address the bigger picture of human existence.

Every life saved still faces the certainty of mortality one day. Guaranteed.

Saving a Soul, however, touches eternity.

A soul saved is a person revived and reconnected to God, their Creator.

They are no longer lost, no longer buried under the weight and guilt of sin or candidates for eternal separation from God.

It’s much more than giving someone more time.

We are giving them a new destiny. A sure destination.

It is we introducing them to grace, truth, and the promise of eternal life.

Both acts matter — In fact, they are deeply intertwined.

One is not superior to the other. They are complementary.

Saving a life often creates the opportunity for a soul to be saved.

The keyword here is opportunity.

It gives a person more time to encounter truth, to be changed by it, and to live out their God-given purpose beyond the four poles of this world.

If they are alive long enough, they will at some point make the reconnection and journey back home.

My Final Charge:

Our goal should never stop at just helping people survive — succeed, be healthy, be financially free, be happily married, raise strong children and 1000 other life-things.

We must also care deeply about where they are going after they have lived.

So as we serve, add value, lead, give, and act to protect and uplift others — let’s do it with eternity in mind.

It is good to relieve people from poverty, hunger, diseases and pain.

But let’s not only rescue people from death, but let’s point and guide them toward a life that never ends.

Because one is mercy for today.

The other is mercy forever.

Investing won't make you as much money as the production of goods or services.

When I first realised this, it blew my mind.

Regular investments yield 5-15% max, depending on the prevailing interest rates, the investment vehicle and domain.

But you can reap up to 90% Return on Investment when you run a business or deliver a service.

This letter is not really about Money or Investment.

It’s about the ROI from your time and attention.

If you passively consume inspirational content on LinkedIn, TikTok, or YouTube, you’ll only be marginally successful — just like investing.

On the other hand, the real people cashing out of socials are those who invest 70-90% of their time producing, and only 10-30% consuming inspiration.

(That is, if the consumption itself is not a waste.)

Your best chance at lasting success and high ROI for your time and attention is production.

Consume only when you are tired, when you need to relax, when you are stuck, and you probably want to learn a thing or 2 to untangle your path.

Other than that, if you have a clear plan and you are high on physical energy and motivation, keep producing.

Investment can only take you so far; production and holding assets are where the real worth is.

The Production Mindset

I have realised the following:

Reading about entrepreneurship won't make you an entrepreneur the same way watching cooking videos won't make you a chef.

The people making a ton of money from online courses are not the ones buying them.

They are the ones creating and selling them.

The gap between consumer and producer is the gap between dreaming and doing.

Every hour you spend scrolling through "success tips" is an hour you could have spent building something real.

(Every minute you spend reading this is one minute you could have been investing in production.)

The irony is stark — most people consume content about productivity while being unproductive in that very instant.

I know people who spend time researching the perfect morning routine.

Stop it.

Rather, start waking up early to work on your project.

Stop watching videos about time management and start managing your actual time.

Endless Consumption is a Trap

This has happened to me several times.

Most of us fall into consumption because it feels like progress.

Reading business books feels productive.

Watching tutorials feels like learning.

Following influencers feels like networking.

But feeling productive and being productive are two different things entirely.

Consumption is comfortable.

It doesn't require much from you (at the beginning).

But when you consider the opportunity cost of what you have lost, the regret weighs a ton.

Production at first demands all of these things and more, but in the end, pays you rich dividends.

The market doesn't care how many podcasts you've listened to about scaling businesses.

It only cares about what you've actually built, delivered, hosted, or sold.

When Consumption Actually Helps

In my experience, there are exactly three times when consuming makes sense:

• When you're genuinely stuck and need specific knowledge to move forward,

• When you're physically or mentally exhausted and need to recharge

• When you're learning a completely new skill that requires foundational understanding.

Everything else is procrastination dressed up as education.

If you already know what to do but you're still consuming content about how to do it, you're avoiding the work.

The work is scary. The work is uncertain. The work might fail.

But the work is also the only thing that pays.

The 80/20 Rule Applied

If you must consume, make it count.

Spend 80% of your time producing and 20% consuming — and make that 20% laser-focused on solving specific problems you are actually facing.

Don't consume generally.

Be very specific in your consumption.

Don't watch "How to Be Successful".

Rather, watch "how to optimise conversion rates for Substack newsletters" when you're actually building a newsletter whose subscription needs optimisation.

Context makes consumption valuable.

Without context, it's just entertainment masquerading as self-improvement.

The people winning don’t have the most knowledge.

They are the people who consistently apply knowledge to create something more valuable.

Finally, I charge you:

It’s good to invest (you’ll get some returns from there).

But to become the real tycoon or baron, start producing.

Everything else is just noise.

Ever tried lifting weights in a room with no oxygen?

Doesn’t matter how strong you are — without air, you’re powerless.

Inspiration is the oxygen of the soul. Without it, your grind becomes hollow. Futile. Exhausting.

The book of Job says, “There is a spirit in man, and the breath of the Almighty makes him intelligent.”

That breath is inspiration.

It’s not just motivation. It’s divine fuel. It’s clarity.

It’s fresh life blown into a tired mind, into a weary heart and into a stalled dream.

When the path gets foggy and your efforts feel like they’re circling the drain, pause.

Don’t double down on brute force. Don’t just do more.

Breathe. Step back. Get re-inspired.

One breath of insight can do more than ten steps of hustle.

Inspiration births perspective. And perspective births strategy. Suddenly, what felt heavy becomes possible. What looked blocked becomes clear.

So, when you’re stuck — don’t panic. Don’t drown in effort.

Inhale. Listen. Pray. Watch. Seek.

Breathe in something divine.

Something from above. Something bigger than you.

Then move. Not with strain, but with strength.

Your next breakthrough won’t come from pushing harder.

It’ll come from breathing deeper, because your next breakthrough is just one breath away.

Everyone who is truly happy is succeeding in these three areas.

When one of them is out of balance, regret, shame, and pain set in.

These three areas were the priority that John wished for the church of his days.

In his third epistle, he declared: "Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth."

These three areas include:

• Material and financial prosperity

• Physical and Mental health and wholeness

• Strong social connections and Relationship bliss

Most people are only actively preparing for one of these areas at a time.

The one we pay the most attention to is the first.

You go to school to acquire skills that will make you economically viable.

Somehow, we believe that if we get it right with that, we are okay.

We try to conquer the wealth goal and somehow leave the health and "fealth" to randomness.

There have been several reports of persons who, at the peak of their power and fame, had one regret: they didn't pay enough attention to their health and their families.

Their homes have been destroyed — no spouse, estranged children.

The tombstones of the powerful and wealthy are filled with epitaphs of broken relationships and neglected well-being. People who built empires but lost their kingdoms at home.

Jesus gave us a framework for dealing with such things — don't do this one and leave the other undone. "These ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone."

You can focus on the three and grow in them simultaneously.

Education should prepare us for life, not just for a career or work.

One key goal of literacy is to enable us to invest in the requisite literature and knowledge so as to build our desired life.

The Mathematics of Misery

• Wealth + Health - Fealth = Regrets and frustration

• Wealth + Fealth - Health = Pain and broken dreams

• Health + Fealth - Wealth = Unfulfilled potential and tons of suffering

These 3 must all work together.

Like a three-legged stool, remove one leg and the whole structure becomes unstable.

Like a triangle, weaken one side and the entire shape loses its strength.

The wealthy man or woman lying on their deathbed, surrounded by expensive medical equipment but no family members, understands this truth too late.

The healthy couple with deep love for each other, but struggling to pay rent every month, knows this reality intimately.

The financially stable individual with a beautiful family but battling chronic illness lives this equation daily.

You cannot afford to excel in two and fail in one. The failure will contaminate the success of the other two.

The Integration Imperative

Your daily life should touch all three.

Your goals should reflect all three.

Your prayers should cover all three.

Your plans should include all three.

When you wake up, ask yourself: "What am I doing today to build my wealth, strengthen my health, and deepen my relationships?"

When you plan your year, ensure you have specific, measurable goals in all three areas.

When you invest your time, money, and energy, distribute them across these three fundamental pillars of life.

The man who says "I'll focus on making money first, then I'll take care of my health and relationships later" is a man planning his own disappointment.

The woman who says "Let me just get this business off the ground, then I'll spend time with my family" is a woman scheduling her own regrets.

Which one have you been overly concerned about?

Take an honest inventory.

Where have you been putting 80% of your attention while the other two areas suffer from benign neglect?

Your honesty might be the mirror someone else needs to see their own imbalance.

According to FIFA, there are over 5 billion football fans worldwide.

Yes, 5 billion!

Most people will say they enjoy football because of:

Thrilling Competition — that sense of excitement and anticipation.

Emotional Connection — supporting a team becomes a part of a person's identity.

Entertainment Value of Skill and Athleticism — showcases incredible athletic abilities, skilful techniques, and strategic gameplay.

But guess what?

But the Real reason is: The Rules

All of the above are only made possible because of the rules.

Imagine a football game without any rules.

Imagine any sports without any rules.

The rules are what make any football match worth watching.

The rules give direction and purpose to the game.

The rules help the players on the field play and treat other players well.

The rules guide the managers and coaches to develop winning strategies.

The rules help the fans follow the match and regulate the thrills of the game.

The rules help the club owners, promoters and sponsors make money.

The rules make it possible for players to earn dangerous salaries.

Without knowing it, the rules are the reason why we enjoy any game or sport.

The rules determine when the game ends.

The rules also determine who won.

Like football, life also has its rules.

A ruleless life is orderless, chaotic, and failure-prone.

Anything orderless is boring, unimportant, and not worthy of attention.

Anything failure-prone is not worthy of anybody's investment.

Dearie, are there specific rules guiding your life?

If not, here is my advice:

1. Make a list of core areas of your life.

Mine is as follows:

• Spiritual and Stewardship

• Marriage, Home and Family

• Health and Physical Wholeness

• Career and Occupational Pursuit

• Material and Financial Prosperity

• Mental and Educational Development

• Socio-cultural and Community Involvement

2. For each area, make a list of rules that guide your operations.

3. Refine the rules as you go along, ensuring the rules help you achieve your goals.

3. You'll mention your favourite sport in the comments

Doing it 10 times in a row is intensity.

Doing it 10 days in a row is consistency.

Imagine:

Eating 3 times your regular meal size so you can be full for the next 3 days.

Spend 4 hours bathing because you want to remain clean for the next 4 days.

Sleeping for 5days at a stretch because you want to remain awake for the next 5 days.

Sigh 😲

Those actions are beneficial only when practiced over a period.

Being essential activities you'll do anyways—eating, bathing and sleeping— you can chain other productive activities to them.

If you can do it 10 times in a stretch, you can do it for 10 days, 10 weeks, 10 months or 10 years.

Your dreams are waiting to be fulfilled.

Don't disappoint your future.

Add consistency to your intensity.

Average is deceptive.

It is a seemingly comfortable place where mediocrity thrives.

It is the space where people congratulate themselves for being slightly better than the worst, rather than pushing themselves to be the absolute best.

Breaking it down: Average is the MEAN of all performances.

It means we mixed all the performances into a melting pot, taking into account both the exceptional and the terrible.

So, when the average score is 4, and someone scores 6, they might feel good about being above the benchmark. But should they?

The highest possible score might be 9.5, which means that the person is still significantly below what is truly possible.

There is nothing to celebrate about mediocrity when greatness is still on the table.

The Illusion of Being “Above Average”

Think about a classroom where the average math score on a test is 55%.

If a student scores 65%, they are above average—but does that mean they have mastered the material? Not even close.

There is still 35% of the content they have not understood.

Yet, many walk away satisfied because they have surpassed the lowest bar rather than reaching for the highest.

This happens everywhere: in workplaces, in athletics, in relationships, in personal growth.

We see people content with being slightly better than the status quo instead of striving for the best they are capable of.

Our corporate workplaces are filled with professionals who do just enough to meet their KPIs but never push themselves to innovate or lead.

Athletes train just enough to be slightly better than their peers but never push to set new records (or break their own record, regularly).

Relationships crumble because partners give just enough effort to avoid breaking up, rather than giving their all to create something extraordinary….something magical.

Your Best is Premium

Your best is not just about winning trophies or setting new records—it’s about extracting every ounce of your potential.

It’s about walking into any challenge and saying, I will give everything I have, rather than I just need to do enough to be above average.

Destroying the Benchmark

Averages serve as benchmarks, but they should never deceive you into thinking you have achieved greatness just by surpassing them.

The real goal should be to shift the entire benchmark upward—to redefine what is possible for yourself and everyone else.

If you are in a room where the highest standard is 9.5, your aim should be to reach 10, or even better, 11, creating a new ceiling for others to aspire to.

Great minds don’t just aim to win; they aim to redefine the playing field.

Imagine if Usain Bolt had been satisfied with just beating the average sprinting time. Would he have shattered world records?

Excellence demands that we stop measuring success by average standards and start measuring it by the limits of our true potential.

Here is my Mindset Shift Advice: Hate Average

Average is the metric by which the mediocre evaluate their performance.

If you want to be exceptional, you have to despise mediocrity. Not in a way that diminishes others, but in a way that refuses to let it define you.

Picture a swimmer in a race.

If they only aim to be better than the slowest person in the pool, they might finish in the middle of the pack—but they will never touch greatness.

The mindset must shift from I just need to beat someone to I need to set a new standard.

In business, in sports, in academics, and in life—this is the mindset that separates the elite from the masses.

Press Toward the Highest Mark

Paul taught us in Philippians 3:13-14:

• At Work — Don’t just meet the job description—excel at it. Innovate, lead, and become indispensable.

• In Relationships — Don’t just maintain friendships and partnerships—be the best friend, spouse, or colleague possible.

• In School— Don’t just pass exams—master the knowledge and seek wisdom beyond what is taught. The wisdom to create new things.

• In your walk with God — Don’t just avoid wrongdoing or fight sin—actively pursue righteousness and the fulfilment of purpose.

The Relentless Pursuit of Excellence

Life is not a contest where being slightly above average is the goal.

Strive for the highest performance score—not just in comparison to others, but in the fullest realisation of your potential.

Aim to tear apart the record books, not just for what exists today, but for what can exist tomorrow.

Be the standard that forces the average to rise.

Please hate average and keep aiming for greatness.

Your best is not just enough—it is everything.

Pause and think about that for a second.

This is not about arrogance — This is about identity.

There’s a kind of desperation that is dangerous. A posture of begging that violates your true essence. Especially when you are called to kingship.

You Were Born for Royalty

Whether or not you realise it, you were not made for servitude, subjugation, or slavery. You were born as royalty.

I didn’t make this up, it's divine reality.

Scripture says: “You are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood…” (1 Peter 2:9). This scripture should mean something to you.

Royalty is your heritage in God.

But what use is a king who doesn't know he's royalty?

He will sit on the floor when he’s meant to rule from a throne.

Listen, Identity defines Posture.

A lion that sees itself as a dog will bark instead of roaring.

A prince who forgets his heritage and bloodline will beg for the crumbs when he should be feeding multitudes.

Begging Is a Posture of Powerlessness

To “beg” in this context doesn’t only mean asking — it means lowering your dignity in pursuit of something inferior:

It means:

• Begging for affection

• Begging for validation

• Begging for recognition

• Begging for opportunities

• Begging to be seen, heard, hired, or loved — it’s just so disappointing!

Mind you, begging is not always vocal; It’s often emotional.

It smells through one’s body language, the unspoken words we don’t say, the boundaries we allow others to break, and the lies we accept just so that we can be liked and accepted.

I often say, when you beg, you appear desperate.

When you're desperate, everybody can smell it.

Desperation is not attractive—it repels.

3/ Desperation Leads to Vulnerability

Desperate people make poor decisions, I mean, really silly decisions.

Desperate people get exploited every time!

Desperate people say "yes" to everything that robs their dignity, when they should say "no".

Desperate people lower their standards to secure short-term comfort.

Desperate people trade their legacy for a brief moment of acceptance or respite.

I want to be clear: Desperation is not the same as hunger.

Hunger drives discipline, but Desperation erodes discernment.

Hunger has direction. But desperation leads to panic.

That’s why you must never approach destiny like a beggar. Approach it like a son, like a king, like someone who knows what they carry.

Kings Make Decrees, Not Pleas

When was the last time you saw a king on his knees, begging his citizens to do what they were already summoned to do?

Don’t bother thinking, it’s never.

Kings issue decrees.

They speak with clarity.

They walk with confidence.

They operate from authority.

They know that what they need is either within them, within their powers or it will be drawn to them by the force of alignment and preparation.

Solomon reminded us that “Where the word of a king is, there is power.” (Ecc 8:4)

That includes your words.

If you speak as a beggar, people will treat you like one.

But if you speak as a king, you create the environment of respect and honour and glory around you.

Jesus Never Begged

He is the highest King there can ever be.

He moved among men, yet never once begged for attention, affection, or affirmation.

He knew who He was.

He called men to follow, but He didn’t chase them.

He declared His mission, He didn’t defend it.

He spoke to storms, demons, diseases — and they responded.

Pilate wanted him to beg for His life.

His response, “I am a King and this was the reason why I was born”.

Yet, He was humble.

He was obedient to death, even the death of the cross.

Death didn’t take Him. No, He did death a favour, and gave to death.

Here’s the paradox I learnt from Him: true kingship walks in humility, not humiliation.

You see, Jesus washed feet, but He never grovelled for approval.

He knelt in prayer, but never crawled in desperation.

Because humility is strength under control, not the absence of strength.

Identity Precedes Inheritance

You can’t enjoy the benefits of royalty if you don’t embrace the mindset of royalty.

A king has rights, yes — but also responsibilities.

Royalty is not a feeling. It’s a standard.

• It calls for Clarity — knowing who you are.

• It demands Conviction — Standing by what you believe.

• It requires Confidence — Moving with assurance even when resources are invisible.

• It exhumes Composure — Remaining calm even under extreme pressure.

Royalty is a constitution in your spirit — an operating system running your mind.

Avoid Environments That Require You to Beg

Sometimes the issue is not that you’re not enough. The issue is that you are in the wrong room, relationships, and conversations.

There are environments that only recognise your value when you beg.

Leave them.

There are people who only pay attention when you act desperate.

Delete them.

There are systems that make you feel like a nobody until you shrink and surrender your dignity.

Exit them.

Don’t invest your greatness in places that profit off your inferiority.

Go where you are respected, not reduced.

Go where you are celebrated, not tolerated!

When You Know Who You Are, You Wait Differently

The hardest part towards manifestation is the waiting season — when you know your worth, but doors aren’t opening.

When you’ve prepared, but recognition hasn’t come.

When you’ve served, but platforms haven’t appeared.

In those moments, the temptation is strong — to beg, to clamour, or to manipulate outcomes.

But kings wait differently.

They prepare themselves.

They reaffirm their convictions.

They keep growing towards becoming who they were created to be.

And they trust that the throne cannot remain empty forever— it’s simply not time yet.

They are assured that their seats have their name on it.

Don’t beg to sit at tables where you were meant to be invited.

Build your own table, and the right people will come sit with you.

Reclaim Your Royal Posture

You are not a beggar.

You are not a slave.

You are not a desperate voice in a crowded room.

You are a King. Born of God. Full of grace.

So, walk tall.

Speak wisely.

Wait with dignity.

Act with conviction.

Because Kings Don’t Beg.

They decree. They decide. They build.

And they are worshipped!

Acting royally long enough, even if your current circumstances don’t seem like it, your experiences and environment will soon begin to reflect it.

Easter is the divine audit.

It is when heaven declares the full cost of sin—paid in full, not by the guilty, but by grace.

Here, we encounter the mindblowing truth that Forgiveness was never free (can’t be), but it was made Affordable for us.

It was not cheap because God chose to subsidise it HIMSELF.

Sin incurred a debt no human could repay.

The Law, strict in its justice, demanded blood—perfection for transgression, purity for rebellion.

But humanity, bankrupt in righteousness, stood condemned. The cost was eternal, and the penalty was too high.

And then, God did the unthinkable at the cross—He bore the cost.

In Jesus, God did not merely write off Sin—HE absorbed it.

God took our place like a loving parent who foots the bill their child cannot comprehend.

The integration of Christ, Cross and Crucifixion was not a divine discount, but a holy transaction. The price was paid in full—by the Son.

And now, this immense cost of Forgiveness and Righteousness is reduced to Faith.

Faith is the currency of the kingdom.

Not because it earns forgiveness, but because it receives it.

We don’t contribute; we consent.

We don’t earn; we believe.

God’s subsidy of grace is not repaid in works, but embraced by trust.

This is the scandal and beauty of Easter:

— the highest cost, covered entirely, and handed to us at no charge—if we will only believe.

Forgiveness is not free.

But for us, there’s no more price to pay — it is finished.
