In 2024, Elon Musk spent more money in NY-17 than in any other Congressional district. Billionaires and special interest groups were able to drag Mike Lawler across the finish line, even while Kamala won.

So when I first jumped into the race, the only thing I knew for sure: I would need a massive team behind me.

And more than a year later, we’ve built that team.

Last quarter more than 90% of our contributions came from grassroots gifts of less than $100. And with that support, we’ve built an operation that has turned this Lean-R district into a tossup.

I’m incredibly proud of that, and I hope you are too.

For 250 years our nation has gone through really dark times, really hard chapters. In these extraordinary moments, ordinary people rose up and chose to live with courage. They knew America and our democracy is worth fighting for.

This chapter in American history is not yet written. Who we become, the values that define us, that is up to us.

We are the cavalry. We are who takes this country back.

After tonight, we kick off our final quarterly FEC deadline month. There are less than 65 days to the Election. The end is nigh.

But we have to take full advantage of every single one of those days. Our ability to flip this district and take back the House is dependent on meeting tonight’s fundraising goal – and every other fundraising goal from here to November. We have zero margin for error.

So before tonight’s end-of-month benchmark, I have to ask:

For a grassroots team like us, it means we need to work smarter and harder.

What we’re doing is working. This forecast is proof.

But we cannot afford to relax for a single moment between now and Election Day.

And that’s going to be our new reality, every day from now until November. He and his MAGA allies have more money than we do – so they are going to try and drown us in early spending.

I’m not a politician. I come from a blue-collar family. After attending West Point, I spent 16 years in the Army, did six tours overseas, and was Director for Counterterrorism at the White House.
