Participants go through multiple elimination rounds, each testing different levels of coding and computer science fundamentals.

🎯 Objective of the Challenge

The Big Code Challenge is designed to evaluate participants on three key abilities:

• Algorithmic thinking
• Coding efficiency and accuracy
• Advanced problem solving

Students solve programming challenges under time constraints and compete based on performance, speed, and correctness of solutions.

To participate in the challenge, students must satisfy the following requirements:

1️⃣ Student Status

Participants must be full time engineering students in India.

Eligible graduation years:
• 2027
• 2028
• 2029

This typically includes 1st year, 2nd year, and pre final year students.

2️⃣ Course / Branch

Students must belong to circuit branches, which include:

• Computer Science Engineering (CSE)
• Information Technology (IT)
• Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE)
• Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE)
• BCA / MCA and related computing programs

3️⃣ University Requirement

Students must be enrolled in a UGC or AICTE recognized university in India.

4️⃣ Age Requirement

Participants must be 18 years or older.

5️⃣ Participation Rule

• Participation is individual only.
• Team entries are not allowed.

6️⃣ Exclusions

The following people cannot participate:

• Current employees or interns of Google
• Contractors of Google or HackerEarth
• Immediate family members of employees

The competition consists of four major stages, gradually narrowing down participants.

Stage: 1️⃣ Registration & Kickoff

Students register through the official page and submit their information including a PDF resume.

Stage: 2️⃣ Qualifying Round

This is the first evaluation round.

🏆 Top 15,000 students advance to the next stage.

Round 1

The top 15,000 students attempt a more challenging algorithmic coding contest.

From here, only 1,500 students advance to Round 2.

Round 2

This is a high difficulty coding round where participants solve complex algorithmic problems.

🎯 Only the top 50 students move to the final stage.

Stage: 4️⃣ Final Hackathon 🤖

The final round is a 48-hour AI themed hackathon.

Participants must:

• Build a working prototype
• Solve a real-world AI based problem
• Submit their project for evaluation

Google engineers evaluate submissions based on:

• Innovation
• Technical implementation
• Practical impact

🏆 Top 15 finalists are invited to present their solution at the Google Office in Bengaluru.

What is Paranox Contest 2.O?

Paranox 2.O is the second edition of TechXNinjas’ innovation challenge. Students form teams, brainstorm innovative ideas, and compete across multiple stages. The best projects advance to the Grand Finale, where teams pitch their prototypes to an expert jury.
This year, the contest comes with bigger rewards, internship opportunities, career growth perks, and mentorship.

Eligibility Criteria

• Open to all undergraduate and postgraduate students in India

• Age: 17–25 years

• Teams of 3–5 members

• Cross-college and cross-specialization teams allowed

• No prior hackathon experience required

Important Dates

• Registrations Open: 20th August 2025

• Registration Deadline: 28th September 2025 (5:00 PM IST)

• Idea Submission: 14th – 30th September 2025

• Grand Finale (Delhi NCR): 25th October 2025

Contest Stages

1. Registration & Orientation (20th Aug – 28th Sep)
   Teams register and attend introductory sessions.

2. Idea Submission (14th Sep – 30 Sep)
   Submit PPT/PDF of your project idea with innovation, feasibility, and problem-solving approach.

3. Grand Finale (25th Oct, Offline)
   Top 25 teams pitch live in Delhi NCR before jury, mentors, and sponsors.
