Over the past two weeks, Cinemapper.com has completely exploded. Hundreds of thousands of film fans flooded the map to explore movie locations around the world. As two independent founders, watching this community grow overnight has been surreal.

There’s just one unexpected plot twist: success almost broke our servers.

Our cloud hosting bill for this viral surge just landed, and it’s £2,000 due this Friday, August 7th.

We want to keep Cinemapper 100% free for everyone to discover and explore. We are mid development of the iOS and Andorid apps too (coming later this year - for free). But to keep the servers running through this traffic spike, we need a little help from our core community.

We’re launching the CineMapper Explorers Club, a simple, one-off £10 membership for life, to help us cover the server bill and keep CineMapper online.
