Think of your wider circles, work friends, maybe even housemate you don’t fancy but who would be great for someone else? We don’t love Hinge, but if you’re on there, you could even bring a Hinge date, and if guys don’t hit it off, they might be perfect for someone else and you also get to meet other people at the same time.

You can also join the waitlist for each of our events as we often do have cancellations.

We recently put out a few prompts on our instagram story to get more insight into what kind of events you’d like to see from us.

The feedback was super helpful, and we’re really appreciative of everyone who shared their thoughts.

One of the main points of feedback was “more events!!”, which was lovely to see, and kicked us into action to book in a stacked July.

UPCOMING EVENTS

It’s now Winter, and we have been working hard to organise weekly events to help get everybody cuffed.

This Thursday, 18th June we have another queer (wlw) speed dating event at Runner Up in Collingwood. We have a few tickets remaining if you’d like to join. See tickets + details here.

The following week, on Friday 26th June we’re so excited to be hosting another dinner party at Fenton Farmhouse, with Super Norma on the food. It’s a straight event for people in their 30’s. The women’s tickets have sold out, however you can join the waitlist in case we have cancellations. We do have some men’s tickets remaining. See tickets + details here.

If you have missed out on this months events, July will be also packed with mixers and another dinner party at the end of the month.

DATE NIGHT SPOTLIGHT

We recently went to Bar Carnation in Carlton North to review whether it would be a good date night spot as part of our “Date Night Series” on Tiktok.

You guys, it was both delicious and sexy, making it the ideal spot for a special occasion or a very impressive first date.

If you go on a date here we recommend sitting at the table under the stairs or up at the bar, ordering some oysters and pasta to share with a martini to wash it all down.

SYDNEY EXPANSION

We’re so excited to be heading over to Sydney to start our events over there (alongside our events in Melb) in the coming months.

At the moment, we’re searching for the right venues to partner with. If you know of any nice spots in Sydney that you think would be a good fit for us, please let us know in the DM’s. And if you have single friends over there, please spread the word to them!

Sat, Feb 14th was Valentine’s Day and we had such a fun day!! 🌷

We really wanted to celebrate being single on Valentine’s Day, so we hit the streets of Collingwood to hand out free flowers to singles. We met so many nice people on this day and had so much fun. You can watch the video here.

Then we headed to High Note to get set up for our speed dating event! It was such a cute one. It was a bit more of a special event than our usual ones because of it being on Valentine’s Day, so we had DJ’s playing (s/o Skylab Radio 🎵), heaps of flowers everywhere, and the vibe was excellent.

There were also lots of people at High Note just hanging out on the deck outside, so once we finished up we encouraged everyone to hang around and flirt and it was really nice to see heaps of people still there at the bar/hanging out with people, flirting and making friends after the event wrapped up. There was even a larger group of people who all went out to get food together after on High Street <3

Upcoming Events!

Sunday 01.03 - Queer (lesbian/wlw) speed dating.

On Sunday, 1st March we have a queer (lesbian/wlw) speed dating event at Runner Up.

This one will be during the day from 2-5pm so a bit different to our usual ones. We will have a sexy DJ playing, snacks etc. We’re hoping for good weather so image sunshine outside, a nice cocktail! And flirting to someone until the early evening.

We have 2 x grouped tickets left for this event if you’d like to come along with a friend, or you can join the waitlist for a single ticket.

Event Announcement: State Library x Crush Club: Speed Dating in the Library

We wanted you to be the first notified of our upcoming events with the State Library!

We’re throwing two huge speed dating events in partnership with the State Library in late April.

Will be for ages 20-60, and we will be having one straight event and one queer one (for both lesbians/wlw & queer men/mlm)

Singles will be broken out by age group and dating in the iconic Ian Potter Queens Hall & The Dome Reading Room. If you’ve ever dreamt of a meet-cute at a library, now is your chance!
