One interesting fact, worth noting.. there was no sadness about leaving.. Ending the Known each day before bed eliminates that Time Bound waste of energy.. It doesn't matter what happened on any given day if one embraces death and destruction of the known through throughout the day, then again before bed..

When sadness comes up at any point in the day if you simply remain with it.. that emotional energy will dissipate of its own accord… you don't have to do one thing.. just Watch it.. like a Hawk.. [ Negation ] The memory may remain, but the personal identification/emotional attachment will recede.. Till it disappears..

Woke up.. feeling good.. Relieved and Ready for this next chapter/Incarnation.. 6th in this same body..

For the previous 10 years or so.. More often than not a day like this would've left my aging body destroyed.. feeling sick, like a mild case of the flu.. Not today though, I feel strangely wonderful.. A little tired, mildly fatigued. Not completely exhausted.. More like I had done maybe a third of what I actually achieved..

The difference maker? A Super Adaptogen blend… Reshi, Lions mane, Chaga, Maca, Ashwaganda, & MCT oil, all organic and mixed into my morning coffee..

Funny the magical effects of Prana from clutching living rocks as compared to pulling on plastic holds in the climbing gym.. I do love climbing gyms but My arthritic fingers and left knee cease to be noticeable.. during and for hours afterward.. pulling on Real Rock..

A couple of winters back I had skinned up to the Tioga Pass cabin to enjoy 2 days of prime time back country turns.. Snow conditions were good and the weather forecast was for a 3 ft+ drop from the next storm.. due to start at the end of my 2nd day. So wanting to make the most of good conditions I waited till the last minute to ski down.. In this case Last minute being O dark thirty..

The winds that typically usher in a good storm began to signal Go Time.. So I gulped down my coffee and protein drink.. put on my goggles and headed out.

Moving quickly in the pitch dark with the aid of a cutting edge headlamp technology.. My world was none the less turning horizontal.. Skiing in a snowstorm tends to be a little disorienting.. so though I had skied this terrain for over 2 decades I couldn't go too fast..

There were only two No Fall Zones in the 9 mile decent.. where I really had to be extra careful..

I carry two headlamps when skiing at night.. loss of your Light is not an option..

It was super fun.. a little hazardous but my Intuition had cleared me for takeoff.. so down I went..

Life today in this crazy machine world of Kaliyuga can be enjoyed Safely it just requires doing the one thing that no machine will ever do.. not any LLM now nor any AI that will be created in the future..

Six years of primarily bouldering in North Carolina has set the stage to make the most of her new Dream home.. Yosemite’s Tuolumne Meadows..

Mid 70’s with a slight breeze made conditions a little warm, but doable..

Having climbed at this formation before I took the sharp end.. Most of the time in the last few years that has not been the case.. because objectives tended to be too hard for this grandpa to lead, so it felt good to be a little uncomfortable ..on lead.. Super fun keeping the rope moving at a reasonable pace..

It was very enjoyable getting to know Sydney better.. She is a prime example of what John Muir referred to as `Fine Bright company’..

When I encounter youth like Sydney my faith in Mankind is renewed.. Her parents did a great job.. Fact.. This Woman knows the score, smart, tough, resilient, and Compassionate.. That smile speaks volumes..

As does her hunger for Big adventure out in Mother Nature…

Just 2 feet away I was having to scream near the top of my lungs to communicate with my buddy Tom.. we agreed.. `It's time to run for your life ’… Especially for him, he was under clothed..

A White Out.. can be very disorienting.. creating in this case a horizontal storm world impossible to stand up in or look into.. Driven by Gale force winds.. snow and ice particles can literally damage your eyes in minutes without goggles.. Mine we're buried, couldn't find them.. So looking down wind only I slithered seeing only about 8 to 10 feet ahead.. on what I prayed was the trail.. About 100 ft. later I was able to rise like a strange humpback on a wide stance.. all crouched down.. able to walk and withstand the gusts.. After dropping down to 11,000 feet I resembled a snow glazed humpback.. who could now walk up right..

The storm lessoned substantially by the time I got back to my truck at 8000 feet. It was a wild surreal contrast two completely separate worlds one at 13K ft. elevation the other at 5K ft..

A strong climbing partner, Tom Cosgriff and I had thought we would race up a climb on Keeler Needle and beat the bad weather.. Ha.. Mother Nature gave us a good slap down.. she had other plans..

In 1986 - 87? We had no cell phones.. No, last-minute weather updates.. So we learned a good lesson that late November day at 13,000 feet..

High Sierra Winter storms were a level up...

Still traveling this Magically Silent terrain in Winter but.. Not during Winter Storms…

At least not on purpose..

What was revealed in that interview was quite a story.. Her truly torturous childhood [raised in a quasi demonic cult with some ghastly rituals ].. laid the foundation for her going Trans.. 15 minutes later I saw six point buck I had to stop for and let him meander cross the road.. again right in front of me..

Then on the return trip to my work station Tioga pass, I stopped at Tenaya Lake to eat lunch and saw an large adult osprey clutching a trout in it's talons less than 100 feet away…

There are no words that can sufficiently express what seeing wildlife like this in person is like… They Do Not Exist..

Yet the current administration couldn't care less…

In fact it wants to.. further Monetize.. Digitize.. Privatize.. Sterilize.. Dehumanize and thus further restrict American citizens from the enjoyment of THEIR National Parks.. Where a Soul Regenerating Experience in Nature as I enjoyed yesterday are the last refuge where they can be found..

In fact..` The Donald's ‘ team of DOI and DOA carpetbaggers is well into the process of selling off / leasing as much of the public lands as possible even though approximately 90% of Americans want no such thing..

The High Art of their appropriate expression and combination is found in the ancient Sacred language of Sanskrit.. I studied it briefly 30 years ago in a heavenly 2 week Ayurvedic Yoga training.. Yet.. Once in a while, we do come across a radiant.. glistening.. example of Real Intelligence..

One such encounter for me was when my neighbor/surfing buddy handed me a brochure.. with a statement made by JR Krishnamurti.. ` Truth is a Pathless Land, One cannot approach it via any organized religion., philosophy, psychological technique.. It is only through negation of all that is created by thought.. That the possibility of arriving at the Truth then exists’ .. Speechless.. I read it again…

This required real energy to delve into.. so with insufficient motivation, I placed the brochure on my dresser and told myself I'll check it out later..

Now Like several of my readers, who have been blessed by more than one teacher.. K’s work presented an entirely different orientation to me..

It was anathema to everything I had previously been taught..

A few days after scanning K’s brochure.. Boom.. my wife said she would be leaving..

She had been dropping hints for a couple months now, but until I heard those words, I didn't think she was serious..

Lilly Coffman.. close by so most every Sunday and Wednesday I was there.. Then after a couple of yrs.. I moved to Ojai, CA. US headquarters for K’s Foundation and School..

It generated Fundamental Change in the way I operated.. I perceived Life.. Oddly… at various times a Mirror was found in the moment.. revealing what I was actually doing not what I thought I was doing.. Awareness began to expand…

Less and less did I experience the constriction of living in time, believing in time... Believing that the answer is always held further out in the Known.. A little More thought .. more Prayer.. more advanced meditation techniques.. etc. etc. All were dissolving..

Then the realization came that to attempt with thought to gain the Infinite Unknowable is a Denial of the Fact.. that WE are already up to our necks in it.. Right Now..

Had I been on top of my Feng Shui mojo I would have known a fire was predictable for that location..

FS origins trace back to 4000 BC.. Essentially it is a very very comprehensive Chinese art form utilizing architecture, interior design, spatial arrangement, to harmonize with natural energy flows.. Feng Shui Masters are consulted by major corporations in the Orient.. before choosing a location for their headquarters building.. Geographic location maximizes the alignment for future success and abundance.. Simultaneously eliminating catastrophic Location mistakes. There's nothing worse than to put up a major structure and have it burn down three years later..

Having studied it very briefly a couple of decades earlier I understood its importance.. I understood the basics.. What I forgot to do is to apply that knowledge before moving to the location that burned..

Is it really necessary to study feng shui? No… One can simplify the process of choosing the appropriate location for your new home..

Ask the Universe if the location you're considering is ultimately a Wise choice..? then Sit quietly and listen to your intuition/ your heart.. free of investment in the answer…

Though annoying and inconvenient.. the fire was a teacher, a simplifier of sorts.. It helped me get rid of a lot old climbing, and skiing guidebooks no longer used.. Thank goodness none of my clothing nor my climbing and skiing gear, were harmed.. And of course, most importantly no one got hurt…
