I started this wee newsletter as a space to talk about Hearts, my local football team. I still talk about the Jambos over on Facebook.

But in terms of writing loads of text, I thought I’d turn this newsletter to something that would be more useful to the wider Edinburgh community.

The mainstream media has done a poor job over the past few years, and with most people getting their local news from social media, it left a gap for bloggers and vloggers to fill the gap.

So that’s what I’m doing with Daily Salt n’ Sauce. This will be a place where I’ll cover local Edinburgh culture and entertainment - led by our social media coverage.

I hope this is something you’ll stick around for! Expect regular notes from Edinburgh, on what’s on and more!
