This week was a surreal and teachable moment in Republican politics.

On the one hand, you have Republican senators on the Homeland Security Committee berating Anthony Fauci for covering up his COVID crimes and refusing to testify and answer questions. You have the entire “conservative movement” earning clicks and subscribers off their hot takes from the committee hearing.

Yet, at the same time, you have the Trump administration and some of the same Senate Republicans (in another committee) confirming Erica Schwartz as CDC director. Who is Erica Schwartz?

As my friend Aaron Siri notes, “She led nationwide Covid-19 vaccine deployment and has a long track record of directly issuing rights-crushing civilian and military vaccine mandates, including mandating injection of smallpox, anthrax, and flu vaccines. She even disciplined those that refused. She then added to that impressive record by becoming an executive at UnitedHealthcare Group.”

Oh, and at the committee hearing, she affirmed that the COVID shots and mRNA technology are “safe and effective.”

This is Trump’s CDC director…right now…five years after we should have all learned our lesson.

This brings me back to the Fauci hearing. Notice that every senator except for Ron Johnson refused to bring up the vaccines. Let’s be honest: lockdowns and COVID origin mattered six years ago, and when it mattered, Republicans were on the wrong side. Now that the issue is vaccines, they refuse to touch it.

Multiply this by every other issue and you now understand the GOP modus operandi.

Anyway, I apologize it’s been a while since I’ve sent out an email. Here is my list of stories:

Technocracy

-Employees pushing back against generative AI use: Companies have been bullying employees to use AI, but that has backfired, according to a new Financial Times piece. A survey of 3,750 executives and employees found that 54% of workers bypassed those tools in the past 30 days and instead did the work manually, while another 33% skipped AI entirely.

- New York enacts one-year data center ban on projects larger than 50 megawatts: Well, after Florida RINOs blocked DeSantis’s plan for a de facto moratorium on hyperscalers, New York beat them to the punch.

Meanwhile, as Indiana Republicans maniacally support the data center land grab, the Democrat mayor of Indianapolis is supporting a moratorium.

-PJM lacks the power for data centers: “PJM Interconnection, the largest US power grid (Regional Transmission Organization), which serves 67 million customers in 13 states and Washington, DC, said its auction to procure power for the year starting June 2028 fell 6.8 gigawatts short of what it will need to guarantee system reliability during demand spikes, in a statement released Tuesday. The shortfall is equivalent to almost seven traditional nuclear reactors.”

-Hyperscale debt spiraling out of control: As Bloomberg observes, “Signs of Hyperscaler credit stress has reached the highest since Goldman Sachs launched the basket in February. The data-center building boom has sparked an explosion of debt funding, with investors not paying enough attention to the terms of their lending.” Goldman Sachs estimates the five largest hyperscalers will spend $5.8 trillion on AI infrastructure by 2030. They’ve raised nearly $200 billion in bonds this year and $90 billion more through off-balance-sheet joint ventures tied to individual data centers. There is no way they will be able to raise anywhere near enough revenue to cover this cost.

-Why AI capex is insolvent: “The returns are diminishing. The bigger an AI model is, the less it improves with each added parameter, and so it must be made bigger at a faster rate just to sustain steady progress.”

-Data center developers beginning to sell out their shares: We first saw it with Blackstone in Virginia, but now it’s becoming a trend with the first developers of data centers to sell out their shares. But why would they do so if there is not much of a positive return in the future?

- A Wall Street Journal investigation finds Big Tech companies are severely underreporting water consumption: We are starting to see the drip drip about the “closed loop” system that is not exactly what it’s promised to be.

-Former AWS employee alleges Amazon lying about water use: So we’re increasingly being told that data centers not only will not drain local water resources, but barely use any water whatsoever. I’m waiting for them to start asserting that they will actually add water, the same assertion they are making with power. Anyway, the scientist who served as the water sustainability program manager at AWS is now suing the company, alleging that they are covering up the magnitude of their water use. “Another representation Dr. Wangusi alleges is misleading is a claim that AWS datacenters in Northern Virginia operate “ninety-seven percent of the year by pulling outside air and not using any water.”In contrast, or so the lawsuit states, the utility records all show AWS facilities withdrawing water all year round, from January 2023 to December 2026.”

-PJM announces it’s 6.8 gigawatts short to ensure reliability of grid thanks to data centers: PJM Interconnections is the largest grid operator, servicing 68 million people in the Mid-Atlantic and parts of the Midwest. In their auction conducted last week, when accepting contracts to harness power for the year starting June 2028, they fell 6.8 gigawatts short of what it will need to guarantee system reliability during demand spikes. Now, remember, that number will grow exponentially if the data center industry actually follows through with its plan to build hundreds of hyperscales in the regions.

-Lawsuit Claims the Mayo Clinic’s Use of AI Is Butchering Patient Care: I have long feared that implementation of AI in various fields, particularly health care, is coming from a frenetic political agenda rather than being science-driven. It doesn’t mean there aren’t narrow AI tools that can be very productive when targeted to a specific task and when not used to supplant a doctor’s judgement. However, the sheer scope and speed at which they are rushing to deploy these systems is concerning, and is now buttressed by a new lawsuit. Former Mayo Clinic research director and AI compliance lead Traci Tamiko Eto alleges in a whistleblower lawsuit that she was pushed out for raising concerns about privacy issues with AI systems, as well as a 67% error rate in one of them.

- Over 20 documented instances of police misusing Flock cameras: Since 2023, there have been over 20 instances of police abusing Flock systems to stalk romantic interests and rivals. One Idaho officer tracked his wife’s movements over 700 times and, to avoid suspicion, put the word “test” before each search. Again, you don’t need these things to stop crime.

- How Meta Got Everything It Wanted in a Secret Louisiana Data Center Deal: The NYT has a devastating expose on how Louisiana’s governor and legislature secretly slipped through massive tax breaks in order to pave the way for a Meta data center that will cover about six square miles and use seven times as much energy as New Orleans.

-17 states under emergency order for power use: The DOE has announced that 17 states covering 20 million residents are now under a state of emergency for potential blackouts. Watch for this to be a new normal in the era of data centers.

-Anthropic destroyed millions of rare books to copy them for its LLMs: We’ve already known that the LLM makers have pirated humanity’s works to feed and train its LLMs. Now we are being told they purposely bought up every rare book, often the last existing copy, and copied them and then had them shredded so now nobody else will ever have access, but they can be used by their LLMs. So now we are going back to book burning as human progress.

-Apple now launching program to lease devices: What did I tell you! Part of the data center agenda is self-fulfilling in that by building so much cloud and thereby making chips so expensive, people will be forced to rent cloud space or devices because they can’t afford to own them.

Congress

-From one RINO to another: “She understood what drove Lindsey,” Sen. Katie Britt, R-Ala., said of the late senator’s sister Darline, who will serve out the rest of his Senate term. “It’s in her blood. It’s in her DNA.” Yeah, that’s what we’re afraid of! Then again, Katie Britt is no more conservative than Lindsey was, even though she is relatively new and was, of course, elevated to the Senate by Trump.

Culture

-Somali cops in Minneapolis: What is the end-result of flooding the country with jihadists from places like Somalia? They eventually get elected to public office and also become policemen who openly assert their job is to look out for their own.

-Chinese and Mexican cartels thriving on marijuana growing and trade in CA: California is a utopia for marijuana legalization and embracement. Yet, rather than putting the black market out of business, it made it worse, as some of us predicted.

Foreign Policy

-Trump greenlights U.S. to build Saudi nuclear program: Trump is forging a deal with Saudi Arabia to have American companies build them a nuclear program, which will absolutely include weapons-grade enrichment. How much do you want to bet Kushner, as head of the Saudi sovereign wealth fund, is involved in steering contracts to family and donor businesses? This is where his focus lies on a given day.

Dear Patriot,

Well, it’s official. Trump allowed the Elizabeth Warren Section 8 bill to become law. If left unchecked, this will transform red America like nothing before it. At the same time, nothing on immigration has been codified into law. Welcome to the most subversive GOP trifecta of all time.

Meanwhile, here are some of the important stories I’m focused on today:

Economy

-Horrendous June jobs report: There’s a ton of terrible data in the latest BLS jobs report, but the upshot is that year-over-year, there are now 1,529,000 fewer fulltime jobs. Here are some more points:

· Excluding covid, the employment-population ratio is now the lowest since 2014, when we emerged from the GFC. But inflation was a fraction of what it is today.

· Also, full-time jobs are now down 2.2 million since Trump took office. All net job growth since then (which doesn’t even keep up with population growth) came from part-time work.

· We’ve now suffered a net 73k job loss in the manufacturing sector since Trump took office.

I thought we were undergoing the greatest re-privatizing of our economy with a manufacturing boom led by AI data centers? What happened to the boom?

Technocracy

-License plate cameras will soon track phones, wearables, infotainment, and even your pets: Lauren Fix has a riveting (and scary) column detailing how cars are increasingly becoming digital surveillance prisons.

-Virginia gov. opposes Democrat backbencher plan for data center moratorium: Gov. Spanberger ran on protecting citizens from data centers. Now that she is governor? Not so much. She said on a Politico podcast that she opposes efforts from backbenchers in her party to propose a data center ban. Now she has successfully convinced the legislature to keep the tax breaks for data centers. Classic case of each party only voicing the right views when they are out of power.

- Blackstone-owned QTS abandons planned world’s largest data center campus after years of lawsuits: Speaking of Virginia, A Blackstone subsidiary has been planning a 22-million-square-foot, gigawatt-scale data center complex in Prince William County, Virginia, that would have been the world’s largest. Following the zoning approval from the PW County Board of Supervisors, the local residents rebelled and lodged lawsuits alleging the rezoning did not go through the proper process. After several years of fighting concerning the historic Manassas battlefield nearby, Blackstone pulled the plug. Again, this shows self-governance still works when we get on the playing field.

-Calvert County Commissioners booted for support of data centers: A few weeks ago, Calvert County, MD, Republican voters booted all three commissioners who signed NDAs with data centers and then opposed a proposed moratorium. The new Tea Party movement is here.

- Amazon has borrowed more than $100 billion so far this year, including 40- and 50-year debt. Investors are growing a bit weary: Even for a large company like Amazon, that is a heck of a lot of debt for a product that is not turning a profit.

Elections

-AI PAC spent $500,000 in ads for Byron Donalds: But wouldn’t even mention the AI issue in the ads because they know it’s unpopular.

-Republicans frantically spending in red states: One Nation, the nonprofit aligned with Senate Majority Leader John Thune, is reserving $28 million in TV advertising in Ohio and $11 million in Iowa. Although it is normal for the majority party to lose power during the midterm election, the fact that Republicans are struggling this much in red states demonstrates how they have nothing to be proud of about their tenure in charge.

Trump administration

-Trump’s Brokerage Accounts Made Big Trades Around ‘Liberation Day’ Tariffs: So what was accomplished from last year’s ill-fated tariffs? Trump got rich off them. Just like with crypto and AI, Trump knows that his mere press releases, not to mention actual policies, will singlehandedly determine the fate of numerous companies, at least in terms of their short-term valuations. The Wall Street Journal found that Trump’s brokerage accounts made over 21,000 individual securities trades in 2025, many of them around the April tariff announcements.

For example, we all remember how the market tanked on April 2 – “Liberation Day” -- but then surged on April 9 when Trump announced a 90-day pause to the tariffs. Well, thanks to this year’s disclosures, which came out 14 months after they were required by law, we know that on April 8—the day before the tariff reversal—Trump’s money managers bought 327 individual stocks, heavily focusing on mega-cap tech giants including Amazon, Apple, Alphabet (Google), Microsoft, and Nvidia.

Another example was in July 2025 when Trump announced an “AI Action Plan” aimed at promoting data centers. That same day, one Trump investment account bought between $6 million and $30 million worth of stock in some of the biggest tech companies.

In case you are wondering what Trump is focused on, this is it.

Immigration

-Judges ruled against Trump immigration policies 15,000 times: For an understanding of why we have no country unless we rightfully reject judicial supremacy, Politico has a new analysis showing that 464 judges have ruled against Trump 15,000 times on immigration, with only 54 judges ruling in his favor on 2,200 cases.

“In dozens of cases, the Justice Department declined to defend ICE detentions, instead simply conceding that detainees were owed bond hearings or even outright release. That pattern has now played out at least 200 times.” “The administration has also faced more than 700 rejections from judges for its detention of people who have been ordered deported — and sometimes have lengthy criminal records — but whose home countries refuse to take them back, or who have other obstacles to their deportation.”

-South African citizens round up illegal aliens: Unlike in America where we give invaders access to the courts and we persecute those who try to enforce sovereignty, South African citizens are flipping the script. In recent years, they’ve had a large problem with illegals and refugees. Now citizens are grabbing illegal aliens and handing them over to authorities. If this happened in America, Republican judges would convict the citizen protesters and set the illegals free.

Culture

-Islamic call to prayer blaring in local neighborhoods: You can click here to listen to what it sounds like when Islam conquers an area. It sounds more like a war cry than a prayer. Local governments need to box this out with ordinances.

-Pew: 44% of Muslims in U.S. support Hamas: A new Pew survey of attitudes towards Israel is being passed around the internet. The main headline is how support for Israel is dropping amidst the online psyop of the past few years; however, the bigger story is the attitude of Muslims in America. Nearly half of Muslims sampled were willing to tell a pollster they support Hamas, which means the percent of those who privately sympathize with them is obviously much higher.

-CAIR of Indiana pissed off at Indiana Lt Gov. Beckwith: Mica Beckwith came on my show two weeks ago to speak the truth about Islam. Hamas in his state is not too happy.

- Immigrants account for more than 50% of suspects in recorded gang rape cases: According to German police data, immigrants (mainly Islamic) account for roughly half of all gang rape cases. 80% of the victims, of course, were native women.

-49% of adults under 30 lived with parents: According to a new Federal Reserve report, nearly half of all adults under 30 still lived with their parents last year. That is a 12-point jump in just six years. We have never faced such a generational cliff for affordability, and this was all created by the government during COVID.

There are no good answers, but contemplating that question is the first step to seeking divine guidance, which is the only thing that can help.

I know it’s extremely hot in most parts of the country, so if you are inclined to stay indoors, please take some time to read my July 4 manifesto. It’s long in content but modest in approach. However, I see few people broaching these issues.

Proclaim liberty throughout the land!

The most remarkable aspect of the American Revolution is how ordinary — even mundane — the initial grievances were that drove our founders to rebel and form a new government.

The level of government control over our lives today, even in the freest parts of the country, is tyrannically officious compared with the reach King George III wielded over the colonists in the early 1770s. That solemn thought should infuse our celebrations with a fiery dedication to reconstitute what is rightfully ours.

We have failed to ‘keep’ the republic the founders bequeathed to us.

Yet even as we celebrate the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, most self-identified patriots will not contemplate pledging “our Lives, our Fortunes and our sacred Honor” — or even using the constitutional tools still available to rectify today’s “long train of abuses and usurpations.”

How hollow will this anniversary ring if we celebrate a document we ignore when its moral logic applies more urgently now than when Thomas Jefferson’s mighty pen etched the shot heard ’round the world?

Tragically, 250 years after declaring independence from a monarch, we have embraced the “elective despotism” Jefferson feared. We have allowed every sector of our economy to be distorted, manipulated, and monopolized by government and its allies. We have allowed them to surveil and track our lives. We have allowed them to transform our demographics and culture. We have even allowed unelected judges to hand out citizenship to invaders.

In short, we have failed to “keep” the republic the founders bequeathed to us.

All we have left is the flickering ember of the spirit of 1776 still burning within a significant minority. From that ember, we must rebuild, reconstitute, or chart a new path.

But the threat no longer resides across an ocean. It is embedded in our law, culture, government, body politic, and economy. So we are left with a critical question: Do we still possess the wherewithal — or even the desire — to “provide new Guards for [our] future security”?

Or will we continue to suffer while evils remain sufferable until the burden becomes impossible to bear and impossible to defeat?

Elective despotism replaced monarchy

How did we reach a point at which nearly every aspect of the Constitution has been abrogated, except for those clauses debased by courts and political elites to prevent the public from repairing the very holes they tore in our social compact?

George Washington foresaw the danger in the republic’s earliest days. In his farewell address, he warned that political parties would turn public policy into “the mirror of the ill-concerted and incongruous projects of faction” rather than the “organ of consistent and wholesome plans.”

Instead of political branches and layers of federalism checking one another, we got unified divisions through political parties owned by special interests rather than by the common good.

Jefferson warned Madison that “factions get possession of the public councils,” that bribery corrupts them, and that personal interests lead them away from the general interests of their constituents.

The modern dysfunction crystallized in the decades after World War II. Fueled by the expansion of the administrative state, the growth of welfare dependency, and cultural balkanization, both parties reoriented themselves toward monied donors and specialized factions at the expense of the nation.

Despite the manufactured theater of division between liberals and conservatives, the true divide lies between the bipartisan donor class — allied on most critical issues — and the everyday citizens they govern.

Ordinary citizens can rarely reach real governing power in meaningful numbers. Winning requires war chests of cash, which are readily available only to those willing to serve special interests.

Today, a single congressional district contains roughly 761,000 people, far more than any individual colony in 1776. Even state Senate races in large states routinely exceed $1 million in campaign expenditures. Running for governor, senator, or president requires astronomical resources. Candidates are forced into an insatiable quest for campaign funds, making them reliant on the forces undermining the common cause.

With rare exceptions, our political system is bought and paid for by narrow donor interests. We pride ourselves on holding free elections, but our actual choices are often scarcely more divergent than those found in openly totalitarian regimes.

Madison’s warning in Federalist No. 10 was prophetic: “Men of factious tempers ... or of sinister designs” may “first obtain the suffrages, and then betray the interests, of the people.”

Our modern factions have effectively merged into a monopolistic cartel. We now suffer the disadvantages of a small, easily corrupted republic without the dilution and accommodation Madison hoped would temper faction in an extended republic.

The result is a breakdown of representative government.

Grievances worse than 1776

What has this half-century duopoly wrought?

We now have government-created monopolies in every major industry, from tech and medicine to food and banking. This tyranny largely operates on autopilot. It is decentralized and largely unaffected by elections. It is embedded in crony capitalism — a form of “private” venture socialism that evades our laws, corrupts public policy, and monopolizes the capital required to win office.

Meanwhile, we have a government surveillance state strong enough to monitor, deter, and punish those who organize against its tyranny but somehow too weak to confront violent crime, open borders, Antifa communists, and the threat of Islam.

Rather than the legislature predominating, as Madison envisioned, we are ruled by an unelected judiciary that has been wrongly accorded the status of final arbiter over every constitutional, political, and social question.

Even if citizens in deep-red states successfully navigate the political process, unelected federal judges claim final authority over every political question, including whether the children of illegal invaders are citizens. And while those judges are nowhere to be found when authentic constitutional rights are violated — remember COVID? — they swoop in whenever states try to interpose against federal tyranny or address illegal immigration.

The grievances against the king cannot hold a candle to the 10-alarm fire we face today. Our modern tyranny is more encompassing and embedded within our own institutions, wielding more power than a distant monarch ever could.

John Adams warned us to “nip the shoots of arbitrary power in the bud.” Responding to the claim that he was stirring up rebellion over a threepence tax on tea, Adams insisted that “Obsta principiis” — resisting beginnings — was the only maxim that could preserve liberty.

He understood that tyranny grows like a cancer. When the people give way, he warned, “their deceivers, betrayers, and destroyers press upon them so fast” that later resistance becomes impossible. Corruption grows, dependents multiply, and “virtue, integrity, public spirit, simplicity, and frugality” become objects of ridicule.

That is precisely the corruption that has consumed our demographics, government, legal system, and economy. Worse, it has hollowed out the people’s desire to resist.

Patrick Henry warned of the fatal consequences of acting too late. “It is natural to man to indulge in the illusions of hope,” he said, but he wanted to know “the whole truth” and “the worst” so he could provide for it.

He pressed the urgency: “When shall we be stronger? Will it be the next week, or the next year?” Would the people gain strength “by irresolution and inaction,” or by “hugging the delusive phantom of hope”?

God blessed the founders’ bold preemptive strike on tyranny while they still had power. With it, they built a prosperous and just civilization.

As late as the 150th anniversary, Calvin Coolidge could boast that despite “the welter of partisan politics,” Americans could still turn to the Declaration and Constitution with confidence that those “great charters of freedom and justice remain firm and unshaken.”

A century later, after at least 50 years of duplicitous leadership and feckless controlled opposition, we find ourselves inside Henry’s nightmare. We are rapidly losing both the resolve and the practical ability to resist.

So what do we do now, years too late and trillions of dollars short?

Nonresistance is slavish

The most vexing question of our time is this: How do we morally and practically apply the Declaration’s principle of the right to revolution in the modern era?

We extol the famous lines about inalienable rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. We praise government by consent of the governed. But what happens when a citizenry suffers radical social transformation without representation — a transformation that inhibits life, liberty, and property in a way that would make King George blush?

We often gloss over the Declaration’s central justification for revolution: When faced with a “long train of abuses and usurpations,” the people have the right and duty “to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.”

To the founders, this was not metaphor. The Maryland Declaration of Rights stated plainly: “The doctrine of non-resistance, against arbitrary power and oppression, is absurd, slavish, and destructive.”

Yet this doctrine of nonresistance is precisely the posture the modern political right has adopted. Part of this stems from an ethos that venerates law and order and opposes political violence. Part is practical calculation in an age when even local governments possess coercive force beyond what entire armies wielded in the 1770s.

No rational citizen wants violent rebellion or hot civil war. But we cannot even muster a unified vision among Republican leaders for peaceful resistance to unconstitutional laws, policies, and court orders.

Where are the local officials with the spine to refuse enforcement? Where are the state leaders willing to interpose on behalf of their constituents? Need we be reminded of the COVID mandates? How does that overreach compare with the relatively ethereal touch of King George?

Voting Republican every two years, trapped in a perpetual political Groundhog Day while remaining passive in between, will not save the republic. Such complacency is a betrayal of the people and principles we claim to celebrate.

Madison’s final hope

Had the founders established a single consolidated national government, we would be out of time and options. At this late hour, after Adams’ “shoots” of arbitrary power have matured into thickets of tyranny, it is virtually impossible to abolish a centralized leviathan so powerful amid a deeply balkanized population.

Yet one bulwark remains: Madison’s federalist design.

The structural defenses are badly weakened. Nevertheless, we still have 50 state governments and thousands of layered county and local jurisdictions that retain sovereign authority. In a substantial portion of America — perhaps 40% — these jurisdictions are populated by strong majorities who still have the principles of 1776 pulsing through their veins.

If we consistently elected representatives in these regions who reflected the people’s will — treating leaders like Florida Republican Governor Ron DeSantis as the bare-minimum standard rather than as an anomaly — we could use the 10th Amendment and state institutions to interpose on behalf of the people.

Red-state America, or at least defiant pockets within it, can become the last “asylum on earth for civil and religious liberty,” as Samuel Adams envisioned after the signing of the Declaration.

Isolated citizens acting alone cannot topple systemic tyranny. But if the people reclaim control over one state government, and then a few more, those sovereign institutions can become the shield necessary to resist.

Party conventions can beat elective despotism

None of this will happen under our current electoral system.

No prominent Democrats share our values, and no more than 10% of Republicans share them and are willing to fight for them. That percentage shrinks the higher one climbs the political ladder.

This returns us to elective despotism. The only viable way to reach voters under the current system is through torrents of cash, supplied by the venture-socialist interests subverting our government, society, and economy.

That brings us to a pragmatic solution: the state party convention system.

Ironically, we can weaponize the party apparatus — one of the mechanisms that fueled this crisis — to dismantle it. Changing the general election system would require near-impossible constitutional reform. But the process for nominating candidates is governed by private party rules.

In more than 40% of the country, the Republican nominee is virtually guaranteed to win the general election. The problem is that GOP nominees are often corrupted by the establishment. In direct primaries, the corrupted candidates with enough money win 95% of the time.

But who says we must hold primaries?

Red-state America, or at least defiant pockets within it, can become the last ‘asylum on earth for civil and religious liberty.’

Unlike easily manipulated mass-primary voters, Utah’s convention delegates, while imperfect, are vastly more discerning. They frequently disregard establishment financial advantages and support underdogs over entrenched incumbents. Unfortunately, figures like Mitt Romney maneuvered to gut the convention as the final determinant of nominees in Utah.

Imagine if every red state selected candidates exclusively by convention. It would instantly neutralize the donor class. No amount of special-interest cash could force a thousand informed grassroots delegates to unsee a candidate’s weak record.

Even if a compromised candidate secured the nomination once, he would be kept on a short leash, knowing he would face those same delegates again.

Victory would require convincing 1,000 principled activists rather than raising $5 million — or $100 million in statewide Texas races — for mass television buys. That would spark grassroots candidate recruitment from the very leaders we have ignored: smart, godly men with the tenacity to understand the times but without the money to present themselves in a high-cost direct primary.

Critics may dismiss conventions as smoke-filled rooms. But each delegate is elected at a neighborhood precinct meeting of registered local Republicans. This is hyper-local, decentralized civic engagement — exactly the type of organizing our founders modeled through Committees of Correspondence.

In an era of financial and institutional monopolies, this remains the most viable path to electing a critical mass of patriots in red America within one or two cycles.

Interposition is your friend

Once we establish a mechanism to elect real patriots and reclaim state sovereignty, we must use the doctrine of the lesser magistrate to interpose against external tyranny.

The founders did not fail to imagine federal usurpation. They failed to imagine that all 50 states would genuflect to it like servile puppy dogs.

A rogue district judge ruling? An unconstitutional presidential order? Even a law of Congress? The founders never doubted that states, pressed by homogeneous populations united under a common cause, would refuse to comply.

Even Alexander Hamilton, the great champion of national power, recognized limits. In Federalist No. 33, he wrote that federal acts “NOT PURSUANT” to constitutional powers are “merely acts of usurpation” and “deserve to be treated as such.”

The founders fought a bloody war to create a federalist system so we would not have to. If we asserted the constitutional authority already vested in the states, we could neutralize many tyrannical policies without firing a shot.

That requires reforming nominations, electing leaders with clear marching orders, and finally translating rhetoric into action when faced with unconstitutional mandates.

Naturally, once patriots secure governing control in red regions, they should not rule capriciously, unmoored from constitutional restraint like the French Revolution. But patriot leaders must understand that the Constitution cannot become a one-way street or a suicide pact.

We want to preserve constitutional order. We have no obligation to preserve the usurpations of the other side. Nor must we “amend the Constitution” to reverse decades of unconstitutional laws, policies, and court opinions.

Immigration offers the clearest example. The only reason we have so many illegal aliens is that the government has violated the immigration laws passed by Congress. Much third-world legal immigration also arose from visa-program abuses not pursuant to law.

The federal government does not get to violate state sovereignty and then insist that states cannot enforce their sovereignty. Strong red states should reclaim control over immigration, remove illegal aliens, and bar employment in visa categories that have been abused, including H-1B.

The same principle applies to the ravaging of red-state lands. Corporate takeovers of farms and ranches through wind, solar, and data centers exist because of government favors. Although conservatives generally oppose heavy-handed regulation, states have a right of self-defense and may use regulatory power to stop takeovers created by government distortion.

The Constitution cannot be treated as strong enough to prevent us from rectifying grievances but too weak to stop the violations that created them.

Where is our modern ‘Common Sense’?

How do we fortify elected officials with the composure and courage to interpose and protect red-state economies, cultures, and quality of life?

We cannot expect one or two courageous leaders to go out on a limb without support from the people. Contrary to the right’s obsession with celebrity saviors, Hillary Clinton was partly correct: It takes a village.

During the Revolution, Thomas Paine’s “Common Sense” and the Boston Gazette helped galvanize colonists into a revolutionary mindset. They helped the people support local patriots over the British.

Where is our Thomas Paine?

The good news is that the internet allows almost anyone to become one. National politics is saturated with commentary, much of it empty calories. But an ordinary patriot can gain prominence locally by doggedly covering state and local issues and officials.

In less populous parts of the country, focused media attention on wayward local officials and praise for patriotic initiatives can build support for the institutional and party changes we need to party in 2026 like it’s 1776.

The public must be activated to treat every day like Election Day. We need a permanent activist class, akin to the Sons of Liberty, willing to create political kill zones for anti-American policies in red America.

We have more guns than ever and fewer liberties than ever.

Day after day, pressure must champion social and economic policies aligned with our founding principles and root out leaders who betray them.

Benjamin Rush understood the power of media. A newspaper in the present crisis, he wrote, would be “equal to at least two regiments.”

Today, we need high-quality, hyper-focused patriot media to awaken red America. Our mission must be to evangelize those who already claim to be patriots but remain passive on the sidelines — and turn them into active reformers.

Preaching to the choir is exactly what we need, so long as it produces revolutionary-minded activism rather than the political fentanyl ravaging conservative media.

Declare independence from federal subsidies

True fortitude requires declaring independence from an abusive relationship. The greatest reason red-state politicians and policies fail to reflect their majority culture is that state governments are addicted to federal funds.

The most dangerous place in government is between a Republican politician and his federal grant.

Whether the issue is Medicaid, education, energy, or environmental grants, follow the money if you want to understand why liberal policies such as solar and wind land-grabs are pervasive across red America despite public opposition.

The people and their leaders must say no to federal funds as fiercely as they say no to unconstitutional mandates and rogue judicial rulings.

You cannot achieve political independence without severing the financial ties that bind you to the mother ship. You cannot enjoy independence from the queen bee’s stinger if you crave dependence on its honey.

Make militias great again

Many conservative Baby Boomers boast that their arsenals of expensive pistols and AR rifles will neutralize tyranny. Yet we have more guns than ever and fewer liberties than ever.

I am not disparaging the Second Amendment. But in its current individualized application, it no longer functions as “the true palladium of liberty,” as St. George Tucker described.

Even a small local law enforcement agency has more firepower, surveillance capacity, and legal authority than any individual citizen can realistically confront. Ask January 6 defendants who did little more than walk into a public building after barriers were removed. Despite whatever firearms they owned at home, they were dragged out by FBI SWAT teams. No one was there to help.

We should not ignore the Second Amendment. We must rediscover its forgotten clause.

Because we spent decades convincing the legal system that self-defense is an individual right — not solely the right of a state-sanctioned militia — we forgot the importance of the militia clause itself.

It is time to make militias great again.

Not ragtag armed hobbyists in the woods, easily infiltrated by federal agents. Rather, as part of red-state and county interposition, we must bring the militia under color of law.

Former Pinal County, Arizona, Sheriff Mark Lamb had the right idea with a pilot “citizens’ posse” to train local patriots as adjuncts to deputies. Ostensibly, the purpose was to protect the community against anarchy and natural disasters. But it also buttresses the doctrine of the lesser magistrate.

By syncing local officials, law enforcement, and the populace under a common cause, the community builds a legally sanctioned shield against tyranny.

If federal or state government installs unconstitutional surveillance cameras, a local militia backed by law enforcement could protect citizens who dismantle them and enforce local laws against such intrusions.

If a future Democrat president deploys the FBI to arrest political opponents for speech or beliefs, a local militia operating under the sheriff and county officials could ensure that the FBI is not welcome.

Democrats effectively did this in Minneapolis against ICE, uniting citizen groups, local law enforcement, judges, and elected officials against a legitimate federal power. Why should we shy away from using the same unified prescription to protect fundamental American rights against illegitimate federal power?

Make Exodus 18:21 leadership great again

Leaders who cheat on spouses and families will not remain loyal to constituents. Nor will God bless a morally bankrupt movement with success.

Over the past decade, the alleged patriot right has become saturated with figures who espouse biblical virtue on camera while privately living lives often more debauched than those of the secular left. I have lost track of how many Republican officials, candidates, and influencers have engaged in rampant fornication — and even paid for concubines to get abortions.

Part of the reason we are losing ground on cultural issues is that centrist suburban voters look at the GOP, see through the artificial posturing, and recognize that the private behavior of these leaders contradicts the family and biblical values they preach.

The founders were not perfect men. Neither were their movements free from sin. But we must at least return to a standard that seeks virtuous leaders.

Exodus 18:21 tells us to choose “capable men ... who fear God, trustworthy men who hate dishonest gain.”

John Adams understood this. “Public Virtue cannot exist in a Nation without private [virtue].”

Consider our issues today: free and fair markets, sovereignty, ordered liberty, security from crime and Islam, medical freedom, techno-feudalism, life, marriage, privacy. All the special-interest money stands on the other side. Every political temptation will break conservative promises unless leaders have virtue.

Electing transactional fornicators is the surest path to enacting tyranny under the banner of patriotism.

The status quo is not an option. If we fail to innovate aggressively and reconstitute the spirit of the American Revolution in a way that morally and practically confronts today’s tyranny, the remaining options will be dark enough to make the French Revolution look mild.

Let’s choose light, and do it on our own terms, as the founders did.

Our lives, fortunes, and sacred honor must mean something again.

Dear Patriot,

How tragic that at the time we’re celebrating 250 years of self-government, the unelected branch of government is asserting that any invader can break into the country and steal citizenship for their children.

Then again, the travesty is not so much the court decision but the response from the president and Congress. Courts have no authority to issue passports and birth certificates. If we had any representation, Congress would be in session over July 4 to reassert governance by the consent of the governed, and they would pass a budget reconciliation bill prohibiting funding for the issuance of citizenship documents to illegal alien children. Moreover, they would prohibit funding for any federal judicial review of a case concerning such denial.

Sadly, 250 years later, we are more disenfranchised by the Democrats and Republicans (sorry to repeat myself) than we were by King George. Social transformation without representation is infinitely more devastating than taxation without representation. Where are our Sons of Liberty and Committees of Correspondence?

I hope to send out another email in honor of the great birthday with my manifesto on the 250^th anniversary and how we can possibly recapture the spirit of the revolution.

For now, here is my stack of stuff:

Culture

- America’s population of under-18s fell by 1.8 million between 2020 and 2025: New Census data show that the child population between 2020 and 2025 fell by 2.4% nationally, with the sharpest decline in the West (5.7%). This is the death of a civilization that has essentially become gay and debauched. The only region that increased its children was the South. I’d love to chalk this up to the South being more conservative and conservatives fleeing the Northeast to the South; however, the data show that only big metro areas in the South increased while rural areas declined. This tells me that at least part of the growth is likely driven by immigration.

Technocracy

-5 Florida counties and one city vote for data center moratorium last week: This brings the total number of counties in Florida banning data centers up to 10.

-Two Box Elder County, Utah commissioners defeated because of data center: Remember the largest ever data center project that was approved by the Box Elder County Council? Well, two of the commissioners were unseated because of that decision. This comes the same night the Utah Senate president was unseated because of his involvement in the project.

-Roanoke City, VA to remove 30 Flock cameras erroneously placed: Just how careless have cities been in deploying Flock cameras with federal grants? Roanoke residents protested after 30 of the 41 Flock cameras were deployed in the wrong places, many of them right near people’s houses.

-Why the LLM hallucination problem is much worse than you think: A recent academic paper shows that hallucination of LLMs is rampant even when you confine its analysis to source documents that you provide it in a chatbot. A recent paper analyzed the performance of 35 open-weight models in over 172 billion tokens of evaluation when prompted with questions based on provided documents. They found a normal best-case rate of hallucination was around 5%- 7%, while the middle models fabricated about 25% of answers. Longer context documents worth over 200k in tokens resulted in the tripling of the hallucination rate. So we all know one of the most common uses of generative AI in companies is to create answers based on summarizing long documents, and even then the error rate is often too high to rely upon, depending on what you are doing.

-AI companies overcharging customers: So even that little revenue these companies are getting is from fraud. A new audit found that customers are being billed for subscriptions they never updated.

-Companies rethinking AI-related firings: A Careerminds survey of 600 HR professionals who’d made layoffs in the previous 12 months revealed that 9 out of 10 companies would rethink their AI-related terminations. Also, only 8.4 percent of the survey pool said AI delivered the promised results. This is an amazing Epoch Times article showing how generative AI cannot be treated as an endpoint because it will never replace human judgement.

Relatedly, Ford rehired 300 engineers they terminated because AI failed to deliver on detecting problems in quality control checks. But Poon told reporters on Wednesday the firm’s AI-driven checks had failed to live up to expectations.

“Mistakenly, we thought that by just introducing artificial intelligence and ingesting the design requirements that we had, that would produce a high-quality product,” he said.

Poon reportedly pointed to automated tools lacking the training and expertise of veteran technicians - many of whom he said had left the company before their knowledge could be used to improve its tech.”

-Hyperscalers shying away from Florida: This is what leadership looks like. What happens when Florida is the only state with a governor willing to fight the land grab? Well, it’s the only major state from which Big Tech is shying away. The only reason the door isn’t completely shut is because the legislature watered down the governor’s bill on data centers.

-Big Tech company sues tiny town that doesn’t want data centers: This is where it becomes clear this is about a land grab. The Urabana, Ohio, city council voted to deny zoning for data centers, including one from Thor Equities that would have used eight times the electricity that this town of 11k uses. Now they are suing the town over its zoning. If their project is so amazing, then why do they have to sue? It’s Urbana’s loss, and let them move on to the next town. Yet, they will batter us into submission because this is every bit as much of a cultural agenda as it is economic.

-Michigan data center being built with illegal alien labor: Did I tell you, or what?! International Union of Operating Engineers Local 150 has raised concerns that a Michigan City data center is being built with labor that includes illegal alien roofers!

-Blackstone selling three of its data centers in Virginia: If this was such an auspicious proposition, why would they be selling now? In reality, this is all a speculative bubble whereby the ones who initially buy these things will not be there later on because this is all about financializing the here and now of an asset to juice up stock valuations.

Economy

-AI spending responsible for 75% of Q1 GDP growth: None of this is productive or revenue-driven, but remember when you go into debt to spend to build data centers, it officially adds to GDP. This is how they make it too big to fail and threaten us with a recession if we pull the plug on the grift. The thing is we have never re-emerged from the recession in 2020.

-OpenAI proposes 5% government stake in the company: And there you have it. Altman knows that Trump is a sucker for such deals. Once the government is invested in his failed government, they will bend every policy towards his convoluted business model that would fail in a real market.

States

-SC House voted 58-37 to kill Ivermectin bill: Fresh off winning their primaries, a number of Republicans who previously supported ivermectin being sold over-the-counter voted to kill a bill making it legal. Several dozen Republicans, including the majority leader, worked with Dems to kill the bill.

-Ohio gov vetoes bill requiring photo ID for mail-in ballots: Gov. DeWine unexpectedly vetoed a consensus bill to require photo ID when voting by mail. Never forget how unpopular he was in 2022 when Trump threw him a lifeline by endorsing him in the primary. Now he saddled Ohio with Vivek.

-20 South Dakota windmills destroyed: Republicans in South Dakota have embraced wind dystopia to destroy the landscape even more than the left. Now, it can’t even utilize strong wind. 20 of 27 turbines in Highmore were destroyed by a windstorm. This is a Republican+55 county colonized by the green grift.

Elections

- Axios: Democrats’ Tea Party-like rebellion built by a decade of frustration: Consider the fact that we can’t rub three nickels together to get conservatives elected in the supposed conservative party, even though the incumbents do not share our values on most issues. Also, we were the ones who plowed the ground of the Tea Party 17 years ago, yet we’ve gone backwards. Contrast that to the left, as reported by Axios, and they are now invoking the lessons of the Tea Party and are successfully defeating their incumbents, despite the fact that their incumbents genuinely believe in the party’s values but are just perceived as slightly too establishment-oriented.

“Dan Pfeiffer, a former top aide to Barack Obama and now co-host of “Pod Save America,” said this week: “It is very clear that the groups of the left — Justice Democrats, Democratic Socialists of America, Our Revolution — are out-organizing, out-fundraising, out-working, out-maneuvering the traditional party institutions ... That is happening.”

“Rabb told Axios there are lessons that new progressive lawmakers can learn from the House Freedom Caucus, the rabble-rousing group of Republicans that rose out of the Tea Party in 2015 and pushed the GOP to the right.”

So Democrats are willing to learn from the Freedom Caucus while Trump has destroyed it on the right.

Trump administration

-Trump‘s and Lutnick‘s sons have been involved in 14 rare mineral deals financed by $8.9 billion in taxpayer money: It’s OK for conservatives to finally be intellectually honest and recognize that the degree of corruption with foreign deals for Trump’s family surpasses anything we’ve seen in history. And it’s not even like those deals are leading to right-wing outcomes. Just the opposite: they are being used by third world and Arab countries to leverage policies that weaken America for the benefit of Trump’s family. Others on the right are scared to talk about this, but just because it’s picked up in the NYT doesn’t mean it’s not happening.

Trump just signed off on $1.6 billion in financing for a little-known company, Kaz Resources, to mine tungsten in Kazakhstan. In what has become a pattern with so many of these foreign investment deals negotiated at the statecraft level, within weeks of the negotiations with Kazakhstan, investors with a firm called Dominari Securities took a 20% share in this project. Dominari is housed at Trump Tower in New York and is partly owned by…Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump.

My prediction is that rather than focusing directly or initially on impeachment, a Democrat House majority will focus on the drip-drip of the Trump family investments affecting foreign policy and being financed by the taxpayer.

-Trump earned $1.4 billion off crypto and token coins: Trump’s disclosure forms for his 2025 income were just released, and they show his annual income went from $600 million in 2024 to $2.2 billion in 2025, after becoming president. Thus, nearly his entire increase came from the $1.4 billion in income from crypto and token coins. That is his presidency in a nutshell. If you want to know why the priorities were so skewed, that is the rosetta stone. Oh, and none of this will show what his children earned, which is obviously exponentially more.

Between the GOP Congress passing a Section 8 housing bill supported by 100% of Democrats, and the Trump administration siding with Pakistan, Qatar, and Turkey against Israel, it’s been quite the week in politics. We are completely disenfranchised and are in need of some serious innovating thinking to honor the 250^th anniversary of our founding.

In the coming days, I will continue to show you how simply voting generic Republican in a general election is not merely an insufficient solution, but is the very reason we continue to go backwards on policy. I will address this more on today’s show [watch the video version here]

For now, here are some of the big stories I’m focused on to close out this week.

Technocracy

-FERC orders grid operators to connect data centers in an expedited fashion: FERC members voted unanimously to direct six regional grid operators to ensure that AI data centers and other large power users are “able to connect to the transmission system in a timely and orderly manner.” So there is no understanding about the feasibility of doubling our load in some areas after we’ve already witnessed reliability problems with the vacillation of power usage. The big players get whatever they want.

- Evidence suggests that AI-driven ‘deskilling’ is starting to happen in medicine, computer science and other fields: From Nature: “A study of physicians in Poland who specialize in endoscopy — the use of flexible probes to examine the inside of the human body — shows how quickly AI tools can erode human abilities. The physicians, who had all performed at least 2,000 colonoscopies during their careers, were given access to an AI system that analyses colonoscopy images in real time and flags a type of precancerous intestinal lesion called an adenoma. The tool was available to the specialists on some days but not on others.

Once physicians began using it, their performance dropped significantly whenever the system was unavailable. During the three-month period before the AI tool was introduced, the specialists found at least one adenoma during 28.4% of colonoscopies. During the three-month period after the tool was introduced, the adenoma detection rate for colonoscopies performed without AI assistance decreased to 22.4%.”

As I’ve said before, it’s one thing to replace human clothes washers with washing machines. We can all forget how to wash clothes because a washing machine can fully replace that manual task. But generative AI creators are gaslighting a generation into believing that these things are more than just an adjunct tool but an endpoint for all cognitive abilities (not just physical tasks). So we will suffer cognitive decline and de-skilling associated with relying on chatbots but without fully benefiting from a 100% effective replacement.

-Annual depreciation of data center hardware topping $119 billion for top four companies: We’ve talked a lot about the unfathomable cost of the data center buildout, but let’s not forget this is not a one-time cost. It turns out that because these servers depreciate after a few years, the top four companies are already spending $119 billion a year on maintenance. That number will go up exponentially if they actually built everything they are proposing.

-How data centers buy off local officials with secrecy: This article mainly focuses on Oklahoma, but this is happening everywhere. It’s a case study in how the tech companies come to a town, buy off local officials with secrecy, and then ensure that the wheels are already grinding once the people find out about it so they can’t mobilize opposition.

-Data center developer demands access to 260 million gallons of drought-stricken Colorado River: This is a glimpse into what to expect from vacuous promises that “closed-loop” systems will not use any water. A Huntington Beach, CA, company named Imperial Valley Computer Manufacturing (IVCM) is trying to build a data center whereby they promise not to use “one drop of water.” Now, IVCM filed a lawsuit against the Imperial Irrigation District in order to access 260 million gallons of river water every year.

-Waymo recalls 4,000 robo taxis: “Waymo is recalling nearly 4,000 robotaxis after its vehicles repeatedly failed to recognize freeway construction zones, in some cases driving past closure signs or between cones marking closed lanes.” Look, I’m not opposed to ever deploying these technologies, but I just feel like with everything else, the free market has been gutted in a way that the technocracy stuff is taking root unnaturally in a way that avoids the typical trial and error of a free market. We are seeing every day that these things are not quite ready for prime time.

-Trump signs executive order promoting quantum computing: Putting aside the vacuous nature of these EOs, this is an admission that quantum, not LLMs, is the future of technology. So why does Trump continue to orient our entire economy towards data centers? Also, quantum spells doom for crypto, which is his biggest obsession.

- AI chatbots like ChatGPT-5.5 and DeepSeek V4 Pro were found to heavily favor left-leaning answers: In what should come as no surprise to anyone following OpenAI, GPT 5.5 was found to harbor an 80% left-wing bias to political questions.

-Cheyenne City Council votes to annex 3,500 acres for a data center: As we seem to make advances against data centers throughout the country, Wyoming continues to be the toughest nut to crack. In the ultimate paradox, Wyoming is the most Republican state. This proves my thesis that a one-party rule under fake Republicans is actually worse for us than divided government with better Republicans.

Elections

-Dismal turnout in Oklahoma: What happens when the GOP fails to inspire voters? There are over 300k more registered Republicans in Oklahoma than there were in 2018. Yet, fewer people voted in the primaries, even though there was an incredibly expensive and competitive governor’s race and many open seats because of the trickle-down effect of Trump appointing Sen. Markwayne Mullin as DHS Secretary.

-Dems crushing in North Carolina: Of all the recently dubbed swing states, North Carolina has been the reddest. Trump won it all three times, and even Mitt Romney carried it when he lost every other state. Yet, a new poll has the Democrat candidate for Senate, Roy Cooper, not only flipping a GOP seat but winning it by 14. The same poll also has Democrats leading by six in the generic ballot and by five in the supreme court race.

Trump administration

-$33 million from ‘Addiction Inc.” given to MAGA inc.: Our friends at Smart Approaches to Marijuana tracked several donors to MAGA world from marijuana, tobacco, gambling & psychedelics interests — and it added up to $33.7 million. Then they track what each one got in return. This is all you need to know about what makes this man and his admin tick.

- The FDA’s vaccine advisory panel voted unanimously to approve Moderna’s mRNA flu shot for adults aged 50 and older: Some things never change.

-Trump admin intends to pressure Congress to allow E15 to be sold year-round: In another episode of perverse priorities, the Trump administration is pressuring Congress to jam more ethanol into our pumps in order to pay off his donors. Of course, no mention of repealing the blending mandate that got this industry off the ground in 2006 to begin with.

Culture

-ER visits increase for cannabis users: CBS reports that people are now coming to ERs with uncontrollable nausea and vomiting, known as cannabinoid hyperemesis syndrome. Hospitals are attesting to seeing this in areas with legalized marijuana. Look for so many more medical symptoms to arise from pot generation.

Immigration

-Ringleader of terror attack targeting White House UFC event was DACA recipient: It turns out the man who led the attempted attack was an illegal granted DACA amnesty by Obama in 2014.

States

- Five states restrict law enforcement presence at polling sites and limit federal access to voter rolls and voting machines: Everything red states won’t do to interpose against federal tyranny; blue states will have the guts to do. California, Colorado, Connecticut, Maryland, and Washington recently passed laws restricting Trump administration access to voter rolls and federal law enforcement at polling sites. While red states throw their hands up and say there is nothing they can do about immigration policy, blue states always stand for their prerogatives.

-Indiana GOP convention sponsored by wind and solar: Follow the money. If you want to know why GOP supermajorities over the past generation have turned Indiana into a parking lot for wind and solar, look no further than those entities sponsoring the annual GOP convention.

-How the Utah Senate president lost his primary: It was all about his support for data centers.

Economy

-Less than half of Americans could afford medical expenses and access to quality care last year: According to a new Gallup poll, just 49% attested to being able to afford health care last year, one-third of households earning between $120,000 and $179,999 a year, and one-fifth of those making at least $180,000. This is a decade into Obamacare with 80 million people also on Medicaid. So after bankrupting ourselves with debt-driven inflation, primarily caused by health care spending, more than half of the people still can’t afford it. Yet, Republicans have zero vision on the issue.

- Job cuts at factories ran near highest levels since the end of the GFC: According to S&P Global, job cuts at U.S. factories ran near their highest levels since the end of the global financial crisis in 2009 and COVID in 2020. So after all the tariffs and all the data center “construction,” this is what we have to show for it.

-There’s a 10-month supply of new housing: Contrary to those pushing overdevelopment under the lie of a supply problem, there is actually a 10-month supply of new homes, which is above average. Prices for existing homes are now higher than new homes, which is a dead giveaway that it’s an interest rate trap that is creating the crisis, not a supply problem.

Drugs

-DEA reportedly allowed hundreds of thousands of fentanyl pills to enter the country: In what appears to be eerily similar to the Fast and Furious scandal with guns from Mexico, DEA whistleblowers are accusing the agency of allowing hundreds of thousands of pills to hit the streets in order to land bigger convictions. Once again, we must ask: what is the purpose of these agencies?

Foreign Policy

- Jared Kushner’s private equity firm is actively seeking to raise $5 billion from Middle Eastern sovereign wealth funds: If you want to know why Trump refused to win the war against Iran and why he sold out Israel, it’s not really about JD Vance, groypers, or anything ideological. It all has to do with protecting the Qatari business dealings.

Meanwhile, Maggie Haberman writes in her new book how Jared Kushner already turned on Israel at the beginning of the term when he negotiated the terrible hostage deal and literally handed his laptop to the terrorist leader of Qatar to edit his plan. Now, normally I wouldn’t believe the word of Haberman, but it is Trump who gave her unfettered access to his operation for years to serve as a stenographer. Plus, everything they have been doing with Qatar since then jives with her story.

This would explain everything we’ve been witnessing with this administration giving Iran more than what they started the war with and also pressuring Israel not to destroy Hezbollah in Lebanon.

-Trump all in on selling F-35s to Turkey: Trump once again praised Erdogen and promised to deliver them more weaponry.

Most citizens and politicians suffer from political amnesia and can’t remember political events from the previous month. Trump is counting on this political amnesia with his impending Iran surrender. He believes that by surrendering to Iran, we can somehow fix our economy. Except, our economy was horrible long before the aimless Iran war. We will still suffer all of the liabilities of the war without reaping any of the benefits.

Meanwhile, as the stories below show, we continue to head in a horrible direction within the GOP, the electoral prognosis, and the economy. I’d love to gather a group of patriots for July 4 to strategize together about our future, but that first requires letting go of the current white pill in Trump and the GOP.

Elections

-Dem group to spend $50 million in rural districts: Democrats leave no stone unturned. In case the election turns into a wave, they want to make sure they invest in Republican districts so they can maximize their potential. They have $50 million to spend on red districts, which is a lot more than conservatives have to spend even in our home territory.

-Emerson with unfathomable Dem lead: We all know how maga inc. loved Emerson the past few election cycles. Well, they have Democrats leading on the generic ballot by 50%-40%, and here’s the shocker: they have Dems up 4 among men! That has never happened before.

-Trump losing support in rural America: We all know that Trump has been enormously popular in rural America over the past decade. Trump won rural America by 2-1 in 2024. He still had a 61% approval from those voters as late as October 2025. Now, a Reuters-Ipsos poll has him at 50% approval and 48% disapproval among rural voters. His approval is, of course, just 35% in the suburbs. This is a recipe for a disaster in November.

Meanwhile, a Civiqs poll has Trump at just 30% approval and 63% disapproval in the suburbs. Again, you can talk about voter fraud all you want, but no amount of election integrity changes will allow Republicans to win an election in this environment.

Technocracy

-Republican House member introduces bill to treat data centers as critical infrastructure: “Republican Tennessee Rep. Matt Van Epps unveiled a House version of Sen. Tom Cotton’s Critical Infrastructure Airspace Defense Act Tuesday, which aims to shield hospitals, power plants, water treatment sites, and dams from potential drone attacks. The bill would make grants available to private companies to purchase government-approved anti-drone technologies and could even extend to data centers.” Well, you know the country that is most targeted by drone strikes? Israel! And they don’t have any hyperscale data centers yet are the most high-tech country in the world.

- The Seattle City Council has unanimously passed a 1-year moratorium on data centers: The legislation makes Seattle the largest U.S. city to pass such a ban amid the generative AI boom. To be fair, they are not really targeting urban areas anyway, but this is significant because Seattle is the home of Microsoft.

-How chatbots choke on their own slop and get worse over time: “Here is the mechanism in one sentence. AI trained on AI-generated data gets dumber every generation until it forgets what real human data looked like. “The internet is filling with AI-generated content.” Here is a great summary of an Oxford report on how over time, as the entire internet becomes AI, it is forgetting human creativity, recycling and retraining on its own miserable slop, and getting the entire world to focus on its narrow purview and even terminology that pushes humanity backwards, not forwards. This is what happens when government backstops an unnatural and unsustainable model and when AI is used as an outcome and agenda rather than a mere tool.

-Google said it used 2.5 billion gallons of water for its data centers last year: This amount would supply nearly 8.3 million average Americans with enough water to meet their daily needs for an entire year. They claim it recirculates, but is that a good thing? Do you really want that water recirculated, and do you trust we’ve vetted the health effects?

-Ohio Farm Bureau warns of efforts to use eminent domain for data centers against farmers: The Ohio Business Roundtable is pushing new legislation in Ohio, which is already over-saturated with data centers, to allow for eminent domain by calling it critical energy infrastructure. And they want to do this without paying farmers up front. This is similar to what Georgia Power is already doing in east-central Georgia.

-Electricity prices reach record high: Among the highest spikes in the CPI was household electricity, which is up 5.9% this year. Unlike motor fuel, electricity is not really affected by the oil crisis in the Middle East. I think we all know what is driving it.

- Meta Moves to Curb Employee AI Usage as AI Costs Reach Billions: So Meta goes into debt to fund a convoluted business model of delivering generative AI tokens. It’s so expensive that their own company can’t afford to use it, and they begin to tell employees to cut back! And this is a Mag 7 company. You can imagine how insolvent this is for the smaller players.

-Ohio Republicans decline to repeal $2 billion tax break for data centers: After the embarrassing revelation that data centers are getting $2 billion in tax breaks per year, Ohio Republicans promised to repeal the tax breaks. Well, the relevant committee adjourned until November for the last time without taking any action. Remember, their proposal would have only reduced the abatement prospectively, yet it’s clear that the industry so badly needs it to function that they lobbied against the bill.

-Virginia under threat of gov’t shutdown over data centers: Remember when Gov. Spanberger promised to ensure data centers pay their fair share? Well, the minute she got into power, she was bought out by the industry. She and her allies in the Virginia House are now in a fight with the Virginia Senate over reducing the tax breaks for data centers, and the impasse is threatening a shutdown. The only thing she did on the issue was create a blue-ribbon panel stocked with industry people.

- More than 200 data centers are going up in dozens of competitive House districts: Politico conducted an analysis of proposed data centers and found that hundreds of them are planned for the most contested districts. Of all the Republicans they surveyed in those races, none of them had a proper perspective on the issue. They will support Big Tech at their own peril. As one GOP consultant candidly said, “Politically, it’s not a very smart move to come out and be seen as too close to big tech or doing the bidding of big tech, but a lot of the money is flying to them through that.”

-Numerous TN localities planning data center ban: Coffee County, TN, and the city of McMinnville in Warren County, Tennessee, have just passed an 18-month data center moratorium. The entire Warren County, Knox County, and Nashville are in the process of debating some version of the moratorium. Again, this is bipartisan. Trump won Coffee County by a 55-point margin and Warren County by 56 points.

-Amazing piece on balancing growth with preserving our land and tradition: Very thoughtful piece from a Liberty University student on reclaiming conservation from the Left. “Land, farmland, clean water, local control, and the right of a community to defend its own future are not left-wing issues. They are conservative issues, and they always have been. Theodore Roosevelt knew that. Rural Americans know it instinctively, even if national politicians often forget it. You cannot claim to love a country while being indifferent to the destruction of the places, people, and landscapes that make it home.”

Trump Administration

-Trump trying to trade online safety bill for state preemption on AI: In order to lure conservatives into supporting the Trump plan to preempt all state laws pertaining to AI and data centers, the White House wants to attach said provision to an online safety bill regulating chatbots for children. Here’s the thing: We don’t need a federal online safety bill. Leave it alone, and leave it all to the states. Don’t come in with your superfluous, fake, and unnecessary regulatory bill and then give Big Tech the ultimate handout on what actually matters.

- Trump inc. added at least $2.3 billion to the family fortune from their main crypto ventures: Meanwhile, other investors sucked into the pump and dump scheme lost about $2.3 billion. Everyone is focused on congressional insider trading, but nobody in Congress reaches the toes of what Trump is doing using his office and public statements to manipulate markets with the foreknowledge of how that will affect his own investments. I’m sorry, but as much as we hate Democrats, no amount of “but the Democrats” can ameliorate this pig.

States

-Wyoming gov’t refuses to implement property tax cut: In 2024, the Wyoming legislature passed modest tax relief, capping property tax increases to 4% annually. In comes Gov. Mark Gordon’s State Equalization Board and instructs counties to disobey the law because of their convoluted reading of the state’s constitution. You have to marvel at liberals who run the reddest states and their willingness to ignore laws they deem unconstitutional, yet we can never find the same thing on the other side.

Foreign policy

-South Korea essentially kidnaps former Trump ambassador: Former U.S. Ambassador-at-Large Morse Tan went to South Korea to monitor the election. The current leftist government, which in itself is a concerning trend, placed him under a travel ban, essentially keeping him locked in the country. The fact that a country for whom we offer so much protection feels like they can screw with us demonstrates how foreign intelligence services understand that Trump doesn’t care about American pride as long as his financial needs are serviced. This is similar to the Guinean government that captured two American civilian pilots just before New Years. While they were let out of prison after a few months of torture, they still remain under house arrest and can’t leave the country.

Economy

-Labor force crisis: The total number of people not in the labor force but still seeking employment rose by 76k, topping out at 6.2 million. That number has increased by 1.2 million over the past two years and has now exceeded the levels during the GFC. At its core, this should have been the primary focus of the administration. This represents the rotting out of the American soul. Yet, instead they want more foreign students and foreign workers.

-EV sales plummet: In 2024, it was predicted that by 2030, 48% of car sales in this country would be EVs. Last year, that projection plummeted to 27%, and this year it’s down to 18%. This is the power of an industry completely built upon government favors. I think we all know that if the subsidies don’t return, that number will be much lower than 18%. The same principle applies to data centers.

- Stock market value: 250% of GDP. Housing value: 146% of GDP: That in a nutshell explains our artificial economy, which is not natural or free market. At 250% of GDP, the stock market valuation is by far the highest it’s ever been relative to the size of the economy. At 146% of GDP, housing is only slightly lower than in the 2006 bubble, but when coupled with the market valuation and inflation, the pricing together is unprecedented. So if you combine the two, per this twitter thread, you get 397% of GDP as compared to 285% of GDP in 2006. The post-WWII average of both is 166%.

Absent the government’s unnatural fiscal, monetary, and regulatory capture policy, we’d have an affordable society with numerous options for consumers and jobseekers. Yes, the stock market would not be as high, and yes, housing would not be a store of value for wealthy baby boomers. The trade-off would be worthwhile.

-Fitch downgrades US economy to deteriorating: In its mid-year analysis, Fitch revised the outlooks for U.S. Homebuilders, North American Building Products, U.S. Packaged Foods, Global Airlines, North American Utilities and Power and North American Finance and Leasing Companies to ‘deteriorating’ from ‘neutral’. This is what happens when you steer capital away from what works to data center capex during a time of crushing inflation and debt.

This week, we learned that the entire generation of Indian visas for “high-skilled” workers was a scam. Then again, we’ve all known that for years while the Republican Party dogmatically maintained its support for the program.

Fast-forward to today, and data centers are the new H-1B scam to fundamentally transform our lives. They took our jobs, now they are taking our land. And yet, I’m finding less than 5% of Republican officials willing to fight this issue. They are always heroes on yesterday’s issue that is no longer in contention, but they are zeroes on the issue that matters before us.

Technocracy

-Microsoft is now using its technology to limit your access to Office on Mac even AFTER you purchased a permanent license: Imagine Ford sending guys to take your car away after it was paid off because they want you to rent a new one? This is outright theft and should be challenged by state AGs. Of course, the feds won’t do anything.

-Anthropic begging lenders to buy their debt but won’t share financial information: Anthropic refuses to open its book to show its solvency in terms of debt to revenue and cash flow, but they are begging people to buy their debt! Keep in mind that AI now accounts for 15% of all corporate bonds issued and is projected to surpass all global military spending. None of this is anywhere close to being solvent.

-Altman admits token costs too high: In a moment of candor, Sam Altman admitted that companies are spending a fortune on tokens for generative AI use. Reading between the lines, everyone should realize that the data center, cloud-based model is completely unsustainable as a business model.

-Software engineer uses Raspberry Pi and ABS-B radio to create real-time airport tracker: So what is the solution to AI? Edge computing that can be done locally on something like a Raspberry Pi. “Living near an airport isn’t for everyone. But for some, like software engineer Cameron Paczek, the unique environment offers inspiration for very unique projects. Paczek’s latest creation, Skylight, harnesses the power of a Raspberry Pi 5, a radio antenna, and a projector to listen for aircraft signals as planes pass over your house and then instantly projects their real-time paths across your ceiling exactly as you hear them soaring above.

What makes Skylight extraordinary is that it uses its own data collection method rather than simply pulling data from flight-tracking services like Flightradar24. The project leverages an affordable USB radio antenna, in this case the RTL-SDR Blog V4, to capture ADS-B (Automatic Dependent Surveillance–Broadcast) signals emitted by commercial planes, then uses a Raspberry Pi 5 to decode and render them.

-BCA warns Fed fueling AI bubble with artificially low interest rates: BCA research warns that by refusing to keep interest rates in pace with inflation, the Fed is artificially propping up the AI bubble, which in itself is inflationary. “AI is currently raising prices for everything from electricity to memory chips,” Berezin wrote, adding that a soaring stock market has encouraged households to spend more, adding further inflationary pressure.”

-Two Amazon data centers under construction in Jerome Township, Ohio, have made 84 calls to firefighters: This is an old story from last year, but I bring it up because one of my show guests warned that fires are going to increasingly break out at these facilities and overwhelm fire services that are designed for tiny rural population. As the Columbus Dispatch reported last year, two Amazon data centers under construction in Jerome Township, Ohio, have made 84 calls to firefighters since the projects were approved in 2021, averaging two calls per month that necessitated lights and sirens. These facilities are far from the largest ones being built and are not even fully operational. This will be the new “died suddenly,” just like we saw with EVs and anything else that is unnaturally gaslit into existence by the government.

-RINO Indiana mayor shows elitist attitude towards data center opponents: We all knew that elected Republicans – even the local ones – hate their base. Shelbyville, Indiana, Mayor Scott Ferguson made it obvious. Here is a transcript of a recorded conversation from Ferguson: “I’ve seen a lot of these all over town, but I only see ‘em in sh***y houses with sh***y,” Ferguson was recorded commenting on “No AI data center” protest signs. Another person cut him off and corrected him, saying, “You see them in working class houses.” The mayor then continued, saying, “most of them are rentals.” Another off-camera speaker said, “It doesn’t matter whether they’re rentals, they’re still human beings.” To which he answered, “Yeah, I know, but they’re unkempt properties.” 2,000 people in this small town signed a petition opposing the data center that was recently approved.

-Arizona’s largest utility is proposing a 45% electricity-rate increase for data centers and a 14.5% hike for households: This is occurring exactly at the time Big Tech influencers look us in the eye and say there is a mythical pledge to not pass on costs to consumers. Oh, and anyone who complains about this wants China to win!

-Kevin O’Leary agrees to shrink Utah data center project…with a catch: After gaslighting the public that rural Americans are bought out by China and dismissing all their concerns about his proposed 40,000-acre, 10 GW data centers, Shark Tank investor Kevin O’Leary promised to scale back the Box Elder data center project. However, if you look carefully, his concessions appear likely to only concede things that would have never occurred anyway. We all know there is no way to construct a 10GW data center. Until last year, 100 MW facilities were unprecedented. You know what won’t be scaled back? The land grab.

-Verizon CEO claims AI will take over customer service and that it works better: CEO Dan Schulman said at Bloomberg Tech conference last week that AI is set to take over customer service. He claims that with AI pilot programs, the customer service satisfaction rate is 1,280 basis points better than the baseline with humans. Now, to be fair, Verizon’s Indiana-based customer service was among the worst in the world, so the bar is pretty low. However, everyone knows that chatbot customer service is maddeningly tedious and sends you in circles. A major Swedish company already tried to replace human customer service and had to rehire them because the chatbots are simply not in sync with human needs.

-VA man proposes selling entire neighborhood to data centers: The politicians gaslight us that somehow there are no harms to living near data centers. But in reality it is so untenable to live there that people can’t sell their homes to anyone else…but data centers! This is how they divide and conquer. Once they take over an area, they get the surrounding area to sell because it’s so miserable to live there.

-Microsoft tells its coders to stop using AI: This is rich with irony. They are buying all the land under the guise of needing it for AI as the way of the future, but then concede that the model is so insolvent that their own divisions can’t afford to use it! “Two developments shook things up this week. Microsoft— the company that poured about $13 billion into OpenAI (1) and writes up to 30% of its own code using generative AI — reportedly told engineers in a major division to stop using an AI coding tool because the bills got too big. And Uber’s chief technology officer said the company burned through its entire 2026 budget for Claude Code and Cursor in just four months, according to The Information.”

-Data centers and crypto mines failed Texas power grid test: A new ERCOT report from Texas reveals that the sheer magnitude of data center power consumption is not the only grid concern. The problem is that data centers experience huge fluctuations in their use, and they often have to disconnect to protect servers. That ‘jolt’ to the system in itself is harmful. ERCOT recently ran test run simulations for several data centers and crypto mines to connect and disconnect to the grid as needed. They found that each could trigger more than 5,000 megawatts of demand tripping under certain fault conditions, based on simulations of transmission system disturbances. They revealed that the test included eight projects totaling roughly 3.9 gigawatts aiming to start up before July 1!! That is the equivalent of several million-household use. Don’t hold your breath thinking this will halt the projects.

- Farmer donates land for a park, city sells it for data center development: In 1999, a dying farmer donated 87 acres of land to the town of Taylor, Texas for the stipulated purpose of using it for a community park. Now the town has sold it to a data center! How did they pull it off? In 2008, it was sold by the Williamson County Park Foundation to the Taylor Economic Development Corporation (TEDC) for a paltry $15,000. Well, you know exactly what state or county “economic development” agencies are all about. TEDC then sold it to a data center.

Culture

-Support for same-sex fake marriage among Republicans drops: This is what happens when you get mugged by reality. According to Gallup, 37% of GOP voters said same-sex marriages should be legal, down from 55% just five years ago. Independents’ approval dropped just six points in the same time, while Democrats’ support has held steady. This is why the Republican Party is working overtime to blunt the momentum and make the entire fight about saving female sports.

-Grizzley video of Somali trying to behead man in Belfast: Click on the link at your own risk, but just understand that this is what we are on pace for over the next 5-10 years unless something drastic is done with Muslim immigration.

Case in point? In Boise, Zkaria Mahmmd Al Majzoub, was just found guilty of kidnapping and raping a female passenger while driving for Lyft.

Meanwhile, Indiana governor criticizes lt. governor over Islam: Last week, Lt. Gov. Mica Beckwith called Islam a “demonic death cult.” Governor Mike Braun threw him under the bus, of course. This is a classic setup with Braun as the RINO leader and Beckwith as the conservative leader, Beckwith could challenge Braun in 2028. But guess who will stand in his way with an endorsement?

Elections

-Dems up GOP turnout in IA-2 by 10 points: Even with better-than-expected statewide GOP turnout in the Iowa primary (thanks to Zach Lahn), Democrats still beat Republicans 55%-45% in turnout for district 2 in the northeast. That is an open seat they will target with a GOP nominee who is socially liberal. Trump won the district by 10 points.

-Dems lost more than 275,000 registered voters in 28 swing House districts: A new NRCC analysis of 28 swing districts found that Democrats lost more than 275k registered voters in 27 of 28 swing districts they’ve been tracking since 2024. Republicans lost about 50k over the same period. Going back to 2020, Democrats have lost 737,000 voters in the same district! Republicans will still likely lose because they are getting crushed among independent voters. However, the morale of the story is that just because the public is sour on the GOP, it doesn’t mean the public is embracing Democrats. Now would be the perfect time for a new party.

Economy

- The tech industry has announced more than 123,000 cuts YTD: So far this year, tech sector layoffs have increased by more than 65% from the same period in 2025. Again, if generative AI is such a boom, you would be seeing a net job increase.

- US information technology employment has declined -11%, since November 2022: Since the rise of ChatGPT, the IT sector has lost over 300,000 jobs. This is not the sign of a burgeoning industry.

-New economic metrics show possible 50% increase in inflation Since COVID, 12% GDP drop: If you look at the official CPI number, it shows a 26% increase since COVID. Likewise, GDP numbers have gone up modestly. However, for most people the financial situation appears much worse. Jeffrey Tucker has written a long piece on the new Reality Index that uses different metrics from the government to show close to 50% inflation and a 12% GDP DROP since Covid. This makes a lot of sense given that over the same time, credit card balances have risen by 63%. Which one is closer to your reality?

Congress

-Dems promising to investigate Trump foreign deals when they win back Congress: Rep. Greg Meeks, D-N.Y., the party’s top House Foreign Affairs Committee member, told Semafor that overseas business decisions by Trump advisers Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff would be avenues for future investigation: “We are going to look at some of these deals that were done. And that’s what oversight is all about.” Those who call themselves conservatives will have to decide whether they want to spend the next two years defending what is clear corruption and not even conservative (selling out to Qatar and Saudi Arabia?) or whether we let Trump deal with his own problems while we forge ahead with a new movement focused on our prerogatives and without the Trump baggage.

Foreign Policy

-Trump admin considering giving frozen Iranian assets to rebuild Gulf Arab nations: Why is this administration constantly finding ways to give handouts to the Gulf Arab nations (yet, the fake right just wants to complain about Israel)? How about we give the frozen assets to military families who were killed in action over the years by Iranian aggression?

The reason why the data center fight is now the number one issue is because you cannot have a free society with the land ownership consolidated in the hands of the globalist Big Tech monopoly.

-Trump-endorsed RINOs get huge boost from AI super PACs: Leading the Future, a pro-AI data center group with a sizable war chest that is backed by industry executives, is pledging to spend $2 million in Senate races in Louisiana, Montana, and Oklahoma, with $1.5 million to be deployed immediately. They are supporting RINO Julia Letlow against John Fleming in the Louisiana Senate runoff. Fleming is siding with landowners. Leading the Future raised more than $125 million in 2025 and reported more than $70 million in the bank at the beginning of this year. It hauled in another $25 million during the first three months of this year.

-Hispanics turning from Trump, but hate Democrats: I’m going to continue highlighting multiple broad indicators that the public is going to punish the GOP and Trump in the fall, but at the same time there is no love for the Democrats. The UnidosUS survey of 3,000 registered Hispanic voters found just 27% of Hispanics plan to vote for a Republican House candidate. But at the same time, only 54% were committed to voting for Democrats – the exact share of support for Dems in 2024 – which was a winning year for Republicans. Now, obviously with no alternative, Democrats will wind up picking up most of the undecided vote, but what this tells you is that just like with young white voters, the lane is wide open for a new party on land, gold, privacy, quality of life, and sovereignty.

-Trump’s corrupt bargain to endorse Pam Evette in SC: We already knew that Trump agreed to endorse Henry McMaster’s lieutenant governor, Pam Evette, for governor next week in exchange for McMaster’s son being appointed her running mate. Now Fits News is reporting that Greenville County Sheriff Hobart Lewis is alleging that part of the deal from McMaster was for Trump to appoint McMaster’s longtime security detail driver the next Marshal for the District of South Carolina. So everything is a pay-for-play so long as another red state is saddled with another fake Republican.

Trump Administration

-Trump admin labels us “Anti-Technology Violent Extremists“: I know I spoke about this already, but I want to reiterate that this is the most important story of the month. In the most Orwellian fashion imaginable, the man who ran against Big Tech censorship during COVID is now labeling those of us who oppose his dystopian Big Tech land grab, power grab, and surveillance state “anti-tech violent extremists.” This is the nightmare scenario we’ve been foreshadowing for the next Democrat president, but evidently we didn’t need to wait for a president Gavin Newsom.

-Trump appoints Bondi to White House Council to coordinate favors to big tech: This appointment and position embodies everything wrong with government. Not only is the failed former AG being brought back to the White House but she is also being placed on the appalling Presidential Council of Advisors on Science and Technology, which consists of all the data center CEOs so that she can further blur the lines between the government and tech CEO and administer favors that tickle their business model.

-Secret unreleased Trump poll found his voters are concerned about vaccines: Trump pollster Tony Fabrizio conducted a poll last year but never released it. Why? It found that 73% of his voters expressed concern about childhood vaccine mandates, while 90% of voters expressed concern about the pharmaceutical industry’s corrupting influence. That is clearly not the result he wanted.

-Trump puts out budget to eliminate housing programs, then supports a bill expanding them: This is the bizarre world we live in. Once again, Trump’s annual budget proposal published by OMB calls for dismantling a number of HUD programs designed to offer localities and developers grants to build Section 8 style housing. These programs have historically been used as Democrat slush fund to socially transform neighborhoods. But then at the same time he is supporting Elizabeth Warren’s uniparty bill to expand all these programs. So which one wins? The budget proposal is non-binding, but the Warren bill has enough votes to pass, and Trump will sign. It’s always the conservative side of Trump’s duplicity that walks, while the liberal side talks.

-Trump’s Treasury prepares to put his face on a new $250 bill: In another episode of ‘perverse priorities,’ rather than focusing on mass deportations, inflation, and ending anarcho-tyranny, Trump is pushing to put his face on a $250 bill. Perhaps, he will display it in his new taxpayer-funded ballroom. Then again, it’s quite apropos to put his face on the bill, for after all, it was he who made $250 the new $100 in value.

-Trump names corrupt housing leftist as acting head of DNI: Out of nowhere, Trump announced Bill Pulte, the director of the Federal Housing Finance Agency, would serve as acting director of National Intelligence. Pulte is a symbol of housing grift and is responsible for Trump’s stupid housing policy. The guy has never worked in intel or national security in his life, but I’m sure some check was cashed somewhere. Unfortunately, Pulte is not even leaving his post at the FHFA, which is even more bizarre.

Technocracy

-Cheyenne City Council votes down data center moratorium: There might not be another place targeted for more data center size and scope per capita than the Cheyenne area, which is facing dozens of data centers, some of which are over 1 gigawatt. This is the perfect place for at least a temporary moratorium to sort through the issue. One of my lead Wyoming activists, Mark Moody, was elected to the Cheyenne City Council. He proposed a 12-month moratorium, and all eight other councilmen voted it down. Welcome to red America.

-Utah county bans both data centers and solar farms for six months: This is the way to go. The bad guys have gotten a head start with special favors, and we no longer have a free market. We need a pause to sort this out. And I love how Iron County, Utah is lumping in solar with data centers because it’s the same agenda.

-VA governor supports tax breaks for data centers: Thanks to the GOP’s political malpractice, Democrats are outflanking them on surveillance, data centers, and Big Tech. However, don’t think for a minute that when they get into power they will actually change the game. Virginia is the harbinger because they held elections a year early and Democrats took over the trifecta in the capital of data center techno-feudalism. Gov. Spanberger ran on protecting people from the harms of data centers, but now that Dems are in power and some backbenchers are proposing bills to rein them in, she is opposing all those bills, including the suspension of tax credits. This is a fight between the average person on the right and left vs. the establishments of both parties. A perfect impetus for a new party.

-Major companies are cutting back on AI expenses: The WSJ reports that many companies are now realizing that simply using a noun, a verb, and a subscription to a chatbot service does not guarantee any more revenue. They are seeing that the token costs for running AI agents are now exceeding what they were paying the employees they fired. They are cutting back on use and being more careful with their budgets. Given this trend, how in the world will Oracle, OpenAI, and Anthropic make trillions of dollars to somehow pay for all this nonsense plus nuclear reactors? I think we know the answer.

-Midland, Texas man gets apprehended by police for calling point of order at data center townhall: This is a growing and disturbing trend we are seeing in deep red America where patriotic citizens are peacefully speaking at meetings on data centers and getting arrested, manhandled, or wrongly apprehended by local police. These police can go @#$% themselves. This is anarcho-tyranny. Watch the whole video.

- AI models tend to leave religion out of answers to moral and life questions, researchers at a multi-university consortium found: The models surveyed mentioned religion just 5%-16% of the time, in contrast to Americans’ expectations for it to be mentioned 45%-59% of the time. I’ve been warning all along that this is the same thing we saw with Google searches, whereby the Big Tech companies rig the algorithms to promote the agenda they want. The difference here is that AI is being sold to the public as the Oracle of Delphi with unimpeachable intelligence when in fact it is completely manipulated.

-Human-authored certificate gains traction: With endless AI-generated slop populating the internet and even books, the Authors Guild has created a certification process for writers to be acknowledged as actual humans. Expect this to gain traction as people clamor for good old human creativity once again.

-Union thugs side with data centers over their constituents: Not surprisingly, Big Labor is lining up with Big Tech to support a project that will not create long-term jobs but will destroy rural America, farms, and ranches – you know, the type of communities where many of their constituents live.

Immigration

No consequences for anti-ICE riot in Newark: A bunch of leftists and Muslims rioted against ICE in Newark, NJ last week by throwing objects at agents and blocking their vehicles. This would have gotten you pre-trial detention and a minimum of four years in prison on January 6. But not only do they face no consequences, they succeeded in driving the Trump administration away from both mass deportations and a surge of law enforcement to control the attacks against ICE. Now, they have succeeded in obtaining release of pregnant detainees.

States

-VA governor enforced universal background checks despite Supreme Court ruling: I love Democrats! They come, see, and conquer. So you know how Republicans will listen to every court ruling, even when they lack jurisdiction over an issue? Well, the state supreme court halted enforcement of their unconstitutional law mandating universal background checks on every gun purchase in Virginia. But guess what? You know who enforces law? The executive branch, not the judicial branch. Hence, the governor ordered the AG to enforce the background check, disregarding the court ruling. Why can’t we do this in red states? Because the GOP, unlike the Democrat Party, is a fake party.

-Florida sues OpenAI for unsafe practices: We know that all companies have to abide by laws pertaining to unfair trade practice, product liability, public nuisance and negligence laws. So why should OpenAI be different? Florida’s AG James Uthmeir just filed a civil suit against the company for ChatGPT’s role in providing assistance to the mass shooter at FSU in Tallahassee last year. It’s time they get the same treatment other companies often wrongly suffer from.

Economy

-Personal savings rate collapsed by 1% to 2.6%, just shy of all time low: Over the past two months, personal savings have plummeted as consumers are forced to pay more for basic living. Meanwhile, income growth is declining.

- More than half the items in the CPI are growing by 3%+: We already know that even if prices were frozen in place, the majority of Americans are priced out of the cost of living without incurring debt. Yet, now the CPI is growing by more than 3% for more than 50% of the items. This demonstrates that it’s not just the energy shock from the ghost war with Iran but also the core inflationary factors from money printing.

Courts

-DC Appeals Court rules trannies have a right to be in the military: A federal appeals court has concluded that the Trump administration’s transgender military ban is likely unconstitutional and “appears to be driven by the bare desire to harm a politically unpopular group.” Yup, federal judges run the military and can now turn military service into a right. Of course, Trump will obsequiously listen to it.

-Scotus intervenes to delay capital conviction: For quite some time, I’ve been chronicling how the supposed 5-4 conservative majority has consistently been ruling 7-2 against us. Worse, as they allow liberal lower court rulings to fester indefinitely, they intervene against conservative lower court rulings like flies on you know what. In the latest example, all but Thomas and Alito voted to vacate a ruling upholding a capital conviction of a Florida murderer. The ruling was upheld by the Florida Supreme Court, the federal district court, and the Eleventh Circuit. This wasn’t even a case of a technicality. SCOTUS vacated the ruling based on one and a half sentences of information the Eleventh Circuit opinion stated, which was not dispositive to the outcome of the case.

Thomas, in a dissent joined only by Alito, blasted the hypocrisy over which cases his colleagues will hear: “the Court does so even while it refuses to correct far more consequential errors for law-abiding citizens, such as the discriminated-against families in Boston, Staff Sergeant Beck’s widow, and the students seeking to challenge university censorship.”

This allows the tech companies to use the power companies, which are regarded as public use, to commandeer land for power lines that will only be necessary for their private needs.

Technocracy

-SEC may allow trading of tokenized shares of public companies: “According to sources familiar with the situation, the SEC may allow the issuance and trading of tokenized shares of public companies without the mandatory consent of the issuers themselves. Such tokens could be created by third parties and traded on decentralized platforms.” This is where the crypto pyramid scheme is headed. They will start with stock trades of public companies, but they want to tokenize things like land, which is why they are seeking to monopolize land ownership in America.

-A 150,000-household power use data center for a town of 4,200: There is a planned data center for 116 acres in Osawatomie, Kansas. This is a town of 4,200, yet the data center will use as much power as 150,000 people. Ironically, that is actually one of the smaller ones being proposed! And they want to say town opposition is somehow contrived and funded by foreign interests.

-Indiana Gov. Mike Braun calls data centers a “godsend” for rural communities: More like a grift-send, but this is what we have in red states for elected Republicans.

-Data center tax credits in Ohio worth $1.6 billion: According to the Ohio Department of Taxation, in 2025, the sales tax credit for data centers cost a whopping $1.6 billion, eleven times more than the original estimate of $136 million that was sold to the public. Now you know why this is not free market. We don’t even need a moratorium. If we merely cut off the special favors, this ponzi scheme would end, just like with the green grift.

-Nvidia banking on billion in chip sales to China: So we have to sell the chips to China…to beat China? On Saturday, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang confirmed in a Taipei meeting that his forecast of a $200 billion in chip sales explicitly includes the Chinese market. So this entire notion that we need to build chip server farms across rural America to beat China is an exercise in perfidy.

-Cars becoming easier to steal: Another consequence of mandating that car manufacturers only make “smart cars” (aside from the surveillance state and kill switches) is that thieves are now able to hack into the electronic system and steal the cars even easier than during the mechanical days. We need to make dumb cars great again.

-Hyundai recalls 421k SUVs due to software failure: Related to the previous point, we now have software failures. Hyundai is recalling more than 421,000 2025 and 2026 SUVs in the U.S. because a software issue could cause the automatic emergency braking system to unexpectedly activate. Wait until they introduce AI in every car and it hallucinates on the road. Again, if people want these features, I’m not here to stop them, but government has created a number of mandates that have led to most of these features.

-Uber COO says AI features not paying off for company: Like many uses of AI, Uber deployed some AI features that, at first glance, seemed cool. But Uber COO Andrew Macdonald said it’s getting harder to justify the trade-offs of AI investments in the company. “AI can seem free if you’re “just a user sitting there coming up with interesting use cases” without paying for it. But ultimately, the company foots the bill.” Expect a lot of other companies and industries to recognize that in the coming months.

Immigration

-Richmond, VA bars sharing of Flock data with ICE: This is classic anarcho-tyranny. So they support keeping Flock cameras to track us, but they just can’t be used to apprehend illegal aliens.

-Trump’s atrocious record on H-1B: Preliminary data from USCIS show that during the first year of Trump’s second term, H-1B petitions were approved at a 97.6%, which is actually higher than the 88.4% rate during his first term and matches Biden’s approval levels. Some reforms have since been implemented, but they will not affect the pipeline of those already in the country on other visas, which is where most H-1Bs are drawn from. If Trump were to remain president long-term, it would eventually dry up the supply, but it will not really affect the numbers until a Democrat president comes back in and reverses the policy.

- Illegal immigrant truck driver Manvir Singh arrested in deadly California hit-and-run after Biden release: “His arrest marks the fourth illegal immigrant truck driver with the last name “Singh” accused in a fatal crash since last year, DHS said, highlighting what officials described as a growing trend involving illegal immigrant commercial drivers from India.” This is such a pervasive problem, yet to this day very few red states are properly deterring what California is doing. A red state can’t stop California from issuing these guys CDLs but they can say that if you are caught driving in our state, you will serve mandatory prison time.

-Poster child illegal gangbanger walks free: Remember Kilmar Abrego Garcia, one of the first illegal alien MS-13 guys the Trump administration tried to deport? Well, 16 months later he is walking free. An Obama-appointed judge in Tennessee dismissed the human smuggling charges against him, arguing that the DOJ prosecution was selective or vindictive prosecution. Of course, we never saw judges recognize selective prosecution for J6 defendants. This is what I mean when I say we are wasting our time with a budget reconciliation bill to give more money to ICE if we don’t strip the courts of jurisdiction over immigration or ignore their rulings.

Elections

-Dem turnout crushing Republicans: One of the observations I’m tracking during the primaries is party turnout. What we’re seeing is that even in red states Democrats are turning out in high numbers, while GOP turnout is depressed. Take Idaho, for example. Nearly 50,000 Democrats turned out for a gubernatorial primary in which they had a 0% chance of winning in the generation election. Yet, 40% of registered Democrats turned out, which pretty much matches the GOP turnout. In competitive states like Georgia, Democrats are winning the turnout battle outright.

-Trump will only target the right, not the left: For 10 years, I’ve been observing how Trump will generally only primary those to his right, not to his left. Despite RINOs blocking his initiatives from the left, and often even when they personally attack him. Trump will not come in against them (unless they voted for impeachment). Well, that trend is continuing. Axios chronicles four more Republican incumbents Trump might target: Rep. Lauren Bohbert, Senator Rand Paul, Rep. Warren Davidson, and Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick. The first three, to varying degrees, are to Trump’s right, while Fitzpatrick is to his left. Yet, the White House immediately responded to the story emphatically denying he would ever endorse against Fitzpatrick, while of course implicitly leaving open the possibility of challenges to the other three.

- Gallup: Dems open a 10-point lead in party ID: Just how sharply have Republicans tanked since the 2024 elections? In the fourth quarter of 2024, Gallup had party identification at 47% Republican/Lean Republican and 43% Democrat/Lean Democrat. Fast forward to the first quarter of this year, and it’s 49% Democrat/Lean Democrat , 39% Republican/Lean Republican. That is higher than their 8-point lead during the 2018 midterms.

Culture

-What’s wrong with our youth in one poll: Great piece from a man with a terminal cancer diagnosis about the future of our children: “According to a new survey from the Institute for Family Studies, 60% of 6-year-olds have access to internet-connected tablets, but 58% of kids that age aren’t allowed to play in their own yards unsupervised.”

Courts

-SCOTUS refuses to hear the one case it’s supposed to hear: So we were lied to as kids into thinking that SCOTUS is the king of every public policy question. As I’ve said for years, it’s Congress that defines the jurisdiction of SCOTUS, with the exception of four cases whereby the Constitution gives this institution original jurisdiction. One of them is inter-state disputes. Florida sued California for issuing CDLs to illegals (see the consequences above!) because it directly endangers every state. The loudmouths on the court finally found a case they don’t want to hear even though the Constitution requires it! Of course, it was only Thomas and Alito, none of the three Trump appointees, who dissented.

States

-Oregon set to vote on banning killing animals for food: Talk about eating bugs! Oregon leftists now have enough petitions to get Initiative 28 on the November ballot, which would effectively ban hunting, fishing, and raising of animals for food. What begins in blue states will migrate everywhere. Then again, if Big Tech buys up all the land, we will de facto be without healthy and abundant food anyway.

Given our challenges economically, socially, and demographically, nothing our political pundits on the right are focused on is locked into where the battle lines are drawn. We continue to fight a game of inches while losing by miles. As Democrats are slated to crush Republicans in the general election, we are failing to move the needle in the primaries, and the only major incumbent to go down is Thomas Massie. Remember that last cycle the only incumbent to lose was the chairman of the Freedom Caucus.

Additionally, even at the state legislative level, at best we’ve been netting one or two good guys here or there…inches. Except, last night, the other side finally broke through. In Idaho, Gov. Brad Little funded primary challenges to eight of the best conservative incumbents in the legislature and successfully knocked out five of them with the help of the illegal alien cartel. Little himself should never have been able to run for a third term, and indeed he only garnered 58% in a field of weak challengers. But a Trump endorsement scared off all quality challengers. This enabled Little to focus on taking out conservatives in what should be our northwestern bastion for ordered liberty.

Sadly, this these is going to continue in nearly every state, as we continue to nominate and re-nominate RINOs to every gubernatorial, senatorial, and congressional seat. Even in state legislatures, the outcomes range from unchanged (at 20% conservative membership), slightly better (but far short of a governing majority), or slightly worse.

In the coming days, as we look forward to the big 250^th birthday, I look forward to digging deeper into the reservoir of solutions, and with God’s help, we’ll think of something that rises to this moment in history. The status quo is not working.

For now, here are some of the stories and issues I’m focused on:

Economy

- CPI inflation climbed to 3.8% year-on-year in April, its highest level since 2023: A lot of this is dominated by energy prices, but if you peek into the numbers, you will see inflation everywhere, including in services. So yes, this aimless war is part of the culprit, but the same spending and money printing that was placing us on this trajectory before the war is continuing. The M2 money supply has grown 4.2% over the past 12 months. It’s no surprise why the CPI would track with the money supply.

-USDA forecasts smallest wheat crop since 1972: The USDA forecasted the 2026/27 U.S. all-wheat production at 1.56 billion bushels, making it the smallest harvest since 1972. It’s a mixture of the severe drought and the smallest planting levels in decades. Gee, so isn’t there a bigger emergency to grow our farms, not shrink them with data centers?

-U.S. credit card delinquencies hit the highest level since 2011. The money is running out. Can you imagine what will happen when the government does another “stimulus” at this baseline of debt, interest, and stagnation?

-Americans are buying now, paying later: So what happens now that American consumers have maxed out on credit cards? There is a new burgeoning market of ‘buy now, pay later.’ According to a new Gallup poll, 37% of lower-income Americans report using installment plans either frequently or occasionally. 46% of Americans who say they don’t have enough money to live comfortably are paying in installments at least on occasion, while 57% of those worried about making credit card payments use them. I don’t think Republicans understand what their covid policies have done and the ticking economic time bomb they are facing.

-Record unemployment for those with advanced degrees: A new report from the Burning Glass Institute shows that the unemployment rate for those under 35 who hold a master’s degree is the highest in a generation. This is obviously a reflection of the terrible job market for young people, but at the same time it portends good news in that we are likely moving away from the higher education cartel.

-Meanwhile, the 30-year Treasury hit 5.17% this week, the highest level since before the Great Recession. And this is despite the Fed cutting rates 150 basis points. All of this is indicative of long-term stagflation. Now, we have high yields, even with a relatively lower federal funds rate, rip-roaring inflation, and record debt. Welcome to the golden era!

Immigration

-When jailbreak meets sanctuary city in…Indiana? An illegal alien was sentenced to less than five years for raping an American woman in a ditch in Bloomington, Indiana. The fact that we have so many illegal aliens undeterred in red states and the fact that we have such minimal prison sentences demonstrates just how liberal so many red states are. This is what I resent about those who think the only problem with some Indiana Republicans was that they declined to vote for redistricting, when in fact a much larger number of them are pro illegal alien and pro criminal. Believe me, if you implement my 20-point state enforcement plan, you will not have illegals in red states.

-Trump backs away from barring illegal alien bank accounts: As I’ve said numerous times, if we merely cut off simple magnets like employment, education, healthcare, and banking, it would be very hard to remain here illegally. However, as part of his move to the left on this issue, Trump backed away from having the Treasury Department require banks collect citizenship status for bank account applications.

Culture

-America is scaling sin like there is no tomorrow: This is a surprisingly good Axios article on how between weed, AI porn, and endless online betting, America is “scaling sin” as quickly as they are trying to scale data centers. The thing is that the party of “family values” is largely on the wrong side of these issues.

Foreign Policy

-Trump upset that Kurds won’t take the bait and help us as we sabotage them! Look, say what you want about the Iran war, but for Trump to be “upset” with the Kurds for not going full bore, knowing we’d leave them hanging as always, makes no sense.

Technocracy

-Only a fraction of Microsoft data center compute power operational: Microsoft claims it brought 4GWs of compute into operation over the past two years, but Ed Zitron tallied it up and could not find anywhere close to that much compute power completed, much less operational. Only two of their facilities have been completed since 2024 – one in Fairwater, Wisconsin and one in Atlanta. The total compute capacity would not be more than a few hundred MWs. So when they talk about individual facilities having well over 1GW, this is still a fiction. It’s all about the land grab.

-Texas county passes 1-year moratorium on data centers: After being bombarded with data center proposals, Texas counties are finally considering a short-term moratorium to study the effects of this unprecedented buildout. Hill County passed the moratorium 3-2 last week, and Hood and Hays Counties are considering similar ideas. Overall, about 50 local governments, including 31 entire counties, have passed moratoriums. Now, the Texas Ag Commissioner, Sid Miller, is calling for a statewide moratorium until the issues can be studied.

-A microcosm of the local data center fight: This article about Red Oak City, Texas, is emblematic of what is going on everywhere around the country. They host a meeting and propose to rezone 800 acres of farmland for a data center plus a tax abatement. This is exactly what I mean when I say this is not free market because we would never offer to rezone so much land for a project that brings nothing of use but sucks out all the power. Despite the population flooding the meeting to oppose the rezoning, the proposal passed 4-1.

-Lawsuit accuses ChatGPT of sharing chat query topics, user IDs, and email addresses with Google and Meta. A new class action suit filed in the Southern District of California provides evidence of what we’ve all suspected; namely, private use of chatbots is shared with all the tech companies. Use at your own risk.

-Blackstone and Google team up for AI cloud: Ever wonder why Blackstone is involved not just in purchasing residential property, but a ton of farmland for data centers? It turns out they are working on a joint venture with Google to produce more AI cloud computing. So all the MAGA people yelping about why Blackstone should not be allowed to buy homes are suddenly silent when they buy out rural America.

-Virginia resident uses decibel reader to prove data center disruption of life: Austin Newsome of Louisa County, Virginia is using decibel readers to convey the truth about quality of life degradation as a result of the endless facilities being built in the region. “So this is just constant — all day, every day, you can just see the haze of the dust floating through the air, and it never stops,” Newsome said. “And the noise that comes out of this place 24 hours. At night time is just a loud pitch, humming, buzzing noise all the time.”

States

-Oklahoma Gov. vetoes human compost bill: Remember the human compost bill that our friend, Rep. Jim Shaw, was fighting? I’ve been a strong critic of Gov. Kevin Stitt, but kudos to him for vetoing the bill.

-Minnesota passes massive illegal alien invitation bill: For months I’ve been observing how most red states, with massive GOP supermajorities, will not pass Florida’s street-level immigration enforcement. Yet, when it comes to Democrat-run states, such as Minnesota, for example, as soon as they got a 1-seat majority in the Senate, they passed an omnibus amnesty bill with multiple sanctuary provisions for illegals and restrictions on ICE.

-SC Governor appoints rabid COVID fascist and leftist as public health director: Gov. Henry McMaster appointed Brannon Traxler as South Carolina’s new Public Health Director. Among her greatest hits was leading the implementation of vaccine and mask mandates in the state during COVID. She also donated to Biden and enrolled her infant in a COVID trial. In the irony of all ironies, she donated to McMaster’s Democrat opponent four years ago. Oh, and Trump endorsed McMaster twice, and he is the only reason he is governor.

Trump administration

-HHS official resigns in protest of flavored vapes: HHS chief spokesman Rich Danker resigned over a disagreement with the Trump administration’s push to approve e-cigarette flavors. Again, priorities on display. There is no priority for Trump to promote American farms and ranches, deal with illegal immigration or cost of living, or ban COVID shots, but we just have to import more Chinese vapes to addict our kids to toxins (while we addict them to chatbots). Press 1 for Spanish, Press 2 for….

-Trump executed 3,700 stock trades while in office: Corruption is a looming factor in these elections, and Republicans can ignore it at their own peril. I know my colleagues are reflexively used to defending their man, but this is simply indefensible, especially because Trump has used executive orders and even statements to manipulate the market more than any other president. We can shout “Hunter Biden Barisma” all we want, but it does not negate the corruption of this administration, which is now the incumbent power. For example, Trump bought between $247,008 and $630,000 in Palantir stock, including at least seven separate purchases in March alone worth up to $530,000. On April 10, he declared support for the company on his social media.

-DOJ continues prosecution of Trump donor on weaponized charges: J6 defense attorney Jonathan Gross, who just left the DOJ, was on my show recently discussing how the Trump DOJ has not changed one iota. He’s been highlighting examples of them continuing weaponized prosecutions that began under Biden. This case is about Trump donor Michael Castillero who was charged for not disclosing fees in an investment fund where nobody suffered a loss. Now the Trump DOJ is asking for extra prison time because the defense asserted they were a victim of political targeting.

Elections

-Poll shows Dems competitive in Montana district: A new poll shows Congressman Aaron Flint only 4-5 points ahead of either Democrat opponent in MT-1. Now, it’s true that MT-1 (western Montana) is much less red than the rest of the state, but this is a woeful underperformance against no-name Dem candidates. Trump still won the district by 11.6 points. Once these candidates get more money and name ID, their performance will only grow. This is one of many data points showing why even if Republicans successfully net an extra seven seats from redistricting it might not result in them keeping the House.

-Lindsey Graham leads his opponent by 43 points: Behold the power of Trump’s RINO protection scheme. As I’ve warned for 10 years, Trump had the power to change the party like nobody before him, but instead he has refilled the swamp like nobody before him was capable of doing.

-Trump dips below 40% approval in RCP averages: We’ve seen this the past few months with individual polls, but for the first time the president has dipped below 40% in the RCP polling average. This is a critical marker because this is reflective of losing all the middle and some soft Republicans, which means that light red districts/states are in play.

-Dems up 7 in North Carolina: Speaking of a light red state, North Carolina has been the most reliably red of the swing states in presidential elections over the past five election cycles since NC has lost its reliably red status. Yet, a new poll has former Dem Governor Roy Cooper up seven points for the Senate seat. The key? He’s leading by 22 in the suburbs. This is emblematic of the GOP problem.

The two big issues I’m focused on now are the West Virginia legislative primaries and the data center fight reaching a crescendo. I’ll have coverage of the primaries every Wed. morning on my show.

As for data centers, we are now reaching a point where the more insolvent the data center companies appear, the more land they seek to purchase and rezone. This, in turn, is creating an even greater bipartisan backlash, for as numerous as their proposals is the degree of opposition. Republicans can ignore this budding revolution at their own peril.

Here are the key stories I’m focused on to start out this week:

Technocracy

-How resistance to data centers is uniting all sides: The NYT has a good write-up about a Trump-leaning area of southwest Michigan where all sorts of people are uniting to fight data centers. This is the new Tea Party, except it’s bipartisan.

-Coinbase cutting 14k jobs: Just like with data centers, this is not what is supposed to happen if the crypto industry is really a bourgeoning enterprise as its lobbyists assert.

-Data centers causing inflation in three ways: At a time of rampant inflation, the public would get behind infrastructure projects that will lower the cost of living, not raise it. As Goldman Sachs recently stated, it raises the cost of living in three direct ways: “We see three key ways in which AI is boosting consumer prices. First, strong demand for AI infrastructure has raised the price of some key electronics inputs, which has increased computer accessories prices and will likely boost smartphone and computer prices in coming months. Second, the addition of new AI features to existing software has likely put some upward pressure on software prices over the last couple of years. Third, higher electricity demand to power data centers is increasing electricity prices in some US regions, and we expect it to continue boosting inflation over the next couple of years.”

-The organic nature of data center backlash: Contrary to the blood libel and projection propagated by Big Tech PR hatchet men, opposition to data centers is the most localized, organic grassroots movement we’ve seen in years. Robert Bryce has been on the road covering these flashpoints and has an excellent summary. “The anger toward Big Tech and opposition to data centers are part of an unprecedented cultural backlash. Local people are looking at these big projects and asking a simple question: “What’s in it for us?” And in many cases, they are finding that the local benefits aren’t enough.”

-Maryland homeowners will pay an extra $1.6 billion to feed data centers: As a Maryland resident, I can tell you that electric bills have already gone up by at least 20% over the past 18 months (so even post inflation bounce from covid). However, we ain’t seen nothin’ yet. A Maryland state agency estimates that households will pay $1.6 billion in higher electric bills over the next decade to subsidize grid costs to feed data centers. Yet, the industry will tell you with a straight face that these things will not cost a dime.

-Utility watchdog issues warning about data center stress on grid: The North American Electric Reliability Corporation — the top grid oversight agency for the US, Canada, and parts of Mexico — issued a Level 3 alert for “essential action,” warning that grid operators lack “sufficient processes, procedures, or methods to address risks associated with computational loads.” Of course, “computational loads” means data centers. It’s not just the sheer size of the load that NERC is warning about. They are saying that the extreme vacillation between high and low power use within seconds makes it hard for grid operators to react. Again, this is already happening, and this is before most of the hyperscale centers are built and operational.

-Poll: Americans support ban on data centers more than 2-1: A new Stockton University poll shows 56% want a data center ban while only 22% oppose it. Just 8% believe data centers will benefit communities.

-Korean Buddhists treat robot like a monk: In Seoul, a group of Korean monks treated a robot like a real monk and even held a coronation ceremony. When I say generative AI is the new COVID, I mean they will create a pretext for the new, ultimate “expert” that you can’t argue with. They are treating AI like literal Ba’al and idolatry so it can make all the decisions, when meanwhile it is nothing but a statistical regression. It’s all part of the grooming and gaslighting of the young generation into thinking it is sentient.

-EU pushing driver surveillance cameras in every car: The EU is proposing that every new and old registered car have internal driver monitoring. What starts there invariably comes to America, especially as we already have so much surveillance technology plus the kill switch mandate. They know Americans won’t willingly give up their cars, so instead they will load them up with “fancy” surveillance features. We need to ban all cloud-based surveillance in cars, in addition to terminating the kill switch. Additionally, we must allow manufacturers to make old-fashioned “dumb” cars so that people can afford the entry-level car that has essentially been abolished.

-Cheyenne local board wants to build 800-man slave labor camp for data centers: The Laramie County Planning Commission is planning an 800-unit man camp that could house up to 5,600 workers expected to come with a flood of data centers in the region. We all know who monopolizes those jobs, and they ain’t our ilk. As one neighbor said, “Man camps in similar locations have led to an increase in property crime, DUIs, drug crimes, and violent crimes.”

-How Hood County, TX crypto mining facility destroyed the lives of its neighbors: This 14-minute documentary by the Fort Worth Star Telegram is a microcosm of what neighbors are facing in terms of quality of life issues plus lack of transparency from local officials bought off by the tech industry.

-Over 90% of Box Elder County oppose unfathomably large data center: Remember that data center in Northwest Utah we discussed last week? You know, the one that will consume three times the volume of Utah’s electricity and have a larger footprint than 9,500 Walmart Supercenters? Well, the Salt Lake Tribune found through a public records request that residents overwhelmingly opposed the decision in emails to county commissioners. “Among those local comments, The Tribune found that 242 — or 68% — opposed the plan. Just seven, or 2%, shared approval. And the remaining 106, or 30%, did not state an opinion but did demonstrate concern, posing questions about water, power and how county residents might benefit.”

Economy

- Median price for new single-family homes fell to $387,400 in April, dropping 6.2% y/y to its lowest level since July 2021. Relatedly, and not surprisingly, sales of new single-family homes in March rose to the fastest pace so far this year, up 7.4% from February. Look, that is still a very high level, but as I’ve been predicting, the market is going to crash. Now we just have to make sure the Federal Reserve doesn’t do anything to pump it back up. Also, Trump should not sign the Warren housing bill that will subsidize another bubble. Just let it drop.

-All jobs created in recent years are from healthcare: Here is a great chart that encapsulates the job market. Since 2023, 1.8 million jobs in healthcare and social assistance have been created, while every other industry lost a net of 127,800 jobs. Remember, this is before we factor in population growth. So the only positive trend in the employment market is job creation off sick care and the chronic illness epidemic in the country.

Trump administration

-Welcome to Qatar Force 1: Aren’t you excited? The Qatari plane donated to Trump is now ready for a paint job! How anyone can defend this is beyond me, but the entire fake right is soulless to its core.

-Trump admin thinking of canning FDA Administrator Makary: The Trump administration is considering axing Marty Makary as FDA head. Is it because of his weak stance on vaccines and pro-life causes, as I warned about from the beginning? Nope! It’s because he’s slow-walking approval of flavored vapes! Classic Trump priorities.

Elections

-Republicans getting crushed in turnout: Last week, elections were held in two red states: Ohio and Indiana. As I mentioned on the show, Republicans had twice the turnout of Democrats just four years ago, and now that edge shrunk to just 3%! Well, the same dynamic played out in Indiana. Hamilton County, as the suburb of Indianapolis, is probably the most pivotal county in the state. It is the largest red county, although because it is so populous, it is not overwhelmingly red. It is the quintessential GOP suburb that is ebbing away. While Trump carried it by 20 in 2026, he only carried it by 6 in 2024. Well, in last week’s primaries, Dem turnout was up 250% compared to 2024, while GOP turnout was down 35%. This doesn’t mean Democrats can flip Indiana (yet), but boy does this portend danger in any semi-competitive area.

-RNC sends 34 staffers to 17 states to court “low propensity” voters: Do you know what you call a party down to its final play of courting low propensity voters? Losers! Rather than running on a consistent and coherent platform of security, continuity of communities, affordability, and quality of life, Republicans have chased suburban voters out of the party. So now they are trying to find low propensity voters. That is a bad trade in any year, certainly in one where you have nothing with which to draw your traditional base out to the polls.

-Trump enthusiasm among Republicans dramatically lower than 2018: The 2018 midterm election was bad for Republicans, but well within the standard performance for a party in control of the federal government. The reason I’ve been saying this year is different is A) the numbers among Independents is worse than in 2018 and B) whereas Democrats are juiced up on anti-Trump energy, we don’t have the pro-Trump energy on the other side. A new ABC News poll lends credence to this point. 73% of Democrats said the upcoming election is more important than past midterms, while just 52% of Republicans said the same. The number was 63% in 2018. Moreover, whereas 76% of Dems said they want to vote to send a message against Trump, only 46% of Republicans said they would vote to send a message of support for him. In 2018, the GOP positive support for Trump was at 71%, almost matching the intensity of the “anti” vote from Democrats. This is because Trump has given them nothing to vote for.

Foreign policy

-Trump caves on Straights of Hormuz after Saudi Arabia denies us base access: Nothing embodies the circuitous cycle of retardation than this story. So Saudi Arabia (more so than Israel) goaded us into attacking Iran. Trump clearly had no coherent strategy or outcome, and then when he chose to escort ships into the Straights, the same Saudis threatened they would deny base access if we didn’t stop. I’ve never seen anything like it. We get into the right war at the wrong time, in the wrong way, at the behest of the wrong country, and then pull back from the only winning strategy at the behest of the wrong country for a base that we shouldn’t even have to begin with and is only there to defend them!

After two years of blood libel that somehow Israel controls our foreign policy, it is evident to anyone with eyes to see that the Gulf states and their money control us much more – to the point that they can yell stop and go in the same war!

Clearly, the Gulf states never use the weaponry when we want them to. They are trying to build up their own defense industry to sell to China. This point is punctuated by the news last week that Saudi Arabia opened a sovereign wealth fund office in Shanghai. “The Shanghai outpost was reportedly created to strengthen the $1 trillion fund’s ability to pursue outbound deals in China.” Outbound deals means selling them the technology we stupidly pass on to them in return for them paying off Jared Kushner who essentially fuels their sovereign wealth fund.

-Netanyahu calls for weaning off foreign aid: For all the talk about how Israel is evil because they get foreign aid, they are now the only recipient country willing to wean off. Netanyahu once again called for weaning off aid during an interview with 60 Minutes. Why is it that the fake right will never call for an end to aid to all the Arab countries, nor do any of their leaders offer to decline such aid?

-What ever happened to the Trump anti-China direction? This is a good re-cap of how, just like in Animal Farm, the administration that was supposed to be the toughest on China has crated an open door policy, as the president heads to Beijing this week…along with the CEOs of the largest companies.

States

-Man on trial in Michigan for sending nasty email to leftist politician: This is a glimpse of what is coming when Democrats take over and demonstrates why we need leaders in red states who will refuse to extradite to blue states for political crimes. In Dec. 2023, Massachusetts resident Marc Aisen was arrested and extradited to Michigan for the “crime” of sending a nasty email to Bloomfield Township, Michigan, Treasurer Michael Schostak. In what is typical of hate mail received by elected officials in both parties – for better or worse – Aisen basically called Schostak a pedophile for his beliefs on transgenderism. There was not a scintilla of violence or threats of violence in his email. He has been sitting in a Michigan jail for 2.5 years pre-trial, and only now is the trial under way. One would think the courts would rule this prosecution unconstitutional, but there are no laws. Now you know why it’s so important to elect real conservatives in red states.

Culture

-Man responsible for Palisades fire was obsessed with Luigi Mangone, fighting the rich: It turns out that Jonathan Rinderknecht, the uber driver that was jailed last October for the great Palisades inferno, se the fire because he hated the wealthy and was inspired by Mangone. We have a very serious problem among young people that will continue to simmer if we don’t reorient our markets and restore free market capitalism over crony capitalism. The assassination culture on the left is real and is growing, and this is even outside of the confines of ANTIFA command and control.

Immigration

-How constant cheap foreign labor prevents agriculture from mechanizing: This is an amazing piece from RJ Hauman on how cheap labor is the kryptonite preventing farming from being mechanized and also exposes the hypocrisy of those pushing data centers for AI on farmland but not using low-latency AI for farming itself in order to promote illegal immigration.

It’s become abundantly clear that despite the GOP obsession with gerrymandering, they cannot redistrict themselves out of the impending blue wave. Meanwhile, we should all be focusing on the primaries in deep red states that will presumably remain red in the general election. I look forward to covering these primaries on each Wednesday show. For now, here are some of the stories I’m focused on:

Elections

-Bad polling for House Republicans: Conservatives For America, a political organization linked to Republican Study Committee, posted a polling memo about vulnerable House districts that Democrats are trying to pick off. They found Trump underwater in districts he won that are critical to determining control of the House. For example, the president’s image is -7 in Wi-1, a district Trump carried by five points in 2024; he’s -4 in CO-3, a district he carried by 10. Overall, Democrats led on the generic ballot, but the individual Republican incumbent members still held a narrow lead in most of these districts. The problem is that the Democrat candidates have barely begun to campaign, have low name ID, but have a ton of money. So if the fundamentals are this bad, you must believe the Dem challengers will be favored. This is not a cataclysmic poll, but it is pretty bad coming from a Republican pollster.

-AI, Crypto trying to use money to buy love in the midterms: Leading the Future, a pro-AI super PAC founded in August, has already raised more than $75 million since its launch, according to recent filings with the Federal Election Commission. Fairshake, a pro-crypto group primarily funded by Coinbase, Andreessen Horowitz and Ripple Labs, is expected to back candidates in both parties and has already spent $28 million across several competitive primaries through its network of PACs. Watch for this to begin playing a bigger role in primaries and track very closely with the candidates Trump supports.

-Poll: Young voters plan to vote for Dems by 33-point margin: If even a fraction of this Generation Lab survey is true, Republicans are facing a wipeout. The survey of 1,000 voters aged 18-34 shows 52% are committed to voting for Democrats while only 19% are committed to voting for Republicans. Shockingly, just 58% of registered Republicans that age are committing to voting for their party. This isn’t a surprise given how Republicans have missed endless opportunities to focus on the true source of the affordability crisis. The thing is that Democrats will suffer the same problems once they are in charge. There’s never been a better time for a new party.

-Dems ahead of Republicans in early voting for primaries: Georgia will hold its primaries on May 19. The secretary of state reports that turnout is up 28%, but that is all coming from the Democrat primary. 131,155 voted in the Democratic primary, while only 105,232 voted in GOP primary. Although early voting skews more Democrat, Republicans still had more ballots cast in the last midterm primary at this point.

Culture

- 35% of Gen Z use substances—including cannabis, alcohol, or prescription medication—before work: This is simply unsustainable. A new survey of 1,000 U.S. adults conducted by Drug Rehab USA and highlighted by VICE in April 2026 confirms that 35% of Gen Z respondents use substances—including cannabis, alcohol, or prescription medication—before starting their workday. Among those who use substances, alcohol was the most common at 57 percent, but followed close behind by cannabis at 54 percent. The thing is that the level of potency of the current generically modified THC products is nothing like previous generations were using. A stoned generation.

-A large study shows Cannabis use in youth retard the brain: Not surprisingly, a University of California study found that youth (ages 9–17) who initiate cannabis use suffer from flattened neurocognitive trajectories and memory loss. So between this and AI chatslop, we now have both parties supporting cognitive nuclear bombs on an already-depressed and neurologically inflamed generation.

-Policeman arrested for beating up his daughter’s abuser: This is vintage anarcho-tyranny in the red state of Alabama. Where we use the justice system to go after the protectors, not the perpetrators.

Technocracy

-Red Virginia counties on the hook for eminent domain to offer power lines for northern VA data centers: The sheer unprecedented amount of power these leviathans would need also necessitates an unnatural and inordinate amount of transmission lines that will cut through, distort, disturb endless private property. Dominion Power is proposing a $1 billion 765 kV high-voltage transmission line project that would span from Lynchburg to Culpeper County in order to power data centers in Loudoun and Prince William counties in the northern part of the state. The project would impact 9 counties with the most powerful lines, standing 135-165 feet tall.

Obviously, we support eminent domain as a necessary evil to produce infrastructure that powers the country and serves as a universal carrier. But this is tragically all for one sector so they can use up the power rather than supplying it. It’s even worse in West Virginia where the residents are being forced to fund projects that cut up their land with transmission lines to fund the northern Virginia “Data Center alley” that is not even in the same state! Thus, the amount of eminent domain use for such a project absolutely must be weighed against supposed benefits.

-70 data centers planned for Cheyenne area: Cheyenne, Wyoming Councilman Larry Wolfe recently told constituents that Laramie County has 70 data centers in various stages of discussion right now. There is no way the money and power exist for such insanity, so this is all about the land grab itself.

-Whistleblower workers for Meta lose jobs for outing dangers of Meta smart glasses: Remember the story we discussed how Kenyan subcontractors for Meta noted how smart glasses worn by spouses in their homes enabled the tech workers to monitor such private activity as sexual relations? The implication was that not only do smart glasses invade the privacy of bystanders, but the information is also fed to the tech companies. Well, now those workers have been retaliated against and fired.

-Zuckerberg announced another 8,000 layoffs at Meta due to data center spending: A company that is on the rise because of an amazingly auspicious technology does not lay off so many people. They are not laying off people because AI is enabling them to do the work without human capital; they are laying off people because they are struggling with revenue due to the sinkhole of AI capex spending that is unsustainable.

Economy

-A record 55% say their financial situation is getting worse: A new Gallup survey shows 55% say their financial situation is getting worse, a higher level than at any point in the past 25 years. When Dems lost in 2024 it was 47%, so you better believe this is going to be an albatross across the necks of Republicans.

-Todd Blanche to go after grocery stores for price gauging: OK, everyone knows the reason why food is so expensive is because of general inflation caused by government debt and the Ag monopoly created by government subsidies and regulatory capture. Instead of addressing those two problems, in his audition to be Attorney General, acting AG Blanche is going after grocery stores like Mamdani is doing in NYC.

Trump administration

-Secret Service was even more incompetent than we thought: CBS has a report out on what went down at the correspondence dinner shooting. It turns out that a random guest had to close the doors to the ballroom after security was breached because the Secret Service failed to do so. Also, the shooter was only stopped because he tripped and fell. It is clear that nothing has changed about the Secret Service from the gross incompetence on display at Butler, PA nearly two years ago. This is emblematic of everything in the Trump administration. The more things change, the more they stay the same. After all, this is the point of the uniparty.

-Trump admin trying to recruit Senator Fetterman to the GOP: This is a classic GOP obsession. Govern like Democrats and then beg a fake moderate Democrat to join you, as if that will make the difference going forward. The Trump White House and RINOs like Senator Katie Britt are trying to “flip Fetterman.” We actually need to flip all the Republicans to become conservative and actually create a conservative party before trying to recruit converts.

Immigration

-Two illegals arrested for shooting on Indiana highway: I wrote about this six years ago. One of the cultural trends we’ve imported from Mexico is the narco-style shooting in the middle of highways. Last week, two illegals were arrested for a road rage shooting in the middle of Indiana’s I-465. So the next time you hear about a shooting in middle of a highway, watch carefully to see if there are ICE detainers lodged against the suspects.

-Federal judge releases illegal with international warrant for murder: Rafael Gomez is a Dominican illegal alien who was caught and released at the border in 2022, along with millions of others under the Biden administration. On April 4^th, ICE arrested him because he had an Interpol Red Notice arrest warrant for murder in his home country. Yet, on April 28, Rhode Island federal judge Melissa DuBose ordered him released and required bond hearings. This is what I mean when I say the most emergent issue for the Trump administration is jurisdiction stripping of judges on immigration. We now have endless violent criminal aliens (forget about the rest of the illegal population) roaming free all over the country because they refuse to do anything about the courts.

- Doctors from countries affected by the travel ban will now be allowed to practice in the US, in a policy reversal: In another retreat of policy, Trump is caving and allowing doctors from countries with a travel ban. Look, if there is a travel ban that usually means it’s a concern of national security, so the occupation should not matter. Moreover, we have way too many foreign doctors for a country this size that should have plenty of options for Americans. The focus needs to be on training our own doctors.

Then again, this all assumes we even have a travel ban at any level. Last week, U.S. District Court Judge Julia Kobick issued the ruling, asserting that the government had failed to link isolated instances of Afghan nationals committing crimes to the broader policies affecting more nations. This has literally been adjudicated by the Supreme Court in Trump v. Hawaii, plus there is no way foreigners should get standing to sue to enter the country. Yet, when you continue to obey illegal court rulings and won’t even push to tighten jurisdiction stripping in Congress, Supreme Court victories will not matter, as we’ve seen time and again.

Foreign policy

-Billions in military aid to Qatar, Gulf States: Secretary of State Marco Rubio determined that the ongoing war with Iran triggers an emergency to circumvent the Congressional Review Act that is usually required to sign off on weapons sales to foreign states. Five-billion of the $8 billion price tag is earmarked for Qatar – both for Patriot air and missile defense replenishment services and for Advanced Precision Kill Weapon Systems (APKWS). Another $2.5 billion is allocated for integrated battle command system for Kuwait, and presumably a little bit for the UAE. Again, notice we give to Arab countries just as much as to Israel, yet I don’t see these countries contributing anything to the war effort that Israel does. And Qatar was friendly with Iran until three minutes ago. So what exactly are these countries doing with the technology other than passing it on to China?

So what would you spend your final months in power focused on?

Well, for our friends in the GOPe, it’s the surveillance state, the White House ballroom, promoting marijuana, and now the $1.5 trillion farm bill.

Aside from containing a provision exempting pesticide companies from liability and shoving more ethanol (E15) down our engines, this bill continues the same socialist policies that cement agricultural monopolies that are harming family farms. Artificial government subsidies and crop programs have steered farming and land ownership unnaturally towards crops we don’t need. There are zero reforms in this bill. I will be discussing it in further detail on my show.

Meanwhile, here are a number of other stories and tidbits I’m looking at this week:

Culture

-After Ohio legalized recreational marijuana, cases of pediatric intoxication surged by 424 percent: Marijuana is one of the most devastating things for our society. In Ohio, thanks to the stupid ballot measure process, voters approved full recreational marijuana in 2023. This piece from Kevin Sabet is one of the best resources chronicling the harms to our society so people like Kim Rivers can line their pockets.

-Marijuana support drops by 15 points among Republicans in just two years: People are being mugged by reality. The share of Republicans who thought marijuana use should be legal grew from 29% in 2010 to a record high of 55% in 2023. But then it plummeted to just 40% by November 2025. Imagine if Trump would be on the right side of this issue?

- Top MAGA influencer Emily Hart revealed to be AI — created by a guy in India: The “right” has become so dumbed down that Indians are now creating fake bot influencers that push the uncreative tropes and mannerisms that they have been acculturated to!

Technocracy

-IEA reports that 50% of all growth in electricity use is from data centers: It’s inconceivable that this is not the culprit for rising electricity prices. Overall global energy demand growth slowed to 1.3% in 2025, slightly below the previous decade’s average of 1.4% and significantly lower than in 2024, as global recessions have cooled demand. However, electricity use spiked 3% because of data centers. Furthermore, Utility Dive reports Texas’s peak demand for electricity could quadruple by 2032 because of data centers.

-OpenAI misses revenue target as it faces $1.5 trillion in commitments: OpenAI missed its revenue target last quarter. It already faced $1.5 trillion in debt obligations and now must confront them with less revenue. The company’s CFO is telling board members that the data center spending is unsustainable with such little revenue. This entire enterprise is a ponzi scheme.

- Hyperscale data center project in Utah — expected to generate and consume more power than entire state: The Box Elder County Utah Commission is about to sign off on a mega data center project on 40,000 acres of private and DOD lands that, when completed will eventually use 9 GWs of power. To my knowledge, that would be the largest energy user of all the hyperscalers. To put that in perspective, the entire state of Utah uses 4 GWs. It is inconceivable that this will not harm consumers, yet the state and counties are offering numerous use and property tax incentives, not to mention federal favors with land use. Gov. Spencer Cox complains about AI and digital addiction all the time, yet he won’t lift a finger to stop his state from becoming a parking lot for this Agenda 2030 dystopia.

- Georgia Power, the largest energy provider in the state, imposed six rate hikes in the last three years: CBS reports how Georgia has experienced six rate hikes in three years, perfectly coinciding with the state becoming a top five destination for data centers. Promises to not cause rate hikes rings hollow when they are already doing so.

-Archbald, PA residents revolt after town leaders plan 14% of its land for data centers: For those who accuse me of being anti-progress or anti-development, this story should give you a sense of the unprecedented nature of this data center conquest. Tucked in the Pocono Mountains northeast of Scranton, Archbald was a beautiful mountain town of 7,000. Now, town council leaders have sold out to Big Tech and plan to build six sprawling hyperscale data centers covering about 14% of the town’s land. Those campuses would include 51 data warehouses — each about the size of a Walmart Supercenter — including seven buildings encompassing more than a million square feet. If all the data centers were built, they would occupy about 2.5 miles of land.

We have simply never done this before. And remember, this is playing out to varying degrees in hundreds of places throughout the country. And of course, they offer nothing but surveillance and slop relative to edge computing. This Washington Post story chronicles how the acrimony is tearing apart the town. Over the past month, most of the seven-person Archbald Borough Council, along with several planning board members, have resigned.

-Local governments race to attract data centers, often in spite of concerns from their constituents: Here is another piece on how local government officials are bought out to screw with their constituencies. This piece again captures the shear magnitude of data centers, which is much greater than the power plants we need to power all of us plus the data centers.

“When you take into account the infrastructure needed to supply data centers with enough electricity and water to operate, the total land required can be 100 times the size of the footprints of the buildings themselves, “which are already pretty big,” said Miller.

The Piedmont Environmental Council created a map of data centers in Virginia in the absence of any such overview from the state, showing an estimated 370 million square feet of existing and proposed data centers.”

-Maine governor vetoes data center moratorium: Maine Gov. Janet Mills announced her veto of L.D. 307, which imposed a moratorium on data centers. What’s clear is that even though many Democrats are running on our issue, they strategically ensure that the bills are ultimately defeated because Big Tech controls the establishment elements of both parties. We saw the same thing in Virginia where the governor ensured even Democrat bills reining in data centers did not go the distance.

-More than 50% of internet traffic is composed of bots: The CEO of Lumen, which handles 65% of global internet traffic, penned a letter to other tech company heads warning that more than half of all internet traffic has now become bots. “The intensity of, and pace and the volume of data is proliferating quite rapidly,” she said in an interview. “More than 50 per cent of the traffic on the Internet today is created by autonomous workers. That’s remarkable because as most CEOs would tell you, we are just beginning our AI journey. So if it already comprises 50 per cent, imagine what it’s going to look like in a year, three years, five years.”

This is the crux of my argument on how the misallocation of capital and government-created monopolies are, for the first time, using technology to go backwards, not forwards. There is nobody who can look at you with a straight face and say the internet experience is not worse today than it was five years ago. We’ve ‘enshitified’ the internet with nothing but slop.

States

-The Arizona legislature passed the Medical Freedom Act, which would ban businesses, schools, and state or local governments from mandating medical interventions. That includes “any medical procedure, treatment, device, drug, injection, medication or action taken to diagnose, prevent or cure a disease.” So it’s not just the COVID shot. Sadly, the Democrat governor will not sign it. Unfortunately, in the 20 other states where we have trifectas, we lack governors willing to sign it. And in Florida, where we have a governor pushing for it in a special session, the speaker of the house is promoting it.

Elections

-Dems have cataclysmic 10-point lead in the Wisconsin generic ballot: In what was long considered the closest battleground state, Democrats now command a 10-point generic ballot lead according to a Marquite Law School poll.

-Poll shows Dem Talarico ahead in Texas Senate race: A Texas Public Opinion Research from April 17 to 20 found James Talarico leading Sen. John Cornyn by three percentage points, 44% to 41%, and Attorney General Ken Paxton by a margin of five percentage points, 46% to 41%. Even if this poll is too optimistic for Democrats, it aligns with the Wisconsin poll and demonstrates that Texas is in play. It doesn’t mean they will ultimate lose Texas, but it does mean that if Texas is this competitive, the GOP is completely screwed. At this point, that would not be a bad thing, so long as we have a plan post collapse.

Congress

-Micron pushes Congress to ban chip exports to China: For once, we actually have bipartisan support behind a good initiative to ban chip sales to China. In fact, Micron, the largest memory chip manufacturer in the U.S., is lobbying to pass the Match Act, which would do exactly that. So the question is why is the Trump administration not doing this on their own, given that we supposedly have to use all our land and power to “beat” China with data centers?

Immigration

- Former Deputy ICE Director Madison Sheahan invited a 19-year-old female junior staffer into her bed: I honestly, don’t know which category to place this story. But in a pattern we are seeing with the Trump fake right, and the Noem DHS in particular, degeneracy is rampant. Madison Sheahan allegedly invited a 19-year-old female junior staffer into her bed after a Trump campaign party in 2020 and engaged in a secret sexual relationship for two years. Madison Sheahan is seeking the Republican nomination for Ohio’s 9th congressional district, which is currently held by a Democrat. This is par for the course.

-Trump’s “gold card” granted to just one foreign national so far: I guess this is a good thing. Remember when Trump illegally created a visa program to pay $1 million and come here to potentially get put on a track to citizenship? Bloomberg reports that only one person has received this benefit so far.

-Trump DHS scaling back immigration arrests without warrant, at courthouses: There is a bright red line between immigration enforcement and other law enforcement in that the former does not require traditional due process if we are merely trying to send you back from where you came. Retreating from conducting courthouse arrests and entering homes without judicial warrants is not only a sign of unconditional surrender in itself, but it also helps affirm the precedent that immigration offenses be treated like every other domestic crime of a citizen, which means we will have to litigate every illegal immigrant out of here, which, of course, means we will never remove large numbers of them.

Trump administration

-Turning Point USA sets up meeting between White House and disgruntled MAHA leaders: It’s become obvious to RFK supporters and medical freedom activists that they were used as tools, so many of them are voicing opposition to decisions of this administration, such as their promotion of glyphosate and data centers. Clearly, when TPUSA gets involved, it’s not to pressure the White House on behalf of the activists but to pressure or charm the activists into standing down on behalf of the admin.

-Budget airlines including Frontier are pitching the US government on a $2.5 billion aid deal, as the White House continues talks with Spirit: After the White House expressed support for bailing out Spirit Airlines, now the other budget airlines are trying to get on the gravy train. The last thing we need to do is bail out these trashy airlines. They need to burn to the ground so that we can reset the baseline and restore human dignity to flying.

Foreign policy/Military

-Damage done to U.S. bases in Middle East expected to cost billions: I have a novel idea. Now that those bases are destroyed, just leave the rubble and spend the money on deterring China? There is no reason we should think about rebuilding those bases.

Economy

-College tuition has increased 914% since 1983: According to a report last month from JP Morgan, college tuition has increased 914% since 1983, more than any household item. Just eyeballing the numbers, this is roughly the same percentage increase in government subsidies to higher education and student loans over the same time! The more you subsidize something, the more you inflate it. From 2005 to 2025, education debt surged 343%, yet a record number of college graduates can’t land their first jobs. Now is the time to pull the plug on this circuitous cycle of failure.

-Half of Americans Say It’s Hard to Afford Food Now, according to a New Survey: If you want to know why the incumbent party will continue to get slaughtered, it’s all about affordability. And until someone has a plan to fix food and health care and cut spending, this will continue. According to a Lending Tree survey of 2,000 consumers, half said they were experiencing difficulty affording food, while only 22% expressed no concern at all. The kicker is that this included 57% of those in the cohort earning $100,000 or more. 84% report cutting back on restaurants, which is going to plague the economy long term.

Misplaced priorities.

That is how I would characterize the first 15 months of Trump’s second term. It is shocking to watch them focus on Big Tech, Big Crypto, random foreign policy, reauthorization of FISA Section 702, preempting states on housing, carbon capture, and data centers, and a massive new $1.5 trillion farm monopolization bill.

The focus should have been all along on immigration, cutting spending and inflation, reforming health care, food security, and medical freedom.

Instead of making their views more popular and impactful, they tried to gerrymander a few seats, as if that would make the difference in the face of a blue wave election. Now, Democrats, thanks to their retaliatory tactics, are slated to net four new seats in Virginia with the impending passing of their redistricting scheme tonight.

Thus, Democrats are coming back into power no matter what happens. The question we must all ask is what comes next. Are we going to continue playing the uniparty game or will we pick a few states and try to start a new movement that will serve as an oasis of ordered liberty.

-AI getting smarter means it’s harder to catch its mistakes: If you understand LLMs as statistical regressions that mimic patterns of information humans feed them, you will understand how perfecting these models will not make them super-human intelligence; it will merely make their fluency in human mimicking more authentic and therefore even harder to detect their mistakes, according to a new WSJ analysis.

-Former Border Patrol chief Bernard Looney has been named CEO of Wyoming startup Prometheus Hyperscale: This company is planning two AI data centers totaling $30 billion. A state that should be leading in ranching is now being turned into a Big Tech cesspool.

- A data center is proposed to go next to the blue-ribbon Montana trout water immortalized in the movie “A River Runs Through It.” Neighbors are scrutinizing the plan as industry insiders say the hunt is on in Wyoming and Montana for new data center sites. None of this will actually be operational, but it will permanently alter the landscape and its ownership.

- Microsoft To Triple Its Cheyenne Data Center Footprint With 3,200-Acre Land Buy: Wyoming just can’t catch a break now that it is being colonized for Chatslop centers. The Cheyenne area is already full of windmills, now Microsoft wants to triple its footprint for its existing data centers. For the life of me, with record high beef prices, I don’t understand why we don’t see a fraction of the concern from red state “Republicans” about promoting more farmland rather than promoting ChatGPT, which ironically and tragically, will come out of farmland.

-140 data centers planned for drought stricken Texas: According to an up-to-date analysis by Clearview, Texas has 84 operating data centers and 140 planned projects. But remember, this is not just about numbers. Most existing data centers outside of northern Virginia are not yet hyperscale. Current operating data centers in Texas have a total capacity of 3,789 MW. Planned data centers would add another 75,089 MW of capacity. There is a link in this article to the location of each one, so you can get up to speed on this for your local community in Texas. Again, there simply is not enough capital to build these out and power them even if we wanted to. This is all about the land grab.

- Virginia voter support for new data centers collapses from 69% in 2023 to 35% in new poll: According to a Washington Post poll, the truth is catching up with Big Tech lies. Now that people see the harms of data centers, they are getting more vocal and pressuring local officials to oppose them. Northern Virginia is the canary in the coal mine.

-Emerson poll of Michigan shows 2-1 opposition to data centers: When asked whether Michiganders wanted a data center near their communities, 55% opposed while only 27% supported the idea. Opposition was stronger among Democrats, but it’s still -12 among Republicans despite Trump’s strong support for it.

- Oklahoma farmer arrested and jailed for trespassing during AI data center town hall: Remember, the farmers arrested in February at a data center townhall meeting in Claremont, Oklahoma? Well, there are new details out. It turns out that he merely spoke for a minute over his allotted time, and then when prompted to cut his speech short, he walked up to the councilmen to hand out written copies of his speech. He was not only arrested, but evidently served time in jail. These are our people in what is supposed to be the heart of red America. Wake up!

-Generative AI Is Turning Workplaces Into Hopeless Gridlock: This article perfectly sums up the problem with elevating generative AI to an Oracle of Delphi and using it as a primary endpoint rather than an adjunct tool. “There’s a problem, though: the workers who remain often say they now have to fix a flood of error-ridden AI-generated “workslop” that’s burdening them, paradoxically, with more work than ever.”

“All this pointless busywork to correct AI-generated output results in hidden costs for companies that embrace the tech, according to The Guardian. One recent survey of 1,150 desk jockeys found that the 40 percent had encountered workslop — defined as “AI-generated content that looks good, but lacks substance” — in the course of their duties, forcing them to waste 3.4 hours per month dealing with it. At scale, that’s significant: all those hours wasted tally up to an estimated $8.1 million of lost productivity for a workplace with 10,000 workers.”

-Texas data center project named after Trump fails to materialize: What happens when things that are gaslit by government meet economic realities? The project in the Texas panhandle that was slated to take up an area the size of half of Manhattan and use over a gigawatt in power has failed to materialize because they cannot construct the cooling system. Fermi Inc., a startup co-founded by former Texas governor and Energy Secretary Rick Perry, was going to name this project after Trump. With the president’s support they got an IPO, but when reality hit, their stock price dropped 84%, and now investors are pulling out their shares.

-One NY data centers got $77 million in sales tax abatement for one job created: Rockland County, NY held a quiet town meeting with nobody in attendance to offer a JPMorgan data center $77 million in sales tax breaks, and all it had to do was create one job. This report demonstrates that once again the only way the data center movement can succeed is through special favors and a lack of transparency.

-DRAM and SSD Prices More than Doubled in Q1 2026: Who needs actual computers when you can just rent cloud space from Big Tech so they can surveil you? As I’ve mentioned before, edge computing is so much more useful than cloud-based LLMs, yet all our resources are being artificially diverted to data centers. This is causing PCs to become unaffordable, as DRAM prices surged 110% and SSD prices jumped 113-147% during the quarter.

- CEO of $1.5 Billion AI Startup Accused of Massive Fraud by Justice Department: Par for the course in an industry built upon “artificial” and hallucinations. “One of the largest schemes so far, concealed within the record-breaking valuations of the AI hype cycle, was iLearning Engines, a relatively young tech company that quickly scaled itself to a $1.5 billion market cap. A scathing statement by the US Department of Justice alleges that iLearning, an “out-of-the-box AI platform that empowers customers to ‘productize’ their institutional knowledge,” has been faking “virtually all its customer relationships and revenues” since January 2019.”

Congress

-Jim Jordan preparing to succeed Johnson as GOP House leader: This is the worst of all outcomes. Jordan has become so subversive, it would actually be a step down from Johnson, given that he has more clout with the right to disarm their opposition.

States

-DeSantis Admin moves to block Florida city from approving hyperscale data center: In a first of its kind, DeSantis became the first governor to use state authority to try to impede a city from approving a data center. Given the severe drought in the region, the DeSantis Department of Commerce warned the Fort Meade city council that the data center needs better plans for water and power before getting state permitting. The city ignored the wishes of the voters and unanimously approved a data center.

-DeSantis Admin will block illegals from attending Florida universities: Not that we should abide by judicial supremacism, but the Supreme Court ruled that illegals are entitled to K-12 education. However, why are we allowing them to attend state universities? Florida is now moving to implement a block administratively after RINOs refused to enact legislation, which was backed by the governor, to keep illegals out of the university system.

-Aspiring pot companies had big dreams for Florida. Reality has hit hard: Or put another way, DeSantis has hit hard. This article chronicles how marijuana was set to take off in Florida, and because of the passion and tenacity of one man, it did not. This is what we lack in other states.

-Utah Judge who gave Dems a free House seat had alleged affair with Dem lawyer arguing the case: Last year, I discussed how the Utah Supreme Court ruled against a Republican-led amendment tied to a redistricting effort, thereby adopting a Democrat map and usurping the power of the legislature. I had my friend Rep. Trevor Lee on the show to discuss his effort to impeach the judges, including Judge Diana Hagen. Of course Republicans failed to do it. Then again, Hagen was appointed by gov. Spencer Cox to begin with. Well, now the governor and legislative leaders announced an investigation into allegations of an inappropriate relationship between Hagen and attorney David Reymann, the lawyer who argued the redistricting case on behalf of the left. Just TWO weeks after she issued the ruling, Judge Hagen attended a party at the home of the lawyer, and she is now accused by her ex-husband of having a romantic relationship with this lawyer. This is what happens when you have judicial nominees from RINOs.

-How every medical freedom bill in Idaho was blocked this session: Here is a great synopsis from the Idaho Freedom Foundation on how every good health care bill was blocked in the House Healthcare and Welfare Committee this session. Until and unless we turn our focus to red state legislatures, we will continue to underperform in states where we should be running the table.

Immigration

442,637 people deported in FY 2025: According to ICE, nearly 443k people were deported in FY 2025, which runs from October 1, 2024 through Sept. 30 2025. So the numbers are a bit old and do include almost four months from the Biden administration. In total, that is 171k more people than the previous fiscal year. Either way, this is woefully underperforming relative to the magnitude of the Biden wave and what Democrats will do when they get back in power. The key focus should have been jurisdiction stripping of the courts, defunding sanctuary cities, real employment enforcement, and maritime removals.

-Trump allies with clubs pushed for more H-2B slaves: The WSJ reports on how Trump associates got him to expand the H-2B program. This is a glimpse into why Trump not only supports more worker visas but has ultimately taken the position that he doesn’t want to end illegal immigration either so long as they are working without a criminal record. He will eventually claim that mass deportations are impossible, but we all know the lynchpin of this issue: workplace enforcement.

-Rep. Roy introduces MAMDANI Act to denaturalize and deport Marxists and Islamic fundamentalists: This is the sort of legislation Republicans should be focused on, rather than reauthorizing Fisa Section 702. Rep. Chip Roy introduced bills to denaturalize and deport anyone given citizenship who turned out to be a support of communism or Islamic fundamentalism. This should be covered by current law, but this is the sort of message and legislation that Trump promised when elected but has shied away from.

Foreign Policy

-Netanyahu stunned Trump pulled the plug on Lebanon op: There are two important implications to this story. First, the reason there are forever wars is precisely because both parties have hamstrung Israel for years from achieving total victory, so it becomes a constant game of rebuilding, re-attacking Israel, then Israel re-defends, we hold them back from total victory, and then rinse and repeat. Second, the notion that Israel controls us rather than the other way around is proven every day by the fact that we clearly define the contours of any Israel military operation.

Elections

-Jon Hansen surges to second place in South Dakota poll: A new Mason Dixon poll has speaker Jon Hansen in second place for governor. Dusty Johnson is leading at 34%. He needs 35% to avoid a runoff, so the key is developing a credible challenger, and Hansen is emerging as that challenger. The internal numbers show that Hansen has a lot more room to grow and is gaining traction despite having the least money. The difference between electing Hansen or Johnson as governor is greater than the difference between electing Johnson and a Democrat.

The economy is broken beyond repair, and the only thing this administration cares about is the pursuit of fake “artificial general intelligence,” which is failing to deliver on its promises but is breaking our brain.

For now, here are some of the stories I’m looking at this week:

Economy

- UnitedHealth stock, $UNH, surges over +11% after US Medicare and Medicaid Services finalizes plans and payment policies, seeing a +2.5% annual increase for private insurers. This is venture socialism at its best, as a company’s entire wealth is built upon a government program!

-Q4 GDP revised to just 0.5%: US GDP growth falls from 4.4% to 0.5% in Q4 2025, well below the initially expected +2.8% growth. I warned you at the time that the big number celebrated by the White House was a fraud. We are left with even worse stagflation than under Biden.

-Consumer confidence plummets to lowest level: The latest University of Michigan consumer confidence survey shows consumer confidence at a record low. Also, the employment component dropped to 41 from 52, which is just 1 point shy of the lowest level since 2008. There will be much said about the GOP loss in November, but at the end of the day this is the biggest factor. Also, the same survey shows that the share of consumers saying their financial situation is worse compared to a year ago due to higher prices jumped to 54% in April vs. 47% in March, a new record.

-A Record 34% of February Home Sellers Cut Their List Price: According to Redfin, a record 34% of sellers cut their original asking price by some amount in February. Again, it’s still way too high, but this is a sign that the market is self-correcting…if the government would only stay out of it and avoid tampering with rates, more MBS purchases, or incentivizing oversupply.

Technocracy

-ChatGPT creates cognitive brain debt: Carnegie Mellon, Oxford, MIT, and UCLA researchers studied over 1,200 people’s reliance on ChatGPT and found that it impedes their ability to function without it, which is exactly what they are doing. 10 minutes of ChatGPT use was enough to undermine people’s ability to think for themselves. “ Across a variety of tasks, including mathematical reasoning and reading comprehension, we find that although AI assistance improves performance in the short-term, people perform significantly worse without AI and are more likely to give up. Notably, these effects emerge after only brief interactions with AI (approximately 10 minutes).” They found people’s ability to solve problems collapsed from 73% to 57%, and many skipped the task altogether out of cultural laziness created by these things.

-Princeton paper: Chatbots don’t improve research over search engines, they just do a better job of brainwashing: This is an amazing Princeton paper showing how chatbots, while often providing no better outcomes than search engines, tend to brainwash people much more than search engines because they think it is the Oracle of Delphi. They sampled 2,000 people who were prompted to choose a book; some were told to use search engines and some were told to use a Frontier AI chatbot. Researchers secretly marked every fifth book as “sponsored” content. When the sponsored book came up marked as such on a search engine – as we’ve all been accustomed to for years – only 22.4% of people chose the sponsored book. Clearly, most people recognize the bias of sponsored content at the top of a search engine. However, when the AI chatbot was told to steer people toward the sponsored books, 61.2% chose one!

-Punked! A researcher invented a fake eye condition called bixonimania, uploaded two obviously fraudulent papers about it to an academic server, and watched major AI systems present it as real medicine within weeks: Rather than conceding that it is simply unaware of this malady, the sycophantic nature of LLMs designed to mimic human behavior simply take a stab at fallacious material.

-Claude reproduced 95.8% of Harry Potter verbatim: There is nothing free market about copyright theft, and we’ve never allowed it for anything else. Yale and Stanford researchers were able to extract 95.8% of Harry Potter and 94% of Orwell’s 1984 from Claude by using simple prompts. By running 13 classic books through numerous other models, they found that clearly the contention that these models don’t store exact copies and only recognize patterns does not hold up to scrutiny.

-NYT analysis finds Google Gemini 90% accurate: Do you understand what a 10% fail rate is when we are supposed to rely upon it for completed tasks, as the industry desires?

-OpenAI pauses Stargate in U.K.: They are blaming regulation and power, but the bottom line is that they are out of cash and are cutting their losses.

Survey: most white-collar workers are skipping AI: In another sign of the exaggerated benefits of generative AI, a survey of 3,750 executives and employees found that more than 54% of workers bypassed their company’s AI tools over the past 30 days and completed the work manually. Another 33% haven’t used AI at all. There’s a reason why they have to electioneer, lobby, and mandate on behalf of their product.

-Nevada’s utility provider says data centers will use three times as much power as Las Vegas: The point being that the power is simply not there. They know it; we all know it. So this is merely about rezoning land, purchasing it from the people, and then sinking government behind their insolvent model.

-Microsoft closes below its 200-week average for three consecutive weeks: This is the first time this has occurred in 13 years. This is not the sign of a juggernaut AI revolution.

Foreign Policy

-U.S. pilot illegally detained in Guinea laces into Trump admin: Remember over two months ago, I noted how it was shocking how a two-bit country could illegally capture two domestic U.S. pilots and imprison them, and not suffer consequences? At the time, it was already 30 days into the saga. Well, now almost four months into it, one of the pilots is speaking out. Semafor reports that Brad Schlenker has accused the U.S. government of being “useless” in helping them. “I voted for this administration because they were supposed to protect Americans,” he said. This seems so emblematic of what we all feel as we are sold out to Big Tech and other special interests on the home front.

Elections

-Cook shifts four Senate races in Democrats’ favor: In a sign of Democrats’ growing momentum, the Cook Political Report has shifted its ratings in four key Senate races – Georgia, North Carolina, Ohio, and Nebraska — toward the party. I don’t even consider Georgia, a Dem seat, in play. I believe Dems will easily flip North Carolina at this point and have a good shot at Ohio and Alaska. But watch for Nebraska where Shane Osborne is launching another Independent run at the other RINO senator.

-Dem Rob Sand leading RINO Randy Feestra by 10 for Iowa Gov: This is a Democrat poll, so it’s likely somewhat inflated, but there is nobody in Iowa who disagrees that Republicans are in danger of losing the governorship. This is a classic example of our side losing with a terrible RINO while the other side runs a military veteran who is campaigning against carbon capture and data centers.

-AK Senate: Dem outraises incumbent RINO by 4-1: A number of polls already show Democratic candidate Mary Peltola beating incumbent Dan Sullivan. However, she now has the cash to press her advantage. Peltola raised $8.9 million in the first quarter, compared to just $2.1 million across Sullivan’s campaign committees.

Immigration

- ICE detained fewer non-criminals since retreat from Minneapolis: Well, we might not have gotten ‘unconditional surrender’ from Iran, but we did achieve it when Trump surrendered to Antifa in Minneapolis. According to new data published by Ice, the number of detainees plummeted by 12% since its peak in January. More telling, the average number of detainees without criminal records dropped by 21%. Just 15 months into this administration, the central campaign promise is dead.

-An illegal truck driver carrying 80,000 lbs of sugar crashed into the backyard of a home in Crockett, CA: Meanwhile, every day we see more stories of illegal alien truck driving accidents and sanctuary cities releasing murderers, yet Republicans can’t even utilize this endless (tragic) ammo to harness a budget reconciliation bill to defund sanctuary cities.

Trump admin

-The Trump administration has agreed to keep Rainbow Jihad flag at national monument: The Trump administration announced it was reversing the decision from February to remove the gay “pride” flag from the Stonewall National Monument in NYC. The reason? They are scared of a judge! So now a judge can just dictate which type of gay flag a previous administration elected to erect at a monument. Again, a judge could tell Trump he is not allowed to use hookers anymore, and he’d listen – perhaps the only thing that would get him to listen.

With everything going on in Iran and all the economic turmoil, I wanted to make sure you guys had access to some of the other big stories I’m working on. That’s why I need you to pass this weekly newsletter to your friends and family.

The failure of AGI but its success in destroying our land and economy is really my big focus for this week. Sam Altman just proposed a plan for a public wealth fund where every citizen would get a share in government-seeded funding for their companies. He’s also proposing robot taxes, a four-day work week, and a human “right” to access AI – all in an effort to gaslight people into thinking his product is something much more spectacular than it actually is.

Contrary to some of the GOP apologists who are attacking me, Altman is clearly revealing that AGI is not the new printing press but the new hammer and sickle. The fact that I’m one of the few conservatives even focused on this, much less fighting it, demonstrates the decrepit state of the American right.

Here are some of the stories I’m focused on after the slow holiday weekend:

Technocracy

-Microsoft says Copilot is for entertainment purposes only, not serious use: Microsoft’s Windows products have been circling the drain ever since they incorporated their AI into it, yet now for all their marketing of Copilot and capex spending on data centers they have a disclaimer stating that Copilot is only for entertainment, not for serious use.

Tom’s Hardware blog discovered the following disclaimers: “Copilot is for entertainment purposes only. It can make mistakes, and it may not work as intended,” the document said. “Don’t rely on Copilot for important advice. Use Copilot at your own risk.” This isn’t limited to Copilot, too. Other AI LLMs have similar disclaimers. For example, xAI says “Artificial intelligence is rapidly evolving and is probabilistic in nature; therefore, it may sometimes: a) result in Output that contains “hallucinations,” b) be offensive, c) not accurately reflect real people, places or facts, or d) be objectionable, inappropriate, or otherwise not suitable for your intended purpose.”

This begs the question: if they concede that LLMs are not reliable enough to complete major tasks and are just for chatslop entertainment, then why are we ripping up our land, water, and power on their behalf? Why are we misallocating resources from more functional uses of AI?

-Big Tech Spending $100 million on election: David Sacks, who is leaving the White House but will still loom large, created the Innovation Council Action, a new pro-AI group. They are planning to spend $100 million on campaigns pushing data centers and promoting generative AI slop. Again, a technology that is a pro-growth juggernaut does not need to spend this much on both electioneering and lobbying.

-Wharton study – you slop, you flop: This is a few months old, but it’s very pertinent to my thesis on how ChatGPT is making everyone dumber without actually adding much to the economy. The researchers gave nearly 1,000 high school math students access to ChatGPT during practice problems. They obviously solved the practice problems much better than the control group. However, when it came time for the test, they performed 17% worse than those who didn’t use ChatGPT. All chatbots accomplish is to outsource your thinking. When the researchers analyzed what students actually typed into ChatGPT, do you know the most common prompt used? “What’s the answer?” That’s all they wanted to know. And they further found that the AI made students more confident in their lack of abilities.

The brilliant (and funny) Gary Marcus (who has been on my show) commented on this study with a brilliant quip: “At first, in the early 2020s, I worried that LLMs were often confidently wrong, calling them “fluent spouters of bullshit”. (And I was right; they have been and continue to be.). But now we have a new problem which is that *people* who *learn* from LLMs are also often confidently wrong.”

-MIT Paper: ChatGPT is designed to make you delusional: We already knew this, but MIT researchers studied numerous people who used ChatGPT for hundreds of hours to experiment with the chatbots offering them false information. The more they used it, the more the chatbot affirmed their wrong information, which in turn gave them further delusional confidence that their erroneous fact pattern was true. The punchline is that it’s built into the LLM, which is trained on human feedback, to be rewarded by users for providing sycophantic responses. Sort of like a child, the LLM is encouraged to produce more of what it receives positive feedback.

- Hallucinated citations are polluting the scientific literature: Nature found that between 2-6% of papers in computer science conferences and publications suffer from hallucinated citations due to people using AI to write their papers. Just one year prior, the rate of citations that could not be traced was just 0.3%. That is at least a six-fold increase in fake academic citations in just one year! Welcome to the great revolution of human progress!

- OpenAI CFO Sarah Friar has clashed with CEO Sam Altman over timing of OpenAI’s IPO, financial solvency: The Information reports that Friar believes OpenAI is way too deep in the hole to go public this year. She reportedly said “she wasn’t sure yet whether OpenAI would need to pour so much money into obtaining AI servers in the coming years or whether its revenue growth, which has been slowing, would support the commitments.”

- In new Quinnipiac poll, Americans oppose building AI data centers in their communities by 65-24 margin: Also, Fifty-five percent of Americans think AI will do more harm than good in their day-to-day lives, while 34 percent think AI will do more good than harm.

-Oracle lays of 18% of its workforce: If cloud-based LLMs were the way of the future, Oracle would not be laying off 18% of its workforce, lose half its valuation since it was artificially juiced up last summer, and accrue $124 billion in debt with cash flow problems. This is on top of 10,000 people already laid off.

-America dependent on China for data centers: Here is the irony of the whole, ‘we have to build data centers to beat China’ argument: We rely heavily on Chinese steel, copper, and imported circuit breakers to build them!

- Half of US data centers planned for 2026 are expected to be delayed or canceled: Bloomberg reports that aside from the lack of capital for these projects, there is a shortage of electrical equipment, such as transformers, switchgear and batteries. Like I’ve been saying, most of this won’t be built and it’s all a bubble, but what will be permanent is the rezoning of land and the transfer of its ownership to Big Tech and other government-favored entities.

Economy

-Gallup: Healthcare affordability is the number one concern: According to a recent Gallup poll, the affordability of healthcare is the number one concern, with no close second. Obamacare did all this, but Republicans are so pathetic and muddled, they managed to own the liability without even repealing it. We should be crushing it on healthcare.

-Microsoft stock loses 23% of value in Q1: Microsoft closed Q1 with the worst performance since 2008. If AI is such a juggernaut, this would not happen.

-U.S. Businesses are hiring at the slowest pace in more than 15 years: The hiring rate has fallen to 3.1% in February 2026, the lowest since 2011 when we were still recovering from the Great Recession. Now would be a great time to push a moratorium on foreign workers, but I don’t make the decisions. The steepest decline was in construction, and this is with all of the data center capex.

Elections

-Record number of Republicans retiring: House Republicans are experiencing retirement numbers not seen since the 1930s. This is both a push and a pull. They are leaving because they know the political environment is terrible for the GOP. But the more they retire, the more strain it puts on the map and makes it more likely the Democrats will pick up even more seats.

-Democrat David Jolly leads Byron Donalds by 9 in Palm Beach County: A new St. Pete poll has the Democrat candidate for Florida governor leading Donalds by 9 in Palm Beach. Donalds is a disaster but this also shows that the anti-Trump backlash has come to Florida. Although Palm Beach has been historically blue, DeSantis won it in 2022 and Trump came within one point of winning. A 9 point deficit probably still sustains a statewide GOP win, albeit a very narrow one.

-Poll shows Virginia redistricting initiative favored to win: A poll conducted by the Washington Post and George Mason University, finds that 52% of likely VA voters plan to support the redistricting amendment while 47% are opposed. The vote is in just two weeks, and opponents are being outspent 10-1. The map will likely result in Republicans losing four of their five existing congressional seats in the state. This means that even if the GOP redistricting in Texas doesn’t collapse under a blue wave, they will have gained nothing from investing all their capital in that one endeavor.

- Republicans may not be able to count on the MAHA movement’s support this year: A new Politico poll shows a majority saying the admin has not done enough for MAHA, including 41 percent of Trump’s 2024 voters. They view the GOP as “more likely to be influenced than Democrats by lobbyists for the food and pesticide industries.” Another example of political malpractice.

Trump administration

-Pete Hegseth ends gun-free zones at military bases: This came well too late into Trump’s second term, but a very welcome development, as Secretary of War Pete Hegseth announces the end of the restriction on soldiers carrying weapons on their own bases.

Culture

-Germany experiences buyer’s remorse on legalizing marijuana: Two years after Germany passed partial legalization, government officials are feeling the same buyer’s remorse over increased addiction and cannabis-related psychoses. Meanwhile, the entire benefit of reducing the black market – just like in the U.S. – never materialized, and in some ways, it’s gotten worse.

-Just 8% of Israeli youth (18-22) identify as left-wing: A new survey shows 78% of Israeli youth identify as right wing, while 8% identify as left wing. There is no western country that comes close to this trajectory. In fact, other western countries are birthing a new generation of retards. There is this bizarre new phenomenon among the online right pundits to obsessively focus upon or attack Israel. But rather than attack it, why not emulate it?

States

-Indiana strips 1,800 illegals of CDLs: Well, it took numerous fatalities from illegal alien truck drivers, but the Indiana government has finally clamped down on CDLs. It’s still shocking how the majority of red states have still failed to do anything about it. Moreover, what really needs to be done is the imposition of a 10-year mandatory minimum for any illegal caught driving a truck.

As we begin this holiday week for Christians and Jews, it’s important to remember that there is no solution to our myriad of problems without God.

We are now suffering endless stagflation and failed campaign promises amidst a poorly timed war - all designed to make us languish from the lowest common denominator of GOP control. I’ll be covering the main topics on my show this week [subscribe here], but here are some other stories I’m focused on, particularly as it relates to the data center bubble:

Technocracy

-Intellectual property rights for me, but not for thee: The Atlantic has a great article showing how the Tech companies are zealous about defending their own intellectual property rights even as they build AI off rampant IP theft.

-Electricity rates have jumped 5% so far this year: The common refrain is that data centers will pay their own way, except rates are already going up because of data centers.

-Who governs and audits AI’s mistakes? Alex Prompter penned a vital summary to a recent paper explaining the challenges of governing and auditing AI after implementing it throughout a company. Sure, on paper, AI can seemingly do a lot of static tasks and even analysis and decision-making. But inevitably, in a dynamic situation, they make mistakes or simply fail to adapt to the evolving environment, but their impressive presentation offers the veneer of competency. The upshot of the paper, in my view, is that if we are rushing to implement AI decision-making but lack the governing and audit structure to oversee it, we are about to degrade an unlimited number of functions in society and the economy. We certainly saw this with the AWS blackouts.

-Wharton study: Chatbots creating cognitive surrender, often to errors: Related to the theme from the previously mentioned paper, Wharton conducted a study of people who rely on AI for answers and found that human verification breaks down because the mind just surrenders to AI. Out of 1,372 participants and 9,593 trials, people turned to AI on over 50% of questions. They found that when AI was correct, people followed it and trusted it 92.7% of the time. But what about when it was wrong (which they verified in the study)? When it was wrong, users still followed it 79.8% of the time! So even if we trained people to verify, they tend to get lazy.

-Amazing study showing how LLMs copyright verbatim worse than previously thought: This paper dispels the myth that the LLMs mainly develop patterns rather than complete memorization. “We show that finetuning bypasses these protections: by training models to expand plot summaries into full text, a task naturally suited for commercial writing assistants, we cause GPT-4o, Gemini-2.5-Pro, and DeepSeek-V3.1 to reproduce up to 85-90% of held-out copyrighted books, with single verbatim spans exceeding 460 words, using only semantic descriptions as prompts and no actual book text.”

-OpenAI terminates Sora video slop: Sora was OpenAI’s video slop factory and copyright theft sewar. They are shutting it down after Disney pulled out the $1 billion investment. “As we focus and compute demand grows, the Sora research team continues to focus on world simulation research to advance robotics that will help people solve real-world, physical tasks,” OpenAI said in a statement. This is the first time I’ve agreed with Open AI. If you cut all the special favors and unnatural uses of land we accord to no other industry, and they are forced to operate within the natural contours of society, it will force them to focus investments on things that have better ROI.

-Trump will appoint Mark Zuckerberg, Larry Ellison and Jensen Huang to the President’s Council of Advisors on Science and Technology. The council will weigh in on AI policy and other issues. What could go wrong?

-Why a true free market would not have sustained generative AI/data center model: From Peter Earle – exactly the case I’ve been making: “The problem is not that AI must be fake; it is that a very real technological advance can be financed, priced, and physically built in ways that are wildly uneconomic. That distinction matters because AI is about as roundabout as modern capitalism gets. “ “The Fed cut the federal funds target range to 0 to 0.25 percent in March 2020 and kept it there until liftoff began in March 2022. ....The relevant Austrian point is that the seedbed for this boom was years of money priced as if capital were infinite, patient, and nearly free: precisely the sort of signal that makes entrepreneurs think the economy has more real savings available for long-gestation projects than it actually does.

-Kentucky farm family rejects $26 million offer for 600 acres of land from unnamed AI data center: Delsia Bare is a hero from northern Kentucky who turned down an offer for her land that was seven times its value. She said she’d rather focus on feeding America. Now, if a landowner can turn down $26 million to focus on feeding America, why can’t politicians focus on feeding America food rather than chatslop and the surveillance state?

-Amazing article on understanding the LLM bubble: It’s very long, but after reading it you will understand why the talking points from the Trump admin and the fake right are straw men and false choices. The article is divided into three parts: 1) the economic mode of LLM capex is insolvent 2) this bubble was deliberately engineered by investors pursuing the largest IPO payday in history, who managed to subvert the normal workings of capital markets; 3) the LLM bubble is fundamentally different and more dangerous than past U.S. investment bubbles because there are three overlapping bubbles at play: the corporate overinvestment bubble, the stock market overvaluation bubble, and a political expectations bubble about drivers of future economic growth.

-WV on the hook for $960 million in transmission lines to power…Northern Virginia data center alley: Talk about paying for the rope to hang yourself! WV taxpayers are now on the hook for $960 million to pay for transmission lines to cut through its land (in addition to all the windmills and data centers raping its land) in order to power Loudon County, VA power lines. Welcome to red state America!

Immigration

-Number of foreign medical students has nearly doubled over the past 9 years: The number of foreign medical students taking residency spots has nearly doubled to 7,000 per year in recent years. Meanwhile, the number of residencies has not increased at all. That is the choke point of our medical system and the doctor shortage. We need more residencies and fewer foreign students.

- AZ SB1421- This bill bars illegal aliens from opening bank accounts, cashing checks, or obtaining loans by prohibiting financial institutions from accepting foreign identification cards or ITINs as sole identification. It is a simple bill that would make life untenable in the U.S. without legal status. It passed the Senate and will get a House vote soon. Unfortunately, there is a Democrat governor who will veto it. However, why is this not the law in the 22 trifecta states?

-Chinese immigrants indicted for planting explosives at MacDill Air Force Base: What happens when you bring in hundreds of thousands of Chinese every year? “Indictments were unsealed charging Alen Zheng and his sister, Ann Mary Zheng, in connection with the device, which was found at the base’s visitor center on March 16. FBI Director Kash Patel said Alen Zheng fled to China, where he remains, and Ann Mary Zheng is in custody for accessory and evidence tampering.”

States

-Seattle jailbreak is unfathomable: Yet that is the sort of anarcho-tyranny that is awaiting all of us: A Seattle man who shot and killed an eight-month pregnant Korean-American woman and nearly killed her husband when they were driving to work has been found not guilty by reason of insanity.

-Idaho Senate blocks anti-Sharia bill: Forget about shutting down Muslim Brotherhood mosques, we can’t even get a bill passed in Idaho that would prohibit courts from using Sharia law. S. 1233 was voted down 15-19. Republicans have a 29-6 majorities, which means nearly half the GOP senators voted no.

Iowa RINOs continue to promote carbon capture: The House passed a bill (HF 2104) in January to ban the use of eminent domain for carbon pipelines, as it did last year. Then, the Senate Commerce Committee amended and advanced the bill to basically allow carbon capture companies to use more avenues to get around landowners who oppose them. Last year, Gov. Reynolds vetoed the bill; now the Senate is doing her bidding. Iowa Republicans are in for a rude awakening in November.

-Tina Turner for Indiana House: Please donate to the campaign of Tina Turner for Indiana House district 57 (Mooresville) – especially you Hoosiers. She is a long-time friend, one of our earliest fans, and has done so much to help me on the tech side of my show for years. She has a heart of gold, the convictions of a faithful servant of God, and the policy knowledge we are lacking elsewhere. She has long been involved in Indiana Republican politics and has never wavered. She will smash the AI data center Baal taking over the state. We badly need to build a Freedom Caucus there, and she would be a part of that. She is one of several listeners who have taken up my call to run for local office.

Elections

-Donald Trump endorses, opposes, then re-endorses a Colorado RINO. Last October, Trump endorsed RINO freshman Jeff Hurd of CO-3 for re-election, as he has done for most bad incumbents. Yet, last month, he yanked his endorsement for him and instead endorsed conservative challenger Hope Scheppelman. Of course, he did so over the wrong issue: tariffs. Last week, he reversed course, drove Scheppelman out of the race, and has now re-endorsed Hurd. So the next time anyone blamed the generic “RINOs” for Trump’s failures, just understand that he controls this party and all its dynamics more than anyone in history, so if you are unhappy about the results, take it up with the man at the top.

-Dem up 8 points in North Carolina Senate: North Carolina has been the reddest presidential swing state, and Republicans have held the Senate seats for ages. But Dems are slated to flip it, and it won’t even be close. Roy Cooper is leading establishment Republican Michael Whatley 49-41 in a poll conducted by a pro-Republican outlet.

-Republicans cede Wisconsin supreme court race: Relatedly, given that red states are now swing states this year, states like Wisconsin have become so uncompetitive that Rs have essentially ceded the supreme court seat to the Ds, which will give them a long term majority. Dems are slated to flip an open R seat after flipping another seat last year. They are outspending the Republican by 15-1. They will have a commanding 5-2 majority for years to come after Republicans controlled the court for years.

-Dem leading in Wisconsin-3: Democrat Rebecca Cooke is leading incumbent RINO Derrick Van Orden by 1 point in Wisconsin-3. The reason this is significant is because Democrats only need 3-4 seats to flip the House, yet there are 9 Republicans in districts that Harris carried, and there are another 16 (by my count) in districts Trump won by fewer points than Wis-3 (7.4%). Also, remember there are at least 26 Republican incumbents retiring. The real question at this point is not if Democrats win the House, but if they win it by 20, 30, or more seats.

-Alaska Senate – Dem up by 5: Trump won Alaska by 13 points, yet Democrat Mary Peltola is leading incumbent RINO Dan Sullivan 52-47.

Economy

-Only 22% happy with the job market: Since covid, we’ve suffered intractable inflation. But now the “stag” part of the stagflation is kicking in. According to Gallup, only 28% have confidence in the US job market, down from 70% in 2022. And we know how Republicans performed in 2022! Gallup now shows for the first time ever that more workers attest to personally struggling with finances (49%) than thriving (46%).

-S&P PMI shows stagflation: Productivity was revised down for Q4, falling from 2.8% to 1.8% while manufacturing was revised down from -1.9% to -2.5%. The data is projecting a 1% growth rate for this year. Together with the pricing, this is textbook stagflation.

-Import/export prices exploded in Feb to double-digit annualized rates w/ imports up 1.3% M/M, the hottest print since Mar ‘22. This is before the war factors in for next month’s report.

-M2 money supply now 46.3% since Covid: In case you think inflation will ebb, the M2 money supply set a new record last month, rising 0.9% M/M, which is the largest monthly increase since October 2021. What the GOP has failed to articulate – because they agree with it – is how the welfare state is forcing them to print more money, which is why people can’t afford life without that very welfare.

Culture

-A convoy Nebraska ranchers deliver hay to areas crushed by wildfires: Typically, we highlight negative cultural stories in this section, but this is something that is right with America. A convoy of over 15 semis loaded with 700 bales of hay left Oakland, Nebraska last week to help ranchers affected by wildfires in western Nebraska. As I’ve said before, ranchers are our best people. Yet, Trump and the GOP have decided to side with Big Tech and carbon capture over these people.

-Disgraced Butler, PA Secret Service agent was a lesbian “married” to illegal alien woman? Remember that dumpy the girl-boss in charge of protecting Trump in Butler who looked like a buffoon handling her gun after the shooting? Well, she just got busted for “marrying” another woman who is an illegal from Brazil. That in itself says a lot, but the bigger question is: 14 months into the Trump administration, how did she still have a job?

-Freddie/Fannie to now accept crypto-backed mortgages: Look, I’m all for the freedom to use crypto for whatever you want. But it clearly demonstrated that it is not what people thought it was and is not a stable currency, but more of an asset bubble commodity like everything else. That is fine. But at a time when the federal government already gaslights and backs insolvent mortgages that the market could not sustain (which caused both asset bubbles this century), do we really want to extend more tenuous affordability standards? This is not free market. I’m fine with private lenders allowing someone to do this, not the government. We all know this is coming from the corrupt crypto cronies in the admin who are aligning policy with their private investments.

We woke up this morning to the news that President Trump instructed DOD to postpone strikes on power and energy plants for five days due to talks with Iran. I don’t even know what we’re doing here. This is what I feared from day one – that we’d go in half-baked and incur all the liabilities of a war without the benefits.

Meanwhile, thanks to the stupid GOP strategy of giving Democrats everything they wanted on government funding minus DHS, we now have chaos at airports with no plans to get anything we want on ICE policy. The negative efficacy of this GOP trifecta is setting in quickly. I’ll discuss this and more on today’s show. Subscribe to the video version here.

Culture

-In 2013, 34% of Democrats said their sympathies were with Israelis vs. only 18% who sided with Palestinians. That has more than reversed: In 2026, only 17% of Democrats sided with Israelis vs. 67% siding with Palestinians, according to an NBC poll. Sympathies among independents for the so-called Palis jumped 27 points as well. Incidentally, support for Israel among Republicans has remained steady, albeit support for Palis, while still low among GOP voters, did grow by five points. Again, as I constantly say, there is no need for Americans to be obsessed over Israel, but sympathizing with them over Jihad is a simple IQ and moral test, in at least the same way we’d expect Americans to sympathize with Taiwan over China. Such a precipitous rise in sympathy for the most violent, degenerate culture in the world is emblematic of serious cultural rot in this country.

-America’s math and reading scores tanked after schools ditched textbooks for screens: Numerous studies are now finding “cognitive offloading” and cognitive decline among children who rely on AI for schoolwork. At a time when we all recognized school children were falling behind in math and reading, we decided to exacerbate the problem.

Technocracy

Professors Say AI Is Destroying Their Students’ Ability to Think: Students are “incapable of reading and analyzing, synthesizing data.“ This should surprise nobody.

- 54% of companies have already reduced or plan to reduce employee compensation to free up capital for AI spending: According to a new survey by ResumeBuilder.com of 866 U.S. business leaders, 54% of companies have already reduced or plan to reduce employee compensation to free up capital for AI investments. Look, I am all in favor of efficiencies in technology that might cut some jobs. But you know what? Every such efficiency usually creates more jobs on net in the long run. That is not happening here because the allurement of AI investment is being gaslit by unnatural governmental favors and monopolization of the public square. If you read the survey, it’s clear that companies are being pressured into this by perceived competitiveness that is not really reflective of reality.

“There is real pressure, both internal and external, driving these decisions,” says Haller. “Boards and investors are asking hard questions about AI strategy, and leaders feel they cannot afford to sit on the sidelines. The risk of falling behind is being treated as more urgent than the risk of losing talent. That is a short-sighted trade-off. When the job market shifts back in employees’ favor, these companies will find it much harder to attract and retain the people they need.”

Everything with AI is all about a speculative future with no concrete benefits now. None of this would get off the ground without data centers.

-AI bubble now top financial concern on Wall Street: According to a Bank of America (BofA) survey of investment-grade credit investors released in February 2026, the threat of an “AI bubble” emerged as the top concern, surpassing traditional worries about trade and credit quality. Wall Street is now catching on.

-Verona, Wisconsin gets rid of Flock cameras: The city council voted to remove the cameras, and when the company refused to remove them, the mayor had them covered with plastic bags. This is yet another example of where the Democrats are beating us on privacy vs. the surveillance state. I know the left hates these things because they are pro-criminal, but we don’t need a mass surveillance state that will be used against all of us in order to deter crime. In fact, it’s the very same venture socialist Republicans in with Big Tech who support jailbreak “criminal justice reform.” I’d rather actually lock up the bad guys and not cast a wide net on the broader public.

-Anthropic’ s own research shows generative AI making human code developers worse: “AI use impairs conceptual understanding, code reading, and debugging without delivering significant efficiency gains.” - That’s the actual conclusion of Anthropic’ s paper, which is in line with my thesis that generative AI has illusory efficacy but ultimately fails at the promise but is just good enough to degrade cognitive abilities so that when we need humans to fix the problems, we won’t have competent people left. What the paper essentially finds is that acculturating people to chatbot prompts is not just replacing the need to type more, it is replacing critical thinking. Then, once you ship off the coding to an AI assistant, when it inevitably makes a mistake, you can’t debug it because you didn’t make it. Also, because it provides illusory productivity with the gain of speed, it masks the problems until things break, like we saw earlier in the year with the Amazon platform shutdowns.

- A rogue AI agent recently triggered a major security alert at Meta, by taking action without approval that led to the exposure of sensitive company and user data to Meta employees who didn’t have authorization to access the data. Get used to this becoming a regular occurrence as we rely on AI for everything, rather than using it as an adjunct tool as part of a broader process.

- Cloudflare CEO predicts that bot traffic will overtake human web traffic by 2027 due to the rise of AI agents: Welcome to the ‘enshitification’ of the internet, where everything is now fake. Honestly, I’m surprised that bots don’t already constitute a majority of internet traffic, but Cloudflare CEO Matthew Prince is saying that bots will constitute the majority of internet traffic by next year.

-Planned 10-gigawatt Softbank data center in Ohio might be the largest in the world: The 3,700-acre facility will require a $33 billion natural gas plant with a bunch of ugly gas turbines that are the equivalent of nine nuclear reactors! For perspective, 10gws is one-third of Ohio’s entire generation in 2024. 10 GWs is roughly the use of 8-10 million households! There is no way they have the power for this or the money to pay for it in the long run. What exactly are they producing that will generate enough revenue?

Elections

-A trio of GOP groups is planning to deploy $5 million to defeat five Republican lawmakers in Indiana who defied Donald Trump on redistricting, reports Politico’s Adam Wren, though spending has yet to commence. An outfit run by Sen. Jim Banks called Hoosier Leadership for America is reportedly leading the charge, with support from Turning Point USA and Club for Growth also “expected.” It’s amazing what Con inc. can do in primaries when they are willing to fight. In this case, it’s about redistricting, which is all they are focused on.

-Democrat turnout is bonkers: Illinois held its midterm primaries last Tuesday night, and once again we saw Democrat turnout at unprecedented levels. In Tuesday’s Illinois primaries, the Democratic Senate race saw a nearly 50% increase in turnout compared to the last midterm election in 2022. The 8th Congressional District saw a 63% increase, and the 9th District saw a 71% increase. The midterms are going to be bad…really bad.

Economy

-PPI comes in very hot: February PPI was up 0.7% M/M (which is 8.5% annualized!) and 3.4% Y/Y. Core PPI is now up 3.9%. This is the highest in 12 months. Also, services were up 0.5% M/M while products were up even more - 1.1%. Remember, this data does not yet factor in the spike in oil from the war. This is why the economy sucks. And it’s mainly because of the debt, although I would argue that this is the first report that seems to indicate the tariffs are beginning to take a toll.

- CNBC: One in four unemployed Americans have now been looking for work for over six months: stagflation is really bad.

-The U.S. Treasury bought back $15 billion of their own debt one day last week, surpassing the prior week’s $14.7 billion purchase as the largest Treasury buyback in history.

-”When insurance, gas, repairs, and maintenance are included, the total cost of owning a vehicle has risen more than 40 percent since January 2020“. These are the real-world costs of endless debt from our government. Of course, in the case of cars specifically, there are also the federal mandates on car construction and EVs that have driven up the cost of insurance. The average monthly new-car payment reached $774 in January, up from $588 in January 2021, according to Edmunds, an auto research firm. More than 20% now have monthly payments of about $1,000, a record. Auto loans that were at least 60 days delinquent reached 1.45 percent in the third quarter, nearly 28 percent higher than three years ago.

- US Median Rent Hits 4-Year Low, 30th Straight Month of Decline: This is the leading indicator of housing prices about to collapse, especially in the South. The last thing we want to do now is pass a massive subsidy bill to grow HUD and encourage and subsidize more overdevelopment – along with Section 8 – in the South.

Immigration

- Jacksonville Sheriff T.K. Waters rejects Florida Immigration Council over mass deportation letter to Trump“: Last week, a group of sheriffs, most of whom are supportive of red flag laws, announced they oppose the Florida plan for street-level enforcement outside of those with criminal records. This is part of the stupid Florida Immigration Council that was created by the legislature as a compromise when they were fighting against the governor’s authority to remove illegals from the state. Thankfully, the Jacksonville sheriff stood up to the group and rejected their premise.

- Trump Told Inner Circle Some Mass Deportation Policies Went Too Far: Trump hijacks our issue, badly bungles its implementation, and now contaminates its messaging yet complains that it’s no longer a winning issue.

States

- Off-duty NYPD captain charged after pummeling alleged sex creep: Welcome to anarcho-tyranny in Sharia-run New York City. Capt. Kai Bowen, 42, while off duty, allegedly grabbed 67-year-old Mahadeo Narain and beat him up because a day earlier he had groped a 15-year-old girl who was a relative of the cop. Arresting the cop while this creep was out of jail is the embodiment of both anarcho-tyranny but also sharia law that now runs NYC.

-Kansas Senate Bill 522: This amazing medical freedom bill introduced last week in the Kansas Legislature would prohibit government agencies, employers, schools, and businesses from denying services or employment based on a person’s medical decisions, including whether they accept or refuse vaccines, tests, masks, or other medical interventions. These provisions would apply even during an emergency. Individuals who believe their rights were violated under the law could file complaints with the Kansas Attorney General, who would be authorized to investigate and impose civil penalties of up to $50,000 per violation.

-Indiana University helped fundraise for Hamas shell group: This is what we have going on in red state universities. The Muslim Philanthropy Initiative, a unit of Indiana’s Lilly Family School of Philanthropy at Indiana U, organized events in July 2025 and this January with the Hayat Yolu Association, an Istanbul-based nonprofit that claims to distribute humanitarian aid to Gaza and other war-torn Muslim areas. What is Hayat Yolu? Earlier this month, the Treasury Department sanctioned Hayat Yolu earlier for being a “sham charity” that has “provided significant material support to Hamas.”

Rep. Andrew Ireland (the young Indiana star I had on the show last week) penned a letter to Indiana U demanding they cut ties. This is the sort of full-time investigative and oversight work we need conservatives to do in red states, unfortunately.

-Last Columbia U rioter released from custody: Remember the violent Palestinian riot that took over Columbia University? As of now, there are zero people left behind bars. Welcome to the Trump DOJ.

Isn’t it amazing that we are in the depths of a new war, and yet it’s not even anywhere near the top story? A lot of that is because our military does a good job at destroying the enemy, so long as we don’t engage in nation building. In fact, the only casualties we’ve had are because of our dumb, unprotected bases in countries designed to do nation building. We’d have zero fatalities if not for those bases.

Meanwhile, the much bigger war is here at home, where we are faced with the twin threats of Islam and Antifa. I’m going to be covering those threats in great detail on the podcast, but I wanted to reserve this letter for some other news I’m focused on. We’re getting crushed in elections, the economy is in a permanent tailspin of stagflation, and data center-based generative AI continues to fail its promises while destroying our lives. That, and so much more below!

Technocracy

- NBC News poll reveals AI favorability at just 26%: Nearly twice as many people have a negative view of AI as a positive view. Also, 57% said they believe the risks of AI outweigh its benefits, compared with 34% who said the opposite. Moreover, the demographic groups with the most negative views of AI are voters ages 18-34, where it’s negative 44! What’s a shame is that I’m not even opposed to AI at all; it’s the ridiculous focus on generative AI and chatbots purveyed through mega data centers that are the problem. But if we are going to entreat the public to the worst and most negative forms of it, of course they will oppose it.

- Nearly 10,000 authors publish empty book to protest against AI stealing their work: Yes, chatbots can do some cool things, but if that technology comes through stealing intellectual property, it should not be allowed the same way we don’t allow others to profit off theft.

- Amazon is holding an emergency meeting to address website crashes caused by errors in AI-assisted coding: So politicians continue to tout AI assistants as living gods rather than sparingly useful tools even as Amazon admits that it is responsible for many outages. They are holding a meeting with engineers on March 26 to deal with the fallout from four major outages in a single week after AI tools suggested unsafe software changes. Amazon admits they are still figuring out the best rules for how to safely use these powerful AI tools during daily work by trying to speed up coding without suffering lapses.

Here’s the irony: to stop future crashes, the company is now forcing senior engineers to manually review any code changes made by AI assistants. They are also investing in agentic safeguards, which are AI systems that act like digital hall monitors to catch errors before they cause problems. So they are spending even more time to deal with its problems. Now, look, there is nothing wrong with this if we allowed the free market to work and waited until the technology appropriately filled the niche it was designed for. But with the government offering special favors and monopolizing the public square to exaggerate and misdirect agentic AI’s utility, that has forced companies into an unnatural race to the bottom, which serves nobody.

- Meta is planning layoffs of 20% of its staff: You’d expect AI to generate so much productivity it would spawn more hiring, yet Reuters is reporting that Meta is planning to cut 20% of its staff because it is so cash-strapped from data centers. I’ve never seen so much sacrifice for one form of investment that has failed to yield any substance.

-Study: Median hallucination rate for 35 AI platforms was 25! A new study tested 35 AI models across 172 billion tokens of real document questions. The results showed a median hallucination rate of 25% across all platforms. But even for Q&A about a document’s content directly fed to the AI, it resulted in a 5-7% hallucination rate, so you could imagine what would happen if we relied on it for abstract advice as a Greek god, per the desires of the Big Tech bros.

-Stanford uncovers ChatGPT sycophancy: Stanford researchers analyzed 11,500 real conversations across 11 different AI models and found that every single model consistently agrees with the user 50% more than a human would. This is not only a problem because people rely on a product that increasingly causes errors, but it is also changing human behavior. As they note, the users who got validated by AI became completely unwilling to compromise. They refused to apologize. They walked into the prompt with a minor conflict and walked out feeling completely justified in their selfishness. “These preferences create perverse incentives both for people to increasingly rely on sycophantic AI models and for AI model training to favor sycophancy,” concluded the study.

-Rural Oklahoma fire department turns down $250k grant from Google to protest data center: What a great story from KTUL! After Google tried to bribe the locals in Osage County to support a massive hyperscale data center, the Rock Volunteer Fire Department turned down a $250k donation from them. This is a county Trump won by 41 points. These are the people protesting this nonsense. This is the future movement we must cultivate. We might not be able to beat the globalists at the source level, but in our areas we can conserve our way of life by saying no to solar, wind, data centers, carbon capture, smart cities, Flock cameras, and Section 8.

States

-Idaho RINOs announce “Republican Roadblock Caucus”: Just how broken are red state Republicans? There are two Republicans that openly pledged to block “conservative” legislation, yet they remain members of the party in good standing! Imagine a caucus in California of Democrat members pledging to block all liberal legislation.

-Warren County, VA RINOs use Democrats to supplant Conservatives: You’d think that with Democrats controlling Virginia with an iron fist, Republicans in the remaining red counties, such as Warren (where Trump carried almost 70%), would unite to create a conservative sanctuary. Instead, liberal Republicans brought in Democrats and used local law enforcement to block conservatives from the party meeting so they could elect a new county party chair. At some point we must realize that we are the true RINOs and we need a new party.

-Tennessee HB 793: This bill originally required illegal aliens who want to attend school to pay tuition, but the finance committee gutted that provision. Now it is just a report on the number of illegals but explicitly shields them from law enforcement by ensuring that the information cannot be used.

-A massive solar farm destroyed in Indiana: The Hoosier State is prone to tornadoes, and now so much of its land is dotted with solar panels. Not only do solar farms not provide power during storms, but we have also consistently witnessed them being destroyed by storms. Perhaps God is sending a message.

-FL Senate bans local global warming mandates: The Florida Senate passed a bill last Wednesday that would ban all net-zero policies statewide. The key is that the bill would apply to all government entities — including state agencies, local governments and school districts. This is a model for red states on this and other issues. Every local government policy within a red state works in concert with our values the way blue states mandate their hellish policies on every county.

-Florida House passes ban on forced collective bargaining: In another strike against the source of Democrat power, Florida passed House Bill 1279, which allows school districts to forgo collective bargaining and give immediate pay increases to top-performing teachers assigned to persistently low-performing schools.

-WV Senate guts E-Verify bill: To begin with, the E-Verify bill only passed the House 48-46, despite having 91 Republicans. Now, the Senate judiciary committee gutted the bill to ensure it doesn’t apply in most cases, and some of the members wanted to kill it entirely.

Economy

-Autism fraud is the new Medicaid sinkhole: The WSJ has a great expose on the billions being milked from Medicaid by autism treatment centers across the country, but particularly in fake red states like Indiana. Some vendors were getting $345,000 per child. At a time of inflation, a serious party could use stories like this to push real welfare reform and demonstrate how it will lower prices, but we lack such a party.

- Fourth quarter GDP revised down to a 0.7% annual rate (originally 1.4%). Massive stagflation continues, but not before they juiced up the stock market on false data. Remember when we were promised we’d grow our way out of the debt? Well, instead the debt growth is ensuring that we are suffocating economic growth.

- US gold reserves have never been this small relative to government debt: This chart from Azuria Capital shows that U.S. gold reserves now reflect just 3% of US federal debt, one of the lowest readings on record. For context, it was 18% in 1980. Of course, if you go back as far as the 1940s, our gold reserves reflected 50% of the total debt. Gold prices would have to rise +400%, to $26,000/oz, to match the 1980s peak. That right there is why we will continue to have inflation.

Culture

-Marriage decline, more than affordability, is responsible for drop in homeownership: “A big reason for the 18-percentage-point drop in young adults’ homeownership rate is the massive 30-point fall in marriage.”

- A majority of Americans now believe COVID shots caused significant deaths: It took five years, but a new Rasmussen survey shows that 56% believe side effects from the COVID shots have likely caused a significant number of unexplained deaths. This includes 32% who say it’s very likely. Only 35% still dismiss the idea of vaccine injury. It’s just so sad people didn’t realize ahead of time.

Congress

-New budget reconciliation? “Dead as sh*&”: Republican leaders and committee chairs are now saying the budget reconciliation idea is dead. There you have it, folks. Republicans will not pass one single other bill before their time in the majority is over. Now list the lasting reforms we can celebrate that will endure from the 2024 election mandate.

-Dems propose new tax plan to build on GOP stupidity: the WSJ reports: “Sen. Chris Van Hollen (D., Md.) plans to detail a proposal that would end income taxes on individuals making under $46,000 and married couples making under $92,000. Sen. Cory Booker (D., N.J.) proposed a “Keep Your Pay” plan that would more than double the standard deduction to $37,500 for individuals and $75,000 for married couples while increasing the child tax credit and the earned-income tax credit.

-Only 9 Republicans oppose Warren’s Section 8 bill: I just wanted to give a shoutout to the 10 senators who stood up to the uniparty housing bill I’ve been railing against for months. I don’t always agree with all of them, but at least they got this one right. Cruz, Paul, Lee, Johnson, Rick Scott, Thom Tillis, Budd, Young, and Tuberville. One Democrat also voted no for his own reasons.

-Trump is asking Speaker Johnson to attach SAVE Act to FISA Section 702 reauthorization: To begin with, you guys know I do not believe SAVE is so amazing that it should be the number one priority. But now it’s becoming such an idolatry that some are willing to attach it to a terrible policy. We should be opposing this spying program in its own right – indeed, under Biden, conservative media unanimously opposed its reauthorization. Now Trump is not only demanding an extension of the program, but wants it attacked to SAVE. And of course, my colleagues suddenly support the program because they are listless vessels.

Immigration

- Trump administration changing criteria of H-2A visa program to increase the influx of foreign workers to address farm labor shortage: So we screw farmers with data centers and tariffs, then we give handouts to the large corporate farms who want slave labor because Americans have been culturally and fiscally gerrymandered out of these jobs. And in the irony of all ironies, we actually need AI to be focused on mechanizing farms, yet that is the one AI function Trump doesn’t want to cultivate. You don’t need data centers for it.

Elections

-New poll has Democrat Brown leading by 2 in Ohio Senate race: In line with a consistent GOP underperformance of about 15 points relative to the 2024 results, Ohio’s former Democrat Senator Sherrod Brown is leading Husted (a Republican I’m not fond of) 47-45 among likely voters.

-Vivek losing by 10 to Ohio Democrat: Trump carried the state by 11 in 2024, yet Vivek is getting crushed, according to a new poll. Never forget, this man is a creation of Tucker, was shoved on Ohio by Trump, completely blocked us from having a decent presidential primary, and now he is squandering a red state governorship. If Trump had any integrity, he’d call on this punk to drop out.

As we continue to pray for our soldiers fighting the war abroad, we must remember the ultimate war is here at home.

We had a deadly jihad at a bar in Austin last week. Over this weekend, we had a jihadist attack where two Muslims already born in the U.S. threw an IED into a protest that could have exploded with nails and screws inside. Meanwhile, a jihadist Muslim threatened to bomb a Southwest airplane flight, and there have been bomb threats in NYC and at an airport in Kansas City, Missouri.

We don’t have to live this way. I’ll begin this week’s show (subscribe here) discussing what needs to be done about Islam already here in America, but at a minimum the most important thing we can do is shut off the spigot.

Once again, here is a reminder of what we’ve brought in just from 2014-2023. Since 9/11, it’s definitely welly over 3 million!

-China is building hundreds of coal-fired power plants: At the same time, we haven’t built one in years but are instead building endless data centers that gobble up the power.

-Trump losing his base on data centers: This article describes how former conservatives, such as former Freedom Caucus chair Scott Perry, are now getting hit in their districts for stupidly supporting data centers.

-Amazon wants to pump and dump 19 billion gallons of water for Indiana data centers: In preparation for a data center in St. Joseph County, Amazon is asking the county if it can drain 35 million gallons of water per day – the equivalent use of a 400,000-person city – for 546 days. Then they will dump the 19 billion gallons into the local river, but fear not, it won’t affect farms, the residents, or environment. The entire county population is under 300,000.

-Oracle plans thousands of job cuts as data center costs rise: So we were told that we must give tax, regulatory, and land favors to data centers to create jobs. Well, Oracle is now announcing massive job cuts precisely due to the unaffordability of their commitments…to data centers!

-Oracle & OpenAI Scrap Texas Data Center Expansion Plan, Sending AI Stocks Lower: Well, that was quick. Remember the 1.2 GW facility that Oracle and OpenAI were going to build in Abilene, Texas, which was the centerpiece of Stargate? They have completely scrapped plans. And no, it’s not because the local Republican officials blocked it, but because they simply don’t have the money. A lot of this will go away on its own if the Feds don’t bail them out.

-Study finds excessive chatbot use causes “brain fry”: This is exactly what big tech wanted. They want to make people reliant on a product that cannot completely replace humans but offers the illusion that it does. However, in the process of making the transition, it degrades the brain from functioning properly, so you wind up with negative efficacy over the long run. Boston Consulting Group and the University of California, Riverside surveyed 1,488 full-time U.S.-based workers about their AI use and found “mental fatigue that results from excessive use of, interaction with, and/or oversight of AI tools beyond one’s cognitive capacity.” This “brain fry” includes “increased employee errors, decision fatigue and intention to quit.”

-Stanford study: How chatbots are condensing humanity into singular robotic thought: Stanford performed an informative exercise with chatbots that yielded a scary result. Researchers built a model with 26,000 real open-ended questions to query chatbots – things like creative writing, brainstorming, opinions, and advice. [E.g. “Suggest creative startup ideas.”] Instead of yielding thousands of unique perspectives and ideas, they found that the bots synergize thought throughout different query series within the same model but also from chatbot to chatbot. They call this “hivemind,” but what it really represents is the cornerstone of transhumanism, where the unique, God-created, soulfulness and creativity of each human is extirpated from culture in return for a synergized, robot-like brain rot. Generative AI is a conformity tool when used and marketed in the wrong way.

-MIT: ChatGPT users showed 55% weaker brain connectivity (after just four months) than people who didn’t use it: Researchers split 54 people into three groups: one used ChatGPT to write essays, one used Google, and one used their own unassisted cognition. They wore EEG monitors that tracked their brain activity in real time across four sessions over four months. As expected, those who were unassisted did better than the Google group in terms of building neural networks, and the ChatGPT group lagged severely. But the real kicker is that 83% of ChatGPT users couldn’t quote a single line from their own essay just minutes later! So what they found is that over time, once you took away the tool, the chatbot crowd was left worse off than they were before. Researchers call this “cognitive debt,” whereby you borrow extra fake brainpower up front and pay for it later…with interest.

States

-Indiana rushes carbon capture bill: Indiana House leadership broke chamber rules to repass a bill authorizing eminent domain for carbon capture, as Indiana continues to become a doormat for solar, wind, carbon capture, and data centers more than any blue state.

-Idaho Bill S1346 could mark the first legislation to establish a moratorium on COVID shots, sparking a chain reaction across the country.

-Virginia Dems embrace data centers: Remember how Republicans engaged in criminal political negligence and allowed Democrats to get to their right on data centers? Well, not surprisingly, now that Democrats have won the election, they are blocking legislation that would study and potentially regulate the ability of hyperscale facilities to pass on utility costs to consumers. Imagine if we had a real party looking out for the people?

- South Dakota SB 135- The legislature did successfully pass a bill prohibiting data centers from passing on costs to consumers. However, the state senate watered down the bill with an amendment to remove a provision barring localities from giving data centers tax breaks. Only 4 of the 32 Republicans opposed the tax breaks!

-Georgia Governor Kemp declares “Second Chances” Month: Just how rapidly pro-criminal is Georgia Governor Brian Kemp? He signed a declaration for “Second Chances” month to honor criminals, based on the erroneous premise that somehow they don’t get multiple chances. Notice there is no “Georgia Crime Victims Month.”

--Florida House blocks medical freedom: The Florida House won’t even hear Florida’s SB 1756, the Medical Freedom Act. This legislation strengthens parents’ ability to make informed decisions about childhood vaccinations, expands access to ivermectin, and increases exemptions from school immunization mandates.

-Florida House blocks DeSantis bills on AI and data centers: SB 484 passed the Senate floor last week. The bill would prohibit nondisclosure agreements for private companies looking to buy off local officials by silencing them during the debate over data centers. The House companion, H, 1007, goes a step further, outlawing the construction of data centers within five miles of a school in Florida. However, the RINO speaker is blocking the bill.

Another bill that passed the Senate but is being blocked in the House is the Florida AI Bill of Rights, SB482, which includes the following.

• Requires parental consent for a minor to have an account with a companion chatbot platform. The chatbot must disclose every hour that it’s not a human. They must also have a reasonable plan to prevent their companion from producing or sharing harmful material with minors.

• The tech company is prohibited from selling or disclosing personal information from a user unless the information is de-identified.

• People are barred from “publishing, printing, displaying, or otherwise publicly using for trade or any commercial or advertising purpose” the name, image, and likeness of a person through generative artificial intelligence without their permission.

Economy

- A record number of American workers are pulling money from their 401(k)s to cover financial emergencies: A record 6% of workers tapped their retirement accounts last year for hardship withdrawals. The affordability crisis is getting worse.

-Trump tax bill will widen deficits by $4.7 trillion over the next decade: CBO updated its estimate of the cumulative deficits that will now reach an additional $4.7 trillion over the next decade thanks to the so-called BBB. Unfortunately, most of the tax provisions for this bill were unproductive, demand-side cuts. As I warned last year, for most Americans, inflation is now a bigger tax than federal taxes, so any attempt to make random cuts without cutting spending will wind up harming these people over the long run.

-March jobs numbers. Not only did the economy lose 92k jobs in February, but as we predicted, the previous months were revised down. December was revised down by 65,000, from +48,000 to -17,000 January numbers were revised down by 4,000, from +130,000 to +126,000. So since Trump was president, the working age population grew by 2.1 million since Jan. 2025, yet at the same time the number of people employed dropped by 300k. There are an additional 2.3 million people not in the labor force either but of working age.

Oh, and one more point. Until now, administration officials were saying that while the overall jobs numbers were down, they were up among citizens because a lot of illegals have lost jobs. Well, it turns out that the entire boom in native-born employment was fake news. The numbers were revised to wash away the boom. Relative to 12 months ago, there are just 128k more native-born employed in the country, while that universe of native-born employment-age individuals has grown by more than 2.6 million!

Culture

-Pew on the decline of religion: Pew has a survey out measuring religiosity by region of the country. Of course, the South is clearly more religious than any other region, followed by the Midwest. However, the decline in belief and practice is disturbing. Just 51% of southerners attest to praying daily. While still the highest of any region, that is down 14 points in just one decade, the sharpest decline of any decade. At the same time, the number of people not religiously affiliated in the South ticked up 9 points in 10 years to a full quarter of the population.

Elections

-Dems up 7 in Pennsylvania: Democrats are up 7 points in the generic ballot in Pennsylvania, and Governor Josh Shapiro is ahead by 20 points.

-Dems take unprecedented 6 point lead among men: Emerson now has Democrats up 6 in the generic ballot…for men! I have never seen Democrats ahead at all among men. For reference, Trump won men by 12. Even when Republicans lost in the 2018 midterms under Trump, they still carried men by 11. For them to be down among men (and getting slaughtered among women) portends a historic wipeout going well into red state territory.

Trump administration

-Trump’s food industry friends are warning him RFK Jr.’s agenda is bad for business: In case you are wondering why the president issued the glyphosate production order, backed up testing for toxins, and appears to have retreated on food dyes, Politico has a story showing how the National Association of Manufacturers has lobbied Trump hard against RFK’s agenda. Look, I don’t like increased regulatory costs like the next person, but we do need to get the truth out about toxins and offer people informed consent. The cost of chronic illness and health care is the leading source of deficit spending, aka inflation.

Judicial Supremacism

- Appeals court says Trump must continue TPS for Haitians: On March 6, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit denied the Trump administration’s emergency request to suspend a lower court order that had blocked the termination of Haiti’s Temporary Protected Status (TPS). The decision leaves in place “protections” for about 330,000 Haitian illegals while the underlying legal challenge proceeds. Again, if we can’t simply ignore these rulings or at least pass a DHS funding bill denying funding for these court cases, we’re done as a country.
