I still remember it was in Primary 4 when my mom sold snacks including chin chin.

That very day, we were frying chin chin and I recall she was about stepping out to get something, and she warned me strictly not to touch the chin chin because I had the spirit of testing food — which eventually empties the pot before I can say anything.

Eventually, when she stepped out, I looked at the chin chin and I called its name and I said "Chin chin, I'm not going to eat you."

But guess what? It kept calling my name to test it while it was on fire.

I kept saying no, but with time, because I was there, I chose to test the chin chin a bit, and the moment I fetched it trying to drain the hot oil away, I heard the footsteps of my mom approaching the kitchen...

So I quickly turned hot chin chin into my pockets rather than pouring it into the pot.

Few minutes later, my mom took her seat, and the oil started dropping from the hot chin chin onto my skin.

I tried enduring it but I just couldn't. So I quickly told my mom I was feeling hot and I wanted to go out, meanwhile I wanted to escape but she said they should bring a hand fan for me.

Minutes after, I told her I wanted to use the bathroom but she refused — unknown to me, she already knew.

After much pain, because the oil started dripping and I couldn't hide it, I went on to confess that I had chin chin in my pockets...

And my mom burst into laughter. Immediately I started crying, because when a Nigerian mother laughs during a problem, just know you are in for it.

But after much laughter, she called my name and told me that all she had been waiting for was the confession, because she knew me as her child and she knew I would test it.

After that she asked me to take water, and by that time boils were already coming out on my legs due to the hotness of the oil.

She never flogged me, but the pain of the oil alone was a punishment for me and that was the last time I ever tried such.

Here's what I learned from this experience:

You see, most times as believers we fall into sin, we do certain things, and like me, rather than confessing, we think the best option is silence and hiding away or running away.

But you know the deadliest trap the enemy will keep you in is hiding your sins. Trying to cover them or stay with them despite the pain they cause you.

God is your Father, and before you came out of your mother's womb He knew you, and He knew definitely that you would fall into that sin. He knows from the beginning to the end.

So when you find yourself falling into sin, don't run from God, run to God.

Don't try to hide your sin, expose your sin — only then would it lose its power and torment over you.

The more you try to pamper your sins, the more pain it causes you. Reconciliation is one thing that God wishes for everyone who falls apart .

Like my mother, all He's waiting for is your sincere confession. The sin alone will give you its punishment, but His love is unwavering.

I don't know that sin, that act you have fallen into... today this is God reaching out to you.

All you need to do is confess to Him. Tell Him. Don't run with guilt. Don't let the pain of that sin overwhelm you...

"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." — 1 John 1:9

God's still looking out for you. Go to Him. He can wash you white as snow.

Reconcile with Jesus. He is waiting for you.

Prayer: Dear Lord, I thank you for your child whom you have led to read this. I ask that whatever habits or addictions they have fallen into looses it's authority over them from now on. Help your child to confess their sins and bring your child back to, in Jesus name, Amen.

Dear Phenomenal,

If you've been with me a while, you already know what that conference did to me — three hours of shrinking in silence, unable to even move, because of what I believed about my own body.

If you're just joining us, here's the short version: I once sat through an entire conference too ashamed of comments about my body to even use the restroom.

That's how deep the wound went.

What I haven't told you yet is how I found my way out.

It wasn't a formula. It wasn't a one-time prayer that fixed everything overnight. It was a framework I discovered in Ephesians — three truths that rebuilt what shame had torn down: Time, Intentionality, and Persistence.

This discovery led me to what I built, with the help of the Holy Spirit, the T.I.P Framework — A guide to knowing who you are, even when the shaping doesn't make sense yet.

Today, I want to take you deeper into each layer than I did anywhere else. Settle down. Let's dive deeper.

Our first layer is: Time

You see, every potter will tell you the same thing: you cannot rush wet clay.

If you try to shape it too fast, it collapses. If you pull it before it's ready, it cracks. The wheel has to keep turning again, and again, and again before the shape even begins to hold.

God sent the prophet Jeremiah to watch this happen. Not in a temple. In a workshop.

"Then I went down to the potter's house, and there he was, making something at the wheel. But the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter; so he made it again into another vessel, as it seemed good to the potter to make." (Jeremiah 18:3-4)

Notice what it doesn't say. It doesn't say the potter made the vessel once, and it was perfect immediately. It says the vessel was marred, misshapen, imperfect, mid-process while it was still in his hands.

And still, he didn't discard it. He didn't call it ruined. He reshaped the very same clay, patiently, into what he intended it to become.

This is Time.

Time means you are allowed to still be misshapen right now. Time means the marks you see in yourself today — the ones that make you want to hide, the ones that had you shrinking in a room, unable to even move are not proof that you are ruined. They are proof that you are still on the wheel.

You were never meant to arrive fully formed. Even your face, your body, your voice, every detail took time to be shaped by a hand that does not flinch at marred clay.

So stop measuring your worth by how "finished" you look right now. The potter isn't finished. Which means neither are you.

If it takes days for a potter to mold a single vessel, it means it takes time for God to create you even though He already has the end vision in mind.

So give yourself to the Potter. Stay on the wheel. Keep moving as He keeps forming you, until you become exactly what He saw before He ever began.

Our second layer is: Intentional

Before a potter ever touches the wheel, he already knows what he's making.

He doesn't sit down with clay and "see what happens." A water jar is shaped differently than a lamp. A bowl is shaped differently than a vase. The width of the base, the curve of the walls, the size of the opening none of it is guesswork.

It's decided before the clay ever spins.

This is what most people miss about their own design.

You don't just exist. You were decided on purpose, for a purpose before you were ever formed.

"For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them." (Ephesians 2:10)

Look closely at that verse. It doesn't just say God made you. It says He prepared good works beforehand meaning the purpose existed before you did. Your assignment wasn't figured out after your body was formed. Your body was formed for the assignment.

This must change how you should see every part of yourself that you've ever questioned.

Your slim frame. Your height. Your voice. Your personality doesn't fit the room the way everyone else does. None of it was a leftover decision, an afterthought, a mistake the Potter made and had to live with.

A potter doesn't build a narrow-necked vessel by accident and then pretend it was meant to be wide.

Every measurement is intentional, because every vessel has a function only that shape can carry.

Whatever shape you carry, the one people have commented on, questioned, or made you feel small about was chosen because it was built to hold something specific. A function. A grace. A weight only you were designed to carry.

You were not almost right. You were exactly measured for what you were made to do.

So stop trying to reshape yourself into a vessel you were never designed to be.

Stop envying the wide-mouthed jar when you were built as a narrow-necked vessel because the same hand that measured them also measured you, and He does not make mistakes in design.

Give yourself to the shape He chose. Trust the function He built into you, even if you don't fully see it yet. What He measured you for, He will still use you for.

Our third layer is: Persistent

A potter's work isn't finished when the shape is right.

The clay still has to go through the kiln.

Before firing, wet clay looks formed, but it's fragile, one hard knock and it collapses back into shapelessness. It hasn't been held yet.

The heat is what makes the shape permanent. Without the fire, the vessel is still just a soft possibility.

This is the part nobody warns you about identity.

Knowing who you are isn't the finish line. Staying who you are under pressure is.

The world will try to give you a different identity. It will hand you a name based on your body, your background, your mistakes, your slow seasons.

Failure will whisper that the shape didn't hold, that you were marred beyond use.

Circumstances will pressure you to conform to whatever room you're in, whatever comment was made about you, whatever comparison you were just handed.

And if you don't persist — if you let the heat convince you to abandon the shape you'll come out of the fire as something other than what the Potter formed you to be.

But here's what the kiln actually does, if you stay in it: it doesn't destroy the shape. It sets it. It's the very thing that turns soft clay into something that can hold water, hold weight, hold use for years.

Persistence is not gritting your teeth and hoping the pain ends. Persistence is staying in agreement with your Potter's design while the heat tries to convince you to become something else.

So when the comments come again. When the comparison shows up again. When your own mind tries to hand you back the old shame persists. Not by fighting harder in your own strength, but by aligning yourself, again and again, with who God already said you are.

The world may try to rename you. Failure may try to rename you. Circumstances may try to rename you. Your past may try to rename you.

But the fire doesn't get the final word on your shape. The Potter does.

Keep moving in the direction of who He says you are through the heat, not around it. That's how the shape becomes permanent.

A PRAYER FOR YOU

Father,

Thank You for taking Your time with me even when I couldn't see the shape You were forming. Thank You for the intention behind every part of me I once questioned.

Forgive me for the seasons I tried to reshape myself into a vessel I was never designed to be.

Today, I give myself back to the wheel. Keep forming me. Keep shaping me. And when the fire comes when the world, or failure, or my own past tries to hand me a different name, give me the grace to persist in agreement with who You say I am.

Let my life be a vessel that holds exactly what You built it to hold.

In Jesus' name, amen.

Dear Phenomenal,

Yes, you read right — 3 good hours. I didn't want to be seen walking anywhere in that room, not even to the bathroom.

I attended a conference and felt pressed for 3 good hours but I refused to move an inch because…

Growing up, I couldn't pass a group of people without hearing, "God!! Do you even eat, you are so slim." Over time, hearing it consistently built a different perception of myself.

So I tied my identity to my looks. I tried doing more, achieving more, just to make people accept who I was.

Isn't this the lie we grew up hearing in our society? Most people have concluded that identity is tied to how they look, what they have, or what they've done.

A few years later, in the middle of still performing for approval, something saved me.

I tried working harder to be enough. It never worked.

Until I began to search the right source, and I discovered in the Word of God that my identity was not determined by how I looked, what I achieved, or what people said about me but by what God had spoken and declared over me.

I found it in Genesis: "I was made in the image and likeness of God."

I found it in Ephesians: "I'm God's workmanship."

And I understood I carried the image and likeness of God.

That alone changed everything for me. I read it over and over, sat with it time without number, and I began to see myself from a different perspective.

To anyone reading this,

Identity is not what the world assigns you, earns you, or takes from you, it's what God declared over you before any of that happened, and it doesn't change based on what happens after.

Your identity is not in how you look, what you've achieved, or what people think of you.

Your identity is who God says you are, despite your looks, your achievements, your mistakes, your past failures, and the opinions of people about you.

And God's Word says —

You're made in the image and likeness of God — Genesis, so your body was never the standard to be measured against, it was already carrying divine design.

You're from a royal priesthood — 1 Peter so your background was never disqualifying, it was already covered by royalty.

Old things have passed away, behold all things are made new — because if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation, so it doesn't matter what your past mistakes may have looked like, as long as you are in Christ everything becomes new.

This isn't self-help. It's not positive thinking. It's what happens when you're in Christ and that's the freedom I found.

So when we talk about identity, it is not how you look, what you've achieved, or what people say about you.

It is WHO God says you are.

Fast-forward to today, I am free. And I believe someone reading this is being invited into that same freedom, right now.

Embrace how you look, you look just like God.

Discard whatever people have said to you or about you, their opinion doesn't count anymore, grace has rewritten it.

Release your background, it was never your disqualification, it was already covered by royalty.

Let go of your mistakes, they don't get the final word, all things have already been made new.

You are not your looks. You are not your background. You are not your mistakes.

You are who God says you are.

Sit with this over and over. Repeat it time without number until it becomes your identity — one no one can erase or challenge.

Say this prayer with me: Dear Lord, thank you for making me in your image and likeness.

Today, I release every word or thought spoken over me that does not align with what you have declared over me.

I choose to walk in who you have ordained me to be, regardless of where I am and what I have done, so help me Lord…in Jesus mighty name. Amen.

I never thought I would say this, but this is part of the reason I'm here. Life happens in such a way that we learn as we keep journeying.

Over time, I kept feeling the need to expand my reach to LinkedIn.

Last year I opened a LinkedIn account and after a month, I closed it.

Then the urge came again, stronger this time. I opened a new account this year and decided to just observe the space first, to learn how it worked before I tried to navigate it.

That's exactly when I started shrinking.

I saw people my age and people older than me celebrating achievements.

I saw people posting polished, professional and smart posts.

And without realizing it, I placed myself in a box and refused to step out.

I spent the first two months without posting a single thing. Then I moved to two posts and that's where it got interesting.

Every post I write on Facebook and Substack starts with "Dear Phenomenal." But on LinkedIn, surrounded by all that polish, I told myself:

"This space is not for me."

"I am too deep to write here."

"Almost everyone here is bigger than me."

"Everyone here cares about career and profession not calling."

So I did what I thought was best. I shrank.

I tried to sound polished and professional. I stopped opening with "Dear Phenomenal." And things only got worse.

Until something happened I never saw coming I lost my Facebook account of over 5,000 people, and I was forced to build on the very platform I had feared.

By then I had already received the light of Christ, and it became clear one of the reasons I wasn't growing wasn't the platform. It was me. I had stopped shining and started shrinking.

So I made my first real post announcing who I was in Christ and how I'd be showing up for the people here.

That same day, people I least expected started appearing in the comments.

People God had been preparing for the community He was building through me.

A community of believers who refuse to dim their light.

A community of believers who choose to stand out and stand for Christ boldly.

If you're reading this and asking, "How do I stand out and be the light in my environment?" maybe you just stepped into a new space. New people.

Professional positions. And bringing Jesus into the room feels like it would make you stand out for all the wrong reasons. So instead of shining, you've been dimming.

Dear Phenomenal, I see you. God sees you.

You — who have been shrinking your identity at work.

You — who have been hiding the banner of Christ in your community.

You — who feel the weight of trying to uphold His standard alone.

This message was sent to you.

You don't need to have it all together. You don't need to be polished or professional.

You may feel too deep for this generation. Too much.

But hear this God never made you too deep for nothing. You carry the exact depth this generation needs. You're not too much. You're just enough for a generation that needs more of who God made you to be.

Because when God sends you into a room where no one else is praying..

When God sends you to somewhere spiritually dark when no one is shining like where you came from…

You're not meant to shrink but shine..

You are meant to carry the banner of Christ.

Our generation needs more people like you. There are destinies in rooms you haven't walked into yet, waiting to hear God's voice through you.

So when you step into that new space don't shrink.

You are not meant to abandon your identity when you walk into a new room.

You bring who you are in Christ and stand firm even if you feel too much, too deep, too loud and let your identity do the work.

God never placed you there by mistake.

You represent His kingdom. Let the voice of God be heard through you.

Awakening Identity. Building Kingdom Leaders.

One of the fastest ways the enemy destroys believers is by laying foundations.

He's not in a hurry. He's patient, calculated, and he builds before he destroys. He takes his time. He clears the ground quietly.

Then he starts laying step by step, little by little, brick by brick right inside the place you least expect, which is your Mind.

He doesn't arrive like a storm. He doesn't announce himself with a loud voice or a dramatic entrance. He comes with whispers.

It sounds like this:

Before the interview "What if you don't pass?"

Before the step of faith "What if you're not ready?"

Before you raise your hand, speak a word or step into the room he would whisper "Who do you think you are?"

And just like that, what started as a whisper becomes a verdict you didn't remember agreeing to.

You walk into the room shaky. You talk yourself out of it on the way there. And by the time they say "this isn't for you" part of you already believed it before they opened their mouths.

That's not a coincidence. That's a foundation the enemy built while you weren't paying attention.

Here's what you need to know and this is the identity piece the enemy is actually targeting:

The disposition of God inside of you.

Hear me clearly, the attack on your mind is not random.

The enemy doesn't waste whispers on people who aren't dangerous. He plants doubt in the minds of the ones God marked for something.

The reason he tells you "you're not good enough" is because he already knows what you're capable of and it terrifies him.

So when the voice says you can never amount to anything that is not a prophecy. That is a threat from someone who has already seen your potential and is trying to dismantle it before it manifests.

I know this is for someone today.

You've been somewhere in a quiet moment, in the middle of a crowd and you've whispered it to yourself. I'm not good enough. I wasn't made for this. I can't overcome this.

Draw closer Phenomenal, I want you to know — that is not your voice. That is not God's voice. That is the enemy finishing the foundation he started.

And you have the power to tear it down.

The same way the whispers came slowly, subtly, consistently that is exactly how you dismantle them.

You don't fight a whisper with silence. You fight it with a declaration.

Not maybe — but I was made to conquer this.

Not what if — but I am going to succeed.

Not I don't think— but I will survive this. I will thrive through this.

Start by whispering it. Then say it with your chest.

Then declare it boldly, unapologetically, every single day until the foundation the enemy built crumbles under the weight of the Word you keep speaking over your life.

The best way to overcome the enemy is by refilling every impossible thought with possible words from God's Word.

And you don't just speak once —you say it consistently. Intentionally then you will begin to see changes eventually.

You are not who the enemy says you are.

You are who God marked, made, and mandated.

You were made to carry what you're carrying.

It's a new week already and the enemy may come with his whispers but you already know what to do…Silence his voice and speak God's word.

You have the power to shut the enemy up or he will shut your destiny off.

Remember you have power over him, do not give him a place of residence.

A cat cried beside my window for months..

It had two spots it would either position itself behind my parents' window crying into the night or come directly to my room window and do the same.

I kept wondering what on earth was going on.

Then one night I was deep asleep when it came to my window and started crying again.

This time I didn't wake up confused or afraid. I got up angry and I screamed at it:

"I command you to leave my window in the name of Jesus." Just one statement with a single understanding..

And everywhere went silent.

That was the last time that cat ever disturbed my peace.

Phenomenal, some things will never stop until you get angry and arise.

The reason you are scared is because you do not know who you are and what you carry.

Think about it this way a child of a dog is a dog. A child of a lion is a lion. So what then is a child of God?

Psalm 82:6 answers it clearly.

Jesus himself quoted it in John 10:34 — "I said you are gods, sons of the Most High, all of you."

You are not just a believer sitting in a pew. You are an expression and an extension of God's glory walking on this earth.

So how can you wake up in the middle of the night gripped by fear, tormented by dreams, paralysed by darkness and not know that you have authority over it?

How can you wake up on a Monday morning, scared, unsure of how your week will be?

Do you not know who you are? Do you not know whose child you are?

Well if you don't consider this your announcement.

You are a child of the Most High God. And He does not just watch over you from a distance He resides in you.

Ephesians 2:6 says you have been raised up and seated in heavenly places in Christ Jesus far above principalities, far above powers, far above every name that tries to oppress you.

The reason many believers are oppressed is not because the enemy is powerful.

It is because they do not know who they are and the enemy has exploited that gap.

But that ends today.

From today henceforth, walk in authority. Speak with authority.

Live with the audacity of someone who knows exactly whose child they are because that is not arrogance. That is identity

The devil has no power over you. The economy has no power over you. Your circumstances has no power over you. Stop don't give them the audience he doesn't deserve.

You are Phenomenal.

You are God's expression of power — let that sink.

Back in primary school I was asked to conduct our assembly on a Friday morning.

A Friday I will never forget.

I struggled with low self-esteem and confidence.

I had no knowledge of what identity was.

And when I was asked to stand before those 300 pupils I flinched. My teachers saw something in me they were simply trying to put me out there.

But the moment I opened my mouth to speak I burst into real tears. No one flogged me. No one scolded me. The tears just came.

The laughter that followed was immediate.

I was embarrassed. I felt ashamed. I didn't go to school the next day.

And along the line the school pupils gave me a nickname School Cry Baby.

But few years later everything changed when I discovered identity.

The moment I knew who God made me to be I stepped out to start doing the very things I was scared of.

I started small. I began speaking to my sisters. Then my mom. Then my classmates. Then groups. Then church members. Then secondary school students. Then thousands of humans on my social media accounts.

Nobody handed me confidence.

Identity gave me the foundation to build it.

You see when you don't know who God has made you to be and what you carry, you become a victim to the very thing you were meant to overcome.

Hear me clearly, no matter your current status…

You are not small.

You may be struggling with low self-esteem.

You may be hiding somewhere. You may be thinking less of yourself. You may be thinking — I am not meant to do big things.

Gather that trash and let's dispose it in the nearest wastebin.

When God was creating you He never attached low self-esteem.

He never attached low self-confidence. He never wrote limitation into your design.

It doesn't matter if you feel unprepared, unseen, or like you come from a small background.

Your earthly status is not relevant. Your heavenly status is.

The Bible calls you a royal priesthood. A chosen generation. Peculiar. There is something special about you that this world has not yet fully seen.

If a crying Deborah can now speak to an audience of 500 students then with the help of God you can do more.

You were made for those big spaces.

You were made to do great things.

Because you don't carry ordinary blood.

You carry the DNA of Christ.

And that changes everything.

You were not created to shrink.

You were created to step into every space God prepared for you.

You were created to dominate.

To lead.

To build.

To heal.

To write.

To speak.

To rise.

In whatever sphere God has placed you —

you were always meant to be there.

Fully.

Unapologetically.

Completely.

So embrace and live with the mindset that:

You are Phenomenal.

You are exceptional.

You are more than you can imagine.

You are the extension of God's glory sent to dominate every sphere you find yourself in.

Walk in that mindset.

Dear Phenomenal,

You may be wondering why I went suddenly quiet.

I was in a season.

A season of learning, unlearning and refining.

God doesn't always keep you visible

when He's doing His deepest work.

Sometimes He hides you so He can prepare you.

And I had to trust that.

I had to wait for the One who holds my hand to walk me through every pillar

that these letters are built upon.

And He did.

As someone who loves order and structure and coming from a church like Living Faith Church where everything is ordered and anchored — I have always wanted to model that same example in everything I do.

The commission itself runs on 12 pillars.

12 specific anchors that every message is built upon.

That kind of intentional structure changed how I think about everything I build.

It had been a prayer point.

To receive the pillars that would serve as anchors for Dear Phenomenal Letters.

And on Wednesday 25th March while I was in church meditating God finally dropped it..

3 strong words.

And He didn't just give me words.

He gave me scriptural references for each.

I sat with it.

I wrote it down.

And I was wondering where the words would come from but I had to trust my source.

In the season of waiting, The Lord began to use my life as the message.

And every paragraph was built through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, my scars, my mistakes and every single lesson learnt.

So before I say anything else let me reintroduce what Dear Phenomenal Letters stands on:

IDENTITY

"Ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood." 1 Peter 2:9

INFLUENCE

"Ye are the light of the world." Matthew 5:14

IMPACT

"Go ye into the world and preach the Gospel." Mark 16:15

These three pillars are not just concepts.

They are the DNA of every letter I will write.

Every word that flows from this page will be orchestrated from the Source to speak to Phenomenal souls across borders.

I'm not back because I have everything figured out.

I'm back because the One who holds every word said it's time.

And every letter from here will carry His fingerprint.

But then, I decided to seek answers and solutions for myself. I got tired of being tormented. I got tired of facing unnecessary storms.

I started searching. I searched books, I asked questions of different people, and I was trying my best to come out of my situation.

But guess what? I searched without understanding, and I was also searching for things that had the secondary solution to my problem, not the “primary solution.”

It has been years since I started this search, and I would love to announce to you that I found the answer last year while reading God’s word.

If there is a problem, there must be a solution for that problem and you can always find it in God's word.

I came across a scripture in Mark 4. In this scripture, Jesus was on a boat with His disciples when a violent storm arose.

I asked myself, “How can a storm take place when Jesus is present?”

That question kept ringing in my heart, so I decided to go deeper.

Moving further, something interesting got my attention.

While the storm was raging, Jesus was sleeping.

The disciples panicked, just as anyone would, and woke Him, saying, “Master, carest thou not that we perish?” (Mark 4:38).

And then

Mark 4:39 — “And He arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.”

But here is the problem we believers face…

Mark 4:40 — “And He said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? How is it that ye have no faith.

That was when light hit me!

We let storms overcome us because we lack faith and cannot speak.

It dawned on me, being a child of God does not exempt us from trials and tribulations, but what brings us out of storms is our ability to know that Jesus is with us and all we have to do is awaken our faith and speak to the storms in our lives to be still.

Jesus wasn’t just sleeping because He wanted to, but it was an avenue to see if truly the disciples understood that He was with them and if by exercising their faith, they would speak for the storm to be calm.

Many of us have become overwhelmed and overcome by storms, not because we are weak, but because we have no understanding that our seasons of trials are the seasons we need to exercise our faith and the authority deposited inside of us.

When I found this scripture, I stopped sleeping and complaining when storms hit me.

For instance, I struggled with my health a lot, and it seemed like every single month I had health issues.

But the entrance of this word awakened something inside of me. Each time I faced a health challenge, rather than worrying and crying, I took hold of God’s word and spoke to my body system commanding it to Be Still.

And it’s been months of enjoying good health by God’s grace.

When we face storms, it doesn’t mean God is absent. It only gives us an opportunity to grow our faith and exercise authority.

The storms in your life are not meant to break you. They are meant to reveal what you truly believe.

Do you believe you carry the Holy Spirit? Do you believe you are loved by God? Do you believe God is with you?

Then rise up, take position, exercise your faith, and speak to every storm in your life.

Here is the believers formula:

1. Know God’s Word.

2. Remember He is with you even when it feels silent.

3. Speak to your storms boldly and with faith: “I know I carry Jesus in my life; by His authority, I command you, Peace, be still.”

Your challenges are waiting for you to speak with faith before they leave.

I know this word is for someone, and God sent me to say this to you: “Don’t panic. Do not be scared. God is with you.”

“Arise, take God’s word, exercise faith, and speak to the storm that has been raging in your life.”

Remember: Life and death are in the power of the tongue. It’s your decision to choose one and as you choose life, I want you to Speak it until you see it.

Not recently. Some years ago.

But the accident didn’t just bruise my body

it planted something deeper..

Fear.

And fear has a strange way of staying longer than pain.

The wounds healed.

The scars faded.

But the fear?

It lingered.

Especially whenever I stood in front of a busy road.

Fast forward to last year.

I traveled to Lagos for the first time for a project I was working on.

One day, I stepped out with my uncle, but somehow I got left behind. I was left with no option but to cross the highway alone.

Now, I was used to my quiet road where cars passed calmly.

But Lagos?

On the highway, cars move like jets.

I approached the road with the intention to cross… but fear froze me and I stood there.

Five minutes passed.

Ten minutes.

Twenty.

I watched cars speed by. My heart raced.

Then I saw some young men walk up and cross like magic. Cars were flying, yet they calculated their steps and moved.

Minutes later, a group of children came. They paused briefly and in less than two minutes, they crossed.

I literally screamed.

They didn’t panic. They didn’t overthink.

They moved.

And me?

I was still standing there, saying “Holy Spirit help me, but I never took any step to get His help.”

When I finally checked the time again, I had been there for over 40 minutes, just because I was afraid of being knocked down again.

My hands were shaking.

I would take one step forward… and step back again.

I kept waiting while others kept crossing.

Then my phone started ringing. People were asking about my whereabouts.

And suddenly, something inside me got tired.

A scripture dropped in my heart:

2 Timothy 1:7 — “For God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, love and a sound mind.”

So, I whispered it, over and over, until I began to feel the presence of the Holy Spirit in me…

Then I said to myself, “Deborah, move and let me see any car that dares to knock you down.”

Brethren, I moved.

This time, I stepped forward and did not step back.

I walked smartly even with the presence of fear.

And just like that I found myself on the other side.

What took me 40 minutes to attempt…

took less than two minutes to accomplish.

And something beautiful happened.

The fear disappeared.

Before I left Lagos, I was crossing that highway like a traffic warden.

Beloved, many people are standing at their own “highway” but few have taken steps to cross.

You see, fear always gives you two options:

Forget Everything And Run.

Or Face Everything And Rise.

You must choose to move forward, face your fears without looking backwards.

You must get to that point where you tell yourself “enough is enough.”

If you have a vision…

If you have a dream…

If you have a target…

Fear will find its way in.

But you must decide to move anyway.

You must learn to do it afraid.

It's going to be frustrating, but you have to get tired and dump the “What ifs” and move.

You don't overcome fear by standing and lamenting, you overcome your fears when you decide to face it by taking steps forward.

When you get to move you will discover what took you years, can actually take days or months..

You either bow to fear or make it bow to you.

This week, push yourself, stretch yourself, take a new approach..

Face those things you have been avoiding in particular with faith..

Step out and knock on that door.

Step out and send that proposal.

Step out and go for that interview.

Step out and start that business.

There is no perfect moment to begin.You take the moment and make it perfect.

Stop waiting for the road to be clear before you move, clarity unfolds through movement.

The slogan for this week is: Believe God and Begin.

Take bold steps this week.

As you try to move forward, don't forget -- fear may arise but remember: God has not given you the spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind.

You carry the DNA of Christ, and fear has no power over you.

Step out with faith and do it afraid.

Say this prayer with me: Lord Jesus, I thank you for bringing this word my way. Today I acknowledge my fears and unbelief, therefore, I lay every fear holding me backwards at your feet. I ask that you strengthen my faith. Help me to step out with faith, having the assurance that you are always with me. I break every chain of fear and I announce to myself that I'm not longer a slave to fear.

I carry the DNA of Christ and I have the spirit of faith, power and a sound mind. In Jesus name, Amen.

So when my name appeared at the top, it felt unreal. But something happened to me. I told myself, “I can break this record for myself.”

I started reading more. I prayed more. I became intentional. Fast-forward to the end of first term I was expectant. When I opened my result, it was exactly what I had envisioned.

First position for the first time.

That day, I was walking like Peter who walked on water.

I had taken everyone by surprise… but the people I took by storm did not retreat.

Then I made a very costly decision.

I told myself, “You’ve read enough. You’ve done enough. Rest and relax.”

I slowed down. Movies increased.Reading reduced.Discipline became optional.

And funny enough, I was still carrying my old result around, smiling not knowing something was coming for me.

Second term came. I collected my result with confidence, smiling at the envelope, already picturing another “first position.”

Then I opened it.

Tenth.

I looked again.

Still tenth.

I checked the name and it was staring back at me.

When I got home, my mom asked,

“Deborah, what position did you get?”

And I replied,

“I got 1 raised to the power of 0.”

Because saying “10th position” would have secured me a premium set of slaps.

That day taught me a lesson I have never forgotten.

Beloved, achievements without consistency are temporary and resting too long on past victories invites regression.

I learned that winning once does not mean you will keep winning. Momentum must be protected. Growth must be maintained

So i went back.

I pushed harder.

It took time, but I regained my position.

And that’s the message.

The level you are celebrating today is not your final destination.

But if you are not careful, it can become your downfall.

Yesterday’s effort is not enough for today.

Yesterday’s fire cannot sustain today’s demand.

If you won 50 souls last month, it’s not enough, stretch for more.

If you made massive sales, don’t relax but upgrade your strategy.

If you prayed consistently last week, don’t stop going deeper.

If you succeeded once, don’t slow down maintain the standard.

Success is not a seat.

It is a track.

The moment you stop running, someone else overtakes you.

So don’t get contented.

Don’t relax.

Don’t live on past victories.

So this week:

Set the goal again.Tie your laces again.

Hit the track again. Go harder and do more.

But something happened last year that opened my eyes. I noticed I had been doing my hair for years, yet it never exceeded a certain length.

No matter how well it was styled or cared for, it always stopped at the same point. And honestly, that surprised me.

Each time I went to my stylist and we talked about it, I would casually say,

“Don’t worry, I have dwarf hair. I don’t think it can ever exceed this length.”

I said it jokingly. I said it repeatedly.

And unknowingly, I said it prophetically.

Over time, my hair truly became what I kept calling it—dwarf.

One day, while speaking with my sister, I said the same thing again, and she paused and replied,“That might be the reason your hair isn’t growing… because you’ve already decided with your mouth by calling it dwarf.”

Then she added something that struck me deeply:

“As long as you keep saying it, you will keep seeing the same thing.”

That conversation changed everything.

I changed my confession.

I spoke to God about it, and each time I went to my stylist, I would touch my hair and say,“My hair is growing. I have long hair now.”

For a while, nothing changed visibly.

But faith doesn’t need evidence to keep speaking.

Then last year, when I loosened my hair to get it done, I noticed a huge difference. My hair had grown really grown. Not just long, but healthy, fuller, with little curls forming at the tips.

My stylist looked at me and said,“Debbie, your hair has grown really long.”

That was the moment it dawned on me:

What you say consistently is what you eventually see.

Sometimes, the devil isn’t the one fighting us.Our mouths are simply agreeing with limitations.

The Bible says, “You shall have what you say” (Mark 11:23).

And Proverbs reminds us, “Life and death are in the power of the tongue” (Proverbs 18:21).

Words are seeds. When spoken, they are sown and every seed returns with a harvest.

When my hair began to depreciate, I should have spoken life into it. Instead, I reinforced the problem with my words. And truth be told, many of us are doing the same thing unknowingly partnering with delay, stagnation, and fear through our confessions.

Your mouth is not just for eating alone.Your mouth is a weapon. It is your AK-47 and you must use it wisely.

If you are in the marketplace and customers are not coming, speak life into your business.

If you are facing pressure or confusion in your career, speak life instead of grumbling.

If your body feels weak, speak healing instead of fear.

You may be saying it and not seeing immediate results but understand your words are seeds and you must keep watering them until results bloom forth.

The prophet Ezekiel didn’t argue with dry bones he spoke to them (Ezekiel 37).

And they responded.

So this week, as you step out:

Speak life into your business.

Speak life into your academics.

Speak life into your health.

Speak life into your week.

Don’t speak what you fear.

Don’t echo what you see.

Speak what God has said.

Because in the end, what you consistently say…is what you will eventually see.

I fell in love for the first time when I was 14.

My lover and I got married, and today we have 9 children.

This is not fiction. It’s my personal story.

And a confession I have been carrying in my heart for a long time.

Before then, I watched a lot of Indian movies. I admired how love looked, how two people could stare at each other while the breeze danced through their clothes. Oh, what a sight.

I longed for that kind of love, even if I didn’t know it.

Then at 14… My lover came for me.

I had heard about him, about the things he did, and I was marveled. I admired him from afar. But I never imagined he would come for me.

Slowly, gently, he began to knock at the door of my heart.

I was afraid.

I didn’t want to open the door.

I looked at myself and wondered, why me?

I wasn’t pretty.

I was young.

I had flaws—many of them.

Why would anyone want to love someone like me?

But he was persistent.

He kept coming.

He loved me even when I didn’t care.

He waited patiently until I finally opened the door.

Surprisingly, my parents encouraged the union. They had been friends with him for years and insisted that starting a relationship with him at 14 would save me from a lifetime of heartbreak.

They pointed me toward this 'Ancient' love, knowing he would take better care of me than they ever could.

Well… I said yes.

And I FELL….I FELL IN LOVE.

That single decision changed everything.

He became my provider.

My healer.

My sustainer.

My Deliverer.

My keeper.

There were days when life was hard and heavy, and he held me so close in his arms.

There were moments when my flaws showed up loudly, and I thought, this is where he leaves.

But instead… he came closer.

He showed me a version of myself I had never seen before.

He sent me love letters, written in a book and till today, I spend hours reading them.

The more I stayed with him, the more his love transformed me.

It began to radiate through me.

And look at me today, beautiful like my lover.

Well, since we are already married with children, it’s only right I introduce him to you.

His name is…..JESUS CHRIST.

We’ve been married for years now, and we have 9 children, collectively called THE FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT.

Falling in love with Jesus Christ at 14 remains the greatest decision of my life.

I can boldly say his love is greater and far better than anything Zee World ever showed me.

I don’t know who this is for, but I know someone needs to hear this.

Jesus may be knocking at the door of your heart today.

He may be calling you today.

Something happened some weeks ago..

Spotify dropped the Wrapped summary for the year.

The funny thing is, I knew about it last year, but I completely forgot this year.

I had no idea that Spotify was going to give me any Wrapped Summary.

Yet… while I forgot, guess what?

The algorithm did NOT forget.

It kept tracking.

It kept recording.

It kept storing.

Somehow, while I was busy living life, Spotify was quietly tracking every song, every repeat, every habit.

I wasn’t conscious of it. I wasn’t intentional about it. But the algorithm was intentional about me.

Now here is the main message..

Beloved, this is exactly how it works in the Kingdom of God.

You may feel you're just waking up every day, living normally… praying today, forgetting tomorrow… posting one scripture now and binge-watching worldly content next… saying “God understands” while compromising quietly.

But heaven is keeping records.

Of the prayers you whispered at midnight.

Of the sacrifices nobody saw.

Of the obedience you thought didn’t matter.

Of the kindness you sowed in secret.

Of the times you wanted to give up but didn’t.

Of the days you chose purity over pleasure.

Of the seasons you walked alone just to stay aligned.

And yes… heaven is also recording the moments you ignored God’s nudge.

The small disobedience you waved off.

The bitterness you hid behind a smile.

The laziness that killed your consistency.

The distractions that swallowed your destiny.

The compromises you called “being real.”

Everything counts in the kingdom.

Nothing is wasted.

Nothing is ignored.

Nothing is unseen.

Hebrews 4:13 says it all –“Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight.Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.”

So here’s the question:

If heaven dropped your “Spiritual Wrapped 2025”…

Would you be proud of what you see?

Would it show hours of worship or hours of TikTok?

Would it show consistency or excuses?

Would it show growth or stagnation?

Would it show purity or private compromise?

Would it show prayer or procrastination?

This is not to judge you…

This is to awaken you.

Heaven is keeping records not to condemn you, but to call you HIGHER.

Your life is not ordinary.

Your walk is not random.

Your choices are shaping eternity.

Before the year ends… fix what needs fixing.

Return where you drifted.

Strengthen what is weak.

Rebuild what is broken.

Fan the flames that are dying.

Let this message stir you to action:

Do not wait for applause or recognition.

Do not wait for someone to notice your faithfulness.

Every choice, every prayer, every act of obedience counts.

Choose to stay aligned. Stay faithful. Stay consistent.

Say this prayer with me: Dear Lord,Thank You for seeing all that I do, both in secret and in the open. Help me to align my heart with You daily. You are the greatest prophet your life will ever have. You are the loudest voice that shapes your future whether you’re conscious of it or not.

Every morning after my devotion, before I speak to anyone, I speak to myself. Affirmations. Declarations. Prophetic words. Not because it is trendy, but because it is spiritual technology.

I have learned that words are seeds, they don’t disappear, they harvest.

And life will always give you back the fruit of the seeds you plant with your mouth.

This is why I don’t speak casually. I don’t speak carelessly. I don’t speak small. Because what you say is what you see.

Numbers 14:28 says, “As truly as I live, saith the Lord, as ye have spoken in mine ears, so will I do to you.” God responds to what you consistently declare.

Your words are the authorization to access what God has already made available.

You don't have to wait for someone to motivate you. You don't have to wait for someone to validate you. You don't have to wait for someone to prophesy into your life.

Beloved, it is your life.

You are the one who will live with the results. Not your pastor. Not your parents. Not your friends.

Matthew 12:37 says, “For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.”

Your words either create your destiny or limit it.

So learn to wake up everyday and..

Speak when you feel strong. Speak when you feel weak. Speak when nothing aligns. Speak when everything aligns. Because your words are building the life you will step into.

You don't have to pay to speak, you don't have to subscribe to speak…

Cultivate the habit of prophesying over your life, family, business, health whatever you can think of.

You can't be a believer and still complain you don't have sales, or your health is failing…

The Bible reminds us in Proverbs 18:21 that “Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and those that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.”

If you want things to work, speak life.

Speak God's word daily.

Keep declaring it until it gets established..

When you wake up prophesy over your day.

Speak life to your business

Speak life into your career because this is what partnership with destiny means.

Remember,

You cannot see what you refuse to say. You cannot manifest what you never declared.

You cannot see victory when you speak defeat

And you cannot step into a reality you didn’t first announce in the spirit.

Shape your life with the right words and life will have no choice but to obey the words you’ve sown.

Say this prayer with me: Dear Lord, thank You for reminding us today that our words carry life.We receive the grace to walk boldly, to speak with faith, and to expect Your goodness in every area of our lives.

There was a time when I needed finances to attend a conference.

A few days to the end of the registration, I was able to get some cash and because my sister wanted to attend I decided to give her half of the money.

I gave her the money because I had already attended the program and it was just her first time and I didn't want her to miss it.

After supporting her with the last money I had, I was left with nothing.

Deep down within me, I wanted to still attend this program.

I got some instructions from the Holy Spirit and I was meant to carry them out at the program.

I prayed. I fasted and even reached out to some people but no hope.

I remember being anxious, scared and worried but then this scripture kept ringing a bell in my heart.

“Be still and know that I am God”-- Psalm 46:10

And at that point it became my only hope.

Something happened, just a day to the closing line, I received a message from a mother in Christ, and she asked me if I was attending, and I narrated everything to her.

She asked for my account number and she transferred the money to my account that was how Jesus settled my bill.

Beloved, when the Bible said “Be still and know that I am God” — it wasn't just a statement, but a proof that we would always find ourselves in situations where we feel tense, anxious, worried or unsafe.

But in those moments, God can only prove himself when we choose to stay still.

Our journey in life doesn't promise to be without storms, but what makes us sail through these storms is simply stillness.

That moment where you finally say “Holy Spirit, this is beyond me, please take over.”

That moment where you decide to shut the door of unbelief and hold on to God's word as your heart meditates on His word.

That's when He shows up.

If we must see God's hand we must know how to pull his hands and one of the ways we do that is through stillness.

Stillness is proof that despite the heat,storms or crisis – you still choose to trust God.

And God will go all out to grant the heart desires of a man who can dare to trust him.

Beloved, your only defense against the storm is stillness.

I don't know what is taking your peace now, perhaps the last month of the year feels empty, or maybe you are grieving a loss. I understand your pain, but I want you to be still and know that God is alive.

I leave you with this challenge : whenever you feel the panic rise, do not reach for your phone, or a distraction. Instead, take 60 seconds, place your hand over your heart, and say out loud three times, "Be still, for I know that He is God.

And I promise you that God will show up for himself.

Say this prayer with me,

Dear Lord, I acknowledge that I have doubted You in many situations. Today, I have learned that You show up when I choose to be still and trust You. Give me the grace to be still. Help me to trust You against all odds. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

I’ve been hit by a car before.

I’ve been knocked down by a motorcycle, twice.

I’ve survived a leg condition that almost led to amputation.

Beloved,do you think destiny comes without warfare?

Do you think the devil will watch you grow, glow, and fulfill purpose in peace?

Impossible!

I'm not trying to scare you, but hear me: you are a threat.

Hell knows your future even more than you do.

That’s why your battles have been strange, heavy, and persistent.

The enemy fights who he fears.

And that is why survival alone isn't enough.

You must build spiritual capacity.

Dreams can be destroyed.

Brands can collapse.

Efforts can scatter

But a woman or man with spiritual fire? Unshakeable.

You can spend ten years building a career,

but if you don’t build an altar, a ten-year-old witch can pull it down in one night.

Don’t rise physically and shrink spiritually.

That imbalance is dangerous.

True success is when visible results

and invisible strength grow together.

Business owner.

Student.

Brand builder.

Dream chaser.

Creative.

It’s not enough to build a brand, build an altar too.

Because in the day of adversity,your logo won't save you, your spiritual stamina will.

And if your life has felt like attacks on every side, don’t be afraid.

It’s a sign of calling, not condemnation.

The devil doesn’t waste bullets on empty destinies.

Something about you is making him uncomfortable.

Your struggles aren't mistakes, they are markers of your destiny.

So rise, Phenomenal.

Tighten your prayer life.

Deepen your walk with God.

There was a girl I knew back then.

Every Sunday, she looked like fire for God. She would put on a long gown, scarf, Bible… the whole “church girl” appearance.

But during the week?

Her dressing told a completely different story: too loud, too revealing, too desperate for attention.

One day, a guy from our area said,

“This girl confuses me. On Sunday she looks like a preacher, on Monday she looks like a stranger.”

Beloved, that statement sank deep into my spirit.

We may not even be aware, but as Christians..

People are reading us like epistles. Our dressing becomes a message,our appearance could be the only sermon people choose to pay attention to.

So when our wardrobes contradicts our worship, people don’t know which version to believe. And often, the world can discern what we pretend not to see.

I once heard a woman say,

“How you dress reveals who you’re trying to attract.”

You see, modesty isn’t about hiding beauty, it’s about honoring the Presence you carry.

Even the Ark of God had a veil. Holiness has always been clothed. Glory has always been covered. Why? Because anything sacred requires protection.

Phenomenal one, you carry a calling.

You carry purpose, an anointing, a mantle.

Why present yourself cheaply?

Because when you exposing your body, you’re simply exposing your value.

The same value Jesus paid for on the cross of Calvary.

Your dressing should not scream indecency; it should whisper identity.

A modest believer must have this in mind,

“I know who I am, so I don’t need to show everything to prove anything.”

“I carry God, so I dress with honor.”

Whether in church, on campus, or even posting online, let your appearance reflect your assignment.

Beloved, you are more than a pretty face. You’re a message.

You’re God’s representative. Heaven’s ambassador on earth.

Let your light shine, not your body.

The Holy Spirit doesn’t just live in you; He wants to reflect through you… even in your wardrobe and lifestyle.

I want you to let go of crop tops, short skirts, revealing gowns and let your life begin to reveal Heaven’s standard.

You represent Heaven’s brand on earth, begin to dress like it. Begin to live like it.

Your body is God’s temple… treat it with dignity.

Let’s close with this:

Father, as we step out today, may Your Spirit remind us of the treasure we carry in our bodies and in our lives. Give us wisdom to dress and live in ways that honor Your presence. May our lives preach louder than our words, guiding our steps, our choices, and even the clothes we wear, so we reflect Heaven’s brand everywhere we go. Amen.

Not in a movie. Not on the internet. Behind my house.

Now here’s the thing - my house is directly behind a beer parlor.

Where you’ll see different shades of iniquity every single day.

That day, I just stepped out, and boom!

My eyes saw nonsense.

Ahhh! I ran back inside immediately!

Two grown adults, acting foolishly like they lost their senses.

I didn’t even realize when tears dropped from my eyes.

Now, right opposite my room lives a man who wakes up by 4 a.m.

Not to pray.

But to blast worldly songs at the highest volume possible.

Some mornings, as I try to pray,

it feels like the atmosphere is fighting me.

And I won’t lie, there were days I almost got tired.

Days I said, “God, this environment is choking me.”

Because it’s one thing to live in the world

and it’s another thing when the world is living right beside you.

Every day, my eyes and ears are tested.

And if I wanted, I could have chosen to be like them;

Spoilt, careless, corrupted by my environment.

But even in the midst of all that… I choose God.

Every day, I keep pleading the Blood of Jesus over my eyes and ears.

And gradually, God has helped me.

Beloved, let me tell you something - you can live in the center of Sodom and still be saved.

It’s a choice.

You can be surrounded by darkness, and still choose light.

You can be in a corrupted environment,

and still walk in purity.

Who said you can’t go to that university and graduate pure?

Who said you can’t work in that organization without taking bribes?

Who said you can’t be young and still live holy?

It’s a choice.

Every day, you can either choose to conform or you stand out.

Because we are that generation

that will not bow to the standards of the world.

We will not blend in, we will burn and uphold the banner of Christ.

So if you think you’ve prayed enough, pray more.

If you think you’ve read your Bible enough go deeper.

Because we’re in the last days,

where Iniquity shall abide.

You think you have seen iniquity? No, it hasn't started.

You've got to put on the whole armour of God.

You must guard your heart.

You must stay watchful. Stay burning.

Because though we live in Sodom,

we must choose to be saved.
