As multiple wildfires are raging through parts of Canada, the US and Europe, the web of global control is further closing in around us and the geopolitical situation is dividing people more than ever before. This life has become our reality and we try to navigate our reality as best we can.

The moment we begin to think and respond equal to our circumstances is also the moment we have lost the connection with our capacity to envision a different life, to tap into creativity and to dream beyond our wildest imaginations. We have become a victim to the circumstances and we might only find hope in a certain religion or in a political ideology.

I am a realist, I dream

Like growing up in a certain culture, we form our identity and our behaviour based on the identity and influence of the group. This is how we develop our worldview, and this worldview shapes our perception which is our reality.

Where did the endless dreaming go? What happened to your rich imagination that when you closed your eyes, it was so real that you loved being in that space? Where is your curiosity when you asked questions endlessly and wanted to know all about a topic that intrigued you so much?

Did you know that when you dream, you align your frequency with what you’re envisioning and therefore give it energy. The art of manifestation is real. We can even explain it in physics. In case you forgot, we manifest daily, on an individual level and on a collective level. You better become a more conscious manifester since the state of the world is a result of our collective energetic contribution.

During my travels, currently in the Northwest Territories and the Yukon, I have the most amazing conversations with what we like to call ‘random connections’. Fortunately I know better. During these connections, we inspire one another and we exchange our energies. In these moments, we literally give each other permission to do what we all love to do: “To see the beauty in others and to feel the importance of connection.” Therefore, dreaming is not just an individual choice, since we are part of a collective, we affect one another in significant ways. Personal, social and global coherence have been my passion for a good reason. I’ve studied the physics of it and I have been teaching this for many years. I have fallen in love with you, and with me, and nobody can change this.

After having spent almost six months in the US and Mexico, I am back on Canadian soil, for now. From having worked in the field of intuitive healing, trauma healing and spiritual growth, it definitely takes some adjustment to ‘just’ travel and take in life around me. The one thing I have plenty of time for is to observe and to listen. Whether this is in western Canada, in the US, in Mexico, and even in The Netherlands where I recently visited family. Observing people is something I have done most of my life. It teaches me how life truly works here on this planet, whether I agree with certain approaches or not that isn’t the point, at least I begin to better understand the world that I live in.

Speaking about ‘the world we live in’. It has almost been ten years that I designed a model that allows us to grow on a fundamental level. In this model, which I call ‘The Five Insights’, I explore the various stages we ideally go through before we can actually accomplish and choose to live according to our deepest desires and start exploring our highest potential. I have found that most of us humans have been taught to live a reactionary life, which means that our external circumstances mostly dictate how we feel. That has never felt very appealing to me and I know you would agree with me on this one. The interesting thing is that most people I know believe that this is how life for a human on this planet works and have begun to accept it. When we accept our reactionary life we cut ourselves off to be at peace and to express our highest potential.

The World We Live In

The 5 Insights starts with an exploration of the world we live in and the things we believe, as our beliefs shape our reality. It therefore this also means that when some of our beliefs change, our reality changes. That’s a biggie!

Let’s imagine for a moment that you and I go on a hiking trip far into the Canadian backcountry. We both have the same map and a compass and we agree that we hike solo to a destination (the dot on the map) and we will meet each other at that very location about a day later. “Off we go” we say and we leave. But after some moments you call my name and say: “Dirk, but where are we currently on the map?” Oops, I had forgotten to tell you what our present location was and that would have caused you a lot of confusion and delay and maybe we would not meet each other after all.

The above short story explains why the first step in The 5 Insights is crucial, yet I have seen very little focus on this in any of the work people do or how they navigate life. As you now can tell, it’s a crucial part of our journey, to not just assume we are at some point on the map.

During my travels I have realized more than ever before that virtually all of us have similar desires and aspirations. Yes even the Americans, you fellow Canadians… Most of us are really good people! The problem is that we have allowed ourselves that other people, mostly politicians and news media, told us where we are on the map. This has been so very well orchestrated on a global level that roughly fifty percent of the people are convinced we’re at location A while the other fifty percent is certain that we’re at location B. In other words, we have allowed ourselves to get divided based on an agenda that 99.9% of you is not even aware of. There is indeed an agenda in which it is dictated what the future on this planet should look like and it’s not the politicians that have a say in this—It’s a group of a very few billionaires that are shaping the future of how we should live and we can witness this unfold right in front of our own eyes at this very moment. The beauty is, in most of the conversations I have with people, almost everyone has a sense this is happening and it instantly removes the potential ‘political barrier’ and we feel much closer when we part ways. It’s no longer a so called conspiracy and it’s therefore easier to discuss, which is very much needed right now.

So, what if, the stuff that you believe is not necessarily true at all? How open are you to question your own beliefs? It’s for a good reason I have often quoted Mark Twain when he said:

“It ain’t what you don’t know that gets you into trouble. It’s what you know for sure, that just ain’t so.”

Maybe read that again and ask yourself how open are you really, as it determines navigating your future life on this planet.

But… ‘The 5 Insights’ retreat is no longer there as I stopped hosting them. I am curious how much you resonate with the approach when you look at the image and the various insights. I would love to hear from you.

Although I might be sharing articles less frequently with you since I am ‘a traveller’, it’s my desire that the essence touches you in some way.

Travelling is wonderful and exciting but it also requires me to adapt, let go and be creative all of the time. It’s a process nobody can ever teach you, not even the most admired teacher or sexiest plant medicine. It’s a life altering path that offers me deeper insights and even more peace.

It was in 2016 that I wrote a short book with the title: “The 7 Principles of Happy Living” and chapter 4 was about: “Least Effort”, my favourite and often least understood topic. It’s a principle we can directly learn from nature, but today I like to provide you with a more scientific approach.

You might have heard before that the harder you want something, the further it gets pushed away. Treating your goals like ‘no big deal’ works better than obsessing over them. Those who have practiced heart coherence using a heart rhythm monitor know exactly what I’m talking about.

When we assign high importance to our goals or intentions, it will create ‘excess potential’, a form of mental and emotional pressure that leads to resistance and obstacles. By lowering importance, acting calmly, and adjusting our response to problems, we can move toward versions of life where things flow more easily. A calm state improves focus and decision-making, while desperation leads to stress and mistakes. What you chase emotionally creates tension, but what you allow comes closer. Reality does not change, but how you move within it does. This sounds deep, I know, so let me explain that a bit more.

Reality is like a movie with infinite versions already filmed, and we can learn to ‘slide’ between them by changing our inner state. Treating goals or intentions like ‘no big deal’ makes them manifest faster than ‘wanting’ ever could. It’s your inner state that determines which track you experience, but I realize that it’s a fundamental change in how we interact with reality.

When you begin to see that reality exists as infinite parallel tracks, each representing a different version of events that could unfold, it’s then your inner state (your thoughts, emotions, and energy) that determines which track you experience. You are constantly tuning in to different versions of reality. The potential problem is however that when you assign high importance to something, you create energetic turbulence that actually pushes you away from what you want. The solution is to lower the importance, and you naturally slide into better timelines where your desires already exist. It’s like effortlessly switching from one tv channel to another—they’re always broadcasting but you will only experience the one you tune into.

Here’s how you can approach this process:

Step 1: Lower the importance. Release the pressure by treating your desire as ‘nice to have’ rather than ‘must have’ by trusting the universal process.

Step 2: Act and feel as if it’s already arranged. Move through your day knowing the universe has already handled it for you (as it has).

Step 3: Slide between realities. When so called obstacles appear, mentally step sideways into a parallel reality where they don’t exist (change tv channel).

The core principle is that these steps work together to remove resistance and align your energy with reality you want to experience.

The energy mechanics of manifestation is really important to understand. Desperation blocks you because desperation and attachment create energetic resistance, as frequency, like trying to swim upstream against a powerful current. On the other hand, when you treat your goal as a ’no big deal’, you remove the excess potential that creates obstacles. You then allow your energy to become neutral and flowing, like water finding its natural path downhill as it effortlessly runs around the rocks. This neutral state allows you to slide naturally into the reality track where your desire already exists. No struggle required. In more scientific terms, this is called: Harmonic Resonance. It’s how two tuning forks, tuned to the same frequency, both resonate when you only touch the one.

Be light as a feather

When you pretend that you don’t care while secretly being attached, use this as another technique to force results, or give up action entirely, you are still coming from a place of fearful trying. What if you take a deep breath and see yourself as a feather and feel the lightness in your being. What if you begin to trust the magnificence of who you really are and take inspired action from relaxation and feel yourself slide into realities that already exist, because you choose your track by consciously choosing your inner state. You will then become motivated by love. It’s my personal experience that the more you play with this and experience the effects, the easier and more fun it becomes. It will just be ‘a given’ that it works this way, and that’s the moment you have changed your relationship with life and therefore your reality has changed.

It has been almost a month ago since I wrote my last article. I used to write articles every week but my travels have interfered with that pattern. Maybe I will combine the travelling and the message I like to share with you. Let’s see. Times are currently too important to just talk about the weather and complain about certain political leaders. There’s much more going on in our lives and we need to develop ways to remain grounded, healthy and happy.

Over the past six months, I have been travelling south, into the United States and then into Baja, Mexico. Our vehicle is a European style Land Rover Defender and it can take us almost everywhere—From the desolate deserts to remote beaches. Every day, we meet wonderful humans, despite what the newsreaders want us to believe. One of the first questions that people often ask is: “Where do you live?” For almost sixty years, my brain has been trained to respond like: “Just around the corner from here” or “in city ‘so-and-so’ “ and for the last twenty-four years I would have told them “I live in BC, Canada”. But now it’s different since we sold our house last year, just to do this—Travel. On a remote beach on the Baja peninsula, hours away from a village, I ran into someone and we started to talk and before too long he asked me where I lived. I was surprised about my own spontaneous reply: “I live where I am” I told him. He nervously smiled a bit as he wasn’t sure how to read me yet and how to interpret my unusual answer. Later that day I thought about my seemingly smart-ass reply and I realized it came from a deep and genuine place.

Over the past ten years, I have worked with amazing people who had been diagnosed with complex trauma; often military veterans and retired police officers. As a result of their sustained trauma, their lives have changed significantly and they often told me that it seems they live in a different world and sometimes in a different body. My professional training and experience have taught me that where we currently are; emotionally and mentally, becomes our reality and is the place where we live. It’s so real and we become so stuck in that pattern that we often don’t have the capacity to find a way out. It would be an understatement to tell you that spending so much time and energy with these people has impacted me on many levels. I am very grateful for these experiences as it has taught me to better understand who we really are.

Looking again at the sentence above, life has taught me that when that pattern is ‘good’ or ‘bearable’, we don’t even think of changing it. Why would we? Our brain and the rest of our body loves to be in familiar territory and just wants to ‘idle’. It’s probably how most of us live our lives. “Life is good” we say and we continue on, until things change… It could be personal like an illness, the death of a loved one or relationship challenges, but right now things are changing fast on a collective scale, that means for all of us: politically motivated wars are being fought, a globalist agenda is being carried out which means more control and less freedom, the dark and sinister underbelly of our society is being exposed which often involves innocent children and the cost of living is spinning out of control. The worst part is that this is all by design. It’s how the elites operate, and despite what you might think of this, it’s our very own reality.

A Coincidence?

Was it a coincidence that in the middle of this global crisis that life has nudged me into a different direction? Walking away from work with deep meaning and a wonderful house in the mountains of British Columbia? I don’t believe in coincidences as I believe we all have a very specific agreement with life. I strongly believe that we are being asked to embrace our highest potential in stead of settling for a ‘good’ or ‘bearable’ life. To be honest though, that last part has been trying to play tricks on me lately. Despite of all of my amazing adventures, spending 100% of my time in nature and in natural daylight and experiencing all the lovely connections, my brain can easily try to trick me into telling me that this is not a life living my highest potential and that my purpose is not much more than driving around and taking in the ever changing scenery. It makes me smile as I am well aware that our brains don’t like change and all it does is to make me doubt my decisions so I will move back to my familiar life. It would be easy for us to get confused and maybe even feel paralyzed at times, but whether you make a grand decision in your life or you witness the world events unfold (or experience both…) just know that you are given free choice and access to a higher intelligence in your heart. I don’t know about you, but I deeply trust that and I know that my decision was not merely a coincidence and maybe more of an alignment with where the rapidly changing world is at.

So now the question is “Where do we choose to live?”. First of all, we do have a choice, even if you think you don’t. Have you thought about where you want to live? You could list the things that are naturally most important to you and give you a sense of ease, freedom and genuine connection. You can then make a connection with your heart and allow yourself to feel the sensations that come with those words. Just feel those sensations in your heart. When you do this daily, you begin to live there. But the real beauty is that you create a frequency in and around you that exactly matches those items on your list. This harmonic resonance will literally change where you live and also others will feel that. Before too long, thoughts, events and people who are aligned with that frequency will appear and those are the guides you can trust. We collectively create this world and not just some elites with bad intentions, only if we allow them to. Go to that place in your heart and inspire others to do the same, and before too long this is where we collectively will live. Let me know when you do. I am curious. Most of what we’ve been told about ageing is merely a cultural story. It’s a story we believe so deeply, that it has become our reality. It’s also a story designed to control our perception of life itself, and it’s generally a very limited one.

Ageing is not a law of nature but it is a state of the mind. A firmly rooted belief you could say. A limitation we’ve accepted without even questioning it. Our DNA does not carry “age”, it’s merely a blueprint for life. It does not dictate when our bodies will fail. It only carries life, regeneration, and therefore potential.

Our bodies are constantly renewing themselves. Even in older people, even in bodies that feel heavy or tired, life is still flowing:

• The skin regenerates every 4-6 weeks

• The blood is constantly renewing itself

• The lung tissue renews in weeks to months

• The liver regenerates in 300-500 days

• Every muscle and tissue regenerates in 15 years

• Even our personality transforms every 7 years

We are designed to regenerate, yet we often sabotage this process; negative thinking and unresolved emotions are the typical cause of blockages in our life flow (Chi). It’s not the passage of years, but it’s our beliefs about “growing old” and “normal life” that are our true limits, not the so-called “disease of old age”. We die when we stop believing in life. When our hearts, minds, and spirits contract. When fear, resentment, and grief dominate our inner world. If we choose differently, the rules change. If we embrace life fully, the body follows. If we release the past, the body thrives. If we nourish ourselves with clean air, water, food, and thoughts, the body will respond with vitality. But healing is of course not just physical. Health is a reflection of our emotional, mental, and spiritual state combined. We have the opportunity to practice consciously, on a daily basis.

The ageing program is in the mind. It was planted there by our culture, society; the collective as a whole. We were taught that bodies wear out. We were taught that life has an expiration date. But the truth is: life is eternal. The body is a vessel of our consciousness and our consciousness is limitless. Time is a construct as well. Fear of death is caused by a story. Regeneration is natural. Vibrational alignment with life itself is key. Thriving is a choice. Every thought you hold about yourself matters. Every belief about your body, mind, and life creates the reality you live in. You are therefore not bound by years or your DNA. You are only bound by your perception of longevity and the functioning of your DNA.

Walk gently with yourself. Release the weight of inherited beliefs. Heal the emotional patterns that contract life and elevate your vibration. The body will follow the mind. The mind will follow the spirit. The spirit is eternal. Your life can be renewed again and again. Not in fragments. Not partially, but fully.

Live as though you are ageless. Think as though you are limitless. Feel as though life is infinite. Your DNA is not a prison. It is a blueprint—A reflection of the choices you make. You are a mirror of your consciousness and this is epigenetics 101. When you awaken to this truth, you will see that the years never mattered. The only thing that matters is the flow of life inside you.

“Know thyself” was inscribed upon the temple of Apollo in the Ancient Greek precinct of Delphi. But the search for wisdom goes even back to the 5th century, further interpreted by philosopher Heraclitus. The phrase basically means: “Know your soul”, although our modern narrative prefers to explain it as; “know your limits”, but that’s for a different chapter of my insights.

Over the last few decennia, I have noticed a strong search among humans for a better understanding of who they are as the world around us promotes principles that are not innate to the human soul. As part of our conditioning (“know your limits”) we have consulted with new age teachers, new corporate funded scientific research, pharma based solutions, political choices and emerging technologies. That worked, until it didn’t anymore.

And today, it feels like nothing makes sense anymore. Deepak Chopra and Oprah appear hundreds of times in the dark Epstein files, most of our political leaders are corrupted (Epstein) to serve a handful of globalist billionaires and the best medical science and experienced medical doctors are being censored to protect the almighty power of big pharma. I could go on and go much deeper, but I won’t, as that is not my focus for this article.

I felt called to share the above in order to illustrate that the global agenda runs deep and it definitely runs against you. This might be shocking to read, but in that case it also means that the programming of human consciousness has been quite successful. No wonder that we haven’t advanced a lot in finding the answers to the question: “Who am I?”

Spiritual teachers have built programs for you to embrace ‘the new human’. Politicians create a global narrative that freedom of speech is too extreme and introduced more censorship than ever before and Elon Musk has developed one of the most advanced new technologies to replace the human soul with a new super human: Neuralink. No wonder that most of us are confused and at the same time, I notice that most of the people I know, have fully or partially bought into the trans-humanist concepts and agenda as they are part of the political sales pitch. Not because we aren’t smart enough, but because they believe that their favourite politician, the medical system and their financial planners have some of the answers and their best interest. That naturally expressed faith is beautiful, it shows who we really are: we trust those who make us feel good and feel safe and serve our interest. This human trait has some potential flaws however. But there is a way to gain deeper understanding which is so solid, that no matter what happens around you, wisdom keeps flowing into your very own consciousness. And this is exactly what scares the global elites the most: You know who you are and you start acting accordingly. It will be game over for these same elites with their self serving and even evil agendas and the world will be naturally occupied (again) by the new human.

That seems to be impossible

It’s not, but it requires the willingness to challenge your own beliefs. Once we begin to realize that we have been living in a simulation, that is the moment we can learn to think outside of the program. It takes patience, practice, and a lot of compassion. It also means that your relationship with life changes—we can slowly develop the way we see and perceive. Here, on a remote little beach in Baja California, that is relatively easy. It might be easy because I have been focusing on this process most of my life, and here on the beach are no conditioned human interactions. Until… this morning when I walked into a couple living in the US. I believe they were South African. After a ‘whale spotting story’ he started to bring up the T word (Trump). I experience this almost every day. I listened to the lines he repeated from the news he listens to. After he stopped talking about his favourite topic I dropped some thought provoking lines like: “What worries me more is the expanding power that the unelected global elites begin to have over us. It’s some billionaires that run the show. Just read the book ‘COVID-19: The Great Reset’ by Klaus Schwab (leader of the World Economic Forum-WEF). The same billionaires even control the political climate and the country leaders worldwide.” He was quiet and then shockingly told me he had been reading more about this and he found it very interesting. I noticed that it was hard for him to handle the depth this conversation was heading into, and I decided to switch topic by reaffirming the beauty of the beach we both walked on. At least I was successful in interrupting his loop created by the news he watches.

If you do have the willingness to challenge your own beliefs, to stop watching the news and to practice the art of being present and observing (without the need to attach any meaning), initially you begin to notice subtle changes. But if you persist and maybe even expand into learning to practice heart coherence, life will start responding. You’re now in the same vibrational frequency as the frequency of our planet (7.8Hz) and this harmonic resonance will provide you access to deeper insights, feeling more at peace and that is the moment your entire reality changes. No guru, therapist or politician needed as you have developed a direct communication link with life itself. Your old self has started to slowly die. You feel empowered to follow your own truth. You’ve become a new human!

It’s been a while since writing my latest article. During our travels, I synchronistically meet special people and the ever changing places I hang out at leave me with new insights and information. It all means that I don’t always find the time to bring into words what is happening in my world.

It’s no secret anymore that we live in a world that is being controlled by a very few. Not just randomly for the pleasure of control—It goes back centuries and most of this is related to worshipping a higher power and acquiring those same powers. Even most of you don’t realize this is happening, or you just reject this truth, you experience the effects every single day.

The matter I am describing here is very complex as it is not part of your dimensional reality, and naturally we tend to reject this information. But that doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist. In short, it all comes down to keeping us in a low vibrational state. Being in this state collectively feeds the global field and that is the goal of the ruling class - make us become part of their envisioned reality. Although I will spare you the details, you can witness the process yourself every single day. Nothing is random and the world events are serving their ultimate purpose. Whether it is watching the globally redacted news, the endless wars we start, the economic instability that is being created, the gloabl financial conspiracy and the artificial intelligence that is being introduced at lightning speed. It’s all there to generate an overwhelming amount of fear, anxiety, hopelessness and division.

As most of you know, I’ve made it my humble task to help shift the global electromagnetic field. Almost non-stop, I have studied the science and evolution behind the feedback loop between humans and the global field. Just research the science that Joe Dispenza applies in his work, but also stem cell biologist Dr Bruce Lipton, Gregg Braden and the HeartMath Institute. I have spent time with all of them and the only thing they don’t like to bring up is… this very topic. It’s not popular because it’s too far removed from our perceived reality.

The reason I have chosen to spend my time and energy on this feedback loop, is because I understand that the life that is being given to us also isn’t random. Life on this planet is highly intelligent and is highly organized and we are meant to embrace those gifts so we can fully enjoy this worldly experience.

When we begin to understand that our vibrational state feeds the global field, we are no longer interested to allow ourselves to live in the lower frequencies of fear, anger, hatred and even shame.

Most of you have never participated in the Coherence Hotspots that I organized in many places around the world, but the sole focus is to shift our emotional state by allowing ourselves to feel the impact of genuine connections, of kindness, care and love. Scientifically we can measure the change in our frequency when we do that and that is the exact antidote to what I was writing about earlier.

Nothing is random here on our unique Planet Earth. It’s not the story you’ve been told about over and over again—that we are evil, powerless and insignificant and that we need the latest piece of technology in order to fulfill our role during this lifetime.

When we begin to clearly see and understand that there’s a war being fought over our individual and ultimately collective consciousness, we no longer participate in the narratives that are being set up for us. That’s the moment we are no longer being controlled. That’s also the moment we collectively begin to shift the frequency in the field.

The moment you begin to feel that at the core of your being, you stop watching the news media propaganda, you stop engaging in the political agenda that has divided many of us. It’s the moment you only want to contribute to a higher frequency as you know that before too long, we are collectively shifting the field. When we get there, the global forces no longer hold power over us and the house of cards will be collapsing soon because it’s being built on the lower frequency. At this very moment, this is happening already.

Being here in Mexico and sharing some of this important topic with you, every single day I experience something beautiful; the locals here seem to get it. They are immensely kind, helpful and grateful. Their smiles light up the community. They are actually the fuel of the community. Although there is enough poverty here, I don’t witness the loneliness that I observe when travelling through Canada and the United States.

It is my wish that you trust the voice in your heart. The rest is noise, covering that powerful signal. You’re here to shine and to live freely by utilizing the frequency tuner that you came with—It’s your heart. We live in unique and important times. This is the time our ancestors have been predicting; the birth of a new world.

The sun sets over the mountains in the Sonora desert. It’s the light that I love the most; the purplish, pinkish light that I’ve only experienced here in the desert. As the coyotes start their loud dramatic ritual, and the cacti are the calm witness of all of the serene beauty, I take a deep breath as I can feel the love and perfection of nature.

It’s almost Christmas. The time when family and friends gather to either acknowledge their spiritual beliefs and express gratitude, or just to feel the warmth of the human connection, in a world that exudes so much division, coldness, suffering and even hatred.

As a child, I loved celebrating Christmas but I also very soon realized that despite all the good intentions of the adults, a ‘higher power’ seems to have other plans for us as humans. And that… hasn’t changed.

But how do these cacti manage to be so grounded and calm and how do they stand so tall amidst all of these challenges? What do they know that we seem to have forgotten?

It feels to me that they remember love. Not the kind of love that comes with all of these conditions. And not the kind of love that hurts, like ‘Nazareth’ performed so well. The cacti hold the source of love and naturally know how to amplify it. The liquid inside them is the perfect aide for this magical process. The feathery friends love to gather on their sharp prickles as they know they are safe with them. And who knows, they might charge themselves with the pure, loving energy of the cactus. Do the birds know? Some of them are even invited to nest inside them.

To me, it looks like a perfect harmony. A harmony we seem to have lost as humans. Unlike the cacti and birds, we have been programmed to feel lack, to consume, to judge and to endlessly suffer. We have forgotten what it feels like to be in this eternally harmonious dance with the love that created us. This same love is what allows us to experience the magic that the cacti and birds live and thrive off.

Sigh, what makes us, as intelligent species, completely lose this knowingness in the grander scheme of life? Is there indeed an evil force that is trying to prevent us of remembering this? The short answer is “yes” and the patterns are obvious and it has been there for a very long time. But that’s a very deep topic, maybe for another time. It’s our consciousness and our easily programmable brain that gets in the way of what just comes natural to the cactus and the birds.

But what is needed for you to remember this kind of love? What are you willing to let go off or to change in order to remember love? What is truly needed for this?

I think it’s simple. I choose not to strive, not to search, not to chase and not to let go off. But also not to comply with anything that is presented to me that doesn’t meet the standard of the ‘cactus love’. I don’t care what others want me to be. That all gets in the way of what I am asked to remember. But don’t worry, we are designed to remember, as long as our intentions are pure.

I choose to tune my energetic state to the loving frequency of nature. I choose to feel the love of this eternal dance. Not because I am that ignorant or silly, but because I know that I feed the field, inside myself and all around me. Every single day. With my intentions, with my love, with my choices, with my thoughts and also with my actions. Naturally, we then become the creators we are meant to be, leaving all that is irrelevant behind. The more we become who we really are, the more we also remember love.

As I am writing this article, I am enjoying a homemade cappuccino in the morning sun in the Sierras in California. Life’s slowed down for me during the 2025 cycle of completion (this year is number 9 in numerology). But this cycle applies to all of us. Maybe you have recognized this already in your own life.

This cycle of completion is not just very important for us to realize, but it is extremely visible in our society as we live in times of extreme change. You just have to look around you, wherever you are on the planet.

During my sunrise stroll, I walked into in older gentleman—a very friendly local who was enjoying the peaceful sunrise as much as I did, it seemed. We talked about life and the importance of genuine connection. He mentioned the deteriorating state of society in California which results in desperation and crime. We both agreed on the fact that it’s our ‘governments’ that don’t have our best interest and we both wondered what the true agenda behind this is—whether it’s in the United States, Canada, The Netherlands or any other western nation.

We thanked each other for the open and heartfelt conversation before we went our own way again, but we clearly realized that ‘our own way’ really is our way as brothers and sisters.

And I sit here, reflecting on this beautiful start of my day, wondering what it is that life truly wants from us.

I have been playing an active role in the healing of humanity. I’ve also witnessed smartass food gurus who want us to follow certain protocols for healing, spiritual leaders with sexy dogmas, well intentioned doctors, trained by a pharma owned system, who contribute to a further deteriorating health of our society. Not to mention the global cartels who own our governments who spew their propaganda at an unprecedented speed over all of us, where they sell us ‘comfort’ to apply more and more control. What is the real agenda?

Since I stepped away from my ‘role’ and choose to make a deeper connection with life itself, it seems that I begin to see more clearly now. I already saw through the stories and the roles that most of us play, but now, things land deeper and the single one question that comes up is: “What does life want from me?”

I am a firm believer that situations and people present itself at the right time. I also have a strong knowing that we as humans are way more powerful and resourceful than we are lead to believe. That power mainly lies in tuning our hearts and minds to the frequency of beauty, of love, of connection and of collective thriving, despite the fact that our environments often promote the opposite. We need to be so intentional, that no thing or person can take us away from firing up that inner care and love.

It would be tempting for me to start some retreats again, where we gather, connect and grow, like I did in the past. It would be tempting to start my Coherence Hotspots again so we can create coherence as a group again. It would maybe be tempting to start online courses with the most attractive headlines and intentions described. But I realize more than ever before, that it takes something ‘larger’, something that we haven’t witnessed and felt yet. This ‘something’ will make us realize that we have been preparing, in our own, often limited way, for something grand. We as humanity are growing up, but the systems designed by our governments are meant to slow us down. This time, it won’t work though. I am very certain of that and the (good) signs are on the wall.

As we are heading into a brand new cycle (one) 2026, the designers of the systems will try harder, but ultimately, they won’t succeed. Please do not allow yourself to lose hope or get confused, as our collective consciousness is growing at an accelerated speed. All that is needed is to tune into the frequency of care, compassion and love, no matter what our environment promotes. We therefore need to learn to not comply with the things that don’t feel right and are designed against us. Just be kind and say “no thank you, I won’t participate in that” and continue onto the path that feels right for you.

Planet Earth, including all living systems, is in a unique electromagnetic frequency (since 2008) and this ‘portal’ will remain here until 2030. Our ancestors already predicted this time. All systems, including us as humans, are being tuned to a higher frequency and consciousness and this includes our DNA, which is magnetic too. It has been a while since I reached out to you and I am therefore grateful and happy to write this new article from a warm and breezy small island in the Pacific Ocean on a Friday afternoon—“Life is good” as they like to say.

Travelling always seems to have a beginning (start date) and an end (end date). It’s like the expiration date of a carton of milk. The main difference is that after you decide to end your travels, you can’t travel anymore (otherwise you didn’t end it), but you can still decide to drink your milk after the expiration date, the chances are that it just tastes gross.

I have been fascinated with the brain’s linear perception of time and how that has become the foundation of so many truths in our society. But every time I spoke with someone with a so called ‘near death experience’ (NDE), they all claim the same: “There is no time and everything happens simultaneously.”

For more than twenty years, Dutch cardiologist Pim van Lommel has studied near-death experiences in patients who survived a cardiac arrest. In 2001, he and his fellow researchers published a study on Near Death Experiences in the renowned medical journal The Lancet. It involved 344 consecutive patients successfully resuscitated after cardiac arrest across ten Dutch hospitals. The study found that 18% of these patients reported an NDE, with 12% describing a core experience characterized by enhanced consciousness, including lucid thoughts, emotions, memories, and sometimes perception from a position outside their body during clinical death.

Van Lommel’s work suggests that NDEs are authentic experiences that cannot be simply reduced to physiological factors such as oxygen deficiency, hallucination, fear of death, psychosis, or the use of drugs. He argues that the clarity of consciousness reported during periods of apparent brain inactivity challenges the conventional materialistic view that consciousness is solely a product of brain function. His findings have led him to propose the concept of nonlocal or enhanced consciousness, which may exist independently of the brain during periods of clinical death.

Getting back to the end - which is the beginning

Last month, I ended my life as I knew it. It didn’t have an expiration date as far as I know, so the taste of the current days are fresh and sweet. We sold most of our possessions, including our house, and now it’s time to explore and to experience if the end really is the beginning. If not, then we’re kind of screwed, but I can tell you now, with enough confidence, that all comes down to our level of consciousness when we embark on a new journey after closing another chapter. And the nonlocal part mentioned in Van Lommel’s research is for us a nonlocal-uberlocal state since we are very presently local and begin to experience nonlocal at the same time. That might sound confusing…

Most folks of my age seem to have all of their focus on designing more comfort in their lives. They’ve worked hard and now it’s ‘payback’ time. But after professionally spending almost two decades in the field of emotional trauma and deeper understanding human consciousness, I know one thing for certain: “Humans do not grow and expand while being comfortable.” I have witnessed however, people effectively processing deep emotional trauma, who made giant leaps in their spiritual growth (not to forget my personal experiences). Those experiences have affected me deeply and they inspired me to do what I am currently undertaking. It has also taught me that the end is never the end—the end is always the beginning. It is up to us with what kind of energy and intention we fuel the moments with, as each moment holds all of the potential that is available on our beautiful planet. This very moment, for me, holds the same potential as for the young toddler I observed playing on the beach this morning. The way we direct our energy is everything. When we get ourselves in that state, the brain starts to calm down as it’s usually not our friend in these kind of processes.

Be no body, Be it all

It is my wish that you continue to tap into your imagination, to continue to be intrigued and learn, and to understand that we all have been and are playing small compared to our ultimate possibilities. Your dreams are not merely dreams, they are real experiences in a nonlocal reality and they become part of not only your consciousness but also part of your genetic expression. We can learn from these dreams. In the meantime, I am teaching myself the art of consciously designing new dreams. Not just dreams for myself. Dreams for humanity. What is it you are choosing?

Why does awakening make you feel more alone than connected? Why does growth feel like you're losing touch with everyone else? You'd think awakening would feel like a celebration, like finally breaking out of the fog, finally getting things clear. But instead, something strange happens. The world doesn't look the same. People don't sound the same. Conversations that once felt comforting now feel hollow. You're not trying to be judgmental and you're not above anyone. But something's changed.

You sit across from a friend and they're talking about the same weekend plans, the same gossip, the same complaints, and suddenly your body tightens. You nod. You smile. But inside you feel disconnected, like you're on a different planet. No, a different frequency. And that's the part no one warns you about. That the more awakened you become, the lonelier it might feel, at least at first.

So why does this happen? Why do people drain you when all you've done is grow? This isn't about being antisocial. It's not burnout. Carl Jung, the legendary Swiss psychiatrist, understood this spiritual fatigue way before anyone put it into words. He didn't just call it awakening. He called it individuation, a psychological and spiritual evolution. And it comes with unexpected costs.

The Persona

Jung believed that most people are wearing a mask, not in a manipulative way, but as a survival instinct. That mask, he called the persona. It's who we think we need to be to be accepted. It's the role we play. We wear it at work, around family, even with friends. And for a while, that mask helps us feel safe, loved, understood. But awakening is what happens when the persona starts cracking. Something in you starts whispering: "There's more than this." You start to ask uncomfortable questions. You start saying no to things that once felt automatic. And the deeper you go, the more obvious it becomes. Many of your relationships were built around your persona, not your authentic self. So when that mask slips off, some connections simply can't survive. That's why you feel tired. Not because people are bad, but because who you were is no longer there to meet them. Even your nervous system is still wired to play the old role. You walk into a room and you instinctively prepare to shrink, to please, to entertain, to agree, just to avoid tension. But your soul is screaming for truth, for alignment, and realness. And that tension between your conditioning and your consciousness, that's what drains you. That's what burns you out socially. Not the people, but the parts of you that are no longer willing to pretend.

The Shadow

The truth is, awakening isn't about escaping others. It's about integrating your wholeness so you can finally relate in a way that doesn't cost you energy. And this is where Carl Jung's concept of the shadow comes in. The term shadow sounds dark, maybe even scary, but it's not evil. It's just unseen. It's all the parts of ourselves we've been taught to hide, deny, or disown. It's our jealousy, our anger, our fear. But also, surprisingly, our potential, our brilliance, our intuitive power. The shadow isn't just your darkness. It's your wholeness waiting for light. And when you awaken, you start to see the shadow, not only in yourself, but in others, too. And it's overwhelming. Conversations that once seemed harmless now feel loaded with unconscious energy. You feel what people aren't saying. You hear what's beneath their words, their pain, their projections, and their masks. And you realize most interactions aren't really between two people. They're between two personas. two carefully curated performances trying to keep peace, avoid discomfort, and stay liked. And when your soul awakens, you just can't play that game anymore. Not because you're better than anyone, but because your body starts rejecting what's false. It literally feels heavy, suffocating, exhausting. It's like trying to breathe in a room with no windows. You need truth like oxygen.

Now, authenticity becomes your only nourishment. And here's where it gets personal. You start to recognize your shadow in others. That friend who always needs to be right. Maybe that was you once. That colleague who needs validation constantly. Maybe that's the part of you you're still healing. The people who trigger you most often are mirrors reflecting the very parts of yourself that haven't fully integrated yet. Jung said, "Everything that irritates us about others can lead us to an understanding of ourselves, and it's uncomfortable because your awakening is showing you the truth in layers.

At first, it seems like others are the problem. Then you realize you were just like them. Then you understand you still are. But you're evolving. You're choosing awareness. And that's what makes the difference. But the danger in awakening is spiritual ego. Thinking you're the enlightened one and everyone else is asleep. That's not growth. That's just another mask. Real awakening means compassion for yourself, for others, and for the younger version of you who needed those old patterns to survive. It's in that compassion that healing begins, that fatigue lessens, that your energy becomes less about protecting yourself and more about honouring who you are. And guess what? As you integrate more of your shadow, you stop needing to distance yourself so much because you're no longer fighting your own reflection in others.

Emotional Sensitivity

If you've ever felt like you're too sensitive, too empathetic, or too aware, the following will be a game changer. It's something not many people talk about when it comes to awakening. It's not just psychological or spiritual, it's physiological, too. Your body, especially your nervous system, is undergoing an upgrade. And that comes with consequences. For most of your life, your nervous system adapted to chaos, noise, pressure, and pretence. You became used to emotional static, like background noise that never quite goes away. And that noise conditioned you to stay on alert, to scan the room, to keep the peace, to read the energy. Especially if you're an empath or highly sensitive person, this was your survival mechanism. You didn't just listen to people, you absorbed them. You didn't just notice moods, you felt them. You became a sponge for other people's emotional weather systems. And that kind of vigilance takes a massive toll over time.

Now add awakening to that. Awakening amplifies your perception. You don't just notice surface energy. You begin to sense dissonance, misalignment, manipulation, even if it's unintentional. You pick up on unsaid things, micro expressions, energy mismatches, and your nervous system goes into overdrive because it doesn't yet know how to process this new level of awareness. It hasn't caught up with your consciousness, so it keeps reacting the old way. And that's the part no one tells you. Awakening doesn't feel like sitting peacefully on a mountaintop. It often feels like sensory overload in a crowded room. Even a normal conversation can feel like static in your brain if your body hasn't learned how to regulate in this new awareness. And this leads many awakened souls to mistake themselves as broken. You're not broken! You're just not numb anymore. You're finally feeling what was always there, but filtered out by conditioning. And that can be exhausting. You're not too sensitive. You're accurately sensitive. You're finally tuned into life.

But here's the beautiful part. As your nervous system learns to co-regulate with your higher awareness, the overwhelm fades. The emotional spikes lessen. You begin to discern without absorbing. You begin to feel with people, not for them. You begin to observe without personalizing. And that's when social interaction becomes sacred again. You stop needing to shrink. You stop needing to armour up. You just stay anchored in your energy and let others be where they are.

After the Fatigue

So what happens after the fatigue, the rebalancing and the new type of relationships you begin to attract? And how do you engage with others from your true self, not from guilt, duty, or habit? Something beautiful and honestly liberating. The moment you stop performing, something shifts in you. You're no longer choosing connections out of survival. You're choosing from resonance. You're not people pleasing to avoid conflict. You're honouring your truth even when it's uncomfortable. You're not staying to be liked. You're staying where you feel seen. It's subtle but powerful. Instead of seeking safety in others, you start to become the safety you once needed. Carl Jung believed that integration, not perfection, is the goal of psychological wholeness. That means bringing together your conscious self, your unconscious patterns, your shadow, your light, your wounds, your wisdom, all of it. Not to be flawless, but to be authentic. And from that authenticity, your relationships transform. You'll notice that you begin attracting people who speak your energetic language, who don't drain you because they're not asking you to shrink, who don't project their pain onto you, but hold space for yours, too. These are soul aligned connections. And often they start to appear after a season of solitude. That solitude wasn't loneliness. It was your field clearing itself, making room, recalibrating your energetic boundaries.

When you're in the thick of awakening, it's common to feel like something's wrong because you don't relate to people the way you used to. But here's the truth. You're not meant to relate the same. You're meant to relate from a deeper place now, from presence, clarity, and alignment. And that changes everything. You let your peace guide the dynamic. You stop proving your worth. You embody it. You stop engaging out of guilt. You connect out of choice. And this doesn't make you cold or detached. It makes you anchored. It makes your love more powerful because it's no longer filtered through fear. And yes, some people will fall away, not because you're abandoning them, but because they were only ever in sync with a version of you that you've outgrown. Grieving those connections is part of the awakening, too. But it's not a step back. It's a step home. Every ending is an invitation. And every person who stays or arrives in your life after this process comes into contact with the real you—the one beneath the persona and beyond the performance.

And this fatigue you felt, this disconnect, this isolation, this energetic sensitivity, it's all part of that privilege. Because the real reward of awakening isn't escaping people. It's reclaiming your inner space so deeply that no one can pull you out of it again. So if you're in that strange space where you're tired of people, tired of noise, tired of pretending, trust it. It means you're waking up. And when you come out the other side, you won't just relate differently. You'll live differently.

Did you ever realize that for centuries we believed that the earth was flat? Not just a few of us – many ancient cultures have had conceptions of a flat earth, including Greece, India and China. We were all convinced that the world was portrayed as a flat disk floating in the ocean and surrounded by a spherical sky and when you came too close to the horizon, you seriously risked your life, because by that time we also hadn't figured out what gravity was all about.

After almost three centuries of philosophical speculation, this new paradigm was gradually adopted throughout the “Old World” during the Middle Ages. A practical demonstration of earth's sphericity was achieved by Portuguese explorer Ferdinand Magellan and Spaniard Juan Sebastián Elcano's expedition's circumnavigation (1519−1522) and this expedition removed any reasonable doubt in educated circles in Europe – We now came to find out that our planet was not flat but round and that gravity kept us from falling off. That was a huge shock for most of us but at the same time a whole new world literally opened up.

The story above indicates that the way we think and the elements we believe in first create our reality and ultimately, and most often, remain our reality for the rest of our lives. Did you ever think about this? Maybe not. Most of us don't.

But here’s the scary big question: “What if we decide today that the stuff that we believe might not necessarily be true at all. What could that mean for the way we look at the world, how we live our own life and interact with others?” I know one thing for sure that it will open up so many new and exciting possibilities! Désillusion

The term "désillusion" is a French noun meaning the state of losing an illusion, particularly when reality fails to meet expectations or imagination. It is synonymous with disappointment, disillusionment, disenchantment, or deception.

And to me, that’s exactly the reason most of us don’t want to go there. Especially our brain has the need to predict the future and it’s therefore safer to create an image that meets its expectation so we can stay away from any disappointment or deception. But what if that image is based on incorrect or incomplete information?

Could that be the reason so many of us are facing significant challenges in their lives? We want to believe the lies but something has opened our eyes and we can no longer unsee it and we don’t know how to go about our disillusionment. The ‘easiest’ way to process it is to not process it and the tech industry has become our way of trying to ignore our disillusionment—we scroll endlessly, laugh at funny videos, share them with our friends and they laugh and give you a ‘thumbs up’ or better, a ‘heart’. Or we invite a bunch of friends to hang out with and talk about anything, as long as we can forget the things that really bother us. We actually regret that we even started questioning our own beliefs, even if we had good reasons for it and from now on we make an agreement with self that we will never question our own beliefs as the result can just be too painful.

Be Still and Listen

All of this can theoretically work if we try to stay on the surface, but there is a part of us that knows. It knows the truth, it sees and feels the strategies we are trying to use, it fully observes us in our struggles and yet it doesn’t take sides. It doesn’t want to lecture or save us but it’s always there. That IT is who you really are—your higher self. It knows all you need to know in this lifetime. It is quiet but it speaks when you decide to listen, to truly listen. You begin then to deeply realize that you aren’t what you believe as you can clearly hear the true you. The one you’ve always been looking for.

Okay, a little poem to make sure you you feel what I mean:

Angel

Life seems so ungraspable sometimes

and you don’t know how to deal with your own emotions.

You’re thinking and thinking but no solution presents itself.

And then suddenly, from a wonderful universe,

an angel descends, especially for you.

She grasps your hand and understands what you’re going through.

Initially you think it’s a coincidence (but soon you'll know better than that).

This angel doesn’t know good or bad or judges in any way.

It’s an angel of pure love and you have a hard time believing it,

because she’s there for you and she's so beautiful.

When you manage to fully surrender and feel the warm love flow through your heart,

you’ll react in a natural way – you want to keep this feeling and never let her go.

Suddenly you realize that you are 'feeling' and have stopped 'thinking' –

your heart is pounding like crazy now because something essential has just happened…

you've just come to understand that this beautiful angel, is YOU!

What’s your purpose they ask me - all of these spiritual teachers and life coaches. To be honest with you, do I really need to be clear about my purpose? I never really thought about it. I just always wanted to be a good person, to myself and to others. Is that enough?

Funny enough, in all the workshops, retreats and other programs I have been organizing, the only thing I have been focusing on is to inspire people to get to know themselves better. Not through teachings or protocols, but by having them feel themselves. Feel what feels good and what feels off. When we follow that feeling, who cares about purpose? It’s my personal experience that life is meant to be felt and lived in stead of being analyzed and researched. But then again, who am I? Just a sensitive boy who has been feeling the suffering of the world since he was little and doesn’t really know what to do with it. But I do my best.

About two years ago, I was invited to speak during the Unity Vancouver Sunday morning service. After my talk, there was a song, basically dedicated to me, and the song touched me. “Yes, that’s totally me” I thought. What a powerful song to hear being played live after I spoke about ‘the presence in your heart’. You can watch the song here.

Since we’re into the touchy feely stuff anyway, I’ll share a little poem that I wrote with you;

On Purpose

I love, I deeply love life.

The creator has gifted me something,

In 1973, this man learned "to exit his physical body." He "mentally travelled" to Jupiter and described its rings. Six years later, NASA’s Voyager 1 confirmed every detail he reported but the CIA immediately classified it. What he discovered about consciousness is highly interesting to me.

The man’s name is Ingo Swann, an artist from Colorado with no scientific background, but he had one unusual skill: “He could leave his body at will.” Ingo called it “remote viewing”, a term which refers to the use of extrasensory perception to perceive distant persons, places, or events, but most scientists called it impossible—Until they tested him.

Ingo worked with researchers at the Stanford Research Institute (SRI) for many years. They provided him with random geographic coordinates and he managed to describe the locations in real time, from thousands of miles away, with eerie accuracy; mountains, buildings and even underground bunkers. The scientists at SRI then wanted to push the limits: “What if we gave him coordinates… in space?” Ingo felt comfortable with that and agreed.

The Target

Their target was Jupiter. This was 1973 and NASA’s Pioneer 10 had just flown by Jupiter, but much about Jupiter was still unknown. When they started working on their targets, they were highly surprised what Ingo gave them as descriptions.

He reported:

• Rings around Jupiter

• A thin atmosphere made of hydrogen, helium, and crystals

• Gigantic storms and lightning

• Mountains rising from the surface

Initially, all scientists dismissed the rings as fantasy, until 1979…

In 1979, Voyager 1 flew past Jupiter and it found:

• Faint rings exactly matching Ingo’s description

• Chemical composition matching his description

• Massive volcanic activity on (Jupiter’s moon) he had predicted

Suddenly what they thought as “Ingo’s fantasy” became a scientific discovery. NASA stayed silent but the CIA didn’t. They immediately classified Ingo’s Jupiter session and invited him to work on their top-secret programs known as codename: Star Gate and his mission became to use remote viewing for espionage during the Cold War. That was exactly the time that I worked for the Dutch military intelligence team. For the next 20 years, Ingo worked with psychics and military intelligence officers and they were remote viewing:

• Soviet nuclear facilities

• Chinese missile tests

• Hidden underground structures

These activities all took place without leaving the room. Hundreds of millions of dollars were allocated for the program, but as time went one, and to the CIA’s concern, Ingo’s travels weren’t limited to planets. He claimed to access other dimensions, described “non-human intelligence” and he identified civilizations existing alongside us, but invisible to our senses. He explained that consciousness wasn’t bound by the limits of space or time. The mind tunes into the universal consciousness which is part of the universal field. Remote viewing, he believed, was just a side-effect of what we really are: Limitless awareness, temporarily wearing a physical body.

The intelligence service began to realize that if humans would understand the true reach of their consciousness, governments could never control them. The ability to “leave the body” therefore means:

• No prison can hold you

• No secret can hide from you

• No war can be truly hidden

The CIA’s own declassified documents (released in 1995) confirmed:

• Remote viewing produced actionable intelligence

• Ingo’s Jupiter data was on record

• Stargate existed for over two decades

Despite the successes of the program, they decided to publicly shut it down. Some say it was because accuracy rates varied, but others believe it went deeper—far beyond spy games, that Ingo discovered something about reality that could not be revealed to the public.

Before Ingo Swann passed away in 2013, he hinted at some of his findings in his notes. He believed that the physical world is a training ground for us to learn to use consciousness consciously and responsibly which allows us step outside the simulation at will.

For those who still think that of of this is science fiction, it’s good to remember that the CIA funded psychic research for over twenty years, that NASA confirmed his Jupiter data and that physicists still can’t explain consciousness.

My main question is that if the mind can travel to Jupiter, what else can it do and why aren’t we all taught how? Isn’t it about time that we embrace our extraordinary capacities?

In previous articles, I have shared with you that during a challenging time in my life, I decided to interview people that inspired me. I believe that the beauty lies in the journey as the universe introduced me to Dr. Terry Gordon, who was on a very similar journey.

As a world–renowned cardiologist and health activist, who has dealt with life and death on a daily basis, Dr. Terry Gordon understands that life can change in the blink of an eye. However, nothing could have prepared him for the fateful phone call he received in June of 2009 that his 20 year old son Tyler was involved in a near fatal car accident, sustaining a severe spinal cord injury that left him paralyzed.

Dr. Gordon’s journey from the day he left home to be by his son’s bedside and the profound response he received to his heartfelt prayers, resulted in a spiritual awakening and a clearer understanding of life and the truths it has to offer. Dr. Gordon decided to write a memoir about surviving the fiercest of life’s storm to finding the rainbow through the clouds: “No Storm Lasts Forever – Transforming Suffering into Insight”.

In No Storm Lasts Forever, Dr. Gordon explores the opportunities we have access to while dealing with adversities—We can embrace them and accept them as gifts from the Divine. They can provide fertile soil for growth and enlightenment where we begin to see the “bigger picture” of life; and how a so-called tragedy can actually be a blessing in disguise.

When Terry Gordon and I met, there was this instant connection and we discovered quite a few similarities in our lives. I have also been very touched by the way Terry shares his personal story in the book – his vulnerability, his humour and love for life will stay with me for the rest of my life. I will therefore share parts of our conversation with you.

D: “Terry, you have been a cardiologist for over two decades and you know so much about the human heart. How much of your medical knowledge and experience was supporting you during this life changing experience?”

T: “In science we don’t know squat. I’m still healing hearts but just in a different way. I’m trained at the world famous Cleveland Clinic, a top training program in cardiology and we came out of that place thinking we could cure anything. Literally – Angioplasty, heart transplants, defibrillators, all that stuff was brand new and it wasn’t until the tail-end of my career that I realized: “We’re not doing any curing. We’re participating in the physical healing, but true healing doesn’t occur in the physical plane. True healing occurs in the spiritual plane”.

While it gave me a springboard from which to jump, mainstream medicine I think is missing it big time, because most of us physicians are so busy and so busied by the paperwork and the time constraints that we don’t take the time to think about what we are really doing.”

D": “Why is that you think?”

T: “Being overburdened, time constraints, perhaps even being afraid or hesitant to contemplate something beyond what’s right in front of you. Inside each of us there are two selfs: The physical self – that’s mortal, it’s fractured, it’s an ego encapsulated in a skin house that we call a body, but it dies. It can be irreversibly altered by disease, injury and death. The other self that resides within us is the spiritual self – it’s the immortal self. If we can connect more with that spiritual self, that’s when the true healing occurs. It doesn’t occur in the heart catheterization or the open heart procedure. That’s not the healing! Close to the tail end of my career I started sharing that with patients, but only if I got the sense that they could benefit from it.

There was this Harley Davidson biker dude and he came in the hospital with a heart attack and he was so pissed. He had piercings all over his body and he was a very angry dude. The day before my patients would go home I would always sit down and talk with them about behaviour modification – How do we prevent this from happening again, cholesterol, blood pressure, all that stuff and… meditating. So I started to share with him my story about Wayne Dyer. I looked at this guy and he had this anger and the smoke coming out of his nostrils and ears and I decided for myself “this guy is not going to listen to me and so I even won’t waste my time”. So I left his room and I’m walking down the hall and I suddenly realized how judgmental I had just been. I decided to turn around and I walked back to his room and sat on his bed and started talking to him about my spiritual awakening and how Wayne Dyer helped me with that. He looked up at me and he said: “What the hell you’re talking about this Wayne Dyer dude?” I said “I just wanted to share this because he helped me”. Next to him on the bed was this old, beaten up leather knapsack and he opened it up and showed me two books by Wayne Dyer.

This guy taught me a very important lesson. First of all, don’t be judgmental, but more importantly, everybody is hungry for this. Everyone, and especially in today’s world, where there is darkness. Everybody’s searching, even the people that are creating the darkness, I believe are searching.”

Miracles are Natural

I realize it’s is a bit of a longer read this week, but I would like to share one more wonderful story with you as I asked Terry Gordon about whether he believes in magic or not (Terry smiles now):

“My wife had a dream which she shared with me and I think life is magical if you allow it to be. So many of us become so embedded in where we are and what we’re doing, but if you open your mind to the possibilities, to miracles occurring, they’re everywhere! It’s just magically marvelous, they’re everywhere.

There’s a book called “A Course in Miracles” and it says: “Miracles are natural. When they do not occur something has gone terribly wrong”.

I was a scientist – you’ve got to prove something to me first and then I was going to believe it. But one day, something extraordinary happened to me and it was the first true magical thing that ever happened to me.

We were taking a much needed two week vacation. I got home from work at eight o’clock at night and after loading the Suburban we took off for Lake Mohawk. It was on the way down there that my wife Angela was trying to make small talk and she said: “You know honey, we really need a new vacuum cleaner”. The last thing I wanted to hear about was a vacuum cleaner and I kind of told her so, and it wasn’t in a very nice way and so the rest of the trip was very quiet. When we got to the cabin, I went straight to my room.

The next morning, I got up and went down to the lake to unwind and I get down on my knees and began pulling weeds. I was down there for a good couple of hours and Angela left for the grocery store. I knew I was still in the doghouse because usually she would yell down: “I love you sweetie”, but she didn’t that morning.

She was gone for about five minutes when I heard her call my name. Now the strange thing was, her voice came from behind me and behind me was just forest. I even looked in the forest, but I went back to the lake. A couple of minutes later my daughter Laila came running out of the cabin yelling and screaming “come quick, come quick!” So I ran to the top of the hill and she says “mommy is at the front gate, there’s a man dying and they need you”.

I hopped into the other car and made it up to this fellow and he was in a full cardiac arrest. At the same time emergency medical services got there, I grabbed their defibrillator and shocked him about four times. His heart rhythm came back and I went with them in the ambulance to the nearest hospital and we dropped him off.

On the way back it hit me that I had heard Angela call my name. I didn’t tell her what I experienced but I rather asked her what she had experienced. Her first thought was to turn around and go get me, but she knew that would take too long. Her second thought was “Terry, you’re in such a stress right now, you need some time off, let somebody else handle it”. She said that she couldn’t do that either. I asked her what happened next and she said “I decided to call you but I couldn’t remember the phone number and then I just called out your name”. It was four miles down the road, from the Suburban, that I heard Angela call my name. Without any question I could hear her as clearly as you can hear me now.

That same night the telephone rang and it was the wife of the man that I helped resuscitate. She was so thankful and told me she just knew an angel had arrived and she wanted to get me something. I told her: “Ma’am, you don’t understand, being able to help save your husband’s life is the most invigorating thing I can do, I don’t want anything”. But she insisted and she said: “We’re hard working people, we work for Hoover, can we buy you a vacuum cleaner?”

Now, if that doesn’t affect someone, I don’t know what will. It changed my life! It changed me from saying “I believe it when I see it”, to “I’ll see it when I believe it”. And that magic is there all the time. It’s just a matter of recognizing it.”

And lastly I ask him: “Why do we always perceive suffering as a purely negative experience and how could we change that?”

T: “Well, by accepting the non-duality of life. Lao Tzu talks about that in the second verse of the Tao Te Ching – Where the calm sunny day is perfectly balanced by the storm and perfect health is perfectly balanced by disease and injury. If you can accept both of those as being one and the same, just different ends of the journey, then it makes perfect sense that you’re going to suffer because you can’t know what freedom and peace is without suffering. So you have to experience both. But the important thing is to let go of the attachment to what you perceive is good as much as you let go of the attachment to what you perceive as not so good. And that’s when you get the true freedom – when you experience the profound sorrow, like what we’re experiencing with Tyler and yet you also see the beautiful side of that. This is what I meant by “accepting the non-duality of life”.

When I was an executive in the corporate financial world, I was often confronted with so called ‘micro-management’. It’s a term being used when we lose an overall perspective because we’re too busy focusing on the details. One could argue whether we are fearful of losing control and focus on what we can control or that we just don’t have the capacity to see a bigger picture. Sharing this personal experience leads me to translating it to how we perceive life on a daily basis.

Unless we go through an intense life altering experience (see short video below), humans tend to change and adapt gradually. In general, the human body doesn’t like change in the first place. It’s what I witness all the time when I work with people diagnosed with trauma—Sometimes one intense experience lets the body know that the world isn’t a safe place and the intelligence in the body will make sure that it does anything, even though the environment is promoting safety, to protect itself from further danger.

On the other hand, when we are intentionally creating new experiences that fuel the body, mind and spirit with hope, excitement and purpose, over and over again, the body will crave more of those experiences. Successful serial entrepreneurs fall into this category for example.

Intentional Choices

It’s my personal experience that intentional choice making is the driver behind what our future looks like. We are now at the key of what this week’s article is about; How intentional are we as humans these days?

The more you take the time to study history (the subject I disliked the most at school) the more you have the opportunity to see a bigger picture—IF you are willing to be open enough to learn about the events and ideas you don’t like and choose to question them, but I will get back to that point later. I can safely say that at least fifty percent of what I learned in those history classes at school was heavily redacted over the decennia to paint another picture of what had truly happened—From the story of the pyramids in Egypt, the Great Depression, the Spanish flu, to the explanation of how the world wars started. Once you become aware of these alterations, the question should come up with you: “Who decided these changes and for what reason?”

Fast forward to today’s world, things have only become more extreme and occur at much higher speeds because of the internet and social media. Some of the most recent events like the 2008 financial crash, how Bitcoin was being portrayed, the real cause of climate change and the initiation of the global Covid stressor and their solutions to name a few. What would the author and critical thinker George Orwell who wrote the popular 1984 say if he sees today’s world? “I told you so?..” Or how is it possible that Aldous Huxley, who wrote the fascinating book ‘A Brave New World’ which was published in 1932 (and a Netflix tv series that premiered in 2020), had such a vision that closely reflects how we live today? Did Huxley see the bigger picture in the early 1900’s?

Since we currently live in a ‘cancel culture’, exactly what Orwell wrote about, we are no longer encouraged to think for ourselves and we literally are being deplatformed when we question narratives that are being pushed through the corporate media and the algorhythms online. That’s why this platform Substack became so popular in 2020 when thousands of world renowned and celebrated medical doctors and epidemiologists started questioning the response by governments worldwide. I personally had two of my social media accounts taken down, just because I like to question popular narratives. History shows us this is not new though as the book burning by the Nazis in the 1930’s and the burning of women at the stake who were being found guilty of ‘witchcraft’ practiced in Babylonia and ancient Israel and later adopted in Europe and North America were part of controlling a narrative. The question arises again: “Who decided back then and decides right now and for what reason?”

The Answer

Ultimately, we have a choice to make. Do we accept and comply with all the narratives that come our way, in other words, do we allow ourselves to become trained micro-managers, or do we intentionally yearn to see a bigger picture which results in understanding how life really works? Our brains are not designed for accuracy. The main function of the brain is to keep us safe, and it’s really good at doing that. The main reason we currently see so many people going down a more spiritual path is that we begin to realize there’s more to life than having knee-jerk responses and experiencing life by the hormones of stress. The human heart becomes the truthful leader in this process as it has the capacity to see the big picture. The heart leads us to places and insights that are aligned with the harmony of nature and our Universe. We literally are in the middle of a battle between darkness and light and it’s our choice to feed the one we choose to live in. Just imagine a pitch black room at night—No light, nothing. Then strike a match and watch what happens. You are the match, it’s just a matter of striking yourself against the universal love that is accessible through the intelligence of the heart.

Our day-to-day experiences are mainly shaped by where we currently are on our journey in life, as our perception determines our reality. It’s good to remind yourself of this as otherwise you might easily become overwhelmed, discouraged or even depressed by all that you feel every day.

There’s something I like to share with you and it’s quite personal. Since I was a young boy I have been fascinated with how we all experience life in our own unique ways—Since I was five or six years old, I had a deep knowing that we all experience life based on the programming we went through. I had been quite sick, off and on, for two years and therefore I believed I was weak and flawed. During this time I regularly had high fevers which gave me access to ‘a different world’. It was beautiful to be there and observe and learn. At the same time, my mum always surrounded me with her love and faith. It was a powerful combo and these years taught me that it’s not the circumstances that determine the experience of the essence life. Simultaneously, my brother, who was a very sweet and sensitive soul, went a different way and ultimately we lost him, but more importantly he found what was needed for him to be free. All in all, a powerful program was installed during my early years.

Today

Almost six decades later, I see things so clearly that it’s challenging sometimes to relate to the world that is being shaped and the choices people make. It’s often easier for me to stay on my beautiful property and do the things I love to do—But in some way in isolation. I see others show up in ‘resistance-mode’ and show the world what’s all wrong. But my deep understanding of the fact we are all experiencing the life for 99% based on our programs, I so clearly understand that collectively, we are really trying hard to do our best. That’s when my compassion for everyone kicks in, no one excluded. It’s therefore time for me to ‘get out there’ more again (but that’s a topic for a next story).

Stay Pure

The best antidote to whatever challenge we experience in our lives is to make the choice to stay pure. But that requires some serious deprogramming. It doesn’t mean that you should resist the current state of the world, but you can choose to remove yourself from the influences of the programmed world. To live in it but not being lived by it. Be mindful of where you allow your energy to go to; in conversations with family, neighbours or friends. Be curious about life and be aware that most external influences are designed to have you stay in the program, especially in today’s age. If you can find the courage to have curiosity truly take the lead, you will be amazed by your own observations.

You can choose your own path filled with joy, love, gratitude and beautiful experiences. This will make you feel more free and this sense of freedom offers you pure wisdom. Wisdom is seeing the essence through the influence of the programs. In other words: “Tuning into the signal where the noise begins to disappear.”
I am not talking about ‘meaningful’ here as this easily divides, judges and limits ourself. Everything has meaning in life. Everything! That is the purpose of life. It’s not the duration that counts but the very presence in each moment.

When we choose to bring in curiosity, gratitude, joy and love in each moment, our experience of life changes. We are then also signalling all of the fifty trillion cells in our body and they all follow and express themselves in this frequency of gratitude, joy and love. This process is called ‘epigenetics’. You have now allowed yourself to align with the essence of life, which is not random but highly structured. This is the moment when you become intentional versus feeling like a victim. The challenge of deprogramming yourself might be real, but it’s the only option to become a heart-based creator filled with gratitude and love and you will give others permission to do the same.

Insight

After I had an interview for the second time with don Miguel Ruiz I had a deep realization that changed the course of my life forever. After reading his latest best selling book, preparing the interview, spending time with Miguel and finally doing the transcript I pondered the question: “Why do I love his wisdom so much and how does he access all of these universal truths after all?”

While sitting with this question for some time, I realized that he is part of the same intelligent field that I am part of. That was of course a no-brainer but I strongly felt this in my core. Then I spoke out loud: “When don Miguel ‘downloads’ the information for his next book it comes from the same field that I am part of, then why don’t I download my own information filtered and interpreted by Dirk. It’ll be more pure and more meant for me in stead of coming from don Miguel.”

Since that day, I stopped doing my interviews and I have not participated in workshops or retreats. Not because I don’t like those who host these events but because I’ve come to realize that my own connection with Source is way more powerful and impactful.

A Start

You might now think that this approach is for advanced students of life only, but nothing could be further from the truth. The easiest way to break an old pattern is when something feels good in the moment, no matter what that is, just say ‘yes’ to that moment without thinking. Do it! When you embrace that moment and that choice, you offer yourself an experience that teaches you so much. Our bodies are designed for experiences, otherwise we would only show up in spirit in this lifetime. It’s how we learn and it can therefore never be a mistake. The only mistake that you can make, is to listen to and believe the programs we live by are our truth.

Personally, I also do believe that it is really helpful to honour the choice you’ve made—honour following your truth in that moment. You can always make new choices the next time. This is how we learn.

And the last element I can add here is to stay away from judgement, as it doesn’t serve any purpose (in case you find one, let me know), except that it disconnects you from the Creator inside you. Honour the Creator inside. You are being made in the image of God.

Simple yet Powerful

Maybe the above sounds oversimplified to you. It’s because you’re a thinker. Life is simple, but the seeker of life is often complex. Go out and practice unless you don’t want change. That’s fine too, but always know that the wisdom others offer you is not necessarily the wisdom that is right for you. Connect with your heart. You are unique!

Do you recognize these moments, when you wake up, move slow, have a peaceful breakfast and check on your phone what others have to say about the state of the world (and especially their world)?

This morning, after waking up and having a shower, I made myself breakfast, which always includes a delicious cappuccino. Then I walked outside and sat on a bench in the early morning sun.

While enjoying the slow start of the day, enveloped by all elements of nature, I began to feel an intimate connection between the morning sun rays and the cells in my shirtless skin. I was surprised that I strongly sensed the loving connection between them - the sun literally providing all information, on this latitude and this time of the day, while the cellular structure in my body intelligently absorbing and translating all this goodness being freely shared without any condition. The moment I tuned into that wonderful exchange, I could literally feel the love flow, back and forth.

Because I decided not to bring my phone outside, I realized how present I was and how deeply moving this love connection while having breakfast really was.

THERE WON'T BE A HOTSPOT THIS SUNDAY

The alternative, unfortunately very much a reality for the majority of people these days, would have been to bring my phone outside and while having breakfast, browse through various apps to get up to speed with what has been unfolding while I was asleep. The algorithms would then have provided me exactly what I wanted to hear this morning, even more so strengthening the beliefs I have developed over the years, often based on these very smart algorithms in the first place. I could have then gone out that day and share, and even defend, my convictions with my friends and neighbours.

Can you feel the silly contrast between the two choices and the impact it has on us and those around us? I would have missed the two daisies staring at me from a distance, not staring in my face but tuning into my heart. I would have missed the birds sharing their amazing morning songs with me. I would have definitely missed the love connection that I felt with the sun. It felt like a strong togetherness, a oneness as they say. In Sanskrit there’s a word for this: Samadhi - where you see and experience the oneness with your senses.

No matter our story and no matter what is currently unfolding in our lives (and it’s a lot for all of us) we all have the ability to choose good moments for ourselves. You and your story are not ‘more special’ than your fellow brothers and sisters. That’s a construct of our ego. We’re all so deeply connected that we consciously or unconsciously sense the state of humanity. The more we intentionally choose patience, love and connection over division, the faster we will evolve to a next level of consciousness.

Who would ever start thinking about whether you can see the wind or not? What does it really matter? Well, I do and it matters to me as we only seem to experience the effect wind has on people and things but we rarely think about the cause of the existence of wind—Only meteorologists do.

We look at the flags going sideways and we say: “There’s a strong wind right now.” Or we’re out on the ocean and the height of the waves tell us how much wind there is. We know that when the wind becomes calmer, the waves become smaller. So we’re not directly really affected by the wind but more by the waves caused by the wind that make our ship roll more.

The flags in the image are placed in a salt lake in Bolivia. You can tell from looking at the image that there’s a strong wind over the salt lake. But if you would be standing there, you not only see the flags go sideways, you will feel the pressure of the wind on your body and most likely the wind also causes tiny salt particles to hit your face. And if you would ride your bike there or drive a car across the flats, I don’t have to tell you that you’re being affected by the wind.

Most of us have not been directly negatively affected by the wind, but we have experienced the (sometimes disastrous) effects the wind can cause. We tend to pay mainly attention to the effects. It’s normal. That’s what we do.

Our entire universe, and therefore our beautiful Planet Earth, is being shaped by energy. The earth is literally surrounded and deeply affected by a vortex of electromagnetic energy. It’s always there and all living systems, including you and I, extract and return highly intelligent information from and to that field. It’s the most fascinating and sacred feedback loop that we call life.

In our modern day lives we seem to only pay attention to the effects of the metaphorical wind and we therefore feel often powerless, like victims and we don’t seem to have control over what happens to us. Our original Newtonian science model we still apply today is based on that: Cause and Effect — Action - Reaction. The model is woven into our society, into personal relationships, into religion and into politics. We live by these principles without even thinking about it and in today’s world we can clearly see that it’s no longer working. We’re forming in and out groups and start blaming one another because we’re programmed to live by this Newtonian model.

But what about the wind?? Since we know that it’s the wind that causes many of the effects. The most ancient wisdom and the latest modern science explain not just the the effects the wind has on us—moreover, we are the wind! The changes in the electromagnetic field around the planet are partially caused by humanity living on this planet. we’re part of the feedback loop. From all research done by the most brilliant scientists we now know that our emotional state together with our genuine intentions causes the ‘wind’ to change. And when the winds change, the effects change! We are moving from ‘cause and effect’ to ‘causing an effect’ which is part of the quantum model.

What a time to be alive!! You know now that you ARE the wind and that it’s up to you and me to change direction. We are in the middle of a significant change and those who understand the principles and deeply focused on shifting their state, every single day because before too long, we all will experience the effects more clearly. It’s also why I designed these tapes.

We don’t need to be meteorologists and observe the wind directions because we are the ones the change the direction. Let’s use our hearts to choose wisely.
