Hi beautiful friends,

I have (another) crazy story to tell you today! What can I say, I’m on fire.

And being a storyteller is one of my favorite things…

So much so that I decided I would try my hand at writing a fiction book for once.

As many of you know from previous posts, I’ve also been on a mission to be more in the heart than the mind.

And as much as I love reading books, at the beginning of 2025 things began to change.

I couldn’t listen to podcasts AT ALL anymore, and I didn’t want any more advice - not from a book, a course, or any other form (unless maybe it was a coaching call and it was ultra specific to my life and my focus).

I just wanted to be present with myself, my own guidance, and nature.

So, I was doing my light practice one morning when my angels suggested that I should consider writing a fiction book.

With fiction books, they showed me, we learn and grow through witnessing another’s experience and emotions - we learn through the heart more than the mind.

Through storytelling rather than being told to do more things we don’t even have the capacity to follow through on or fully consume anyway.

It sounded like a really exciting idea, even though I had barely read any fiction in a long time!

So I started to think about what I would want to write about…

I knew from experience that it was always difficult to find books in bookstores about creative entrepreneurs and psychic women, not to mention them being the same thing.

I have read a lot of fiction books about artists & strong women, but I never quite saw myself reflected in them.

I could empathize with the self-doubt that they faced (and we all face), and enjoyed reading about their process in creating their work, but it’s a little bit different when you’re someone like me who also channels spirit guides and gets divine downloads in my dreams (and waking life) about what to create or work on next.

Not something that gets mentioned much - but if you do have any book recommendations, DO let me know!

I want to see more books that mirror my unique lifestyle - about someone who creates what they love for a living & the challenges and magical happenings that occur as they follow their ever-deepening intuitive path.

Like the modern version of Rey from Star Wars if she ran a business and needed to pay taxes. Seriously, is that too much to ask?

So, I started plotting out my fiction book. Actually, I plotted out FIVE of them, because I learned that series do the best! Plus, I love the idea of staying with a character over many years and seeing them develop, change, and grow.

And without giving the whole plot away or letting you in on what kinds of things my main character will create, I do have to tell you that something amazing began happening.

The more I started thinking about the book(s), plotting them out, and deciding on the locations and themes, the more what I was plotting began coming true… IN MY LIFE.

Like I said, I really don’t want to give the whole plot away because I still want to write these books (eventually), but it was pretty eerie how…

• For the first book in the series, I had planned for my character to go on a road trip to the desert, where she’d have a spiritual experience with a healer that inspires her to embark on a creative project.
  
  Not long later, I got the opportunity to go housesit in Santa Fe, New Mexico, the desert, where I also worked with a healer and had a huge healing breakthrough for myself that will most likely change the course of my life and my creative projects going forward (more on that later). A place I had never been before and never planned on going until it just serendipitously came up.
  
  

• In a later book in the series, I planned for my character to spend time in Switzerland. Even deciding this was totally random as I was looking for a place that was really expensive to immigrate to - but wasn’t Australia, because that would have been too close to my actual life experience. :D
  
  I also wanted a place that would work well for my character’s interest in studying dreams in that book… and Zurich is where Carl Jung pioneered a new view of dream studies. Other than that, I had no connection whatsoever (or so I thought)!
  
  Shortly after I made the decision to choose this location, one of my past clients reached out.
  
  She said, “I learned that you’re house-sitting. We’re traveling this summer, and we’re looking for a house sitter to stay with our cat. We live by the lake in Zurich in a really, really cool area.”
  
  I COULD NOT BELIEVE IT. Sadly, I couldn't go because it didn’t work with my schedule (I was going to Australia instead!), but I sure was tempted to see what else would’ve happened if I had.
  

There have been a few other eerie instances, too, but I definitely don’t want to ruin the story for you because I do intend on actually writing these books at some point and I hope you will get to read them. ✨

So, I’m not going to say this is something that happens for all fiction authors (because how would I know! Up until now, I’ve mostly coached nonfiction authors!).

I was opening up my notes for the books almost every day, thinking about them, brainstorming, and tweaking things! 📝

But I wasn’t wishing I could go to the places in the book. It was an experience I simply wanted my character to have, to support the emotional & creative journey she was going to go on in the book! I didn’t intentionally try to manifest anything.

Still, my attention was ultra focused on it.

I was imagining it in my mind’s eye. Picturing myself there as the character. Thinking a lot about what would happen in these places. What would go wrong, what would go right, and how things would shift as a result of that.

My attention was so focused upon these visions that I began manifesting it!

I suppose you could argue that maybe the universe knew I was going to get these invitations, and that’s why the idea dropped in for me in the first place, but I really don’t think that is what happened???

Now, I’m also the kind of person who has a million projects going on at the same time, so I haven’t gotten too far with the first book (yet)…

But it is certainly making me think differently about what I am going to write next.

If words are like spells, then maybe I should be writing the ones that quantum leap me into my best reality.

If not in this book - because we’re obviously still going to need some drama & high stakes to occur to keep things interesting - then…

In my journal when I’m writing about my life & the story I am telling about it.

In the text messages I write to friends & loved ones.

In what I say when people straight up ASK me to talk about my problems (such a test!).

When I tell myself the story of my own life and envision what comes next for me.

So, if you’re obsessing about money problems, relationship issues, being confused about your career, stop that.

If people ask you how you’re doing, and you often use that as an opportunity to vent and complain, that’s enough.

I’m not saying to lie to yourself or others, but perhaps you can be more careful about how you frame it so you are speaking what you want into existence.

For instance, instead of, “My business is a complete disaster right now!” it could be “I’m gaining more and more clarity every day.” Talk about what you do want to happen, not what is happening (if it’s not what you want) or what is wrong.

Or maybe you could sit down and write a long, detailed story about the life you want and spend time imagining it every day…

There are so many places you could go with this!

It might feel weird at first, but see what happens when you start thinking, writing, and talking about the story you DO want to see manifest in your life… and doing so obsessively.

I’m soul happy to say that I’ve finally started working on my oracle deck again, which means my YouTube channel is back now as well.

I’ve been slowly documenting the whole process of creating my own deck, from brainstorming through to (eventually) completing the Angelic Aura Oracle Deck. A deck that is entirely based on energy, and gradually learning to tune in and hear your own answers.

For many years, I quietly trained as an Angel Messenger, but it never quite felt right to offer full-on readings the typical way…

So, I’ve mostly let the angels speak through me when I write and create.

Until now! I am going to start sharing more about the ways I work with angels, including via chakra healing in the future, and in creative modes such as the video that just came out today. 👇🏼

Fun fact: I do not love the color red, and I am probably one of the least rooted people in the world at the moment as someone who is currently traveling full-time. However, I am painting the Root Chakra card - and eventually all of the main 7 chakras - in this video.

I’ve decided to add 12 chakras to the deck alongside all of the major archangels (and a smattering of other card ideas, e.g., the four elements) because chakra healing is one of the biggest ways I work with my angels.

They can show me what is out of balance, explain why, and even bring white light healing energy through to make it easier for my energy centers to heal and get in balance.

I love to work with 12 chakras - rather than just the main 7 - because the Earth Star Chakra (below the root) and the upper 4 chakras (above the crown) connect our bodies with our souls, our Higher Self, our galactic families, the archangel realms, the universe & even Source itself.

More on that in my next video! But for now…

Hello, my love!

This week, my publishing company will publish our 3rd book, and it’s the 4th time I will become a published author myself.

I started Divine Flow Publishing Co. in January 2024, but I’m very proud of the books we’ve produced in the last 2+ years. In case you hadn’t realized, books take a long time to write and publish!

I know what it feels like to be misunderstood for being a sensitive, old soul, so the books we create are for people like me who have special “gifts” (but are really just evolved!) - and who often feel alone or like people don’t get you.

I’ve been lucky to surround myself with a wonderful community of people who get me! But it hasn’t always been that way…

These books have given me and many others a voice (because two of the books are multi-author books), which has been as healing for us to release as it has been for others to read.

It feels good to say what you need to say about the things that are most important to you. It feels even better to have others receive those words and send ripple effects into their lives, and the lives of the people they touch as well.

It also feels good to have returned to my art & design roots for this new book, She Who Flows: Guidance for Surrendering to the Divine Feminine and Witnessing the Miracles of Self-Love 👇🏼

With every book we’ve published, I’ve pushed myself a little bit more.

With the first book we’ve published, my Messages from the Higher Self, I just wanted to prove that I could write, design, and publish a book in the first place.

(I had authored a traditionally published book before that, but everything was handled by a publishing company, so this was the first book I created on my own.)

With our second book, Soul Rising: Guidance for Navigating Your Spiritual Awakening, I wanted to experiment with having multiple authors. It makes it faster to write a whole book, but there are lots of extra details to manage. We had 33 authors in total! I’m so happy with how it turned out, and it was even more special to share the experience with so many other authors.

But the first two books had simple black-and-white interiors…

For this third book, we went bold! I used to be a magazine designer in my 20’s, and I felt like I really went back to my roots with our first full-color, illustrated interior book. Even though it is “full-color”, though, I pretty much made everything different shades of pink. 💁🏻‍♀️

This is how I see most of our books looking going forward (but maybe not quite as much pink). The books do end up being more expensive to print with these extra touches, but it feels very me!

However, I’m sure I’ll keep pushing the envelope in some way…

For example, we’ll be publishing a very special book for another author in the near future, and I know I’ll want to try some new things with hers, to make it stand out, too! 💫

And I already have ideas for two more multi-author books…

I was going to focus more on writing my own fiction books, but I really feel like we finally got the multi-author book process down, and it would be a shame to stop now when we’re basically pros. So, why not do both?

Plus, I think it’s really powerful to read many different people’s takes on the same subject, especially when those people are from all over the world. 🌎

It helps show how important the book's subject is and how different people relate to it, see it, and work with it in their own lives.

Hello friends, happy new week!

I’m very excited to tell you more about the book I’m currently illustrating.

If you’re joining me from my newsletter, I recently shared that I once dreamt of becoming an illustrator, but I ended up going down more of a graphic design path instead. Then astrology. Then writing books and starting a spiritual publishing company.

And now, I guess I technically do all of those things in some way, shape or form.

As a side note: A really big realization I’ve been having lately is that I shouldn’t cut off parts of myself in order to move on to explore something new - instead, I can simply expand who I am and let all of it be part of me in some way, even if the thing I am expanding beyond is not the main focus anymore.

So, that’s why you’ll be finding pretty much everything I do coalescing together here on this blog/newsletter/Substack thingy. One week, I might talk about energy work for creatives, one week it might be a creative project I’m working on, and next week it will be creativity horoscopes (a blend of creativity + energy work!).

Overall, I plan to give you a behind-the-scenes look at a creative entrepreneur’s life that is centered on art + intuition - however I may feel drawn to bring that across.

Just thought you should know what my intentions are for this space!

Okay, so let’s talk more about this book I’m illustrating… and also writing (part of) and publishing.

The book is called She Who Flows: Guidance for Surrendering to the Divine Feminine and Witnessing the Miracles of Self-Love (it’s open for ebook pre-orders now!).

This is an anthology written by 28 women from around the world who are sharing their stories and guidance for how they’ve been learning to slow down, tune in, and trust the path laid out before them… instead of hustling, controlling, and forcing things to work out according to their ego minds.

It’s also a book about self-love and listening to your body & intuition to let it tell you what is right for you and what you need - instead of falling prey to whatever the world demands of you, or what your mind scares you into thinking you need to do.

A beautiful designer, Jennifer Birge, designed the cover. I wrote the introduction, gathered 27 other women to write the rest of the chapters, designed the book's interior… and, well, now I am illustrating it as well.

It’s been so exciting… and eye-opening… because it’s reminding me what I really love to do. Make art.

Even though I haven’t illustrated anything in probably 10 years, I’m the kind of person who comes up with big ideas and then trusts that I’ll figure them out later. This whole illustration project is one of those situations for sure.

Somehow, I gave myself just barely enough time to complete this. I only have 3 weeks to create all 28 illustrations - one for each chapter - so, I will admit I am keeping them pretty simple on purpose. (Like, one-color line drawing kind of simple.)

I will also admit that, at first, the idea of doing this was just as terrifying as it has been exciting.

But I’ve been having fun with it!

Here’s what my process is looking like:

It took me a whole day just to decide which brush I wanted to use in Procreate, which meant redrawing the same image 3-4 times.

I also had to figure out how to make the collage’s file size big enough, so that my illustration would be high-quality enough for the book. Messed that up a few times in a row as well!

One whole day = only one usable illustration. On the second day, I was able to make my 2nd illustration within a few hours. By the third day, I was making five in one day!

Do I feel like they are absolutely amazing and worthy of being published in a book? I don’t know.

But can I tell you something? I am having a blast, and I’m so, so proud of myself.

I’m proud of myself for challenging myself. I’m proud of myself for picking up a(n electronic) pencil regardless of how many years it has been since I last bought the supplies I needed to make more art, but haven’t.

Does anybody else buy tons of art supplies you never use? Like, you go to the art supply store, fill your basket, go home, put it in some kind of organizer, and then it just kind of stays there… forever.

Yeah, I’ve been doing that a lot… for a long time now. Too long.

The beautiful thing about illustrating a book that is based on trusting yourself, loving yourself, and having grace for the journey life is taking you on is that I’m making peace with however this project goes.

I’m letting my inner child run free. I’m having fun with how it feels to be creating again.

I’m allowing myself to wake up in the morning, craving the feeling of dragging my pencil across a screen.

It’s a little bit scary that this book is going to belong to not just me, but 27 other authors. And that each of those 27 authors will be sharing this book with their friends, family, and communities. Which means people will actually see these illustrations. And they will live in this book FOREVER.

And do I even know what I’m doing???

But the thing is… yes. By the time I’m done with this project, I will know what I am doing. I will become a stronger artist by making art. I’ve already seen that in my first few days of committing to this project alone.

The other thing I have failed to mention is that I got my first gig as a self-employed creative entrepreneur in 2012 because I used to create illustrations and share them on my blog.

At 22 years old, I was working in a t-shirt screen printing shop, and whenever I had downtime, I would work on my own thing.

One random day, someone came across my very humble blog online. Saw my illustrations, and saw that I had made my own magazine in university (an art magazine called The Flood - clearly, I like water), and hired me to be the magazine designer for the Female Entrepreneur Association’s new magazine, This Girl Means Business.

I was able to quit my very last day job and do that full-time for 2 years. It also opened the door for me to work with female entrepreneurs from around the world who saw my work in the magazine and hired me, and thus, my design career was born. All because I was brave enough to share my work.

This week, I will be turning 36, and I can confidently say that it’s never too late and you can never be away from your art too long to be able to come back to it again.

My real point is: I think it’s really important to show up and share what you’re working on, even if you don’t think it’s that great. Share your process so you can honor your process.

It doesn’t matter what the outcome ends up being, because either way, it’s amazing practice… both to create & to share without worrying about what anyone will think (especially yourself).

She Who Flows will officially be on sale on March 24, 2026! I can’t wait for you to read it - I just know that the words inside will touch your heart and soul as they have mine.
