From the time I was a little boy to this very moment, nearly 50 years later, Dolly has been a constant presence in my life—a voice, a smile, a storyteller, and a source of inspiration, goodness, generosity, and wonder.

I loved Dolly with all of my heart and soul.

Her music has been woven into the soundtrack of my life. “Coat of Many Colors” can still bring tears to my eyes almost instantly. There is something about that song—the humility, the love, the dignity, the reminder that the things money cannot buy are often the things that matter most. And “I Will Always Love You” reaches someplace deep inside me that few songs ever have.

Then there are the songs that have simply been part of growing up: “Islands in the Stream,” “9 to 5,” “Jolene,” and so many others. They have followed me through childhood, adolescence, adulthood, heartbreak, happiness, difficult days, and beautiful ones. Dolly wasn’t merely singing songs. Somehow, she was putting pieces of life into words and melodies that all of us could recognize.

But Dolly Parton was never just a singer.

She became something much bigger.

She became an American legend—not because she was famous, but because she understood what fame was supposed to be used for. She never seemed to forget where she came from. She never stopped reaching back to help someone else climb a little higher. Her kindness, philanthropy, literacy work, generosity, humor, resilience, and genuine love for people have made her an extraordinary human being.

I love that she was strong enough to oppose people like Donald Trump. She declined his offer for a presidential award, not once, but twice. She was never hateful about him or about politics either. But she made known to the world, in her own special way that even though she was deeply Christian, she loved and appreciated the LGBTQIA+ Community, she loved everyone equally. 🌈

She had the most memorable laugh. It was squeaky, adorable, and infectious. She was a fashionista. She was a great actor. She was so many wonderful people living inside of one little body. Blonde hair, big boobs, a beautiful face, and a heart of gold. A perpetual smile, coupled with picture-perfect dimples. Dripping in diamonds, jewels, and rhinestones, clad in skin-tight dresses, gowns, and ensembles worthy of royalty. She was as close to perfect as a person can ever be.

There are plenty of famous people in this world.

There are far fewer who make the world feel a little kinder simply by being in it.

Dolly did that.

She reminded us that you can be wildly successful without losing your humility. You can be enormously wealthy without forgetting people who have less. You can be glamorous and still be genuine. You can laugh at yourself, stand tall in your own skin, and still make room for everyone else.

To me, Dolly Parton has always represented something beautiful about America—the America that believes in compassion, hard work, second chances, imagination, and helping your neighbor.

She is the Queen of Kindness.

I know her songs will continue to find their way into the lives of generations who haven’t even been born yet.

That is the beautiful thing about a true legend.

They don’t really leave us.

They become part of us.

Dolly, thank you for the songs. Thank you for the laughter. Thank you for the stories. Thank you for showing generations of people what kindness can look like. Thank you for being unapologetically Dolly.

And thank you for being part of my life for nearly five decades.

I will always love you. WE will always love you.

And I will always be grateful that I got to live in a world with Dolly Parton in it. 🦋

There are moments in life that leave you shattered, and this is one of them.

I am truly devastated. I don’t have the words right now. I can’t stop sobbing.

But I needed to say it out loud. I just needed someone else to know that the world lost something or someone truly beautiful, amazing, and good today.

Do remember the Disney cartoon Peter Pan? If so, do you remember the wonderful dog “Nanna”? She thought that she was the nanny, she was always fussing over the kids, taking care of them. She wore an old fashioned chamber maids cap on her head. Remember?

Jackie was the living embodiment of Nanna. Sometimes I would call her that.

But instead of taking care of Wendy, Peter Pan, and the boys, Jackie took care of me.

After every surgery, hospital stay, and medical procedure, she would have wore a set of scrubs and a nurses cap if she could have. 29 surgeries, amputations, recovering, healing, and repeating it over and over again, she was there for me.

Through addiction, imprisonment, losses, tragedies, and victories, “my pretty girl” was there for me.

Today, I had to say goodbye to Jackie—my “Pretty Girl.”

She wasn’t just my dog. She was the child I never had, my best friend, my constant companion, and the one source of unconditional love I could always count on. She was warmth when life felt cold, comfort when everything else hurt, and the one soul who never asked anything of me except to love her back.

She was everything to me.

She was the one good thing I had left in my life.

The house is unbearably quiet now. Every room feels empty without the sound of her paws on the floor or her gentle presence nearby. I keep expecting to see her looking up at me with those beautiful eyes, waiting for a scratch behind the ears or simply wanting to be close.

Jackie, my Pretty Girl, you were never just a pet. You were family. You were my loyal friend, my safe place, and a cherished part of my heart.

Though your bed is empty now, the love you left behind will remain with me forever.

Your tired legs can finally rest. No more hurt. No more pain. No more limitations brought on by age. You are free now—to run through endless fields, to swim without growing tired, and to play with the joy you carried when you were young.

I hope you’re chasing butterflies, splashing through crystal-clear streams, and feeling the warmth of the sun on your back. I hope you know just how deeply you were loved.

Thank you for every tail wag, every cuddle, every kiss, every moment of comfort, and every year you gave me. You carried me through some of the darkest chapters of my life without ever knowing it.

A part of my heart went with you today.

My Mom's dementia and Alzheimer's is at it's pinnacle today. She asks me every 120 seconds where Jackie is at, and if she is okay. I keep telling her that Jackie passed away this morning. I keep telling her that she has gone away. My Mom's mind can't grasp or accept the loss today. The cruelty of her disease is immeasurable. The loss, the sadness, the loneliness, and the emptiness that I feel at this very moment is unprecedented.

I have to clutch and savor every good memory of Jackie and of my Mom today. It's my only source of strength today.

One day, when my own journey is over, I know we’ll meet again in that beautiful field. And when we do, I’ll call your name, and you’ll come running toward me just as you always did.

Until then, you will always be loved, always be missed, and always hold a place in my heart.

Sleep peacefully, my Pretty Girl.

Idaho has been intense lately. We’re dealing with multiple forest and range fires — smoke rolling through the valleys, ash settling on cars, and the sky turning that strange orange haze. On top of that, the extreme heat has been brutal. It’s the kind of heat that doesn’t just feel uncomfortable — it’s dangerous.

So I want to remind you of a few things, because I care about you staying safe:

🔥 Extreme Heat Safety Tips

• Hydrate constantly — not just water, but electrolytes if you’re outside for long periods.

• Limit outdoor exposure during peak heat hours (usually 11 AM–6 PM).

• Check on vulnerable neighbors — elderly folks, people living alone, and anyone without AC.

• Never leave pets or people in vehicles — not even for a minute.

If you see an animal or person locked in a hot vehicle:

Call 911 immediately.

If the situation is critical and help isn’t arriving fast enough, break the window. Save the life. Heat kills fast.

The Truth of What’s Ahead

I’m not going to dress this up. 🙏🏼

My body has been through hell for years, and in a week and a half, I’m facing another amputation. A revision. Another cut. Another loss. My arm will be taken just below the elbow.

This will be surgery number 28 in 10 years.

This is the reality I wake up with, carry, and try to survive.

Creating is the one thing that hasn’t been taken from me. 😇

It’s the thing that keeps me connected to the world when everything else feels like it’s slipping.

Caring for My Mom

I also take care of my mom every day. She’s 71. Two years ago she was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s/Dementia. It’s very aggressive now.

She is the best mom in the whole world. 🏆

It’s torture watching her slip away into a world I’m no longer part of. She has always been there for me. I will always be there for her.

I don’t get paid for doing it — but I don’t care about that. I care about her. My number one goal is to make sure she is never scared, alone, or sad.

Sorry…back to what I was talking about.

That’s how I’ve always wanted this space to feel: human, generous, real.

But today, I want to share something personal — not for sympathy, not for drama, but because honesty matters. And because the people who read my work deserve to know the truth behind the voice and the images they connect with.

Living and creating as a disabled amputee

I’m a disabled amputee. That’s part of my life, part of my reality, and part of the body I move through the world with. It shapes how I create, how I adapt, and how I keep going.

In about a week and a half, I’ll be undergoing another amputation surgery — a revision to correct ongoing problems with my arm. This time, it will be amputated just below the elbow.

(This will be surgery number 28 in the last 10 years. Due to massive injuries sustained in a car accident that was not my fault.)

It’s a strange thing, preparing for surgery like this. There’s fear, yes. There’s grief. There’s the quiet, private moments where you sit with the weight of it. But there’s also clarity. There’s purpose. There’s the stubborn, unkillable part of me that refuses to stop creating, refuses to stop showing up, refuses to stop giving something meaningful to the world.

Digital art has been my way of staying connected — to myself, to others, to something bigger than pain or circumstance. It’s how I stay alive in the ways that matter.

Why I’m asking for support

I’ve never charged for anything I make. Not once.

Every image, every piece of writing, every design — all of it is free for anyone who needs it, uses it, shares it, or finds comfort in it.

But the truth is simple:

I’m doing all of this with no financial safety net.

I still have not been approved for Social Security Disability. I can't even tie a pair of shoes. Three months ago I fell down the stairs and broke my amputation stump. I had to have surgery to repair and reinforce it. Here is an x-ray of it.

Here are some images of me right after the accident.

The hand, my right dominant hand, was amputated months after that photo was taken. I broke my neck. I broke my ankles, left leg, and part of my spleen had to be removed. These were injuries sustained with me wearing a seatbelt and the airbags deploying.

My dog Moco, he was my whole life, my child, my son, died suddenly of heart failure the night that I got out of the hospital from the “major amputation” hospital stay.

As I head into surgery and recovery, I’m asking — from a place of honesty, not shame — for support from the people who value what I create.

So the question keeps surfacing:

Could America actually face another civil war? 🇺🇸

Probably not in the traditional sense. Hopefully not. Fingers crossed. 🤞🏼

Most political experts do not believe the United States is heading toward a full-scale war like the 1860s, with organized armies and states seceding from the union. The military remains unified, institutions still function, and most Americans reject political violence outright.

But that does not mean the danger is imaginary. 🤯

What concerns researchers is the rise in political extremism, ideological violence, conspiracy-driven radicalization, and collapsing trust between Americans. The greater threat may not be a conventional civil war, but a long era of internal instability.

Modern conflict rarely looks like history books. 📖

Instead, it often emerges through:

• politically motivated shootings,

• extremist attacks,

• intimidation campaigns,

• violent protests,

• domestic terrorism,

• and online radicalization spilling into real life.

🆘 In many ways, America already shows warning signs:

• intense polarization,

• declining trust in institutions,

• disinformation,

• economic frustration,

• and growing dehumanization between political groups.

That last factor may be the most dangerous. Not to mention, adding Donald Trump into the equation certainly increases the likelihood of something terrible happening in America. ⁉️

Democracies can survive disagreement. What they struggle to survive is when citizens begin seeing one another not as neighbors, but as enemies beyond coexistence. 🌎

History shows societies often fracture slowly before they fracture violently. 🤬

And today, millions of Americans increasingly believe the country is fundamentally broken. 💔

Still, there is an important distinction between tension and collapse. The United States is not currently on the brink of open civil war. But it is navigating one of the most socially and politically volatile periods in modern history.

The future will depend less on elections alone and more on whether Americans can rebuild something increasingly rare:

shared reality,
shared humanity,
and the willingness to coexist with people they profoundly disagree with.

Because nations do not only fall apart through bullets and battlefields.

Sometimes they erode quietly —
through fear,
through rage,
through isolation,
and through the slow disappearance of trust.

America’s future is not predetermined.

But the temperature is rising.

And everyone can feel the heat. 🔥

The GOP officials and lawmakers who have enabled the blatant corruption, fraud, profiteering, grifting, insider trading, bribery, and more are complicit. If they are not fully prosecuted and punished for their crimes, then no other Americans should be prosecuted for theirs either. Period.

Why should everyday Americans be locked in cages for a single minor offense while government officials who have been accused of violent crimes — including actions that have led to the deaths of U.S. citizens — face no justice, no punishment, and no imprisonment at all?

Meanwhile, people across the country are rotting in prison for possessing a microscopic amount of so‑called “controlled substances.”

“American justice” means you can go to prison for smoking a joint, having a pill in your pocket without a current prescription, or unknowingly having a tiny baggie with residue from years ago in your vehicle. Yet you can rape, molest, kill, defraud, scam, steal, and lie — and still avoid prison entirely. When you have enough money or status, you don’t even have to endure questioning or investigation. You don’t have to go to court. Nothing.

Why are people okay with their friends, family members, neighbors, and co‑workers going to jail or prison for minor “crimes,” yet complacent when billionaires, celebrities, and political figures face zero consequences for anything they do?

And our government does nothing about any of this very obvious and well known issue. It’s ignored. It’s labeled being “tough on crime,” which really means: if you’re an average American, you will be punished to the extreme. If you’re rich and elite, you have virtually no chance of being held accountable for anything. None. Ever.

How and why do local judges send everyone else to prison but not the powerful? America incarcerates more people than numerous other countries combined. Because it is very profitable at the local, state, and federal levels. It there was not billions of dollars to made then they would not put anyone in jail or prison.

If you have any thoughts that your state or federal government truly cares about your individual life and safety then you are a real fool. Full stop.

Look at Alex Pretti and Renee Good. They were murdered by our own government but nobody has been or will be punished for killing them on video.

Meanwhile, the FBI and DOJ are actively prosecuting someone for arranging seashells on a beach into the numbers: 8647.

Okay, it’s time to address some basic facts and common sense regarding transgender women and the fear-based misinformation that continues to be spread about them.

It's time to debunk this ridiculous lie.

For years, Donald Trump, MAGA figures, Christian Nationalists, and some Evangelical activists have pushed the false narrative that transgender women are somehow a danger to heterosexual women in public restrooms. That rhetoric is not based on evidence, logic, or reality. It is political propaganda rooted in fear, prejudice, and misunderstanding.

Think about this rationally for a moment.

If a man disguises himself as a woman in order to enter a women’s restroom and sexually assault someone, that person is not a transgender woman. He is a predator pretending to be one. The crime is committed by a violent heterosexual offender — not by trans people simply existing.

Transgender women are not transitioning in order to prey on women. In fact, many trans women experience profound discomfort and dysphoria regarding the bodies they were born with. Their transition is about identity, authenticity, and living in alignment with who they truly are emotionally and psychologically — not about harming others.

Many trans women are attracted to men, and many seek gender-affirming medical care because they want their physical bodies to reflect their gender identity. The idea that trans women are secretly waiting to assault women in bathrooms is a manufactured myth that has been repeated so often by extremists that some people mistake it for truth.

There is no epidemic of transgender women attacking women in restrooms. That narrative was invented to justify discrimination, fear, transphobia, and broader hostility toward LGBTQ+ people.

When women are harmed in restrooms or other spaces, the overwhelming majority of perpetrators are cisgender heterosexual men.

Blaming transgender women for crimes they are not committing is both dishonest and wrong.

Fearmongering about LGBTQ+ people has long been used as a political and religious weapon. It relies on stereotypes, ignorance, and emotional manipulation instead of facts.

Transgender people are human beings trying to live their lives safely and peacefully like everyone else. They deserve dignity, respect, and the freedom to exist without being turned into political scapegoats.

If you ask him he will say, “I've ended 8 wars”. If you redirect him back to this topic he will say, “I won by a landslide, nobody, ever, anywhere, has ever had more votes than me. People love me, like, a lot.” If you try for the third time, then he says, “you're a disgrace, you're a loser, you have a low IQ.”

Many times, I’ve dreamt about what it would be like to have a house, a white picket fence, a pretty, domesticated wife, 2.5 kids, a dog, a cat, a goldfish. Playing on the town softball team. Being a regular—two hours a week—at the local sports bar with the guys, bitching about our fantasy football predictions.

As opposed to being the small-town Idaho faggot. The county queer. A “great guy” to everyone, but kept at arm’s length by the straight guys. Because “people might get the wrong idea.” You know—the classic: you’re an awesome person, BUT I couldn’t handle anyone thinking I’m like you… gay.

Makes perfect sense, right? Being told you’re a good person while also being someone they wouldn’t be caught dead being mistaken for.

In school, out of school, at work, not at work, with your family, without your family, in jail, not in jail, at the mall, at the grocery store, riding in a patrol car (in the front), driving an ambulance, a hearse, a van with CORONER plastered on the sides, a QRU/Rescue truck—lights flashing, headlights blinking, sirens blaring—surrounded by screaming patients, surrounded by corpses. In a morgue. Splattered across a house, a highway, a freeway. Hanging from a tree or the rafters of a barn. In the chaos—pagers beeping, alarms sounding, alert tones going off, dispatchers barking orders, people laughing, people crying, me laughing, me crying—in dead silence… I’m still the odd man out.

The one whispered about. The one mocked. The one welcomed and embraced while being pushed away at the same time. The guy all the girls love. The guy who loves guys. The guy that guys feel the need—verbally or physically—to distance themselves from. To make it crystal clear: I am not like him, and he is definitely not like me. More importantly, everyone must know—we’re “only friends.”

People you love—your own family, fellow parishioners, coworkers, friends, strangers, politicians, righteous Christians, Jehovah’s Witnesses, Muslims, Scientologists, Christian Scientists, agnostics, cult members—make it a point to tell you that you’re going to burn in hell for being who you are. Some soften it (for themselves) with, “you know I love you, but…,” or “love the sinner, hate the sin,” or “the Bible says,” or “Jesus said…”

Then you add politicians deciding it’s their God-given, patriotic duty to relentlessly enforce anything and everything anti-you—for the sake of “humanity” and all that is “holy.” The self-appointed “Christian values” police.

Heterosexual, Caucasian, elderly, so-called Christian men—suddenly experts on homosexuality, transgender people, lesbians, women, reproductive health, abortion, menstruation, being Black, being brown, being Indigenous, Native American, South American, Mexican, Ukrainian—on marginalization, discrimination, slavery, childbirth, the Bible, war, Jesus Christ’s every thought, intention, and belief.

And their supporters—the people you live among, day in and day out—eat it up. They savor every word.

When you have a “president,” a governor, and local officials constantly saying and doing everything imaginable to reduce, diminish, dismiss, marginalize, discriminate against, and oppress you and people like you—it takes a toll. When your own family, neighbors, friends, your town, your entire state embrace it, celebrate it—even when it’s aimed directly at you, someone they supposedly love—it hurts. A lot.

Aligning with a political party, a politician, a movement, an ideology—that matters more to them than who you are as a person. That’s the part that cuts deepest.

And you can’t say anything. Because then you’re a liberal, a libtard, a pussy, too sensitive, petty, “taking it the wrong way,” etc.

God forbid someone in Idaho be seen as a bleeding-heart whatever because they choose their family member or friend over the Republican Party, Brad Little, or MAGA. God forbid Idaho lawmakers tell Trump “no.” God forbid LDS members tell their church president, “It’s 2026—get over the gay shit. Treat us the same.” God forbid anyone calls out so-called Christian nationalism and extremism for what it is.

I mean, the world would stop spinning. The earth would fall off its axis. Someone might think you’re a no-good faggot lover. Worse—they might say you have Trump Derangement Syndrome.

That implies that he did it but it's okay because it was an unfair bribe. Homan had no idea that it was an FBI sting when he took the $50,000.00. He knowingly accepted a bribe from two unknown businessmen. It's on video. It's a felony.

Who decides what gets investigated—and what gets closed?

The fact that we are not shocked by Kash Patel being drunk all of the time, is confirmation that we have come to expect unheard-of, embarrassing, unprofessional, and corrupt behavior from Donald Trump and his entire “administration” (or lack thereof).

At any other time in American history, we would have never read a news story as appalling and as damning as today's news about Kash Patel (intoxicated around the clock, paranoid, unreachable, etc). Why? Because no other president, in their right mind, would have ever put someone like Kash Patel in charge of the FBI.

The FBI’s emblem was a seal of trust, honesty, and integrity. If the FBI was involved, there was absolutely no doubt that the matter at hand was as good as gold. If they were involved, it was solved. Not anymore.

Donald Trump, Kash Patel, and the Department of Justice have destroyed the FBI. It is now a cesspool of corruption, dysfunction, and incompetence. It is a biased, vindictive, and prejudiced entity that has been shaped by Donald Trump.

It is no longer an asset to America, to foreign allies, or to its citizens. It is a taxpayer-funded personal and political security service, operating like a private company.

The FBI now provides a taxpayer funded motorcade, entourage, taxi services, private jet services, and designated driver services to and for Kash Patel, his wannabe country star girlfriend, and Kash Patel's friends.

Patel has even ordered customized BMW'S to replace the Chevy Suburbans that he and his girlfriend are driven around in. In fact, he ordered: BMW X5’S, armored, luxury SUV’S. With an estimated $338,000.00 to $428,000.00 price tag, per vehicle. A recent advertisement listed the price at $450,000.00. (Price includes the “X5 Security Plus” option; it does NOT include the $50,000.00, per person, “driver training” fee for these specific vehicles). Records confirm that Patel has ordered at least four of these vehicles for the FBI. Neither Patel or Trump have disclosed the price per vehicle or the total purchase price. There is no trust in the FBI now. There is no belief in the agency or its agents. Where there is zero integrity, zero impartiality, and zero honesty, there is zero trust, zero value, and zero dependability. Period.

If there is even one FBI Agent who has been involved in or complicit in the Trump, Patel, or Epstein issues then the entire agency is ineffective and useless. Because there is no way for anyone to know which agents are “good” and which agents are “bad”.

The FBI needs to be dissolved and abolished the moment that an actual president is sworn in. It has been compromised to a point of no return. It is too corrupt, too tainted, and too far gone to continue into the future.

Donald Trump, DOJ, and Kash Patel are directly responsible for:

• Politicization of the FBI

• Undermining Nonpartisan Norms

• Weakened National Security

• Abuse of Power and Misconduct

• Radical Restructuring

• Weaponizing the FBI

• Targeting Trump's “enemies”

• Created a climate of fear

• Fired experienced agents for political reasons

A new agency needs to be built from the ground up to replace it—once the current disastrous “government” in Washington, D.C. has been replaced, and those responsible have been held accountable for their corrupt and unethical actions—from Trump to complicit members of Congress, and every government official in between.

Until then, it will remain the Federal Bureau of Incompetency/Intoxication. 🍺

In America, a woman goes to prison for having an abortion. Even if she was raped.

Let that sink in.

However, you can rape, molest, assault, and abuse children or women as you please. Not only will you not be punished, you won't even be questioned or investigated.

But, before you go on a raping spree, stockpile as much money as possible. Doing so guarantees the aforementioned.

Worse case scenario, hire an attorney, the more expensive that they are the better the “plea bargain” will be. Either way, you won't do any jail time. Six of one, half a dozen of the other.

Because America is great again! 🇺🇸 Wouldn't you agree?

Side note: if you unintentionally become addicted to a substance, you will go to prison. For years. Especially in a red state. Believe me, I know. Also, if you say the wrong thing to US Federal Agent/Officer, you will be shot and killed.

BUT,

Rape someone, pick your babies name, and then just share custody with your crime-victim for life. Because, “WINNING”. (PLEASE DON'T RAPE ANYONE.)

Incest is wrong! It doesn't matter how long you and your sister/cousin or aunt/mom have been “keeping it in the family”, it's a crime. If Donald Trump jumped off of a bridge, would you do it too? Just because he does these things that does not make it right!
