Publicly traded Bitmine (NYSE: BMNR) is an Ethereum treasury company that warrants your immediate attention. It just had a “Golden Cross” where the 50-day moving average crossed the 200-day moving average, a very bullish technical signal.

Recognize that Bitmine is a Goliath that already owns 4.8% of all Ethereum, a cryptocurrency on which I am extremely bullish. Tom Lee’s Bitmine now owns 4.8% of Ethereum supply after latest ETH purchase. The company’s stated goal is to own a minimum of 5% of all Ethereum. Once it does so, the cash flow is going to hit the bottom line as the company pivots from Ethereum acquisition to capital accumulation.

• On August 19, 2026, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent’s department announced it would at least double the size of its liquidity support buyback operations for longer-dated (roughly 10- to 30-year) Treasuries.

• The increase raises the prior maximum from $2 billion per operation to at least $4 billion.

• The change takes effect September 9 and runs through early November.

Robinhood Chain lifted off on July 1, 2026, and is a runaway success. One way to invest in this successful launch is to simply buy Robinhood stock, which is traded on the Nasdaq under the ticker “HOOD.”

Robinhood Chain is Robinhood Markets’ (HOOD) permissionless Ethereum Layer-2 blockchain, built on Arbitrum Orbit. Its focus is on tokenized real-world assets (RWAs), DeFi, AI agent trading, and 24/7 finance. The chain uses ETH for gas fees, settles on Ethereum, and is fully EVM-compatible with fast block times.

Let’s address the problems up front.

Risks and Bear Considerations

• It lacks a native token.

• It faces regulatory hurdles (especially in the U.S.). The Clarity Act has stagnated in Congress.

• It faces intense competition from other L2s and RWAs.

• It is a new platform and carries the execution risks inherent in being new.

But Robinhood’s name recognition and user base come with significant advantages.

Massive Built-In Distribution (27–28 Million Users)

Robinhood’s enormous retail user base offers instant adoption through the Robinhood Wallet. This creates a significant moat for tokenized products that most other chains lack.

Explosive Early Traction

Post-launch metrics have been impressive:

• Approximately $3.1 billion in DEX volume in the first week (ranking among the top 5 chains).

Commentators are constantly talking about Ethereum treasury company, Bitmine. Missed in the talk is a discussion of the percentage of Ethereum transactions that are handled by Level 2 cryptos (“L2”).

Significantly, it is also one of the world’s most indebted with a debt that is more than 200% of its GDP. That places incredible pressure on its fiat currency. Japan’s Lower House has recently passed a bill to reclassify cryptocurrency as financial instruments. This move will now enable the development of regulated spot and derivative ETFs for crypto assets. Wall Street heavyweight DTCC (Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation), which custodies over $114 trillion in assets and processes quadrillions of dollars in transactions annually, announced a major integration with the Stellar blockchain. The partnership will enable DTCC’s tokenized securities platform to connect with Stellar (“XLM”), bringing stocks, ETFs, U.S. Treasuries, and other DTC-custodied assets onto the public blockchain.

Tokenized assets are targeted to go live on Stellar in the first half of 2027, as part of DTCC’s broader multi-chain strategy.

In response, XLM surged between 20–40%+ in the days following the May 27 announcement, briefly surpassing Monero in market cap rankings and ranking among the top-performing major cryptocurrencies. Trading volume spiked dramatically as the news ignited strong retail and institutional interest.
