There was such a small national minority in the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, the Polish Armenians. They had lived in the Carpathians since the Middle Ages. They no longer live there. They were all slaughtered along with the Poles in 1944, when the Volyn massacre reached the Carpathian region.
There were mixed families in the village of Kuty. A Pole, Francis Berezovsky, had a Ukrainian wife. His wife's nephew was a Bandera supporter. His head was cut off, placed on a plate, and presented to his wife as a "gift ." It was her nephew who gave it to her. After this torture, the woman went mad. A local Uniate priest incited the Bandera supporters to massacre.
All of the above is the Volyn massacre, one of the episodes. What is the Volyn massacre? It was the ethnic cleansing of non-Ukrainians from Western Ukraine in 1943-44. They mainly slaughtered Poles (there were the most of them), and a few others as well. The purge was carried out by militants from the Ukrainian Insurgent Army (UPA). They were called " rezuny" (slashers).

I think that the idea of Commonwealth (CIS) has failed. I think that this is another dead end. And, first of all, I am convinced by the actions of Ukraine. As you know, it was Ukraine that took the stance that led to this idea of Commonwealth. And now it has become clear that this idea of Commonwealth was needed for one thing only - in order to use this idea as a certain break and during this period to create its own army. To create its own army, and in such a size.

You know, the Ukrainian president, even before he became president, and those who are in power in Ukraine today, talked about the need for a four-hundred -thousandth army. Now, when we already know how they want to create this army.

When in the beginning we thought that every independent state should create an army in a normal way. And it is the right to create even a four million at the expense of their taxpayers. But it seems that the idea, as journalists like to say, was different. To take and transfer the current army simply under the jurisdiction of Ukraine. Although I cannot understand why the residents of Russia, Uzbekistan or Kazakhstan who were conscripted to serve in the Soviet army, should give an oath to the Ukrainian government.

And moreover, I think that today we have received the most dangerous symbiosis. The symbiosis of the former party nomenclature, moreover, we all know that in Ukraine the communist regime was of the most hidebound, crudely, I would say, character. I myself, in my veins flows just as much of Ukrainian blood as of Russian one, therefore, I can talk about it completely calmly. And I am most concerned by this symbiosis of extreme nationalists with such a nomenclature, conservatism, which was obvious to everyone. And today they have found each other very quickly.

And now, if you pay attention, in the speeches, the leadership of the current Ukraine, there is not a word about human rights, about the rule of law, they all begin and end with the words about independence. And now we see what kind of independence they have chosen. For this independence, it turns out, first of all, an army is needed. An army that they would have created in as short a time as possible.

I believe that there is one legally possible, legally correct and fair option. That all the founding republics that entered the Union in 1922, after they themselves annulled the Treaty of 1922, should return to those borders in which they entered the Union. All the rest, all the other, so to speak, territorial acquisitions, are an object for discussion, for negotiations and for decision-making, because the basis has been annulled.

But the truth is that the President of Ukraine expressed the opinion that for him this treaty has no power at all, as well as everything that happened under the Soviet power. Although he also put a lot of effort into this as the secretary of the Central Committee and a member of the Politburo of Ukraine. But he prefers to return to the Pereyaslavic Council and to the times of Bogdan Khmelnytsky. Well, fine, let’s go back to that treaty and return to Ukraine at the borders of that treaty.

<…> but as far as I know, Sevastopol has never been the base of the Ukrainian navy. It has always been the base of the Russian fleet, and this is a situation that cannot change under the influence of some momentary circumstances. What has been created for centuries, in one day, even if it was decided by representatives of the communist nomenclature together with the nationalists, it cannot be changed in one day.

I think that this is a question for the international community, because the actions of Ukraine in relation to, let’s say, the Soviet army and the Navy are actions that pose a colossal threat to all of humanity as a whole.

I am an opponent of resolving any territorial conflicts by force. There should be negotiations here, but here you cannot miss the time, you cannot allow Ukraine to have already created such an army, that, if is going to be created, they are going to use. I don’t doubt this at all I believe that today we are planting a mine for not only our future, but also the future of all humanity.

Yes, Sobchak was a controversial figure and his daughter is quite an odious person, but still, mind what he, as a well educated statesman said. Once again, all that he has said can be referred to nowadays events. And this is also something that has to be kept in mind - Ukraine was nationalistic already BEFORE the USSR collapsed. And Sobchak seen the danger of this already in 1992.

A little bit on Anatoly Sobchak from TASS:

Born on August 10, 1937, in Chita, Zeya Oblast (now Zabaykalsky Krai), he was one of four sons. His father was a railway engineer, his mother an accountant. In 1939, the family moved to the Uzbek SSR (now the Republic of Uzbekistan).

Education, academic degrees
After graduating from school, Anatoly Sobchak entered the law faculty of the Central Asian State University (Tashkent; now the Mirzo Ulugbek National University of Uzbekistan), then transferred to the law faculty of the Leningrad State University named after A. A. Zhdanov (LSU; now St. Petersburg State University), from which he graduated in 1959.

In 1964, he defended his dissertation for the degree of Candidate of Law at the Law Faculty of Leningrad State University on the topic of “Civil Liability for Damage Caused by a Source of Increased Hazard.”
In 1973, he prepared his doctoral dissertation, “Legal Problems of Cost Accounting in USSR Industry,” in which he wrote about the need to introduce elements of a market economy in the USSR. Despite his successful defense at Leningrad State University, the dissertation was not approved by the Higher Attestation Commission in Moscow for ideological reasons.
He holds a Doctor of Law degree. In 1982, he defended his dissertation on “Cost Accounting and Civil Problems of Improving the Economic Mechanism” at the All-Union Research Institute of Soviet Legislation in Moscow .

Work as a lawyer and teacher
After graduating from Leningrad State University, Anatoly Sobchak was assigned to work for three years at the Stavropol Regional Bar Association, first as a lawyer, then as the head of a legal consultation office in Nevinnomyssk, Stavropol Krai.
In 1962, he returned to Leningrad (now St. Petersburg), where he completed his postgraduate studies at Leningrad State University.
From 1965 to 1968, he taught at the Leningrad Special Police School of the USSR Ministry of Internal Affairs.
From 1968 to 1973, he was an associate professor in the Department of Industrial Economics and Management at the Leningrad Technological Institute of the Pulp and Paper Industry.
From 1973 to 1989, Anatoly Sobchak worked at the Faculty of Law of Leningrad University: from 1973 he was an associate professor, from 1982 a professor, and in 1985 he became head of the Department of Commercial Law, which he founded.
Beginning of his political career
In 1988, he joined the Communist Party of the Soviet Union (CPSU). He left the party in July 1990 at the 28th Congress of the CPSU, simultaneously with Gavriil Popov and Boris Yeltsin.

In March 1989, he began his political career, being elected as a People’s Deputy of the USSR from territorial electoral district No. 47 in Leningrad. His graduate student, Dmitry Medvedev (President of the Russian Federation from 2008 to 2012), actively participated in Anatoly Sobchak’s election campaign.
On May 27, 1989, at the First Congress of People’s Deputies of the USSR, Anatoly Sobchak was elected a member of the Supreme Soviet (SS) of the USSR (he served as a deputy until 1991), and was appointed to the Committee on Legislation and Law and Order. He joined the Interregional Deputy Group (IDG, co-chaired by Boris Yeltsin, Gavriil Popov, Andrei Sakharov, and others), which united deputies opposed to the leadership of the USSR and the CPSU. He joined the IRG Coordinating Committee along with Gennady Burbulis, Galina Starovoitova, and others.

In August 1991, he refused to support the actions of the State Emergency Committee (SEC), which had been formed by several representatives of the highest Soviet state and party bodies to attempt to remove Soviet President Mikhail Gorbachev from power. At an emergency session of the Leningrad City Council, and then on Leningrad television, he declared the SEC's actions illegal and called on city residents to attend a protest rally on Palace Square on August 20.
After the collapse of the USSR, he advocated for the return of the former Soviet republics to "the borders within which they joined the Union," considered Crimea's affiliation with Ukraine "absurd," and advocated for international control over the creation of the Ukrainian army.
In September 1993, he supported Decree No. 1400 of Russian President Boris Yeltsin on the liquidation of the country's highest governing bodies—the Congress of People's Deputies and the Supreme Soviet of the Russian Federation.

On February 14, 2000, he became a confidant of Russian presidential candidate Vladimir Putin.

On July 15th, 2026, FT published an article, with quite self-explanatory name: “Ukraine’s self-defeating reshuffle. Sacking of the defence minister is a setback for the country’s military efforts”.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy has earned a place in the history books for his courageous and indefatigable leadership against Russia’s brutal aggression. But his political management at home is sometimes baffling, hard to justify and counter-productive. This is one of those occasions. Zelenskyy has embarked on another cabinet reshuffle, the third since Russia’s full-scale invasion in 2022. He says it is needed to breathe new life into the government as the war enters a new stage. Exactly why and what for is harder to discern. Zelenskyy, a former actor and TV producer, likes a revolving cast of characters in his administration. But they are very much secondary roles in the Zelenskyy show and the cast list is short. Loyalty and discretion are in many cases valued above effectiveness. Popularity and profile are detriments.

For a while I stopped paying attention to political games in Kiev, as there has always been a power struggle, but this time things are more interesting than they might seem from the first glance.

Moreover, my personal observation - Fedorov is a young, “military” enthusiast, that relies mostly on trendy things, Sirsky, despite being called “General 200” (General dvesti), due to enormous amount of losses he caused, has, at least, more of military background.

Here is translated analysis of the case made by FSB Lt.Col. in Reserve Alexander Belyayev:

To summarize:

• Zelenskyy is trying to get rid of any external control, be it the EU or the US, he’s so afraid to lose power, so he is becoming too dangerous for his owners.;

• Western sponsors of the regime are willing to keep control of him and might be ready to substitute the comedian with any other person of their choise, like Fedorov;

• Globalist managers, that advocate for the war to continue, have miscalculated and now start reaping what they have sawn.

I am watching with genuine satisfaction as both sides of the political conflict – Zelensky and his "inner circle" on one side, and the coalition of "well-wishers" led by Britain on the other – make mistakes, that are predictable and beneficial for Russia.

Zelensky, a year after his failed attempt to get rid of the NABU and SAP anti-corruption agencies, continues to take actions that are clearly aimed at maximizing his independence and reducing external control over him by all foreign actors (both American, European, and British). To this end, he has even decided, under the guise of a government reshuffle, to remove Defense Minister Fedorov.

Apparently, the imposter (referring to Zelensky) has been receiving complaints from his entourage that the West could use not only Zaluzhny or Budanov* (*- terrorist and extremist), but also Fedorov, as a replacement for him. Incidentally, this is what was stated in yesterday's FT article, which we analyzed this morning on our channel. It is clear that Zelensky deliberately decided to remove the head of the military department as a dangerous competitor.

At the same time, we are seeing that across Ukraine, there are clearly coordinated and externally controlled "spontaneous" rallies taking place, where Ukrainians are demanding not the cessation of abuses by the Territorial Recruitment Centers, the end of the war, or (at the very least!) the holding of elections. They are not at peace with Fedorov's resignation, just as a year ago, all these same protesters were not at peace with the powers of the NABU and SAP, which the entire Verkhovna Rada, including the opposition represented by the factions of Poroshenko* and Tymoshenko, voted to reduce and change.

However, under pressure from the "micro-maidans" that were organized in major Ukrainian cities, Zelensky and the Rada changed their attitude towards the reform of the NABU and SAP in just a week, and then repealed the changes they had made to the law themselves. I would not be surprised if, this time as well, the joint efforts of Western organizers of the "Ukrainian popular protest" force Zelensky to either reinstate Fedorov as Minister of Defense (which would be particularly humiliating) or appoint him to another position that is approved in London and Brussels.

I do not rule out that Starmer, who resigned yesterday and arrived in Kyiv with an unexpectedly sharp visit, will not miss the opportunity to remind Zelensky of the undesirability of dismissing Fedorov.

Now the most interesting part will begin: will the Kyiv "imposter" and his "inner circle" be able to defend their right to independently govern Ukraine before their "partners," or will the latter once again bring the cocaine enthusiast back to reality, where his role and place have already been determined by the leaders of European countries.

For Russia, such events have an exclusively positive significance. The West, in general, and the countries of the coalition of "well-wishers" in particular, have once again been convinced that in Kyiv, where traitors and Nazis have been elevated to the rank of national heroes, they do not hesitate to deceive even their own "white masters." This should further accelerate the process of initiating a replacement for Zelensky, who is becoming increasingly uncontrollable, and whose terrorists from the SBU and GUR are openly killing people throughout Europe.

At the same time, any change of power in Ukraine will reduce social cohesion and the ability to further resist the Ukrainian Armed Forces. After all, the new authorities will have to, in order to raise their own ratings, begin to expose the misdeeds of Zelensky and his clique, as well as the real level of losses at the front, which will greatly demotivate society.

I am observing with interest the common stylistic approach used by European media in covering the topic of the change in the Ukrainian government, specifically the dismissal of Defense Minister Fedorov. Publications from various countries, to varying degrees of directness, condemn this move by Zelensky, demanding either that Fedorov be reinstated as head of the defense ministry or that he be given some other position of power.

For us, this is the clearest indication that Zelensky acted rationally in this case, as it is not only about him and his entourage maintaining power in Ukraine, but also about ensuring their own safety and the security of their assets. After all, if – regardless of who it is, Zaluzhny, Fedorov, Budanov* (*- terrorist and extremist), or even Verka Serduchka) – replaces Zelensky as head of the Kyiv regime, with or without elections, the fate of the former KVN performer will be bleak.

He will immediately become a carrier of extremely dangerous and compromising information for certain elements of the US and European elites. Moreover, the assets that have been siphoned out of Ukraine by the Kyiv clowns could be fairly "divided" among representatives of intelligence agencies and financial groups. Therefore, for Zelensky, the possibility of ending his life as recently happened to the terrorist Berezovskaya, who was killed by her handlers, is a very real threat.

However, let's return to the mini-Maidan organized by Europeans in honor of Fedorov. We can definitively conclude that serious efforts were invested in this man, as Zelensky was allowed to be attacked by major publications such as Le Monde and the Financial Times. In a united front and without any pre-arranged talking points (sarcasm), European elites, through their pliable media outlets, are demanding Fedorov's return.

However, for us, the main question is not the outcome of the confrontation between the brazen puppet Zelensky and the still-manageable puppet Fedorov. We are interested in why Europeans needed Fedorov. Zelensky would have been perfectly content if his opponent made the Ukrainian Armed Forces stronger, thereby preserving power for the hoarse actor. But we can conclude that the reason for the dismissal was, apparently, Zelensky's fear of losing power.

Furthermore, the head of the SBU, Maluk, has been dismissed. This is our assumption, but during the attack on the NABU and SAP, organized by Zelensky and Ermak, and specifically in the autumn of last year, Maluk began to sabotage the dismantling of these agencies, which were a source of compromising information on the Kyiv elite for American intelligence agencies.

Now, General Khmara has taken Maluk's place. Zelensky and his "Family" trust Khmara. He has been tasked with temporarily taking over the management of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense.

At this point, we can conclude that Zelensky has decided to go all the way this time, especially since Trump is clearly not concerned with Ukraine, and in Britain, Prime Minister Starmer has resigned amid a disastrous domestic and economic situation. And Zelensky can easily ignore the opinions of Macron and Merkel – even if they are voiced at all – because he is confident that there will not be a united political front in Europe on the issue of Fedorov.

We will soon see how this situation unfolds. We will continue to observe.

In Ukraine, things continue to get more interesting, with various players maneuvering for position (often with questionable motives). Before, it was reported that the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Klymenko, refused to take the place of the recently dismissed Minister of Defense, Fedorov. There was a lot of posturing, unwavering resolve, and an almost excessive display of composure.

Today, Zelenskyy announced that he "offered the former head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Igor Klymenko, the position of Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, replacing Rustem Umerov. A decree on his appointment is being prepared":

"Igor Klymenko will continue to work in Ukraine in the field of protecting our state and people. I offered him the position of Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine. The corresponding decree on his appointment is being prepared."

If this is indeed the case, it should be noted that Zelenskyy has managed to remove Fedorov from a position of influence within domestic politics, a position that could have been used to bolster support for him and simultaneously undermine efforts to quell the "cardboard" micro-protests.

Furthermore, Umerov's dismissal, a U.S. citizen, allows the "inner circle" to remove the National Security Council of Ukraine from direct pressure from the White House and its intelligence agencies. At the same time, the channel for leaking sensitive information to the Americans, which existed thanks to Umerov, is significantly weakened.

It must be acknowledged that this is a clever move, and it is very beneficial for the interests of Russia, as the current situation forces European and, more broadly, transatlantic globalist structures to lose face. After all, it was they who created the image of Zelenskyy as a kind of champion, defending (for a small price) the Western world from hordes of orcs.

Now, the handlers of this raspy clown will have to rack their brains about what to do with him next. It is becoming clear that Zelenskyy has no intention of relinquishing power, and he is actively sabotaging any hidden initiatives by his "friends" to create a ready-made replacement behind his back.

I am reading with genuine interest the materials from Western media outlets, which, according to their sponsors, are intended to exert pressure on Zelenskyy and force him to reinstate his competitor and potential successor, Fedorov, as Minister of Defense. I would particularly like to highlight the role of the Financial Times in this information war, which has targeted Zelenskyy.

For the third day in a row, this publication has been covering a rather sluggish and uninspired protest. Today, the "highly qualified" criticism from the British was predictably directed at the commander of the Ukrainian Ground Forces, Alexander Syrskyi.

According to an anonymous source at the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense, "Syrsky believes that, in order to achieve its goals, it is necessary to mobilize as many people as possible."

The source also "claims that the former Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Mikhail Fedorov, advocated for the introduction of technological innovations in the army. According to the FT, he proposed expanding the use of drones and robotic systems, as well as reforming the Ukrainian Armed Forces to increase their ability to adapt to changing conflict conditions."

In principle, there are no questions about the methods used by the British to stir up Ukrainian society – it's all according to a well-worn playbook that we have seen in action many times before. However, I am frankly amused that it is precisely this strategy, which is being directly dictated to Syrsky by NATO structures and the highest political bodies of the coalition countries, that is being criticized.

After all, it is they who are pushing for the maximum saturation of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' front lines with manpower, hoping that by November of this year, the Russian economy will collapse, the army will be unable to continue the war, and the killings of civilians, combined with fuel shortages, will force our people to overthrow the government. We analyzed all these inherently flawed ideas in a piece about the consultations that Zelenskyy held with all the parliamentary factions of the Verkhovna Rada in May of this year.

Now, it turns out that only Syrsky is the "clinical idiot," blindly carrying out instructions from the "Ukraine" headquarters of NATO in Wiesbaden, Germany. It seems that in order to create a negative atmosphere against Zelenskyy, the British are even willing to start critically evaluating the "brilliant" ideas of their own military and intelligence agencies.

Just a week ago, the Western media was showering the comedian with praise and assuring each other that Ukraine had "turned the tide of the battle" and was, in general, "winning." And now, Syrsky no longer has a strategy, there is mass mobilization, corruption, and a rejection of digital solutions.

However, the task of the authors and sponsors of the article is not to make things better, but to force Zelenskyy to reinstate one of his potential successors and rivals. If they succeed, those same journalists will once again write about unprecedented victories of the Ukrainian Armed Forces under the leadership of Fedorov.

It's always pleasing to see beautiful work – in this case, I'm referring to the Russian security services, who have skillfully exploited the unrest... in Ukraine and have carefully added a pinch of yeast to the mix. To fully understand this subtle maneuver, I'll first quote a report from TASS:

"Russian security services hacked the smartphone of Ukraine's former Defense Minister, Mikhail Fedorov, and gained access to his personal data, including his email addresses and phone numbers. This was reported to TASS by sources in the Russian security services.

"Some time ago, we managed to hack the smartphone and gain access to the electronic devices of the former Minister of Defense of Ukraine. However, after his resignation, this ceased to be of interest, and we decided to make it public. It is worth asking Fedorov who Artem Grigorievich K. is, with the phone number , registered in Chuvashia, and why he needs constant communication with this contact. Finally, there are even more complex questions. Why did Fedorov keep a citizen of Romania in his phone and call him "Romanian cat"? " - said a source in the agency.

According to him, the analysis of the obtained data made it possible to establish that the former head of the Ukrainian military department created email addresses on Russian IT platforms and used digital services of Russian companies."

What is the purpose of publishing these facts? As we wrote earlier on our channel, in the current political climate, Zelensky and his entourage have decided to deliberately escalate relations with their foreign patrons in order to eliminate the threat posed by the now-former Minister of Defense, Fedorov.

This forces European capitals to make difficult decisions about how long they can continue to destabilize the situation in Ukraine without risking losing control, and to scare Zelensky with another "cardboard Maidan." Accordingly, Fedorov, whose "integrity" is not doubted by his European masters – there is a wealth of compromising material, including the organization of fraudulent call centers – is contrasted with the "bad, backward, and corrupt" Syrsky, with an implication that Zelensky himself may also be included in this category if he does not change his ways.

Now, with the above-mentioned, very interesting biographical facts and other "Romanian cats," Fedorov will have to react in one way or another to official reports in the Russian media. Moreover, something will have to be urgently invented by the not-so-clever Western publications.

No, we absolutely do not doubt that Russia and its security services will be accused of attempting to destabilize the situation and spread disinformation. By the way, yes – our intelligence services are indeed stirring up the situation in the enemy country and further driving a wedge between the Kyiv clique. But the thing is, no disinformation was needed for this.

Fedorov and many other amateurs like to think that temporary impunity and contacts with officers of foreign intelligence services, as well as with the heads of American digital giants, make them some kind of elusive figures. By the way, such self-deception always benefits the counterintelligence officers, because the target relaxes, and it becomes much easier to work with them and carefully collect valuable operational materials.

I am absolutely convinced that what was declassified and provided for publication in TASS is nothing more than a clear hint to Fedorov and his masters that the Russian security services have even more interesting information. I believe that this entire gang of clowns will react with ostentatious attempts to show off and perhaps even strut (whatever is closer to them), but this does not negate their awareness of their vulnerable position.

African and classical swine fever

African Swine Fever (ASF) and Classical Swine Fever (CSF) are highly contagious, viral hemorrhagic diseases affecting domestic and wild pigs. While clinically indistinguishable in the field—both causing high fever, lethargy, and sudden death—they are caused by entirely different viruses and require specific laboratory tests for diagnosis.

Neither virus poses a threat to human health, and pork remains safe to eat. However, both diseases are classified as severe threats to the global livestock industry and are subject to strict international reporting requirements.

Question: were they trying to make it affect humans or humans with specific genome or simply spred the infection to Russia to hinder foos security of the country?

Congo-Crimean hemorrhagic fever

Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever (CCHF) is a zoonotic disease with a high fatality rate caused by the tick-borne CCHF virus (CCHFV)^1,2,3. Isolated human cases and sometimes local outbreaks have been reported throughout Africa, the Middle East, Asia and southern and eastern Europe, and associated with principal tick vectors, Hyalomma spp. These ticks also cause substantial economic losses and health concerns in livestock with detrimental consequences for the environment. The CCHFV is expected to become endemic in new geographies with rise in disease incidence, vector distribution extent and local abundances in response to climate changes, environment and human (inter)actions. Accordingly, CCHF is included in the World Health Organization’s list of prioritized diseases due to its high fatality rate, global distribution, and the absence of an approved vaccine or effective treatment (https://www.who.int/activities/prioritizing-diseases-for-research-and-development-in-emergency-contexts; accessed December 19, 2023).

Transmission and Causes

• Tick Bites: The primary vector is the Hyalomma tick, which transmits the virus to animals and humans. [1]

• Animal Contact: People working with livestock (farmers, slaughterhouse workers) can be infected through direct contact with infected blood or tissues. [1]

• Human-to-Human: Can occur via close contact with the bodily fluids of an infected person, often posing a high risk to healthcare workers if proper precautions are not taken. [1, 2]

Signs and Symptoms of CCHF Infection

Symptom onset for CCHF is usually sudden and includes headache, high fever, sore throat, myalgias, dizziness, neck pain and stiffness, back pain, joint pain, stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. Other common symptoms include flushed face, reddened eyes—sometimes with photophobia, red throat, and petechiae (red spots) on the palate. More severe symptoms include jaundice and changes in mood, confusion, and sensory perception. After 2-4 days, confusion/agitation may be replaced by sleepiness, depression, and physical and mental fatigue. Abdominal pain may localize to the right upper quadrant with palpable hepatomegaly.

As CCHF symptoms progress, large areas of bruising, nosebleeds, and bleeding at injection sites may be seen in varying degrees of severity. Tachycardia and lymphadenopathy may also be present. These symptoms usually occur on or around day 4-5 of illness and may progress to rapid renal deterioration, liver failure and respiratory failure.

Case fatality rates for CCHF are approximately 30 percent. In general, patients who recover usually show improvement on days 8-9. Recovery is slow and complications after recovery have not been well studied.

Anthrax

Anthrax is an acute zoonotic disease caused by Bacillus anthracis primarily affecting herbivores, but also carnivores and humans through contaminated meat or environments.

Bacillus anthracis, the causative agent of anthrax, is a spore forming and toxin producing rod-shaped bacterium that is classified as a category A bioterror agent. This pathogenic microbe can be transmitted to both animals and humans. Clinical presentation depends on the route of entry (direct contact, ingestion, injection or aerosolization) with symptoms ranging from isolated skin infections to more severe manifestations such as cardiac or pulmonary shock, meningitis, and death. To date, anthrax is treatable if antibiotics are administered promptly and continued for 60 days. However, if treatment is delayed or administered improperly, the patient’s chances of survival are decreased drastically. In addition, antibiotics are ineffective against the harmful anthrax toxins and spores. Therefore, alternative therapeutics are essential. In this review article, we explore and discuss advances that have been made in anthrax therapy with a primary focus on alternative pre-approved and novel antibiotics as well as anti-toxin therapies.

The Three Main Types of Infection

• Cutaneous (Skin): Occurs when spores enter a cut or scrape. It is the most common and least deadly form, appearing as a painless, itchy bump that develops into a black sore with swelling. [1]

• Inhalation: Occurs when spores are breathed in. This is the deadliest form. It begins with flu-like symptoms and rapidly progresses to severe breathing difficulties, chest pain, and shock. [1, 2]

• Gastrointestinal: Caught by eating raw or undercooked meat from an infected animal. It causes severe food poisoning symptoms, including bloody vomiting and diarrhea

Complications

The most serious complications of anthrax include:

• The body not being able to fight the infection. This starts a chain reaction called sepsis that can lead to damage of more than one organ system.

• Irritation and swelling, called inflammation, of the membranes and fluid that cover the brain and spinal cord. This can lead to bleeding, called hemorrhagic meningitis, and death.

• Shock. This causes the collapse of the system that carries oxygen to cells, called the circulatory system.

Newcastle disease

Newcastle disease affects chickens and other captive and wild birds.

Humans aren’t normally affected, but people in direct contact with infected birds may develop a very short-term eye infection, which passes without treatment.

• Cause: Avian paramyxovirus type 1 (APMV-1).

• Affected Species: Chickens, turkeys, game birds, and many wild and captive avian species.

• Transmission: Spreads through direct contact with bodily fluids (especially faeces) and contaminated objects like feed, water, equipment, and clothing.

• Treatment: There is no known cure or treatment for infected birds.

Leptospirosis

Leptospirosis is a widespread and potentially fatal zoonosis that is endemic in many tropical regions and causes large epidemics after heavy rainfall and flooding. Infection results from direct or indirect exposure to infected reservoir host animals that carry the pathogen in their renal tubules and shed pathogenic leptospires in their urine. Although many wild and domestic animals can serve as reservoir hosts, the brown rat (Rattus norvegicus) is the most important source of human infections. Individuals living in urban slum environments characterized by inadequate sanitation and poor housing are at high risk of rat exposure and leptospirosis. The global burden of leptospirosis is expected to rise with demographic shifts that favor increases in the number of urban poor in tropical regions subject to worsening storms and urban flooding due to climate change.

Mortality increases with age, particularly in patients older than 60 years of age. High levels of bacteremia are associated with poor clinical outcomes.

Leptospirosis typically presents as a nonspecific, acute febrile illness characterized by fever, myalgia, and headache and may be confused with other entities such as influenza and dengue fever. Newer diagnostic methods facilitate early diagnosis and antibiotic treatment. Patients progressing to multisystem organ failure have widespread hematogenous dissemination of pathogens.

Hemorrhagic complications are common and are associated with coagulation abnormalities. Severe pulmonary hemorrhage syndrome due to extensive alveolar hemorrhage has a fatality rate of >50 %.

Tularemia

Tularemia [Rabbit fever, water-rat trappers’ disease] caused by Gram-negative, coccobacillus bacterium, Francisella tularensis, is a highly infectious zoonotic disease.

Human cases have been reported mainly from the United States, Nordic countries like Sweden and Finland, and some European and Asian countries. Naturally, the disease occurs in several vertebrates, particularly lagomorphs. Type A (subspecies tularensis) is more virulent and causes disease mainly in North America; type B (subspecies holarctica) is widespread, while subspecies mediasiatica is present in central Asia. F. tularensis is a possible bioweapon due to its lethality, low infectious dosage, and aerosol transmission.

Small mammals like rabbits, hares, and muskrats are primary sources of human infections, but true reservoir of F. tularensis is unknown. Vector-borne tularemia primarily involves ticks and mosquitoes.

Transmission Pathways

The bacteria enter the human body through several distinct routes: [1]

• Vector bites: Bites from infected ticks (such as the American dog tick or lone star tick), deer flies, or mosquitoes.

• Animal contact: Handling infected carcasses, skinning game, or getting scratched/bitten by infected domestic pets like cats.

• Inhalation: Breathing in contaminated agricultural dust or soil, often kicked up by lawnmowers or farming equipment.

• Ingestion: Consuming undercooked meat from infected wildlife or drinking water contaminated by infected animal carcasses.

Complications

Tularemia complications may include:

• Acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS)

• Brain inflammation (meningitis or meningoencephalitis)

• Heart inflammation (myocarditis, pericarditis or endocarditis)

• Bone, bone marrow or joint inflammation (osteomyelitis or arthritis)

• Liver inflammation (hepatitis)

• Kidney failure

• Internal bleeding

• Pneumonia

• Sepsis

These complications are more likely to develop if one has pneumonic tularemia or typhoidal tularemia.

I guess, there is no need to speak about plague, we all know bubonic plague and its consequences and this disease still exists and still poses a threat, as there is no effective vaccine (it is distributed very locally, and it doesn’t form long-term immunity) treatment is still very complicated.

The launch itself, of course, is impressive. Power, strength, a throw weight of over 10 tons... and from 3-4 PKB 15Y71 (or more - other, more compact ones) and up to ... unguided bombs (but definitely not 10 of them, but much more - there are no restrictions now, but we won't speculate on the number here, otherwise we might guess it😳). UB bombs, as an option of equipping - are also possible. As well as "light" or "heavy" monoblocks. If needed... For ... a hundred megatons. For the 15A18M, a "light" monoblock is available.
