A few months ago, I introduced a major usability update to Easy Pivot Point. The aim was to make it easier to see where the current market price was trading relative to important pivot levels.

Since then, I have continued refining the app.

The latest changes are smaller, but they address something that matters when you are checking multiple markets: how quickly can you get the information you need?

Instead of requiring you to open or expand individual instruments to see the nearby levels, Easy Pivot Point now puts more of that information directly on the main screen.

You can open the app, scan through the instruments you are interested in, and immediately see where the current price sits in relation to nearby pivot, support and resistance levels.

Key Levels Without the Extra Tap

In the previous update, tapping an instrument expanded its card to show the current price together with the two nearest pivot levels.

It worked well, but when checking several instruments, it still meant opening them individually.

That extra step is no longer necessary.

The latest version displays the relevant levels directly on the instrument card.

For example, if a market is trading above R3, you can immediately see the current price together with the nearby R2 and R3 levels. If it is below S3, the current price and nearby support levels are displayed in the same way.

The position of the Now marker also gives you a simple visual indication of where the current price is trading relative to those levels.

This makes it easier to scan several markets without repeatedly opening and closing cards.

Understanding What You Are Looking At

If you are new to Easy Pivot Point, the app is designed around a fairly simple idea.

Pivot points are price levels calculated from previous market data. The main Pivot Point is accompanied by resistance levels above it, normally labelled R1, R2 and R3, and support levels below it, labelled S1, S2 and S3.

Traders can use these levels as reference points when examining current price action. They don’t tell you what the market will do next, but they can help provide context for where the market is currently trading.

Easy Pivot Point does the calculations and organises this information across multiple instruments for you.

Take EURTRY in the screenshot above as an example.

The app tells us:

Price is trading above R3 resistance.

The current price is 55.99010, while R3 is at 55.69068 and R2 is at 55.63268.

You don’t need to calculate anything yourself. More importantly, you don’t need to interpret a long table of numbers just to work out where the price currently sits.

The TRYJPY example immediately below it shows the opposite situation. Its current price is below S3 support.

These aren’t buy or sell signals. They are simply useful pieces of market information that you can investigate further as part of your own analysis.

Find an Instrument Faster

Another simple addition is the new search bar.

Easy Pivot Point covers instruments across different categories, including forex, indices, commodities and cryptocurrencies. As the number of instruments grows, scrolling through a long list becomes less convenient.

You can now type the name or symbol of the instrument you are looking for and go directly to it.

This is particularly useful when you already know what you want to examine. Instead of browsing through the entire list, search for the instrument and check its current position against the relevant pivot levels.

You can also use the category tabs at the top of the screen when you want to browse a particular market, such as Forex, Indices or Commodities.

A Simple Way to Use Easy Pivot Point

If you are opening the app for the first time, you don’t need to monitor every pivot level or every instrument.

One simple approach is to start with the timeframe you are interested in and scan the instruments you normally follow.

Look at the description on each card to see where the current price is trading. Then look at the Now marker and the nearby levels for more context.

If something catches your attention, you can then investigate that market in more detail using your usual charts and other analysis tools.

Easy Pivot Point also supports H1, H4, Daily, Weekly and Monthly pivot levels, so you can examine the market from different time perspectives.

And if there is a particular pivot level you want to keep track of, the bell icon provides access to the app’s alert functionality.

The purpose of the app isn’t to tell you what to trade. It is to make pivot information easier to monitor so you can decide what deserves a closer look.

Continuing to Refine the App

This update isn’t a major redesign like the one I released earlier this year. It is the result of continuing to use and refine the new interface after that release.

Sometimes improving an app is simply about removing one unnecessary tap, putting a useful number in a better place, or making something easier to find.

Displaying the nearby levels directly on each card and adding search are relatively small changes, but I think they make Easy Pivot Point noticeably more convenient when checking multiple markets.

If you already have Easy Pivot Point installed, update to the latest version and give the new layout a try.

And if you haven’t opened the app for a while, this is a good opportunity to take another look. The way you scan and find pivot information has become considerably simpler since the earlier versions of the app.

There are many currency pairs you could watch in the forex market.

The challenge is deciding which ones deserve your attention.

One way to narrow down the list is to compare the relative strength of individual currencies. If one currency is showing strong relative strength while another is considerably weaker, the pair formed by those two currencies may be worth taking a closer look at.

This has always been one of the main ideas behind Easy Currency Strength.

With the latest update, a new Pairs to Watch feature makes this comparison much easier.

Start with Currency Strength

Easy Currency Strength measures the relative strength of the eight major currencies:

USD, EUR, GBP, JPY, CHF, CAD, AUD and NZD.

The app compares them across eight different timeframes:

M5, M15, M30, H1, H4, D1, W1 and MN1.

Instead of looking at a currency in isolation, you can see how it ranks against the other major currencies on a particular timeframe.

This is important because forex always involves two currencies.

When trading a currency pair, you are effectively comparing the strength of one currency against another.

Strong Versus Weak

Suppose CAD has a strength value of +8, while USD has a strength value of -12.

The difference between them is:

8 - (-12) = 20

We refer to this difference as the strength gap.

A gap of 20 tells us that there is a considerable difference in relative strength between CAD and USD at that particular moment and timeframe.

That doesn’t mean CAD/USD should automatically be traded.

It simply tells us something useful: these two currencies are behaving very differently from each other.

That makes the pair potentially more interesting to investigate than a pair where both currencies have similar strength.

For example, if EUR has a strength of +6 and CHF also has a strength of +6, their strength gap is zero. Neither currency is showing a strength advantage over the other based on this measurement.

Given a choice between dozens of possible pairs, looking at the larger differences can therefore be a useful way to narrow down your search.

Introducing Pairs to Watch

Previously, you could already do this with Easy Currency Strength by looking at the strength chart and comparing the currencies yourself.

The new Pairs to Watch feature does that initial comparison for you.

For each timeframe, Easy Currency Strength compares the strength values of the currencies and calculates the gap for valid currency pairs.

Pairs with a strength gap of 12 or greater can qualify for Pairs to Watch.

The app then displays up to three pairs with the largest strength differences for that timeframe.

For example, imagine the following:

CAD: +12
USD: -12

The strength gap would be:

12 - (-12) = 24

This is a substantial difference, so CAD/USD could appear under Pairs to Watch.

Instead of manually comparing every currency on the chart, you can immediately see which pairs currently have some of the largest strength differences.

What Does a Large Strength Gap Tell You?

Think of the strength gap as a way of measuring the difference between two currencies.

The larger the gap, the greater the difference in their relative strength according to the app’s calculation.

This can be useful because traders often look for situations where one side of a currency pair is stronger than the other.

But there is an important distinction:

Pairs to Watch are not buy or sell signals.

A large strength gap doesn’t tell you where to enter a trade, and it doesn’t guarantee that the current movement will continue.

Instead, think of Pairs to Watch as a shortlist for further analysis.

Once you find an interesting pair, you can examine its price chart and use your usual analysis to decide whether there is actually a setup worth considering.

You may want to look at factors such as the current trend, support and resistance, price action or other technical indicators you normally use.

Currency strength helps answer:

“Which pairs might be worth looking at?”

Your further analysis still needs to answer:

“Is there actually a trading setup here?”

Sometimes There Is Nothing to Watch

There is another useful aspect of Pairs to Watch that may be easy to overlook.

Sometimes no pair will qualify.

If none of the valid currency pairs has a strength gap of at least 12 on a particular timeframe, Easy Currency Strength will tell you that there is currently no strong divergence.

That isn’t a failure to find an opportunity.

It is information.

If most currencies are relatively close in strength, there may simply be less differentiation between them at that moment.

Rather than trying to find a pair to trade simply because you are looking at the market, you can see immediately that the strength readings are not highlighting anything particularly significant on that timeframe.

You can then check another timeframe or wait for conditions to change.

A Faster Way to Narrow Down the Market

The purpose of Pairs to Watch is not to predict what happens next.

It is to make currency strength more practical.

Instead of scanning all the currencies and manually working out which combinations have the largest differences, the app highlights them for you.

A simple workflow could be:

1. Choose the timeframe that matters to you.

2. Look at the strongest and weakest currencies.

3. Check Pairs to Watch for the largest strength gaps.

4. Select an interesting pair.

5. Examine its chart and perform your usual analysis.

6. Decide whether the market conditions meet your own criteria.

This turns currency strength into a filtering tool rather than a standalone trading signal.

A Refreshed Dashboard

The latest version of Easy Currency Strength also introduces a refreshed dashboard designed to make the rankings easier to read.

For every timeframe, the currencies are arranged from weakest to strongest.

Free users can immediately see the weakest and strongest currency for each timeframe, making it easy to get a quick overview of the market.

Subscribers can view the complete currency ranking, allowing them to see how all eight currencies compare.

Tap a timeframe to open its strength chart, where you can see the individual strength values together with the new Pairs to Watch section.

One More Tool for Deciding Where to Look

With many possible currency pairs available, finding somewhere to start can sometimes be harder than analysing the chart itself.

Currency strength provides one way to reduce that search.

The new Pairs to Watch feature takes this a step further by automatically highlighting pairs where the difference in relative strength is currently more significant.

It won’t tell you what to trade.

But it can help answer an important question:

“Which pairs might be worth my attention right now?”

And sometimes, when there is no strong divergence at all, knowing that can be just as useful.

With the latest update, Easy Market Analyzer can now notify you automatically when a new market condition is detected.

Instead of checking the app throughout the day, the app can now let you know when something worth your attention appears.

Alerts Based on Your Trading Style

Not every trader defines market conditions the same way.

Some traders prefer a more aggressive RSI level, while others may want stricter confirmation from indicators such as the Stochastic Oscillator, CCI, MFI, or DeMarker.

This update respects those preferences.

Every notification is generated using your own settings, not a fixed set of values chosen by the app.

If you customise your indicator thresholds, those same settings are used when deciding whether an alert should be sent.

This means the notifications match your own trading style rather than someone else’s.

Only Receive the Alerts You Want

You are also in complete control of which market conditions generate notifications.

You can independently enable or disable alerts for:

• Overbought

• Oversold

• Uptrend

• Downtrend

For example, if you are only looking for trend-following opportunities, you can enable Uptrend and Downtrend notifications while leaving Overbought and Oversold turned off.

The app only notifies you about the market conditions that matter to you.

Alerts Are Triggered Only for Strong Market Conditions

To help reduce unnecessary notifications, Easy Market Analyzer only sends an alert when an instrument enters a Strong market condition.

This means the notification is generated when the market first reaches a stronger level of technical confirmation, rather than repeatedly notifying you while the instrument remains in the same state.

The goal is to highlight meaningful changes without overwhelming you with alerts.

How to Configure Your Alerts

Setting up alerts only takes a few seconds.

1. Open any of the four market condition pages:

   • Overbought

   • Oversold

   • Uptrend

   • Downtrend

   

2. Tap the Settings (gear) icon in the top right corner.

3. Enable or disable notifications for that market condition.

4. Adjust the indicator thresholds if you wish.

Once saved, Easy Market Analyzer will use those settings whenever it scans the markets.

Whether you prefer earlier signals or more conservative confirmation, the alerts will follow your preferences.

Because this feature requires continuous market scanning and notification delivery, customizable alerts are available exclusively to subscribers.

Subscribers also gain access to indicator threshold customisation, allowing the alerts to better reflect their own trading strategy.

If you’ve been learning technical analysis, you’ve probably come across the terms overbought and oversold. They appear in many books, videos, and trading courses. Indicators such as the Relative Strength Index (RSI), Stochastic Oscillator, and Williams %R all use these concepts to help traders understand how strongly price has been moving.

Many beginners make the same assumption.

“If the market is overbought, I should sell.”

“If the market is oversold, I should buy.”

It sounds simple and logical.

However, the market doesn’t always behave that way.

Understanding what these indicators are actually telling you can help you avoid one of the most common mistakes made by new traders.

What Does “Overbought” Really Mean?

An overbought reading simply tells you that price has risen quickly compared to its recent history.

For example:

• RSI above 70 is commonly considered overbought.

• Williams %R above -20 is often considered overbought.

• Stochastic above 80 is also considered overbought.

Notice something important.

None of these readings tells you that price must fall next.

They simply indicate that buying momentum has been strong.

Strong momentum can sometimes lead to a pullback. At other times, it can continue much longer than most traders expect.

What Does “Oversold” Really Mean?

An oversold reading is the opposite.

It tells you that price has fallen quickly over a relatively short period.

Some common examples include:

• RSI below 30.

• Williams %R below -80.

• Stochastic below 20.

Again, these readings do not guarantee that price is about to reverse.

If selling pressure remains strong, price can continue falling while the indicator stays oversold.

Why Strong Trends Can Stay Overbought or Oversold

This is where many beginners get caught.

Imagine a currency pair enters a strong uptrend.

The RSI moves above 70.

A beginner sees the overbought signal and decides to sell.

Instead of reversing, buyers continue pushing the market higher.

Price keeps climbing.

The RSI stays above 70 for several days, or even weeks.

The trader who sold too early may miss the trend or be stopped out as price continues rising.

The same thing can happen during a strong downtrend.

An indicator may remain oversold while price keeps making new lows.

This happens because momentum indicators measure the strength of recent price movement. They do not predict exactly when a trend will end.

Market Conditions Make a Big Difference

The same indicator can give very different results depending on the type of market.

In a Trending Market

When a strong trend is already in place:

• An overbought reading often reflects strong buying momentum.

• An oversold reading often reflects strong selling momentum.

Instead of expecting an immediate reversal, experienced traders often wait for a pullback before looking for opportunities in the direction of the trend.

In many cases, an overbought reading confirms that buyers are still in control rather than warning that the trend is over.

In a Sideways Market

Now imagine price has been moving between support and resistance without a clear trend.

In this situation:

• Overbought readings near resistance may have a better chance of leading to a pullback.

• Oversold readings near support may have a better chance of leading to a bounce.

This happens because price is moving within a range instead of trending strongly in one direction.

Don’t Rely on Just One Indicator

One of the biggest mistakes beginners make is treating overbought and oversold readings as automatic buy or sell signals.

Instead, combine them with other forms of analysis.

Consider looking at:

• The overall market trend.

• Support and resistance levels.

• Chart patterns.

• Price action.

• Multiple timeframes.

When several pieces of information point in the same direction, your analysis becomes much stronger than relying on a single indicator alone.

Think of These Signals as a Warning

A useful way to think about overbought and oversold readings is to compare them to a car travelling at high speed.

Just because a car is moving fast doesn’t mean it has to stop immediately.

It may continue travelling at the same speed for quite some time.

The same idea applies to the market.

An overbought reading tells you buying momentum has been strong.

An oversold reading tells you selling momentum has been strong.

Neither one tells you exactly when price will reverse.

The market decides when momentum begins to slow.

There is also a search function, so you can quickly find the indicator you want without scrolling through the full list.

Focus on the Instruments That Matter

Inside each indicator, you will see the list of instruments available.

Just like the indicators, you can now filter instruments as well. This allows you to narrow down your watchlist and focus only on the pairs you actually trade.

This small change makes a big difference when you are scanning across multiple timeframes.

Faster Alerts Without Extra Steps

One of the biggest improvements is how alerts are handled.

You no longer need to go into another page just to set an alert.

You can now simply tap on the bell icon under each instrument and timeframe to enable or disable alerts instantly.

This keeps everything in one place and reduces unnecessary steps.

Do note that alerts are now available exclusively for subscribers. This allows us to continue improving the alert system while keeping it reliable.

A More Flexible Dashboard

The Dashboard is where everything comes together.

To begin, tap on the Filter button to select the instruments you want to monitor. There is now a search function here as well, so you can quickly locate specific instruments.

Once added, each instrument becomes its own workspace.

You can tap on an instrument to choose which indicators you want to associate with it. This means you are no longer limited to viewing just one indicator at a time.

You can now monitor multiple indicators for the same instrument, all in one place.

This makes it easier to confirm signals and reduces the need to switch between screens.

Alerts+ – Custom Alerts with More Control

Alerts+ is designed for users who want more flexibility.

This is different from the standard alerts and requires a separate subscription.

With Alerts+, you can create custom alerts by adjusting indicator settings to suit your own preferences.

For example, instead of using the default RSI period like 7 or 14, you can choose your own period and define your own overbought and oversold levels.

You can also control how alerts are triggered, such as triggering only after a candle closes.

This gives you more control over how and when you receive signals.

Strategies – Ready-to-Use Signal Ideas

The Strategies page is designed to help you spot potential setups without overcomplicating things.

Currently, there are two strategies available:

Multi-Timeframe RSI

This looks at RSI values across multiple timeframes.

Instead of relying on a single timeframe, you can see whether the momentum is aligned across short-term and higher timeframes.

When multiple timeframes move in the same direction, it can give you a clearer picture of the overall market bias.

RSI Divergence

This focuses on situations where price and RSI are moving in opposite directions.

For example, price may be making higher highs while RSI is weakening. This can sometimes indicate that the current move is losing strength.

Both strategies are designed to help you spot potential opportunities faster, without needing to manually check every chart.

More strategies will be added over time.

Top Movers – A Quick View of Market Movement

The Top Movers page gives you a quick overview of how the market is moving.

You can sort instruments based on different timeframes such as 1-day, 2-day, or more.

This allows you to quickly identify:

• Which pairs are gaining strength

• Which pairs are weakening

• Where momentum is building

Instead of scanning charts one by one, you can use this page to narrow down your focus to a few key instruments.

Most traders are not staring at every pivot level all the time. What they really want is a quick answer to a simple question:

Where is price trading right now relative to the pivot levels?

After watching how the app has been used over the years, I decided it was time to refine the interface. This update focuses on clarity, faster scanning, and making important information easier to understand at a glance.

This is not a completely new app. The core idea remains the same. But the experience has been refined to better match how traders actually work.

A Quick Refresher: What Are Pivot Points?

Pivot points are widely used in technical analysis to identify potential support and resistance levels.

They are calculated using the high, low, and close of the previous trading period. From this calculation, several levels are derived:

• Pivot Point (P)

• Resistance levels: R1, R2, R3

• Support levels: S1, S2, S3

Many traders watch these levels to understand where price may react, pause, or reverse.

If price trades above the pivot point, sentiment is often considered bullish.

If price trades below it, sentiment may be bearish.

Because these levels are widely followed, they often become areas where the market pays attention.

Why the Interface Needed Refinement

The previous version of the app showed pivot levels clearly, but the interface required users to read more information than necessary before understanding what was happening.

When you are scanning many instruments, even small friction can slow you down.

Some of the feedback and observations were:

• Traders wanted to quickly see where price is relative to key levels

• Important instruments should stand out visually

• Alerts should be easier to manage

• The interface should make it easier to scan many instruments quickly

This update focuses on solving those small usability issues.

Cleaner Instrument Cards

Each instrument now appears in a cleaner card layout that summarizes the current situation.

Instead of showing too many numbers immediately, the card tells you something simple like:

Price is trading above the Pivot Point.

This makes it much easier to scan multiple instruments quickly.

A small priority indicator dot now highlights instruments that are approaching more important pivot levels.

Expandable Pivot Ladder

If you want more detail, simply tap on the instrument card.

The card expands to reveal a small pivot ladder showing:

• The two nearest pivot levels

• The current price

• A clearer view of nearby support and resistance

This keeps the main screen clean while still allowing quick access to the numbers when needed.

Improved Alert System

Alerts have also been simplified.

Each instrument card now includes a bell icon. Tapping it allows you to configure alerts for that instrument.

You can choose to be notified when price interacts with specific pivot levels such as:

• R1

• R2

• R3

• Pivot Point

• S1

• S2

• S3

This allows the app to quietly monitor the market for you.

Multi-Timeframe Pivot Analysis

Pivot points can behave differently depending on the timeframe being used.

Easy Pivot Point supports multiple timeframes so traders can view pivot levels across:

• H1

• H4

• Daily

• Weekly

• Monthly

This allows you to compare shorter-term levels with longer-term pivot structures.

More Flexible Access for Free Users

I also wanted to make the app more accessible for traders who are exploring pivot analysis.

In this update:

• The Daily timeframe is now fully accessible

• Other timeframes (H1, H4, Weekly, Monthly) can be temporarily unlocked by watching a rewarded ad

This allows users to explore the full functionality of the app without immediately committing to a subscription.

Most economic calendars try to show everything. They list every event, every currency, every data point, all in one long stream. While this looks thorough, it often becomes hard to use in practice.

When markets are active and decisions need to be made quickly, too much information can slow traders down instead of helping them.

At EasyIndicators, we have been paying close attention to how traders actually use the economic calendar during live market conditions. What stood out was that clarity matters more than quantity. When time is limited, traders are not trying to read everything. They are trying to identify what matters most, as quickly as possible.

That insight led to a redesign of the economic calendar view across our apps.

The new calendar is structured to be easier to scan. Events are grouped into meaningful categories such as central bank and policy decisions, trade and external data, and general economic events. This makes it easier to understand the context of each release without having to mentally sort through a long list.

We also changed how event impact is shown. Instead of relying on dots, icons, or abstract indicators, the calendar now uses clear text to describe impact. This removes ambiguity and reduces the need to remember what different symbols mean. The information is direct and readable at a glance.

One of the most practical additions is the pinned “Next high-impact event” at the top of the calendar. This helps traders immediately identify the most important upcoming release without scanning the entire day. During busy trading sessions, this small change can make it much easier to stay focused.

The overall aim of the redesign is to reduce unnecessary visual noise and make the calendar quicker to use. With less clutter, traders can scan faster and spend more time thinking about their decisions rather than interpreting the interface. The calendar now serves more as a guide through the trading day, rather than a raw list of data.

This update is part of an ongoing effort to improve how information is presented, not by adding more features, but by making existing information easier to understand and act on. We will continue to observe how traders use the calendar and make adjustments where it genuinely improves usability.

Today marks ten years since EasyIndicators first started. I didn’t begin with a huge plan or a big team. It was just one small app I built after work, hoping to make technical indicators a little easier for beginners to understand.

Over the years, this project grew steadily. In the later years, I left my full-time job so I could focus on EasyIndicators and build tools that stay true to this vision. Whether you joined during the early days or discovered the apps recently, thank you for being here.

The idea of Easy

The whole idea of EasyIndicators has always been simple:

make your decision-making faster and easier.

If we cannot make sense of the information in front of us, how can we even make a decision in the first place? Charts move quickly, and beginners often feel lost when they see too many lines and signals at once. My goal has always been to remove confusion, highlight what matters, and present it in a way that lets you take action with confidence.

As we move forward into the next year, the next five years, or even the next ten, this spirit will remain the same. I want to continue removing ambiguity, yet still give you the freedom to follow your own trading preferences.

Trading is personal. Everyone has their own goals, the level of profit they’re comfortable with, and the losses they are willing to accept. There is no single formula that works for everyone.

This is why EasyIndicators will never promise “sure-win” results. Please stay away from tools that do. What I hope to give you is a small edge - clarity, speed, and a better understanding of what the market is doing across different timeframes.

I’m currently reviewing the interface across many of the apps, updating older designs, and exploring new tools that can help you understand market movement more naturally. Over the next year, you can expect:

Over the past day, some Android users have written in to let me know that they are unable to subscribe or renew their subscriptions. Most of them are seeing the error code “OR-FGEMF-20” when trying to complete the payment.

I want to assure you that I am already in contact with Google Play about this. Based on everything I am seeing so far, this appears to be a payment processing issue on Google’s side, and it is affecting both new subscriptions and renewals.

Your access remains safe.

If you are an existing subscriber on Android, your current access will not be removed. The issue only affects new payments going through. Once Google resolves the problem, renewals and new subscriptions should process normally again.

I understand how frustrating it is when you are trying to subscribe or renew and the system blocks you. Thank you for your patience while I work closely with Google Play to get this sorted out.

Greater Control with Williams %R

The latest update to the Easy Dashboard app gives traders more flexibility when setting their Williams %R thresholds. You can now set the overbought level up to -5 and the oversold level down to -95.

This improvement allows users to fine-tune their analysis to match different trading styles and market conditions.

For those new to the indicator, the Williams %R is a momentum oscillator that helps identify potential turning points in the market. It compares the current price to the highest high and lowest low over a given period, usually 14 bars.

Values closer to -100 indicate that the market is oversold, while readings near 0 suggest overbought conditions. Traders often use this information to spot possible entry or exit points, especially when combined with other indicators for confirmation.

Clearer Signals with Tenkan Sen

This update also introduces color differentiation for weak and strong Tenkan Sen signals, making it easier to interpret strength at a glance.

The Tenkan Sen, or conversion line, is an important part of the Ichimoku Kinko Hyo system. It represents the short-term equilibrium of price movement by averaging the highest high and lowest low over a shorter period, typically nine bars.

When the Tenkan Sen crosses above the Kijun Sen, it can indicate upward momentum. When it crosses below, it may point to bearish pressure. Differentiating between weak and strong signals helps traders gauge the quality of these crossovers and avoid reacting to minor fluctuations.
