Let Daejon Play!

This guy is incredible — he managed to scam 26 women out of $1.3 million with only a custom football helmet and a dream. I don’t know a lot about how fantasy football points work, but that’s got to be worth something!

On Tuesday, the world and those 26 women found out that Daejon Love was not in fact a multi-millionaire wide receiver on the San Fransisco 49ers, but rather a 35 year old scammer. A scammer, sure. But also a storyteller.

Love had a whole backstory going, complete with social media accounts that showed him running drills on the beach and driving to the 49ers practice facility, always in a $1,200 custom 49ers helmet or decked out in Niners gear. You know, regular football guy stuff.

Love met all these women on dating apps, where he claimed to be from one of the wealthiest families in Switzerland. Who amongst us?

He told them that he joined the NFL as an undrafted free agent, ultimately signing a contract with the 49ers. And to prove it, he posted a video to his Instagram of him signing a contract in his apartment. I mean, you cannot argue with that! He literally said he was signing with the 49ers in the video … what more do you need?

His online presence was so prolific that when you googled him, Google’s AI summary said that he was in fact an undrafted NFL free agent. Replace me now, AI! You’re ready to lead.

When the women would ask why he wasn’t playing, Love had a story for that too. As luck would have it, he broke his pinky finger right before the season was supposed to start, so he had to heal. But as soon as that finger recovered, he was going to be out on that field. Until then, Love was staying in shape and making investments. And wouldn’t the women like to be a part of those investments?

To help with his scams, Love employed 18 year old Taylor Jamie Chan, who would send Love fake investment opportunities, which Love would then screenshot and pass on to the women. Chan would then hop on a FaceTime with Love and their target to talk through the investments, pushing them to put money into fake accounts.

I’m sorry, but if you think these men could give you good financial advice, maybe you deserved to be scammed.

Like, Chan’s got acne and he looks like he just got his braces off. Be so for real right now.

The two were arrested at the Boise Airport this week and charged with wire fraud. Since then, more women have come forward to talk about their experiences meeting and being defrauded by Daejon Love. Ladies, if you are in line to share your story, please stay in line — if I know one thing in this world, it’s that your day on a Netflix documentary is coming.

But these women are not alone — in 2022, the FTC reported that 70,000 Americans fell victim to online scams. And online dating scams were especially prevalent as scammers worked to groom victims before inventing some financial crisis or fake incentive. Dating scams leverage intimacy, guilt, and shame to create conditions where people are coerced into giving over money or risk the person cutting off the connection. I guess what I’m saying is — if you’re dating a sports ball player you met online, at least go to a game and watch them play before you give them some cash.

Of all his scams, I think Daejon will be remembered most for his turkey giveaway —

Fake investments are one thing, but convincing women that you need their money to give out turkeys to needy families over the holidays is on another level.

Also — Daejon, you made $1.3 million. You couldn’t at least use some of that to actually buy some turkeys? That’s fucked up, and I think you know that.

Lindsay Clancy Trial Updates

I don’t know how, but after six days of deliberation, the jury in Lindsay Clancy’s trial remains deadlocked. Best guess — the three men on the jury think she did it. Or one of those women were blinded by the prosecutor’s hair bows and couldn’t see the evidence laid out before them.

On Wednesday afternoon, the jury handed Judge Sullivan its second deadlock notice, alerting him that they could not reach a unanimous decision regarding Clancy’s charges. If they come back one more time with a deadlock notice, Judge Sullivan will likely declare a mistrial. And we do this whole thing again.

As a reminder, the prosecution is seeking a first-degree murder conviction, which would require Lindsay to have understood what she was doing at the time of the children were killed. Her attorney is arguing that Lindsay was suffering from postpartum psychosis at the time of the murders and therefore lacked the mens rea for first-degree murder.

He’s also laid in pieces of evidence that, to me, call Lindsay’s guilt into question. The prosecution must prove she did this beyond a reasonable doubt. And there are some odd pieces about Patrick’s testimony that I believe undercut that standard of proof.

And Internet agrees with me! I think one reason Sullivan is pushing the jury so hard to make a decision is because he understands that this case has taken on a life of its own online. These jurors have been instructed not to take in outside information about this case, but I don’t believe that another jury would be able to do the same thing. We’ve all been exposed to the theories behind what really happened here — I doubt another trial would be as clean as this one.

One other option — the jury could come back with a lesser charge of second-degree murder or manslaughter. Here’s hoping we get a decision too. I know I’d cave! And perhaps that’s why I’ve never been asked to be on a jury…

Love Island Reunion

Season 8 of Love Island concluded this week with the final cast reunion (lololol jkjk they still have to film a whole other show, “After the Villa.” Capitalism stops for no man). Like the rest of the season, the men largely escaped judgment while the women tore each other apart. Just as Project 2025 intended.

More than other seasons, the women of the villa seemed determined to couple up as soon as possible, even if their partners were less than ideal. Of the final four couples, three had paired off in the first few days in the villa. Even when they expressed concerns about their partners to each other or, as with movie night, when the depths of their partner’s betrayal was on full display, the women still encouraged each other to stick it out with their bargain basement men (looking at you, Aniya).

And they didn’t just encourage each other to stay in toxic relationships — they shamed and policed each other into fidelity, despite the fact that fidelity was not warranted. Take Kenzie, for example, who was called “lustful” for exploring multiple connections (aka being on Love Island). All the women, but especially Kayda, called Kenzie out for kissing Corbin after being re-coupled with Caleb. Kenzie was forced to defend herself on the show and at the reunion, while the men she explored with (Corbin and later, Gal) were spared from scrutiny.

I mention Kayda specifically because of her behavior on the show and during the reunion. On the show, Kayda pulled Kenzie for a chat after movie night to confront her, comparing Kenzie to Sincere. Kenzie kissed two different guys when she wasn’t in a closed off relationship. Sincere lied to two women at the same time—telling them the exact same things, calling them the same pet name, and swearing he had feelings for both, only to go back to Melanie and leave Sol wondering what the fuck just happened. I fear that is not the same. But to Kayda’s Gen Z puritanical mind, I guess it is.

At the reunion, Kayda similarly shamed another islander, Jaiden, for sleeping with Caleb while they weren’t in a relationship. During the reunion, Jaiden confronted Caleb for not being honest with her about his feelings post-villa. She brought up the fact that Caleb slept with her and then texted afterwards to say that he didn’t have the time management skills to be in a relationship. Lol girl, get a planner. But I digress.

As Jaiden was talking to Caleb, Kayda decided to pop in and blame Jaiden for not getting clarity from Caleb regarding their relationship status before they slept together. That is RICH coming from Kayda, who is still in a situationship with Zach, even though he swore up and down that they’d be boyfriend and girlfriend as soon as they got out of the villa.

Kayda is having sex with her partner without relationship clarity, but expects to be applauded for it. Her partner who withheld affection when she talked to another Islander. Her partner who made cool jokes in the villa, like pretending to say “I love you.” Her partner who, according to Kayda herself, has not taken her on a solo date post-villa. That’s the relationship that she thinks gives her the authority to shame another woman for her choices.

To be clear, no relationship gives you that authority. But I guess living in a panopticon of Mark Zuckerberg’s creation really makes you feel like you can judge anyone who doesn’t meet your purity standard. Because that’s what this is — purity culture rebranded for the digital age. Gen Z dating trends suggest that they are dating less and having less sex than previous generations. For Gen Z, relationship stakes seem higher — after all, having a relationship you can post about has, in many ways, become a status symbol.

And for some, like apparently Kayda, it makes them feel like they can call out others who are not falling in line with that relationship or nothing purity standard. Luckily, Tierra was there at the reunion to call out Kayda’s hypocrisy. But Tierra, I must tell you that KC sucks just as much as Zach, even though he calls you his girlfriend. And also, I’m sorry to say this, but whoever did your eye makeup is not a friend.

In conclusion, this season was a red pill that was hard to swallow. Here’s hoping these women make some changes as their frontal lobes continue to develop and break it off with these shit men.

Goodbye, Sweet Dolly

Dolly Parton passed away on Tuesday after a short battle with cancer, leaving behind a world that she changed for the better.

Born and raised near the Great Smoky Mountains, Dolly was one of 12 children, raised by a sharecropper dad and a stay at home mom in a one-bedroom cabin. She started singing when she was six in the church choir; her Uncle Bill, a fellow songwriter, encouraged her and guided her early career. She made her first radio appearance at 10 and recorded her first single at 13.

Dolly wrote songs for other artists until, at 21, she released her first LP, Hello, I’m Dolly. That same year, Porter Wagoner (may he burn in hell), invited Dolly on his weekly television show. From there, Dolly’s career exploded. She wrote “Coat of Many Colors,” “I Will Always Love You,” and the GOAT of all GOATs, “Jolene.”

Dolly left the Porter Wagoner show to start producing her own recordings. In 1980, she co-starred in 9 to 5 and wrote the movie’s theme song. She was robbed of an Oscar, both for the song and for the iconic line “If you ever say another word about me or make another indecent proposal, I’m gonna get that gun of mine, and I’m gonna change you from a rooster to a hen with one shot.” Get your house in order, the Academy.

Dolly won 11 Grammys, an Emmy, and the Oscars’ Humanitarian Award, but she always said that her greatest achievement was her Imagination Library.

Founded in 1995, the program mailed a free book every month to children under five in Sevier County, Tennessee, the same county she grew up in. Today, the program has a presence in all 50 states and has sent more than 300 million books to children. A study conducted last year found that kids enrolled in the program were four times more likely to demonstrate stronger emerging reading skills.

Oh, and her $1 million donation was the key to developing the Moderna COVID vaccine. So thank you for my life and child literacy, DP.

Dolly was an icon whose guiding principal was how she made people feel. She changed the name of “Dixie Stampede” when she realized it hurt some fans. She was a staunch advocate for the LGBTQ+ community and embraced every person she met. If you’ve never listened to the podcast, Dolly Parton’s America, I can’t recommend it enough. Even if you have, it’s worth another listen.

Dolly was a beautiful person whose songs and kindness will be missed around the world. She lived by example, following her own advice — “dream more, learn more, care more, and be more.”

I’ll try, Dolly. Also, deepest apologies for the rest of this Stack because I am definitely not leading with kindness moving forward. But I will always love you.

Phia? More Like “Phraud”

Phoebe Gates, I’m going to hold your hand when I say this — you’re an absolute moron.

Why in the world would you go to work just to commit fraud and potentially end up in prison? Did you think having a job was cute? Because it isn’t. Jobs keep us all from pursuing our interests — do you know how behind I am on TV? I have a job because, apparently, I need income to survive. But please believe that if my father was Bill Gates (1) we’re not talking because he gave my mom an STD that he got on Jeffrey Epstein’s island, and (2) I’m not working a day in my life. Sure, I’ll go on some humanitarian trips with the foundation, kiss some babies. But I’m not spending my life sending emails.

And I’m certainly not creating an AI shopping app that jacked up its value by taking credit for sales that it didn’t drive. But that’s what Phoebe did when she and her college roommate, Sophia Kianni, realized Phia wasn’t making enough money nine months after its launch.

Phia, a “personal shopping assistant,” launched in April 2025. The app helped users get the lowest possible price while online shopping. At checkout, Phia would find discount codes, and after the sale, it would earn a commission from the retailer for helping drive business.

When I heard that, I asked “how is this different from Honey, the app extension that holds coupon codes and never seems to find me a f*cking deal anymore?” It isn’t! Honey is under investigation for the same shit — alleged cookie stuffing.

Cookies are necessary for affiliate marketing businesses like Phia to get credit for sales. When a shopper intentionally interacts with the affiliate by clicking on its referral link or using its suggested coupon, a cookie with a unique tracking identifier is dropped as proof that the affiliate helped make the sale. But Phia was dropping cookies without any user interaction. The app would automatically open a background tab when users were shopping, overriding any other affiliate links. Sorry to TikTok content creators.

Phia initially claimed that the cookie stuffing was due to a bug in its code, but Slack messages from back in December 2025 show that Phoebe asked her engineers to create the cookie stuffing feature on the app.

Listen, I’ve sent my fair share of egregious Slack messages, but even I have never asked someone to commit fraud for me on a company server. That’s an in-person conversation. Gen Z, you cannot be afraid to pick up the phone and call people!

Phoebe and Sophia both wanted to confirm that even if users didn’t interact with the app, a cookie would still be dropped when the Phia box popped up. Even closing the pop up would drop a tacking cookie — something their engineers told them was “against compliance” and “violated Chrome Extension policies.”

What’s more, Phia developed a feature that automatically dropped cookies every two hours on any top 1000 website where a user had previously used Phia, giving them a higher chance of winning affiliate commissions.

All of this helped (falsely) inflate Phia’s value. In June of this year, the company raised $35.5 million in series A funding, which gives investors an equity stake in the company. Fellow grifters like Khloe Kardashian, Jay Shetty, and Sydney Sweeney all made investments in Phia. Money that is now being used to pay back retailers. Good thing it didn’t go to charities!

Now that Phia has been forced to disable the cookie stuffing features, its daily revenue has dropped from $80k to around $10-$28k. One Phia data scientist estimated that the illegal features accounted for 51% of Phia’s merchandise value in June.

The company will need to pay back additional commissions as internal investigations continue. And if we had any kind of government, Phoebe and Sophia would be in deep shit. I’m not holding out hope that they’ll face trial or even a fine for their white collar crimes, but maybe this will serve as a cautionary tale for other nepo babies to just stay home and catch up on reality TV.

Speaking of which, Harry Jowsey oof

Now I see why this man spent five minutes telling all the contestants on “Let’s Marry Harry” how much he had changed. Spoiler — he has not.

After “marrying” Amber Mozo on the reality TV show (where they only had a MONTH to date), Harry revealed during the finale last night that he and Amber are no longer together. Sir, a blind dog could have told me that.

The two ended their relationship just two months after their TV wedding. While Harry said that they just didn’t see eye to eye, Amber went OFF on the reunion. She said:

You’re untruthful. You were buying me a house. You [were] fucking reaching out to Dannelle. Harry, everyone has watched you lie and lie and lie. We’re sick of it. Don’t waste my fucking time. We’re here to talk. Even with those glasses, you can’t see clearly. You’ve wasted my time. Do not waste my time now.

She’s not wrong about the glasses!

According to Amber, while the two were on their honeymoon in Australia, Harry filmed content with another influencer to “hide their relationship for the sake of the show.” Funnily enough, he’s now dating said influencer.

He also contacted the runner up, Dannelle (not Danielle, Dann-elle … begging parents to do better) in January, when he and Amber were still together. Dannelle revealed that Harry flew her to LA for 2 days, where they were physically intimate and exchanged “I love you”s. But when he dropped her at the airport, Dannelle said he was acting strange and said he was “in his head.” Then he broke things off with her.

Amber made an interesting point that because Harry has predominately dated on reality TV, nothing about a relationship feels real to him. This is Harry’s third reality dating show, and while he knows how to perform the role of “boyfriend” while the cameras are on, she said he was unable to connect with her in private.

Harry innately understands what audiences want from him, but it seems that he’s unable to articulate or understand what he wants for himself. Aside from wanting to sleep with as many women as possible. There, I do think he’s succeeding.

I’m not sure where these two are vis a vis a divorce (I sincerely doubt this was a real marriage), but go ahead and count me out for season 2.

KarJenner Korner

It’s been a minute since I checked in on these bitches.

Khloe has a new show about a group of her best girlfriends called “The Girls.” You might not get the name at first, but just sit with it and it will come to you.

The timing of the show is interesting as reports are coming out that she is no longer on speaking terms with her Good American co-founder, Emma Grede. Khloe hasn’t promoted the brand on her Instagram since August 2024, right around the time that she started skipping out on Good American events.

Khloe, who has two young kids with a serial cheater, seems to be prioritizing motherhood, which likely didn’t sit right with Emma, who famously only spends three hours a day with her children. Good for her!

As Khloe’s interest wained and Good American’s growth slowed, Grede shifted her focus to other KarJenner businesses like Skims, Khy, and Kris Jenner’s weird cleaning product company, Safely. Though it’s also being reported that Kris has been looking for another business partner for the family, with the ultimate goal of severing ties with Grede, who has become an entrepreneurial influencer in her own right.

And also looking to make a name for herself is North West, who was on the cover of Dazed this month.

As a reminder, North is 13 years old. She’s been allowed to get face piercings and go on tour with adults. It’s not really clear when she’s going to school (she describes her perfect day as rehearsing and then going to the studio) or when she’s allowed to be a kid. But the KarJenners need to stay relevant. And they’re doing that with the next generation, so off to work North goes.

There are a lot of people this week making some ~choices~ ranging from good to downright idiocy. Below — please find my ranking from worst to best.

9. Ariana and Ricky Getting Matching Tattoos

Okay, someone needs to intervene. And I am willing to do it if people think that I’m the right person for the job. I’m not pawning this off — like climate change, we all play a role in this.

During her London Eternal Sunshine show, fans noticed Ariana sporting a new tattoo — a bad boy right on her collarbone that says “I do love you.”

Know who else has that same tattoo? Her ex turned new boyfriend, Ricky Álvarez. Sure, his is older and in a chunkier font, and Ari’s is new. But pair the tats with the Instagram hard launch and I am left to assume that she is down bad for this man just months after breaking up with Ethan Slater.

Maybe you think “oh, that’s nice that she’s happy.” Wrong, Mom.

Need I remind you that Ricky is the guy who she licked doughnuts with in 2015, causing a national crisis? We cannot take another incident like that. The country is barely holding it together, especially now that we’re $40 trillion in debt (hold on America, my student loan payments are on the way)!

Needless to say, I do not care for Ricky. And this public step back for Ariana cannot come soon enough. We all need a break.

8. Going on Let’s Marry Harry

I had no clue who Harry Jowsey was when I started watching “Let’s Marry Harry,” a Bachelor-style show where Harry dates 25 women, all of whom get engagement rings and live in the same house as him. The goal? I mean, I assume production’s first goal has to be avoiding a massive herpes outbreak. But the stated goal of the show is for Harry to marry one woman by the end of the month. That’s right, one month.

Even Love is Blind gets five weeks. You’re telling me that Alex Cooper, who is executive producing the show, couldn’t spring for one more week of production? Her production company, Unwell, was just valued at $500 million. But maybe four weeks was all that anyone could stand to be around Alex’s spouse, Matt Kaplan, who has a bit of a yelling problem.

Or maybe they did four weeks because no one actually thought Harry would end up with someone. Harry (apparently) is a staple on Netflix dating shows like “Too Hot to Handle” and “Perfect Match,” where he’s racked up quite the reputation as a hoe. So much so that he spent about five minutes telling all the women how much he’s changed since his dad passed away.

It got to the point where even I was like, “damn, what did this dude do on TV?” Nothing that I can find aside from your basic fuck boy behavior. But at one point in “Let’s Marry Harry,” he acknowledges to one contestant that she’s triggering his desire to love bomb. I’m sorry, what? You’re actively trying to love bomb someone and you’re aware of it? And you’re willing to admit it in front of all the other women?

Unfortunately, show formats like this — where the man is centered as the prize — push women to ignore any misgivings they may have about the relationship in the name of “winning.” Harry can admit to love bombing. He can kiss every single woman in the house in a night and hook up with one too. He can behave however he wants and they’ll ultimately look the other way to be chosen.

Harry is a walking red flag, and that’s not just because production cannot keep him out of the sun (literally begging someone to bring him sunscreen and a water). When he does open up to one woman emotionally — crying in her arms as he talks about his childhood and his dad — he’s immediately turned off by her the next day when she admits to liking him. He thinks she’s too into him, even though he spent their date being vulnerable with her.

It’s pretty clear that Harry is a classic avoidant who should be in therapy instead of on reality TV. Luckily, his best friends are there to help. Harry brought along his best guy friend, his ex-girlfriend, and his best girl friend, Amanda Kloots. Together, those three pick the women who will go home at each elimination, with Harry getting one save each week.

I’m not to the end of the show yet, but I do know that Harry gets “married” to one contestant (he’s currently trying to tell everyone the marriage is real). The only good thing I can say about him is that he did a better job telling those women apart than I did.

7. Gwyneth Partying with Sam Altman

It’s not surprising that Gwyneth Paltrow is throwing a “private, off-the-record al fresco dinner” for Sam Altman (aka the man sent to destroy us all with OpenAI). Private no longer now that the invite leaked!

The maven of dubious wellness endorsements has recently shifted her focus to supporting AI (and shilling for Israeli luxury real estate). In June, she had Trae Stephens on her podcast. Stephens, whose company makes bombs guided by AI and other “smart battlefield” technology aimed at killing people more cheaply than traditional warfare, talked about his faith on the podcast. Powerful stuff.

Trae said he’s only building these bombs to save American lives, which are famously more valuable than other lives in the eyes of every major world religion. And Gwyneth said “amen,” recalling the trauma of growing up during the Cold War and 9/11, and using that trauma to justify AI warfare.

I too remember 9/11 and yet I’ve managed to avoid thinking it’s okay to build weapons designed to kill as many people as possible. But I’m not like other girls.

6. NicOlandria Getting Back Together

While these two just announced their split last month, they were reunited at Jordyn Woods and Karl-Anthony Towns’ wedding. And Vogue clocked it.

I don’t know if it’s for a good time or a long time, but I support it. Sue me, I love love.

5. Those OnlyFans Moms on TLC

First — this show needs to apologize to the city of St. Louis. These women are not from St. Louis. They’re from a way worse place about 50 miles down the highway. And I can say that because I am from Missouri.

“The Double Lives of Suburban Wives” premiered this week on TLC, following six women who all have a dark secret — they are OnlyFans content creators. Some of them are more open about being content creators, probably because they were outed and fired from their teaching jobs. Others are doing it in total secrecy … minus the reality TV show.

I mean, I audibly laughed when one of their husband’s proclaimed, “we’re not telling anyone!” My dude, you are on camera right now.

Every woman on this show has the same basic backstory — her husband lost his job, so she had to whip out her tits to save the family farm. Tale as old as time really.

Some of them have embraced their OnlyFans stardom, making millions on the platform. And others are still conflicted by it, especially because of their faith. One woman, Macy, even goes so far as to wear her OnlyFans wig in public when she’s with her creator friends so that if she does get recognized, it will only be because they know her from OnlyFans, not from church. It’s weird. And it doesn’t make any sense. But trying to find logic in any TLC show is a fool’s errand.

There are only two episodes so far, but my favorite thing is that they all think they’re being recognized for being on OnlyFans. I think people are probably taking photos of them because they’re walking around a rural Missouri town with a population of 4,791 people with a camera crew. One woman’s opinion.

4. Harry and Meghan Moving Back

People Mag dropped this news so you know it’s true — Harry and Meghan are moving back to the UK for “an extended period of time.” They’re keeping their home in Montecito and will live in a non-royal affiliated property in the UK, but yeah, they’re giving it another go.

EVERYONE BE CHILL THIS TIME.

Looking at you, British tabloids. This is a reminder that while Meghan is Black, you don’t need to write about it. It’s okay. Some people are Black. It’s not front page news.

While it’s not clear what spurred this decision, the Royals have had some recent health scares, including Kate and Charles revealing they had cancer. Late last year, Charles announced that his treatments would be “reduced” but he hasn’t announced that he’s cancer free.

Maybe Harry wants to spend time with his only parent and make sure his kids know their grandfather. Maybe Meghan is finally going to take William out at the knees for leaking stories about her to the press to cover his affair (allegedly). Only time will tell, but I’m proud of them for giving it another go.

And I’m probably the most excited for Lilibet, who (along with her brother), will start school in the UK this September. That little girl is about to realize that she’s a literal princess and has been held back from royalty since birth. That’s been a personal fantasy of mine from age 3 to right now.

3. SEC Parents spending thousands on dorm rooms

They could never make me hate you, Mary Margaret Designs.

It is SEC move in-week and I am once again reminded how crazy these young women and their families are. Not only are we being treated to recruitment outfits worth thousands of dollars, but we’re also getting to see their decked out dorm rooms.

Some parents are dropping $20k to transform their beautiful baby girl’s room into something out of a Lilly Pulitzer fever dream.

This space feels so airy, earthy, and beachy all at the same time, with just a hint of vintage and such a beautiful seaside-chic feel. The wood built-ins in Crosby can be challenging, and many people try to cover them with contact paper or other materials. This year, we decided to embrace the wood and make it a beautiful part of the room. We added finished, textured wood paneling to the cinderblock walls, which tied everything together and created such a cool, balanced look throughout the space. Moving into any dorm and beginning college can feel a little scary, so we are especially thankful these sweet girls now have such a peaceful and comforting environment to come home to. People were mad about this complete waste of money, but I love thinking about these rooms getting destroyed by 18 year old monsters. 2. ABC Suing the FCC

Get her, Jade!

ABC, via its parent company Disney, is suing the Federal Communications Commission, arguing that the Tr*mp administration has violated its free speech rights. If you’ll recall, the FCC challenged ABC’s broadcast licenses in retaliation for the negative coverage featured on ABC News, The View, and Jimmy Kimmel Live. I mean, if they didn’t say negative things, the broadcasts would just be 60 minutes of silence. You can’t expect that of Joy Behar.

The lawsuit cites multiple Truth Social posts, along with FCC Chairman, Brendan Carr’s comments about retaliation. And while Carr is saying the lawsuit is jumping the gun, the lone Democrat on the FCC (lol how bleak) said in an interview with Morning Edition that “Disney has found its courage [. . .] it’s good for the First Amendment. It’s good for the public, and it’s good for broadcasters in general.”

Stay strong, queen. And go Disney, I guess.

1. Azzi Fudd’s Surgery

Azzi Fudd, I love you and I hope this surgery buys you years of playing time in the W.

Yesterday, the Dallas Wings announced that Azzi will be out for the rest of the season as she undergoes and arthroscopic procedure to clean up her right knee. She’s dealt with numerous injuries in that knee, including two ACL tears.

This year, she went straight from March Madness to playing about 35 minutes every game. Dallas has been running all their starters ragged this season, so it’s not necessarily surprising that Azzi is now dealing with an injury.

I’m beyond glad that she’s not pushing herself to play through the pain, choosing instead to prioritize her long term health and career.

But who will I root for now that Dallas’ playoff chances are looking bleak and the Sparks are … well, the Sparks. I’m throwing my hat in with the Minnesota Lynx. I want to see Queen Phee with a trophy. But my dark horse? The Washington Mystics.

A Complete Breakdown of the Lindsay Clancy Case

When I first heard about the Lindsay Clancy trial, I was deeply uninterested in learning more. I’m not a true crime person, and this is about a mother who killed her three children and then tried to kill herself in a daze of postpartum psychosis. Much too sad for Emily.

But then I was on Internet and people were saying that maybe her husband did it. That’s when I whipped out my little Sherlock Holmes tin foil hat to get to the bottom of things. Thank G-d I’m here.

Who are the Clancys?

Lindsay and Patrick Clancy were a nice couple with three young children — Callan, Dawson, and Cora Clancy. Cora was 5. Callan, the youngest, was 8 months old.

After Callan was born, Lindsay reduced her hours as a labor and delivery nurse to deal with her mental health. At the time, she thought she was dealing with anxiety and postpartum depression following the birth, although medical professionals would later believe that she was bipolar. But when she started treatment in September 2022, Lindsay was most concerned about her anxiety and insomnia.

She started working with a psychiatrist and a psychiatric nurse practitioner, who, over the course of five months, prescribed a dozen different medications. Lindsay would frequently express concerns over becoming addicted, but I think anyone who’s taken SSRIs knows there’s no chance you’re abusing those bad boys. With side effects like weight fluctuation, sleep disruption, and lowered sex drive, no one is taking SSRIs out for a ride and a good time.

Lindsay specifically expressed concerns about the antipsychotic drug she was prescribed, detailing in her sessions with her nurse that she was having suicidal thoughts but had no plan to harm herself or the children. Because she wasn’t showing signs of psychosis or mania, her nurse encouraged her to keep taking the medication, explaining the initial side effects and advising Lindsay to stick with it.

Lindsay disagreed. While her nurse was on a planned vacation, Lindsay committed herself to a psychiatric hospital. At no point did her nurse practitioner or psychiatrist consult with the hospital about the care Lindsay received there. Lindsay was discharged after two days in the hospital, but it does not seem that she was discharged with a care plan agreed upon by all her mental health providers.

Just nineteen days after being discharged from the psychiatric hospital, Lindsay strangled her children and attempted to kill herself.

The Day of

On January 24, 2023, Lindsay said she heard a commanding voice tell her to “kill the children so you can kill yourself.” Aside from that, she had a pretty normal day.

She took Cora to the doctor in the morning, and played in the snow with Cora and Dawson as Callan napped. Around 4:45pm, Lindsay texted Patrick asking if takeout would be okay for dinner. He said yes, and Lindsay asked him to pick it up, along with some over the counter medication for Cora from CVS.

The prosecution argues that Lindsay used the errands to get Patrick out of the house. Patrick claims he left around 5:15pm and returned around 6pm. When he got home, the house was oddly quiet. He looked around the first floor before going to their bedroom on the second floor, finding the door locked. Using an emergency key, Patrick unlocked the bedroom door to find the room in disarray — blood splatters on the floor, the bed moved, and the window open in the dead of winter. When he looked out, he saw Lindsay laying below in the yard.

After crushing pills and making (superficial) cuts to her wrists and neck, Lindsay had apparently jumped from their second-floor window. Patrick said that he rushed down to her, immediately asking her where the kids were. He said that she was able to respond to him that the children were in the basement. Interesting, because the paramedics described her as unresponsive and unable to speak when they got there.

Patrick called 911 with some difficulty, but was ultimately able to connect with emergency services. When officers arrived, he yelled for help in the yard, leaving Lindsay with them while he went to check on the kids.

Patrick was still on with 911 when he discovered the children in the basement, all three of them strangled. He began to remove the exercise bands from their neck, calling for help. Only Callan, the 8 month old, was still alive at the time. He was rushed to the hospital, ultimately succumbing to his injuries three days later.

Lindsay too was taken to the hospital. She went into cardiac arrest on the way over, waking up two days later on a ventilator, paralyzed from the waist down. Her first word upon waking up was written on a white board was “horrified.”

The Trial

The trial, which is expected to last six weeks, kicked off on July 27th. Lindsay’s attorneys do not dispute that she killed the children, but they are saying that she should not be held criminally responsible because she was in a psychotic state, believing that she heard voices ordering her to take the lives of her children and her own.

But postpartum psychosis is poorly understood in the legal system, and in a case like this, where jurors will hear about the violent deaths of three young children, there’s a chance that they overlook her mental state because her actions were so horrific.

Because of that, her defense team is making a brilliant move. Yes, they’re putting forth their main argument — that she did not have the mental capacity for murder — but they’re also planting the seeds that Patrick was the one who murdered the children.

Lindsay’s team does not have to prove that she’s innocent. It’s up to the prosecution to prove that she did this beyond a reasonable doubt. It’s therefore a genius back up plan to point out the inconstancies in Patrick’s story, undercutting the prosecution’s case and their ability to meet their burden of proof.

The Evidence Against Patrick

This is where Internet is really spinning out. There are a million rumors buzzing around, like Patrick’s brother being a police officer (not from what I can find). Below, I’ve compiled the top things I’m seeing with my analysis on their relevancy.

Patrick’s Timeline – Highly Suspect

Patrick claims that he left the house at 5:15pm. He says he called Lindsay at 5:33pm to ask if generic meds were okay, and there’s video of him picking up takeout at 5:54pm. Here’s his complete timeline:

• 5:15pm: Leaves the House

• 5:20pm: Arrives at CVS

  • 3 minute drive from the house

• 5:33pm: Calls Lindsay from CVS

• 5:44pm: Leaves CVS

  • Mama, that’s 24 minutes in the CVS to get one thing…

• 5:54pm: Arrives at takeout restaurant

  • 10 minute drive from CVS

• 6:05pm: Arrives at home

  • 10 minute drive from restaurant

• 6:09pm: Calls 911

This is all feasible, minus anyone willingly spending 25 minutes in a CVS. And if he left the CVS after the call with Lindsay, there are 20 minutes of unaccounted for time. The CVS is a 3 minute drive from their house; the restaurant is a 10 minute drive. It’s possible that Patrick could have returned to the house. If he had an accomplice (there were mixed-person DNA on the bands), he could have checked in on the murders before finishing his errands and solidifying his alibi.

The Email from The Basement — Highly Suspect

The issue with Patrick’s timeline is that we know he was home at 5:24pm because he sent an email from his work laptop. In the basement.

Honestly, huge win for capitalism if sending a work email leads to Patrick’s conviction. You’re telling me this man was such a corporate shill that he had to shoot off a “will do” email while killing his kids? G-d bless America.

Shoe Change between CVS and Take Out – Highly Suspect

This is why I think he went home. Because Patrick is on the CVS cameras wearing brown boots. And he’s at the takeout restaurant wearing tennis shoes.

Delaying the 911 Call – Highly Suspect

Patrick says that he didn’t call 911 right away because he was having a hard time getting through, with the call connecting to wifi and then dropping off.

But according to 911.gov, “all wireless phones, even those that are not subscribed to or supported by a specific carrier, can call 911.”

Meaning that even if you have no service, no cell plan, and no internet, a call to 911 will immediately bypass the usual connection routes, finding the closest cell tower and dialing out.

So, why all the difficulty Patrick?

Lindsay’s Ability to Recount the Events – Suspect

Yes, Lindsay has confessed to the murders. But at the time of the murders, she was dealing with anxiety, insomnia, and brain fog so severe that it impacted her ability to plan or reason with herself. In her journal, Lindsay wrote “I feel disconnected from myself, time, reality.”

Add in the fact that she was being improperly treated for bipolar disorder, and you have a person who was clearly not functioning or understanding the world around her.

In her civil case against her care team, Lindsay alleged that ”each failed to properly diagnose [her] bipolar disorder with postpartum onset and instead subjected her to a disorganized, uncoordinated course of polypharmacy that exacerbated her condition and precipitated a severe psychotic break”

A dozen meds in five months is a lot. It’s clear that Lindsay’s health care team failed her when they failed to communicate with each other and coordinate care. And the severity of that failure calls into question her ability to accurately remember the events of that day.

Lindsay’s Prints Not on the Bands – Minimally suspect

Lindsay’s prints were not found on the exercise bands or on the knife that she used to cut herself with.

This, however, is pretty common. It’s difficult to pull a print to begin with. Add in an irregular surface and the fact that Patrick removed the bands himself, and it’s unlikely you’re going to get fingerprint evidence.

Lindsay’s Body Temperature – Minimally Suspect

When paramedic’s arrived, Lindsay’s body temperature was 82^o, roughly a 12-14 degree drop in an hour, tops.

A healthy adult in the same weather conditions would lose about 3 degrees in an hour. However, Lindsay suffered damage to her spinal cord near the T5 and T6 thoracic vertebrae.

And according to an expert in Parade Magazine (don’t judge my sources you guys, I’m doing my best over here), a spinal injury at T5/T6 “severs the brain’s connection to blood vessels and muscles below the chest. This cuts off the body’s two primary heat-generating defenses below the level of injury: constriction of blood vessels and shivering. Trauma doctors refer to the resulting condition as poikilothermia, the tendency of the body to match the temperature of whatever surface it’s sitting on.”

So, it’s possible that Lindsay, given her injuries, was unable to do things like shiver to keep her body warm. It’s therefore possible that she had such a severe drop, especially since she was laying in the snow.

My Final Thoughts

Bottom line, I don’t know who killed the kids. But to me, it feels like it is not beyond a reasonable doubt that Lindsay did it. I’m not quite to the collective fervor that the internet is, but Patrick’s story is suss. And he got remarried a few months later, which isn’t helping things.

We’ve got another month of this though. Who knows what else will come out. Until the defense rests, I promise that my tin foil hat will stay on.

Sophie Cunningham can Eat Shit

And she’d probably like it!

If you don’t know who Sophie Cunningham is, I’m not surprised. She’s a bench player for the Indiana Fever with a career average of 8 points a game. The only reason that people started talking about her last season was because she blatantly slammed another player to the ground in the name of “protecting” Caitlin Clark.

Since her WWE stunt, Sophie has become known as Caitlin’s enforcer. Given her shooting average, it’s about all she was going to be remembered for. That is until she decided to go after trans women.

Sophie is now using her platform to talk about banning trans women from sports, saying that she’s trying to protect young girls in the locker room. To my knowledge, there are no cases of a trans girl attacking a cis girl in a locker room. There are cases of adults abusing young girls, a la Larry Nassar, but not trans people.

So why would Sophie, as a member of a league with ZERO trans athletes, decide to speak out against trans people? The followers!

Since she made her anti-trans statements, Sophie has gained over a million new followers. She’s now at 3.8 million followers on Instagram, surpassing real WNBA stars like Aja Wilson (1.5 million) and Paige Bueckers (3.1 million). And getting very close to Caitlin Clark’s numbers (3.9 million).

She’s also shopping a tell-all book. All this while Washington state attempts to pass a bill that would require genital checks for young female athletes. Talk about harming women in locker rooms.

Trans women in sports is a non-issue that the right uses to undermine female autonomy.

Trans people are estimated to make up 1-2% of the population of the United States. But they make up less than less than 0.002% (10/500,000) of US college athletes, and even fewer of recent Olympians (0.001%).

Further, a 2024 study published in the British Journal of Sports Medicine concluded that transgender women may have several physical disadvantages when it comes to competing with cisgender women. The study found that transgender women performed worse than cis women when it came to lower-body strength and lung function. And found that there was no meaningful difference in hemoglobin profiles or bone density between cis and trans women.

All of this to say that the argument that trans women will outcompete cis women is not predicated on science. The argument that they will hurt cis women is not predicated on fact. It’s all predicated on the idea that female exceptionalism must have an upper limit. To the right, women should not be aware of all the things that they can achieve.

Playing sports teaches women to be strong, to work as a team, and to support each other. It gives them power. And it’s not lost on me that conservatives are going after the WNBA, one of the most popular, black, and gay leagues in the country. And while Sophie has tried to backtrack and say that she “loves trans people” (sure Jan…), she’s still benefitting from using her platform to spread hate and disinformation.

That’s why I’ll forever be grateful for Dijonai Carrington for this block.

Sure, Dijonai got ejected from the game. But it was worth it.

I’m not going to sugar coat it — this is a real bummer of a Stack. And it’s not just because Spider Man: New Day Made $932 million this weekend, all but confirming that they’ll keep making these Marvel movies until I’m dead. No, this is because I’m covering some very sad celebrity mental health issues. So trigger warnings ahead, especially if you’re a Ted Lasso fan.

Ariana Takes a Step Back

I have put off talking about Ariana Grande for months because, as a rule, I do not comment on women’s bodies online. Men? Sure, gird your loins. I’ll talk about Alexander Skarsgård playing a hot basket man all damn day.

But women? Well, as a child of the 90s who grew up seeing celebrities and their alleged weights splashed all over tabloid covers, I am deeply uninterested in adding to any public discourse about how big or how small a woman has become. It’s harmful to the subject and harmful to the little girl in the supermarket who is slowly understanding that her body will be dissected too — because female bodies are always open to discussion. Perhaps that’s because they’re a reflection of our social and political leanings.

After all, female bodies are political. They are policed by public policy, deprived of autonomy, and subjected to ever changing beauty standards. In the 2010s, a time of social reform, bodies were expected to have butts and boobs, reflecting a shift towards inclusivity and diversity. But now, with the rise of white supremacy, they are expected to adhere to white femininity — made as small and quiet as possible. Expressions should be limited by Botox, and if they cannot be naturally thin, then they should be injected with drugs to suppress appetites. In DJT’s America, the perfect woman should be able to fit in an oversized bin without any complaint. Or in Ariana’s case, a guitar case.

And though Ariana is adhering to that beauty standard, we have collectively decided that she’s gone too far.

Whatever is happening with Ariana’s health is not my business. I don’t know her. And to my knowledge, she does not subscribe to this stack (though, I think I’m making some pretty cool points here if anyone wants to send it to her…). I do not think that commenting on her thinness will spur her to address any health issues. Shaming someone into changing never works. What’s more, if she does have an eating disorder, then being thin is a mark of successfully maintaining control over her body. Any comments affirming her thinness could spur her to keep going.

For these compounding reasons, I don’t engage in body discourse. But this week, the commentary surrounding Ariana and her body reached a boiling point. On Sunday, Ariana’s team announced that she will be taking a step back from public life after her tour concludes.

In their statement, her team said, “[s]he looks forward to finishing the tour and ending it on a high note, both healthily and happily, and then taking a much-deserved break from public-facing work and appearances, which has led to endless, ongoing public scrutiny.”

To this, I must say — be so fucking for real. You cannot tell me that this is a healthy individual. Take a break, yes. But don’t show me an emaciated body and tell me it’s a healthy one. I’m not going to speculate on what’s going on with Ariana health-wise, but quite simply, you do not get this thin without something going on.

Her team has been seeing the same things the public has — an increasingly thin Ariana struggling to get through her performances. And then there was the Petal music video, where her entire rib cage was on display. Put simply, she’s barely making it through this tour.

For those looking for some kind of explanation from Ariana about what’s going on, they will not find it in her latest album. Petal is largely devoid of introspection, focusing more on how toxic the public can be. While also saying things like “I am not the victim / Bitch, I'm practically drowning in my blessings.” Sure, her career is at a high point (she was nominated for an Oscar and can fit in that guitar case) but would we call being unable to perform for two hours a blessing?

I wouldn’t, but I’m crazy like that.

Ariana spoke to her own fans about the break during a concert, assuring them that she had decided to take a step back “a long time ago and it’s a decision that was made from a thoughtful and empowered place”

While I don’t know that this is coming from an empowered place or out of necessity, I can hope for the latter. Watching anyone struggle so publicly with their health is painful and scary, and I hope that Ariana gets the time she needs to heal from whatever illness she’s battling. Though if it is a sickness caused by the authoritarian oppression of female bodies, I fear she may never recover.

Is Jason Sudeikis Okay?

On a lighter note, let’s talk about Jason Sudeikis’ apparent inability to let Ted Lasso go.

A few weeks ago, I talked about Olivia Wilde’s comeback post-divorce, and now, I must turn my attention to Jason, who we last saw blocking her car with his body.

Jason PROMISED me that season three of Ted Lasso would be the last. I hate watched the whole thing, even as it became increasingly sappy and self-obsessed. Bill Lawrence, the initial showrunner, left to focus on other projects, leaving Sudeikis alone at the helm. After shooting 10 hour days, Jason would retire to edit scripts well into the night, forcing actors to learn new lines on the fly. Episode lengths ballooned as Jason was unable to edit things down. What was left was a show that was, to put it kindly, a complete slog.

But apparently, a promise means nothing when your real life goes to shit and you want to escape back into playing the world’s most optimistic man. In a recent interview, Sudeikis gave insight on his decision to return, stating that “it is infectious to play a character who sees the best in people and isn’t mad at the world for all its foibles and bullies and shadows [. . .] it was good to live in that — to have that coursing through your brain and your body all day.”

Oh buddy, are you okay? Are things that bad at home without the salad dressing?

Olivia said she took a month-long road trip to find herself after the divorce – maybe you could try that too? I know it’s too late with season four already shot (though apparently, Jason is still editing…six months later), but surely before season five comes out?

Who can say if we’ll be that lucky. Sudeikis is talking about another three-season arc as Ted returns to coach a women’s soccer team. I for one am not looking forward to what the all-male creative team does with complex female characters. Remember last season, when they thought it was appropriate for Hannah Waddingham’s character to wake up after a drunken night with a man and ask him if anything happened? Because I do.

I know that Jason “needed this” but I don’t think the rest of the world did. Watch me eat my words when the numbers come in.

Perez Hilton Is Still Alive?

Perez Hilton, famed for being the most disgusting internet troll of the 2000s was hospitalized on Tuesday night after appearing in a livestream covered in blood and apparently cutting himself. The Miami-Dade County Sheriff’s Office apparently received multiple calls about the livestream which is shocking – I had no clue that multiple people would tune into that. To the people who were watching, number one, why? And number two, thanks for calling it in I guess.

The sheriff’s department confirmed that Hilton was taken to the hospital and is now receiving care. But I can’t wish anyone well who once made a shirt when Heath Ledger died that said “I wish it was Britney instead.”

Diddy Set Back

Finally, one silver lining of the week — Diddy’s prison release date was set back after he got into an altercation with another inmate and landing in solitary confinement.

Apparently, the inmate insulted Diddy, but at this point, I’m not sure what he could say that isn’t true. If the man said “you’re a fake raper who abused women and had rooms filled with Costco-sized tubs of baby oil,” those are simply statements of facts!

WNBA All Stars Weekend Was Messssy

I love the WNBA. Because what do you mean DiJonai Carrington woke up and chose violence against her ex, NaLyssa Smith, by dropping this Thread on a Sunday morning.

Not the “+++”!

For those who have yet to see the light that is women’s basketball, DiJonai Carrington and NaLyssa Smith started dating in college when they both played for Baylor. They had an on/off relationship for a few years, playing for different teams in the W. But in 2025, they were both signed by the Dallas Wings and seemed to be doing better than ever.

That season was a true flop for the Wings, so DiJonai left to play for the Lynx and NaLyssa left to play for the Aces. Both teams went on championship runs, with NaLyssa and the Aces ultimately winning it all. And who was there to cheer her on? DiJonai.

But that summer, NaLyssa and DiJonai broke up. They didn’t say anything about it at the time. Really, the only clue that things were over came from NaLyssa’s teammate, Jackie Young, who starting posting images to socials that looked like she was with DiJonai. Interesting…

Cut to the start of this season, with DiJonai and Jackie confirming their relationship. All while Jackie and NaLyssa are still playing for the same team.

How those two are navigating the drama of your teammate dating your ex, I don’t know. I mean, I guess well since the Aces are 2nd in the league. But whatever peace aggrement Jackie and NaLyssa have apparently does not extend to DiJonai.

On Saturday night, the who’s who of the WNBA were out at a party hosted by the StudBudz, aka Courtney Williams and Natisha Hiedeman. For the second year in a row, Courtney and Natisha live streamed the entire weekend, including them getting IVs, napping, and partying in their room with W players. Unfortunately for NaLyssa, they also live streamed her getting kicked out of their party.

According to NaLyssa, she didn’t realize the party was being hosted by the StudBudz, who are both very close with DiJonai. I’m not really buying what NaLyssa is selling since the StudBudz have the biggest party each year, but whatever the truth may be, NaLyssa showed up and DiJonai got pissed.

While the livestream didn’t show DiJonai allegedly going off on NaLyssa, it did show NaLyssa being escorted out by security after Courtney Williams got involved.

Less than ideal for NaLyssa. And it only got worse in the morning when DiJonai revealed that NaLyssa cheated on her with at least two of her teammates. That’s right, Aaliyah Nye and Deja Kelly both play for the Aces. For those who need a chart, I got you—

Obviously, I have no clue who these men are. While there were some people online who were screaming about how this drama hurts the legitimacy of the W, I’ll take cheating over DV allegations and paternity suits any day of the week. At least these women aren’t refusing to pay child support and telling their baby mama to “get rid of it” like MNBA star Anthony Edwards.

And yes, I am being messy by posting a chart that includes Caitlin Clark. I will admit that any relationship between Caitlin and NaLyssa is completely unsubstantiated. But she stays on because I love a mess. And because I’m sick of her theatrics.

While Caitlin has always had a flair for the dramatics, this season, she’s been flopping even harder, raging at refs over non-calls and claiming to be injured after minimal contact with other players. While every athlete flops to try to get a foul called, Clark doing so has a different connotation when you consider that a large portion of her fan base are conservative. Some (i.e. me) might even go so far as to call them white nationalists.

And from a white nationalist lens, you have a fragile white woman who is being injured by black players. In June, 11 Republican House Members wrote a letter to the WNBA commissioner demanding accountability for the physical play against Clark. After being charged with a flagrant-2 foul on Clark, Alyssa Thomas (a black woman and MVP candidate) received death threats. Similarly, Chelsea Grey received several messages with racist slurs after her foul against Clark.

The W has always had a ref problem, but it is a physical league. Players can’t leave someone like Clark open. At times, she’s going to be fouled because she’s a player who demands to be guarded. And while she should not be injured, she doesn’t need to invent injuries where contact is minimal. Because doing so has proved to be deeply dangerous for her fellow players.

While I don’t know if Caitlin will ever realize/care how her theatrics endanger other players, I am sure that DiJonai is back at practice after her season ending injury last year. Her first game back? Well, it’s likely to be the Lynx game against the Aces on Saturday, August 8th. Never change, the W (minus Caitlin Clark and Sophie Cunningham. Those two can change).

Look out, Dad — Might Drop this Last Name

For those keeping track, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s daughter, Vivienne, became his fourth child to legally drop his last name. She’s following in the footsteps of her siblings, Shiloh, Maddox, and Zahara, who have all filed legal requests to change their last name to “Jolie.”

It seems that Brad has been estranged from his six children since an incident in 2016, when he became physically violent during a private flight. FBI and court documents stated that Brad grabbed Angelina by the head and shoulders, shaking her and pushing her into a wall before one of the children intervened. Brad reportedly lunged at the intervening child. And Jolie has stated that he choked one child and slapped another in the face, while also pouring beer and wine on Jolie and the children.

Brad has always denied the abuse allegations, but did admit to having a drinking problem, claiming that he got sober after the flight. And while the FBI closed its investigation into the incident without filing criminal charges against him, the fact that none of his children talk to him is pretty damning.

Not only that they don’t talk to him, but that they’re willing to file endless paperwork to remove him from their lives. I personally could never find that kind of strength.

Also filing paperwork to cut her dad out of her life is Suri Cruise. She’ll now be known as Suri Noelle, though I imagine that has more to do with Scientology than anything else. Some kids just don’t want to be in their dad’s cult. And that’s okay!

Shocking no one, Jared Leto is Disgusting

Finally, we get to the worst mess of them all — Jared Leto.

To be clear, Jared Leto has always been a disgusting human being. This is the same man who sent rats and used condoms to his Suicide Squad co-stars. I don’t give a fuck if he was doing it “as the Joker,” that’s not someone who I am interested in spending any time with.

And it turns out that no woman should be spending time with Leto. So far, 10 women have come forward to share their stories about Jared Leto’s sexual misconduct towards them, ranging from lewd and inappropriate comments to minors to sexual assault, grooming, and statutory rape.

In a new BBC documentary, four of those women are telling their stories on camera. The incidents allegedly occurred between 2002 and 2016 when Leto was the front man for Thirty Seconds to Mars, and in his 30s and 40s. The women were teenagers.

One woman described being sexually assaulted in a Vegas bathroom after meeting Leto at work. She was 17 at the time. Another woman, who was 16 when she met Leto, described the sexually explicit calls he made to her before she received an NDA to keep the calls quiet.

Perhaps most disturbing to me are the two women who were essentially delivered to Leto by his team. They both described attending Thirty Second to Mars concerts and being approached by Leto’s associates. One, who was a 19 year old model at the time, said that she was invited to an after party where Leto told her that “age is just a number,” when she told him how old she was.

She claims that another Leto assistant invited her to a follow up after party, which was not a party … it was actually just Leto in his hotel room. Alone. At that point, it was late in the evening and her phone was about to die. She asked to charge her phone so she could get home. Leto said no. She asked to borrow money for a cab. Leto again said no. And when she asked if she could sleep in his hotel room, he said that if she did, she would “wake up with a dick in her ass.”

Leto and his team have obviously denied the allegations. He’s been pumping out “wholesome” shopping videos with his mom. But this is not the first time he’s been accused of sexual misconduct. In 2025, DJ Allie Teilz claimed that he assaulted her when she was, you guessed it, 17.

I’m ready to close the case on this and call Jared what he is — a sexual predator who deserves jail time.
