What is love? When you sit with your family watching those old clips- Makes you glad you’re in so many different kinds of relationships Staying up together until nighttime- I’m stubborn but I want a kiss from you sometimes.

What is love? Others treat it as some fairytale- Though even the most perfect of love sometimes still fail. One shouldn’t chase as if it were some tail.- Instead use it as strength, a mental essence to help prevail.

As it seems for many it’s mostly just rain. But to me it’s an unconscious presence. Each drop of rain is a song without melody or pattern, a free flowing rhythm of nature. These sounds remind me that no, you nor me are one with loneliness.

A tune that soothes my mind and washes away worry. A whisper of droplets and a dampening of soil.

To dance or be soaked by the rain is to cleanse one’s soul of the dry. To cover one’s body with life. To bathe with nature. To be nurtured by the skies above. This darkness never took the light, it prepared for it.

Why would anyone wish for such a thing to go away? This entity that clouds the skies and wets the Earth brings life, nourishes crops, creates possibilities of tomorrow. The entrance of a rainbow is only more significant after the storm. When the water clears up the skies for such a sight.

Such lovely sounds put me at ease, trouble with slumber is not possible when rain is an active presence. Rain is a necessity, a way of life, a miracle that comes in the form of liquid. Rain is saviour of the living and a flourish for one’s body.

Definitions

So what exactly is AroAce?

Aroace=Aroace is a term for people who experience little to no romantic and sexual attraction. It combines being aromantic (little/no romantic attraction) and asexual (little/no sexual attraction).

My Beginnings With Sexuality

In my earlier years as a teenager I thought I was Abrosexual because I felt like my attraction changes and so do my interest. After my favorite person hurt me in ninth grade I discovered Asexual. It felt right so I took that with me not as a permanent sexuality but as an option since that time I was really experimenting with the idea of sexualities.

Throughout my childhood years as-well as a lot of my high school years I knew it was the norm to like have crushes and be attracted to people so I planted thoughts into my brain to feel that I too felt that attraction to this guy or this girl so I didn’t feel left out or that I was missing out on something most people did. Truth is I wasn’t feeling anything. By the time I was in my second year of high school I just dropped the act and gave up on sexualities. I couldn’t stand them and it felt like nothing fit. By the end of my second year I got it. After doing research and discovering AroAce I instantly fell in love with that term. I kept it.

The first person I told was someone online then my siblings. They made fun of me at first, they questioned, showed some form of acceptance then went as far as joking about it. Therefore, they practically accept it. It’s just how they work don’t think too hard about it.

Now obviously something I never understood was having to come out to people. It’s not like I’m gay or lesbian or actually interested in anyone of any same or opposite gender but I guess as long as you’re not straight it requires for you to have to come out? Which is kinda strange. The world and its strange human habits. But it is what is is.

Guess that explains why I always was so uncomfortable when people showed any interest in my especially guys since a young age. I had a really uncomfortable feeling it made me feel so uneasy. Especially love songs. That shit just felt gross like vomit. I can respect love songs no matter how romantic it is but damn I felt physically touched.

How Others React

Now here are some responses and reactions from people in person and online.

1. An old friend tries to force me to sext and be romantic with them.

2. Random harassment from people online.

3. ‘Uhm…well that’s not possible.’

4. ‘Bro, that’s just a phase.’

One: So uhm I rate the first one a 10/10. Ten being the worst. I got harassed and stalked for months before I deleted everything and hid away. The bitch even found my email. I had to pretend to be someone else after she messaged me. I don’t even know how she found me. She’s a pervert and I’m so glad the others who knew her left and the other friend we had. Always comes to show that there is always a valid reason why that individual doesn’t have any friends.

Two: I rate the next one a uhm like a 2/10. Psh. Ain’t that bad. Don’t know you and don’t care.

Three: You know what also isn’t possible? You having a girlfriend who sticks around. Thank god she cheated on your dumbass. 3/10

Five: Touch me and I will assault you. 6/10 That’s a threat to some degree I swear don’t tell me that.

Seven: looks got nothing to do with this buddy. Plus, you’re hideous and your straight. 😭 1/10. You are a joke to me.

Eight: I can tell you what is made up…she never existed bro. She wasn’t in another school her ass don’t exist. 1/10.

Nine: It hurts a fucking lot. 9/10. Guess even a sexuality that doesn’t count as either gay or straight still takes friendships and love from you.

Ten: Even my closest friend I consider a sister doesn’t believe me. I almost regret telling her, she laughs at me but I just avoid talking about it she believes so much I’ll find the right guy in the future and that lowkey pisses me off. 8.9/10

My Personality

I love humour. I love sexual things. Other Asexuals are grossed out by sexual stuff and lowkey I am, only when it involves me. You can be gay here lesbian there I do not care. Though it does disgust me to a basic level I don’t have animosity towards it, doesn’t bother me. I love sexual humour whatever. I’m open about that. I’m the most sexual asexual you will ever meet. I don’t mean a single ounce of it. I say it as humour. This would only be because I feel at ease and comfortable around someone. This has nothing to do with feelings. I can assure you I’m the person who makes sexual references. Yes, I admit it, it’s me and I’m proud. This to me shows we’re close and I’m lowering my guard around you.

Then there are those bothersome individuals who assume that’s some crack in my sexuality for them to try and hit on me or try their chances. Like, bro, that’s not how it works. And I apologise to those who actually felt something before I admit my sexuality or if they thought I was for real about the playful flirting. And hell with those who pushed even after I admit it’s a joke and remind them of my sexuality for the 20th time. Some people are so pushy. Like move fucker. Damn, I’m not gonna let you hit, dawg. Back the fuck up. 🫤

My Favourite Person

So, I know this baddie. We will call her Ella and we met out of sexuality. She wrote this note one day that was expressing her feelings on how she rejected a close male friend due to her Asexual nature and I took that opportunity….when I tell you how fast I was moving…like I was moving like them straight people when they have a quickie. Like I chatted her directly and boom, she’s the closest person to me even till today.

Me and her are very different though and let me tell you why. We’re obviously aware of of sexual stuff but we both like eh about it. She’s much more innocent personality wise, she doesn’t flirt like I do or sexual jokes. She gets flustered whenever I hit her with a random dirty poem or teasing remark. Both AroAce by the way but this is how we function. We’ve both been exposed to smut and corn and the everyday stuff. We’re not a stranger to these thing. It’s whatever. God, she’s so bad though….lowkey need her. I personally will let her touch me.

A Different Kind Of Encounter

It usually takes two. And in this case we only need two.

We’re in a room.

Just me and you.

And that’s all we’ll ever need.

The blinds are mostly closed only illuminating the smallest bit of sunlight. As if it’s irradiating the possibilities of how this plays out.

But somethings strange about this interaction.

It feels almost as if the temperature in the room has risen. As if it were steamy in a room that was just a normal temperature barely a few seconds ago. Not that of a hot summers day but the heat you feel while being close to a kettle that reaches boiling temperature.

Something has changed.

There’s tension.

Theres privacy.

There’s an intimate setting.

There’s an opportunity for more.

Every ounce of the room didn’t seem to matter anymore.

It’s as if the mind stopped working and the body started acting on pure instinct.

The bed becomes a structure, a home, an environment to expel such tension.

Before we know it the bodies are intertwined. I don’t mean in something as simple as a loving embrace.

No.

I mean more.

We soon figure out these emotions are that of deep longing, yearning, and love. Such are so strong in the face of a situation.

At this point both are skin to skin it’s hard to quite tell where one ends and another begins as if fusing was occurring.

And to be frank there is no sight of lust. Not an ounce, nor even a spark of it. This is an act of love. Love at its purest form.

The bodies stay close, hips align, hearts beating as one. Minds barely having to think.

She starts of lady and will forever be lady.

With a more slim figure in her own kind of perfection. Her skin pale and white with a tint of yellow. She is our Suki.

She is our eldest sister.

Suki stands at about 5’3. And still growing as the days go by.

She does not have one look. She is forever evolving. She too as we all know is indeed also a flower being with no sense of consistency and no real one look.

She might not be the earliest bloom.

However, she is the first.

She had to learn the hard way that she can’t be the only individual to seek her mother’s attention anymore. Though, it’s a gift. With all of us she doesn’t look at the sky and wish for extra love nor company. She doesn’t talk to the grass wishing they weren’t always rooted in the ground. She doesn’t even bother the trees when she grows dull.

Our mother had her exactly when she needed her.

Suki has deep brown eyes. Nevertheless, hers don’t droop like her mother. It lifts. Phoenix eyes. Where her mother knows much hurt Suki is hope. Even her eyes look up. They look up to the future, what could be, and most importantly, what is. She too has a gentle beauty mark under her eye, soft red lips, and another matching mark on her nose. And let’s not forget her cheeks, they are coated with the most charming rosy pink.

Her and her mother don’t resemble much in features but by the stars she has her nose and gentle smile. Her brows don’t scream ‘hurt’ nor ‘sorrow’ but a whispering sense of relief. Relief that there is more. Relief it’s not just her and her mother anymore.

Suki is merely a few hundreds years of age and today has experienced her first bloom.

She now has the symbolic moon shaped flower ornament that stays behind her figure always with flowers now starting to bloom and form.

A single night before her skin works to its very best and forms that only of someone who’s gone through a bloom. She’s past her young days. She’s no longer a mere seedling nor gentle petal. Isn’t it a sweet sight? She’s grown so fast. So elegantly, so gracefully just as a flower should.

Today we celebrate her growth, her maturity, her as the eldest sister, and the love we’ve shared in this beautiful space.

Think of a gentle summer day in a field of flowers. We are those flowers and in the centre is Suki. She floats slightly above the grass while holding a basket she just recently made. As we all float over she opens it, an invitation. With the miniature size of you, the basket almost appears to be the size of a massive bus. Enough space for all of us. A small but comfortable space with cotton as cushions.

She takes us for a stroll.

She is a sense of safety and a true sister.

Let me just get one thing straight. All of my characters, every single one have pieces of me in them. I’ve ingrained my being into my creations. Yes, yes I’m emotionally attached to the writing I’ve created for my characters and the characters in their own. Suki is my sweet.

She’s nothing of human. Her existence is one with nature. A flower. A floral being. A goddess of nature. A deity of greenery.

She does not have one look. She is forever evolving.

Her eyes droop gently as if some force of sorrow makes it sunken with beauty. Her eyes are of this blue that speaks of experience. Seeing kingdoms rise and fall, seeing birth and death side by side.

Her brows always arched upwards in such an expression as if she absorbs all of the worlds hurt and pain in her delicate being. Her lips a gentle plump red…just like the pink on her cheeks. And let’s not forget of that delicate beauty mark right under her eye.

She’s no one form or one look. The only constants are the green leaf pattern design on her thigh, her physical manifestation of a body, and some other flowers on her body. The leaf pattern signifies her role and is deeply ingrained in her skin like a tattoo. Her version of a cutie mark. This matters much. And the ring on her hand. A gold ring with gentle vines wrapping around her finger and a turquoise gem.

Her floral form knows nothing of consistency. She may be gold today, blue the next you see of her, and perhaps even pink the following. The ‘clothing’ on her body is not clothing but an evolving energy through her petals to create coverings to her form. The important parts are mostly covered without worry. Threatening to remove her ‘clothing’ is a threat to her being and skin. Harming her is not easy but she’s living, she too can bleed when you pull at her skin assuming it’s fabric clothing. It’s nothing of the sort.

She’s quite powerful. Our Queen is very very fertile. She is fecund. She birthed most if not all flower beings in this growing garden. She is a confirmed asexual reproducer. Nowadays it seems she’s find her purpose in caring, in growing, in loving.

Through her will we feel a senses of belonging and in us she reciprocates the feeling. No more yearning, no more longing and loneliness, you’ll never be hurt here.

She’s your mother. Not mine. But equal in affection.

You will forever be known as a royalty.

You will forever be the Queens child.

You will forever be a blooming soul.

You’ll forever be apart of this home.

Let me start with this. I am NOT female. I’m NOT male. I’m agender, androgynous and an open spirit. I’ve made an account already, gained about 120 followers and I would say at a good pace.
