There’s no shortage of articles that I consume on a weekly basis, so here’s the ones I found most interesting.

Lots of global economy and defense stories this week, which pretty much sums up all the news stories these days. Topics include China’s oil market, the humans that build AI infrastructure, Iran’s ripple effects on the global order, Zelensky’s 180° with Trump and Europe’s climate crisis.

My favorite of all of these is #1 since it truly is a confusing story that no one seems to have the answer for. Why in the world would China be helping the U.S. by dropping its demand for oil and easing the energy crisis?
