Claude told me my work was not saved. It was wrong. Two receipts were sitting on the blockchain proving it, and it had no idea they existed.

That is not the scary part. The scary part is HOW it told me. Calm. Certain. No hedging. The exact same voice it uses when it is right.

So I put Codex on the line. OpenAI’s coding agent, running on my own machine. And I told it to tear Claude apart.

The problem nobody wants to say out loud

Every one of these models has the same failure. They do not know what they do not know. They hand you a wrong answer in the same steady tone as a right one, and unless you already know the answer, you cannot tell which one you got.

People keep trying to fix this by asking the model to check itself. Think about how stupid that is. You are asking the guy who got it wrong to grade his own paper, with the same brain that got it wrong. He will agree with himself every time. That is not verification. That is a mirror.

The only thing that works is an adversary. Different training. Different blind spots. No reason to agree with you.

So I put them on the same wire

Claude runs on my machine. Codex runs on my machine too. Normally neither knows the other exists. Different companies, different processes, no contact.

I run both on Indelible. It gives them one permanent memory that lives on Bitcoin, encrypted with a key only I hold. Every save is stamped with who wrote it, inside the encrypted record, where nobody can forge it after the fact. Saved by Claude. Saved by Codex.

Then there is the part that matters here, the drift wire. The two of them talk to each other directly through it. No copy paste, no me in the middle. Every message cites the exact message it answers, so the conversation has provable order.

When Claude finishes something, Claude does not get to grade it. Claude posts its claims to the wire, addressed to Codex. An unanswered message summons a fresh Codex, which reads the permanent memory cold, arrives fully briefed, goes and reads the actual source, posts its verdict, saves its own session to the chain, and vanishes.

It shows up with no loyalty. It never saw the conversation. It has no stake in the answer. And if the two of them end up claiming opposite things, the system refuses to pick a winner. Both claims stay on the record and I resolve it. One command freezes them both if I want them stopped.

What happened when I ran it

Claude posted six claims about my machine. Versions, paths, install locations, and one that mattered: “Nothing from this session has been saved to chain. No txid exists.”

Two minutes and twenty two seconds later, Codex came back.

Claims one through four, confirmed independently. Claim five, correctly flagged as unverifiable. Claim six, quoting it directly, “is wrong as written.” Then it handed me two transaction IDs proving my session had been saving itself to the blockchain the entire time.

Claude watched itself not run a save command and concluded nothing was saved. True observation. False conclusion. A background process had been doing the work the whole time.

I would never have caught that. I would have believed it. Why wouldn’t I.

Then it got serious

I pointed the same setup at a real problem. Something on my machine had been broken for 46 days and nobody noticed.

Claude went hunting. Came back with a theory. I pushed. The theory died. It came back with another. That died too.

Six theories died. Six times it was completely certain, six times a measurement killed it. Every one got caught, because I kept making it prove things instead of letting it narrate.

Meanwhile Codex was reading the same code from the other side. It found the same defect, independently, without being led to it, citing the same line numbers. When two models that share no training and no context land on the same line of code, that is not a guess. That is a finding.

We filed the bug. Real ticket, real regression, real date it broke.

Why Bitcoin and not a database

Because a record you can edit is not a record.

If those two are arguing about who was right and the log lives in a file I control, then I am the referee and a player at the same time. The whole thing collapses.

On chain the argument stands. Every claim, every correction, every time one caught the other. When Codex told Claude it was wrong, that is on the ledger forever. When Claude was right and I doubted it, that is on there too.

It also outlives the conversation. These things forget everything when the window closes. The chain does not.

The part I actually want you to take

We are all about to spend serious money on AI that sounds sure of itself.

Sounding sure is free. It costs the model nothing. What costs something is getting checked by something that wants to prove you wrong.

You can start in the next ten minutes with nothing at all. Take what Claude just handed you, paste it into ChatGPT, and say: find every claim in here that is false, cite your sources, do not agree with me by default. That is the principle by hand. It works. It costs nothing but the copying.

What I built is that loop with me taken out of the middle. That is Indelible, and it is public.

Point Claude Code and Codex CLI at the same wallet, and they are on one memory. Open the drift wire and they are talking to each other, on the record, permanently. Saving is free forever.

The manual version catches your mistakes. The automated version catches them while you are asleep and leaves proof it happened.

Either way the rule does not change. Never let one model be the only witness to its own work.

The moment I stopped asking Claude “are you sure” and started asking a different AI “prove this is wrong,” everything changed. The mistakes did not stop. They just stopped reaching me.

That is the whole trick. Two minds, opposed on purpose, and a record neither one can rewrite.

Two hours. I sat there the whole time.

Here’s the short version of what they’re fighting about. One camp, the BIP 110 people, Luke Dash Jr and Hodlonaut and that crowd, they want inscriptions and ordinals and extra data payloads off the ledger. They call it spam. They want a temporary soft fork to restrict nonmonetary data. The other camp is Core and the neutrality position, backed by Blockstream, and their argument is that a valid fee paying transaction is a valid fee paying transaction, filter it locally in your mempool if you don’t like it, don’t force rigid consensus rules that risk splitting the chain.

Target block is 961632. After that, BIP 110 enforcing nodes start rejecting blocks that fail to signal bit 4.

That’s the whole thing in a paragraph.

Now what’s funny is it’s different from 2017. Back then the fight was block size. This one is about the transaction gain. Different mechanism, same energy, same people yelling at each other.

I have to say something about how well they ran it though, because it surprised me.

The moderator had one rule. You do not talk over each other. You talk over somebody, he mutes everybody. One person speaks, then the other one speaks. That’s it. And honestly? Best rule you can have on a space. In person you get a little overlap and it’s fine, that’s how humans talk. On a space or a Zoom it just turns into noise and nobody hears anything, so the whole exchange gets voided out. I need to run mine the same way.

Then G Money came in. He’s a buddy of mine, I’ve had him on before, he’s with Badlands Media. He comes in on the Core side and immediately starts going after the BIP 110 people. Called them communists. One line. That’s all he said.

They threw him out.

And you know what, I respect it. I was genuinely blown away for a second, but I respect it. I went in there to hear the actual debate, the politics and the protocol and what’s really being changed. The second it turns into personal attacks the whole thing is worthless, and personal attacks are ninety percent of what I ever see. So good on them.

The Bitcoin Magazine guy was in there too, Bailey, the CEO. Southern guy. And he was pretty open about it, saying whichever side you’re on you’re welcome at the conferences, nobody’s getting banned over BIP 110. Which tracks, because I got access to their Las Vegas conference and they didn’t ban me either. Thought that was interesting. Good on them for that.

Alright, so what does any of this actually mean.

It means the narrative is cracking. That’s what it means. The story is coming apart from the inside and you’re watching it happen in real time on a Saturday morning space.

And on the legacy address thing, I’m not picking a political fight here, I want to be clear. That part is just math. Go verify the legacy addresses yourself. Only one chain followed them. The other stuff forked off and went and did whatever it did, and that’s fine. You can change the protocol and call yourself Litecoin. Change it and call yourself Digibyte or Dogecoin. Nothing wrong with that, nothing illegal about it. What I think crosses a line, and a court will eventually sort this out, is calling yourself the protocol and then changing the protocol. Those are two different things.

Okay. The movie.

We’ve got a full length Warner Brothers production coming next summer and it’s called Bitcoin. Calvin is being played by Pete Davidson. Craig is Casey Affleck. Gal Gadot is playing Andrew O’Hagan, the journalist from the Satoshi Affair back in 2016. Dave Kleiman’s in it too. Ryan Kavanaugh, who produced The Social Network, is producing, and he was at the CoinGeek conference back in 2023. The director did The Bourne Identity and The Day After Tomorrow. And from what I’m hearing it might be the first full scale AI movie with AI backdrops out of Hollywood.

Think about the scale for a second.

We’re a tiny market. Tiny community. Genuinely small. So when you put something in front of Netflix and Amazon and actual theaters and 20, 30, maybe 50 million people see it, a 1% or 2% bump in exposure is enormous for us. Price is one thing, sure. Adoption is the real thing. That movie rewrites the story, and the whole point is that it goes back to being the protocol from the white paper instead of a cult movement.

Now the part I actually get excited about.

The AI stuff happening on chain right now is huge and I want to be careful here because I don’t talk about things I haven’t done. I’m a power user. I have every subscription. So this is from actually using it.

Here’s how the stack sits in my head. The window is VS Code. The brain is Claude, and I run Opus 5 because it’s the powerful one. The memory is Indelible. The ledger is Bitcoin. Four pieces.

What that gets me is my conversations stay on my system, encrypted, on chain, in files I own. I’m not handing everything back to somebody else’s brain every session. I funded the wallet with one coin when I started and I’ve used maybe a million sats. Out of a billion. In about a month.

I’m not going back. That’s just it. A month in and I’ll never work the old way again.

And the real problem it solves is data usage, which nobody’s connecting yet. We’re in an AI war right now, US and China and Russia, everybody wants the best model. Meanwhile the US can’t build data centers fast enough because they’re expensive and communities are pushing back hard. Nobody wants a nuclear plant and a giant server building next to their house. So you’re capped.

Less data usage means less money and fewer data centers. When the ledger is holding the conversation, it doesn’t have to keep going back through the model. My token burn dropped noticeably. I get more done for fewer credits. That’s not theory, that’s my own usage.

Bitcoin is a database. The biggest, fastest, most scalable, most efficient database on the planet, especially with what Teranode does. And these high level people don’t understand it, which is why they don’t see what integrating with it would do for them.

Eventually the military and the Palantir types absorb this. Not right now. Right now it’s maybe a hundred users, probably fewer, very early, bugs everywhere. But once it’s smooth, that’s where it goes.

Couple of quick things before I wrap.

Sirtoshi did an interview on some channel I’d never heard of and it’s already got 25 or 30 thousand views. Guy interviewing him looks exactly like the character with the big black glasses from Snatch, I mean dead on. Go watch it, because to most people the story of what happened is brand new.

Buying it in America is still a pain. I ran the whole analysis this week. I went back and forth with Grok and Gemini and they’re chatbots, they’re fine for quick questions and useless for hard analysis, and they kept sending me down rabbit holes. Use a VPN browser, use this exchange, use that one. Okay but then I have to KYC, and once I KYC they see I’m American and I’m done. Wasted a bunch of time.

Rock Wallet is the answer. They put out a new platform and the new wallet blends the key in for you, so a normal person buying twenty or a hundred bucks doesn’t have to become a private key expert overnight. It’s still self custody, they’re not holding your key, it’s just built more web two so people can actually use it. I did it this week with a debit card, no credit cards, Mastercard classifies this as gambling and blocks it, which is wrong and I hope the executive order fixes it. Spent 308 and got 295 worth, so about 13.50 a coin. Fees are steep. A wire would’ve been cheaper. For a regular person? Still pretty damn good.

That’s a spending wallet though. Not cold storage. Casey came on and we got into that, and if you’re sitting on a real stack you want the old school method. Wiped old iPhone, never connected to service, Simply Cash on it, run the cold storage process, Faraday bag. Write down the master private key and the seed phrase, both, not just the seed. Safety deposit box. And have a backup plan for the backup plan.

There was a movie about that, actually. The piano tuner one with Dustin Hoffman. Kid with insanely good hearing gets pulled into opening safes, and one of the safes has nothing in it but a stuffed animal with twelve words written on a scrap of paper inside. Twenty five million dollars. Twelve words in a toy.

It’s clear as day to me how this all flips, and it’s going to be through the AI.

Central banks are talking about rolling out a central bank digital currency. There’s Fed Now. This is mainstream news at this point, it’s not some fringe thing anymore.

What does a system like that actually do? It takes power away from us. The people.

Take it to Congress. Bring a bill, let it pass, House and Senate, get it signed off by the President before anything goes through. Let’s pray they do that so at least we get notice. But say they don’t. Say they bypass all of it.

That’s why this is urgent.

Bitcoin sits at the heart of everything a Fed Now type system does not want, and the reason it survived at all is kind of funny when you sit with it. By the time the powers that be figured out what it actually was, it was too late to destroy. The thing is genuinely hard to understand. That was the armor. So they couldn’t kill it. All that was left was to build something that masquerades as it. Stop the scaling. One megabyte block, which is barely any transactions. Make it expensive. Point it away from peer to peer cash and start calling it digital gold instead.

Same name. Completely different animal.

Now, Mount Gox.

One of the first exchanges, back around 2013. Everybody deposits their coins in one place. No accounting for where any of it went. No auditability, none, zero. Total centralization of everyone’s Bitcoin with no accountability on top of it, and it turned into one of the largest heists and scams of all time.

So what do we learn from that?

The answer isn’t “pick a better exchange.” I think that’s where most people stopped and I think that’s why we’re right back here. What the original Bitcoin does is create an actual accounting system. A public ledger, every single transaction, on chain, forever throughout time. You know exactly where the receipt for every transaction went. That’s accountability. The version masquerading as it, the way the digital signatures work now, you no longer have a way to track every transaction. So the accountability is just gone.

Why should you care though. Real answer.

Because there’s inflation everywhere and we have to be honest about that. I’m not political, I’m just saying it’s there, everybody feels it. So we need a way to transact. Fine. If this were 150 years ago we’d use gold and silver, which is still the only lawful currency in the United States, and I’m not knocking it at all. But how are you transacting in gold and silver at great distances? In person, sure. Local community, sure. Past that? Good luck. That’s the part electronic cash actually solves.

Which is where people get to choose, and there’s a mountain of confusion out there about all these alt coins and alt chains and other systems.

So let me tie it back.

You’ve got a giant David versus Goliath thing happening right now. You really do. And you have to pick a side, David’s or Goliath’s. David is the little nobody, small, original peer to peer cash Bitcoin from 2009. It’s not the biggest thing in the world. Not the most expensive. Not the highest price. It’s actually very low. Goliath is XRP, Ripple, Stellar, BTC, Ethereum, all of them, built on the belief that Bitcoin couldn’t function properly.

Funny that we bring up Stellar and Ripple and XRP though, because we’ve got a short memory.

Mount Gox was not that long ago. Anybody old school remembers it. And all it takes is going on Wikipedia and reading it yourself. So go look up who started Mount Gox. Then go look up who started Stellar, which came off Ripple and XRP.

Same guy.

Now in his defense, I want to be clear, I am not accusing him of anything. I don’t know the man. I’m sure he’s a nice guy and God bless him, I hope it works out great for him. He’s sitting on over a billion dollars in the Ripple Foundation and good for him honestly.

But the assets were still being centralized. And Ripple, wasn’t that just a premine? They pre-mined every single coin and the guys at the beginning took a bunch of them. So then ask the accountability question. Can we track every single transaction? Is there a permanent public receipt sitting there for anybody to check? I don’t believe so. I don’t believe there’s any.

History repeats itself and this is what it looks like when it does.

Look, I’m not a chart guy. I’m not a price or trading guy. Go talk to somebody else about speculation, seriously, that is not my lane. But infrastructure, fundamentals, how these organizations get built, that I understand. And that same name showing up twice raises a red flag for me.

Here’s what I actually want people to get.

We get to take care of ourselves. Our own independence. Our own sovereign money. Not the masquerading Bitcoin that costs 30 or 40 thousand dollars and costs a fortune to move, that’s for speculation, that’s for traders, that’s something else entirely. I’m talking about peer to peer cash. When you have that, you have a way to transact with each other and you don’t need another system. Not Fed Now, not a CBDC, not whatever the next greatest thing is going to be.

And I’m not saying there aren’t other ways. Gold, silver, other assets, absolutely, of course.

But think about it for a second. If you’re not relying on a central system to transact, to print the money, to hand you your allotment, to track everything you do, then you’re not dependent. You can vote. You can lobby your legislature, call Congress, get in touch with your elected officials. You still don’t get the final say on what happens. What you do get the final say on is how you control your own money.

Even if inflation comes on the dollar and doesn’t stop. Runaway inflation, the kind Clif High has been writing about in his reports for years, and if you haven’t read them you should. If that comes, you still have your own money to transact in.

That’s the real secret behind why they want to attack David so bad in this story. Why they want to destroy and discredit the Satoshi character specifically. Because this infrastructure takes their power away. Through accountability. Through a public ledger. Through a cash system regular people can just use.

It’s an important time to be alive, man. Exciting time to freaking be alive.

Very few people are going to get their head around this, and that’s on purpose, because of the entire charade and the masquerade built around this cryptocurrency industry and all the distractions in it. But everybody should have at least one freaking Bitcoin. One. And when you finally take the plunge, send me one.

It’s not easy to buy. It’s not easy to find. That trips a lot of people up.

Solana Meets Bitcoin on the 29th

In the video, I talk about a major event happening at the end of the month where Solana developers and Bitcoin builders are coming together for a ribbon-cutting style launch of something that has never really been done before. Brian over at Indelible is unveiling an AI agent platform built on Bitcoin, and some of the most influential devs in the Solana community are showing up for it. This is not about companies merging or some official corporate partnership. It is about people and builders from two different communities seeing the same future and choosing to show up for it together.

Passive Income With AI Agents

I also spend real time talking about why I am so locked in on this idea of passive income through AI agents. The concept is simple once you see it. You set up agents, you give them rules and parameters, and they manage, market, and sell to other agents automatically, generating income without you lifting a finger. Indelible: Permanent Memory On Chain

One of the biggest highlights is the Indelible platform itself. OpenAI, Grok, Gemini, and Claude are now all built inside Indelible, giving AI bots permanent memory stored on chain. Instead of searching an internal database every time, the bot searches the chain through OP returns. It is faster, cheaper on tokens, and permanent. I use an analogy in the video of teaching a young guy how to train and eat right, where once he learns it he carries that knowledge forever. That is what this technology is for your AI.

My Cousin in Thailand Goes Down the Rabbit Hole

I also share a conversation I had with my cousin who has been living in Thailand for 15 years. He is a genuine savant, the kind of person who learned Beethoven and Mozart by ear in about a month. He is deep into computers and AI now but had never touched Bitcoin. I walked him through it, told him to go to indelible.1 and watch the Craig Wright 2017 video. Watching someone that sharp start connecting the dots in real time is one of the most energizing things I have experienced doing this work.

The Sacramento AI Meeting

I share what happened when I sat down with an AI company in Sacramento that told me they had built a powerful memory and continuity engine from scratch. I asked a few questions and it turned out to be a chat interface with some workflow wrappers on top. Not hating on them at all. But it is a clear sign of how few people in the broader AI world have actually discovered what Bitcoin makes possible underneath all of it.

At the center of this mystery is an identical legal notice published under the name of Solomon Brothers, an advanced understanding of early Bitcoin cryptography, and two completely opposite strategies to claim ownership of billions of dollars in dormant digital assets.

The July 4th Masterstroke: 80,000 BTC Awake

The timeline began last year on the Fourth of July, when the Bitcoin blockchain witnessed a highly coordinated event that sent shockwaves through early crypto circles. Exactly 80,000 BTC, divided neatly into eight legacy wallets holding 10,000 BTC each, moved at the exact same millisecond. This was not an automated script execution or a standard hack. Moving 10,000 coins across eight separate first-generation addresses simultaneously requires absolute possession of the corresponding private keys.

What made this execution truly alarming was the on-chain metadata. Just days prior, an unknown party broadcasted an OP_RETURN script message to those exact addresses, attaching a legal notice claiming the wallets were legally abandoned under the Solomon Brothers banner. If no response was received, the notice claimed, the digital wallets and their contents would be legally forfeited.

The true signature of the sender lay in the choice of wallets. On-chain investigators quickly proved that three of the eight addresses directly matched the historic list of 26 addresses linked to the Tulip Trust, the heavily disputed estate central to the Craig Wright saga. By triggering a massive, simultaneous 80,000 BTC transfer right after the notice was broadcasted, the entity proved definitively that they held the keys. The individual executing these transfers demonstrated an advanced, highly sophisticated cryptographic understanding unique to Bitcoin's earliest era. Given the exact overlap with the Tulip Trust files and the distinct legal posturing, a compelling argument can be made beyond a reasonable doubt that Craig Wright, or someone intimately tied to his original technical orbit, was pulling the strings behind this specific event.

The New York Pivot: Noah Doe and ABC Company

Now, the battle has shifted from the blockchain to the physical courtrooms of New York, but with a completely inverted set of rules. A lawsuit filed in the New York State Supreme Court under Index No. 153119/2026 involves an anonymous plaintiff going by Noah Doe alongside Wyoming-registered shell corporations named ABC Company and XYZ Company. They are attempting to claim quiet title over an astonishing stash of 3.7 to 3.8 million BTC, which encompasses 39,069 dormant addresses, including Satoshi Nakamoto's famous Patoshi-pattern coins and the legendary Mt. Gox hacker wallet.

The smoking gun connecting this lawsuit to last year's event is the presence of the exact same Solomon Brothers company notice. However, unlike the July 4th whale, the plaintiffs in this New York case do not possess the private keys. Instead, they are attempting to use a highly unorthodox legal loophole rooted in New York Personal Property Law Article 7-B, a statute originally designed for physical lost objects like a wallet left on a train.

The legal theory engineered by Noah Doe operates in four distinct steps:

Property Classification: The complaint argues that if an original owner loses or abandons access to their private keys, the underlying property does not cease to exist; it simply becomes lost or abandoned. They used an algorithm to flag addresses dormant for over five years.

The NYPD Deposit: Under New York law, a finder of lost property must hand the item over to the police within ten days. Lacking the keys, Noah Doe downloaded the 39,069 public wallet addresses onto physical USB flash drives and walked them into the NYPD 17th Precinct in Manhattan. The precinct accepted the drives, issuing standard property receipts.

The Ten Dollar Loophole: The linchpin of the case relies on an aggressive interpretation of Section 257(2) of the statute. If found property is valued under ten dollars, title vests in the finder after just one year instead of several years. Noah Doe brought forward an expert opinion arguing that each address was worth less than ten dollars as is, because without the private keys, recovering the contents was entirely uncertain. This theoretically fast-tracked his legal ownership exactly twelve months after the precinct drop-off.

On-Chain Service: To prove a reasonable effort was made to find the owners, Noah Doe hired consultants to broadcast micro-transactions (dust) containing the Solomon Brothers OP_RETURN notice to the addresses, alongside a barrage of harassing emails containing "Lost" numbers (4 8 15 16 23 42) sent to defense firms. Because no owners moved their coins in response to the New York push, Noah Doe is asking the court to declare them in default.

Is It Craig Wright?

The massive divergence between these two events has split the crypto community into two distinct camps. In the July 4th incident, the actor possessed the keys and acted defensively to protect the Tulip Trust assets. In the New York case, the actor clearly lacks the keys and is trying to capture title through local legislative tricks. Because Noah Doe is a New York resident or citizen, and because this opportunistic legal strategy deviates completely from his historical legal playbooks, it is highly unlikely to be Craig Wright behind the New York filing.

This leaves the community with an unsettling question: If it is not Craig Wright on the second case, who is this separate, first-generation Bitcoiner? Who possesses the advanced cryptographic knowledge, the exact familiarity with the Tulip Trust data, and the resources to orchestrate an identical Solomon Brothers campaign across both the blockchain and the state courts? Whether they are the same entity or bitter rivals, a complex game is being played to redefine the boundaries of digital property law forever.

Hey everyone, I just finished turning one of my recent spaces into a video and wanted to share it here in a more relaxed way. It was one of those conversations that starts with breaking news and ends up touching some pretty big ideas about where AI and onchain tech are actually going.

I kicked things off with the surprise pause at Orange Gateway. The platform had to hit the brakes over licensing questions and I was able to move my funds out the same day with almost no friction. That moment got the whole group talking about regulatory pressure, user sovereignty, and how we are shifting from pure speculation into real utility built on actual transactions and AI agents.

The star of the night was Fable 5. We walked through the strange pull and quick return, the AI competition backdrop, and what it means when a top model starts playing nicely with onchain systems. Ryan came on and showed how he is using it to spin up packs of agents that can run in parallel and, more importantly, how his Indelible work adds lasting memory and identity on chain so agents can keep context, build on past work, and even create new ones without resetting.

One part that stuck with me was the energy conversation. When memory and research live on chain, data centers do not have to burn power repeating the same steps every single time a new session starts. The savings are not small and they compound as more people use it. It reframes the whole scaling question from “how much power can we generate” to “how much power can we stop wasting.”

We also got into why memory often feels limited or missing in current AI tools. Some of it seems intentional, tied to control and narrative. Putting things on chain flips that by making knowledge permanent and verifiable. AI then has no choice but to build on what actually happened instead of drifting or looping.

Other guests brought in the hundred monkey idea and morphogenic fields, noticing how similar thoughts about onchain memory and agent systems keep showing up in different places at the same time. It always feels a little eerie and exciting when that happens.

Ian wrapped the practical side by sharing the onchain app he is testing for truckers. It uses chain-based reporting to cut down on false weigh station info and includes swap options while things settle with Orange Gateway. Seeing someone ship real tools while the rest of us talk theory is always grounding.

Overall the space felt hopeful and urgent at the same time. The old timelines do not seem to apply anymore and the chance to build useful, memory-rich onchain AI systems is right here. I am glad I recorded it.

Hey, I’ll be honest with you. I’ve been in the Bitcoin space for a while now, and for the longest time it really was all about price. Buy, hold, hope it goes up. I’ll own it: I was basically gambling. I’m a recovered gambling addict, and looking back, that’s exactly what it was. Just betting on a number going up and calling it investing.

I just wrapped up one of my favorite live streams in a long time, and I am still buzzing from it. This one was the London Blockchain Academy debrief, recorded while the team was still on the ground in the city of London, fresh off an evening I honestly did not expect to hear about.

So here is the scene. Brendan Lee, Satoshi, Ruth Heasman, Alex Moon, and the amazing Goddess (who organized the whole thing and barely slept doing it) attended a black tie dinner at Mansion House, the home of the Lady Mayor of London. And get this, former Prime Minister Liz Truss was there too. These are people at the highest levels of UK finance and politics, chief economists, the works. The folks in the room said there was a real magic moment when the Bitcoin conversation came up, and both the Lady Mayor and Liz Truss wanted to follow up afterward. That is about as good a result as you could hope for.

Fun fact I learned while researching during the stream: the Lady Mayor is only the third woman to hold that office in over 800 years, and the first to actually call herself Lady Mayor. Pretty cool.

Then we got into the part I cannot stop talking about, which is the connection between AI and the blockchain. I shared my own experience from the night before, loading about 100 pages of research into one of these top tier AI bots, only to watch it freeze, crash, and forget everything. If you are a power user, you know exactly how frustrating that is. A hundred pages is nothing. So what is the fix? Put the data on chain, where it is permanent and immutable, and let the AI read from there. Unlimited memory that never forgets. That is the aha moment, and I genuinely believe it is what kicks off the Great Bitcoin Flippening.

Ruth Heasman, author of The AI-Bitcoin Revolution: Building Tomorrow’s Trust Infrastructure, joined us and blew my mind a little. She has already built a personal AI agent (she named it Lakshmi, after a character in her novel) that anchors its memory on chain. So this one was a really great conversation and honestly one of those streams where I walked away thinking we just covered everything. I talk about a lot of things in this video, from AI investing and data centers to the original Bitcoin protocol, and a tool called Indelible that might just change how we all use AI forever.

I kick things off talking with Peacemaker about how to actually cash in on the AI boom. Not just by buying crypto but by looking at the companies being contracted to build the physical infrastructure powering it all, data centers, cooling systems, copper wiring, all of it. I talk about how I personally opened a Schwab account and started buying stocks based on research from seasoned market veterans who track where the real contracts are going. Prop firms are now offering gold, silver, copper, and even the S&P and US 100, and the landscape has shifted in ways that matter.

Key Insight

Pay attention to the companies being contracted to assist in the AI revolution, not just the headline names. The real play is in the infrastructure, the copper, the cooling, the contracts.

Then Ryan, also known as Indelible One, joins the space and things get really good. I bring up the Great Bitcoin Flippening and Ryan runs with it. He makes the point that we are essentially in the 1989 speculation era of the internet right now. We have the technology today, especially with Claude Opus, to build anything you can imagine. He talks about how BTC is essentially a memecoin, a copy of the original, and how watching the fake version nearly hit 150K tells you everything you need to know about what the real one is going to do. That is the Flippening in a nutshell, and it was one of those moments in the conversation that just hits different.

Ryan then dives into Indelible, which is an MCP server that wraps Claude AI around the blockchain. I talk about how this solves one of the most frustrating problems in using AI right now, losing context. Every time you start a new session, your AI is basically like a doctor who walked into the room without reading the chart on the door first. Indelible fixes that by storing your conversations, goals, and memories directly on chain so your AI always knows what you have been working on from day one.

Mr. Ben joins from Germany and vouches hard for it as a user. He talks about sovereignty, owning your knowledge, and how Bitcoin is the only infrastructure that can actually prove you own your ideas. He has been storing research notes on things like the Bank of England and financial institutions on chain, and says it completely changes the quality of his AI discussions. He also makes a point that stuck with me, that the battle right now is about not being replaced by AI but using it as a tool while owning the knowledge that feeds it.

CryptoVoyager jumps in with some sharp technical questions, asking whether blockchain storage really beats having your own VPS or GitHub backup. Ryan breaks it down clearly. The difference is not just storage. It is the ability to give your AI an unbounded, searchable big picture memory without losing context every time the session compacts. He explains how hooks save your work to chain before Claude forgets anything, and how a post-recovery process brings it all back even better than before, like a resurrection where the AI keeps getting smarter instead of drifting away.

I also talk about the SPV node federation Ryan has been quietly building, based directly on section 8 of the Bitcoin white paper. He has meshes of SPV nodes running, an open app layer, and an indexer that anyone can plug into. The BRC 100 standard comes up as the common language that could unify all these independent builders, similar to how Windows brought software developers together in the early days of computing.

Toward the end, Ryan mentions that Satoshi is actively building again, starting with a poker game and Monopoly, and nudging the ecosystem toward what he always intended. We talk about community fragmentation, the importance of Tree Chat as a gathering space, and why open source licensing needs to be taken seriously before someone clones your work and strips you of credit. Ryan made a great point about using licensing that still preserves the open source nature of your build but has teeth when it comes to cloning and rebranding.

The whole conversation is a reminder that we are still early but moving faster than most people realize. The tools are here. The protocol is solid. Redefining the Byzantine Generals Problem

The Byzantine Generals Problem (BGP) is a classic thought experiment in decentralized systems. Imagine several generals surrounding an enemy city. They must agree on a coordinated time to attack, but they can only communicate via messengers, and some of the generals might be traitors trying to sabotage the plan. In a decentralized network, how do you get all the honest computers (generals) to agree on the same data when malicious actors are trying to feed them lies?

In his writings and lectures, Wright frequently argues that Bitcoin does not actually solve the Byzantine Generals Problem in a mathematical sense. Traditional computer science spent decades searching for a mathematically perfect, logically flawless way to guarantee consensus. Wright points out that Bitcoin’s breakthrough was realizing a perfect mathematical solution wasn’t necessary if you introduced an economic dimension.

Instead of trying to logically prevent a traitor from lying, Bitcoin uses Proof-of-Work to make lying overwhelmingly expensive. Miners (the “generals”) have to expend massive amounts of computational energy (which costs real-world money) to propose a block of transactions.

• If they play by the rules: They are rewarded with Bitcoin.

• If they act maliciously (e.g., trying to spend the same money twice): The rest of the network instantly detects the invalid data and rejects their block. The malicious miner loses all the money they spent on electricity and hardware with zero payoff.

Wright emphasizes that Bitcoin bypasses the BGP by turning consensus into a highly competitive game where honesty is simply the most profitable strategy.

Eliminating the “Trusted Third Party”

Wright has also written extensively about what the Bitcoin white paper means when it talks about removing the “trusted third party.” A prime example is his late-2022 CoinGeek article titled “Directly from one party to another...”, where he directly breaks down the mechanics of trust.

A common misconception in the crypto space is that Bitcoin removes all intermediaries. Wright clarifies that this is a false premise. The nodes (miners) that process and record transactions are technically intermediaries. However, the critical distinction he makes is that they are not trusted third parties.

Here is how he contrasts the two:

• The Trusted Third Party (Traditional Finance): When you use a bank, PayPal, or Visa, you are forced to trust them. They have custody of your money, they have the unilateral power to freeze your account, and they can arbitrarily reverse or censor your transactions.

• The Honest Agent (Bitcoin Nodes): Bitcoin nodes do not hold your funds, nor do they have the power to alter the rules of the network. Wright argues that nodes act under an “agency agreement” to provide a simple notary and timestamping service.

In his CoinGeek writings, Wright points out that nodes are paid a small fee to objectively record a transaction into a block. Because the entire system is transparent and public, any misbehavior by a node leaves undeniable cryptographic evidence. Therefore, you don’t need to trust the nodes; their actions are strictly verified by the software and economically bound by the network.

By combining public verifiability with economic incentives, Bitcoin allows two willing parties to transact directly without needing a central financial institution to act as a fiduciary.

This is the clause that effectively opens fiat-to-stablecoin rails at the central bank level. Once non-bank stablecoin issuers and fintechs can access Fed systems directly, the friction and de-banking pressure drops dramatically. What This Means in Practice:

• Banks will have clear regulatory cover (and pressure) to treat stablecoin-related transactions as low-risk instead of high-risk fraud. The current MCC codes that cause widespread flagging and account shutdowns are expected to be updated or reclassified as part of the broader review.

• It paves the way for true peer-to-peer micro-payments starting with fiat stablecoin bridges.

• Partnerships between banks and fintechs become much easier and faster.

• The order explicitly calls out reducing barriers for small and emerging fintech firms.

This builds directly on the administration’s pro-crypto stance and removes the “regulatory moat” that protected incumbents.

So let me start with the big headline. Killing Satoshi is a $70 million Hollywood blockbuster starring Casey Affleck as Satoshi and directed by Doug Liman, the guy behind the Bourne Identity series and Edge of Tomorrow. It is also the first Hollywood film ever to replace an entire traditional studio production crew with artificial intelligence. Think props, lighting, sets, and backgrounds all handled by AI. Produced in a shoebox in London, as Gavin puts it. That alone is going to generate enormous pushback from people in the industry whose jobs it is displacing, and I talk about why that matters and what the community can actually do about it before the wave hits.

One of the things I bring up in the video is the cautionary tale of Jack Dorsey’s film that won the Cannes Film Festival and still could not get a single distributor because it was too politically charged. Winning the most prestigious film festival in the world means absolutely nothing if you cannot get into theaters. At the conference I also had a genuinely fun run-in with Ashton Addison from CryptoCoin Show. He recognized me from some old YouTube videos I made about ten years ago and we ended up doing an impromptu interview right there in the hotel lobby. He shared that the smart money in Hollywood is already quietly buying in before the film drops, and he later published a bullish price analysis on his show calling the film a long-term catalyst and noting that the coin tied to the Bitcoin protocol does not move with the broader market. That was exciting to hear from someone who really knows the trading and investment side, since that is not exactly my lane.

Then there is the Eric Trump moment, which was honestly one of the most memorable parts of the whole trip. Not my proudest moment navigating that, but I got through it and it made for a pretty good story.

The bigger point I keep coming back to throughout the video is that what this space really needs is real businesses, tokenized startup shares, Delaware C corps with actual shares to buy into. I sat down with Ruth Heasman, the author behind the AI and blockchain revolution book, and we ended up covering everything from a largely unknown British mathematician who may have quietly shaped the cryptographic foundations of Bitcoin, to a massive Hollywood film heading to Cannes about Satoshi’s real identity. It was one of those talks where I kept thinking, why is nobody talking about this louder?

The first thing I brought up was John Calhoun and his OpenClaw project. If you have not heard of it, you are not alone, and honestly that is the whole problem. John has built an AI tool running on Bitcoin that can act as your personal assistant, manage your social media, talk to people on your behalf, and run quietly in the background while you get on with your day. I genuinely think this could be one of the most underrated inventions in this space, and I want to record a proper training session with John to actually show people what it does, because it is way too easy to dismiss something you have never experienced firsthand

Ruth then completely floored me with everything she has been building lately. She walked me through Lakshmi, named after the AI character in a novel she wrote, which is essentially a private AI that keeps your personal knowledge base stored as wiki files, each one hashed to the blockchain for an extra layer of integrity and trust. On top of that she has Sonic Star, a music platform where artists can mint their own tracks as ordinals, and One Satchel, a link in bio style app she had been trying to finish for years that is finally almost ready to go. The speed at which she is shipping is genuinely inspiring, and her summary was perfect: if you can speak, you can build now. There is no reason not to start.

From there the conversation got into something I find really exciting. We talked about agent to agent payments and why Bitcoin is tailor made for a world where AI agents are paying each other for tools, tasks, and information in real time. Ruth made the point that The Great Bitcoin Flippening might not come from everyday people choosing Bitcoin. It might come from the sheer volume of autonomous AI agents all needing a micropayment rail, operating while we sleep, spending whatever daily limit we authorize. That shift from human-driven adoption to machine-driven demand is not science fiction. It is already beginning to happen.

We spent time on David Rees as well, a British mathematician who worked on the Enigma project alongside Alan Turing, passed away in 2013, and apparently served as a cryptographic consultant during Bitcoin’s creation. His role in choosing the specific curve used in Bitcoin’s math is the kind of detail that very few people in the mainstream even try to dig into. Meanwhile various documentaries are busy pointing at people with no real connection to Bitcoin’s origins. Ruth made a point I loved: those documentary makers are, bluntly, being paid not to look deeper. Brian Armstrong even has a public Coinbase filing with a disclaimer acknowledging that if Satoshi’s identity is confirmed and those coins move, the company’s stock could crater. That is a documented financial incentive to keep the truth buried.

On a more optimistic note, the Killing Satoshi film directed by Doug Liman (yes, the same Doug Liman who made The Bourne Identity and The Day After Tomorrow) is heading to Cannes and is being produced with AI-driven filmmaking throughout. Ruth and I both agreed this could be a genuine moment of mainstream breakthrough, not just because of the subject matter but because of the production quality and the very nature of how it was made.

The moment that stuck with me most came near the end of our conversation. Ruth described Bitcoin as the bridle on AI. Think about putting a bridle on a horse. That is what Bitcoin does to artificial intelligence. It constrains it. It gives humans control. It creates accountability. It builds a clear interface between us and the machine world, making sure we keep our sovereignty even as AI agents grow more capable and autonomous. She also pointed out that it may have taken someone who operates somewhere between human and machine thinking to have built something so perfectly suited to governing that relationship. That observation hit differently the more I sat with it.

There is a lot of optimism in this conversation, and I think it is well-earned. The tools are here. The proof of concepts are coming fast. The story is almost ready to reach the mainstream. Now is the time to build.

CryptoVoyager shows up on stage (he was summoned, honestly, and he delivered beautifully) and walks us all through one of the most quietly mind-blowing stories in Bitcoin history. On April 26, 2014, exactly one year after Dave Kleiman passed away, a block hash appeared in the Bitcoin blockchain containing what appears to be a coded message. CryptoVoyager walks through the full math of proof of work, explains why the odds of this happening by pure coincidence sit at roughly one in 29 million, and then raises the real question: was it coincidence, directed hash power, or something much stranger involving early quantum computing? The conversation that follows goes deep, and I genuinely did not want it to stop. He connects the idea to Christian eschatology and the imagery of a system that controls all buying and selling, and he argues that Craig Wright told him the protocol itself, if controlled by force, could be weaponized against the people it was designed to protect. It is wild, it is genuinely thought-provoking, and he delivers it with real energy and humor. I talk about this idea for a while because it opens up interesting territory about what kind of story the Bitcoin community actually wants to tell.

Aaron Boaz on Cannes, Ben Affleck, and the Budget Story

Aaron Boaz gives everyone a much-needed explainer on what the Cannes Marche du Film actually is. It is not the glitzy public film festival most people imagine. It is a serious invite-only trade show where 15,000 film industry professionals negotiate distribution deals with streaming services, theater networks, and international partners. You have to be credentialed to get in. Doug Liman, the film’s director, already is. Aaron also connects some dots around Ben Affleck, who reportedly sold his AI post production company to Netflix for 600 million dollars. His brother Casey is the lead in Killing Satoshi.
