I’m that friend who follows up a conversation with a spreadsheet: jobs you should apply for, outfits you should buy, flights you should absolutely book before the fare doubles.

I have a complicated relationship with research. I pretend to hate it, but left unsupervised I’ll spend four hours comparing carry-on suitcases, credit cards, and Portuguese beach towns.

Mascs, if you hate shopping, read this part

• Never heard of half these stores? That’s the point. Scuffers, Bru, Twojeys, Assembly - click one item, wander the whole site. The sheet is a map, not just a list. Also sometimes the bangers be hiding in stores you forgot about.

• Don’t worry about buying the same thing. It’s all in the styling. Same pant, completely different human/look.

• Read the notes column. Sizing & styling intel lives there. General rule for menswear: size up because cis mens’s hips are inches smaller than most AFAB folks - which skews the sizing.

• The vintage section is one-of-one. If the ‘70s raglan is calling you, buy it today. When the listing dies, steal my searched words instead.

Ami Paris Boxy Shirt — $318 → $222 right now. Wear open over a white tank forever.

Scuffers MOBB Camo Pants, €79 (~$90). Wide-leg camo with front pleats. European sizing, check the chart.

Uniqlo Barrel Pants, $50. Saved the least glamorous. Best cost-per-wear on the sheet. Comes in tall & petite, they do shrink a bit.
