It means putting down the protective layers and opening my heart up wide again.

Opening it up after it became a bit guarded - without even knowing that was what I did.

Two weeks of bronchitis showed me this.

We can tell ourselves all the stories in the world, but the crux is: we either lead from a full open heart, or not.

We can still lead highly functional lives from a heart that isn’t fully open.

I did.

But it comes with a cost.

And on Lion’s Gate, I heard “enough with the penance”.

Because guarding our hearts, whilst it serves as momentary protection, eventually becomes penance.

I am indebted to my fully open heart.

My fully open heart has changed the trajectory of my life many times.

Not just small changes. Big needle-moving quantum-shifting timelines.

Irrefutable points of no return.

Two weeks of bronchitis, of going inwards as there was no energy for outward give, also showed me that I’ve lived three seasons in the last 20+ years.

Season 1 where I took a big, giant leap from a place of radical responsibility and surrendered into the intelligence of eight words given to me by my son who’d passed away.

Season 2 which asked me to go deeper into presence, intuition, authenticity, responsibility, surrender, trust, faith, grace and miracle frequency. I was given flags to fly - to stand for the premises of Authenticity is Profitable and Nothing but Miracles.

And now Season 3 is here.

Another point of no return, as I acknowledge that I’ve outgrown the perimeters that have held my work beautifully to date.

And instead, I’ve been discovering the scale of availability for the gold that is in my hands.

Gold that says “as above, so below. Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven”.

Humility is provoking me - “Who am I to keep this for the select few”?

This is therefore a season of Radical Availability.

And I am reopening the distribution channels much wider - through several Great Acts of Radical Availability.

And now I circle back to my heart.

How could I ever intuitively see that I’ve moved into Season 3 if my heart wasn’t open?

How could I ever make my work radically available if my heart was still guarded?

I’m walking a lot at the moment. Consciously walking with an open heart and seeing things that are taking me to my knees - not only for myself, but for others standing at the edge.

I am grateful that I am remembering what it feels like to lead from a wide, trusting, innocent - but wiser - open heart again.

Like then, I have something new to say, something new to lead, something new to call forward and gather.

Because I see.

I have been gifted with an intuitive sight that sees the past, that sees the purpose of the past, not only for what it was in service to then, but for what it wants to emerge into now.

I have been gifted with an intuitive sight that looks upon these past seasons in awe for what they created and enabled then - truly lifetimes of change, for those past and gone before us, for us here now, and for those yet to come.

And I have been gifted with an intuitive sight that sees the dawn of a new season, painted by who we became and grew with roots deep enough to bend with the storms, but too deeply embedded to ever be torn from the ground.

Sometimes I see before others do.

And I am seeing things very clearly now.

We’ve travelled seasons across our lives.

In Season 1, at the time of our awakening, we are asked to surrender and leap. It was a time of trust, courage and faith. Will I now act on what I have come to know?

In Season 2, we were asked to own and stand for the flags we fly. It was a time of deepening, conviction and audacity. Will I now stand for what has been revealed to me to lead?

And now, in Season 3, we are asked to open and disseminate. It is a time of availability, expansion and abundance. Will I now open and make who I am and what I am here to lead radically available?

If Season 3 were an album, it would be called The Greatest Acts of Radical Availability.

What have you been given that you are now being asked to make radically available?

Not in the same ways you have in the past. Nor in the same distribution channels.

New ways. New distribution channels.

Because you are a messenger, and the depth of love and wisdom cultivated through all you have lived and toiled through over the years now seeks to go wide. It seeks to travel far beyond the perimeters you have led within and without to date.

And thus, Season 3 asks the messenger to surrender again.

To allow new vehicles, technologies, rooms, conversations, collaborations and possibilities to carry what you have been given further than your own two hands ever could.

To make you, your work, your leadership and your impact radically available.

And….

To surrender into this season of radical availability, there is a question I have to ask, and I trust this will land like a harpoon of radical honesty.

What parts of your heart, your authority, your genius and your humanity have you kept behind a partially closed door?

Because when things cost us deeply, we protect ourselves.

We reduce our availability.

This season requires us to allow our hearts to become available again, and to trust that we have the discernment and wisdom to lead differently this time.

This is the season I see dawning.

And I don’t believe I am the only one standing at its edge.

And perhaps that is why I feel nervous.

Because leading a season of radical availability starts with me.

It means putting down the protective layers and opening my heart up wide again.

And this is where I begin.

Read more

Enough with the penance. Uncuff yourself.

Because you can no longer pretend you don’t know that you exiled part of your authority, your genius, your sacred leadership, your heart to avoid ever being hurt again.

You didn’t disappear.

You remained highly functional while making less of yourself available.

Because you closed the door to make sure that the part of you whose full expression had cost you so dearly, was never given full access to the house again.

And so you protected yourself by reducing your availability to love, life, intimacy, joy, creation, receiving, leadership, contribution - everything.

I know, because I did too.

And that’s enough now.

That’s enough of the self-abandonment, because that’s what it is.

It’s decision time.

The irony is that through the contrast of shrivelling, you now know it’s time to make your sacred leadership, your love, your life, your living significantly more available.

Now is the time to scale YOU.

What does scale look like when the thing being scaled is actually YOU and what you withdrew?

You see, shrivelling wasn’t wasted time.

It created contrast.

It had you see what keeping that door closed cost you - on all levels - including those who did not receive your God zone genius because you kept them out…including you.

You thought you were protecting yourself from being hurt again. But protection required you to become less available.

And that’s enough now.

Love’s invitation is here, and it is unmistakable.

You are at the point of no return.

The season of penance is ending.

Uncuffing yourself is the liberation.

And becoming significantly more available is the choice.

More available to your sacred leadership.
More available to your genius.
More available to love.
More available to receiving.
More available to joy.
More available to the impact and contribution you are here to make.
More available to life.

“Complete Metabolic Response with no evidence of active disease.” 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

News like this is everything to me. ❤️

Read more

Why do you keep doing that?

Why do you keep doing that to yourself?

Distrusting the very thing that pours through you, believing that it doesn’t belong.

That it’s not conventional enough.

That it’s not shiny enough.

Why do you keep doing that to yourself?

Believing in the lie that you have to heal, and regulate your nervous system.

You are not broken.

Your spirit is agitated, and that is the consequence of containment.

Please, can you no longer pretend that you didn’t put a self-imposed lock on your free and wild spirit?

You locked it up for the shame of what you’d done wrong.

For the mistakes you made.

For the mess you caused.

For the trust that you lost.

Even for the bigot you were named.

And yet that spirit of yours shifted timelines in inexplicable ways.

And it not only shifted them for you. It shifted them for others.

Because you were brave.

And generous.

And bold.

Because when that threshold appeared, you intuitively knew that you were to cross from one reality into another.

And in this knowing there was no certainty. There was no evidence or proof or guarantees.

But you knew.

And maybe you couldn’t even describe what you knew in words.

But you knew.

And, you could no longer pretend that you didn’t know.

That was the moment when the decision to cross became so unambiguous in your knowing that it was unmistakable.

And you said yes.

You said yes to something invisible to everyone but you.

Do you realise how magnificent that is?

How magnificent it is to decide from something that is invisible to everyone, but you.

Those mistakes weren’t mistakes.

How could they ever be mistakes when they forged who you are today?

How could they ever be mistakes when you are the one who meets life all in?

How could they ever be mistakes when you are the one who made an agreement to walk this pilgrimage from fear to love?

And now there is another threshold to cross.

Another timeline to move from and into.

It’s here. Right now.

You recognise its signs, its symptoms, its feelings.

You know the precursors of a threshold very well.

Welcome back. I recognise you.

Welcome home. You belong here.

You thought you needed healing.

You thought you needed regulating.

You thought you needed containing.

Uncuff yourself.

And be free to lead from the untameable, wildly alive and unconventional nature of your spirit.

Enough with the penance.

Enough with the penance for what you believe you have wronged.
And that with being truly sorry, there is always a cost.
That the extraordinary must leave you for a while so everybody, including you, can know that you learned your lesson.

Enough.

Enough with levelling yourself out because you couldn’t prosper whilst others were in misery.

Enough with reducing yourself and making yourself smaller, not because you hadn’t grown, but because you had.

Enough with becoming ordinary enough that nobody can accuse you of having too much.

Enough with your silence and flying under the radar because you won’t get hurt there.

Enough with this self-imposed sentence where you exiled part of your own authority.

Where you exiled the magic, and closed your own books.

Enough with making struggle evidence that you’ve repented.

Love needs human hands to do its work.
But Love never said the hands had to do everything.

You know the hands that created the inexplicable - that shifted timelines in an instant because your hands and the magic were One.

You forgot these magical hands though, in this season of apology.

And so personal effort toiled in place of these wondrous hands.

But now enough.

Enough of this season of penance.

For you and Love are One, and are only separate in your mind.

You’ve pretended to be who you are not for long enough now, and ordinary does not become you.

So come out of exile.

Take back the authority you made yourself wrong for having.
Take back the magic you made yourself wrong for knowing.
Take back the receiving you made yourself wrong for wanting.

And do not make another home of the place you went to punish yourself.

The sentence is over.

You are free to prosper.
You are free to be seen.
You are free to receive.
You are free to create the inexplicable again.

And this time, do not apologise when it comes.

Let it be unmistakably magical because this is your point of no return.

And by now you should know that making yourself smaller was never repentance.

It was abandonment.

And may you never abandon yourself again.

On Monday morning, I heard the words “You are so unbelievably brave.”

As I coached people throughout the week, again and again I kept thinking: You are so unbelievably brave.

Then I realised those words belonged to something much bigger.

Over the past twenty two years, I’ve worked with people navigating leadership, business, relationships, grief, illness, identity and extraordinary change.

The subject matter has been different.

The circumstances have been different.

The outcomes have been different.

Yet while writing The Way of Your Spirit, I suddenly recognised the thread that has connected them all.

Those who choose to follow the way of their spirit are unbelievably brave.

Not because they don’t feel fear.

But because, again and again, they choose to let Love lead - no matter what.

Courage is often misunderstood. We imagine that courage belongs to extraordinary moments - standing on stages, launching businesses, responding to difficult diagnoses, leaving relationships, making bold announcements….

And of course, it does.

But there’s a more subtle definition that I’d like to share here.

It’s remaining faithful to what you know when certainty hasn’t yet arrived.

It’s allowing Love to lead when fear would much rather negotiate another decision.

Trust doesn’t begin before we step.

It grows because we step.

We don’t think ourselves into trust.

We experience ourselves into it.

Every wholehearted yes becomes another lived experience that our spirit really was leading us all along.

Perhaps that’s why I’ve met so many courageous people. Because they kept participating in the way of their spirit despite the uncertainty.

The reel above honours some of those people.

And in the process of creating it, a series of four personal letters poured out of me called Learn to Trust the Way of Your Spirit.

Together they explore four questions that have shaped my own life and the lives of so many people I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside:

I’ve half written four books so far over the years.

And now I realise that I was being asked to become the person who could finally write this one.

The Way of Your Spirit
A pilgrimage from fear to love.

Following an intuitive nudge after a Beautiful Madness group call, this book began to write itself... until I realised a book was being written.

I have no plan.

No predetermined structure.

My spirit tells me what to write, either through a feeling or a thought, and as I write, the purpose, the premises, the stories and even the chapters reveal themselves.

It feels like I’m in a current, and each day it reveals what wants to be written next. I am really enjoying the process!

And so over the coming months, I’d love to share pieces of this book with you as it unfolds. Not once it’s finished....but while I’m living the very pilgrimage I’m writing about.

As I honour the way of my spirit through this book, my hope is that you honour yours.

So that you become an unobstructed expression of love through every dimension of being human.

Because I’ve come to believe that The Way of Your Spirit is what remains when fear no longer edits the movement of your spirit.

How do we come to know the way of our spirit?

Not by creating it.

But by remembering it.

By walking a pilgrimage from fear to love, again and again and again.

By noticing where fear has taught us to diminish ourselves.

Where we’ve forgotten who we are.

Where we’ve mistaken conditioning for truth.

Where we’ve become loyal to who we thought we needed to be instead of who Love has always known us to be.

Every act of remembering removes another layer of forgetting.

Every act of love reveals another movement of our spirit.

And each time we remember, fear loosens its grip.

We come to know what matters to our hearts.

We come to know our voice and what it wants to say.

We come to know the practices that help us lead ourselves well.

We come to know the purpose of our precious love.

We come to know what we have been entrusted to steward.

We come to know the unique way our spirit longs to move through the world.

We come to know the ripples that only we can create.

And perhaps above all...

We come to know humility.

And through all of that, we come to know the way of our spirit.

When we lead from the way of our spirit, we are liberated in thought, action, belief, behaviour, assumption, historical evidence, statistics, rules, opinion, trauma, relational dynamics, environments and identity.

We are not bound by our circumstances.

We are free.

What does love look like when it is fully expressed through a human life?

I think that’s the question this book is really asking.

Not because fear disappears.

But because love is finally leading.

We walk from fear to love...

so that love becomes liberated...

so that our unique spirit can express itself...

so that the world receives the love only we can bring.

It took me four attempts to realise I wasn’t being asked to write four different books.

Each one honoured the way my spirit was moving at that time.

Each one was preparing me for this one.

I also have a feeling this book is asking to become more than a book.

It wants to become a conversation.

I have a feeling The Way of Your Spirit is asking to become more than a book. It wants to become an experience. And so I’m beginning to explore what that might look like through monthly in-person gatherings in Sydney.

If that idea resonates, I’d love to know.

For now, though, I’ll keep writing.

And I’ll keep sharing the pilgrimage as it unfolds.

Those who know me know that I love being a contrarian. Which is kind of funny because I was a “good girl” when I was younger.

I never jumped out of windows at night like my son did.

I never snuck alcohol or was where I shouldn’t be.

And yet, somewhere along the way, I became suspicious of conventional wisdom.

And then through personal and witnessed experience, I grew a deep conviction that love and radical responsibility, when combined with intuition, trust, faith and grace, can create realities that transcend trauma, suffering, failure, depression, diagnosis’ and breakdown.

Last week I wrote an article about being in the “sacred in-between” - no longer belonging to the former me, yet not fully manifested in my current identity.

Email after email arrived telling me how deeply that piece resonated.

In that article, I wrote that the path of awakening was no longer my primary devotion.

Not because awakening is ever complete.

But because another path has emerged.

Stewardship.

Stewarding the mission wider, rather than going deeper within myself.

And devotion to bringing what has been revealed (and then revealed and then revealed) into physical form.

I wrote that intuition, technology and infrastructure are not the anti-Christ.

That sacred scale is not a betrayal of soul.

That technology can be an expression of love in service to our voice being received beyond the intimate and precious environments of referrals and communities, that I have known so well.

That technology is an amplifier.

Being a contrarian is at the very heart of what I am stewarding.

Right now, I’m deep in Meta advertising land.

Learning the technology.

Learning the art.

Learning how to share my love and wisdom wider through a six-part meditation series called Mindset is Medicine for people living with cancer.

This product itself is contrarian.

It invites people into self-agency.

It invites them to meet fear with love.

To meet uncertainty with trust.

To meet diagnosis with courage.

To meet cancer as a catalyst rather than solely as a perpetrator.

And every time I become bolder in communicating that message, another email arrives telling me someone has purchased.

Now may I be contrarian with you.

If you identify as being on the path of Stewardship, rather than Awakening…

You probably do not need another $40K Mastermind.

You probably do not need intensive 1:1 coaching.

Which is ironic coming from a coach.

Because at a certain stage of leadership, transmutation is no longer the bottleneck.

Stewardship is.

Your time, money and energy may be better invested in:

Practices that allow revelation after revelation to come forth (enter the Abundant Leader Meds)….hosted here on Substack.

The devotion required to bring those revelations into physical form.

Learning new skills.

Authorship.

Technology.

AI.

Marketing.

Creation.

Allowing those skills to expand your capacity for impact.

Working with inspiration in real time.

Fully enjoying the creative autonomy these tools now make possible.

Being in reverence for what is available to us now that wasn’t here a few years ago.

AI is not the devil.

Not if you understand that you are the source.

You provide the wisdom.

You provide the perspective.

You provide the discernment.

AI simply helps carry it further and faster.

And if you identify as being on the path of Stewardship, and we are connected, I suspect there is something else true about you.

You are probably a contrarian too.

Because the role of a steward is to bring the new into the world.

To see what others cannot yet see.

To trust what others cannot yet trust.

And to build what others cannot yet imagine.

My current intensive 1:1 work is with people who have cancer, and others who are awakening.

My work with those stewarding the new takes place through 9 Sessions - nine conversations taken when the call arises - or through Beautiful Madness, a group devoted to the practice of writing, creating and bringing revelation into form.
