Over the last few years there has been a great influx of “former” witches that claim to have converted to Christianity.

That would be wonderful - if they really had converted.

But it is very bad if they have not converted, but are on a mission to infiltrate and destroy.

Infiltration is a classic attack, as we see already in Acts chapter 8, where Simon, tried to infiltrate the Church in Samaria.

To infiltrate the other side is a classic tactic.

We see this in politics, we see it when it comes to competing businesses, we see how opposition groups are infiltrated – and we see that witches are trying to infiltrate Christianity.

In this article we will take a look at the facts as they are, so let’s start with;

How to recognize infiltrators?

Wanting to teach others.

It is very basic that a new convert will not try to be a teacher. First she or he needs to learn. And if coming from a witch background, it will naturally be a much longer learning time, compared to if coming from a more ordinary background. This is as basic as that 1 + 1 = 2.

So if you see a newly converted “former” witch, wanting to tell/teach others what to do, and how to live - this is a really big, big warning sign.

And as we know - today there are many of these on social media.

(To evangelize is of course a completely different thing. That is from day one. But for some “strange” reason… … these so-called converted witches seem not so interested in evangelizing… ...but rather want to teach others.)

What do they teach?

It is blindingly obvious that if a person recently has converted from an opposite political party, but after his conversion – he pushes his old party’s agenda – everyone will know that this guy is an infiltrator.

It is equally obvious that a “former” witch, (which should not teach to start with – but when she anyway does) – if she was a true convert – she would for sure teach classic Christian teaching.

However this is not at all the case with many of these so called converted “former” witches.

Not only that they teach – many of them also teach gross heretic teachings.

Needless to say – this is clearly not a true convert - but an infiltrator whose goal is to destroy Christianity from within.

And if you warn them, and they continue – then you know for certain that this indeed is an infiltrator.

It does not matter if it is a close relative or friend – 1+1 still = 2.

What is their main heretic teachings?

One of their main and most dangerous teachings is sexual immorality.

It is a well known fact that it is a classic tactic among witches, and other enemies of Christianity, to use sexual immorality, revealing clothing and so on, in hope to make life hard for Christian unmarried men and women.

This tactic we see used already in the Old Testament over 3500 years ago, when Balaam taught Balak to put a stumbling block before the children of Israel, and one way in which he did it was by sending in women to get them to commit sexual immorality:

“But I have a few things against you, because you have there those who hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balak to put a stumbling block before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed to idols, and to commit sexual immorality.”

(Revelation 2:14 NKJV)

We know from personal experience how this wrecked the life of my father in law / my dad, and this is a really, really evil attack, that has wrecked so many lives.

We all know that witches that openly are enemies of Christianity use this tactic.

But now, some of these so called converted “former” witches, are pushing sexual immorality, revealing clothing and so on, whilst claiming to be Christians – just like Simon claimed.

This is really, really ugly and plain evil.

We all know that for many people, sexual addiction is a very real problem. Just like alcohol and drugs are. Both for men and for women.

Yes, there are dedicated rehabilitation centres, to try to help people that are struggling in this area.

Some girls longing for attention might, maybe unknowingly, cause problems for some men.

But these “former” witches, are not just girls longing for attention that do this unknowingly. Not at all. From their witch background they know very well how very damaging this can be for some men. And they know that this is a weapon of choice among witches to try to inflict damage to Christian men and marriages.

Knowing this so very well, to then after their so called conversion, for these “former” witches to use this very, very ugly weapon, in order to try to destroy Christian men and families, is extremely evil and ugly.

And not only do these “former” witches aim for destroying men - they know very well that falling into the trap of wanting attention to their body, is a huge problem for many women, and that many, many women that have fallen into this sin, have ended up in divorce, adultery and broken marriages and families.

As such - getting women to think that they should clothe in a manner that draws attention to their bodies, is a powerful weapon against women.

These “former” witches of course know this very well.

For these “former” witches that know this so very well, to encourage women to dress in revealing clothes – knowing full and well that it will destroy many of them that listen to them – is evil almost beyond belief.

So we clearly see that these “former” witches, are not real converts at all – on the contrary.

They are under cover infiltrators, that work ruthlessly towards their goal and mission of destroying Christianity from within and of wrecking the lives of Christian men, women, children and families.

Needless to say, they will not say openly whom they really are, and what their real goal is - but instead they try to find deceptive excuses for doing this, hoping to deceive as many people as possible.

After all, a mouse will not eat the mouse poison if it is not mixed with food.

Some of these are clever, and many probably also have backers helping them with the strategy, so you will see that they mix the poison with messages you might agree with.

Or using something you might like, but perverting its meaning, claiming that sexual immorality is part of it, like;

1 Femininity

They might claim that going with revealing clothes is feminine(!)

(I am not joking – they are actually doing this.)

That is an obvious and blatant lie. There is absolutely nothing feminine whatsoever with clothing in revealing clothes.

Or do they really mean that a prostitute is the most feminine woman on earth.

No, revealing clothes and challenging positions has absolutely nothing to do with femininity. On the contrary - it is not feminine at all.

A real feminine woman, dresses like a beautiful sunset – not like a grilled chicken, saying; want me.

2 Culture

They might claim that going with revealing clothes is part of the culture and normal.

However, should sexual immorality be part of a certain culture – that certainly needs to be changed. Not be promoted!

To use a sinful culture as an excuse for wrecking people’s lives is terrible.

3 Conservatism and housewife

They might claim that going with revealing clothes is part of being a conservative housewife (!)

You have heard the saying, that nothing is further from the truth – and this certainly is far, far, far from the truth and a blatant lie.

Or again, do they mean that prostitutes are the most conservative and best housewives.

In addition, a person claiming on social media to be a conservative housewife - might in reality be the very opposite. And when they promote sexual immorality - you know for certain that this is certainly not a conservative housewife, but something completely different.

4 Temperature

They might claim that it is normal because it is warm where they live.

We have personally seen one “former” witch claiming just this - and can testify that it was just another flat lie.

5 Purity of heart

We have seen them misusing Bible verses, like saying that because everything is clean for the clean, they can live an unclean life.

Or saying that the only thing that matters is a pure heart.

It is blindingly obvious that no one can break God’s commandments about sexual purity by claiming that Bible verses mean something that they absolutely do not mean.

Yes, among every one that knows and wants to follow the Bible, there can be no dispute that there is absolutely no right for a Christian to promote sexual immorality.

Neither would a true Christian ever want to do it.

6 Freedom

Or they might be claiming that a Christian is free to do these things.

I have even had one of these fake converts, “former” witch, and promoters of sexual immorality, shouting in my face: “I bind the spirit of bondage”…

Meaning that she should have freedom to promote sexual immorality and other sins.

No, there is absolutely no freedom to murder, steal, promote sexual immorality and wreck other people’s lives or to commit any other sin.

As we see, all these excuses are just ludicrous - and serve only to try to cover what really is going on.

This person is of course not a Christian – she is an under cover witch infiltrator – that works for her witch goals – to destroy Christianity.

Now by claiming to be a Christian – whilst instead promoting her witch agenda, mixing it with some Bible verses, to try to cover what she really is doing.

So forget if they serve you really nice food and a message you like.
Everyone that wants to deceive you will do so.
No, if it is poison in the food – do not eat it.
Everyone serving you poison - you know is an infiltrator. No matter if it is a friend or relative.

There are many other heresies that they promote, but we have here focused on one of the most damaging.

Of course, seeing a so called converted witch – promoting the classic witch agenda of sexual immorality – really nails the case and everyone with eyes to see, realizes that this person is not a Christian, but is a witch infiltrator.

Other signs to look for

You would think that a new convert would be humble and listen to people with much more experience. And if it was a true convert – he/she would certainly do.

But not these people. If someone questions them – their response is often to attack.

And by doing so, they just further confirm whom they really are.

They might say that they have authority to teach as they been on the other side – so we should listen to them.

But having been on the wrong side, does certainly not give any authority to teach them that have been on the right side. On the contrary – it means that, if someone is a true convert, they need to be the more quiet and learn for a much longer time.

We have even had one of these “former” so called converted witches, and also former shaman, more or less calling us shamans, (it is not a joke), and saying that I lived in big sins – this whilst she shouted gross curse words and hit one of us.

And wanting us, that have been Christians for together around 90 years, to listen to her – instead of she listening to us.

Of course thereby proving that she is an under cover witch.

An under cover witch is often dominating and intimidating – just as in the incident mentioned above.

However on social media – this might not be as easy to spot as in real life.

A true convert wants to listen with both ears to older and more experienced Christians. He/she wants to learn and change.

But an under cover “former” witch – does not want to listen and learn at all. She is on a completely different mission.

And if people criticize her – she often attacks them.

Wanting to dominate and intimidate.

So what should you do if you see an under cover infiltrator?

What did Peter do with Simon?

So do not let these fake people come in, and do not let them deceive you.

Follow Jesus and make it your goal to learn to know Him better and better every day.

If you are not a Christian reading this – the most important is to get your life right with God, by giving all your heart to Jesus. 100%.

Yes, Repent and Turn to God and do Works befitting Repentance.

If you are a former witch that is a really true convert, and you have Repented and Turned to God and done Works befitting Repentance, so you despise what your former friends are doing - you should not feel guilty for their terrible actions, but rather call them out.

“Take heed to yourselves,

lest your hearts be weighed down with surfeiting and drunkenness, and cares of this world:

and that, that day come on you unawares.

For as a snare shall it come on all them that sit on the face of the earth.

Watch therefore continually and pray, that you may obtain grace to flee all this that shall come, and that you may stand before the Son of Man.” (Luke 21:34-36)

Here Jesus warns us that our hearts must not be weighed down.

Jesus is warning us that we should take heed, watch continually, and pray, so our hearts are not weighed down and so that day does not come on us unawares.

And we know from 1 Thessalonians 5:1-4 that if “that day” comes upon someone unawares,

it means that he is not a Christian, and will miss heaven when Jesus comes.

Instead Jesus wants us to “flee all this that shall come” and “stand before” Him in heaven, when the judgment comes on earth.

So here is a very strong warning not to miss heaven!

A strong warning that people can have their hearts weighed down

– so they become non-Christians and miss heaven.

Starting a race is not the same as finishing.

It is the same way in a Christian's life.

Jesus said:

 For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it?

Lest haply, after he hath laid the foundation, and is not able to finish it, all that behold it begin to mock him,

Saying, This man began to build, and was not able to finish. (Luk 14:28-30)

Then He continued to say:

So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple. (Luk14:33)

Jesus also said:

 Salt is good: but if the salt have lost his savor, wherewith shall it be seasoned?

 It is neither fit for the land, nor yet for the dunghill; but men cast it out. (Luk14:34-35)

It seems to me that Jesus likens a person with low commitment to salt that loses its savor.

I don't want to be cast out. I want to count the cost every day.

Jesus ended by saying:

"He that hath ears to hear, let him hear." (Luk 14:35)

LET YOUR LIGHT SHINE

“You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.”

“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”

Matthew 5:14,16

A christian is suppose to be a light in the darkness. A light so that those who walks in the darkness can find the way to salvation.

In 2026 I will let the light shine.

Time is flying and eternity is waiting. I have no time to be “wise” so that I do not offend people anymore.

Let them hate me or like me. It doesn’t matter. The world is going to hell and somebody needs to tell them that.

Jesus is the only way.

We know that “God has not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness.”

(1 Thessalonians 4:7)

We know from the context that uncleanness here is sexual uncleanness, sexual immorality.

The Bible talks a lot about sexual purity - a message that a lot of so called Christians have left behind, and which is much disliked by many non-Christians.

Now we might need to mention that the word purity has been hi-jacked by new age and pagans, but having food or air pure, will not do any spiritual or eternal good. However the Bible talks a lot about purity – and sexual purity is a very important thing in the Bible.

Today the so called “Purity culture” is much hated and smeared.

However values like to abstain from sex before marriage and for women to cover up and dress modestly to avoid men looking at them with lust, are classic Christian, Bible based values.

Whilst Bible haters describe this as something bad - of course the very opposite is true.

History has proved time and time again that following the Bible gives healthy marriages and happy persons, whilst the impure, sexual immoral life, so much pushed in music videos and soap-operas, has wrecked a countless number of marriages, and destroyed the life of so many precious people.

For anyone wanting to be a Christian, to abstain from sex before marriage and for women to cover up and dress modestly, should be basic, and this is a view held by all true Christians in all times and no Christian leader is to be found that have had another view.

Yes, this is indeed one of the most obvious things in the Bible.

Jesus Himself said:

“That whosoever looks on a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart.” (Matthew 5:28)

Everyone knowing a little about how men and women functions, knows that many men find it very hard not to look at a woman with lust if she has little clothes or tight clothes.

Yes, some goes so far as to say that it is impossible for a man not to do it. Whilst this is not true, probably the majority of men find themselves in this very position. They cannot but to look with lust.

This is as basic as 1 + 1 = 2

Needless to say, this of course puts a responsibility on a woman to cover up and dress modestly, not to get men to sin against their will.

- Yes, but shall I not have the freedom to dress as I want?, someone might say.

We do not have freedom to hurt others, but shall behave respectfully towards others, and not do anything that is causing someone to stumble.

Just as we do not have the freedom to drive on the wrong side of the road, just because we want to be free to do it.

And God has instructed the woman how to dress:
"Likewise that women adorn themselves in decent apparel, with modesty and sobriety,” (1 Timothy 2:9)

It is obvious that if a woman clothes the Christian way – it will not draw attention to her body.

And which Christian woman wants someone else than her husband to see her anyway?

Sexual immorality is a heavy duty attack on Christianity

Sexual immorality is one of the most hurtful things for people.

It has wrecked a countless number of lives, marriages and inflicted so much pain.

This is of course one reason why the Bible warns so much for it.

In Acts 15 we see that the gentile Christians got very few instructions, but to abstain from sexual immorality was one of them.

“that you abstain from things offered to idols, from blood, from things strangled, and from sexual immorality. If you keep yourselves from these, you will do well.” (Acts 15:29 NKJV)

And we know that Balaam helped putting a stumbling block for Israel, and one way in which he did it was by sending in women to get them to commit sexual immorality.

“But I have a few things against you, because you have there those who hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balak to put a stumbling block before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed to idols, and to commit sexual immorality.” (Revelation 2:14 NKJV)

In 1 Corinthians we read the we should “Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body.” (1 Corinthians 6:18 NKJV)

Not only avoid – Flee. And flee is a pretty strong word.

And in 2 Timothy 2:22 we read:

“Flee also youthful lusts:”

And when the deeds of the flesh are listed up, sexual immorality, tops the list.

“The deeds of the flesh are manifest, which are these; adultery, fornication, uncleanness, wantonness,” (Galatians 5:19)

and we see:

“of the which I tell you before, as I have told you in time past, that they which commit such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.” (Galatians 5:21)

We could go on and on with Bible verse after Bible verse about this, as this is a major thing for any Christian to avoid, as pointed out in Acts 15, and as it causes a lot of problems.

It is simply beyond dispute that a Christian should live pure and holy and avoid sexual immorality.

And as we all know - sexual immorality starts with the eyes.

If you are a man: Make a quality decision not to look at women, except your wife. And God is there to help you.

After all, what is wrong with focusing your eyes on a woman’s face or hands?

I am not saying that you should look away if someone comes against you very little clothes. Some might find it better to do it, others not. That is a call you have to make yourself.

If you are a woman: Make a quality decision to not having men falling into sin, by looking at you, and dress accordingly.

Clearly, all clothing that draws attention to the female sexual body parts – there is no good reason for any true Christian woman to wear.

That this is really important we also see in 1 Thessalonians

“For this is the will of God, your sanctification: that you should abstain from sexual immorality;

that each of you should know how to possess his own vessel in sanctification and honor,

not in passion of lust, like the Gentiles who do not know God;

that no one should take advantage of and defraud his brother in this matter, because the Lord is the avenger of all such, as we also forewarned you and testified.

For God did not call us to uncleanness, but in holiness.

Therefore he who rejects this does not reject man, but God, who has also given us His Holy Spirit.”

(1 Thessalonians 4:3-7 NKJV)

God does not take this lightly. Contrary we see that the Lord is the avenger of all such.

And that he who rejects this does not reject man, but God.

We could go on and on and on with Bible verses showing how important it is for a Christian to avoid sexual immorality.

As we now have seen, to get Christians to commit sexual immorality is a major attack

Therefore to claim that Christians are free to look at women they are not married to, or that Christian women are free to not dress modestly - is a serious heresy.

Some claim that God’s grace mean that you can ignore His commandments – which really is not smart.

Others claim that a pure heart is enough and that then you can ignore God’s commandments about sexual purity and live as you want – which again is not smart at all.

If you are not a Christian reading this – the most important is to get your life right with God, by giving all your heart to Jesus. 100%

And when you have done – actions shall follow.

If you are Christian – we have now documented that the instructions in the Bible on this topic are crystal clear, which of course also is why true Christians throughout history have had the same view on this topic.

"Blessed are you, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for My sake.

"If the world hate you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you."

If you want to be the Christ Lord's  joint heir but without to suffer with, or become like Him in the faith (Rom 8:17), then He will on that final day not acknowledge you before His brother, but ask you where you have your crown of thorns, the cross, the nails and the whip, and if you have been an abomination for the whole world, like He was and like all of His members on the earth have been, since the beginning of the world.

When you then don't have any such to present, but rather have to admit that you have been at peace and in friendship with the world, then He cannot acknowledge you before His brother.

Many people on this earth calls themselves Christians, however it is important to understand that it is God who sets the rules.

After all He wrote the Book, the salvation plan was His, so of course He then is the judge over who is a true Christian, and we better follow His definition not our own.

Matthew 25:31 tells us that Jesus will sit upon His throne in glory and all the nations will be gathered before Him.

He will separate the righteous from the unrighteous, like a shepherd that separates the sheep from the goats.

The sheep will go with Him to His Kingdom, and the goats into everlasting fire.

Note that it is Jesus who decides who is righteous, not humans.

Why is it then that so many just claim to be a "sheep" without really carefully checking if they have entered the door to the Kingdom of God?

Jesus said:

John 10:9: "I am the door: by Me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture."

A short sinners prayer in Church seems to have become a substitute, and even hindered many people to seek the true salvation that Jesus gives to those who from their heart earnestly seek Him.

We cannot save ourselves anyway, so let us have enough respect for God and play by His rulebook rather than deceive ourselves and try to make our own door into heaven.

It will never succeed.

We all have to go through the same door, which is Jesus Christ!

Yes, Give ALL the heart to Him and make Him Lord - 100% - not 99%.

You might have heard some people claiming that Jesus never said that He is God.

That is of course because they have little knowledge of the Bible.

So let’s look at what Jesus said.

It is well known that God presented Himself as I AM.

“And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers has sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is His name? what shall I say unto them?

And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and He said, Thus shalt you say unto the children of Israel, I AM has sent me unto you.

And God said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt you say unto the children of Israel, The Lord God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me unto you: this is My name for ever, and this is My memorial unto all generations.” Exodus 3:3-13-15

As we see – this is God’s name.

I AM.

So going over to the New Testament.

Here we indeed see that Jesus presents Himself as - I am.

In John 18:4-5 we see that

“Jesus therefore, knowing all things that should come upon Him, went forth, and said unto them, Whom seek you?

They answered Him, Jesus of Nazareth. Jesus saith unto them, I am.”

Here Jesus tells that He is God.

Jesus is I am.

“As soon then as He had said unto them, I am, they went backward, and fell to the ground.”

Acts 18:6

When Jesus had told that He is God – they were knocked to the ground.

Of course, they could not take Jesus – He could have kept them knocked out for ever – but He had come to die for our sins, so He goes with them.

But first He again tells that He is God. The Great I am.

“Then asked He them again, Whom seek you? And they said, Jesus of Nazareth.

Jesus answered, I have told you that I am:”

Acts 18:7-8

This is beyond dispute.

No one can deny that Jesus tells that He is God – the Great I am.

If you are like me you love looking at the Greek, as the Bible was not written in English, and here we read:

Greek letters: λέγω αὐτός ὁ Ἰησοῦς, ἐγώ εἰμί.

Greek, English letters: legō autos ho Iēsous, egō eimi

English translation (KJV): said unto them Jesus, I am.

That’s it.

Then the greek continues with (translated to English): “And Judas also, which betrayed him, stood with them.”

So this cannot be understood in any other way.

It is crystal clear.

Jesus says that He is the Great I am. God Himself.

(Which we of course know from countless other places in the Bible.)

And this is not the only place where Jesus said it.

In John 8:24 we see that Jesus presented Himself as the Great I am – God Himself.
“I said therefore unto you, that you shall die in your sins: for if you believe not that I am, you shall die in your sins.”

Here we see that if not believing that Jesus is I am – God, then people will die in their sins.

And again in verse 28:

“Then said Jesus unto them, When you have lifted up the Son of man, then shall you know that I am, and that I do nothing of myself; but as My Father has taught me, I speak these things.”

As we see – Jesus again tells that He is God. The Great I am.

So now we have looked at four different Bible verses where Jesus Himself tells that He is God.

Thus it is documented beyond dispute that Jesus indeed said that He is God.

And He is !

He is the Great I am.

The Creator of heaven and earth.

The One that died for our sins – and rose again.

The only Way to heaven.

You see, there was only one way to save the human race.

An innocent man had to die for others.

But none of use were innocent. We all have sinned.

So the only solution was for the Great I am, God Himself, our Creator, to in the greatest act of love ever seen, come to earth as a man, and being both God and man, die for our sins.

But as He Himself had done no sin – He rose again, and lives and wants to be your Friend.

How does this become a reality for you?

Make Jesus your Lord. Give Him ALL your heart.

Amen.

THERE IS A HELL!

And it is real!

And I really, really don't want to end up there.

A place of eternal torment.

No joy, no peace, and if you think life on earth is a hell, it is still nothing compared to the real hell - yes, a second in hell is worse than the worst torture you can imagine here on earth.

Jesus described hell like this;

Mar 9:48: "Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched."

Mat 13:50: "And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth."

Jesus also told a true story about a rich man that died.

The rich man went to hell and there he longed for just a drop of water to cool his tongue, because the flames tormented him. But he got none.

And still to this day - the rich man has no relief.

His riches on earth could not buy him a single second of relief from the flames that in this very moment is tormenting him.

He has been there for thousands of years, but the time he has been there is only like a single dot, compared to the rest of eternity.

Jesus told us to not fear men who only can kill the body, but then can't do no more.

We should fear God who is the one who has the power to send people to hell.

And no one has enough strength to resist God, but every soul is wholly and completely in His hands.

The Bible tells us that the ones who don't have their names written in the book of life will be cast in to the lake of fire.🔥

Life is like walking on a rotten covering, and if it were not for God holding you up, you would have fallen through already.

The only thing that separates you from eternity is His great mercy that keeps you alive.

Should He withdraw His hand from you, you would die in an instant. But because He is so merciful you are still alive.

But you never know when it is your turn, it could very well be today.

Many people die suddenly and unexpectedly, to never return to this earth.

Then it is over forever.

It can be just a single moment that separates you from eternity.

And when you die, your eternity is fully and wholly in God's hands.

Then you want your name written in the Book of Life, so you don't go to hell like the rich man did.

THERE IS A HEAVEN.

A wonderful place that I really want to go to.

Heaven is where God is.

And Jesus is at His right hand:

Acts 7:56: "And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God."

Heaven is a place without death or sickness.

A place with eternal joy and happiness.

With a beauty that compass anything we have seen here on earth.

The Bible talks about a city of pure gold and precious stones, with streets of gold, and 12 gates, and each gate is one single pearl.

A place with no darkness, because God's glory lightens it.

And no evil, or lying person shall come in, only those who have their name written in the book of life.

There is a river of life, clear as crystal and the tree of life, where it's leaves gives healing.

But best of all we will see God face to face.

And God in His great mercy will wipe away all my tears forever.

Rev 21:4: "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away."

Praise be to God for His wonderful mercies. What a glorious, wonderful God!

His mercy endures forever and I am so thankful that He cares for me.

The third thing that Jesus warns us for is

- the lusts of other things.

What are the lusts of other things?

This is quite self-explanatory. It could be a thousand things that people want to do or want to have or want to be.

People think:

I want a new mobile phone.

I want a new dress.

I want a new car.

I want a new bike.

I want to go on holiday.

I want to go for a walk.

I want to be famous.

I want to be popular.

I want to, I want to, I want to.

The list could be almost endless of things to want to be, or want to do, or want to have – other than seeking Jesus.

Not that God does not want to bless you. He wants! But that should not be something we strive or lust after.

For if we do, this will take both time and attention away from Jesus.

Yes, if praying, to have things for our lusts, we will not receive it, as we read;

“You ask and have not, because you ask amiss, that you may consume it upon your lusts.” (James 4:3)

But as we just read:

“seek you after the kingdom of God, and all these things shall be ministered unto you.” (Luke 12:31)

John 21:18

"Verily, verily, I say unto thee, When thou wast young, thou girdedst thyself, and walkedst whither thou wouldest: but when thou shalt be old, thou shalt stretch forth thy hands, and another shall gird thee, and carry thee whither thou wouldest not."

John 21:19:

"This spake he, signifying by what death he should glorify God. And when he had spoken this, he saith unto him, Follow me."

"Follow me"

This said Jesus to his disciple Peter after he had told him that one day Peter would be killed for following Jesus.

"Follow me"

And Peter did exactly that. He followed Jesus no matter the sacrifice.

In the face of persecution, he followed Jesus.

Peter knew that Jesus was the way the truth and the life,

so he fought the good fight, and he loved Jesus more than his own life.

Peter was later crucified for following Jesus.

But he won eternal life!

Jesus says:

Follow me, I am the way the truth and the life!

The second thing that Jesus warns us for is

- the deceitfulness of riches.

What is the deceitfulness of riches?

For many it is to want to be rich – or want to have more money than really is needed.

And for rich people, it could be to trust in their riches.

Wanting to get rich is such a stupid thing.

It takes so much time and attention.

Time and attention, “stolen” from being with Jesus!

Jesus tells us about this here, when Jesus;

“said unto them:

take heed, and beware of covetousness.

For no man's life stands in the abundance of the things which he possesses.” (Luke 12:15)

“And He put forth a parable unto them saying:

The ground of a certain rich man brought forth fruits plenteously, and he thought in himself saying: what shall I do, because I have no room where to bestow my fruits?

And he said: This will I do. I will destroy my barns, and build greater, and therein will I gather all my fruits, and my goods:

and I will say to my soul: Soul, you have much goods laid up in store for many years, take your ease: eat, drink and be merry.

But God said unto him:

You fool, this night your soul shall be required of you.

Then whose shall those things be which you have provided?

So is it with him that gathers riches, and is not rich in God.” (Luke 12:16-21)

This really describes it!

And Jesus continued:

“Therefore I say unto you: take no thought for your life, what you shall eat, neither for your body, what you shall put on.” (Luke 12:22)

And:

“Consider the ravens, for they neither sow, nor reap, which neither have storehouse nor barn, and yet God feeds them.” (Luke 12:24)

And:

“Consider the lilies how they grow: They labour not: they spin not: and yet I say unto you, that Solomon in all his royalty was not clothed like to one of these.

If God then so clothes the grass which is today in the field, and tomorrow shall be cast into the furnace:

how much more will He clothe you, o you of little faith?

And ask not what you shall eat, or what you shall drink, neither climb you up on high, for all such things the heathen people of the world seek for.

Your Father knows that you have need of such things.

Wherefore seek you after the kingdom of God, and all these things shall be ministered unto you.”

(Luke 12:27-31)

Then Jesus points out that “where your treasure is, there will your hearts be also.” (Luke 12:34)

And instead of being busy with money making, our loins should “be girded about” and our “lights burning” (Luke 12:35)

To want to be rich is very wrong focus, and it “steals” both time and attention away from Jesus.

Yes, “they that will be rich, fall into temptation, and snares, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in perdition, and destruction.” (1 Timothy 6:9)

Yes, to want to be rich is a terrible danger, and numerous of people have fallen away from Jesus, that way.

Paul was very aware of the danger of wanting to be rich.

Paul worked. A lot.

But not to make money.

When it came to making money, he only worked to have the necessities of life.

The rest of his time was spent being with God.

Spending quality time with God.

And to reach out to, and help others to learn to know our wonderful Master and Lord, Jesus Christ.

He tells about this in Acts 20, where he said:

“I have desired no man’s silver, gold, or apparel.

You know well that these hands have ministered unto my necessities,

and to them that were with me.” (Acts 20:34)

Yes, we even read in 2 Corinthians 11:9 that he under a period had need, and was lacking, as he spent so much time helping others.

This is the attitude that we need to have.

Never seeking money.

Not wanting to be rich.

Wanting to have Jesus!

"Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it issues life."(Proverbs 4:23)

The heart of man will decide his or her life.

The heart - it is the innermost value and what a person really, really wants.

Either the heart wants to go God's way.

Or it wants to be his/her own boss and go his/her own way.

If you at heart, really want to do God's will, then make sure to keep your heart that way.

The Bible warns that hearts can be harden:

“today if you will hear His voice,harden not your hearts.”

(Hebrews 4:7)

And tells us to keep our hearts:

"Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it issues life.”

(Proverbs 4:23)

This is what we want to do every day.

Making sure to keep our hearts.

Yes having:

A heart that really Loves You Jesus.

A heart that really longs for You God.

A heart that only wants to please You God.

People “having come by” the first danger, now face another, long term danger.

Danger two – the word being choked.

You have 100% commitment. That is wonderful.

But that does not mean that you are out of danger.

No, there is this other, second danger, that we really must guard against.

Actually, Jesus warns more about this danger, than for danger number one.

So we should not think that once we have given 100% - now it is sorted for life.

As you remember, the very first group, never became Christians.

The second group were these who jumped out when they felt that the gate was too narrow, and the cost too high.

The third group – they where the word became choked, they became Christians.

And they did not jump out for trouble and persecution.

But instead, the word in them was choked.

How terrible.

Maybe this is why Jesus warns so much in the Bible about this danger.

Jesus points out three different dangers to avoid, when He says;

“And they that are sown among the thorns, are such as hear the word:

and the cares of this world

and the deceitfulness of riches

and the lusts of other things,

enter in and choke the word, and it is made unfruitful.”

The cares of this world

The first thing that Jesus warns us for is

- the cares of this world.

What are the cares of this world?

Often the cares of this world are the daily things to do, like:

work,

family,

taking care of the home and so on.

There are so many things that can be a distraction.

A very good example of what the cares of this world are, was when Jesus and the disciples visited Martha and Mary.

Mary “sat at Jesus' feet, and heard His preaching.

And Martha was distracted with much serving,

and stood and said: Master, do You not care, that my sister has left me to serve alone? Bid her therefore, that she helps me. And Jesus answered, and said unto her:

Martha, Martha, you care, and are troubled about many things:

verily one is needful.

Mary has chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her.” (Luke 10:39-42)

Here we see that Martha was busy with the cares of this world.

Yes the very word “care” that Jesus uses when saying “you care”,

is the greek sister word, to the word “cares”, that Jesus uses when He says “cares of this world.”

So what did Martha do?

Jesus and the disciples had come to visit.

Martha was busy serving. Probably with preparing food and serving food, and things like that.

It could have seemed like an important thing,

but as it distracted her from what really mattered

- the one thing that was needful -

it was a bad distraction, and not important at all.

So for Martha, household work was the cares of this world.

For others it is the ordinary work.

For others taking care of the house, the car, the family and so on.

Or all of this!

And we see that it was a distraction.

“Martha was distracted with much serving,”

A distraction stopping Martha from doing the one thing that really mattered!

The daily things to do – they have a value (roughly) like cleaning.

You clean, and clean, and clean again.

The daily things are like cleaning.

OK, some of it are things that have to be done – on time over – but it must absolutely not take my time and attention away from being with Jesus.

As we see here – It is one thing that is needful.

Being with Jesus!

Yes, we must not let the word in us be choked by the distractions of the cares of this world.

We have already seen that trouble and persecution will come.

This does not mean that God sends trouble and persecution upon His children. Nowhere in the Bible do we see that God sends trouble and persecution upon us.

Contrary, God will judge the people hard, that persecute you, as we read here:

“It is verily a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you”

(2 Thessalonians 1:6)

But the trouble and persecution that we have to suffer as God’s children in this evil world, will also test our commitment to Jesus.

Yes, we see that in trials, our faith is “tried”:

“now for a season (if need require) you are in heaviness, through manifold trials,

that your faith once tried,

being much more precious then gold that perishes (though it be tried with fire) might be found unto praise, glory, and honour at the appearing of Jesus Christ” (1 Peter 1:6-7)

And we read more details about it here:

“Dearly beloved, be not troubled in this heat, which now is come among you to try you,

as though some strange thing had happened unto you:

but rejoice in as much as you are partakers of Christ’s sufferings,

that when His glory appears, you may be merry and glad.

If you be railed upon for the name of Christ, happy are you.

For the Spirit of glory and the Spirit of God rests upon you.

On their part He is evil spoken of: but on your part He is glorified.

See that none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men’s matters.

If any man suffers as a Christian man, let him not be ashamed: but let him glorify God on this behalf.” (1 Peter 4:12-16)

So the trouble and persecution we will meet,

will show whom has Given All the Heart and has a 100% commitment to Jesus, and whom has not.

So jumping out at trouble and persecution is the first danger.

__________

How, do you survive this danger?

By having enough rooting and commitment.

By making sure to have a 100% commitment!

Yes, to have Given All the Heart.

So why not stop right now and make sure that you have given 100%.

One good way of doing it is to pray and think for yourself and visualize really hard situations and choices you can meet.

Like, thinking that you are taken captive and given the choice of denying Jesus or being tortured to death.

What do I do?

(Tip. A second in hell is worse than the worst torture on earth. And hell is eternal. So eternal torture.)

Harder and harder tests

Another way of describing it is this:

For all of us, there will come challenges where we have to choose either to obey Jesus or disobey.

These challenges will get harder and harder, until 100% has to be given, or the person jumps out.

So let’s look at practical example of this:

Let say someone really wants to get married and meets a non-Christian boy.

This should not really be a hard choice, but for a person with only 60% commitment, maybe that will make her to jump out.

So now she has to either increase her commitment to, let say 70%, or jump out.

(And unfortunately I have seen people jumping out at this choice.)

So to stay a Christian, now she has to increase the commitment.

Hopefully she doesn't do like the person I knew, but she increases it.

Then God will continue to show her His love, making it easy for her to give 100%.

(Which ideally should have been given to start with, but God is so good, helping people that actually have not done it.)

Life goes on. Having passed this test, God gives her a good Christian husband.

After some years, God tells her husband that they have to do something so they will lose their friends.

To lose her friends is a harder challenge. Now 70% commitment won't do.

Again she has the choice to either increase the commitment, or jump out.

And so it continues until reaching 100%.

In all this God is fair and I think it is clear that for children dying young, people with some mental problems and people that have low IQ, God sees the heart and can make specials.

Now the right and also smartest way of doing it, is of course to give 100% to start with, and if you did not do it to start with, to do it now.

And Jesus warned us that some people have not the commitment, so they decide to jump off.

This is the first danger to watch against.

The Narrow gate

I think a good way to describe it is this:

People should make a 100% commitment when becoming a Christian.

But we are not always good at knowing ourselves, so we might think that we have given 100% even though that might not be the case.

But God is good, so He lets people become Christians even though they might not actually have given 100%.

However, this does not mean that they will stay Christians, if they don’t give 100%.

So let’s look at a practical example:

Here we have a person that has becomes a Christian, but has actually only given 60%.

What happens next?

God shows him or her His love. So it should be easy to give 100%.

Then as time goes, one could say that the road and the gate gets narrower and narrower until the gate is so narrow that the only option is to give 100%, or jump out.

So either he or she now gives 100% - or is out.

Jesus was asked a question, when one said “unto Him; Lord, are there few that shall be saved?

And He said unto them; Strive with yourselves to enter in through the narrow gate. For many I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.” (Luke 13:23-24)

Now these people knew what a narrow gate was.

Maybe the wall was old and partly had collapsed, so there now only was a narrow gate left.

Maybe they could not build it wider.

There is a saying that there was a gate in Jerusalem that was so narrow that a camel could only get through it if all load was unloaded, and the camel went through it on its knees.

So when Jesus says;

“Strive with yourselves to enter in through the narrow gate. For many I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able”

this does not at all imply that some cannot get through it.

As I said, these persons knew what a narrow gate was.

All humans are about the same size, so if one person could get through it, everyone could. (Maybe if someone was very fat, maybe he needed to lose some weight first, but then he could get through it.)

So it cannot mean that one person can get through it and another cannot.

But not everyone wants to “Give All the Heart” and follow Jesus, no matter the cost.

And the person that is not willing to “Give All the Heart” and follow Jesus, no matter the cost, will jump out when the gate becomes too narrow.

Danger one – jumping off when trouble and persecution arises

Now when you have become a Christian, life is wonderful.

But you will soon find out that being a Christian, is not a dance on roses.

After all they persecuted and killed Jesus, and all the disciples were persecuted,

and one thing that you can be 100% sure about, is that trouble and persecution will come, as Jesus told us:

“If they have persecuted Me, so will they persecute you.” (John 15:20)

And:

“But all these things will they do unto you for My name’s sake, because they have not known Him that sent Me.” (John 15:21)

Yes, we read about this so many places in the Bible, so let’s look at another example:

“For verily when I was with you, I told you before that we should suffer tribulation, even as it came to pass” (1 Thessalonians 3:4)

But in all the trouble and persecution that we meet – Jesus is so close.

Yes one of the very last things that He said to His disciples before the cross was:

“These words have I spoken unto you, that in Me you might have peace.

For in the world shall you have tribulation: but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33)

So trouble and persecution will come.
