On this late August day—blessed by the first autumn rain after a long, dry summer—here in the sacred heart of Glastonbury, we begin our day meditating before the Flame of Avalon, a living symbol of devotion, peace, and transformation.

We dedicate this article to her; far more than a simple purple candle, the Flame of Avalon represents an unbroken, interwoven lineage of sacred fires. Do you know its story? It is the tale of flames carried across continents, gathered from ancient sacred sites, forged in moments of profound historical significance, and kept burning day and night around the world.

The Lineage: Where the Flame Was Born

The Flame of Avalon is not a single spark, but a confluence of sacred energies brought together over decades of pilgrimage, devotion, and community life:

The Sun of Avalon (2004): Lit directly by the sun atop the Tor during the 2004 Goddess Conference (yes—using a lens and the sun’s rays!), it burned on the central altar throughout the event.

Brigit’s Flame: Brought directly from Brigit’s sacred hearth in Kildare, Ireland.

Hiroshima Peace Flame: Originally lit by a female survivor from the glowing embers that remained after the nuclear disaster in Japan; it carries prayers for peace and reconciliation. In Japanese tradition, the flame must never be extinguished, so, to transport it by air to Glastonbury, a special ember container was built, and special transport permission was obtained.

Bridie’s Flame: Brought from the mystical Isle of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides.

Children’s Flame: Brought from the United States in honour of future generations.

Madonna Ministry Flame: Donated from the United States.

Malta Goddess Temple Flame: Originating from the ancient megalithic temples of Malta.

Flame of Iberia: A union of the flames from Spain and Portugal.

Flame of the 1st Mexico Goddess Conference: Brought from Mexico.

Flame of Delphi: Brought from the ancient site of the First Oracle in Greece.

Flame of Göbekli Tepe (2012): Lit at the ancient temple sanctuary in Turkey (dating back 12,000 years).

The Flame of Avalon is tended across the globe in a sacred rotation

No candle may remain lit in the Temple after closing time, in compliance with safety regulations, so the Flame burns on elsewhere in the world!

The Flame of Avalon is present in any candle lit from an existing Avalon Flame. When you request that yours be lit for the first time, a Temple priestess will attend to it; through her prayer, she will transform a simple candle into a sacred symbol of devotion.

It is kept perpetually burning thanks to an unbroken chain of devotion: Priestesses of Avalon, scattered across the world, tend the flame in a continuous monthly rotation. Each guardian watches over the flame from sunset to sunset, ensuring that—wherever the sun sets—the sacred light continues to burn without interruption.

The Glastonbury Goddess Temple

. Each season we will focus this coming year on creating a seasonal sacred incense to use on our altars, in our homes and outside. Each incense recipe is chosen specifically to connect you to the Goddess of the season, to allow your connection to deepen, evolve and flourish.

The intentional art of making incense encourages this deep connection through our sense of smell in blending the aromatics. We will craft an individualised incense to focus our intentions and align our energy whilst deepening our spiritual connection to Goddess.

As we blend the incense remember that this is a sacred practice where we can use our incense to clear our spaces and ourselves. Incense may also deepen our meditation practice, grounds us and helps in setting intentions whilst facilitating prayer or meditation. Many find incense promotes relaxation, inspires creativity, reflection and reduces stress.

Remember to connect outside this season with Her nature, observing what is happening in the land you call home.

GLITON BLEND

As a practical activity this month, we offer an incense blend to honour Gliton, Morgen of Water and Litha.

Materials:

a tablespoon of dried mint
a tablespoon of dried lavender
a tablespoon of dried pine needles (optional)

a mortar and pestle

a clean empty jar

label and pen

your journal

charcoal, lighter, tongs, and incense holder

Some ingredients notes:
The star of this blend is mint (mentha piperita or mentha aquatica), named after the nymph Minthia. The Greeks considered this plant sacred to Aphrodite, while the Romans considered it relaxing and sedative. This month, we’re pairing it with lavender and, if you have them, pine needles to create a relaxing blend that repels insects, perfect for summer evenings in the garden.

Method

Prepare all the ingredients in front of you, and light the charcoal so it heats up and turns grey so as not to burn your blend.

Turn on your favourite music and breathe deeply

Grounding and centering yourself, Focus on your Solar plexus, and invoke Morgen Gliton, to be with you in the creation of this incense.

Pour all the ingredients into your mortar and begin pounding them until the desired consistency, while focusing your thoughts on the Morgen.

Notice every thought that passes through your mind, even the negative ones, and record them in your journal.

Once you have reached the desired consistency, pour it into the jar and label it, not forgetting the name and herbs, the date, and the Moon phase.

Pour a teaspoon onto the charcoal and observe the smoke that is produced. What images does it evoke? Smell the scent with your eyes closed. What does it remind you of?

Write everything down in your journal. Allow the incense to inspire you and write down what has inspired you.

Please do remember to burn incense safely and do not leave it unattended when burring. Be aware of keeping children and pets safe. Be mindful that incense smoke can be problematic for some individuals (those with respiratory conditions or asthma for example).

Beloved, from the veiled heart of Avalon, I send to you my violet light- not sharp, not blinding, but deep as twilight and gentle as dusk settling on water.

May my violet luminescence find you where you are, even if you are tired of being found, even if you feel scattered, drained, or hollowed by time.

May it move first to what hurts most quietly- the ache you minimize, the wound you learned to live around, the sorrow that learned to speak only in whispers.

Let the violet light wrap, not penetrate for healing is not an invasion. It is an invitation.

Where shame has taken root, may it be lifted into compassion.

I bless your breath with spaciousness.

I bless your body with the memory of safety- even if that memory must be borrowed at first.

May the violet luminescence move through you like water through amethyst stone- slowly, patiently, changing nothing by force yet leaving nothing untouched.

If you have carried pain that is not yours, may it be gently released. If you have blamed yourself for what you could not heal, may forgiveness bloom where blame once lived.

Your willingness to receive- even faintly, is enough.

Let my violet light settle in your spine, in your heart, in the spaces between your thoughts.

May it remind every part of you; you are allowed to heal without proving anything.

The landscape of Glastonbury, seat of myth and legend (and reputedly the heart chakra of planet Earth) is a truly inspiring (all-weather!) partner in the journey. The town itself with its historical sites, libraries, sacred wells and bookshops is a perfect setting for students of esoterica, folk-lore, astrology and history.

Even those of us whose livelihoods are based in contemporary culture, art and music recognise that those industries have become hollow replacements for the deeper calling of ritual, ceremony and communion with nature. The work offered here is an invitation to embrace and commit to personal transformation. And a way for us to anchor our spiritual gifts in the earth, which is vital, as timelines and paradigms collapse. It’s not for the faint hearted - this training is powerful and may tend to select you, rather than the other way round! After a series of intense shocks, losses and synchronicities in my own life, I was called in such a way. I like this course especially as queer-friendly, gender-fluid approaches to shamanism are welcomed and the course teachers are already somewhat of a bridge between LGBTQ+, Queer Spirit and Glastonbury Goddess Temple communities - where the return and rise of the Divine Feminine principal is paramount.

The call of the wild is the call home. If you feel that calling and if the land around Glastonbury holds meaning for you, then I recommend this programme. In my professional life, I am fortunate to be welcomed in many cultural traditions that are not really my own, from jazz to tai chi, to Toltec lucid dreaming, but it’s now a deep joy, at mid-life - to revisit and strengthen my Somerset (and Welsh and Irish) roots and the specific myths and legends of the Celtic dreamtime. And even the ancient traditions and practices of the pre-Celts going back to Neolithic times. In order to go places, it’s important to know where you’re from, and communicating with the land of my ancestors is part of this.

In the crucible of the Shamanka training, you’ll work with the deep mysteries of Avalon, experience guided visionary states on and in local sacred sites, learn to invoke local deities and archetypes from the proto-Celtic traditions and shape your own pagan practice as you go along, finding your own guides and building relationships with them. You’ll also visit and encounter horses in equine therapy settings and craft beautiful personal power objects (with generous access to materials). Emotions are welcomed and safely held, as are existing faiths, energetical practices and qualifications. No-one is expected to discard their previous learning at the door or adhere to a fixed belief system, although the main anchor is a seasonal medicine wheel based on the Goddesses central to Avalonian tradition. Learning is multi-media and flexible, with international students able to check in on zoom calls. Energetical boundaries are safely upheld and a clear application process ensures that your class mates, like your teachers, are rock solid and safe.

You’ll also have a lot of fun along the way, support outside of class-time and the constant companion of the local landscape to uplift and inspire your creative visions. Don’t be surprised if your world transforms in astonishing ways ...

I’m so proud of this work and of Glastonbury and excited to be part of this next shift in consciousness.

In the coming times, as our modern society, so disconnected from soul and source, demonstrably fails us - people will be crying out for ways to reconnect, release and heal. I predict that shamanism, both ancient and modern - will be the new rock n’ roll! I predict that healers and workers in the hyper-dimensional realms, will be more sought after than any of our current celebrities - and we can see signs of this already.

At this stage, the answers we seek to modern day problems can only be found within. The true abundance will not be fame and fortune, but the alchemical gold of self-realisation hinted at in every gnostic path known to humanity. Haven’t we always known this? Here be dragons - as all the best fairy tales teach us ...

Throughout the weekend, the guiding voice of the Lady of Avalon seems to echo within the heart, inviting all who enter to step beyond the ordinary and into a sacred journey of remembrance and healing.

‘Beloved child’, She whispers, ‘You have come not to seek, but to remember. Walk gently, for every step within the ninefold path is a step inward, towards the truth of your own soul.’

Entering the Sacred Path

The Labyrinth lays before you, a spiralling path etched into the earth like an ancient symbol of transformation. Unlike a maze, it offers no wrong turns – only a single, intentional journey towards the centre. As participants begin to walk in, the air will feel charged with a subtle energy, a violet luminescence that seems to shimmer just beyond the physical senses. ‘This is my light of Violet transmutation’, the Lady’s presence conveys. ‘Release here all that burdens your spirit. With every breath, surrender the past, with every step, allow my light to restore you.’

Each footfall becomes an act of devotion. Silence will deepen, broken only by the rhythm of breath and the gentle rustle of the wind. Many will experience a sense of emotional release, as though the Labyrinth itself was drawing out old stories ready to be transformed.

The Lady whispers, ‘You stand within the Chalice of Avalon. Here, the wounds of the past are bathed in compassion. Allow my Violet Light to cleanse your fears and awaken the wisdom that has always resided within you.’ Her Violet Luminescence symbolises transformation – an alchemical process turning pain into wisdom and separation into unity.

The Return: Carrying the Light

On Sunday 7th June we journey outward through the Labyrinth, actively, out upon Her land, thus mirroring the integration of the healing already received. You will emerge not as you entered, but with a renewed sense of clarity and purpose. ‘You do not leave Avalon’, the Lady’s voice reassures, ‘for Avalon lives within you. Carry my Violet Luminescence into your world. Let it guide your words, your actions, and your compassion for all beings.’

A Living Memory

The weekend immersed in the Violet healing luminescence of the Lady of Avalon is more than an event – it is an initiation into deeper awareness. The Labyrinth serves as a sacred metaphor for the soul’s journey, inward for healing and outward for integration. ‘Whenever you feel lost, close your eyes and remember the path you walked. The Labyrinth exists within your heart, and my Violet Light is ever with you to guide you home.’

The Glastonbury Goddess Temple

It’s one of the Major Arcana, or named cards, in the Tarot. I often describe these cards as the Gateway or the Crossroads cards. And on the Lovers card in the Motherpeace, we can actually see the Gateway. The Gateway is is in the centre of the card, calling to us, and it is covered with roses. So this is a gateway or a transformation card, very much in the Beauty Way sense of the word and the Gateway here on the card is one that allows us to transform ourselves. So it’s not necessarily, or at least not only, talking about partner or a love relationship. It’s talking about our partnership and our love relationship within ourselves, and how we manifest those beliefs in the world, in how we see our relationship with other beings in the world. And the Gateway here on the card appears at the corner of really formidable defensive wall structure. It looks like a magical door from a place of high walls and straight lines, into a garden of possibility and blossoming.

For me it shows the transformation from a from a rigid, defensive, strict idea of what I “should be” in the world or who I “should be”, that I have received from culture or family, or that this is how I “must be” in order to to be enough or to be “good” enough in order to deserve love. From rigid definitions of what is masculine and what is feminine and who is allowed to be, or do, certain things. And the transformation on this card is so powerful. It’s represented by pictures of two ancient Greek vases. It’s the transformation from old patriarchal idea of what the relationship between the masculine and the feminine should be, or indeed, patriarchal myths that this is how masculine and feminine must interact, because it is “normal” or “human nature”.

On the first vase, to the left we see the soldier, the warrior, oppressing the woman. This is the myth of fear, control and conquest. Of fighting over resources. Of there being only one pie, which must be divided. And through the gateway, through the transformational arch, the relationship has changed, and we see the two people no longer involved in a struggle, no longer in conflict, but dancing together fully in connection. They are meeting each other’s gaze as equals, and they are moving in a dance together, they can connect intimately, and they can feel into the creative flow between them. This is the Goddess understanding of love, the Motherworld sense of abundance, blossoming andsharing. And I find this card very often comes up for people who are at a crossroads or at a growing edge, learning to be more authentic in their lives and in their understanding of themselves. And those who are ready to start dismantling the walls they may have built earlier in their lives to protect themselves from pain. So it shows a place of growth within the person which can, and will, completely transform their love relationships and their relationship with others in the world, into one that is deeply authentic and deeply magical. It’s a powerful card, and one which illustrates the potential of the Beltane energies.

Nolava of Fire is the physical Fire which is absorbed as heat from our Sun Mother and held in the land, in the earth and stones. This Fire ignites and fuels the nascent life in living plants, trees, animals, insects, birds and human beings, giving all the capacity to grow and thrive. In the physical realm in human and animal bodies, the stored Fire in food is released through digestion and respiration to provide energy for all activity in the world. Light is the radiance of Fire and some creatures, like fireflies and those who dwell in the depths of the oceans are able to produce light from their bodies.

Nolava of Fire governs many kinds of Fire. She is the Fire of the emotions and heart, the Fire of Kundalini, the Fires of the mind, the mystical Fires and the Fires of Transformation. Fire is the alchemical agent that has the capacity to transform substance, especially that which is dry, old and dead. Think of the dead branch which catches fire and burns to ash. Think of the closed heart that is transformed by the fires of love. Think of the dull mind that is transformed by the fire of creativity. Nolava of Fire is in all these.

In the progression through the elements around the Avalonian Wheel of the Year, fire is the third element, being more dense than air and less dense than water or earth. Fire is often mistakenly equated with Spirit. I know many suggest a number divisible by four, but we believe 19 is sacred to Brigid, so we used 19 rushes.

First, cut the ends so they are the same length, about 30 cm. Prepare four pieces of twine, about 10 cm long.

Take a single rush. Take a second rush, pinch the middle, and fold in half. Now wrap it around the first rush.

Bend another rush and position it as follows (making sure to always hold the center tightly to prevent it from unraveling). Again, bend another reed and position it in this direction

Turn the wheel clockwise and continue until you reach the nineteenth reed.

Before placing the last piece, loosen a piece as shown in the photo below and thread the last piece through it, positioning it the same way you did in the previous steps. Then pull the piece tight. This will hold everything together so you can tie the ends and keep the woven pattern tighter.

Now wrap each strand at one end, focusing on your intention, and close with three knots. Four ends, four intentions.

Dear Soul,
we are honoured to present the first in a series of articles written by Priestess of Avalon Kathy Jones about our Temple.

Kathy is the founder of the Glastonbury Goddess Temple, the Goddess House, the Goddess Conference (and many other). She is a ceremonialist, teacher, healer, initiator, sacred playwright, and the author of several groundbreaking books on the British Goddess, the sacred landscape of Avalon, and healing. She has an international reputation as an authority on Goddess matters. If you would like to be among her students, “Spiritual Writing course,” begins February 16th at 6 pm. Over the last few years we have commissioned several large paintings for the Glastonbury Goddess Temple from the artist Jonathan Minshull under instruction from Priestess of Avalon Kathy Jones and other Priestesses. Each artist who paints the Lady of Avalon, Glastonbury and Avalon does so in their own style which is unique and emphasises different aspects of the Lady’s expression in the world. Gradually through time Her image is becoming more focussed.

The first one that Jonathan painted for us is now found within the circle of the Nine Morgen wicker statues in the Temple. It shows the Lady of Avalon as a mystical woman, a giantess even, standing within the landscape of Glastonbury Avalon with Her creatures and some of Her many attributes. The land is shown as an island, the Isle of Avalon surrounded by the waters of the Lake of Avalon. The physical landscapes that we see today were first formed at the end of the last Ice Age when the Isle of Avalon became a physical island in the inland Sabrinean Sea. Over time the land gradually rose and the waters were tamed into drains and rhynes, but they still lie hidden just a few feet beneath the earth.

In this first painting the Lady stands tall from one edge of the island to the other, from the northeast to the southwest. Her long flowing pale hair extends to become the Myst of Avalon which in spring and autumn can be seen rising from the land and the Lake. The Mysts of Avalon are famous as a physical and mystical experience as they can obscure our way ahead and also part to reveal the inner Mysteries of Avalon.

On the Lady’s head there are reindeer horns which connect Her and us back to Her origins at the ending of the last Ice Age when reindeer roamed these lands across snow and ice. At that time female reindeer were the ones which carried their horns through the winter. Between the Lady’s horns we can see the sun lighting the land. In this painting Her head is encircled by a rainbow, the symbol of continuous connection between humans and Goddess.

The Lady of Avalon is an ancient primal Goddess whose origins lie in the far past. She is the main Goddess that we celebrate and honour in Glastonbury’s Goddess Temple. She extends Her right hand towards us, welcoming us into Her Mysteries. Her left hand is raised in a sign of blessing. Her body is transparent, expressing Her energetic nature. Underlying Her body is the sacred geometry of interwoven circles and the vesica piscis. Around Her on Her land are Her primary Avalonian creatures – deer, black cat, swan, white mare, fox, sheep, hare, badger, bees, heron, buzzard, woodpecker, cow, crows and raven. All these creatures can be found in the Glastonbury landscape.

Looking more closely at the painting we can see Her intimate connection to the land of Glastonbury Avalon. She is the land and She is within all things. Her Sacred Isle is covered in trees and plants and is the place where Her magical apples grow in abundance. Avalon means the Place of Apples. Her skin is pale violet and from Her body She emits a translucent Violet Light, which is Her healing light in the world. Hers is the Violet Flame which brings hope and illumination to the world. This light has the capacity to cleanse our bodies, to clear our wounds, to open our hearts and to bring us healing and transformation. She is the sublime embodiment of the divine.

The second main painting of the Lady of Avalon in the Goddess Temple can be seen above the main altar. In this painting the Lady is shown as the Land itself. Her body with its violet skin is the land stretching from the farthest northeasterly ends of Stonedown to the far end of Wearyall Hill in the southwest. Violet Light radiates out from the surface of Her body through Her nature, the plants and trees, out into the world. In the foreground is one of Her many apple trees.

This image has similar elements to the first and enscribes the reality that the Lady is the land. Her body is the Sacred Isle. As Goddess She is the earth, water, fire, air and space. She is the essence and manifestation of all things. She too has deer horns, the sun between Her horns, and the rainbow light.

Again we can see Her creatures who dwell on Her body – the raven, deer, Her Nine Daughter Crow Morgens, owl, white mare, wolf, swan, heron, woodpecker, small birds and a stone eagle. Like the other painting there are standing stones with carvings that were made by ancient peoples long, long ago. Her land body is luscious, fecund and fertile. Everything grows here in abundance. Once again Her body is surrounded by the waters of the Lake of Avalon and spring waters flow from dark caverns within Her body.

There are two more paintings by Jonathan on the left and right sides of the Temple. Both are painted as if they are threefold windows looking out over the land as it might have been long ago when there were no modern day houses, buildings, roads and churches. Then the land was natural, covered in trees and plants and the Tor Hill rose to touch the sky without a tower on the top. Then it was the shapes of the land that were important, the shapes of Her body.

The painting by Jonathan on the right side of the Temple shows the view again through a threefold window looking towards the southwest of the Sacred Isle where the sun sets. The hill slopes are visible with Wearyall Hill in the distance. A sailing boat is coming to shore landing at a quayside marked by standing stones. The waters of the Lake of Avalon extend into the distance towards the Sabrinean Sea.

The thing is, in order to make a change we have to change.

As Mary Magdalene said to me recently:

“Prepare. The calvary is not coming to save you because you are the calvary. You have everything you need within you to be the change you want to see in this world.”

Yep! She said it, that bit most of us know by now but maybe struggle with due to the thousands of years of being told it’s wrong, or being persecuted for: Within.

Gnosis. Direct Connection with the Divine/Goddess.

That’s how we are going to make the Shift by daily listening within and removing any blocks to this vital aspect of being who we are supposed to be.

The second part of this Shift is to move from I to Thy and Me to We. Through this alignment with the Divine within, we can then let go of what we think the plan is and surrender to the Divine plan. Goddess loves us and each of us has a part to play in this huge Shift in Consciousness. The only way we get to know our part is by connecting within and trusting in this eternal love and that the Divine has our back and wants what’s best for us.

And Mary Magdalene wants to help. She knows how to transcend and transform the most devastating and dangerous situations and follow a path of Love.

The year has begun, and social media has filled with lists of New Year’s resolutions, new versions of ourselves, pounds to lose, habits to fix, daily routines to change.

We in Avalon are immersed in the Energies of the Winter Solstice; everything becomes quiet and silent. Life takes on the rhythm of candlelight (have you tried lighting a candle as soon as you wake up and seeing the day begin with a warm glow, instead of the illumination provided by your phone screen? We know how important it is not to start the day by overstimulating ourselves as soon as we wake up with notifications, chats, news, and reels… let’s try adding the warmth of candlelight, especially when we wake up and it’s still dark outside. The sun here in Avalon didn’t rise until 8:13 today). Life has the scent of hot herbal tea, and Stillness envelops us.

Even when we go outside, time seems suspended, the cold freezes the grass and sidewalks, and few birds show up. Stillness.

This isn’t the time for New Year’s resolutions; let’s postpone them until September, under the influence of Virgo, or until Samhain, the great turning of the Wheel. Or let’s spread them out throughout the year, tackling them one at a time.

Not now, this it’s a time for rest, meditation, and self-examination.

To love ourselves.

To accept ourselves.

Without stressing ourselves out by running to the gym or changing our life all at once... a habit so deeply rooted that next Monday is called Blue Monday, the saddest of the year, precisely because it’s when we realize we’ve put too many things on our list and are disappointed in ourselves.

We are enough.

This week we’re dedicating our space to the New Year’s predictions of our talented Priestess Maria Jones, tutor of our Silver Spiral, a Goddess-centered astrology course, which you can also take online starting March 21st.

After the intense Karmic clear up and back and forth energy of 2025, we enter a new year and a whole new astrological paradigm of Fire and Air element transits.

Saturnia, Neptunia and Urania will now fully ingress into Aries and Gemini, as Jupitera enters Leo and the North Node heads in Aquarius. We are no longer drowning in the astral waters, the healing journey is done and it is time to move forward with confidence into the new.

2026 is numerologically a “1” year, ruled over by the energies of the Solar Goddess Herself, and the Magician/Magus Card of the Major Arcana.
This is a 12-month cycle of recognising our own power to create change in our reality, beginning with the Capricorn New Moon, on the 18^th of January. Sitting close to Mars, this lunation asks us to refine the foundations of our visions for the New year. to be realistic and practical about what we wish to build.

February 2026 brings us some of the most powerful astrology of our lifetimes, beginning with a Solar Eclipse in Aquarius on the 17^th. Although the nodes will remain on the Pisces/Virgo axis until August, this eclipse gives us a taste of what we can expect when the North Node enters the sign of the Star Goddess later in 2026.

In the midst of the Eclipse Portal, Saturnia and Neptunia complete their long dance across the cusp of the Zodiac, conjoining at 0 degrees of Aries, the beginning of the silver wheel on the 20^th. This is truly unprecedented astrology. Neptunia and Saturnia have not conjunct in Aries since 1703 and have not merged on the 0-degree point since 4361BC, according to Astrologer Heather Ensworth.

This conjunction calls us out of the waters of dissolution, into radical new beginnings. We can finally see what is worth investing our energy into and courageously take steps to towards its manifestation. The highest aspect of Saturnian and Neptunian energy is the “crystallisation of the dream.”

It is an energy that allows us to solidify and root the dreams and visions we receive from the higher realms. The Aries element brings us the fire to take action, boldly envisioning a new future for ourselves and humanity.

On a collective level, this transit, working alongside the Pluto in Aquarius/Urania in Gemini transits will amplify the energies of revolution we having been seeing build. With Saturnia in Aries, the people no longer wish to give their power away to authorities outside themselves, yet Neptunia’s fog makes it hard for us to be coherent, dissipating our will and creating confusion.

On a mundane level this Arian energy can play out as wars, or other military actions/restrictions put in place by governments. We also saw the news about Digital I.D roll outs as Saturnia entered Aries last year, as predicted. Aries rues over our Self Identity and autonomy, Saturnia is restriction, so we can expect this issue to be pivotal over the coming years.

Saturnia and Neptunia only conjoin once every 37 years. What is set into motion at this time will have long lasting repercussions that will impact us all for many years to come.

Mercuria begins Her first Retrograde of 2026 at 22 degrees Pisces on the 26^th of February. Mercuria will be retrograding in water signs in 2026, taking us deep into emotional realms to cleanse and heal.

Mars joins Venus, Sol and Mercury in Pisces on the 2^nd of March.

With the second Eclipse of this period falling in Virgo on the 3^rd of March, this is set to be a time of purification, surrender and restructuring as we head towards the Spring Equinox. Mercuria will Station direct on the 20^th of March, just as Sol enters Aries and the new astrological year begins. From this point on, things begin to feel lighter as the Aries energy re-awakens our life force.

The energy of the year continues to pick up speed as we head into April, with Mars also heading into the sign of the Ram, and Urania returning to Gemini on the 26^th. Urania will now remain in the sign of the Celestial Sistars for 7 years.

As we experienced briefly in 2025, This transit brings awakenings and insights, and more fast paced developments in the areas of media and technology. We are upgrading our internal and external software! It is important we work to stay grounded and regulated as this quicksilver energy pours in over the Beltane Season.

On June the 19^th Chiron enters Taurus for the first time since 1977! The collective healing journey now focuses on the areas of self-love, body image, values and finances. Chiron will retrograde back into Aries in September, returning to Taurus in April 2027.

Sol enters crosses the Solstice Threshold, entering the Nurturing Waters of Cancer on the 21^st of June. A week later on the 29^th of June, Mercuria will station retrograde for the second time this year, leading us in a month of Ancestral Healing and Soul Reflection. She will resume direct motion on the 23^rd of July.

On June the 30^th, Jupitera enters Leo for the first time in 12 years. In Leo, the Golden Goddess magnifies the frequency of Abundance, Creativity and Sovereignty. She reminds of the importance of doing what brings us joy, awakening our sensuality and encouraging us to dance, and play and make art. She teaches us to know ourselves through our creations.

The shadow side of Jupitera in Leo can be tyranny, and exaggerated sense of pride, a desire for power over others, and dramatics/emotional theatrics. This can be a ‘me first’ kind of energy.

As Jupitera enters Leo, She will quickly oppose Plutonia in Aquarius marking the halfway point of their current Cycle which began in 2020. As the Nodes also enter these signs in August, the collective polarisation between hierarchy (Leo) and anarchy (Aquarius) will become ever more intense. Jupitera will also trine Neptunia and Saturnia in Aries as She moves through Leo, amplifying the need for self-expression and self-empowerment.

Jupitera will remain in Leo until July 2027.

We also have our first Eclipse of the upcoming new Nodal Cycle in Leo on the 12^th of August, with the Nodes officially switching signs on the 18^th. With the North Node now in Aquarius until March of 2028, our collective focus will become even more attuned to the need for freedom. We can expect to see the themes of radical revolution and rebellion continue to unfold, as the Aquarian energy calls us towards creating a fairer, more equal world. With the North Node and Pluto here, and Urainia now in Gemini for 7 years the already rapidly advancing technological world will begin to become ever more immersive making it hard to distinguish what is real and what is AI.

We must choose to focus on the higher Octaves of Aquarius, remembering our cosmic origins and focusing on our connection to something more than ourselves, ensuring we don’t get enmeshed in the Hive Mind, chained to the Algorithms. The Aquarian desire for advancement and evolution must be balanced with Leo, the warmth of the open, generous heart.

The last time the North node was in Aquarius was December 19, 2007, to August 21, 2009.

The second Eclipse of this Period will be a Lunar Eclipse at 4 degrees of Pisces, on the 28^th of August. This will be the last Eclipse in the sign of the Fish Mother for around 9 years, bringing culmination and completion to the journey of the previous 18month cycle.

Sol enters Libra, initiating the Autumnal Equinox on the 23^rd of September, a fiery Aries Full Moon rises just 3 days later, illuminating the astrological axis of self and other.

As we descend into the Autumnal Months, we experince the most significant retrograde of the Year as Lady Venus stations retrograde in Scorpio on the 3^rd of October. Venus will retrograde between Libra and Scorpio.

The Star Point She makes on the 24^th of October, will be the last one in Scorpio in our lifetimes, as the StarPoint cycle shifts from the deep, dark waters of the Sorceress, into the airy Temple of Venus ruled Libra.

This Venus Retrograde will take us down into the underworld to examine our shadows around relationships, sexuality and resources. Venus will station direct at 22 degrees of the sign of the Scales on the 14^th of November.

Mercuria will also retrograde in Scorpio during this powerful Samhain time, amplifying the themes of soul excavation, guiding us to peel back the layers of falsehood to see the truth.

Venus does not leave Her retrograde shadow until the 16^th of December!

Saturnia and Neptunia also Station direct as we move through the Solstice period, expanding our capacity to move forward once more.

I feel you, like us, immersed in the energy of this Winter Solstice. Sometimes the chaos of daily life can take us far from the bliss of Yuletide, so I invite you to pause with us, breathe deeply, and connect with this poem by our Priestess of Avalon, Patricia Sutherland:

In the deep hush of winter, the Isle of Avalon feels as though it drifts

between breaths of the world. Mist curls low across the water, soft as

memory, carrying the faint scent of apple wood and ancient magic.

The orchards stand bare but not barren- each branch cradling the

promise of spring, sleeping under a sky of pearl-grey light. The sacred

lake lies still , its surface smooth as polished glass, reflecting the quiet

majesty of the Tor rising above it.

Even the wind moves gently here, as if mindful not to disturb the wisdom

woven into the land.

In this season of stillness, Avalon is a sanctuary of pause-

A place where time loosens its grip, where the heart can rest, and where

the old stories whisper more clearly.

Winter lays a silver blessing upon the Isle, reminding all who journey

there that stillness is not emptiness but the quiet space where

transformation begins.
