Regarding the monarchy, Harald V, the King of Norway, passed away at the age of 89 on August 28th. On the 26th, King Charles’ youngest son Harry, along with his wife Meghan and their two children, arrived back to the United Kingdom, setting up residence. On the 27th, King Oyo of Tooro (also known as King Rukidi IV) of Uganda passed away at the age of 34 while undergoing treatment for cancer in the United States. (Please note that King Oyo’s death in some sources will state the 28th, due to time zone differences.)

During eclipse season, Trump’s tariff with Canada heated back up. The August 27th eclipse applies a conjunction to the Prime Minister’s Saturn in Pisces, located in his 11th house, where we tend to see the friends of a nation. Transiting Saturn in Aries is conjunct to his natal Mercury in Aries in the 12th house. This configuration of transits shows how Carney will take reluctant responsibility for the situation, by retaliating back with tariffs but in a systematic, well-thought-out manner, which we saw on August 25th.

Unfortunately, we also saw some tragedies occurring in August, including the unexpected Nepal-Tibet flash flood. Though too soon to know exactly how many people have lost their lives, as of this writing, over 4,000 souls have been impacted with over 900 of them confirmed to have died.

This eclipse season, especially the Lunar Eclipse on August 27th/28th, was gut-wrenching for many, as Uranus was square to the eclipse. I am not going to say that September will be quieter, but it won’t have the same immediacy that August had. Before looking at the energy week by week, here is a list of astrological events for your calendar.

The impacts of the eclipses do carry forward. If you lost loved ones, you are dealing with the aftermath. If you have recently given birth, you are learning how to live with less sleep. If you had a breakup, you are navigating single life. However, not everyone had life-altering events in August; it really depends on your own chart. This article is about the transits as a whole, and not how your chart will respond to the transits. Keep this in mind as you read the overarching energy of each week.

September 1st - 5th

We start the month with a short week, due to August 31st landing on a Monday.

The last part of August, Mars in Cancer was applying a square to Saturn in Aries. Regardless of what you’ve been working on, you probably weren’t finishing your work at the speed you wanted. The good news is that this square is exact on the early morning hours of September 1st. From now through September 7th, the square will separate. This doesn’t mean that roadblocks disappear all at once, but you may find that you are able to accomplish more in September than you did in August.

Though Jupiter is in an easy trine with Saturn, you get more done by focusing on long-term projects than those that are quick and easy. But you could be put into a situation this week where you have to protect or defend your work, especially in regard to time. The key here is not to overpromise and underdeliver, but instead to negotiate something that is actually doable.

The good news is that Mars in Cancer is sextile to Mercury in Virgo. Why does this matter? Because if you can show others that you have the facts, data, and methods and procedures laid out, you most likely will be able to convince teammates that you have the dedication and care to complete your endeavors. It is wise to communicate the benefits of doing the work right the first time, so that the project doesn’t have to be reworked in the future.

But how does this energy apply to you on a personal level? First of all, Mars is applying a sextile to the Sun in Virgo as well (which will go exact on September 14th). This sextile gives us the energy we need to tackle something large, work longer hours and feel good while expending our energy.

This is a good time to pick back up a hobby that you once had, clean out closets, or write out your plans for winterizing the home. It is a week of organizing, categorizing and checking off things from your “to-do” list.

September 6th - 12th

This is a week of change, not in a lightning-bolt, unpredictable sense, but more so as a shift in perspective. The week started off with tension building, as Venus in Libra in the last few degrees is applying itself to an out-of-sign T-square with Pluto in Aquarius and Chiron in Taurus. Relationships can feel a bit strained, as if something is beneath the surface but you just can’t put your finger on exactly what it is.

However, Venus moves into the sign of Scorpio on the 10th of the month. Venus is in its detriment when in the sign of Scorpio. Venus prefers balance and harmony, whereas Scorpio energy wants to dig deep into the root cause of issues. With the square to Pluto, this can be tense. It is easy to point fingers and blame others or become obsessed with a certain dynamic of the relationship, such as sex, money, or responsibilities. There could be a desire to “even the score.” Now I am not saying that an unbalanced relationship shouldn’t be addressed, but sometimes we only see the situation from one perspective.

Also, on the 10th, as Venus moves out of the sign of Libra, Mercury enters the sign of Libra. With Mercury’s opposition to Neptune, you may not see the totality of what is happening. Though this configuration can sometimes help us to tap into our subconscious, we could have deceptive thoughts as we search for root causes. Due to Mercury’s trine to Pluto, this is the epitome of going down a rabbit hole and losing the plot along the way.

Uranus, which is also trine to Mercury, goes retrograde a few hours later in the sign of Gemini. The trine wants to find solutions, and you could have sudden flashes of insight. However, there is also a sense of impatience, or a feeling that you’ve come to the same space over and over again without resolution.

All of these changes happen on the day of the New Moon in the analytical sign of Virgo. Some relationships may be ending on or around the 10th. However, some relationships have the potential for a breakthrough and a fresh start. Again, this comes down to perspective as well as your own chart. The New Moon will be at 18°25’, so check your placements in the mutable signs of Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces.

The flavor of the New Moon is about taking action, with its sextile to Mars in Cancer. You could stand up for your convictions, and have the energy for transformative change. There is a sense of self-reliance while being of service to the greater good.

(If you were born in 1965 through the first few months of 1967, this New Moon will be conjunct to your Uranus-Pluto conjunction. This could bring your sarcasm, wit and rebellious nature to the forefront and give you a creative vehicle to express why you are here on this planet. Maybe all of those black clothes and tools in your garage have a purpose?)

The Mercury trine to Pluto perfects on the morning of the 12th. Take advantage of this energy by having profound conversations with others, especially around hidden or obscure matters. It’s a great time to challenge the ideals you were taught, and to determine if it was just lip service or something worth putting energy towards.

September 13th - 19th

Mars perfects its sextile to the Sun on September 14th. Expect a surge of energy. This harmonious aspect is great for exercising or engaging in a physical activity. If you have a desk job, you may feel restless sitting all day, so do some squats or other exercise while working. If you have the ability to use a standing desk for part of the day, you may want to do that.

Mercury opposes Saturn throughout the week and perfects its opposition on the 18th. Our thoughts and communication become serious. We may be entangled in an ultimatum or have to make a consequential decision this week. Some people may be dealing with issues surrounding material goods or finances, due to Saturn’s separating trine with Jupiter. This is not a week where we desire to be around others, but instead, to tend to important matters.

Since the Moon is waxing this week, you may decide to initiate and take action on something you’ve been planning to do. This is a great time to start writing your novel, decorate your home, sign up for an art class or anything else that brings you a sense of peace or surrounds you in beauty. If you are ambitious, this is a good week to refinish furniture or take action on a home project.

Whatever it is that you decide to do this week, the energy is there for most people to concentrate and make real strides, even if it is something ordinary like picking up a book to read.

Venus in Scorpio perfects its square with Pluto in Aquarius on the 15th. If you have had a relationship go south over the past few months, September may be hard for you to let the person go. It is as if they linger in the background, and you may have a hard time moving forward. Eventually, this energy will fade, once we hit the month of October.

On the 17th, Chiron retrogrades into the sign of Aries. Chiron will stay in the sign of Aries until April 14th, 2027, when it enters back into the sign of Taurus. While in retrograde, Chiron in Aries emphasizes the healing work that needs to be done by those who have bullied us, been aggressive and taken away our power. Chiron’s healing effects are about finding our own autonomy, strengthening our resolve and believing that we are just as important as anyone else. The key over the next 7 months is to build your own sense of self-worth.

With the sweeping advancements of surveillance and AI, I expect over the next several months we will see individuals standing up for their rights, especially in the United States under the 4th Amendment.

September 20th - 26th

On the 22nd, the Sun enters the sign of Libra. The Sun is in its debility when it is in Libra, since Libra is the opposite sign of Aries, where the Sun is exalted. Out of all of the debilities, this may be one that can be harder to wrap your head around. The Sun is about the self, expressing vigor and personality. But Libra energy is about balance, partnership and cooperation. Since Libra focuses on others, the Sun is considered to be in its Fall. This is why, at times, someone with a Libra Sun is indecisive. Their energy wants to push forward with a sense of individual purpose, but subjected to the Libra archetype, they don’t want to impose on other people, which tempers their expression. Occasionally, this leads to inaction, or charm as a substitute for forcefulness.

I do want to wish all of the Libra Suns out there a Happy Birthday. I know it is tough to be on that tightrope, constantly balancing your own vitality with grace.

On the other end of the polarity from Libra is Aries, and we have a Full Moon in Aries on September 26th. The Moon will be in conjunction with Neptune. This can be a sensitive Full Moon, as intuition is heightened.

With Pluto and Uranus sextile to the Full Moon, your obsession with someone could take over, since the energy lends itself to craving something instinctual. If it were me, I’d probably be playing the k.d. lang song, “Constant Craving,” but if you are younger than 55, you may have Sabrina Carpenter’s song, “Please Please Please” on repeat.

This Full Moon could be one of hookups. Does this apply to everyone? No, not at all. The energy is out there to draw you into something that you want to fulfill, be it being seen in a positive light, finishing a creative project or confessing your hidden desires. If you have personal planets (Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus and Mars) in the early degrees of air and fire signs, you will enjoy the energy the most.

When both the Moon and the Sun drive the show, sitting in the signs of relationships and self, and the outer planets of Uranus, Neptune and Pluto are involved, almost anything can happen. The Libra Sun trines both Uranus and Pluto, creating flow to activities that are electrifying and compulsively driven.

But if this electric energy doesn’t show up in your chart, that is okay. If the whole world were in a euphoric tizzy, it would be strange. For many of us, the energy will just aid us with our work, and help us to get along with others.

September 27th - 30th

The day after the Full Moon, Saturn and the Moon will conjunct in the sign of Aries. There can be a feeling of letdown on this day. Maybe we regret our activities from the night before, or just wake up feeling alone or isolated. Fortunately, Moon conjunctions don’t last long, and as the day goes on, the somber mood diminishes.

On the evening of the 27th, Mars moves into the bold, dynamic sign of Leo, and will no longer be fallen in the sign of Cancer. Your personal energy may feel charged, as if you’ve been able to climb out of the mud and move forward with your work and especially with any creative ventures. However, Mars in Leo can be quite competitive and driven by attention or drama. Mars will ingress into the sign of Virgo on November 25th. This is Mars in Leo part one, because Mars will go retrograde in the sign of Virgo and go back into the sign of Leo on February 21st and stay in Leo until May 14th, 2027. What this means is that some of the actions you take over the next couple of months may be revisited in 2027, and could need rectification or revisions.

When it comes to mundane astrology and leaders of the world, I expect we will see some of the leaders taking extraordinary risks, attempting to dominate their position aggressively. In the Washington, DC’s Libra Ingress chart, the Sun (the authority of the United States) will be in the 7th house (foreign affairs that are political or commercial). Let’s just say it would not be surprising if continued economic sanctions or financial rewards were used by the administration during this time with other countries in a more dramatic fashion. This is because before Mars enters Leo, Mars in Cancer will be conjunct to Trump’s natal Saturn and Venus in the 12th house, thus he and his team are making behind-the-scenes deals and applying pressure to get what they want financially and within the confines of what Trump lays out.

On the last day of September, Mercury enters the deep sign of Scorpio. If our thoughts were more about putting band-aids on problems, the shift to Scorpio is about figuring out the root cause of issues. Conversations can be deep and penetrating. With Mercury applying a square to Mars in Leo and a conjunction to Venus in Scorpio, expect negotiations to occur in relationships in regard to the impacts of action or the lack thereof. Those that are doing the heavy emotional labor in a relationship may vocalize their need for support or may decide that enough is enough, especially if the partner is not receptive.

To see the eclipse, you must live in an area where it is night during the eclipse. The western side of Greenland and the eastern side of North America, along with most of Central America and South America will be able to see the eclipse. This also includes Cuba, the Caribbean islands and other islands located in the Atlantic Ocean. Some places adjacent to the above will still be able to see some of the partial eclipse, but it will not be as prominent as it will be in the areas mentioned.

The eclipse is part of the Saros Series 138. The prior eclipse in this series was on Aug 16, 2008 and it was also a partial eclipse but in the sign of Aquarius. The next eclipse in this series will be a total eclipse, on Sep 7, 2044, and it will also be in the sign of Pisces.

Full Moons, whether eclipsed or not, tend to be the accumulation of a cycle. Think about a work project, where you spent time analyzing the details, creating a slide presentation, researching, checking your sources, etc. Then, at the time of accumulation, you present your work to others. That time of presentation is similar to the energy of the Full Moon. It feels as if you’ve completed something big, yet, you still have emails to send out, additional meetings or edits to the work, and if successful, implementing your findings.

We are currently seeing something similar play out with King Charles and his son Harry. King Charles was born on November 14, 1948 at 9:14 pm in London, UK. The Rodden Rating for his chart is an A, meaning the information was gathered from news sources.

I had looked at the prior Solar eclipse to his chart on August 12th, and wrote the following observations on Reddit in the Advanced Astrology Politics Megathread:

• Saturn in Rx at 14° and is applying a tight conjunction to his natal MC at 13° - he may be put into a position where he needs to take responsibility for something in the past. His MC is in the 9th house, which could have something to do with the movement of goods and communications with other countries.

• Saturn is also in opposition to his natal Neptune at 14° Libra (and with Venus at 16° Libra) - This opposition could tie into a couple of things. First, his duties as king and what is best for the country, which could be a struggle with passing the torch. He may be holding onto an ideal, like his mother, to not abdicate the throne until death. But at the same time, he desires to have fun and enjoy his final years. This also may have something to do with his relationship with Harry, his youngest son. He could be coming to terms that he was part of the problem of any tension between the two of them.

• The eclipse at 20° Leo makes a conjunction to his natal Pluto at 16° Leo and Ceres at 19° Leo. - King Charles may be learning that all Harry wanted was some nurturance, and through this process, Charles has a new perspective on the past. But this can also be Charles stepping down from his role to take care of his health, or the combination of the two.

• The eclipse square to his natal Sun in Scorpio at 22° in the 4th house shows that the days around the eclipse are emotional and challenging, especially when dealing with his life work and family.

On August 20th, news outlets report that Harry and Meghan are moving back to the UK at the end of August.

The Lunar eclipse in Pisces has the Sun and Mercury in Virgo, conjunct to King Charles’s natal Saturn and the Pisces Moon in opposition to his Saturn. With the Sun conjunct to his natal Saturn, King Charles will want to wrap up any unfinished business and with the Moon in opposition, he wants to resolve areas of his life where he feels isolated. There are other transits during this Full Moon providing assistance in regards to King Charles’s relationships, such as Venus conjunct his natal Venus in Libra, sextile to his 5th house Mars in Sagittarius and sextile to his 1st house natal Pluto in Leo.

Harry and Meghan moving to the UK is the accumulation of their tense relationship with the King. However, even after the reunion, I am sure there will still be work to do to mend and heal the relationships. But this is an example of how the Solar Eclipses and Lunar Eclipses can play out in a chart, where one takes ownership for their role.

Keep in mind, not every eclipse impacts you. It all depends on your chart. Some eclipses will land like a regular New and Full Moon, while others will reflect monumental events in your life. Also, there are times where we don’t see the accumulation for weeks or months later.

An example of this is 1972, when Neil Diamond recorded his live album Hot August Night. We had a Lunar Eclipse in Aquarius with the same Saros series as the current one, number 138. The Sun was conjunct Neil’s natal Pluto in Leo at 3° and the Full Moon was conjunct his natal Sun at 4° in Aquarius. He had 10 sold-out shows at the Greek Theater in Los Angeles in August, with the last show and the live recording on August 24th, 1972. The album was released on December 9th, 1972 to both critical and commercial success. (As a young girl, side 4 of the double album was my favorite.)

With that said, let’s get into the logistics of this Lunar Eclipse, which will be at 4°54’ in the sign of Pisces. If you have placements, especially placements within 8-10 degrees of the eclipse in the signs of Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius or Pisces, this eclipse may resonate with you.

With the Moon in Pisces, it can be an imaginative time, taking in impressions of others, and creating your own inner world. However, since Pisces energy can be self-sacrificing and illusionary, we want to look at the whole chart to see how the day will play out. As with all Full Moons, including eclipses, there is a tension between the two signs, so what is factual and what is deception is sure to come to light around this eclipse.

The Energy Around the Eclipse

The Royal Fixed star of Fomalhaut is conjunct to the Moon and Mercury in Virgo is conjunct to the Sun during the eclipse. Both of these configurations are in a T-square with Uranus in Gemini.

Fomalhaut

Fomalhaut is a fixed star in the constellation Piscis Austrinus, and is currently at 4°14, making a tight applying conjunction to the Full Moon at 4°54’. The star’s name comes from Arabic phrase Fum al Ḥū which translates to the Fish’s Mouth. It sits below the foot of Aquarius. Fomalhaut is considered a Royal Star and is known as the Watcher of the South.

According to Bernadette Brady, “Fomalhaut contains a touch of the mystic, a sense of magic, and is based on high ideals or lofty visions.” According to Vivian Robson, when Fomalhaut conjuncts the Moon, we can experience “secret business causing much trouble and enmity, but eventually gain after many difficulties.”

Typically, Full Moons are accumulations and eclipses are a shift of perception. Due to the influence of the Pisces Moon, information that had been obscured or shrouded in fog may come to light, but not in a direct manner. Though, whatever is revealed may be done so behind the scenes or through alternative channels, as opposed to mainstream media.

But don’t be surprised if information involves people that you idealize or systems that you have faith in. Am I saying that a scandal will come out? No, not necessarily. But the veil of what happens could be lifted a small bit.

The Full Moon T-Square With Uranus and the Conjunction with Mercury

The energy surrounding the Full Moon will be hyperkinetic. When Mercury is squared to Uranus, there can be flashes of insight, lots of excitement and movement. Mercury, in its domicile sign of Virgo, means that information will seem like a data dump, and facts and figures could be used to either gain clarity or flood the field to get the upper hand on any narrative.

Whenever Mercury is conjunct to the Sun, information is shared and distributed, often with a specific point of view. It is as if everyone feels compelled to tell their own personal story or give an opinion, even if they have not done their due diligence in regards to research or analytics.

Because the Moon is in opposition to Mercury and the Sun, with Mercury and the Sun moving through the productive sign of Virgo, that information can still feel emotionally overwhelming or defeating. Virgo energy wants to be of service and parse out facts, but with the square to Uranus, the conjunction to the Sun and the opposition to the Moon, everything feels subjective instead of objective. Luckily, Mercury will be in the sign of Virgo until September 10th, which gives it time to settle into the minutiae and analyze whatever information is released around the eclipse.

The takeaway is that if any big event occurs around the Lunar Eclipse, don’t let it flood your emotions or dramatically change your perspective until you have time to evaluate the situation logically. Keep this in mind, not just for external happenings, but for anything that occurs personally as well.

With both the Sun and Moon square to Uranus, there is a likelihood for accidents to occur this week. Be careful with transportation. Though major accidents throughout the world could make the news cycle, be conscientious while driving or being a passenger. Some people will be distracted or impulsive, so it is important to pay attention while on any vehicle or near any form of traffic.

Mars and Jupiter in Aspect to Saturn

Though I tend to joke that Saturn is the wet blanket of life, sometimes we need Saturn’s disciplined nature.

Mars will be square with Saturn until September 8th. This aspect creates barriers with whatever we are trying to accomplish. You may find your boss giving you new projects or asking you to attend meetings, while you are handling your other responsibilities. You could be working on a creative project, and feel like your inspiration is blocked. This square is annoying, especially since Mars wants to move forward and take quick action. Both Saturn and Mars are in fall, since Saturn is in the fast-acting zodiac sign of Aries and Mars is in the security-focused sign of Cancer. The best way to handle blocks is to take a few minutes and do some sort of slow, deliberate exercise, such as squats, lunges or planks. The 5-minute distraction could loosen up the energy, and help you to think of other solutions.

The good news is that Jupiter is in trine to Saturn, which can allow you to get work done. Jupiter adds some optimism, and gives you the wiggle room to know when to take a break or take a deep breath and find a resolution. There is a practicality with this trine, allowing you to reorganize and prioritize your schedule. Jupiter in Leo can help you make bold choices without being sacrificial or wallowing in negativity.

In regards to the Eclipse, Saturn’s aspects can help you to be more deliberate instead of reactive, and offer the possibility of self-control. However, this does depend on your own chart and how these transits impact you personally.

How the Eclipse Could Impact You

As mentioned earlier, you will want to look at your chart and determine where the eclipse lands in your chart and pay close attention to placements between 0 degrees and 10 degrees of Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces. This is the second to last Eclipse we have in the Virgo-Pisces polarity until the next cycle which starts on Mar 20, 2034 with a Solar eclipse in the sign of Pisces.

The eclipses for the Virgo-Pisces cycle are as follows:

• September 17th, 2024 - Partial Lunar Eclipse in Pisces

• March 14th, 2025 - Total Lunar Eclipse in Virgo

• September 7th, 2025 - Total Lunar Eclipse in Pisces

• September 21st, 2025 - Partial Solar Eclipse in Virgo

• March 3rd, 2026 - Total Lunar Eclipse in Virgo

• August 27th, 2026 - Partial Lunar Eclipse in Pisces

• February 20th, 2027 - Penumbral Lunar Eclipse in Virgo

The Virgo-Pisces polarity is about being of service, either to others around you or something larger, like humankind, the environment, the Earth or collective consciousness. How have you changed in the past two years? What have you learned?

One of the things that the Virgo-Pisces polarity teaches us is that we can’t help others unless we have the ability to understand both practical and emotional matters. Virgo pulls us towards grounded information and Pisces is about having compassion. Overlapping this polarity is the Leo-Aquarius dynamic, which we just had the second eclipse in that cycle 2 weeks ago, on August 12th. The message: Learn to move beyond the data or being a victim and work together to take back collective power. It’s about no longer idolizing leaders and then being a victim of their actions, but instead to work towards the good of humanity in a collective manner.

I personally tend to gravitate towards using the Saros series, since the placements of other planets are similar. Think back to what was happening in your life around August 2008 and what you’ve learned since then. This was a couple of months before the housing market crash, where banks were bailed out and people lost their homes due to balloon notes or lack of employment. Looking back, there’s a lot we can learn from how we handled things then. The question to ask yourself, as we move forward, will you act differently this time around as the economy and the world around you changes?

My advice, don’t get wrapped up in how 2 days impact your placements but instead zoom out, and look at your life and the world from a bird’s eye view. Sometimes the big picture can give you a bold direction on how to move forward.

The last Leo Solar Eclipse prior to this one was on Aug 11, 2018 and the last Lunar Eclipse we had in this sign was on Jan 20, 2019, which was also the last eclipse in the prior Leo-Aquarius cycle.

I tend to find that events at the last Lunar Eclipse cycle are left unresolved or have long term consequences. Even if something appeared to be completed back then, the loop of events could be revisited, not necessarily in a direct manner, but in an outcome that may not be what the first event was trying to accomplish. It is as if the circumstances get absorbed into a timewarp, players or actors may change, but resolution or completion is left up in the air.

The Solar Eclipse has the potential to start something new, but it would take concerted effort to shift the script. The ending of what was may not be clearly defined and the start of something new, could be a monumental shift, something that may not have been imagined, seen or predicted with the prior Lunar Eclipse.

Here were the events that occurred shortly after the Leo Lunar Eclipse on January 20th, 2019:

Venezuela

On January 23rd, 2019 there was the Venezuelan presidential crisis. President Maduro severs diplomatic ties with the United States as thousands of people protest in favor of disputed interim President Juan Guaidó, with the hopes that Maduro would step down.

In the beginning of 2026, the United States captured President Maduro from his palace. However, his government in Venezuela is still unresolved. Delcy Rodríguez, previously Maduro’s own Vice President, is still acting as interim president, even though the 90 day temporary position was extended without an election, and talks that were scheduled on August 1st, were reduced to a phone call.

Looking at the Chart of Venezuela, set on July 5, 1811 at 3:00 PM Caracas Distrito Federal, Municipio Libertador, VE with a Rodden rating of A, the Solar Eclipse occurs in the 10th house applying a conjunction to the chart’s MC. In addition, the South Node is applying a conjunction to the MC as well. Mars just entered the 9th house in the sign of Cancer. Their natal Moon is in the sign of Capricorn. And, Uranus in Gemini is in opposition to Venezuela’s natal Neptune.

My initial impression on this eclipse is that Venezuela will put their ideals on hold and favor material matters. The country may stay aligned with the United States, and the US may take actions, through the military, to ensure that the leadership in Venezuela is weakened and complies with the demands of the United States. I don’t see the role of the US waning during the next 6 months, and economic matters will be the priority in regards to whatever does happen with Venezuela, due to the Capricorn Moon being the dispositor of Mars, actions related to stability and safety are what matters most.

Huawei

On January 28th, the U.S.’s Justice Department charged Chinese tech firm Huawei with fraud. This act created increased tensions with the U.S.’s relationship with China.

Huawei is currently banned from doing business in the United States, though it remains a competitive force globally, selling products in 170 countries. Even though they are facing indictment from the United States, innovation and business did not cease. Due to being cut off from Google mobile services, Huawei developed HarmonyOS, which powers 1.3 billion connected devices worldwide. In addition, Huawei has developed their AI series of semiconductors known as the Ascend series, which takes a different approach to building semiconductors than Nvidia. Though Huawei is faced with some technical challenges, they are thinking outside of the known chip box when it comes to architecture and design. Essentially, the limits of the United States are forcing the company to innovate.

But this is not the end of the story, since settlement talks between Huawei and the US prosecutors have collapsed. In January 2026, a placeholder trial date was set. Huawei filed a motion to dismiss 13 of the 16 charges, which include trade secret theft, fraud and racketeering. However, Judge Ann Donnelly denied the motion, allowing the case to proceed.

Jury selection for the case is scheduled for September 8th, 2026, just weeks after this eclipse, and the US prosecutors expect the trial to last for approximately four to six months after its start date.

INF Treaty Withdrawal

On February 1st, U.S. President Donald Trump announced that the US is withdrawing from the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty of 1987. The cited cause is Russian non-compliance. Russia suspends its obligations the next day.

Tied to the INF Treaty was the Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty, aka START I. Signed in 1991 with the Soviet Union, it was designed to reduce the number of nuclear arms held by both countries, with Russia inheriting the treaty’s obligations after the USSR’s dissolution later that year. A New START program was implemented during the Obama administration, with a five year extension agreed in 2021, but this agreement expired on February 5th, 2026. However, Trump sent envoys, including Witkoff and Kushner, to meet with Russian officials in Abu Dhabi for a non-binding handshake deal to honor the current limits of the New START agreement. This six month extension was good through August 5th, 2026, just a week prior to this Solar Eclipse.

As of now, there is no news on an agreement between Russia and the United States capping the amount of nuclear weaponry. We don’t know if it is quietly extended, formalized, or lapsed between the two nations, thus this is another issue that is genuinely perceived as unresolved as of today.

Saros Series and the Eclipse Map

Besides looking at the last eclipse series, we can also look at the Saros Series as a whole. A Saros cycle, from one Solar or Lunar Eclipse to the next Solar or Lunar Eclipse in a series, is approximately 18 years and 11 days. I am purposely keeping this high level, especially in regards to the math involved in calculating each Solar or Lunar Eclipse in a series.

However, due to mathematics, ancient astrologers were able to calculate when they would physically see an eclipse in the future. Not every eclipse series is seen from one locale, which is important to know. Current astrologers talk about eclipses as a common occurrence, which they are, but due to the calculated path of each eclipse and your location, you are only seeing a small portion of eclipses that actually occur.

To put this in perspective, this Solar Eclipse is Saros Series 126. The last Solar Eclipse in this series was on August 1st, 2008 and the next one after the current eclipse will be on Aug 22, 2044.

The countries who will see this Solar Eclipse in its totality are Greenland, Iceland, Portugal, Spain and Russia. Other countries will also be able to see it, but only as a partial eclipse. For the United States, only those in the New England states will be able to see a small sliver of the eclipse. However, if you are in parts of Africa, Australia, India, Antarctica or South America, you will not be able to see this eclipse.

Usually, an eclipse that can be seen has more impact for a particular location than an eclipse that is out of view. However, since the world is interconnected, what happens in Russia or Spain could impact nations throughout the world.

Perseid Meteor Shower

There are some other unique features of this eclipse season. For instance, we are able to view a meteor shower during the Solar Eclipse. Though this is not an astrological phenomenon, it is as if the heavens are raining down upon us, clearing the air for change.

I did write the following in my monthly recap in regards to the meteor showers:

Swift-Tuttle comet, can be best viewed during the New Moon, due to the absence of the Moon’s reflection. It is best to watch the shower in the late night and pre-dawn hours of August 12th and 13th.

When it comes to astrology, comets don’t hold much space. Most likely this is due to their long cycle, and the inability for the ancients to determine the difference between comets and their cycles. However, one thing is consistent, meteor showers and comets have a rich history in lore, and leaders’ deaths or demise is often associated with the comet’s passing.

The meteor shower probably does not add any substantive symbolism to this week, since the potent event is the eclipse. However, time will tell as events unfold, if the comet’s debris can give us contextual clues beyond the astrology of the eclipse or historical lore.

Out of Bounds Planets

Another thing to note is that Mars and Pluto are out of bounds during the eclipse. Mars went out of bounds on August 3rd and is at 23° 41’ 21” North at the time of the eclipse. Pluto goes out of bounds on the day of the eclipse and is at -23° 26’ 18” South. When a planet is out of bounds, it tends to act outside of its norm, taking risks or being more of itself. For instance, Mars can speed up the rate or the amount of actions it takes. Pluto can shift power from one group or person to another.

This is important to keep in mind, because the South Node is at 29°47’ in Leo. The South Node ties into the actions of the past, but it can also drain the energy where it is located. There is a possibility, with all of these phenomena happening at once, that we may see a shift in leadership somewhere, especially with the South Node’s conjunction to the fixed star of Regulus. Regulus tends to turn its back on leaders who focus on vengefulness by stripping away prior successes. However, I want to warn you against jumping to conclusions or thinking I am saying that one particular person is going to fall from power.

The North Node is at 29°47’ in Aquarius, which is important to point out. When it comes to new beginnings, the energy is focused on non-conformity, and opposing the status quo. The theme is being an individual. However, the independence each person has supports humanitarian ideals and resolutions.

Keep in mind, this Solar Eclipse is not over the United States. However, when I cast a chart for Washington DC, the Solar Eclipse is in the 10th house of the administration, along with the South Node, Jupiter and Mercury. If it were just the South Node and the eclipse, I probably wouldn’t be saying, don’t jump to conclusions.

However, I think this eclipse is more like the beginning of the end, since many citizens, regardless of political party alignment, are concerned with how the government is spending money. This isn’t going to be a one and done thing, even if certain people were no longer in government. Like the examples above, whatever happens around this time, could linger and be unresolved for a while, even if events seem sudden or destined to resolve immediately.

This Solar Eclipse is only the second eclipse in the Leo-Aquarius season. We still have more twists and turns to experience. The eclipses in this polarity are:

• Feb 17, 2026 - Solar Eclipse in Aquarius

• Aug 12, 2026 - Solar Eclipse in Leo

• Feb 6, 2027 - Solar Eclipse in Aquarius

• Aug 2, 2027 - Solar Eclipse in Leo

• Aug 17, 2027 - Lunar Eclipse in Aquarius (this is a penumbral eclipse, which could be an unseen seed of what is next or hidden)

• Jan 26, 2028 - Solar Eclipse in Aquarius

As we can see, most of the eclipses in this series are Solar, meaning we will be wrapping up what was left open in the prior series. This is a series of endings and beginnings, as opposed to accumulation along the symbolic axis of rulership and humanitarianism.

The Energy on the Day of the Solar Eclipse

As we’ve covered, the Solar Eclipse is essentially a New Moon, a transiting of cycles, where some things end while others start. We have a Lunar Eclipse on the 27th, which makes this a month of transformation.

Both the Sun and the Moon trine Saturn, the planet of limits, responsibility and discipline. Saturn aids us in keeping our emotions under control, but Saturn can be a wet blanket, and may make us feel disappointed, especially if we get our hopes up that the changes we are going through would be more dramatic.

Saturn is here to teach us discipline, and a reminder that we actually need to put energy into whatever objectives we have. It is about the long haul, not immediate satisfaction. Saturn does help us concentrate on the details, which is just as important as the big picture.

Mercury will be at the same position as the eclipse on August 20th. With that said, using your mind and being aware of how you communicate is critical during the eclipse.

Mercury is conjunct to Jupiter and sextile to Venus. This is where expanding outwards in our thoughts can give us a clearer picture of the future. For instance, if you are in a circumstance that isn’t working, maybe it’s time to look at how other people live in other cultures or political systems that are different from what you’ve been taught. It can be hard to see possibilities when you are only referencing one prescribed algorithm or history. Removing learned biases can broaden your pool of possible solutions.

With Venus involved, the energy is filled with creative solutions, as well as sharing ideas with friends and peers. You just may find when you express your feelings that others may be thinking and feeling the same as you, even if you thought the two of you were worlds apart.

Since both Mercury and Venus are in aspect with the Barbault Basket of July 2026, where Uranus, Neptune, Pluto and Jupiter were at the same degree, new ideas can come to light, especially when you interact with new people and explore different concepts. For instance, there are people in New York City asking the mayor to fill pot holes or install water fountains via videos on social media. Then, they are recording follow-up videos of the work that was completed. This is a fresh and different way to get things done, rather than the traditional route of going to city council meetings, hoping to be heard.

Ingenuity isn’t exclusive to other people. Uranus gives us the ability to tackle old problems in a different way, and allows for spontaneity. There is no reason why something similar to what is happening in NYC can’t happen elsewhere. Or, you can explore your own out-of-the-box thinking, like getting together with neighbors and fixing something yourself.

During the eclipses, I recommend not getting attached to what-ifs, the past and a timeline, since those things tend to bring disappointment. Ideals and implementation need to be realistic, but inventive. Get used to exploring different tools or techniques, especially if you’ve tried things the same way over and over again without results. These are lessons from the Barbault Basket, and these eclipses are putting an exclamation point upon July, allowing your imagination and desire to get to the root of the matter.

For instance, stop looking for jobs or love the way you have done in the past. Algorithms are not your friend, and are designed to make money, not connections. With both Mars and Pluto out of bounds, and Venus’ aspects to the basket, use the eclipse energy to jolt you into a different way of doing things.

For instance, send your resume directly to people inside the company you want to apply for with an email about yourself. You can look up how companies format their employee email addresses and find contacts through a company’s website or through employee networking sites. Back in the early 2010s, I worked for a Fortune 200 company. Our executive team was frustrated that HR couldn’t get “butts in the seats.” Even back then, the software would eliminate potential candidates. Internally, we were incentivized to bring in talent by bypassing some of the systems that kept people out.

Many recruiting sites and applications will remember a rejection of an applicant even if the person is qualified for another position. This is why your creativity and gumption matter.

And dating is the same. These dating applications are not in business to make connections. So take the risk and go to events that you normally wouldn’t go to and start conversations with people. This is how you make the most of Mercury in Leo and Venus in Libra. Mercury in Leo is bold and Venus is in its domicile, so talk, flirt, ask questions and be out there, enjoying what life has to offer.

This eclipse season is about focusing on long term goals without ignoring the everyday experience. With Jupiter in trine to Saturn, you can find solutions to whatever roadblocks you are experiencing. Yes, you will have to take some risks, and whether we only live once or have a plethora of past lives, you might as well make the most of the current astrological energy.

The big news for August are the eclipses. Eclipses tend to come in pairs (though we do have some years, where we may see a pattern with a Lunar, then Solar and then Lunar eclipse). This year, we have a Solar Eclipse in the sign of Leo followed by a Lunar Eclipse approximately two weeks later in the sign of Pisces.

These two signs represent paternal, king-like energy and the self-sacrificing, compassionate collective. Now, before you read further, I am not implying here that a specific leader may go by the wayside this month, though the demise of leaders tends to happen around eclipses. Nor am I saying this eclipse season will usher in a new sympathetic tone to the world. Change doesn’t happen like that, even when dramatic events occur.

For instance, when a leader passes away, their heir, vice president, or political party will put someone in power that aligns with current status. I am calling this out because, as someone who moderates a subreddit, I see people who hold onto recent astrological events, such as the Mars-Uranus conjunction for one big event to change everything. Unfortunately, that is only something we see in a movie, where historical timelines are condensed into two hours. If you want change in the real world, you are going to have to roll up your sleeves and make it happen for yourself, by working with others and using your imagination, which is something that is indicative of Piscean energy.

Essentially, eclipses are supercharged New and Full Moons. Due to the proximity of the nodes, events surrounding the eclipses tend to feel destined in nature, which is what creates both lore and holding onto a hopeful change. During eclipses we could see a public figure passing away, or a pivotal event happening surrounding a leader or country, such as the death of Pope Francis a few weeks after the eclipses last year. However, the power of an eclipse is not just for leaders. Depending on our own chart, eclipses can sometimes be a turning point for ourselves, such as when I gave birth to my son almost 38 years ago, the day before a Pisces Lunar Eclipse. His birth was pivotal for me, teaching me an ongoing lesson of love, responsibility and healing.

In regards to geopolitics, we could see a leader, such as Trump, boast about action toward a sovereign nation or territory, such as Greenland, in this eclipse season, and then move to actually attempt it. Most likely, the power flex won’t find much support, either abroad or at home. The reason why I call out Greenland, is because it is in the path of both eclipses. However, there are other countries that are in both paths, so this is more of an example than a prediction per se.

Besides the eclipses, Venus will go into the sign of Libra at the start of the month. The sign of Libra is ruled by Venus, thus making Venus in its domicile, a sign whose energy works well with the planet.

Venus tends to stay in sign for roughly four weeks, and approximately, every eighteen months, Venus will retrograde. From the start of August through the beginning of January, Venus will either be in the harmonious, relationship focused sign of Libra or in the intense, intimate sign of Scorpio. Though there is no retrograde activity in August, the upcoming Venus retrograde cycle looks like this:

• Venus enters Libra on August 6th

• Venus enters Scorpio on September 10th

• Venus goes into retrograde in Scorpio on October 3rd

• Venus remains in retrograde and enters the sign of Libra on October 25th

• Venus stations direct in the sign of Libra on November 13th

• Venus reenters the sign of Scorpio on December 4th

• Venus enters the sign of Sagittarius on January 7th

With the back and forth between Libra and Scorpio, expect finding balance along with passion to be the theme when it comes to relationships over the next five months. This can be a time period for some couples to dive in deep, and truly become intimate, sharing their core selves. It is a partner-focused Venus theme, but there can also be indecisiveness or possessiveness. I wouldn’t be surprised if we see two sides of the same coin, lots of engagements as well as a plethora of break-ups in the news or in our social circles. Venus is teaching us how to be comfortable in both the surface level dynamic of a relationship while also embracing the darker, deeper corners of vulnerability.

Lastly, I want to mention that Mars will be in the sign of Cancer, its debility, this month. When Mars is in its fall, the action-oriented planet struggles to be direct. However, the good news is that Mars will only be in the sign of Cancer for under two months, unlike the last time when Mars in Cancer ingressed into Leo and then retrograded back to the sign of Cancer. That time period felt like it was never ending, starting on September 4th 2024 and finally leaving Cancer on April 17th, 2025.

Mars in Cancer tends to feel stifling. Mars is action-oriented, it wants to move fast, initiate, take risks and drive with passion and vigor. Cancer is homebody energy. It is concerned with security, it wants to be nurtured. At its best, Mars in Cancer is the Mama Bear, protective of its young, taking action to help others. At its worst, it can be passive-aggressive, fear-mongering and smothering. I will say, this is good energy for going back to school, and easing into a new, unfamiliar environment.

The good news is, that when Mars retrogrades in the sign of Virgo on January 10th next year, it will eventually go back into the sign of Leo before going direct and ingressing into Virgo again. These two signs are not in either detriment or dignity with Mars, so it won’t quite be like 2024-2025, where we felt like we were walking through mud.

Week of August 1st through the 8th:

You may not have motivation on Saturday the 1st to get work done, with the Pisces Moon trine to Mercury in Cancer. Instead, you may reach out to a family member, and catch up over a long conversation. With Venus square Mars, you may revisit relationship themes, talk about your romantic interest or even state something like, “we need more love in this world.”

On the 3rd, Chiron retrogrades in the sign of Taurus. Chiron will stay in the sign of Taurus throughout the month and won’t retrograde back into the sign of Aries until September 17th. Chiron’s expression is subtle, but what brings comfort is its sextile with the North Node in Aquarius, implying that if we can heal humanity, together we can heal the Earth.

You may notice over the next six weeks discussions of past successes, like banning Chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs) and hydrochlorofluorocarbons (HCFCs) in 1989, to repair the Ozone layer or discourse over laws and guidelines that work come to the foray. I am not saying that action will be taken now, but with screwworms and cyclospora in the news, there could be a demand to reinstate guardrails by the public.

I recommend to not get discouraged with the lack of action, because Chiron will reenter the sign of Taurus on April 17th, 2027, and when it is in opposition to Mars, and squared to Pluto in September 2027, matters of agricultural health will be taken seriously, as the public in the United States demands action for the unusual policies that allowed contamination to happen. The current circumstances with food supply and quality will not be a quick or immediate fix, but over time, it will gain traction.

Venus enters its domicile sign of Libra on the 6th, while applying a grand trine to Pluto in Aquarius and Uranus in Gemini. Relationships most likely feel intense and exciting, and if you’ve met someone new, you may feel like this is the easiest encounter you’ve had. But, I need to give some fair warning here. There is a chance, due to the square with Mars, sextile to Mercury and opposition to Neptune, that you are hoodwinked by mind-boggling sex and engaging conversation.

This doesn’t mean that the relationship won’t last, but you may be high on the transits. Just don’t hire a U-Haul yet, wait until after the Venus retrograde cycle before jumping in to something that is hard to untangle later.

The entire month, we will have Jupiter direct in the sign of Leo and trine to Saturn in retrograde in the sign of Aries. Even with the eclipses, this is a good month to focus on long term goals and deal with the practical day to day tasks. When the planet of abundance flows with the planet of limits, we tend to be productive. Saturn reins in the desire to overdo while Jupiter subdues pessimism, thus sticking to schedules becomes easier with this trine.

Week of August 9th through the 15th:

We start the week with the Moon in its domicile sign of Cancer and it is square to both Saturn and Neptune. Depending on your own chart, emotional issues may surface, and a feeling of melancholy could settle in.

However, Mercury enters the sign of Leo, which is ruled by the Sun. So, even if a sad mood develops, you may be able to pull yourself out of it by the afternoon. My suggestion is to turn on some music, dance and sing in your living room. It is hard to stay stagnant and blah when you’re moving to your favorite song.

The good news is that since the Moon moves fast, by the 10th, the feeling of doubt will dissipate, just as you start your work week.

Mars enters Cancer on the 11th, emphasizing action surrounded by feelings, home and family. As mentioned above, this is not an easy placement for Mars. The key is to engage in an activity that feels nurturing, like soaking in a jacuzzi or taking initiative to fix all of the little things around you, such as spraying a lubricant on squeaky door hinges, or cutting the grass for an elderly neighbor.

Though not an astrological event, the Perseid meteor shower, caused by debris left in the path of the Swift-Tuttle comet, can be best viewed during the New Moon, due to the absence of the Moon’s reflection. It is best to watch the shower in the late night and pre-dawn hours of August 12th and 13th.

And now we are at the first major point of the month, the Leo New Moon which is considered a Solar Eclipse. The eclipse is making a separating trine to Saturn in retrograde, as if to hint at something to do with an old authority.

Besides that, there is a minor grand trine happening between Mercury in Leo, Uranus in Gemini and Venus in Libra, all at 5 degrees. It would be surprising if we don’t hear some bold news around this time, especially with the eclipse. But with Mercury in opposition to Pluto in retrograde, it could be regurgitated information just to claim center stage. The big surprise could be whatever is revealed during this time period really isn’t a surprise.

Even though we tend to manifest or start new projects after a New Moon, eclipses do not lend well to that endeavor.

However, with Mercury and Jupiter perfecting a conjunction on the 15th, reading books on leadership, expanding your knowledge, or being open to different perspectives is a good way to use the eclipse energy. This is a time when you could gain foresight, especially when it comes to something you’ve been working on for a long time.

Week of August 16th through the 22nd:

On Monday the 17th, Mercury in Leo makes a trine to Saturn. This transit sets a practical tone to complete projects. With Saturn in retrograde, you may have to redo some of the things you are working on, not because of mistakes, but due to requirements that you may not have been privy to or changes as the project progressed. There also could be extra work that is handed off to you or you could be the one delegating work. If you are the latter, make sure to be mindful of the other person’s bandwidth.

As the week progresses, what you are working on may not seem as clear as Mercury starts to apply a conjunction to the Sun. Whatever you are tackling this week may seem larger or more important than it actually is.

This week in some ways feels routine but pressurized, as it sits between the two eclipses. There could be unsubstantiated leaks of information, and it may feel like you are on the edge of something big. But there are some people, depending on your chart, where this week may seem uneventful, even as the world events are buzzing in our ears.

With Mars square to Neptune for the past week, you may feel a sense of inadequacy or recognize that leaders who you thought were strong, daring and bold have no clue what they are doing. It’s a strange week, where we are not quite in a fog, but at the same time, we aren’t sure what will happen next.

As the Sun opposes the North Node on the 22nd and is conjunct to the South Node, we could feel like upcoming events may be fated. This doesn’t mean that something terrible is going to happen to you, since each chart has their own unique signature. But the atmosphere feels daunting and the events leading up to this day feel unsettled as if you are being blocked by outside forces since Mars is applying a square to Saturn. There is a volatility to this weekend, especially with those in authority. It could be as simple as a brash lashing out verbally, or something more extreme, due to the presence of Regulus with the South Node and the Sun.

My take on this week is to work diligently, pay attention to details and relieve stress in a positive and fruitful manner. Yes, it may feel like you are waiting for the shoe to drop, which is common around eclipse season.

But the good news is, later on the 22nd, the Sun leaves its domicile in Leo and enters the analytical sign of Virgo. (I have a soft side for Virgos, especially since my son is one.) Week of August 23rd through the 31st:

This week is about the mind, data and facts, while figuring out how you can be of service to yourself and others. If you are a data analyst, this is your week, since Mercury enters the sign of Virgo on the 25th. If you have a project that requires coding, analytics, or organizing, this is the week to do it. Even if you are not someone who does this type of work, make the most of this energy by cleaning out your pantry, sorting through your junk drawer or anything else that can bring order to chaos.

On the 27th, we have the Mercury cazimi. With Mercury in a superior conjunction to the Sun, our minds become clear and we can absorb lots of information. We may be mad dashing off text messages or have long detailed conversations, nit-picking over facts and dissecting or categorizing data. If you are someone who loathes spreadsheets, this could be a good day for you to get comfortable with their usage, since Mercury is in its domicile sign of Virgo.

The 27th is also the day of the Pisces Full Moon and Lunar Eclipse. It may feel like show time, as the Moon is fully illuminated in the night’s sky.

Eclipses amplify the Full Moon energy. It is about polarity, whereas the Virgo Sun can express itself with data and facts but the Pisces Moon is intuitive and subjective. It is truly about both sides, how we can serve ourselves and how we can serve the collective.

This eclipse, since it is at 4 degrees, energizes last month’s Barbault basket, by making a T-square to Uranus. This can be a disruptive Full Moon with accidents, sudden displacements, and technology failures. Surprise events could occur during this eclipse, especially around those in a position of authority. If information is leaked, I recommend not jumping to conclusions or a hasty summary, since there is a chance that what is shown is not the whole picture.

And this relates to your own personal relationships. The energy is electric during the eclipse, and is not a time to make a rash decision, since some facts and information are layered.

However, around the eclipse, there could be more fervor in regards to data centers, flock cameras and the use of other technologies and how it impacts society and the environment, especially with Chiron in retrograde in the sign of Taurus. Part of the push back on authority will have to do with AI and data collection.

On the 31st, Mars will square Saturn and will sextile Mercury, all three at 13 degrees. With both Mars and Saturn in their fall, and Saturn in retrograde, you may struggle to get any work completed. This is energy that feels blocked, and your boss or your childhood programming could be a barrier towards achievement.

The good news here is Mercury. Due to its sextile with Mars, this is a mind over matter situation, where you can talk yourself up and gain confidence to deal with the obstacles that are in your way. Prioritizing tasks can help you avoid feeling overwhelmed.

It’s this week where the basket feels personal, as opposed to something out there, existing in current events and the state of the world. However, what is occurring beyond the personal is illuminated with the Aquarius Full Moon.

Full Moons are about polarities and tension. The push-pull dynamic is a buildup of energy that tends to release towards action, or at the least, a feeling of action. For instance, there is a myth that more babies are born on a Full Moon, which scientific studies have disproven. However, as someone who gave birth during a Full Moon, there was a feeling of chaos and excessiveness, regardless of the practical data. The energy is high, and subjective experiences can push against objectivity.

With the Jupiter-Pluto opposition conjunct to the Full Moon, expect impulses and unconscious activity to come to light. The regular tension we experience on the Full Moon is expanded, transformative and powerful.

In regards to the Sun, its conjunction to Jupiter shines on one side of the dynamic, an urge for expanding the mind, a feeling of benevolence and optimism. This positive outlook can have some of us going to extremes, acting in excess or being so confident, that we become domineering or arrogant.

With the Sun in opposition to Pluto, we may have a desire to stand up for ourselves, to take charge of our life, and go against authority. The energy is intense but creative, and you could find solutions to issues because your confidence is higher.

Where the Sun is our outward energy, the Moon is aligned emotionally. The Moon’s opposition to Jupiter gives us the drive to take responsibility for our own personal freedom. There is the tension of helping others while also contemplating what is owed to ourselves.

In addition, this Full Moon ignites intense emotional experiences due to the Moon’s conjunction to Pluto. You could over analyze any situation and lose some perspective, especially if you become obsessed with an idea or a point of view. The confidence of this Full Moon could lead some to playing power games of manipulation, or ignite feelings of possessiveness and jealousy.

Essentially, this Full Moon is supercharged, bringing out the intensity of the Sun and Moon. My advice on a personal level, be aware that everyone is feeling emotionally charged on this day. This is a reactionary day, where it’s easy to over react to imposed boundaries. But at the same time, that over reaction may be what you need. For instance, if you have been thinking of quitting your job for a long time, and then your boss does something that is the last straw, the energy of this day is supportive of quitting. Let’s just say, with this Full Moon, there could be that light bulb going off where you are no longer willing to participate in a situation and you go to the crux of resolution. There is a desire to make something permanent, even if we don’t have a thorough plan.

But as with anything, it will depend on your own chart. Those with placements in the early degrees of the fixed signs of Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius will be the most impacted by the Full Moon energy.

In case you are wondering, yes, this Full Moon will impact Trump, as it applies its energy to his natal Pluto in Leo. His actions around this time may seem par for the course, but if he makes bold power moves or does something out of an obsession leading up to the Full Moon, it wouldn’t be surprising.

Unfortunately, this Full Moon is in a very tight conjunction to the US’s Leo North Node in the Sibly chart, which means Trump could make a kingly or autocratic move in regards to foreign or legal affairs, especially in regards to shared resources, such as funding any actions that he takes. (As I am writing this on the morning of the 24th, Trump has imposed new high tariffs on dozens of countries per AP News. The Sun is applying aspects to Jupiter and Pluto, but the Moon is not. There could be an emotional reaction on Monday and Tuesday due to these new tariffs.)

The Sun and Moon are making aspects to the other placements in the basket, which is unpredictable Uranus in Gemini and hazy Neptune in Aries.

With the Sun in sextile to Uranus, we may be more open to new experiences and the world around us. This is an imaginative and creative aspect, allowing for surprising or unusual ideas. However, this aspect does not like any restrictions, so if you are having discussions, this is not a time to lay out ultimatums or dictate a force of will.

Neptune’s trine to the Sun is sacrificial and with Neptune in Aries and the Sun in Leo, one could be hoodwinked into dying on the sword for someone else. There is a naivety with Neptune in Aries, where a person may push to show their independence while actually being led by someone else.

Uranus and Neptune aspects to the Sun add a flow of too many thoughts and an abundance of information while having blinders on while moving forward. This is why it is best to reflect and evaluate situations around the Full Moon before charging forward.

The Moon exacerbates this chaotic energy, since its trine with Uranus wants emotional excitement. Impulsive actions take center stage, like quitting a job on the spot or joining a coalition for social change or being an advocate for new policies at your place of employment.

But it could be hard to not jump into something immediate, because intuition is heightened with the Moon’s sextile to Neptune. There could be a nudge from within, saying now is the time to take action, based on your feelings of what is right or spiritually aligned.

Jupiter is also part of all of these aspects, and is sextile to Uranus, trine to Neptune and of course, opposite to Pluto. With Uranus, the energy is restless but some people may experience out of the blue luck. With Neptune, idealism is exaggerated but also, there is a humanitarian spirit to the day. With Pluto, there is a tendency to take actions to their limits, either striving for success that benefits yourself and others, or being ruthless and fanatical in thought.

But there is more to the energy of the day, when we look at the personal planets. Mercury in Cancer is sextile to Venus in Virgo, so the expression of pleasurable feelings and the desire to interact harmoniously is supported. The Moon is the dispositor of Mercury and Mercury is the dispositor of Venus. Intellect, data and intuition play a role in how decisions are made.

Mercury is also square to Saturn in Aries, which helps this Full Moon from being explosive, but there can be a selfish, protective nature in regards to the overall atmosphere. This aspect is about having discipline to think through problems diligently, but it can also be highly critical and pessimistic. However, Jupiter having a huge role, the Saturn aspect can create some balance, and rein in the desire to be rash.

Venus in Virgo with Mars in Gemini, with Mercury as the dispositor, could showcase the dynamics in our relationships. However, there is a tug-of-war between our egos and self-assertion. It’s as if we are gathering lots of information and attempting to analyze objectively, to find a logical resolution but in the process, we may not realize how our emotions or biases come into the equation. The key here is not to “win” any disagreements, but instead to use the information and your emotions to find common ground.

Full Moons are the mid-point of the lunar cycle. The natural tension of a Full Moon gives us an opportunity to either stay the course with more conviction or change direction, shifting and fine-tuning our objectives. With the Barbault Basket preceding the Full Moon, and the eclipses that are coming up in August, the Aquarius Full Moon is a major and powerful pivot point. The archetype of Aquarius beckons us to question, “Am I on the right path of independence and autonomy while also being an integral part of humanity or am I subjected to the rule of others?” Essentially, this Full Moon brings a critical question into focus: are you on your chosen path, and if not, what are you going to do about it?

Before we go deep into the New Moon, let’s discuss the fixed stars. Whenever an important event has fixed stars associated with it, we gain an additional layer of understanding. These two fixed stars belong to the constellation of Gemini. This may seem confusing, since the Moon is in a different zodiac sign. However, due to the precession of the equinoxes, the fixed stars are sitting in the preceding constellation.

The tropical zodiac we use for horoscopes isn’t pinned to the constellations, it’s pinned to the seasons, to the Sun’s return each year to the same point at the spring equinox. The actual backdrop of stars behind that point drifts, incredibly slowly, at a rate of about 1° every seventy-two years. Castor and Pollux will always belong to the constellation Gemini when you look up at the night sky. But in the tropical zodiac we use to read a chart, they’ve drifted forward into the 30° stretch we call Cancer, and that is exactly where this New Moon lands, at 21°59’.

Fixed stars have a rich and complex history in astrology, due to each culture associating them with specific planets or types of events. But let’s look at the logistics first, since fixed stars, due to their distance and the mathematics to put them on a chart, are only read in tight conjunctions.

Castor sits at 20°36’ of Cancer, and Pollux at 23°35’. The New Moon, exact at 21°59’, is nearly centered between them, closer to Castor by a matter of minutes. Mercury retrograde, at 19°51’ Cancer, is close enough to Castor to be considered conjunct, with less than 1° separating them. The Sun and Moon have already passed Castor and are moving toward Pollux, still applying, not yet exact. Because the Sun and Moon move quickly, this conjunction during the New Moon is worth noting, even though its impact is more symbolic due to the short duration of this meaningful conjunction.

First, it’s worth looking at how these stars can influence current mundane events. With Castor and Pollux being part of the Gemini constellation, we are looking at two parts that make a whole. Castor, when conjunct the Sun, is associated with government undertakings in foreign affairs, including violent acts. With a conjunction to the Moon, there are those who would be on the receiving end of those acts, being wounded, disgraced or imprisoned. Pollux is the final ruin, the end results of the actions of Castor. Pollux is also associated with embezzlement and violent death when conjunct the Sun, and pride and self-destruction when conjunct the Moon.

On the world stage, it would be best for governments to disengage from any conflict, but that is easier said than done with this influence. Pollux is conjunct Trump’s natal Saturn, so during the New Moon, we may see his bad temper impact decisions that he makes during this time. If warfare escalates around the New Moon, it would not be surprising.

But on a personal level, these two stars burn bright when it comes to expression through honorable writing, that could be riddled with cynicism or have a sarcastic tone. We also could see something to do with the legal system, especially if it impacts the public or sports. Please know that debates could go awry during the New Moon, so be aware not to escalate anything needlessly, since there is an undercurrent of violence beneath a Moon that would normally be nurturing in nature. This sums up the duality: the aggressor, and the people who receive the wrath, met with banter and wit on one side, and care and the licking of wounds on the other.

The story of this New Moon is that it is a pressure cooker. What you make of it will be up to your own fortitude. Look beyond the current moment and examine where you have been and where you are going. The same energy that causes conflict can be channeled into positive action.

As the noise happens around the world, much has to do with Jupiter in opposition to Pluto. Not only is Jupiter applying an opposition to the planet of power, it is also co-present with many leaders’ natal Pluto in Leo. Though this energy emboldens them to do some ruthless acts, anything they do that is focused on their zealous beliefs or driven by a lust for power, most likely will eventually backfire. I think that is important to keep in mind, as the world goes through a multitude of energetic shifts.

Personally, if you use this energy to expand your knowledge and take in various perspectives, you can use the energy much better than being fixated on one chosen path.

Jupiter is also trine to Neptune, while Neptune is sextile to Pluto. It is quite easy to go in another direction, instead of staying focused and pursuing your ambitions, you can dip into a dreamy state due to Jupiter expanding Neptune’s idealism. With all of the fire and air energy, the only two placements in the grounding and practical earth element are Venus in Virgo and Chiron, which recently moved into the sign of Taurus.

Venus is in its detriment in Virgo. Venus wants harmony. Virgo is analytical and service oriented, whereas Venus desires to indulge in the tangible. This is a time to convince yourself that some pleasures are worthwhile.

Venus is applying a square to Mars in Gemini, and is separating from a square to Uranus. Recently, you may have found yourself attracted to someone outside of your usual preference. Conversations create sparks with this configuration, especially if you are both open to other points of view.

Since I mentioned Chiron, the past can come out in a big way, especially if you haven’t dealt with the consequences of your actions. Chiron is square to Jupiter and Pluto, so it is as if we are reliving a time period of the past, where fighting over land and resources took place. This is not a time to sweep issues under the rug, or to have a tug-of-war based on egotistical beliefs. Instead, it is a time for healing, whether it is healing the socio-economic dynamics of the world, or your own beliefs in regard to boundaries and resources.

With Chiron’s trine to Venus, taking an analytical approach to actions is helpful. Stocking your pantry with non-perishables or learning how to sprout microgreens is beneficial. But I challenge everyone to take this a step further.

Use the energy of the New Moon to reconnect with others and build your own makeshift families. We’ve lost many of our third spaces, but we can reclaim them. The forming basket configuration that perfects on July 19th and 20th, with Neptune and Pluto in retrograde and Jupiter and Uranus direct, is a reminder of this same pull between old and new. Building something based on our ideals, figuring out new power dynamics while embracing future thought and optimism can go a long way.

Before the pandemic, I would make friends and meet people easily, by going to art events, hanging out at coffee shops or interacting with people from my yoga class. Before that, in my much younger days, I would meet people at sports bars or neighborhood bars, while poorly playing pool or darts, usually drinking a club soda with lime. Or, at a dance club or some other gathering. But these are not the only third spaces, and we can create our own, such as community gardens, co-ops and other functioning establishments. But we need to connect and be around others, and not always behind a screen.

It’s also important to remember, regardless of the fixed stars, that this Moon is in the sign of Cancer and so is Mercury. This is the energy of self-care and caring for others. It is about family, and being part of something larger, that is based in love and shared experiences. Families function when we are responsible for our role, and the duties that we assign ourselves.

Which takes us to Saturn in Aries, also in detriment. Saturn is the old, wise entity that has learned that boundaries and restrictions can keep us safe. Aries energy is risk-taking and initiative, independent and action-forward. Though Saturn would rather be in a different sign, Aries energy loosens up Saturn to adjust to current circumstances. It is like teaching an old dog new tricks, or an old dog learning to make new friends.

With Saturn square to Mercury in Cancer, we could fall back into pessimism, but the Aries energy is unsettled with that point of view. Mars is the dispositor of Saturn, and it wants to take action, to do something. Again, this is why sitting behind a screen for hours upon hours leaves us feeling trapped or weighed down, instead of liberated.

Mercury is the dispositor of Mars in Gemini. There is a desire to talk and listen, to share ideas and to communicate. Forums, social media and other screens seem like the common sense thing to do. But keep in mind, Mercury is in Cancer, it needs that physical connection, like that nurturing hug from a loving parent.

One could say it is counter-intuitive to have fun, converse over drinks or coffee, go to parties and play a game of darts at your local tavern while the world is a mess. But, what if everyone was too busy being friends and making local connections? How would the world be then? The core of this New Moon is to live like your parents did when they were young, and go to the club, concert, beach or whatever recreation resonates with you.

We don’t change the world through stupid wargames, division or checking out. We change the world by changing ourselves, going through the phases like the Moon, and revisiting the phases that brought joy and connection.

Ditch the endless streaming of world events, the internet debates and self-isolation. Instead, embrace life by being part of the world. This New Moon allows you to take lessons of the past and interweave them into your own fresh start. With Jupiter in opposition to Pluto, empower yourself to find those who want to enjoy life and be part of something productive. It begins by opening your front door, walking outside and putting on a smile.

It is not so much that things speed up (they do!) but there is a feeling like you are playing San Francisco Rush 2049 this month. If you are not familiar with this arcade game, let me fill you in. Released in 1999, it was a multi-player driving game where your car would race through the streets of San Francisco. But it wasn’t a straight course or one where you would follow the rules. Instead, to win, you would have to know where to crash your car and the secret roads to take, which would require driving on roof tops. It was a wild game that didn’t make much sense. This month may feel similar, as the planets change sign or go into retrograde.

To help you track the key shifts this month, you can check out the following dates and put them into your calendar.

• Neptune retrogrades at 4°25’ in Aries on July 7, 2026 at 5:54 am CDT

• Venus enters Virgo on July 9, 2026 at 12:22 pm CDT

• New Moon in Cancer at 21°59’ on July 14, 2026 at 4:43 am CDT

• Sun enters Leo on July 22, 2026 at 2:13 pm CDT

• Mercury stations direct in Cancer on July 23, 2026 at 5:57 pm CDT

• Saturn retrogrades at 14°44’ in Aries on July 26, 2026 at 2:56 pm CDT

• True North Node enters Aquarius on July 26, 2026 at 7:47 pm CDT (the Mean North Node, used by some astrologers, won’t enter Aquarius until August 18th)

• Full Moon in Aquarius at 6°30’ on July 29, 2026 at 9:35 am CDT

Besides the above dates, there are some important transits this month. The first is the Mars and Uranus conjunction in Gemini happening on July 3rd and 4th. The other is the Jupiter and Pluto opposition, which started building energy on June 30th. The opposition of Jupiter and Pluto are in aspect to Uranus and Neptune, making a basket configuration. I wrote about this back in January and how it would impact the United States. This basket formation perfects from the 19th through the 22nd.

In addition, in August we are going to have eclipses on the 12th and the 27th. The lunar eclipse on the 27th will coincide with a Mercury Cazimi. 2026 is a year of activity. And like the game Rush 2049, not everything will make sense right away. There could be events that initially you think of as minor, but they become more impactful as time progresses.

I am breaking up how the energy plays out by weeks (though the first and the last week have less than 7 days due to how the calendar month lands.)

July 1st through the 4th

We start the month off with two major transits, that build tension and release.

The first one is Jupiter, which is now in the sign of Leo and applying an opposition to Pluto in Aquarius. We will see this energy on the world stage. Pluto, the planet of deep change and power is in the sign of Aquarius, which is ruled by Saturn. Though the sign of Aquarius is associated with humanitarian ideals, Pluto in this sign takes work to make transformative change. It is slow and laborious, and needs patience.

Jupiter in Leo is bold, active and a bit dramatic. By nature, Jupiter is optimistic and expansive, it grows whatever it is in aspect. Leo, the sign associated with paternalistic and king-like energy, ruled by the Sun, is expanding the powers that be.

When these two planets are in opposition, there are great forces of literal opposition. Some may do ruthless acts in order to get their way, but those tactics tend to backfire. There is a temptation to manipulate others or to have naked aggression. Thus this is one of the two reasons why I think conflict could escalate this week.

However, at its core is big transformative change. The key here on a personal level is to work towards your goals by transforming what is required of you without engaging in power struggles or games.

The other transit this week is the Mars and Uranus conjunction in the sign of Gemini which perfects on July 3rd through the 4th. When Mars applies its energy to Uranus, rash behavior takes precedence. This is the other reason why I think conflicts could escalate this week.

Though this conjunction happens every 2 years, there tends to be a surprising or shocking incident associated with it. The last time this conjunction occurred, it was in the sign of Taurus, and it coincided with the assassination attempt on Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania. The sign changes the archetype through which the conjunction expresses itself, but the aspect itself carries a pattern worth noting. Before you worry if something is going to happen to you, please be aware that this conjunction was applying to his Midheaven which is conjunct to the fixed star Algol.

Due to the fixed stars in the charts of Israel and Iran, and the Lebanese chart, I expect escalation to happen this week. However, with Uranus, anything is possible. Though the tensions can expand, there is a possibility, though slim, for transformative peace negotiations. But unfortunately, it does look like the opposite will happen.

In regards to your life, Mars and Uranus can bring about sudden change. It can stir impulsiveness. My big warning here, which I made last month, is to be aware of your surroundings. If you are partaking in celebrations, slow down and take your time to prevent accidents.

With the Jupiter-Pluto opposition, which takes place all month, and the Uranus-Mars conjunction, which is at its strongest this week, you could have disruptions that lead to a breakthrough. For instance, you could have changes in a project outside of your control, but you wind up having an epiphany which changed the direction of the project, thus bringing success.

To manage this week, be open minded, roll with the changes, don’t take shortcuts or be ruthless, resist impulsivity but allow information to formulate in your mind, take deep breaths and work towards something beneficial.

And the good news for personal individual charts is that Mercury is in retrograde in the sign of Cancer. Your desire for safety and protection is being reexamined, along with matters of family and home. Some of you may decide to have a small function with those you love. When it comes to work, you could have a desire to nurture your team with communication that leans towards being a cohesive unit. Just be careful not to be passive-aggressive to gain agreements.

July 5th through the 11th

On Sunday the 5th, we have the Sun in Cancer and Saturn in Aries square to each other. If there are escalated tensions or conflicts during the week, some leaders will struggle with doing the right thing, and could feel backed into a corner. There could be a demand that they take responsibility or talk about the situation and what the next steps are. The struggle for them is living up to their responsibilities with what they would prefer to do.

And on a personal level, you could find yourself with the same dilemma. You may have to choose work or responsibilities over your own personal expression. For instance, you could desire to call into work, but due to projects or staffing, you need to show up and take initiative instead of spending time at home or with family.

Neptune retrogrades on July 7th in the sign of Aries and will stay in retrograde until December 12th, 2026. The draw to be with loved ones and reflecting on memories is strong due to Mercury in retrograde trine the Moon in Pisces. Neptune in retrograde can expose what was covered up, secrets that are hidden or motives that were false in nature. Since Neptune tends to add fog to a situation, clarity on world events could happen, but keep in mind, even in retrograde, Neptune still has an illusionary nature.

On a personal level, over the next six months, viewpoints that were tribal in nature may become more individualistic. For instance, let’s say you’ve cancelled particular stores or celebrities because you felt it was expected of you. You may change how you see the situation. This doesn’t mean you automatically embrace what was cancelled, but instead, you may find yourself questioning whether your position was truly your own or shaped by outside pressure.

On July 9th, Venus enters the sign of Virgo. Venus is in its fall when in the sign of Virgo. When Venus is in Virgo, it can be discriminating and analytical as opposed to finding balance and harmony. For instance, if you are out on a date, you may notice details that don’t matter in the grand scheme of things, such as their shirt isn’t perfectly pressed or a stray hair hanging on their face.

Venus will also be conjunct to the South Node. There can be hyper anxiety and worry over being precise. A martyr mentality can also intrude current events, where finger pointing and criticism is the only outlet due to the unpleasant situation.

The Nodes are chart points and don’t have the energy of a planet, however they can show what is uncomfortable or depleting. When it comes to world leaders, we want to see where the Venus-South Node conjunction is at in their chart. For Trump, it is in the 10th house, which could drain his energy to be diplomatic. Finger-pointing and blame can occur between countries. In response, there is a chance of the Israeli government blaming Trump for not having enough resources.

Also, the US administration will seem tired, drained and weary. A sense of malaise will creep in, communication will be scattered and some things could be said that evoke longing for the past.

July 12th through the 18th

On the 12th, we have a Mercury cazimi and inferior conjunction with the Sun. So what does this mean? Technically, when a planet is within one degree of the Sun, it is in a cazimi, which means its energy is supercharged.

An inferior conjunction only happens with the inner planets of Mercury or Venus. During the inferior conjunction, Mercury is in retrograde and lines up directly between the Sun and Earth. For Mercury, this can be a potent time of reflection and a breakthrough of thought. This is especially true when reflecting on the past, and with Mercury in Cancer, themes of roots, family, home, emotions, instincts and those who held a maternal role are emphasized.

Those with the Sun, Mercury, the Moon or chart angles around 20 degrees of Cancer may experience a melding of thought and feelings, thus gaining insight to how some of the people that they love could think differently than they do, because emotions led their decisions.

If you have ever been in a sales position, you know that people tend to buy on emotion rather than fact, especially on items that are not necessary. You are trained to talk about how the buyer would feel if they owned the item you are selling, such as having peace of mind for insurance plans they may not need or a sense of belonging, since what you are offering is on trend.

This Mercury cazimi will spotlight not only how you’ve been sold ideas and philosophies, but also how your parents, siblings, relatives and those that you care about have been influenced by the same tactics. I recommend not being smug about it, because almost everyone owns something or believes something that they are attached to because it was presented emotionally.

And with the New Moon in Cancer on the 14th, we can start fresh with a new perspective about what divides us. Mercury is in a separating conjunction to the New Moon, symbolizing the past moving away as a new foundation is laid. Now I get it, it may feel impossible to rebuild bridges with some family members, especially if you never saw eye to eye. Sometimes though, forgiveness is a way to nurture yourself, especially if you are holding onto guilt, isolation or avoidance.

Starting on the 16th, Mars in Gemini separates from its conjunction with Uranus and applies a sextile to Saturn in Aries. When Saturn is in the sign of Aries, it is in its fall. Saturn, the planet of discipline and limits, is uncomfortable with Aries’ quick actions. Mars is the dispositor of Saturn, giving Mars a boost of seriousness.

We go from being on edge and excitable, to settling down and getting things done. Meticulous projects are easier to handle, though they may not move through the stages as quickly as you would like. It’s a great time to focus on the details, but know that meetings and projects can feel like a concentrated struggle, oscillating between bursts of energy and communication to wanting to be left alone to concentrate.

July 19th through the 25th

The Mars and Saturn sextile perfects on the 19th. Venus in its fall is applying a square to Mars. The energy of these two transits can cause nit-picky behavior.

But there is a positive side if you are open to it. When Venus and Mars are square to each other, physicality in a relationship has importance. Since it is a Sunday, you could opt for staying in bed, and doing the things you enjoy with a partner.

Also on the 19th, the Barbault basket formation begins to perfect. I went into detail on how this energy could play out in regards to the United States back in January. You may want to revisit that piece.

In regards to most people, unless you have fire or air placements around 4 degrees, the energy may feel like any of the prior days this month. Keep in mind, three of the planets have been making aspects of each other for a while.

Jupiter is what lights up the basket configuration. Jupiter in Leo is in opposition to Pluto in Aquarius, trine to Neptune in Aries and sextile to Uranus in Gemini. During the evening of the 19th, you may want to meditate or engage in a spiritual practice. Knowing that we are going through a time of change, you could imagine what it is that you want to see in the future.

Neptune and Pluto have been in sextile with each other since 1946, though there have been times where the orb of influence is slightly out of range. Neptune is idealism, hopes and dreams and Pluto is power, change and transformation. The irony is that everyone has different ideals and want different situations and structures to change. This sextile has these two planets supporting each other. Over the decades, it feels like we take steps forward and backwards.

In 2037, Neptune will begin to break away from this sextile and by 2038, we no longer will have these two planets working together. We can think of this basket formation as the final push for great change before the world gets into a groove for a while.

On July 22nd, the Sun enters its domicile sign of Leo. Happy birthday to all of the Leos out there.

The Sun will apply a conjunction with Jupiter, which perfects on the 29th. There is a positive spirit whenever the Sun and Jupiter are conjunct. Optimism abounds, and there is a sense of gratitude. However, the Sun will be square to Chiron in Taurus.

We may see a loss of a leader around this time, or some healing to masculine energy. There could be an archetype that gets center stage, someone who promises to heal the current circumstances.

The Sun becomes part of the basket formation, so something around this time could happen where we see a lighted path forward.

On the next day, Mercury stations direct, at 16 degrees and 18 minutes. Saturn applies a square to Mercury and Venus applies a sextile. We may see a shift in communication towards relationship building, talking about what we have in common. With Saturn, there’s a serious, disciplined tone to what is communicated.

July 26th through the 31st

Saturn goes retrograde on July 26th in the sign of Aries. Saturn and Neptune have been co-present since February 13th. As Saturn retrogrades, the two planets will reform a conjunction on September 1st. The good news is that the orb is wide, but they will be conjunct, creating that heavy energy and the possibility of the spread of illnesses, which does align with the start of the school year.

In regards to personal astrology, Saturn in retrograde allows us to reexamine our responsibilities. For instance, if you had an extension on your taxes, Saturn retrograde is a good time to get them done. It is also a time period to go back to long term projects that you’ve put to the side, such as developing course work, cleaning out a garage or picking back up that novel you started writing.

The True North Node enters Aquarius on July 26th, which gives us direction to what may feel uncomfortable, such as developing friendships or championing unconventional ideas or humanitarian causes. With the South Node in Leo, it could feel more comfortable to have leadership that tells you what to do than one that challenges you to be part of the solution.

We end the month with a Full Moon in Aquarius on the 29th. This illumination will be part of the basket formation with the Sun conjunct to Jupiter and the Moon conjunct to Pluto. It is as if a torch is being lit, guiding us to the eventual finish line of change.

Expect endings and beginnings when it comes to authority and individualism, rulers and the common people. In mundane astrology, the Moon is the populace and it is conjunct to Pluto. Whether this is symbolic of people needing to change or that power is on their side, is hard to say. Most likely it is both. Hopefully, due to the basket formation, people will say enough is enough, and instead of waiting for a specific person to come save the day, they will realize it takes all of us to make great change that benefits all.

The real test will happen in August, when we have two powerful eclipses. We usually lose a leader during eclipse season, either they step down, retire, pass the baton, pass away or are eliminated through an attack. Unfortunately, we saw the latter in the last eclipse season. Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, was killed on February 28, 2026.

Historically, there are both personal casualties and political upheaval before change happens. With the basket configuration, the takeaway is that there will be change and what occurs could be much different than anyone imagined. This doesn’t mean the future is dystopian or utopian. I personally don’t think it will be either. Instead, with advances in technology and a humanitarian-led effort, we are entering a portal, where we can create a future based on a shift in power, one that moves the energy from leaders to the collective.

In twelve years, will we be ruled by technocrats or will there be a new society, something futuristic and focused on individualism and acceptance of all?

The Capricorn Full Moon has a different vibe. Occurring on June 29, 2026 at 6:56 PM CDT, with the Moon, at 8 degrees and 14 minutes, it illuminates two distinct things: the falsehoods we believe and our opportunity to take responsibility and get things done.

I’ve mentioned many times in the past that Neptune in Pisces did a number on us. Even though the energy was about being part of the collective, we joined tribes blindly. We told ourselves numerous falsehoods, believing in perspectives that may not have been our own. We saw other groups as being lost or as the enemy and our group as the wise and in the know.

But now that Neptune has been in Aries for a few months, our naivety is exposed. We’ve purposely cut out family members and dumped life-long friends. We come to this moment divided, but we are starting to see things a little more clearly. With structures being insecure, we may realize that pointing fingers to our neighbors is what got us to where we are. In our microcosms, we’ve forgotten the ability to see from multiple perspectives, and that the leaders we followed may have been aligned with “the other side” all along. The division was purposeful and benefitted those with clout or power.

Instead of each other being the culprit, it may have had something to do with the structures we upheld. The Saturn-ruled Capricorn Moon is making a square to both Neptune and Saturn in Aries, which allows us to examine the shift these two planets have been through. Up until earlier this year, Neptune and Saturn were in Pisces. Our distorted views and challenged relationships from that time are now front and center. With the Sun square to Neptune, we may feel discouraged by our once loved ideals. We could feel somewhat restricted during the Full Moon, as if we are blocked and our confidence is shattered.

But, we are not inadequate and we can stand up and take charge. And over the next few months, due to the retrogrades, we have an opportunity to gain clarity. First, with the current Mercury Retrograde in Cancer, giving us time to reflect on the discord within families. Then, Neptune goes into retrograde on July 7th, exposing the misconceptions of our current circumstances. A few weeks later, Saturn retrogrades on July 26th, where we take a hard look at what got us here and what role we each played. Spoiler alert, we are all responsible, and this includes myself.

Capricorn is a serious sign, and with the Moon here, we may be holding our emotions close to the vest. However, as with all Full Moon, the Sun in opposition in the sign of Cancer adds the welcomed tension, where we can take care of others and ourselves. The Full Moon is a reminder to roll up your sleeves and focus on what matters: your goals, your family’s well-being and your commitments and responsibilities.

However, there are other transits happening. With Mercury in the sign of Cancer and in retrograde just hours before the Full Moon, we are being introspective about the past, especially our role in the world. There is a chance to have tolerance for other people’s viewpoints with Mercury’s conjunction to Jupiter. There is a balance that can be explored between home and family and how world events impact us and our path forward.

With Venus in Leo making a separating trine to Saturn in Aries, collectively, we may side on compromise and stability over winning any conflict. Cost and spending tends to outweigh desire or aggression.

Mars entered the sign of Gemini the day before the Full Moon and is applying a conjunction to Uranus. This conjunction perfects on the evening of the 3rd or morning of the 4th, depending on your time zone. This is energy that wants to break free, especially when it comes to communication and thought. For instance, you could realize that people were cancelled in the past that may have had some good ideas. This is energy that is rash and surprising, so you could even be the person who says or does something that evokes a critical response from those around you.

I do need to mention that from a Mundane perspective, there could be some conflict over the next several days, such as surprise attacks or escalation in warfare. There could be accidents, like a large pileup of cars or some sort of disturbance during a public event, such as the World Cup or a 4th of July celebration. I am not saying don’t attend anything, since we are here to live and experience life. Just be aware and pay attention, and if the mood shifts to something disruptive, take it as a sign to leave the situation.

Mars was applying a conjunction to Uranus with the assassination attempt on July 13th, 2024 on Trump. There were some other factors here, such as the conjunction of these two planets to Trump’s MC and the presence of the fixed star Algol. There isn’t a major fixed star with this conjunction, which helps the situation. Mars conjuncts to Uranus approximately every 2 years, so please don’t stress about this transit. I am just being prudent to alert you that the energy is heightened.

On a personal level, a Mars and Uranus conjunction can give us energy, confidence and optimism to fuel our success. Keep your eyes open for opportunities since this aspect is good for business ventures. Also, with Mars trine Pluto, the energy can help you with long range goals.

Mars is also sextile to Neptune, giving us a layer of sensitivity and the ability to perceive what others need. If you are feeling frazzled with the energy of the Full Moon, meditation could probably do you well with this supportive transit.

Jupiter is at 29 degrees in Cancer, its exalted state. Though we tend to think of Jupiter as lucky when in sextile to Mars, luck is based on perception. For some, change is welcomed while others may cling to fear instead of taking a risk. What I mean by this, whatever occurs with the Mars and Uranus conjunction is amplified. Could we have a surprising peace deal in the Middle East? Maybe. But we could also have some backlash, especially if one party or country perceives the action as being boxed in and without a choice. Jupiter adds to the wildcard energy of Mars and Uranus, so even though I gave a warning, keep in mind, the name of the game is the unexpected.

Jupiter at its core is belief. As with the Full Moon, home, family and security themes are expanded. Jupiter is applying a trine to Neptune which is emphasizing humanitarian ideals and spiritual beliefs. With Jupiter applying an opposition to Pluto, there is a drive for achievement and possibility of being fanatic. Thus, adding to the uncertainty of the times.

The day after the Full Moon, Jupiter will ingress into the sign of Leo, and over the next 20 days, a basket formation involving Jupiter, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto will perfect. This is known as the Barbault Basket, a formation that has been attributed to Andre Barbault and sometimes conflated with his discussion of cycles. The one thing I can say is that the Capricorn Full Moon is an important precursor to July.

With the Full Moon at the end of the month, and its aspects to Neptune and Saturn, it is as if we are posed with the question, “Do you want the change you desire?” and if so, “Are you willing to go through the cycles bravely and put in the work to get what you want?” In my astrological opinion, that is the takeaway of what this Full Moon illuminates: reflection and responsibility. It is not going to be a sudden change, even if sudden actions occur over the next few months. But instead, a process of determination based on our ideals.

So let’s delve into the energy on a more personalized level and examine the horoscopes.

When Carlson was on Fox News, he had the most-watched show across all cable news outlets, before he was fired in April 2023. Fox News aired false claims about Dominion’s voting machines being involved in 2020 election fraud, and Carlson was among the hosts amplifying those claims on air. When his private text messages surfaced showing he personally doubted those claims, Fox News agreed to a $787.5 million settlement in the resulting defamation lawsuit.

Tucker Carlson has been a controversial figure. Some label him as a charlatan, while others may think he is savvy. Due to his recent turn against the Trump administration and declaring that he is no longer part of the Republican Party on June 22nd, 2026, I thought it would be worthwhile to do a dive into his personal astrology.

The good news is that we do have a birth time for Carlson with a Rodden Rating of AA. Tucker Carlson was born on May 16, 1969 at 10:07 AM in San Francisco, California in the United States.

As with other figures, I like to do a reading of their natal chart, to show a high-level overview of who they are at their core.

Sun Conjunct Moon in Taurus

Tucker Carlson was born on a Taurus New Moon. With the Sun conjunct the Moon, his life is one of personal transformation. Since the Moon is 4 degrees separating from the Sun, he has embarked on new cycles within his career, persona and relationships. There is a desire to integrate his emotions with what he projects, which does help him to build an audience.

His Sun and Moon are in the 11th house of media, groups and networks. Both his Sun and Moon are in the Venus ruled sign of Taurus, so traditional themes of personal values is what he will project in his career, due to Venus residing in his 10th house.

Carlson’s Moon is also out of bounds, allowing him to take risks with his own inner world, exploring emotions to their extreme. His Moon is conjunct to Alcyone, a fixed star that can give vision and insight. However, this star can also lead to being narrow-minded or having rash judgments on others.

In addition to the Moon, Carlson’s Sun is in conjunction with Algol, a powerful fixed star filled with passion, which can turn into anger or rage. This is a star that often brings success, but the key in keeping success is not to act with vengeance.

However, what he says to an audience may not always be on the up and up. He is sensitive to the needs of others, but he may not say the whole truth, especially if it is demoralizing. He also could surrender his authority to someone else, thus supporting a particular candidate or news organization, if he feels their needs are more important than his own. We saw this with his stance on the election fraud claim that Trump and Fox News was reporting.

Owning his own news organization is therefore a better fit for him, where he is accountable to no one but himself and his audience.

Sun In Taurus Trine Jupiter and Pluto in Virgo and Uranus in Libra

With the Sun in Trine to Jupiter in its detrimental sign of Virgo, Carlson tends to have a positive outlook, when data and scrutiny are attached to what he is doing. Through his life, he may have “lucky” experiences, and could be at the right place at the right time. He tends to be enthusiastic, and most likely appreciates new experiences. Though with his Jupiter, he could overanalyze situations, blending belief with data in ways that can serve his narrative.

With the trine to Pluto, he tackles life with intensity. He will have powerful experiences that teach him about who he is in relation to the world at large. A natural investigator, he is in the right field, since the Sun is in the 11th house and Pluto is in the third house of communication and broadcasting. He can express himself with impact, thus creating a steady following. He most likely completes many of the projects that he sets out to do.

With the Uranus trine, the activities he dives into lead him to his own self-discovery. Again, being self employed is good for him, since he is not one for routine. Also, with Uranus in the sign of Libra, he probably enjoys when the status quo is shaken up.

Sun in Taurus Sextile Ascendant in Cancer

His Cancer Ascendant is at 24 degrees and is conjunct to the Fixed Star of Procyon. He knows how to intuitively read the emotions of others. Procyon can lead to a quick rise on whatever is embarked upon, however, the status tends not to last, such as his career at Fox News. When Procyon is on the ascendant, there is a likelihood of misrepresenting the truth. This tendency finds an echo in his Sun opposition Neptune, suggesting a pattern rather than an isolated incident.

However, due to the ascendant sextile with the Sun, he gains recognition from friends and people he associates with on a daily basis. This is an aspect of leadership, especially within a like-minded group. He tends to be social and probably enjoys being with friends.

Moon In Taurus Trine Jupiter in Virgo

Though the Moon is in the fixed sign of Taurus, Carlson can change his feelings about people and events, especially if he is no longer comfortable with the narrative.

With the Trine to Jupiter, he comes off as being warm and friendly. This is an aspect that is known for being concerned with other people’s well-being and also large-scale social reform. Keep in mind though, the reform and status of others would be based on his beliefs, and what he deems as being practical and of service.

Moon In Taurus Trine Uranus in Libra

This is a unique aspect in his chart because his Moon is at 29 degrees while Uranus is at 0 degrees, thus the Trine is out of sign. It is as if he is reconciling his traditional way of internalizing the world around him with an interest in people who are different or unconventional. Though he craves emotional excitement, there is a part of him that also wants equilibrium.

He feels most alive when he takes impulsive actions, such as espousing the inner workings of his mind. He genuinely will advocate for new policies and social change, which will go against the current structure.

His recent statement of no longer being part of the Republican party may seem like a sudden move, but with this aspect, it probably is a deep-rooted change that he feels is constructive for his life, be it where he is now, or where he hopes to be in the future.

Moon In Taurus Opposition Neptune in Scorpio

When the Moon is in opposition to Neptune, there is a tendency to absorb the feelings of others and be programmed by childhood experiences. Since his feelings are not entirely his own, he may deal with inferiority, guilt and shame. It does not surprise me with this aspect that he has publicly stated he regrets his support for Trump.

Mercury in Gemini Sextile Venus in Aries

Carlson’s Mercury is in the 12th house, which may surprise some, but it is in sextile to his Venus (and Midheaven) in the 10th house. He most likely gathers information from sources that are hidden, whether that is his own subconscious or tips from insiders. He recently said on one of his podcasts that he had often spoken one on one with Trump, and the last conversation was the day before the attack on Iran.

This aspect does give Carlson the ability to express his feelings, especially when it comes to subjects that he values. He could enjoy art, concerts and leisurely activities with this placement.

During a February 2026 visit to the Baptism Site of Jesus on the Jordan River, Carlson spoke directly to camera and said: “I am standing in front of a Christian monastery in an overwhelmingly Muslim country and I am shocked above all by the beauty of it, by the care the government has taken to restore, to preserve, to beautify this area along the Jordan River.” (The New Arab, February 5, 2026.) This moment exemplifies his Gemini Mercury sextile Venus, where he was able to take in the facts and details while being moved by the beauty and the experience.

The independent, sometimes provocative streak of his Aries Venus was ever present. The following month, Carlson told an interviewer that Sharia Law has made Islamic societies more advanced than the West, a controversial statement that drew significant criticism from a United States audience. (Times of India, 2026.)

Mercury In Gemini Opposition Mars Retrograde in Sagittarius

Along with his Moon, Carlson has his Mercury and Mars out of bounds. Out of bounds placements are not common, and having three of them gives him a gateway to take risks that others may not take.

This is why Carlson feels comfortable in debate, and risking his own decorum. With Mercury in opposition to Mars, he can tell others what he thinks of them, regardless if it is flattering or disparaging. He tends to deal with combative thoughts, and tends to attract those who want to argue.

However, he probably has a hard time dealing with criticism of himself, though if he could separate himself from the emotions, he could grow through introspection and action.

With his Mars in retrograde, he most likely rethinks his past actions and how they impacted his work and service, due to the 6th house placement. His regret about promoting Trump is most likely real and not manipulative, though he also knows that he can gain some attention and supporters by doing so.

Mercury in Gemini Sextile Midheaven in Aries

Carlson would be known for either talking or writing with Mercury in sextile to his MC. His communication tends to be clear while also evoking feelings. He most likely is good at negotiations, especially in regards to pay. Forbes had surmised that at his peak, Carlson was making about 20 million dollars annually.

Besides negotiations, Carlson is probably good at puzzles and games, and enjoys flexing mental acuity with others.

Venus Conjunct Midheaven in Aries

With his MC in the sign of Aries, Carlson was bound to either be self-employed or the leader of his endeavors. With Venus in conjunction, it makes sense that he made his mark on a cable outlet, where creativity with the news prevails.

Usually, this aspect is great for getting along with others in a profession, however, Carlson is known for disparaging Fox News management and having conflict with Shepard Smith. Chiron is conjunct Carlson’s MC, reinforcing a pattern where public setbacks become the fuel for reinvention.

With the MC in sextile to his Mercury and trine to his Mars, his actions and words behind the scenes can come back to bite him, especially if he is trying to wound others. Those with Aries MC’s can be rash and impatient, especially in matters of their career.

However, when things are going well, this placement is good for social activity through work and Carlson projects himself as warm and friendly, especially when he is on screen.

Venus in Aries Trine Mars Retrograde in Sagittarius

This trine is known for being both charming and having drive. Recently, I have watched a few of Carlson’s YouTube videos and he really does know how to turn on the charm and create a sense of empathy.

Typically, with this placement, a person can assert themselves without offending others. But keep in mind, his Mars is out of bounds, so there is a natural risk-taking here that could cause offense.

There is also a natural tit for tat with how he interacts with others. He will lend assistance, but will also want favors in return. He is balancing between his personal needs and the needs of those he cares about.

Mars in Sagittarius Trine Midheaven in Aries

Tucker Carlson is a hard worker and most likely requires those around him to work hard as well. His dedication to work becomes part of his belief system, and he may be a workaholic. There is a tendency to be a zealot when it comes to work, since Jupiter is the dispositor to his natal Mars.

Since his Mars is in retrograde, he may re-do some of his projects or ask others to repeat or fix prior tasks, though he will want work to be performed quickly.

Having a physical outlet is best for this aspect, to release any pent up energy. An exercise routine, even if it is sporadic, can help with conflict at work.

With Mars out of bounds in the 6th house, routines can change or many roles can be played within the course of a day.

Jupiter in Virgo Conjunct Uranus in Libra

This is an out of sign conjunction, which typically doesn’t carry as much weight as a same sign conjunction.

However, at times, Carlson may shrug off some responsibilities. This aspect creates a strong sense of freedom while being idealistic.

There is an interest in possibilities and finding solutions or reforming the social structure.

Jupiter Conjunct Pluto in Virgo

The sign of Virgo is ruled by Mercury, and is data-driven, service oriented and likes to troubleshoot issues. It is no surprise that Carlson leans on this energy as he achieves success in his field.

A drive to gain power is strong with this planetary combination, and without an outlet, Carlson can have conflict with authorities, like he has already experienced with Fox News management and now with the president.

The energy of Jupiter and Pluto conjunctions is best used for internal control and development of belief systems that extend beyond the personal desire to get ahead.

Jupiter In Virgo Sextile Neptune in Scorpio

Carlson has the potential for an idealistic view of life and situations, and not seeing the world clearly at times. He could be more hung up on the way it should be than the way it is. There is a strong draw towards religious, philosophical, or spiritual concerns that could be unorthodox with the current consensus. Some beliefs are held as a desire to help others, which gives Carlson a sense of personal fulfillment.

He most likely will gamble with his beliefs or communication, with Jupiter in the 3rd house and Neptune in the 5th house. There is a need to take risks that others won’t, to show perceived ills or losses. However, with Neptune in Scorpio, there is an urge to get to the heart of the matter, though the complete picture may be obscured due to preconceived assumptions.

Jupiter in Virgo Sextile Ascendant in Cancer

Carlson benefits through his social contacts, and his contacts benefit through him. Even if he espouses one point of view, he most likely has acquaintances and friendships with people with different backgrounds. He has close ties to Vice President J.D. Vance, whom he helped mentor, as well as figures like Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene and Tulsi Gabbard. He recommended both Vance and Gabbard to Trump.

In addition, he has an amicable relationship with Rachel Maddow and a friendly relationship with Hunter Biden.

This placement helps with business ventures with old friends.

Saturn in Taurus (No Aspects, but is co-present to the Sun and Moon)

When a planet isn’t making any of the 5 major Ptolemy aspects, the strength of the planet tends to have less restrictions, and could work in a more awkward capacity.

Carlson’s Saturn is in an inconjunct (quincunx) to Uranus in Libra. In this 150 degree aspect, it could be hard for Carlson to immediately understand his responsibility when it comes to social media and viral content, especially if what he puts out there is disruptive. It is as if the response to what he says and does has its own agency.

This inconjunction is where Carlson has the authority to break tradition and change the dynamic of what is happening in the world around him. He gets visibility due to the luminaries being co-present and the three planets in the 11th house.

Agree or disagree with Carlson’s controversial takes, his duty is to shake up and challenge existing norms with Uranus in the 4th house in the sign of Libra. It is almost as if not personally owning what he puts out into the sphere of influence is necessary to create systemic change.

Neptune In Scorpio Trine Ascendant In Cancer

This aspect makes Carlson sensitive to the feelings of others and brings compassion to his interactions. Though he is known for being disruptive and sometimes adversarial, he does genuinely care about people.

Who he cares about though could be influenced by what he considers a spiritual truth.

At times, he will over-idealize certain individuals, which can be hard for him to reconcile after they fall from the pedestal he put them on.

Pluto In Virgo Sextile Ascendant In Cancer

Opportunities tend to happen for Carlson and as a result, he may experience positive changes throughout his life. His relationships tend to reform who he is but he also has the influence to positively change others.

With this aspect, he has gained a position of authority with his acquaintances, friends and co-workers. He could become the leader of a social group, or an organization based on shared values.

His long-range goals will change throughout his life in order to develop and acquire skills for his next role.

North Node in Pisces and South Node in Virgo

Carlson’s North Node is in the 9th house of higher education, law, medicine, history and culture. As he gets comfortable with these themes, he draws upon his South Node in the 3rd house, communicating what he is learning and discovering.

With the North Node sextile to his Sun and Moon, he focuses a spotlight on the information and the discoveries he makes. It is as if his audience learns with him, thus keeping his content engaging. With the South Node conjunct to Jupiter, Pluto and Uranus, he can take his audience into the inner workings of his mind, communicating his own beliefs and those that are in power. Yet, he can disrupt the script with an insightful musing or a controversial take.

With the trine to Neptune, he may speak without gaining all of the facts, relying upon his intuition and taking broad leaps in his assumptions. Over the past few days while listening to his show, he would make a statement and then backtrack, saying something like, “this is the way I see it but I could be wrong.”

With his North Node in Pisces, he is at his best when he is non-judgmental, compassionate and trusting in positive outcomes. Ideally, he should avoid over analyzing, exaggerating the importance of inconsequential details, or critical reactions.

With the North Node in the 9th house, it is ok for him to rely upon intuition, though ideally he should state that what he is saying is not fact but what his gut is telling him. He is here to develop a sense of freedom and adventure and to directly communicate his beliefs.

He is not someone to tune into in regards to logic and facts, but he is here to challenge our perceptions. Ideally, he is best when he is not gossiping or being impatient, but his intuitive ramblings could genuinely tap into information that cannot be captured in a data subset.

The Break From The Republican Party

For some, Carlson’s statement of no longer supporting the Republican Party came as a surprise, but it wasn’t for me. I have been researching the fixed star of Algol, inspired by a video I saw with John Kiriakou. While being fed other John Kiriakou videos, one came into my feed with him talking to Tucker Carlson. Since then, I have watched a half a dozen or so videos with Carlson, with him expressing his disappointment in the administration.

If you only consume content that is based on your values and beliefs, it would be easy to surmise that this is a publicity stunt, or that he is preparing for a presidential run, especially since this is a shift in his feelings about the government.

Progressed Chart

When I pulled up Carlson’s Progressed Chart, the first thing I noticed was Moon in Cancer at 0 degrees sitting in the 11th house. Since the Progressed Moon is in a sign for approximately 2.5 years, he recently had a big shift in his personal feelings. The Progressed Moon entered the sign of Cancer and switched houses on May 27th, 2026.

Sentiments do change throughout our life, but he made his sentiments public due to the Progressed Moon being in conjunction to his Progressed Mercury. Also, his Progressed Moon is Square to his Progressed Uranus, exacerbating his impatience with the current administration.

When he made his statement, the transiting Cancer Sun was conjunct his Progressed Moon, bringing to light his inner thoughts and feelings about the current circumstances of our government. Transiting Mercury and Jupiter are in a separating conjunction to his Progressed Cancer Sun, pulling his expression to a new place that focuses on values of family, nurturance and homeland.

Also, at the time of his announcement, transiting Uranus was conjunct to his Progressed MC, both at 3 degrees in Gemini in the 10th house. His Progressed Venus is at 6 degrees in Gemini, and this is a disruption to his relationship with Trump, who he was quite close to up until the day before the US attacked Iran.

Based on the Progressed Chart, this does not appear to be a publicity stunt, but instead a shift in his loyalty to the Republican Party and its administration, where he feels that they have let down the American people.

Transits to the Natal Chart on June 22nd

When Carlson made his announcement, Mercury in Cancer was conjunct his Ascendant at the exact degree. Jupiter was in a separating conjunction to his Ascendant, making the announcement big, but something that has been coming for a while.

Also, transiting Venus in Leo in his second house is trine to his natal Venus and MC in the 10th house. With transiting Saturn in Aries conjunct his natal Venus, he is taking responsibility for his values.

Transiting Mars in Taurus was conjunct to the exact degree of his Sun and applying a conjunction to his natal Moon. He felt he had to express himself, and the changes that he is undergoing.

Between the Progressed and natal chart transits, it is evident his shift is real and he felt compelled to express himself in a public forum. But the question remains, is he setting the stage up for something else?

Since the next “big thing” would be the presidential election, I am taking a look at election day and how that day impacts Carlson.

November 7th, 2028

Knowing whether or not Carlson is going to run for office right now is hard to predict, especially since he is not currently a public servant. However, since there were conjunctions to his Natal and Progressed Sun, which included Mercury and Mars, his shift in feelings about the administration will not go without action or discussion.

Progressed Chart

The Progressed Chart has minor changes from May 27th, 2026 but one change jumps out immediately, and that is the Moon. On November 7th, 2028, the Progressed Moon was at 29 degrees, symbolizing critical urgency.

On the 7th, I also looked at the transits, and Mars is applying a conjunction to his Progressed AC. He may have to defend his actions, and could have conflict with others. But, with this transit, he also could have a supported team that he works with.

With transiting Pluto Square his Progressed Saturn, there will be transformative change in regards to his duties and responsibilities, but it could be something that is forced onto him and not of his choosing. Most likely, this time period will affect his business operations and the work he does. However, with the Progressed Saturn in the 9th house, his energy could be focused on changing a law or structure.

When the Progressed Chart is in a biwheel to his natal chart, the Progressed Sun and Moon are conjunct to his natal AC. Regardless of what is going on, there will be a lot of attention focused on him. With Progressed Mercury now in his first house, his speech, monologues and messaging will gain attention. This is the energy of someone campaigning, especially with the Progressed Mercury, Sun and Moon in the 11th house in the Progressed chart. But this doesn’t mean he is campaigning necessarily on his own behalf.

Whatever he is doing around this time, there will be direct activity with Progressed Mars no longer in retrograde. With the bi-wheel, Progressed Mars is in his 6th house of work and routine.

Natal Chart

At the time of the 2028 election, Tucker Carlson will be at the end of his second Saturn Return. What he does from March 2028 forward, will shape his success. It is a time for him to prune out what isn’t working and to work towards his heart’s desire. It is a time period of endings, and new beginnings, where he can mature into the responsibilities he wants to take on. Saturn returns are not easy, and usually, there is loss during the process.

The Moon will be conjunct to his AC on the evening of November 7th, his mood most likely will shift through the day and he could be more sensitive to the energy of others. With Neptune applying a conjunction to his MC, he could feel inadequate and a loss to his career. As someone who is having this conjunction right now, it feels like I have disappeared off of the face of the Earth in regards to readership and bookings. Carlson could feel disillusioned, especially if he is not aware that this is a temporary transit.

My Personal Predictions and Thoughts on Tucker Carlson as of June 24th, 2026

Without an immense amount of research, I don’t know if he plans on running for office. But, looking at the Progressed Chart, he is not backing away from politics.

I think there is a possibility that he could start a new party, similar to the Tea Party, most likely called the America First Party or something along those lines. If he chose to do so, I could see him working with someone like Marjorie Taylor Greene, since she has expressed the same frustrations with the current Republican Party and with Trump and his administration. (Notably, as this article was being edited on June 24th, Greene announced she is also no longer supporting the Republican Party, calling it the America Last party, with both she and Carlson strongly opposed to the war with Iran.)

In my analysis, he is changing his feelings but his values are also going through quick and sudden epiphanies. This doesn’t mean he doesn’t still believe in his values, but he is gaining flashes of insight due to Uranus in his Progressed 2nd house. I expect that he may have a more peaceful and harmonious tone going forward, or validating certain values that could be shared by both the right-wing constituents and progressive voters.

With Uranus transiting his natal 12th house, he could continue to have new insights on subjects like incarceration, spirituality, and national isolationism.

His announcement is legitimate, he has shifted his viewpoint. But, he also isn’t going to sit back quietly. He will continue to be involved in politics in some fashion, whether that is making content, creating a new party, supporting outlier candidates or running for office.

A brief background on Vozinha. His given name is Josimar José Évora Dias born on June 3, 1986 in Mindelo, Cape Verde. Unfortunately, we do not have a birth time for Vozinha, so houses and chart angles will not be considered. This will not be a thorough chart reading, but instead, a quick look at his athleticism and the virality of his recent accomplishment.

On Monday, June 15th in Atlanta Georgia, Vozinha made 7 saves as a goalkeeper against Spain in the World Cup. The average goalkeeper makes between 2-3 saves in a World Cup performance (granted, and the amount of saves varies depending on teams and games.) This outstanding performance had him declared the player of the match between Spain and Cape Verde.

What made the game more fascinating was that Spain is the second highest ranking team in the world cup and the Cape Verde team was ranked 67. Vozinha prevented scoring from a top-notch team, and the final result was a game of 0-0. Vozinha is also the oldest player in the current World Cup series, at 40 years and 12 days old.

But it was his emotions that endeared him to the public. With tears at full time, he described the game as an achievement he’s been working towards his whole life and wished his late grandparents and his mother could have been there to see the game. Unfortunately, his mother wasn’t able to afford the visa to come to the United States.

Natal Astrology- Athletics, Determination, Optimism

Mars Sextile Jupiter

Vozinha has his Mars in Capricorn, its exalted state. Mars in Capricorn is determined, mature and focuses on achieving its long range goals. This is someone who can stick with a physical activity over a long duration, which we see in his lengthy professional career.

His natal Mars is sextile to Jupiter in Pisces, its domicile. These two planets are dignified and are working together harmoniously in his chart. Jupiter expands not only his athletic presence but also the length of his career.

This sextile expands optimism and drive, and maintains a high energy with the individual. It also shows success, especially in sports or business ventures.

Jupiter Square Uranus

In regards to Jupiter, Vozinha’s Jupiter is square to Uranus in Sagittarius, a sign that is ruled by Jupiter. This square can open him up to sudden opportunities, including what seems like a lucky break, such as his Instagram blowing up after the game.

Jupiter Trine Venus

With Venus in Cancer, it is no wonder that he attracted and endeared himself to others through tears. His emotions being on a big display touched those who watched the game or saw post-game videos. His outpouring of love for his family, attracted love back to him, with the flow between the two benefic planets.

The Moon

Since we don’t have a birthtime for Vozinha, his moon could either be in Aries or Taurus. He could have an Aries Moon squared to his Mars, which would give him vigor and passion with his athletics, as well as leadership abilities within the team.

But, if his Moon is in Taurus, this aspect wouldn’t play out as above, which is why I am hesitant to include it, but I do think it is worth noting.

Transits During The Game

The game took place from 12:00 PM until roughly 1:45 PM EDT on June 15th in Atlanta, Georgia.

Transiting Pluto Square Natal Pluto

This is one of the mid-life transits that lasts for several years due to the slow nature of Pluto and taking into consideration its applying and separating nature and retrogrades.

I could not help but notice that this square is only 6 minutes from perfection, with the retrograde Pluto in Aquarius applying to his natal Pluto in Scorpio. This tight square represents a pivotal, transformative time frame in someone’s life, where their past efforts go through a regeneration. For some, this is a negative tower moment, but for others, they can rise to the occasion, and achieve great things, becoming empowered for the next phase of their life.

With his performance, the depth of his conviction was rewarded with public support.

Transiting Saturn Sextile Natal Sun

Saturn in Aries, though in its detriment, can highlight individual achievement, especially when in sextile to the Sun. The game with Spain displayed his hard work and determination. The sextile gave an opportunity for achievement.

Vozinha’s sun is in the sign of Gemini, ruled by Mercury. With the activation of his Sun, his achievement became viral, as Mercury is the messenger. It also would not surprise me if Vozinha wins some sort of sponsorship deal or another opportunity to earn money since Mercury is associated with commerce.

Transiting Mars Trine Natal Mars

With Mars in Taurus making a trine to his natal Mars in Capricorn, Vozinha was willing to work for what he wanted. Self-confidence and motivation was activated, giving his athletic prowess a boost. This is a highly effective transit, especially for completing a project or taking on an athletic endeavor.

Transiting Mercury in Opposition to Natal Mars and Trine to Natal Jupiter

This is the transit of virality. The word about Vozinha’s athletic accomplishment was activated. And, with Mercury in trine to his natal Jupiter, the spread of his achievement went through the world, even to people like me who don’t follow any sport at all.

Also, Mercury was conjunct his Natal Venus, which gave this story a positive, warm, emotional spin. It wasn’t about a win per se, but his connection to home and family, the tears of determination and love of the game that became a bright story that was worth sharing.

As a note, transiting Jupiter was also in conjunction to transiting Mercury and in opposition to his natal Mars, giving the growth of the story some extra juice. As I started writing this piece an hour ago, his followers went from 12.7 million to 12.9 million.

Update on Vozinha’s Story

Though I have kept this article brief and high-level, and we don’t have a birthtime for additional details, I want to share some positive news about his current circumstance.

Cape Verde was one of the 50 countries whose citizens face bonds of up to $15,000 to secure a visa to the United States, which is what prevented his mother from attending the Spain match. The good news is that his mother will be able to attend Cape Verde’s next match in Miami, when they take on the Uruguay team. Representative and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries worked with Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and all fees for the visa were waived for Vozinha’s mother.

I am sure many will be on the edge of their seats, watching how the next game will unfold for Vozinha. Seeing his mother at the game is sure to win over the hearts of many.

There are a few different schools of thought when casting an Ingress Chart. One is that whatever the ascendant is on the Ingress chart dictates the duration of the chart. However, there are astrologers who will look at all of the cardinal Ingress charts, and I am one of them, but I don’t think the additional charts stand alone, they are a subtext within the overall story.

The reason I look at the Ingress Charts in between the ascendant dedicated cycle is that I have noticed subtle shifts in the past years. For instance, the Washington DC Aries Ingress Chart of 2025, had the ascendant in the sign of Aquarius. When the ascendant is in a fixed sign, the energy lasts a year. As the Moon shifted in each quarter, the attention of the public changed based on key circumstances.

At the start of 2025, with the Moon in the 11th house, there was concern of a government shutdown and if Congress would take action with DOGE. The populace continued to look towards the Congress for balance and action throughout the year, but additional attention shifted. During the Cancer Ingress, the Moon was in the 4th house, and issues like disasters that happened on the homeland, such as the Texas Flood in the Hill Country captured the public’s attention. When the Moon was in the 10th house during the Libra Ingress, the focus went to the administration (as well as congress) with disapproval of the government shutdown. And during the Capricorn Ingress phase, the Moon went into the 12th house, causing scrutiny over Trump’s declaration on January 2nd, 2026 that doctors said he was in perfect health.

Since the Aries Ingress chart of 2026 had the ascendant of Gemini, the energy of that chart lasts for 6 months. Many astrologers would not cast a chart for the Cancer Ingress. However, there are some shifts in energy, which I think is worth addressing. Keep in mind, the dominant energy is still the Aries Ingress chart, but there are some changes that we are seeing now and will continue to do so over the next three months.

This article includes a brief summary of the Aries Ingress chart, followed by the subtle changes with the Cancer Ingress chart.

The 1st House and the Ascendant in Gemini (The Country and Its Inhabitants)

Aries Ingress Summary:

Communication is front and center, minds are changed, rapid information, the overall strength of the United States is in flux.

Cancer Ingress:

The Cancer Ingress chart also has the ascendant in the sign of Gemini.

Mercury continues to be the dominant driving energy. In the Aries Ingress chart, Mercury was in retrograde in the 10th house, and we saw the administration frequently change their story. For instance, the conflict with Iran was framed with various reasons: regime change, nuclear capabilities, pre-emptive self-defense, and regional stability, among other things. Also, the duration of the military conflict changed timelines often, with a hard to pin down cease fire.

Mercury is now in the 2nd, so the information and media over the next few months will focus more on finance, trade and the economy.

Uranus is now in the 1st house, where prior it was in the 12th. This progression shows us that the unusual and disruptive actions that were taken behind the scenes are now felt by and expressed through the inhabitants of the country. Strange bedfellows are emerging, where opposing sides are finding common ground, such as Hunter Biden appearing on Candace Owens and Tucker Carlson shows. On The Necessary Conversation podcast, Mary Lou Kultgen is in the process of changing her mind when it comes to Universal Healthcare.

Uranus is adding a sense of urgency and electricity into the populace, and supporters of the administration are questioning their elected officials.

The 2nd House in Cancer (Wealth, Finance, Markets and the Economy)

Aries Ingress Summary:

Jupiter exalted in Cancer in the 2nd house suggested a strong economy on paper, but the South Node in Virgo in the 4th hinted that what’s reported and what’s actually happening could diverge. Jupiter’s square to Venus and trine to Mars pointed to overspending, with military risk-taking driven by wishful thinking about seizing resources. There was also the possibility of US weapons sales becoming part of a negotiation campaign with other countries, lining some influential pockets, alongside government handouts to offset public displeasure over warfare costs.

Cancer Ingress:

Already, we have seen much of what was stated with the Aries Ingress summary. Rubio led arms sales to Qatar and the UAE. The administration bypassed congressional review for emergency arms production.

What we haven’t seen yet is any government assistance to the population, though this could change over the next few months. The Sun, which represents the president and its administration, is in the 2nd house. To gain support, an incentive could be offered, especially if poll numbers and discontent continue in an unfavorable direction.

Jupiter is conjunct Mercury in the second house, so the economy and spending are top of mind. Mercury is sextile the Moon in the 4th house, so grocery prices and the cost of goods will shape public sentiment.

There could be action behind the scenes to quiet the news media and reports regarding the economy and another conflict if the Iran ceasefire remains in place, in order to quiet the uproar over spending and cost of goods. With Mars in the 12th house, this action could be covert, potentially involving illegal activity, hidden enemies, or institutions tied to confinement and reform.

The 3rd House in Leo (Transits, Networks, Neighboring Countries, Shipping)

Aries Ingress Summary:

There were no planets in the 3rd house during the Aries Ingress.

Cancer Ingress:

Venus in Leo is in the third house, a shift from the prior Aries Ingress chart. We could see a pivot with the US from attacking its neighbors to diplomatic resolutions. In the sign of Leo, there could be some bravado associated with any resolutions, such as stating that the US was the winner of any negotiations.

There will be more of a focus in the media on entertainment and sports, such as what occurred on Trump’s birthday at the White House. There could be an attempt for the administration to create its own venue for artists and musicians or a takeover of an artistic or entertainment facility.

In the news, expect to see a focus on marriage and children, especially revolving around celebrities or politicians.

Venus is in trine to Saturn and Neptune which are in the 11th house. There could be a demand for accountability from those that have fame or responsibility for legislation. A push for healthcare or rules to protect women and children is also possible over the next few months.

The 4th House in Virgo (Land, Agriculture, Food, Weather and the Societal Classes)

Aries Ingress Summary:

An economic drain, due to resources and labor. Old ways of doing things are challenged and have a feudalistic feel. The average person is struggling financially. There is a division of the haves and have-nots.

Cancer Ingress:

With the South Node still in the 4th house, resources cost more and quantity and quality seem to be less. The Moon, which represents public sentiment and the common people, is focused on matters of the home and their budget. While this is happening, the rich are getting richer.

As of a few days ago, Elon Musk’s wealth, due to his creative IPO for Space X, was estimated to be 1.18 Trillion dollars. Peter Thiel made an exodus to Argentina and Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner are getting pushback, known as the Flamingo Revolution, from the citizens of Albania for their luxury development project on Sazan Island.

Though the unemployment rate is officially 4.3%, when we include the broad unemployment rate, it is 8.1% which includes the underemployed and the discouraged. The AI algorithms are causing racial biases and mass rejections, even with qualified candidates, since information is shared in these human resource hiring tools, per a Stanford study.

Overall, the sense of uncertainty continues and there is shared public sentiment that something needs to change for the well-being of everyday people. With the Moon in trine to Mars in the 12th house, there could be economic pushback on military spending and activities.

The 9th House in Aquarius (Shipping, International Concerns, Beliefs, Law)

Aries Ingress Summary:

Shipping issues would continue, Congress and courts would not stop the conflict happening with Iran. Oil was at the top of the chart, and disruption creates change. A political underground that has cover-ups around violence and exploitation.

Cancer Ingress:

On April 13, 2026, the United States military joined in the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz. A chokehold of oil supply was created, with shipping volume through the strait dropping from over 20 million barrels per day in February to around 3.8 million barrels per day in early April. The US benefited financially from the blockade, with crude oil and petroleum product net exports hitting a record 5.8 million barrels per day in April as other nations scrambled for alternative supply.

US oil production is roughly 13.6 million barrels per day, less than the 20 million barrels per day the country consumes. Supply, even though exports increased, is down for the US as well as other nations, driving up the cost of oil. This has benefited US oil producers and refineries, while the cost of gasoline has increased for US citizens.

As of yet, there hasn’t been a cover-up in regards to oil. However, recently, the New York Times published an article in regards to the release of the Epstein files. On July 17, 2025, the Trump administration discussed damage control in the White House Situation Room. Leaked recordings and documents were withheld, even after a forced congressional vote.

There could be judgements made against or for the media, with Pluto in opposition to Venus in the third house in the Cancer Ingress chart. There is a continuing erosion of precedent in regards to the media and what they can or cannot cover. Most rulings have sided with the free press, however, those with significant financial resources are depleting media outlets financially by filing lawsuits. Currently, Trump has a pending lawsuit against the BBC in federal court in Miami, over a documentary on Trump that is currently in the discovery phase.

With Pluto in trine to Uranus, court proceedings could get interrupted, or past precedent could be ignored, either by the plaintiffs or the court, challenging the Constitution and the role of the judiciary.

The 10th House in Pisces (The President and the administration, Trade, Reputation, Credit and Power.)

Aries Ingress Summary:

Mercury retrograde in fall in Pisces in the 10th pointed to an administration stuck in confusion, giving long winding non-answers, back-tracking, and purposeful deception. Communication from the executive branch was blurry, fuzzy, inconsistent and misleading.

Mars in the 10th in Pisces pointed to war, conflict, and oil, with military justifications that wouldn’t hold up to scrutiny, the administration playing victim while victimizing others. There is a possible realization in the fall that US military strength may not match its reputation.

Cancer Ingress:

The Aries Ingress in the 10th house still stands, but it is worth noting that Mercury is in Cancer in the 2nd house and Mars is in Taurus in the 12th house.

Most of the confusing rhetoric over the next three months will center on the economy, US values and the economic strength of the United States instead of military or ICE conflict. This doesn’t mean activity has stopped, only that it will be downplayed. Most likely what we will hear is that there is no inflation and that the average person is doing better than ever and everything is fine.

But I also think we will hear and see less of the president over the next three months, with the 10th house essentially being empty except for the North Node. It is as if the entire administration is in a dream-like fog, playing victim, causing confusion and gaslighting the public. But there could also be delusion on their part as well, as if the mantra “everything is fine” is more to soothe the administration than the actual population.

The 11th House in Aries (Congress, Allies and Legislation)

Aries Ingress Summary:

The 11th house was the most crowded in the chart, with the Sun, Neptune, Saturn, Venus, Moon and Chiron all present, pointing to Congress as the central story.

The Sun indicated administration meddling in the legislative branch, though some members would push back. Saturn and Neptune together suggested Congress’s own authority had been eroded, making any attempts to reel in the administration, particularly around spending, an uphill battle.

Venus pointed to legislation impacting women and minorities, specifically name-change documentation requirements like the SAVE Act, while also offering some potential for bipartisan diplomatic resolutions.

The Moon reflected public frustration with a Congress perceived as out of touch, with protests and outcries likely. Saturn also raised the possibility of special elections due to the death of one or two legislators, given that 24 members are over the age of 80.

Cancer Ingress:

Only Saturn and Neptune remain in the 11th house in the Cancer Ingress chart.

Though there have been three special elections since March 20th, the only one associated with a death was Republican Rep. Doug LaMalfa, which occurred prior to the Aries Ingress. However, Senator Mitch McConnell was admitted to the hospital on June 14th without a confirmed diagnosis.

Rep. Tom Kean Jr. of New Jersey has also been missing in action since March 17th, due to an undisclosed but temporary illness. The Saturn-Neptune conjunction can bring on illness and malaise and with Saturn in the 11th house, a state funeral of a congress person is still likely.

Information in regards to the frailty of some members may get exposed in July, due to both Neptune and Saturn retrograding. Congress could revisit past legislation during this time.

Congress remains weak due to Neptune and Saturn being co-present. With the Sun square to Neptune, some congress people will feel deflated due to either deception from the administration or that their ideals could not be realized.

The 12th House in Taurus (Prisons, Criminals, Hospitals, and Secret Societies)

Aries Ingress Summary:

The 12th house in Taurus pointed to hidden agendas centered on land, resources, material wealth and oil, with Uranus here, the real motivations were deliberately obscured from public view. Covert operations were designed to destabilize other nations or peoples while benefiting those in power, with right-leaning economic and political ideals driving the agenda behind the scenes.

AI-enabled mass surveillance was flagged as a key tool of control, making Orwellian oversight not just possible but practical. The takeaway here is that Uranus doesn’t play favorites, and the same disruptive energy that fuels covert operations can just as easily implode them from within.

Cancer Ingress:

Uranus has progressed into the 1st house while Mars is now in the 12th.

Behind the scenes strategy is what will happen for the next three months, based on what had already been in focus for the administration. War, conflict and the role of the military will factor into any covert or hidden plans. Even if a peace agreement is made, there could be other strategic strikes, whether that is in Iran or with another country, such as Cuba.

The 12th house is associated with hospitals and mental health. Part of Mars’ strategy could be to cover-up Trump’s health, especially by his cabinet. When Trump went to Walter Reed on May 26th, he held no public events for over a week.

During his Walter Reed visit, it was reported that he had seen 22 doctors including neurological specialists, yet the White House statement was that “everything checked out perfectly.”

There could be planning that is happening behind the scenes if for some reason Trump was not able to fulfill his duties. With the 12th house theme, Uranus in the Aries Ingress chart and Mars in the Cancer Ingress chart, there could be an unusual proposal that does not align with a traditional transfer of power.

Takeaways with the Cancer Ingress Chart

The instability of the United States moved from the 12th house to the world stage with Uranus in the 1st house. We most likely will see increased leaks from Trump’s inner circle, such as what was captured in the recent New York Times article and book Regime Change: Inside the Imperial Presidency of Donald Trump by Maggie Haberman and Jonathan Swan.

With the South Node and the Moon in the 4th house, there will be increased outcries in regards to spending overseas and not on domestic issues.

There is a possibility of stimulus checks to maintain peace and stability within the United States. (This is predictive based on the Sun, Mercury and Jupiter in the 2nd house of the Cancer Ingress chart.)

War, conflict or strategic maneuvering isn’t over, even if the agreement with Iran goes through. Mars is in the 12th house, so activity will be clandestine. Though fixed stars are not usually used in Ingress charts, I feel compelled to state that Algol is conjunct Mars. Though I don’t necessarily think there would be a coup against Trump, there could be alternate plans in regards to Trump’s ability to lead and the succession of power if he were no longer able to lead.

Please know, Ingress charts are high-level and some of the specific statements I made are based not only on the Ingress charts, but charts of leaders and countries, along with their transits. Imagine the teen, dressed-up, pretending to be an adult, talking and socializing the way they perceive older people to interact. The teen is out of their element, excited, craving social attention. That is how I am thinking of this New Moon in Gemini: chatty, scattered and a little hyper, excited for a new experience that it may not be emotionally or intellectually ready.

And maybe I have the image of my much younger self in mind, due to Venus in Leo applying a sextile to Uranus in Gemini. Bold attraction aligns with electrified social energy. Personalities are fascinating, parties are enticing. It is more about the romance of the moment than something structured and long lasting.

Even if your party days are behind you like mine, capturing the charged energy of the New Moon can help you over the next couple of months, when we experience Mercury in Retrograde. We are primed to come up with new ideas and seize moments of opportunity. It is our last hurrah before the slow-down and review.

Mercury is currently in the sign of Cancer, which means that there is a mutual reception between the Moon in Gemini and Mercury. These two planets are in cahoots, just like two teens plotting their escapade. Sheer emotion feeds ideas and information ignites excitement.

Just like a teen, Mercury is sextile to Mars in Taurus. Confidence in the ability to defend your own ideas takes place around the New Moon. This is the energy of being busy with activities and standing up for beliefs. Along with the new moon, the Mercury-Mars sextile is advantageous for exploring new opportunities.

(Just to note, though I am using the teenager analogy of the energy around the new moon, there is a No Kings Protest on the 14th. I am not belittling the importance of this event, in fact, I think the energy of the day is conducive to the protest.)

With Mercury applying a conjunction to Jupiter in Cancer, perspectives are broadened for the next few weeks. Like a teenager, we are concerned with the largest, most comprehensible understanding of the world and how it operates. There is a desire to understand various viewpoints and a tolerance of different beliefs. Optimism abounds through foresight, seeing the possibilities of what “could be.” Details are not front and center, but instead, it is about making connections and transactions.

If you are out and about during the New Moon, you could have some issues with personal discipline, just like the average teen. This is due to Venus in Leo still within the orb of a conjunction to Jupiter in Cancer. However, there could be some financial luck, there is more of a probability to overspend, due to the lack of control. For the most part, there are warm feelings, and relationships tend to go well on this day. I wouldn’t doubt with the excited energy and Venus in Leo, that some new bold and daring declarations of love or attraction happen on this day.

If you are the one with a crush, check yourself first that you are seeing the situation clearly. With Venus trine to Neptune in Aries, you could be buying into your fantasies. Even with the signs of Leo and Aries, the planets pull towards unselfish acts and a search for spiritual connection. Creative pursuits are a good way to explore the energy, and it could help sort some of the fog between what you are feeling and the reality of your relationships. Since energy is electric on this day, releasing some of the excitement in a productive manner can help.

Venus in opposition to Pluto continues the intensity, and that teenage excitement is amplified. Some will feel compelled to pour every ounce of their being into a romantic encounter. There is a charged quality to this weekend when it comes to romance, and indiscretion or new relationships can have a compulsive nature. You may feel like you met your soulmate, when in actuality, it could just be lust and attraction that is driving you to make decisions.

Since Mars is in Taurus and in sextile to Mercury, if you are not someone who succumbs to reckless behavior, much of this exciting energy may be more in your head than acted upon. Use this angsty, restless energy to create, come up with ideas and dream of what you want in your life. The energy this weekend is great for shaking up and releasing stagnation.

And a good, responsible way to channel the energy is through humanitarian pursuits. With Jupiter in Cancer trine to Neptune in Aries, idealism can connect you to others. Though this trine can put us in a dreamy, lackadaisical state, if you take the excitement of the weekend and channel it, you can do something that aids the ambition of a larger group.

Even though Saturn is in its fall in the sign of Aries, if you can channel this energy in a productive and positive manner, combining persistence and discipline will serve you well. Persistence is something that many teens embrace, but as adults we tend to lean on discipline. Saturn gives us the opportunity to lean into that independent and pioneering spirit while being grounded and practical.

On a side note, last year when we had the New Moon in Gemini, Uranus was in Taurus. The energy back then felt heavy and unmovable. Now, it feels different, a bit unsettled but with a desire to change our futures. As the first Gemini New Moon that is co-present with Uranus, we could feel our minds opening to new experiences. Keep that in mind, because this New Moon is about change, which is what the teen years are all about. Unbridled enthusiasm and a “can-do” attitude to break the status quo is possible. It’s time to decide: are you a mover and shaker or are you going to passively accept your current circumstances?

But we also need to talk about what is happening with Saturn. At the same time that Venus and Jupiter are making a conjunction, Saturn and Mercury are squared to each other. So what does this all mean?

Essentially, it is good luck and good vibes bumping up against restrictions and serious subjects.

Venus Conjunct Jupiter

When Venus conjuncts Jupiter, luck is activated. Our mood is lifted and we tend to feel good about our lives. We could be grateful for our relationships, feel positive about our career trajectory, or desire social interactions. The downside with this conjunction is that we may not have much discipline, but Saturn has that covered.

One thing worth noting: the Moon is in its waning state, so starting something brand new may not be the best use of this energy, since it may not have lasting power. This is a great day, however, to do things you do on a routine basis, like getting a haircut, visiting a coffee shop, or getting a massage.

Mercury Square Saturn

When Mercury squares Saturn, it is a good day for disciplined thought. Schedule detailed work that requires heavy mental focus. With Mercury in Cancer and Saturn in Aries, thoughts on how you handled responsibilities in the past may come to the surface. This is not a great day for negotiations or discussions, due to the potential for misinterpretations or hurt feelings. This square can bring pessimism and a tendency to dwell on flaws.

On the positive side, it is a great day to fix and repair projects you’ve been working on. If you have a manuscript or a research project, this is a great time to review your work and make adjustments. Avoid being narrow-minded and instead focus on the minor details that could use some tweaking.

These two configurations can actually work together, as long as we don’t get lost in the negative side of Saturn.

Logistics to Consider

Usually the energy of Saturn will dominate, however since Saturn is in its Fall in the sign of Aries, it does not carry its usual strength. Jupiter in Cancer, on the other hand, is in its exaltation. One other thing that makes this Jupiter more potent: it is out of its shadow from the previous retrograde. This conjunction happens approximately once a year, and these are the two benefics, planets that usually work in our favor.

This day will be most beneficial for those who have Jupiter or Venus in one of the cardinal signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra, or Capricorn) around 25 degrees, and it favors the cardinal rising signs.

Gemini Rising:

Sell items that are no longer of use to you. Research investments and plan your dream portfolio. Find an additional source of income, such as freelancing or gig work for additional revenue.

Cancer Rising:

Engage in detailed work in regards to your business or career. Find areas to improve your reputation, like sprucing up your website. Get a hair-cut, your nails done or some other activity that polishes your image and allows you to shine. Go out in public with a positive attitude, opportunity for just about anything can be right around the corner! Smile and feel grateful.

Leo Rising:

Be careful not to overindulge in anything that could harm your health.

Pisces Rising:

Be introspective on your personal values and adjust accordingly. Check your accounts and tighten your budget. Go to a park for a picnic with dishes that you made. Ask someone on a date or say yes to one! Be grateful for the children in your life. Play. Have fun. Swing on a swing-set. Express yourself in a creative fashion, like painting or decorating. We have the last four weeks of Jupiter in its exaltation, before it leaves the sign of Cancer and moves into the sign of Leo on June 30th. This month, especially after the new moon on the 14th, is a great time to focus on anything you wish to grow.

The first three weeks of the month, we have the Sun in Gemini. Gemini energy is about duality and communication, asking questions and being flexible with our thoughts and assumptions. Though the energy is restless, embrace curiosity, even with your own convictions. Challenge yourself to see situations from multiple viewpoints.

We will have a Mercury Retrograde which starts at the end of the month. This retrograde will give you time to digest everything you’ve learned and absorbed over the past few months. Since Mercury will be in Cancer for the entire month, the information you’ve taken in may be digested emotionally. Your feelings come into play with your intellect. Some of us may have an opportunity over the next couple of months of mending bridges.

At the end of the month, we will have some intense energy as Mars applies its energy to Uranus. With Mercury and the Full Moon happening on the 29th, and Jupiter leaving Cancer on the 30th, expect a shift in energy which intensifies in July.

June 1st through June 6th

We start the month with a Mercury ingress into the sign of Cancer. The news cycle will be a little slower but could carry an emotional punch. Discussions of security, family, and national protection dominate. Housing sales or multi-generational housing could also be a focus in the media over the next few months, since Mercury will be in Cancer until August 9th when it enters the sign of Leo. The long stay in Cancer has to do with Mercury going into retrograde at the end of the month.

However, with Mercury square to Neptune in Aries, have discernment with anything that is being promoted in the news. For instance, if there are reports that your safety is in jeopardy, do some research to determine if the report is valid. There is a tendency of emotional deception through the 6th of the month, so be wary of hyperbole. Mercury is also out of bounds in declination, so ideas can be anywhere from being ludicrous to being brilliant.

On the 2nd, the Sun in Gemini is sextile to Saturn in Aries. With Venus in Cancer applying a conjunction to Jupiter, this is a great day for long-term planning, especially something that you want to implement later. The energy is good for decorating or refurbishing your home.

Finances and relationship themes will continue through the week. There is a sense of excitement, and a temptation to spend, especially on luxury items. The vibes are eat, drink and be merry for most of the week, especially if you steer away from current events. However, with that said, be careful of overspending, since the temptation to buy that luxury handbag (or whatever it is that you have your eye on) is real.

June 7th through June 13th

Tie up loose ends and finish projects as this is the week before the New Moon. It is also a good week to research and write out plans that you want to start next week. Mars in Taurus is about taking your time, ensuring that whatever you finish has sustainability and comforting aesthetics.

Personally, I have been looking forward to the Venus and Jupiter conjunction in Cancer on June 9th. This can be a lucky day for some, especially if you have a tight Venus-Jupiter conjunction in your own chart. Just be careful of having negative thinking or doubt, since Mercury is square to Saturn in Aries. For instance, if a great opportunity comes your way, you may have an instinct that the situation is too good to be true, and usually there is validity in that mindset. However, this is a day where some discernment is good, but being critical can be a hindrance. The key is to ask for the details and listen, as opposed to being a naysayer, since real opportunities can be present.

You also could find yourself healing from a past relationship during this week, due to Venus’ square with Chiron. You may think of an ex or a past issue in a relationship, and it no longer has the impact it once had. Instead, it has morphed into an experience that you can use to help others.

Venus enters the sign of Leo on June 13th. Leo is bold and dramatic, and if you are in a new relationship, there is a chance of both of you declaring your love for each other, since the moon will be in conjunction with Uranus for part of the day. This can be a day of impulse, such as eloping or getting involved with a fling. There is a sense of let’s hurry up and do something exciting, but just know, what goes up eventually comes down, and that includes being overly enthusiastic about whatever tryst you are involved in.

The shadow period of Mercury in retrograde starts on the 13th, when Mercury is at 16°19’ in the sign of Cancer. Keep this in mind, since some themes over the next couple of weeks may be revisited during Mercury’s retrograde.

June 14th through June 20th

The Gemini New Moon occurs on June 14th at 24°03’. When the New Moon is at the exact degree, there are no major aspects with it. The New Moon is its own energy, even though it is co-present to Uranus. Though Gemini is associated with messaging, news, writing, and social activity, this moon is multi-faceted and diversified. The house placement for you is where you want to look for endings and new beginnings.

The moon is out of bounds during the New Moon, a declination of 27 degrees and 58 minutes to the north, out of the sun’s path. When the Moon is out of bounds, emotions can be heightened for some individuals. Saturn is slightly out of the orb of influence with Neptune, and Mercury in Cancer and the Moon in Gemini are in a mutual reception. Mercury and the Moon are supporting each other through disposition, allowing for intellect and emotions to be in harmony. Discussions about boundaries and the emotional toll of authority could come to the surface. Even though the energy is heightened, with the Moon-Mercury mutual reception there could be a desire for understanding.

With that said, if you are engaging in conversation within your relationships, each of you may be more passionate about your point of view. You could, without realizing it, be putting restrictions on each other. The key here is to put yourself in the other person’s perspective and to take both an intellectual and nurturing approach to your disagreements. Are you respecting each other as individuals or are you trying to make the other person behave or live up to your expectations?

Chiron has been at 29 degrees in the sign of Aries for the past few weeks. Chiron in Aries is about the wounds and healing of leadership and individualism. It exposes our naivety and our selfish nature. On the 19th, Chiron will temporarily move into the sign of Taurus, where the desire for stability, security and comfort will be challenged. Chiron will stay in the sign of Taurus until September 17th, when it will retrograde back into the sign of Aries until April 17th, 2027.

The brief preview of Chiron and Taurus will help expose what happens when we don’t take accountability for our individual actions, and some will feel it in their pocketbooks or through their resources. Our spontaneity in our decision making and biases is what comes to the surface. While Chiron is in Taurus, other issues will emerge, such as stubbornness with staying a course that keeps us in our comfort zone. Ideally, we learn to make informed choices based on what solves a root cause instead of what feels good in the moment, something that will be evaluated in 2034.

June 21st through June 27th

We have the Summer Solstice on June 21st, when the Sun enters the sign of Cancer. Astronomically, the Earth’s hemisphere reaches its maximum tilt toward the Sun, resulting in the longest day and shortest night of the year. It is the start of summer, and Cancer season is when cardinal energy comes front and center.

The Sun and Chiron will be in a tight conjunction, so memories and emotions come to the surface. This is a great day to spend time with the family and it just happens to be Father’s Day. Depending on your background, this could be a day of healing or emotional turmoil, so you may want to prepare ahead of time by finding ways to create comfort and nurturing for yourself.

However, if you have a strained relationship with a parent, you may be more tolerant of their opposing viewpoints and interpretations of your relationship. This is due to Mercury being conjunct to Jupiter in the sign of Cancer. Since Mercury is almost stationary, you may not be changing each other’s minds, but you could come to the understanding that not everyone is programmed the same way.

The Sun also makes a square to Neptune, and goes exact on the 25th. When the Sun is square to Neptune, we can get overwhelmed with the circumstances surrounding us. Our energy tends to be low and the mood can feel somewhat hopeless. However, keep in mind, this energy is temporary, and is usually caused by our idealism. The key here is not to have expectations and allow events to unfold.

But the 25th is unique in some other ways. We are given a preview of the Barbault Basket, an aspect configuration that has had much hype over the past few years, some astrologers are optimistic, while others are not. I personally fall in-between. What is happening on this day is that Jupiter is at 29 degrees, in the sign of Cancer, and is applying out of sign aspects to Uranus (disruption and change,) Neptune (idealism and murkiness) and Pluto (power and transformation.) Neptune and Pluto are at 4 degrees and Uranus is at 3 degrees.

This is why I believe the 25th is a preview for the full basket configuration that perfects on July 19th. Between now and then, Jupiter ingresses into Leo on the 30th, and Mars applies a conjunction to Uranus that goes exact on July 3rd. The planets are setting up a pressure cooker of sorts, with the Sun on the 25th already making awkward minor aspects to the outer planets signaling that something is building.

With that said, this week will feel like something is ready to drop. This could be something as simple as issues with the World Cup, which starts on June 11th and wraps up on the day of the basket configuration on July 19th, when Jupiter is at 4 degrees in Leo. But it could also have something to do with the July 4th celebrations, since Mars and Uranus conjunct on the 3rd.

Overall, this week feels intense but it may be hard to put your finger on exactly why. I recommend taking things slow this week, pay attention to your environment and don’t push buttons, figuratively and literally. Countries could engage in some defensive maneuvers, or exaggerate their optimism in regards to any military action.

June 28th through June 30th

We start off the week with Mars ingressing into the sign of Gemini on the 28th and Mars will remain in Gemini until August 11th. If you are an Aries rising, please pay attention to the road when driving, and do not drive and text. Honestly, most drivers may be distracted the next two months, so please do what you can to stay safe. Keep in mind, it is car travel season, so there will be drivers in unfamiliar territory. My suggestion: take deep breaths, allow additional time for your commutes and don’t be in a rush.

We will have a little over two months of fast, aggressive information coming our way. With Mars and Uranus both in the same sign and just a few degrees apart, expect unusual news and surprises. I am not saying the information will be factual, so check sources, but there can be an onslaught of half-baked assumptions, especially in the media.

Mercury is stationing this week and goes into retrograde on the 29th. Themes of home and family will be revisited during the retrograde, as well as defense. A productive task to do over the next few weeks is going through your old photos and videos, and organize or protect them. This could be creating a shared drive with family members so that everyone has access, but you may want to ensure that no one can delete them.

Retrogrades give us time to retool projects and tie up loose ends. Though they are not opportune for starting something new, Mercury in Cancer could help you gain perspective on family members, especially those who have a different world view than yours. Studying history around their developmental years could give you insight on how their psyche was developed.

We have the Full Moon in Capricorn on June 29th. I’d expect a focus to be on authority figures, structures and traditions. The moon will be making an applying square to Saturn in Aries. How leadership is or isn’t serving the masses will be illuminated. With the fixed star Facies conjunct the Moon, we could explore the themes of being so driven and hardworking that we push forward until we exhaust our energy. We could see people in high positions having losses.

On a personal level, the Full Moon is about checking in on how you are handling your responsibilities and what you have left to do in regards to your goals. Take stock of your accomplishments and let the energy of your past successes motivate you on your current journey.

On the 30th, Jupiter enters the sign of Leo. Jupiter by nature is optimistic and forward thinking. In Leo, the generous nature of Jupiter is exemplified, and we go from a protective energy into one that is bold and daring. With Jupiter applying an opposition to Pluto in Aquarius, there is a desire for success, especially when it comes to creative endeavors. Keep in mind, ruthless and cutthroat actions will backfire, especially if you are being retaliatory. The lesson over the next month is to use this energy to benefit all parties and not just yourself.

Though Mars and Uranus make an exact conjunction on July 3rd, I cannot leave this month without discussing the importance of this conjunction. Though this conjunction happens approximately every two years, it is associated with rash behavior. With Jupiter in sextile to this conjunction, we could observe people making some poor decisions. With that said, be observant over the next week. Please don’t make decisions based on belief or fear. This energy can be optimistic, as long as you approach everything with a clear head. But just know, that almost anything can happen, especially over the US holiday weekend.

In addition, we have the moon out of bounds during the Full Moon. This is a common occurrence and most commonly happens when the moon is in the sign of Gemini, Cancer, Sagittarius and Capricorn. In Gemini and Cancer, the moon is out of bounds to the Sun’s path in the north and while in Sagittarius or Capricorn, the moon is out of bounds to the south. The out of bounds energy acts as a wild card, giving the moon an untethered feel, as if anything emotionally, intuitively or introspectively can happen.

Besides the moon, Mercury and Venus are also out of bounds, both to the North of the Sun’s path. With three entities outside of the Sun’s path, this Full Moon is potent with possibilities. Mercury out of bounds allows for unconventional thought and communication that is inventive and surprising. Venus in the out of bounds state allows us to take risks within our relationships, through negotiations and our expression of love and beauty. How we communicate our innermost thoughts and feelings within the confines of our relationships can be liberating during this Full Moon.

Like the prior New Moon, a Behenian fixed star is prominent with the Full Moon in Sagittarius. The Moon is at 9 degrees and 55 minutes and just 12 minutes conjunct, is the fixed star of Antares at 10 degrees and 8 minutes. The name of Antares is traced back to the Greeks, as being “like Ares,” due to its red color and association with Mars. Antares is one of the four Royal Stars of Persia, considered the Watcher of the West. It is part of the constellation of Scorpius and is known as either the breast or heart of the Scorpion.

So why am I discussing a Fixed Star instead of the Full Moon? It is because of the current dynamics of the United States, Israel and Iran. During the New Moon in Taurus, Algol figured prominently with the three countries. Antares, however, is only present in Benjamin Netanyahu’s chart, conjunct to his Chiron in the first house.

Antares isn’t the only fixed star worth noting. Aldebaran, the Watcher of the East, is conjunct to the Sun during the Full Moon. While the Sun in Gemini is at 9 degrees and 55 minutes, Aldebaran is at 10 degrees and 9 minutes, just 13 minutes from the Sun.

These two stars can give us some insight on what is happening in the world, which is illuminated through the Full Moon. Antares and Aldebaran are two potent stars, and since the Full Moon is an accumulation of the energy before it, it is worth exploring the meaning and ramifications of these stars.

Antares represents obsessive passion. It is a star of great success but it is associated with self-undoing. Due to its intensity, going to extremes can happen when this star is activated. When drama occurs for the sake of drama, all gains tend to be lost. Being grandiose is a sure fire way of losing whatever matters are occurring, especially if wrought with emotional turmoil.

However, balancing with the Sun is Aldebaran. Aldebaran also can bring success, but instead of through effort and experience like Antares, success is tied to moral integrity. Having a reputation for honesty and respect is necessary. Compromising integrity hampers the positive effect of Aldebaran.

Will there be a peace deal and treaty by the Full Moon? Unfortunately, I think it is doubtful but not entirely impossible, especially if the rhetoric is toned down. Part of this has to do with the parties involved, but the other is Mars being at 9 degrees and 17 minutes in the sign of Taurus. This placement is an inconjunct (quincunx) to the Full Moon, an awkward, annoying aspect that can cause distrust and agitation. It makes it hard for the parties involved to visualize how the others would take action.

Besides world events, I do think looking at these stars can be good to recognize on a personal level. Since the Full Moon highlights your activities, you can think about the lessons of these two stars.

This Full Moon is about looking at your past successes and failures, and whether you honored your word, had integrity or if you bulldozed your way, creating drama and harm to others. Did you give up what you believed in? Did you gain your success through experience and work? Did you work positively with passion or were you obsessed?

If you haven’t been tackling your life with expertise and a steady hand, this Full Moon could showcase your flaws. However, if you’ve been diligent, hard working and true to your words and intentions, your efforts could be highlighted in a positive light.

But this Full Moon isn’t just about the fixed stars of Antares and Aldebaran. There are aspects with the Moon and Sun, as well as the other astrological transits to explore.

The Sagittarius Moon is in trine to Saturn and Neptune, the two culprits that have been zapping our energy and wearing away our foundations. With the Moon separating from its trine to Neptune, our imaginations are given an extra boost. This is energy that can be used towards creative daydreaming. But keep in mind, some of your ideas may not be original, since you could be tapping into something from the collective consciousness.

The Moon is applying its trine to Saturn, which gives the ability to keep emotions under control. There is a steadiness to this Full Moon, as long as one doesn’t allow false beliefs, pride or grandstanding to get in the way of their efforts. With the influence of the fixed stars to the Full Moon, Saturn can add a grounded, responsible energy. But, keep in mind, Saturn creates limits, so pushing past those limits can cause issues.

Mercury in Gemini is sextile to Chiron in Aries during the Full Moon. It is possible to come to the realization that you’ve healed from a past painful conversation, and you may gain understanding of the purpose of the relationship. There is the ability to see the situation from multiple perspectives, and to put yourself into the shoes of another person.

Venus in Cancer begins its applying conjunction to Jupiter. We only have about a month left of Jupiter in Cancer, and this is the time to partake in its ability to create growth and optimism. The energy of Venus combined with Jupiter is great for relationships and finances, as long as you don’t over indulge, so no Hermes’ bags unless you have millions in your bank account! Over the coming weeks, luck has an opportunity to be on your side, especially if you have Venus or Jupiter in your natal chart in the later degrees of Cancer.

Mars in Taurus made an exact square with Pluto in Aquarius on the evening of the 25th, and this energy is carried into the Full Moon on the 31st, as Mars separates from Pluto. This aspect is great for transforming your relationships but there is a huge caveat. Pluto and Mars squares encourage power struggles, a tit for tat and can lead to butting heads. The key here is not to go into negotiations with the idea of winning, but instead, go in with the motivation to understand and grow from the experience.

Overall, this Sagittarius Full Moon is about putting your past beliefs to the side, taking responsibility for your past statements and listening to the other parties involved. There is the ability to gain understanding and with work and diligence, to come to productive agreements. The key is to avoid dramatics or a lack of participation and to look at whatever is happening in your life from various points of view. This Full Moon taps into our optimism and allows us to grow. Battles are not meant to be won, but to be resolved.

Relationships, especially those that have to do with the fundamental resources that sustain us, will be pushed to be reborn or end. This includes on a geopolitical scale as well as your personal relationships. Mutually beneficial relationships could have a fresh start, due to the presence of Ceres conjunct to the New Moon. This is why I mentioned in my May article about building community gardens and pantries. However, there is a star that can cause havoc, especially for those who prefer a selfish stance within their partnerships.

Algol is probably one of the most feared Behenian fixed stars. When I tell clients that they have Algol in their chart, their eyes widen and worry crosses their face. It is important to know though that there is nothing to fear about Algol, because when you go past the darkness of this star, it becomes the gateway to all that is spiritual. However, there are some, who have this star in their chart, that linger in the negative instead of moving through this energy to the other side of it.

This passionate star is part of the constellation of Perseus and is known as the head of the beast. This is a dual star which changes in brightness, and has lore throughout historical cultures. The more one digs into this star, we realize how complex and powerful it is. Associated with both violence and artistry, this star can sound like a contradiction, but that desire to create is the same energy of destruction. It is the act of change, the catalyst to take what is inside and push it into existence.

With Algol’s conjunction to the Taurus New Moon, we could see some loss or personal tragedies in the world, which with current events, is expected. But when we push through and go beyond destruction and violence, this dynamic can lead to standing at the threshold of change. It can inspire humanity to link together, to attach ourselves to a joint cause that aligns with social consciousness.

Since New Moons are both endings and beginnings, and with Algol, there could be rumblings of a passionate desire to change the current script. But, with this energy in the sign of the bull, willfulness and stubbornness is present. The lesson here is to learn to break out of your comfort zone, instead of letting the melancholy sadness of the world take over.

Yes, there is a chance of some tragedies happening around this New Moon. Considering Algol is conjunct to the US president’s Midheaven as well as the chart of Iran, and conjunct to Israel’s Sun, there could be renewed attacks or violence. However, there is more to the story than Algol and the New Moon. Ideally, if we leaned into the nurturing energy of the Moon and Ceres, we could find harmonious resolutions.

Another mundane note is that Mars is in an exact conjunction to Chiron during the New Moon, in the fiery, warrior sign of Aries. When I look at the charts of Iran, Israel, the US and other pertinent charts, it does appear that tensions and conflicts will escalate. There are opportunities though for the US to take the higher road, but due to pride and hidden agendas, this likelihood for peace talks is slim, but not impossible.

Uranus, in the sign of Gemini, is six degrees from the New Moon. Uranus is the wild card, and with its applying trine to Pluto in Aquarius, we could see people coming together for a common cause. However, Uranus can bring on rash emotional behavior with its proximity to the Moon and a hostility towards any authoritative restriction due to its orb of influence to the Sun.

Needless to say, on the world stage, this is an intense New Moon. However, this doesn’t mean it isn’t a productive New Moon for you. When tensions are high, it can motivate us to make changes and get our long list of tasks completed. The key here is not to let fear cloud your judgement or paralyze you.

Instead, have productive conversations. Though we may be more inclined to talk than listen, due to Mercury’s conjunction with the New Moon, it is important to put yourself into the perspective of the other party. Self-involvement is not going to do anyone good.

Though Mercury is fixed, Uranus is in an out of sign conjunction with it and the New Moon. There is a desire to shake things up, to go against the grain and say something that catches the other person off-guard. Though the Moon conjunct to Mercury makes it easier to discuss feelings, Uranus and Algol can be mischievous if not devious. No one during this weekend will want to be told what to do, regardless of the nature of your relationship.

The best way to handle this time period is to think of communication as an act of discovery and understanding instead of trying to get your way in a situation. Try your best not to make hasty decisions or judgments. If conversations sour on the 16th, pick them back up on the 18th or 19th, when the energy of the New Moon is no longer entangled with Algol and Uranus.

So you may be asking yourself, what is good about this New Moon? Actually, there are a lot of good things about this New Moon, especially if we widen our perspective.

For instance, there is a mutual reception happening with Mercury in Taurus and Venus in Gemini. Each planet is a dispositor for the other, which can help with communication. This is one of the many reasons why relationships take center stage during the New Moon. Counsel with those who are more aligned with feminine energy is beneficial.

Venus and Mars are sextile to each other, balancing the ability to stand on your own ground while relating to the other person’s perspective. With Jupiter in Cancer sextile to Ceres in Taurus, what everyone is craving right now is nurturance and love. Comprehending that we are all on edge, feeling the uncertainty of resources, governments, and finances can go a long way when having conversations or negotiations.

Regardless of what is happening in your personal life, the one thing we can all do is be part of a community. With Neptune co-present to Saturn, the reality is that our past structures are being worn away. Building new communities, ones that can provide support and needs, is one of the best ways to embrace this New Moon. In essence, discussion leads to the knowledge that we are all in this together.

Taurus’ ruler is Venus, and together we recognize the gifts from Earth and nature in peak bloom. In its idealistic state it can be romantic, sensual and comforting.

But this May starts off differently than my imaginary muse. Venus is in Gemini, and instead of relishing the comforts around her, she’s got questions. Serious questions. She wants to know what direction the world is headed. Curious, she questions who is responsible for the mess and who is going to take ownership and clean it up. She’s looking for insights, something that comes from deeper knowledge, and a passion to change the dynamics around her.

As we get acquainted with the new month and the changing astrology, let’s look at some of the primary planetary ingresses and Full and New Moons. You may notice that we do have two Full Moons this month. The second Full Moon is considered a Blue Moon, which is when you have two Full Moons within one month. However, according to the Farmer’s Almanac, it is considered a micromoon, happening the day before the moon’s apogee on June 1. The apogee is the moon’s furthest distance from Earth, making the moon appear smaller and not as bright.

May 1st through May 9th:

We start the month off with a Full Moon in the sign of Scorpio. This can be an introspective Full Moon, and may cause intense emotions during the process. However, since it is in the sign of Scorpio, the modus operandi is to shine a spotlight on root causes; going deeper than you’ve gone before.

For those with a Taurus or Scorpio Rising sign, you could get some clarity and insight in regards to the past seven years. With Uranus no longer in your sign (or in opposition,) you may find yourself reflecting on how much in your life has changed. You’ve had quite a few upsets and the occasional pleasant surprise. You may have learned that being overly stubborn, obsessive or fixated did not work in your favor, and you could realize the reasons why during this Full Moon.

On the second, Mercury enters the sign of Taurus. When Mercury is in Taurus, we think about practical matters, such as the price of gasoline and how to use our resources sustainably. But we are also tempted by the creature comforts that make life enjoyable. The pace slows slightly, as some look forward to summer vacations or the upcoming late spring and summer holidays.

Mercury will also be in an applying square to Pluto, so be careful with obsessive thoughts or trying to push your view onto others. Pluto goes to extremes, but is best when it helps us to transform and grow our perspective instead of camping out in a fixed dynamic. However, with both Taurus and Aquarius being fixed signs, your interactions and debates with others may be about butting heads rather than exploring each other’s perspective.

Almost anything can happen with Mars squaring Jupiter. This square is exact on the 4th, and yeah, you just may feel that the “fourth is with you!” since optimism is the driving force. This is great energy to push through projects, just be careful not to get lost in belief of what can be and instead, have a clear direction with the work you are doing. You may be tempted to go past your limitations, but keep in mind, that could lead to burnout.

As we get to Friday the 8th, Mercury is applying a conjunction with the Sun. Communication generally quickens during these times, however, most of the communication will be on more practical matters. This is the type of energy where you could receive an email about water conservation or some other daily event, like trash pick-up, or a text from a loved one on picking up something from the store.

This could be a good time for conversations about relationships. Venus and Mars are sextile to each other, where each party can stand their own ground without offending the other person. Just be careful of talking so much about your personal story without listening.

May 10th through May 16th:

On the 14th, we have the Sun-Mercury cazimi at 23°48’ in the sign of Taurus. Ceres, the dwarf planet that signifies the mother, nurturing, food, grain, productivity and gardening, is conjunct the Sun-Mercury cazimi.

This conjunction often gives clarity and allows for a shift in perspective. For instance, if you have been feeling insecure about your own security and well-being, it may occur to you at this time that you are not the only one with these feelings. This could inspire you to grow microgreens or plant a garden, join a cooperative, or rally your neighbors to do bulk shopping together to save money. Not only are you thinking about your own nurturance but those of others. This powerful moment brightens the desire to be part of the village, working in unison for the betterment of all.

From the 14th through the 16th, you could be having some surprising breakthroughs in your relationships. With the Aries Moon, Mars and Chiron in conjunction, old wounds may bubble up, but instead of feeling the pain, you want to take action. With Mars in sextile to Venus, you are able to balance between self-assertion and love and affection. What this means is that you can tackle the situation without caving or sweeping the situation under the rug, especially if the conversation is a carry over from last week.

Where the breakthrough happens is communication. Mercury is in the final degrees of Taurus, perched between the Sun and Uranus in Gemini. During the conversation, you may have epiphanies and can see the situation from multiple vantage points. Not only can this bring understanding between you and those you care about, but you could realize that there are three viewpoints to most situations: yours, theirs and the truth. The ironic but wonderful part of this is that the truth takes into account that what we and others feel is just as important as the factual information.

On the 16th, we have the New Moon in Taurus. This could be a surprising and disruptive New Moon. Before you continue reading, I want to give you a heads up that I am about to discuss the worst case scenario. If you have a difficult time with taking in information like this, you may want to skip ahead to next week, since I will be discussing mundane astrology, specifically finances and resources.

Algol is one of the most powerful stars. Its orb of influence is 2°10’. During the New Moon, the Sun and Moon will be at 25°57’. Algol is at 26°31’, putting the New Moon just slightly over half a degree away from Algol. Ceres is at 25°0’, which is also within the orb of Algol.

Algol can bring on misfortune, violence, crisis or fires. It is often associated with the heads of state.

The New Moon occurs in the 8th house when I set the time for Washington, DC. The 8th house in mundane astrology is associated with financial relations with other countries. When I put the transit wheel to the US Sibley chart, the New Moon occurs in the 6th house, which is associated with the workers, including those in the army and navy.

Combining the above with the Aries Ingress chart for the United States, where the South Node is in the 4th house, indicating a drain or lack of workers on the land, the United States could have issues when it comes to certain resources.

Mars and Chiron are conjunct in the sign of Aries on the New Moon. The last time we had Chiron in Aries was during the 70s, which included the OPEC oil embargo, which led to gas shortages in the United States. Being a relatively young country, we can see that the last two times Chiron was in Aries, there was high inflation.

Before I elaborate further, I want to say that all things are temporary. I lived through the 70s, and my father worked at a gas station back then. People carpooled and drove only when needed. We learned to conserve resources.

With this New Moon in Taurus, we may be embarking on a time period where we have to get creative with our resources. This doesn’t mean we go without, but we may need to find ways to make things last, use less of certain items and not take for granted that everything will be on the shelves. Prices of items will continue to increase. We went through a similar scenario during the pandemic; it was a precursor, so it is not like we don’t know how to adjust.

With that said, I beg you not to hoard. Hoarding causes waste. Yes, prices will continue to rise. However, we have Ceres in the mix here, the feminine energy of taking something small like a seed and giving it the support it needs to grow. This is why I have mentioned on occasion to buy things like beans and seeds. When it comes to scraps, save them in the freezer to make broths. Replant vegetables when you can.

May 17th through May 23rd:

On the 17th, Mars enters the 29th degree and makes an applying square to Pluto in Aquarius. This transit tends to cause power struggles. If this transit doesn’t impact your own chart, just know that at work for the next two weeks, you may experience leaders butting heads, or an overemphasis of being strict about certain rules. As Mars moves into the sign of Taurus on the 18th, trying to change the direction of others may temporarily put your relationship at an impasse.

Mars is in its detriment when in Taurus. Taurus appreciates comfort, it is stable, practical and has a tendency to be stubborn. Mars is about initiative and assertiveness. It won’t be until June 28th when Mars enters Gemini. You could find people using the phrase “We’ve always done it this way,” but luckily we have other planets that can help Mars move things along.

The light here is Venus. Venus ingresses into the sign of Cancer just hours after Mars dives into Taurus. The sextile between the two can help with negotiations, without sacrificing your own interests. Diplomacy can work as long as the parties involved allow for some wiggle room. In relationships, being slow and methodical will have more success than just bulldozing with your own agenda. With Mercury in Gemini in trine to Pluto in Aquarius, the ability to get to the root cause of deep issues is possible.

On the 20th, we start Gemini season as the Sun enters the sign ruled by Mercury. On the 22nd, the Sun and Uranus will perfect their conjunction. Expect news to fly fast during these few days. This time period will be anything but dull. There is a good chance that the news will showcase accidents or issues with authority figures or people pushing against their leaders.

Since the breaking news happens at a quickened pace, there could be varying points of view and it could be hard to determine what is factual and what is conjecture. There could be a battling of wits between leaders (either of state or companies) who are in opposition or competitive with each other. One could talk with might while the other pokes fun at the absurdity. There is a duality that occurs in conversation, usually a serious tone combined with wit.

However, there is a chance of diplomacy, with Mercury in sextile to Saturn, each at 11°. Past experience is respected, and a critical eye can determine what needs to change. This is a practical sextile, and hopefully some of our leaders will lean into this energy (though I personally would not hold my breath, especially with the Mars-Pluto square.)

May 24th through May 31st:

On the evening of the 25th, Mars and Pluto make an exact square. Keep in mind, it is usually the days leading up to when the aspect perfects where we see the most activity. We experience this square about once a year.

The Mars-Pluto square is about tension and a battle of wills. I tend to think of it as two toddlers fighting over a toy, determined to get the item just because the other person has their hands on it. Essentially, it’s a power struggle of ego more so than about the end result. Thus, it can lead to rash actions as well as violence. Hopefully the energy of these two planets wanes enough before the Full Moon.

The Sagittarius Full Moon happens on the 31st. Everything from national wealth, the justice system, inquests, religion and law will be exposed or highlighted.

Aldebaran tightly conjuncts the Sun and Antares tightly conjuncts the Moon. These are two of the four Persian Royal Stars. Aldebaran, Watcher of the East, is associated with courage, power and honor, and Antares, Watcher of the West, is associated with authority, headstrong determination and hard work, among other things. Fixed stars add an additional punch to a placement.

Belief is strong with this Sagittarius Full Moon, especially when it comes to conflict and aggression. Unfortunately, there is a possibility of an escalation around the Full Moon. This Full Moon conjuncts the US Sibley chart’s natal Uranus and is conjunct the Islamic Republic of Iran natal Moon. Since Uranus is heavily involved in the US chart, they could be the wildcard and determine the direction: be it peace talks, an agreement, an escalation or something else.

Personally though, this can be an inspiring Full Moon. With the Moon trine to Saturn, there is a serious, contemplative tone with the ability to both reflect and keep emotions under control. With the supportive sextile to the Sun, you can execute plans to completion.

Scorpio Moons can be intense, since they tend to highlight what we keep hidden from ourselves. The degree of this Moon is 11 degrees and 20 minutes, so check your chart to see what placements are within 10 degrees of the Full Moon in the signs of Taurus or Scorpio. These placements can give an extra emphasis. For instance, if your Mercury is at 8 degrees Scorpio, you may spend this time intellectually sorting through your emotions. However, if your Neptune is at 19 degrees, you could escape into fantasizing about the past or dreaming of the future.

We will experience its exact degree at 12:23 PM CDT on May 1st, which falls on a Friday.

When we have a Full Moon, there is tension. It feels like we are being pulled in two different directions. The polarity here has to do with possessions and possessiveness. You could feel compelled to hold on to certain people or items during the Full Moon, but pruning what is holding you back may serve you better. Activities like cleaning out closets or reviewing your role in relationships could be illuminating during this Full Moon. There is also a pull between wanting to merge with others and retreating into your own inner world.

With the Moon in trine to Jupiter in Cancer, you may feel nostalgic and maternal during the Full Moon. This aspect brings out generosity, so if you did decide to clean out your closets, you may be inclined to donate some items. Jupiter aids in focusing on the well-being of others, and our beliefs color how we engage with this Full Moon energy. We could decide to do something that uplifts people or aids in social reform or charity.

During this day, Venus in Gemini is sextile to Saturn in Aries. This supportive aspect tends to focus on our responsibilities within our relationships. However, with Saturn in Aries, we may be a little naive, convincing ourselves that we do everything or that the other person doesn’t contribute. With the Moon in Scorpio, which is in its debility, we could take on the martyr role. However, if we lean into seeking truth, by asking ourselves the tough questions, we may shift our perspective, and gain deeper insight into not only what we bring to the table, but how we emotionally feel about our duties. Maybe we took on roles that were arbitrary instead of something that is truly required.

And these insights are aided by the Venus trine to Pluto in Aquarius. Sometimes, we want to express love through intensity. However, the air signs of Gemini and Aquarius can intellectualize our relationships. This doesn’t mean that they are less intense, but there is the added dimension of thought with feelings. With the Full Moon in Scorpio, you could be examining the root causes in society that keep us apart and tap into the desire for connection.

With Mars in Aries conjunct Saturn, these two planets create a slow burn. The good news is that they are in separation, and the impact of this conjunction dissipates around bedtime. If little things that others do have been irritating you, you could wake up the next day no longer feeling the agitation of these two planets.

With Mars applying a square to Jupiter, you could be more aware of opportunities, exploring projects or, in a rare case, bump into a new prosperous endeavor out of sheer luck. With Mars in its domicile and Jupiter in its exaltation, the key here is to take quick action. If someone mentions a new job, promotion or business venture to you, don’t brush it off. This resonates most for those with Cardinal rising signs: Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn.

There is still a sense of malaise due to the Saturn-Neptune conjunction in Aries. The good news is that the conjunction is separating, and by the end of May, these two planets will continue to be co-present but no longer in conjunction, and with that, the feeling of self-doubt begins to wane.

What Saturn is teaching us is perseverance and prudence. We are not meant to do everything, and knowing what our limits are helps us to retain our energy and equilibrium. But at the same time, you don’t want to sidestep your goals, be unproductive or neglect opportunities. With Jupiter in exaltation and Saturn in fall, it is about finding the middle ground without losing perspective.

And this takes us back to the Scorpio Full Moon. This is a moon of urges, of desire, of wanting to merge with others and be fully committed. But this moon is aware that when you burn yourself out, and don’t take the time to be introspective, you can lose sight of your deepest motivations and the root of any issues you are experiencing.

This is a complex Moon, but it doesn’t need to be. Take the time on this day to write down your priorities, and a list of what is holding you back. You may find that some of these obstacles are your own making, and that is the big reveal.

Considering the ongoing Epstein files, I find it ironic that during the Aries new moon in 1998, the Food and Drug Administration approved the use of Viagra for erectile dysfunction. Bill Clinton was president of the United States and embroiled in sexual scandals, including the lawsuit of Paula Jones. Later that year, in September, Trump met Melania. Melania recently brought up the Epstein files in her brief press conference at the White House, reawakening attention to this matter.

But this new moon differs from the one in 1998. Even if some of the same characters are dominating politics and our news cycle, Chiron and Neptune give us personal insight into selfish and hedonistic actions. After Neptune’s journey through Pisces, when concealment was easier, we emerged with the ability to scrutinize, and are claiming back some of our boundaries with Neptune now in Aries (Neptune still blurs the lines, but it is not as murky as it was in Pisces.) Though it may still be difficult to determine the complete truth, the act of disguise is harder now, as information continues to spread rapidly.

In 1998, Chiron was in Scorpio, a sign ruled by Mars, and was square Venus, creating a vulnerability, especially for women. Now, Chiron is in Aries, also ruled by Mars, conjunct the new moon, allowing for healing, a fresh start, and a rediscovery of self. In 1998, just like now, sexual scandals dominated the news cycle. While 1998 brought a drug expanding options for men, the years since have seen women’s healthcare options narrow.

Though this new moon harkens to the past, it is a moon of moving forward, with calculated risks and motivation to tap into your hopes and dreams. Aries is the sign of self-generated action. It is not about waiting for permission or getting consensus from others. It is energy filled with adrenaline, the feeling you get at the start of a race, waiting for the starter to yell, ready, set, go!

As you push off and run, you push through the pain, finding the drive and motivation to access the pioneering spirit within. This is why this is an opportune new moon to start projects and take the lead in getting what you want.

But this new moon is not just about racing without responsibility or duty. We can’t talk about it without discussing the Saturn, Mars, Mercury and Neptune conjunction that is sextile to Pluto in Aquarius, the sign of collective progress through individual action.

When Mercury is in Aries, we quicken our pace, speak before we think, and don’t always listen or read everything thoroughly. When Mercury is conjunct Mars, the mind turns competitive and the tongue turns sharp. Add Neptune to that conjunction and the temptation grows to sidestep confrontation, blur the truth, or reframe reality to avoid accountability. Saturn in the mix can turn that energy cynical, pointing out the flaws in others rather than accepting our own insecurities.

At its most agitated, this configuration produces noise. Those who are unaware of the energy may find themselves drawn into pointless debates, keyboard conflicts, or the kind of combative back-and-forth that is useless and self-serving.

I said earlier that this is a powerful new moon, so why am I mentioning discord? It is because the energy above is just one side of the same coin. There is another side that allows for profound transformation in your life. Since you are aware of the possible negativity, you can navigate around it, flipping to the other side of the dynamic.

The sextile to Pluto offers the ability to tackle serious matters and arrive at real solutions. This is not energy that benefits from crowdsourcing or open debate. It rewards solitary work, trust in your own instincts, and the willingness to tune out voices that have no stake in your outcome. You may not find much external support under this new moon, but instead you will be able to hear your own inner voice loud and clear.

That Pluto sextile also gives you the ability to find your own solutions. This doesn’t mean you can’t welcome assistance, but that you seek guidance rather than hand over control. You can change your course through Mars, as long as you have a clear objective. With Saturn, you can narrow in on your goal and take purposeful, disciplined action. Pluto moves slowly, and so does real transformation. The key is patience and dedication.

Since Uranus is in Taurus at the 29th degree, there is a sense of urgency. With the sextile to Neptune and Mercury, you may feel like this is your last chance to build something practical and sustainable. Neptune activates your idealism, and the Mercury-Uranus sextile opens you up to new concepts, so you can tackle old problems with innovation and fresh ideas.

To make the most of this new moon, embrace change and choose communication that builds bridges rather than walls. Use this energy to construct something magnificent. It will take diligence, work and commitment, but enterprising Aries knows how to charge ahead and clear the path.

The South Node is in an inconjunct with Saturn, an awkward reminder that breaking from the past is possible, but it will take discipline and ambition. Jupiter, exalted in Cancer, is not pulling on the Aries stellium this lunation, but it is available. Leaning into optimism and trusting in a larger sense of abundance can carry you further than you might expect.

Though we know that Martian energy can stir conflict, I would be remiss not to offer a fair warning. With Venus applying a conjunction to Uranus, there can be disruptions or changes in your finances or relationships over the next week. You may decide to leave a situation that is no longer working for you. Separations can happen, but so can reconciliations, as long as you keep your cool.

Uranus is indiscriminate. Though it can easily produce chaos, it can also unveil pleasant surprises. A spontaneous commitment or a piece of unexpected good news can arrive when you least expect it.

As I circle back to the Aries new moon, Chiron’s conjunction can stir up old wounds. However, you may find that you’ve already done the healing, and that realization can make you feel unstoppable. You may find deep satisfaction in knowing that you took that pain and turned it into something meaningful, becoming a source of support or understanding for someone in a difficult predicament.

But maybe you are not quite there yet. If you feel that Martian anger toward any past perpetrators, use it to kick yourself into high gear. Have an “I’ll show them” attitude instead of a “woe is me.” That is empowerment. It is ok to be sad and feel pain. But eventually, we need to stop lingering in what was, brush ourselves off, pick up the pieces and charge ahead.

I changed my mind. You may be wondering why, since Vance is not taking up much space in the media. But there is a running narrative that has not sat well with me when it comes to Vance, which is that he would be worse than Trump. Since Vance has been a chameleon over the years, I am a little betwixt on how his reputation could be a more extreme version of what is currently happening, considering his willingness to fade into the background. I get it, his association with Peter Thiel and Elon Musk is disturbing. His quietness mixed with some inappropriate forcefulness, such as when he condemned Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy for not wearing a suit, was a stunt at best and uncouth at its worst.

However, before I begin a dive into Vance, I present you with some logistics. With a Rodden Rating of AA (official records verified), JD Vance was born on August 2nd, 1984 at 8:11 AM in Middletown, Ohio, USA. He was born with the name James Donald Bowman. He was adopted by his mother’s third husband and went by the name James Donald Hamel, and then in 2013, his name changed a third time to his mother’s maiden name, James David Vance, thus keeping the moniker of JD.

Vance’s ascendant is in Leo at 27°45’, which makes his Sun not only his chart ruler but also in its domicile. Those with a Leo ascendant tend to have a desire to leave their mark on the world. Exploring his aspects can give us insight into how his planetary placements and chart angles shape who he is.

Vance’s Natal Chart Aspects

Sun in Leo Square Saturn in Scorpio and the Sun Trine Uranus in Sagittarius

The luminary of self expression is hammered with learning what his true responsibilities are compared to what makes him feel gratified. It is a constant battle for him to balance, but with age and progressions, this energy wanes. However, through his life, real or imaginary, Vance may feel like others are blocking his ambitions, and whether he expresses it or not, he has tensions with authority figures.

This aspect in his chart is about learning who he is and what he needs to do to gain confidence. This could tie into his name changes through adoption and his own initiative.

Though his Sun deals with the tension of Saturn, Uranus helps him to explore new activities. He has an ability to put pieces together and perceive how areas of his life are intertwined, leading him to learn more about who he is. With Uranus trine to his Sun, his interest and work with technology is displayed with this aspect. He may also have an interest in science, and there is a possibility that he could explore astrology, due to pattern recognition.

He is not someone who would like routine, especially when it comes to 5th house themes. Freedom and adventure are key for recreation and play.

Moon in Libra Sextile to Venus in Leo

Vance only has one major aspect with his Moon, and it’s a good one to have. His Venus works in a supportive fashion to his Moon, where he truly enjoys being with friends and loved ones. Relationships hold value and reward for him, and he may enjoy entertaining people in his home (though with Venus in Leo, he does relish the attention he gets when he hosts.)

The Moon in Libra craves harmonious communication with its third house placement, and with Venus in the first, he enjoys when others take care of him. There is a tendency to be self-indulgent, whether that is with attention or food, something for him to pay attention to.

With his Mercury trine Jupiter, Vance’s studies in law and business align with this aspect. He tends to think of the big picture while making plans for the future. When Venus is conjunct the AC, there is a propensity for finding financial success. As of 2026, his net worth is estimated to be around $12 million, due to his investments, real estate holdings and royalties from his book, Hillbilly Elegy.

When Venus is conjunct the ascendant, there tends to be a natural charm, where the native can attract love and affection through how they express themselves. They tend to be good at entertaining those in their inner circles, making others feel appreciated. Though with the influence of Leo here, they may “hold court” with their admirers, which can play out through the Midheaven.

With Venus square the MC, there is a propensity to be self-involved or to demand more love than what is given to others. This can play out like a “Jerry Maguire” moment, where Vance may feel he needs certain relationships to “complete” him, thus leading to a possibility of possessiveness or jealousy.

With Mars in Scorpio square Venus, Vance most likely has a strong interest in the physicality of intimate relationships and holds it in high regard. However, his ego, especially with Mars being part of a T-square with the MC, can cause issues with his relationships, particularly those of a romantic nature.

Yet, ideally, he does desire a harmonious and easy relationship but may find difficulty balancing his self-assertion. He also, like some with this aspect, may lack some discrimination with sexual partners. This does not mean that he would necessarily stray from a committed relationship, but prior to one, may have had less discernment.

With Venus trine Neptune, Vance may have beneficial daydreams that result in creative pursuits. He has the capability to have compassion for others and the ability to put himself in the minds of others to gain understanding.

However, with Neptune in Sagittarius, he may have a distorted view on what freedom means within relationships, such as what is good for the goose is not good for the gander. He will crave a spiritual relationship, though he can easily get lost in the fog within that type of connection.

Mars in Scorpio in Opposition to the MC in Taurus

At times, he will have difficulty getting ahead, especially when he is defensive, argumentative or attempting to assert himself. The more peaceful his home life is, the less likely he is to lash out in the public sphere or while handling issues of his career.

This is one area that can cause issues, even though Mars is in its traditional domicile and exaltation. The 4th house placement of Mars can be contentious. If there is conflict at home, his external reactions to situations could feel out of step, such as bravado or anger with no purpose.

Jupiter in Capricorn in an Out of Sign Conjunction with Neptune in Sagittarius, Trine AC and Sextile to Pluto in Libra

When Jupiter is the dispositor of Neptune in the zodiac sign of Sagittarius, there is a tendency to emphasize beliefs more than facts. However, this is an aspect where the native tends to have compassion and an interest in spiritual, religious or broad philosophies.

Vance may develop a false sense of happiness based on following specific ideals, kind of like a “fake it until you make it” mantra. He may not realize the motions he is going through and think everything is fine.

With Neptune in the 5th house, taking risks such as gambling can happen due to the belief that everything will work out, since Jupiter can apply optimism even when the resources are not there.

The setup here with Jupiter sextile Pluto allows for creative changes throughout his life. Vance has redefined himself often, working in law, tech, writing and politics.

Jupiter-Pluto sextiles can help someone gain power over others. However, it is important that if they do so, they focus on helping humanity, otherwise, if done in only self-interest, their efforts could backfire. Vance probably has high ideals and may have a deeper understanding of life. He could go through a spiritual rebirth in his lifetime.

With Jupiter trine the AC, he tends to be naturally optimistic and is often in a good mood. He wants to understand the world through a big-picture spiritual lens and could gain emotional happiness through relationships.

Neptune in Sagittarius and Pluto in Libra at 29 Degrees, Aspects to the AC in Leo

With two of the outer planets at the 29th degree and Vance’s position of power, it is as if he may be closing the chapter on one door and opening the next for society. This does not mean he is a “savior” or a “big baddie,” but for his life, there are opportunities for learning personal lessons and transformative growth, due to a sense of urgency where internally he may feel like he needs to get this life “right.”

Since Neptune is trine his AC, he has the capability to be sensitive to the feelings of others and is aware of the attributes of those around him. However, he can idealize other people and put them on a pedestal, especially if they share the same beliefs as him, such as freedom, justice or taking risks.

Pluto can bring positive changes and opportunities to Vance throughout his life due to the sextile with the AC. This aspect supports him being a leader among his friends and any social group affiliation. Some of his relationships will be both intense and transformative.

His long range goals may, and most likely have, changed a few times throughout his life. The shifting goals and his experiences aid him in living life more abundantly.

North Node in Gemini in the 11th House

Vance’s North Node is at 4°10’ and is in aspect to his Ascendant, Mercury and Uranus. With the North Node square his Mercury, his words, writing and the way he thinks will be scrutinized. With the square to the Ascendant, his communication will be most relevant to those in his close circle.

In opposition to Uranus, there will be times where Vance will speak out of turn, say things that will shock or disrupt others, and his speeches may not land as intended. However, there is a capability for some surprising breakthroughs. His mission is to collect data and be the orator of information.

Ideally, Vance will learn tact, which is something that some with the North Node in Gemini struggle with in youth. Gemini North Nodes are here to see both sides of a situation, as opposed to charging forth with unbridled belief. Ideally, his communication is about lifting up others while addressing dichotomies. He communicates best through non-threatening language. Learning to listen and be open to new ideas and experiences is crucial for the Gemini North Node.

Where he can and will falter is in taking a self-righteous approach or being detached and aloof. Echo chambers are not good for him, nor is judgment.

With the 11th house placement, learning objectivity is key for his growth, especially if he champions humanitarian causes. He is here to understand how each individual person is special, regardless of their associated group. Finding win-win solutions is what can endear him to the populace.

Ideally, he is learning to push away from a need to take charge and gain control, something that his South Node in the 5th house desires. He may entertain actions in order to gain respect from others instead of acting from a place of honesty in order to be accepted.

Fixed Stars Regulus and Antares

Vance has two of the four Royal Stars in his chart, which can be an indicator of power or leadership, especially with Regulus. Though I tend to use tighter conjunctions with fixed stars, I am using the traditional orb of influence for each star listed.

Regulus at 29°26’ Conjunct AC at 27°45’ in Leo (Accepted orb for Regulus is 2°30’)

Vance’s Regulus conjunction is 1°41’, making it within the orb of influence. Regulus is associated with power, prominence and success. Known for having “king-like” qualities, this star has potential for achievement and leadership.

Though this star can be a blessing, it also has a heaviness to it. If the native with this star focuses on vengeance, it can lead to their fall. Essentially, if you retaliate against your opponents or naysayers, what is gained through life can be lost, usually in a dramatic fashion.

The other aspects that the Ascendant makes in his chart will show Vance’s potential. With Venus, Mercury, the North Node, Pluto, Neptune and Jupiter all making aspects to his Ascendant, Vance has the potential to do good with this placement, if he so chooses. The way for him to do so is to be aware of his soul’s mission and align it with the good of others, transforming disharmonious situations.

Now, you may have heard that Trump also has his Ascendant conjunct Regulus, and that is correct. But unlike Vance, who has two beneficial planets making aspects to his Ascendant, Trump has Mars conjunct Regulus. Trump leans into retaliation and revenge, something that will always tarnish his legacy.

Antares at 9°32’ Conjunct Uranus at 9°38’ in Sagittarius (Accepted orb for Antares is 2°40’)

Antares is the star of extremes. Success with this star comes from experience and effort. To make Antares work, the key is to not revel in drama but instead to draw on past knowledge and lived experiences rather than disruption.

Yet, Vance has this star conjunct Uranus, the planet of disruption. Could Vance change course unexpectedly based on honing in on what the populace wants? There is a possibility, but there also are surprises that could come out in either his role or his marriage.

Will Vance Become President and If So, When?

The one thing everyone seems to want to know is when Trump will no longer be president. Instead, I am going to see if there are indicators that Vance could have a shift in his life, where he may gain more power, influence or recognition, while also looking at Trump and his most loyal cabinet member, Stephen Miller. Stepping up into the presidency is never a sure thing, and predictive work is complex.

The reason I am tackling this now is due to Trump’s health, rumors of trips to Walter Reed, the escalation of war with Iran, and popular pundits who now seem to be turning on Trump. Many astrologers, mediums and some medical personnel are weighing in on how long Trump will remain in office.

One astrologer who I hold in high regard does think that Trump will not be president past April. He is using a recurrence transit concept applied to two of Trump’s cabinet members, one being Vance. Though this technique may have validity, I am not 100% convinced that Trump will be out of office by the end of April, but this recurrence transit could be one of the triggers for upcoming change.

Unless death occurs with Trump, a shift in the presidency may take a little longer than some would like to predict. I can tell you this from a non-astrological perspective: recently when I tap into Trump’s energy, my forehead feels as if it is filling up with fluid and there is pressure. I am assuming this is a brain bleed, which does not necessarily mean death.

Intuitively, I see something like the 1993 movie Dave happening, where the president may be ill before any official change in leadership occurs. Since the country has never invoked the 25th Amendment, we have no context on how long a process like this would take. With the divide of public sentiment, if something like this were to happen, it may not be a swift undertaking.

In the movie Dave, in case you have not seen it, two of the president’s cabinet members hid what was going on with the president’s failing health. Miller may choose to contain the situation, labeling Trump’s health as a temporary decline. Miller is in power due to his relationship with Trump. Without Trump, Miller’s influence subsides, since he is someone who works best behind the scenes.

Back in December 2025, I made a Reddit post stating that the eclipses in August would open a window for an exchange of power and that Trump’s authority would wane. With that said, I decided to dive deeper into Vance, Trump and Miller’s astrology to see if what I said prior still holds up, with a focus on what is transpiring with the August eclipses. Below is not a complete rundown of all of their transits and placements, but instead an overview of what I found noteworthy.

JD Vance’s Charts

As Vice President, and based on the US Constitution, it makes sense that if Trump could not fulfill his duties, the role of presidency would fall to Vance. With that said, I decided to look at his Solar Arcs, progressed chart and transits.

Solar Arc (SA) with Natal Bi-Wheel

Vance’s SA Pluto in Sagittarius is trine his natal Sun in Leo at 22 minutes orb on August 12th, the day of the Solar Eclipse in Leo. This is essentially an exact aspect, allowing for a flow of power to him.

The SA Sun in Virgo is trine his natal MC in Taurus in the 10th house. This is a separating aspect by a little over 1 degree, showing that the process of changing roles was already activated and closing around the time of the eclipse. Symbolically, it is as if he is being called to service based on values, with Virgo in the second house, to lead and create comfort, safety and security with Taurus in the 10th house.

August Transits to Natal Chart

Regardless of whether Vance becomes president around this time, the transits are positive for him. Transiting Jupiter and Mercury are conjunct his natal Sun in Leo, and the conjunction with Jupiter is exact August 15-16. Jupiter conjunct the Sun in the first house expands personal presence, and this conjunction is sandwiched between the two eclipses in August.

The solar eclipse, which indicates beginnings and endings, is significant with its conjunction to his natal Venus in Leo within 3 degrees, applying to his Ascendant. It could symbolize a call to harmonious but strong leadership.

The lunar eclipse is an accumulation of energy. During the lunar eclipse on August 27/28, Vance has a T-square from the Sun and Moon to his natal North Node within 1 degree, and Uranus conjunct his natal North Node within 1°27’. If he is in power at this time, I could see him selecting different cabinet members, some of whom could be surprising picks.

Progressed Moon

I took a look at the progressed Moons since they can show the emotional backdrop of events. Just like the natal transits and Solar Arc positions, I evaluated what was happening in August.

In the progressed chart, Vance’s Moon in Aries is in the 7th house, applying a grand trine with his progressed Jupiter in Capricorn in the 4th house and Mercury in Virgo in the 12th house. It seems as if he may be emotionally ready to build foreign and domestic relationships while keeping the country prosperous, but may not disclose everything he is doing to be of service to the country.

With the progressed Aries Moon in opposition to Pluto in Scorpio, he will need to take calculated actions that address root causes. He has both his progressed Ascendant and Venus in Libra, which could bring hope that his goal is to explore peaceful resolutions.

Additional Astrological Observations

Vice Presidents tend to be behind the scenes and their actions are not front and center. They do not co-rule with the president. When you put Trump’s and Vance’s charts in a bi-wheel, Trump’s natal Pluto is conjunct Vance’s natal Sun within 20 minutes. The conjunction is almost exact. Trump would put effort into the suppression of Vance’s popularity, and there is a possibility that the public perception of Vance is skewed by power plays orchestrated by Trump.

However, as mentioned earlier, in Vance’s Solar Arc chart, Vance’s Sun absorbs its own power from Solar Arc Pluto, as opposed to being overshadowed by Trump’s influence.

Vance, at the moment, appears to understand internally the power of Regulus in his chart. Regulus acts best when others call for leadership, as opposed to forcing power through vengeance or warring actions. If for some reason Trump were to step down or be removed from power, it would be best for Vance to remain on the sidelines until the transition of power.

Waiting to be called can also be seen with the North Node in Gemini in the 11th house, meaning that Congress may be the entity that declares Vance the president.

The July 3rd transiting Mars-Uranus conjunction will be in Vance’s 10th house, activating his North Node. With Uranus, anything can happen, and it seems as if his path forward is activated at this time.

Donald Trump’s Charts

Does anyone even need to look at astrological charts with Trump? He is 79, in poor health and has taken three cognitive tests that are only administered when there is suspicion of decline. I must remind everyone that I am not a medical doctor and what I surmise below is based on observation and is in no way a diagnosis.

Current Transits

On April 19th, Neptune, Mercury, Mars and Saturn are in square to Trump’s natal Mercury. His mental acuity may make headlines, even among his supporters. His head and brain are vulnerable with this transit. As Mars transits through the sign of Aries, signs of his cognitive decline may become more pronounced.

The solar eclipse on August 12th is conjunct Trump’s natal Mars and square his natal MC. This is a tense period for Trump and a possible activation of the end of his career.

Progressed Moon

Trump’s progressed Moon in Scorpio is square his progressed Mercury in Leo, and this square is sustained from April through August. The progressed Moon maintains its square with progressed Mercury as it enters the sign of Sagittarius on July 23rd. This supports the likelihood of cognitive deterioration and emotions overtaking his thought process.

Solar Arc Directions

Trump’s SA MC is conjunct his natal Pluto within 1 degree. Due to Trump’s age and position, this can represent a transformation of his public role. With the SA MC square SA Mars, both his own actions and external forces may be shifting his public perception. He most likely will continue to lose favor except among his most ardent supporters.

Additional Chart Observations

Regulus is conjunct Trump’s AC and Mars, bringing forth the destructive qualities of this fixed Royal Star. Trump’s legacy will be known for his vengeance and retribution. Regulus promises a fall from grace when the focus is to destroy instead of build something of value.

Stephen Miller’s Charts

Even though this article is about JD Vance, I feel the need to bring Stephen Miller into the picture. He is the only person to have served under Trump in both terms, and much of Trump’s rhetoric and policies come from Miller. Trump values two things, unbridled loyalty and his own legacy. Miller offers loyalty, thus supporting that legacy.

What Miller gets in return is to run the show from behind the scenes. Generally regarded as not the most likable person, he has the ear of the most powerful person in the country.

Miller’s Chart

Miller was born on August 23rd, 1985 at 4:53 PM in Santa Monica, CA, USA. For brevity and to stay true to the subject matter, I am purposely discussing just a small portion of his chart.

He has natal Pluto conjunct his MC in Scorpio in the 11th house, sextile his Sun in Virgo in the 9th house. Like Trump and Vance, he also has Regulus in his chart, in an out of sign conjunction with his Virgo Sun.

This is someone who does best behind the scenes and is highly strategic. With the Pluto-MC conjunction, it is crucial for him to be appropriate when achieving his goals. Cheating, lying or conniving will eventually backfire on him and lead to failure. This conjunction can also represent a change in direction that is outside of one’s control, such as losing a job or position of power.

Though the Sun supports the Pluto-MC conjunction, it is conjunct Regulus. Though ambitions can be fulfilled, if done so unscrupulously, everything can come crashing down, especially if actions are taken out of hurt and anger. With Regulus in the 8th house, vengeance is done out of view, but eventually, due to the Sun, will come to light, thus facilitating a fall.

On the August 12th solar eclipse, the transiting Sun and Moon will conjunct Miller’s Mars in the 8th house and square his natal Saturn. He most likely will lose his position due to his relationship with Trump and the views that the two of them share. The South Node transiting the 8th house ties to his past actions as a reason for his removal. Essentially, his peak of power has hit a wall.

Progressed Moon

For the past year, Miller’s progressed Moon has been in opposition to Saturn, acting as a somber authority. His progressed Moon was in the sign of Taurus and Saturn is in the sign of Scorpio. The Taurus-Scorpio polarity is about possessions and possessiveness. The actions of ICE and the push toward war stem from his emotional isolation and what he feels is “owed.”

Could Events Play Out Differently?

My assessment is based on both astrology and observation. I do not know these three men or their interactions with each other except for what has been reported, which is not the whole story by any means.

I also looked at Zodiacal Releasing for all three of them, not something I usually do nor a technique I am particularly comfortable with. However, Vance shows an increase in visibility whereas Trump does not.

Eclipses bring change, and the two eclipses in August are powerful and impactful. What happens in August is inevitable, even if for some reason there is not a passing of the baton.

The Libra Ingress chart on September 22nd at 8:06 PM in Washington, DC has the MC in Capricorn in the 10th house. This is a much quieter administration than what we are experiencing now. Mercury is in the 7th house in the sign of Libra. It is as if the United States is offering an olive branch, not something that the current administration would do.

But back to the question, could things play out differently? Maybe, but it would have similar themes to what I have described. The energy is there, but free will does exist. However, if Vance keeps himself at arm’s length and does not get caught up on the wrong side of Regulus, he could be president soon, most likely by the end of this year.

One last thing I want to circle back to is Nick Dagan’s prediction that Trump will no longer be president by the end of April, based on his recurrence transits. During a client reading yesterday, and without giving detail, I did see a circumstance that involved a recurrence transit. The client had a reading with me previously where I predicted something would happen based on regular transits to the birth chart. However, the recurrence transit was not in their chart, but in the chart of the other person involved in the situation, thus making Dagan’s prediction more relevant.

Dagan was looking at both RFK and Vance’s charts, but if I look only at Vance, I could see something happening around May 9th. On this day, Mars is in a tight applying square to Trump’s natal Saturn. This square exposes internal inadequacy, expressed through anger. Any assertion or force can be blocked, especially when it comes to rash behavior. Attempts to cover up whatever was done tend to fail. With that said, April through May could be the turning point of Trump’s downfall, and though in my opinion any transfer of power happens in August, it would be difficult from this point forward for Trump to hold onto power.

At the moment, it is hard for me to fathom what RFK would have to do with Trump’s demise, nor am I stating that he is a culprit in any fashion. His role may be more symbolic. With Melania Trump’s recent press conference urging Congress to let the victims of Epstein testify, just about anything can come out into the public sphere after Uranus enters the sign of Gemini. If I were to take RFK’s chart into consideration, the recurrence transit happens between April 29th and 30th, which would solidify Dagan’s prediction. With RFK’s role as Secretary of Health and Human Services, it could be that we learn of Trump’s true health status through a leak of his medical records, thus setting the course for what I see ahead.

Like Newsom, Vance’s appeal is controversial, and we may question whether we are seeing his true persona. Unlike Newsom, Vance has an imminent possibility of filling the role of United States President if something were to happen before the 2028 election. The next several months will be interesting to watch as this saga unfolds.
