Today is National Twin Day and I’ve been a twinless twin for 10 months now. It still hurts and it’s still unfair. I feel selfish when I say that nobody hurts more than me, but it’s true. We had a bond no one else had. We knew what each other was thinking or feeling, we even finished each other’s sentences.

I wish I could turn back time and spend more of it with you. I wish I never moved out of state and was away from you for so long. I wish it was me who was gone and not you.
