For the life of me I can’t imagine why you’d curb to anybody and their bad attitude. For this week let’s make sure you stay upbeat, sunny and downright corny. It’s a week of levity, of ease of some sort. Be it having your laundry outsourced or ordering in instead of cooking, try to bring in a breeziness when usually you feel a sense of duty. This week I’m pulling from the Ghetto Tarot. A gorgeous work of art by Haitian artist Alice Smeets and a group called Atis Resistanz. It is representational of the Rider/Waite/Smith deck. Each card is a study of space and light. This deck was the first deck given to me by my friend Preeti Sethi. This was my first deck and it was the one that got me to get over my tarot issues. As summer is upon us, you are in prime space out mode. That is OKAY. Just don’t mistake it for blocked potential and knock yourself over the head for no good reason. If you do honestly think you are blocked (and anything is possible in this human form), use the space out mode that you’re in. Take in the air and listen to what you need. You have enough on your plate right now. The incoming tsumani of creativity that’s coming in needs space, not neurosis. Pay attention to everything inside your body, not around it. Also, cook for yourself. That connection between food and you is important right now.

Flora and fauna is everything for you this week. Green stuff that grows from the ground. Live in the middle of a concrete jungle? Take a moment sooner rather than later to appreciate the luxury of the things that are in front of you. Try not to be so pushy, Aqua. I know it’s not rudeness—-it’s just excited impatience and that’s okay. The seeds have been sown and now let what happens behind the scene happen. Enjoy the process. It’s a strange thing to say these days but it’s a time for hope. Not the kind that’s so big that it’s actually lying to yourself. It’s the other kind. It’s the kind of hope that imagines big creative starts, ideas you’ve never had before and actually allowing yourself for these things to take root. This week isn’t about doubting yourself. I don’t like to make broad statements on love. The energy of this is so different in readings as opposed to the movie version of romance so many are looking for.
