Britain now has an Islamic blasphemy law via the backdoor, thanks to the Government’s official definition of Islamophobia — now repackaged as “anti-Muslim hostility”.

From the start, the Free Speech Union warned that any such definition would have a chilling effect on free speech and stifle our right to criticise, debate, and mock religion in this country.

We were proved right almost immediately. Since the definition was published in March, it has been used by activists and Labour MPs to silence legitimate criticism of Islam. When the Shadow Justice Secretary, Nick Timothy, criticised a mass Muslim public prayer event in Trafalgar Square, he was branded an Islamophobe, reported to the Parliamentary Commissioner for Standards, and even faced calls to resign from the then Prime Minister, Sir Keir Starmer.

The Labour Government did not consult Parliament about its plans to revive Britain’s blasphemy laws for Islam alone. At the start of the year, the Free Speech Union exposed that all five members of the Working Group tasked by Angela Rayner to draft the Islamophobia definition had troubling links to Islamist organisations. These include the Muslim Council of Britain and MEND, both of which are subject to a government policy of non-engagement over concerns about extremism.

What is even more concerning is that it is almost certain extremists were able to influence the drafting of the definition. If that is not alarming enough, Nick Timothy’s Freedom of Information (FOI) request has revealed that the Communities Department deleted all the responses to the Working Group’s consultation on the Islamophobia definition.

If there is nothing to hide, why did the department delete all the responses — a move that appears to breach its own policy on data retention?

There are serious questions for Angela Rayner and her department to answer. Why did they delete all these responses? Did ministers direct officials to dispose of the submissions? Did extremist groups really have the chance to influence the definition, while the Free Speech Union and the Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) did not?

The public deserves to know the truth.

The deeply suspicious origins of the government’s “anti-Muslim hostility” definition…

Shadow Justice Secretary Nick Timothy wrote two important letters this month
raising issues about the Working Group set up by Angela Rayner to create
an official definition of “anti-Muslim hostility” (AMH), the concept
formerly known as Islamophobia.

The first was to Rayner herself, where Timothy expressed his “deep concerns” –
firmly shared by the FSU – about the definition itself as a de facto
blasphemy law. But he also pointed out that ministers have “consistently
refused to confirm or deny whether extremist groups influenced the
Working Group or made representations during the Call for Evidence. In
particular, ministers have not confirmed whether groups such as MEND, CAGE, or the Muslim Council of Britain had input – all groups with which the government has a no-contact policy.”

Not only that, but “we have learned by Freedom of Information request
that all responses received as part of the Call for Evidence have now
been deleted by your department. The public will wonder whether there is
something to hide.”

In the second letter, Timothy drilled down on the deletion question with Rayner’s Permanent
Secretary, Will Garton – saying that “it is unbelievable a government
department would invite evidence on an important and sensitive topic and
then instantly destroy all the evidence it received… This means that
the evidence that has informed the Working Group’s conclusion is now
impossible to scrutinise.”

Both letters concluded with a series of urgent questions, asking Rayner
and her department what steps were taken to verify that extremists did
not influence the definition; whether she’ll publish a list of the
organisations who submitted responses; and why, contrary to normal
department policy, those responses were mysteriously deleted (if,
indeed, they actually were).

Naturally, the FSU would like the answers to these questions too – and
we’ll be throwing our full weight behind trying to get them. In some
instances, however, we already know what they might be. In February, our
Policy and Research Director David Rose published the briefing Anti-Free Speech Hostility – which revealed that all five Working Group members have had close links with precisely the groups that Timothy mentioned.

…and its already pernicious effects

The FSU has launched a High Court judicial review of the decision by the
Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) to make criticising Islam a
potentially career-ending offence.

At the heart of this important case lie worrying changes to the NMC’s
code of professional standards. If a nurse or midwife is thought to have
breached the code, the regulator may launch an investigation into
whether they’re fit to practise, followed by a disciplinary hearing that
could result in them being struck off.

Even before the changes, the Council has long proved itself to be pretty
trigger-happy, with incidents involving the NMC one of the biggest
categories in our caseload. Our files also show that, across the board,
speech about Islam-related topics has been disproportionately likely to
attract adverse attention from the authorities.

Then, in May, came new NMC guidance over what constitutes
discrimination, harassment and bullying. Part of it involved AMH – to
which the Council duly applied the government’s official definition. One
hypothetical example it gives is of a nurse on social media calling for
the deportation of “anyone who undermines British values” and
illustrating it with images of people who are clearly Muslims. The NMC
“would be likely to regard this as an example of AMH that would impair
fitness to practise”.

As our legal claim says, beliefs critical of Islam are supposed to be
protected by the Equality Act 2010. But in pre-action correspondence,
our lawyers have established that the NMC failed to consider whether the
new guidance might have a damaging effect on practitioners with such
Islam-critical beliefs. We believe it should have done so in order to
meet its Public Sector Equality Duty, as set out by the same Act.

For individual nurses and midwives, the consequences could be
devastating, because the mere commencement of an investigation can have
terrible effects on their career, reputation, livelihood and wellbeing.
We’re asking the court to issue an order quashing the new NMC guidance.
We’ll keep you posted.

Jason Arday’s death must not be used to attack press freedom

The Jason Arday case has thrown up several matters of concern to people who believe in academic freedom and free speech.

For a start, there were all those attempts to kill the story once the
evidence of Arday’s plagiarism emerged: the letter from law firm
Carter-Ruck to Times Higher Education warning it off running an “apparent attack” on their client that may be “racially motivated”; the Met Police
launching an investigation and then warning the magazine’s reporter
Jack Grove not to ask any more entirely legitimate questions; the Good
Law Project’s embarrassing letter denouncing the “entirely false claims of plagiarism” from assorted supposed “racists”.

Yet, if anything, what’s happened since Arday’s death has been more
alarming still, with that death now being weaponised to clamp down on a
free press – seemingly on the grounds that it has a tendency to unearth
inconvenient truths (i.e. to do what it’s supposed to).

Predictably leading the way once again is the Good Law Project, which in a letter
to the Prime Minister and the Culture Secretary declared: “There cannot
be any doubt that Arday’s tragic death was the direct, foreseeable and
foreseen result of press harassment. Self-regulation of the press has
comprehensively failed. We respectfully ask you to commission an
immediate public inquiry into how to ensure a responsible press.” (And
for “responsible”, of course, read “state-regulated”.)

Last week, I therefore joined more than 30 other free speech campaigners in writing to the Times
“to express our disagreement with those blaming Jason Arday’s death on
the academics and journalists who subjected his academic work and/or his
claimed life achievements to public scrutiny”. Given the wide range of
high-level posts he held across academia, the media and the NHS, such
scrutiny was entirely legitimate.

Our letter also drew attention to the some of the wilder claims of the weaponisers
– such as that of Lord Woolley, the principal of Homerton College,
Cambridge, who compared the press’s scrutiny to a “lynching”. “These
reckless responses,” we pointed out, “go beyond mourning a death; they
are calls for the censorship of the press and the curbing of free speech
and academic freedom.”

The FSU sends its sympathy to Jason Arday’s family and friends. But his death must not be exploited to silence the media.

Calling on our Northern Ireland members to fight a new ‘conversion therapy’ bill

Readers of this newsletter will know that the FSU has been campaigning against
the Labour government’s proposed ban on ‘conversion therapy’ – including
by asking you to sign a petition against it here. But now we have a similar fight on our hands in Northern Ireland, where the Conversion Practices (Criminalisation) Bill has just been introduced to the Northern Ireland Assembly.

As in the rest of the UK, all the coercive anti-gay practices conjured
up by the phrase ‘conversion therapy’ are already (rightly) banned. So
what does the bill want to outlaw? Like its Westminster equivalent, it
seems to be seeking a prohibition on ‘converting’ children who think
they’re trans to being ‘cisgendered’.

Like its Westminster equivalent too, the bill is nothing if not
wide-ranging. Its sweeping language risks the criminalisation of
standard pastoral care and parental guidance – with a maximum punishment
of 12 months in prison. As a result, any parent who attempts to talk a
confused adolescent out of irreversibly mutilating themselves could face
criminal penalties.

The Assembly has launched a Call for Evidence, and if you want to oppose this clearly anti-free speech measure, I’d recommend looking at the document here from the Christian Institute of Northern Ireland. It identifies the key questions and gives tips on how to respond.

This is an argument we have to win, and that starts with a strong
response to the Call for Evidence. As the Christian Institute
indisputably puts it: “The law should not criminalise parents for
fulfilling their primary duty to protect their children.”

But there’s something else you can do too…

As the preceding item demonstrates, activist groups such as Stonewall have
succeeded in driving legislative proposals that could see the
criminalisation of important conversations, enforcing its ‘no debate’
mantra regarding the LGBTQI+ (etc) agenda.

The Northern Ireland Assembly’s Call for Evidence on the new bill is an
open consultation, running until 1st October. So please do join the FSU

for this timely event, debating the consequences of a ‘conversion
therapy’ ban – and the broader context in which such restrictions on
free speech have become commonplace.

RIP Rod Liddle

When Graham Greene learned of Evelyn Waugh’s death, he said it felt as if his commanding officer had died. As I wrote in the Spectator, I felt the same way about Rod’s. Fighting the culture war will be a lot harder without him leading us over the top every week.

Beneath the blokeish exterior, Rod was a man of considerable learning –
and although his writing was always properly funny, he was utterly
serious in his mission to stand up for England’s white working class
against the snobbish contempt of the metropolitan elite.

I will miss him very much.

Case against FSU member dropped by the Met

We scored a notable victory this week when the Metropolitan Police
announced that it would be taking no further action against a
19-year-old FSU member arrested at the Unite the Kingdom march in May
for holding a sign that read “F*** Islam”.

Following his arrest, he was handcuffed and taken to Plumstead police
station where he was held for several hours. He was then placed under
investigation for an offence under the Public Order Act of stirring up
racial hatred (even though Islam is not a race).

In a joint legal letter from the FSU and Big Brother Watch,
we urged Met Commissioner Sir Mark Rowley to drop the case, pointing
out that, as there’s no blasphemy law in Britain, it’s not an offence to
express hostility to any religion. This has now been done.

You’d think the police might know by now that criticising a religion,
however robustly, is not a criminal offence in Britain and nor is
breaching a religion’s blasphemy code. But if not, the FSU will always
be there to remind them.

We’d also, needless to say, defend anyone being investigated for holding a sign saying “F*** Christianity” or “F*** Buddhism”.

The FSU on campus

As the new academic year approaches, I’m delighted to announce our wide-ranging plans for it.

At all of these events, Vinay Kapoor, our Education and Engagement
Officer, will be joined by students and recent graduates the FSU has had
connections with – and in London by younger members of our staff
(oddly, I don’t appear to qualify) – to promote the FSU’s work with
young people. Throughout the rest of the year, he’ll continue visiting
campuses and the student societies we support.

Over the coming weeks, we’ll also be releasing a podcast series featuring four of the projects funded by the Ian Mactaggart Programme, our grant-giving scheme for young people who want to promote free speech. Last year the programme funded
more than 20 such projects, including free speech societies, debating
unions, student magazines and podcasts. This gets less noticed than our
more high-profile activities, but is some of the most encouraging work
we do.

The first podcast in the new series goes out at 2pm today on our YouTube channel, featuring Lottie Tredgett, who bravely founded a free speech society at King’s College London, aka “Britain’s wokest university”.

Look out for more about the FSU’s work with young people on our social media – and I wish good luck to all freshers.

Essex police chief apologises to Allison Pearson

Allison Pearson, Telegraph journalist
and good friend of the FSU, has received a public apology and a
five-figure damages payment from Essex’s Police and Crime Commissioner
Roger Hirst, after successfully bringing a defamation claim against him
in the High Court.

The settlement follows comments Hirst made during an LBC interview and in an article for Conservative Home while
Essex Police were investigating Allison over a post on X that officers
alleged had incited racial hatred. The investigation was later dropped
without any further action, following an intervention by Luke Gittos, a
lawyer supplied by the FSU.

Mr Justice Chamberlain ruled that Hirst’s comments, made soon after the
arrest, implied there were reasonable grounds to investigate Allison for
wrongdoing.

In a statement on his official website, Hirst wrote: “I wish to
apologise to Allison Pearson for accusations I made about her. I
intended to address wider issues about hate crimes and policing, but I
accept, as the High Court has found, that I did accuse her personally.

“I am very sorry for the damage and hurt I have caused to her, and I
have agreed to pay her substantial damages and costs in recognition of
that.”

I warmly congratulate Allison on her victory. But I also agree with her
that “this should never have happened. It is deplorable that over 12,000
of our fellow citizens were targeted each year for social media posts,
often on the say-so of unknown individuals who need only claim to have experienced offence or hatred.”

Another good month for the Case Team

Having dealt with well over 6,000 cases since I founded the FSU in 2020, our
Case Team continues to be extremely busy – and extremely successful.
This month brought several fresh victories. Here are just a couple of
them…

FSU member Steven Rennie was arrested in February following a speech he
gave at a public gathering expressing concerns about the housing of
Afghan nationals at an active military base in Fife. He was then charged
with stirring up racial hatred.

The FSU instructed the law firm Brodies LLP to act on his behalf. Having
reviewed the case, Brodies determined that there was insufficient
evidence to prosecute and made repeated representations to the
prosecution for the case to be discontinued.

Despite this, the prosecution proceeded to trial on 18th August at
Dundee Sheriff Court – which meant the matter hung over Steven for six
anxious months.

Fortunately, once the trial began, the Sheriff refused the prosecution’s
motion to adjourn it in order to gather more evidence (thus
demonstrating, as our legal team had argued all along, that there wasn’t
enough). And with that, the prosecution case was discontinued by the
court and, to his great relief, Steven was acquitted.

Earlier this year, an FSU member lost his job following a single
conversation about immigration. A colleague had raised the subject, and
in response our member voiced his views that levels of immigration were
too high, that many people are rightly worried about losing their
country and that we need to secure our borders. He also firmly disagreed
with his colleague’s assertion that it would be a good thing if England
became minority English as revenge for the British Empire.

Shortly afterwards, this colleague and others made a complaint. Our
member was pulled aside by his manager and told that he’d been accused
of racial harassment. He was then summarily dismissed for gross
misconduct and escorted from the premises. No investigation was carried
out, no due disciplinary procedure was followed and no opportunity to
appeal was provided.

After he contacted us, we secured a settlement, including a payment and
an agreed reference. He has since found employment elsewhere.

He later said: “I was assumed to be guilty without any opportunity to
internally fight the charge. I knew my only recourse was externally
through the law, and the Free Speech Union was my first choice. Within
hours they’d responded to my email and over the next few months they
jumped through all the hoops and came to an agreement with my former
employer that I was happy with. I feel like justice has been done.”

excellent experience for members, speakers and guests.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys managing multiple
projects, solving problems and putting on events of a consistently high

They understand it from the inside. And they see how bad it is. And now with the internet they have a global platform on which to persuade those who are currently Muslims to leave it.

And if they can also persuade the delusional wishful thinking non-Muslims (mainly on the left) that yes Islam itself is evil, that will be a major bonus too.

Within YouTube, do a text search for “why I left Islam”, you will find the testimonies of many ex-Muslims. These are inspiring people, who have the courage to go public. They can only be the tip of the iceberg, as many cannot go public, for fear of repercussions.

I have carefully examined such testimonies, and collated the transcripts into the book “Why I Left Islam”. In addition, I have collated the primary reasons why they leave. And also compared it with a very helpful survey done of 6,300 Muslim regarding their doubts about their religion.

In a very significant percentage, nearly half of cases, they have doubts / leave because of the immorality of Mohammed. It is as simple as that.

Within the book I also examine whether the traditional way that Christians evangelise to Muslims is effective or not. And suggest a method that may be up to 7 TIMES more effective than the current approach. This is important! Read the book.

UK entrepreneur makes £500,000 political donation to Restore Britain

Simon Galbraith says Rupert Lowe’s party can ‘spark a British renaissance’ if it gets into power

The hard-right Restore Britain party has got its first major donation of £500,000 from an IT entrepreneur in a sign it may continue to pose a threat to Nigel Farage’s Reform UK.

Rupert Lowe, an MP who left Reform UK before starting his own party, announced on Tuesday that the British businessman Simon Galbraith had contributed two donations of £250,000 this year.

Galbraith said his company Cade Hill Investments had given the money as he believes that “most British people sense Britain’s decline”.

“There is a centralised, bloated and incompetent state which is increasingly undemocratic, British institutions are unfocused on what they should be for and our democracy doesn’t represent the interests and opinions of many,” he said in a statement. “Things are worse than most people realise, but the opportunity is much greater than everyone thinks too. If Restore win power, I think it will spark a British renaissance.”

The sum is small compared with the millions given to Farage’s party by the crypto billionaires Christopher Harborne and Ben Delo, as well as further millions pledged by the Iranian-born billionaire Sasan Ghandehari.

However, Restore Britain’s ability to raise a substantial sum from a private donor will improve its potential to challenge Reform UK from the right in targeted areas. The party has previously said it will field a candidate against Farage if he faces a second bylection in Clacton after the standards investigation into his finances is concluded.

However, Lowe also offered an olive branch to Farage in August suggesting the parties could put aside their differences and work together on “mass deportation” of illegal migrants “including women and children”, tougher rules on legal migration, a ban on halal and kosher slaughter, the burqa, cousin marriage and sharia courts, and a referendum on the death penalty. He also called for the exclusion of former Tory ministers from any future cabinet.

In response, Farage suggested Lowe was not making a credible “offer” and accused him of “screaming” and “threatening” colleagues when he was in the party ranks.

Announcing Restore’s new donation, Lowe said: “I am delighted to announce that British entrepreneur Simon Galbraith has chosen to support Restore Britain, starting with two separate donations totalling £500,000 to our party – I would like to sincerely thank Simon on behalf of our party and our membership.”

Below is a report by GB News. No other TV news channel is reporting on this evil practice. Under age marriage of Muslim girls in the UK is increasing. The problem is getting worse.

One of the discussion panel members suggests that Islam should be modernised. I disagree - it is not possible to modernise Islam, because Mohammed himself married a girl when she was 6 and consummated it when she was 9.

Since Muslims regard Mohammed as the perfect example for them for all time, it is not possible to modernise Islam. It just needs to be abolished.

While the reported numbers of under age marriages in the UK are relatively few, this must surely be the tip of the iceberg, with many more not being reported.

I am persevering with my task of trying to wake up people to the harsh reality of Islam. Cousin marriage is a related evil. It is widely practiced by the Muslims in the UK, up to half of Muslim marriages in some towns. It must be abolished.

A few days ago I sent an email to all MPs, regarding the law that is needed urgently to abolish cousin marriages. I will publish any replies in due course - MPs can take several weeks to reply.

The Conservative Party is very belatedly awakening to the need to tackle such Islamic evils. They had 14 years to do so. Better late than never, I suppose. Maybe they now realise that it is utterly futile for them to chase the Muslim vote - less than 1% of the Muslim vote now goes to the Conservatives. A poll of 30,000 Muslims put their support for the Conservatives as 0.6%.

By 2019, under the leadership of Jeremy Corbyn, well over 80% of the Muslim vote was for Labour. Around 86% according to this source: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Muslim_Vote

More recently a poll of 30,000 Muslims showed the Muslim vote for Labour at around 5%. This is likely to bounce back under Andy Burnham. It will very much depend on the Labour Government actions regarding Gaza and Israel. Indications are that Burnham is more pro-Palestine than Starmer was. We shall see… It highlights the absolute necessity to wake up all MPs, and especially Labour MP regarding the harsh reality of Islam. Many are in denial still. Faith school that makes 7 year olds wear hijab to join state sector

As voluntary aided school, Barnet Hill Academy will be able to discriminate against non-Muslims in 100% of its pupil admissions

An independent Islamic faith school that requires girls as young as 7 to wear the hijab is set to become state-funded.

Barnet Hill Academy’s proposal to join the state sector was approved by a Barnet Council officer earlier this month.

From next week, the school will acquire Voluntary Aided (VA) status. It will be almost entirely funded by the taxpayer and will be legally allowed to select 100% of its pupils and staff on the basis of religion.

The National Secular Society has written to Barnet Council raising concerns about the school’s uniform policy, which includes “compulsory” hijabs for girls in Year 3 and above.

NSS chief executive Stephen Evans said: “It is appalling that taxpayers are being asked to fund a school that forces girls as young as seven to wear the hijab - women should be free to choose religious dress; young girls should not have it imposed upon them”.

The council’s decision states the schools “inclusive policies” support the “elimination of discrimination” and the “advancement of equality of opportunity”. The NSS has asked the council to set out its basis for these claims and to clarify whether it was aware of the mandatory hijab policy when it approved the school’s move to the state sector.

Although Barnet Council classified the proposal as a “key decision”, it was taken by an unelected officer without being considered by councillors.

The council did not publicise any information about the proposal consultation and statutory notice, which were only published on the school’s own website. The first time information about the proposal appeared on Barnet Council’s website was to announce that it had already been approved.

The NSS told the council that the approach meant it was unlikely that news of the plan would reach residents and parents who might oppose the proposal or be adversely affected by it.

The council also approved the proposal despite there being “no identified basic need for additional primary school places” in the borough, with overall primary pupil numbers “projected to decline”.

However, the council’s decision makes clear that the school must significantly increase the number of its pupils in order to be financially viable. Should pupil numbers fail to increase above the current levels, the council says the school “will likely face in-year deficits and cumulative deficits”.

This risks worsening the school’s already precarious financial position. Audited financial statements for the three most recent financial years show Barnet Hill Academy reported in-year deficits, cumulative deficit balances at each respective year-end, and net liabilities for the past three years.

The NSS also said there was “little to no evidence” that the “impact of the proposal on local integration and community cohesion” had been considered, as required by Barnet Council guidance.

The school’s proposed admissions arrangements prioritise Muslim applicants ahead of children from non-Muslim backgrounds. Despite this, the council claims the school will operate “inclusive admission arrangements”, because it will permit applications “from children of all faiths and none”.

The NSS said it “failed to understand how a school very likely to be made up entirely of pupils from one religious background and which discriminates against pupils who don’t share its faith can be considered ‘inclusive’”.

NSS: State-funded schools should bring children together, not divide them by faith

Stephen Evans, Chief Executive at the National Secular Society, said: “It is appalling that taxpayers are being asked to fund a school that forces girls as young as seven to wear the hijab. Women should be free to choose religious dress; young girls should not have it imposed upon them.

“It also beggars belief that public money is being committed to a religiously selective school when pupil numbers are falling and no clear need for additional places has been demonstrated.

“State-funded schools should bring children together, not divide them by faith and, by extension, ethnicity. The council must pause the implementation of this decision and subject this proposal to proper public and democratic scrutiny.”

Cousin marriage must be banned. Even if it costs votes.

It is high time that first cousin marriage must be banned. It comes with a very high risk of serious genetic defects among the offspring.

It has been very well known for many years that first cousin marriage is harmful. Charles Darwin married his cousin Emma Wedgewood. His own scientific research into animal breeding, years later, made him realise that it is risky.

The reason why it has not been illegal is that until Muslims arrived in the UK it was very rarely practised. There is no point in having a law against something that rarely happens.

Now that the Muslim population is growing rapidly, there is an increasingly urgent requirement to implement such a law. Even though it would likely be overturned circa 2050, the date at which Muslims are projected to take control of the UK, it needs to be done now. They are likely to take control of the UK well in advance of them becoming a majority, projected as around the year 2070. The taking control date will be earlier than the majority date because they will be predominantly younger and more politically active, while non-Muslims will largely be elderly by then, given current demographic trends.

Any MP who refuses to support such a law to ban cousin marriage is de facto in favour of children having very serious birth defects. And thereby they would demonstrate that they value the Muslim vote more than they value good moral principles.

Some Muslims do claim to oppose cousin marriage. If they do so, then they are opposing the clear permission for it within the Koran. And it very explicitly states that it is first cousin marriage. In this verse:

Koran 33:50 O Prophet (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم)! Verily, We have made lawful to you your wives, to whom you have paid their Mahr (bridal-money given by the husband to his wife at the time of marriage), and those (slaves) whom your right hand possesses - whom Allâh has given to you, and the daughters of your ‘Amm (paternal uncles) and the daughters of your ‘Ammât (paternal aunts) and the daughters of your Khâl (maternal uncles) and the daughters of your Khâlât(maternal aunts) who migrated (from Makkah) with you, and a believing woman if she offers herself to the Prophet, and the Prophet wishes to marry her - a privilege for you only, not for the (rest of) the believers. Indeed We know what We have enjoined upon them about their wives and those (slaves) whom their right hands possess, in order that there should be no difficulty on you. And Allâh is Ever Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

By the way, this verse (and 4 others) clearly permits sex slavery: “and those (slaves) whom your right hand possesses - whom Allâh has given to you”. Since Mohammed kept sex slaves, it is not regarded as immoral within Islam. And hence related sexual coercion such as the Muslim rape gangs are not regarded as immoral within Islam. This is the reason why the Muslim community very rarely reports the perpetrators to the police. Because to do so would be to oppose the Koran and to oppose the will of Allah. Please take this matter very seriously: it is urgently necessary to pin the blame for the Muslim rape gangs onto Islam itself.

Another evil Islamic practice is “Nikah halala”. (Not to be confused with Halal - a separate topic). Nikah halala must urgently be made illegal. A BBC documentary discovered that it is happening in the UK. The Koran itself stipulates this practice:

Koran 2:230 And if he has divorced her (the third time), then she is not lawful unto him thereafter until she has married another husband. Then, if the other husband divorces her, it is no sin on both of them that they reunite, provided they feel that they can keep the limits ordained by Allâh. These are the limits of Allâh, which He makes plain for the people who have knowledge.

If a husband says “Talaq” to his wife three times then the marriage is over. In the eyes of Allah they are now divorced. Even if he said it in the heat of the moment, and immediately regrets it, they cannot continue as man and wife. The remedy is stipulated in the above verse: she must marry another man (and for the marriage to be regarded as genuine she must have sex with him). And then when he is ready and divorces her, she is then free to re-marry her original husband. She might well find herself trapped as his sex slave, if her “temporary” husband refuses to divorce: “if the other husband divorces her”. This is clearly absurd and barbaric, and must urgently be made illegal in the UK.

No Muslim can ban the practice of Nikah halala, because the Koran permits it. Any Muslim who opposes the Koran is regarded as an apostate, for which the Sharia punishment is death. Thus the Muslim community is powerless to ban this evil practice. It must be banned by the Westminster Parliament. For the good of Muslims.

Strictly speaking, Islam should be classified as a dangerous cult rather than a respectable religion, because of the death penalty for apostasy. A frequent characteristic of cults is their deliberate isolation of the followers from the rest of society. The Koran commands Muslims not to befriend Christians or Jews. Anyone who naively and ignorantly claims that Muslims must be free to practice their religion needs to familiarise themselves with the European Convention on Human Rights Article 9. It clearly indicates that Muslims do NOT have the right to freely practice their religion where it contradicts the law of the nation. In other words, the ECHR places man-made laws enacted in a democratic Parliaments as superior to the laws of Allah. Quote:

“Freedom to manifest one’s religion or beliefs shall be subject only to such limitations as are prescribed by law and are necessary in a democratic society in the interests of public safety, for the protection of public order, health or morals, or for the protection of the rights and freedoms of others.”

Allowing first cousin marriage very clearly contravenes the protection of health and morals - they frequently result in grave recessive genetic disorders and entirely avoidable physical deformation and mental retardation. Any MP who refuses to ban cousin marriage is doing so in contravention of the ECHR Article 9.

Labour should take this opportunity to ban first cousin marriage that the Conservatives are offering. It will of course lose even more of the Muslim vote. However it has largely gone from Labour already. During the leadership of Jeremy Corbyn around 85% of the Muslim vote was for Labour. However it fell dramatically under Keir Starmer, down to 5% according to this poll of 30,000 Muslims:

Since the Muslim vote has largely departed from Labour, and is practically non existent for the Conservatives, it is high time that both Labour and Conservatives must now make laws based on moral correctness. Rather than compromising moral values in order to chase the Muslim vote.

As an aside, the Conservatives can easily rise significantly in the polls, regaining many of the voters lost to Reform UK, if only every Conservative MP will familiarise themselves with Islam, and speak out against its numerous evils, including cousin marriage. Nigel Farage has several wealthy Muslim donors and also several Muslims in prominent positions in his party. If you watch him carefully you see he never criticises Islam itself but instead uses dishonest terms such as “Islamism”. And he uses whataboutery to shield Islam itself. There is no way that Muslims would donate to Reform UK if they thought it would oppose Islam. The Conservative Party has no such restriction, and if it will consistently speak out against Islam itself (rather than just “Islamism” or “Islamic extremism” - nonsense terms since Islam has a large political component which cannot be separated out) and its may evils including cousin marriage, the Reform voters will soon notice, and switch back.

Regarding the banning of cousin marriage, please discuss the matter with Dr Luke Evans MP and Richard Holden MP.

I hope that all MPs, across parties, will support the ban on cousin marriage. And also ban other evil Islamic practices that are happening in the UK, such as Nikah halala, as defined in Koran 2:230. The ECHR Article 9 clearly states that the right to practice religions is not absolute.

For the wellbeing of Muslims themselves, and for the good of society overall, the UK Parliament MUST have the courage and moral virtue to over-ride Islamic laws. And urgently reverse the grave errors of 2008 when the Labour Government allowed the practice of Sharia law in the UK, by making Sharia Councils official. And reverse the grave error of the Conservative - Lib Dem coalition Government introduction of Islamic Bonds into the City of London in 2013, which are of course administered under Sharia Law.

The supremacy of the Westminster Parliament must be reasserted, and any and all forms of Sharia law currently operating in the UK must be abolished. The errors of 2008 and 2013 must be reversed. We MUST have one law for everyone and everyone subject to the same law. Otherwise our Parliament makes itself redundant. Do you see the gravity of the errors made by Labour, Lib Dems and Conservatives?

A deep and public apology by the perpetrators of such errors, including by David Cameron, Nick Clegg and Boris Johnson, to the British citizens for past blunders relating to Islam must also be made, or it will be impossible to regain their trust.

Labour opens door to banning cousin marriage

Tories in fresh attempt to outlaw practice as MoJ acknowledges ‘serious concerns’

Labour is considering whether to back legislation to ban first cousin marriage in the UK.

The Ministry of Justice (MoJ) acknowledged that there were “serious concerns” over cousin marriage and said it would “look at” whether outlawing the practice was the best way to tackle it.

A backbench bill is expected to be laid before Parliament in the new year by Dr Luke Evans, the shadow health minister, in a fresh attempt to ban first cousin marriage.

A previous attempt by Richard Holden, the shadow transport secretary, in a private member’s bill last year failed after being blocked by Sir Keir Starmer’s government.

Mr Holden urged Andy Burnham not to be a “coward” or “unwilling” to back the new proposals for a ban.

The move follows the disclosure by The Telegraph on Monday that a Sudanese migrant had been allowed to stay in the UK after marrying her first cousin, who came to the UK as a refugee.

‘Used to bypass system’

Mr Holden told GB News: “Given cases like this, it’s quite clear to me that first cousin marriage is now being used as a way to try and bypass the normal immigration system, and it’s pretty clear to me that we need to act more swiftly than that.

“I want to see the Government backing the bill that Dr Evans is bringing forward, just get on board with it. This is something that whether you’re a Conservative voter or a Labour voter or a Reform voter or a liberal voter, actually right across the board, people want to see first cousin marriage banned.”

He said Labour was “unwilling to face down certain voices within certain communities”, but added: “The truth is that I’ve had genuinely dozens of messages from people within the British-Pakistani community saying, ‘Richard, please keep going on this campaign. It’s very difficult for us to speak out’.

“But actually they’re telling me that those opinion polls, which show that the majority of British-Pakistanis want to see this banned as well, are true. And they’re saying it’s just the Government is unwilling to stand up to certain vested interests within parts of the British-Pakistani community.

“And actually, the Government should be on the side of the people, not on the side of some of these so-called community leaders.”

An MoJ spokesman said: “We recognise the serious concerns that have been raised around this issue. As any responsible government would do, we must look at whether legislation is the best solution to tackle this.”

First cousin unions account for fewer than 1 per cent of all marriages nationwide. However, studies such as the Born in Bradford health project have suggested as many as 35 per cent to 55 per cent of people of Pakistani heritage in the UK marry a first cousin.

The Bradford Health project found that even after factors such as poverty were controlled for, a child of first cousins in Bradford had an 11 per cent probability of being diagnosed with a speech and language problem, versus 7 per cent for children whose parents are not related.

They also found that a child of first cousins has a 54 per cent chance of reaching a “good stage of development” (a government assessment given to all five-year-olds in England), versus 64 per cent for children whose parents are not related.

Two Scandinavian countries have moved to outlaw cousin marriage entirely. In Norway, the practice became illegal in 2024; in Sweden, a ban will come into effect this year.

First-cousin marriage is banned in 32 US states and criminalised in eight.

IN GOTHENBURG

I visited Gothenburg in 2013.

According to Wikipedia at that time around 20% of the population of Gothenburg were from Iran and Iraq. But that did not tell the whole story. What I observed during my time walking through the city centre was that around 80% of the under 5 year olds were of Islamic parentage. I saw it with my own eyes, it was very noticeable.

Sweden is in the process of destroying itself.

Now watch how even the native Swedes have been captured by the “pro-Palestine” mindset. Here they are, drumming stupidly outside the Concert Hall in Gothenburg. The Western civilisation, including its long history of classical music is being superseded by this unskilled cacophony of naive useful idiots. It is so sad to see.

Something has gone very badly wrong with our universities. They should be places where difficult topics can be discussed and researched freely. Not everyone will agree with some of the research topics, and that of course is perfectly fine - they should also be free to put their counter argument.

Nathan Cofnas is an academic who has been researching racial differences. It is indeed a topic that is worthy of examination. However he has faced intimidation and was fired from his research post at the University of Cambridge in 2024. This is very wrong of course. Just because a vociferous group disagrees with him, and put pressure upon the university, should not result in him being fired.

He has subsequently been suspended from the University of Ghent, for documenting the numerous examples of plagiarism by Jason Arday. Arday had been appointed as a professor at the University of Cambridge, and has tragically committed suicide after the plagiarism became widespread public knowledge.

All this tragedy could have been avoided if universities had not been captured by DEI ideology. This must urgently be reversed. Universities have also become petrified of any criticism of Islam. This too must urgently be reversed. We need to uphold the principle of free speech, which is rapidly eroding. You are free to disagree with someone, but it is very wrong to persecute them for their views, or cause them to lose their job.

De facto it is not now possible to criticise Islam if employed at a UK university. I know for a fact that someone was fired from their job at a UK university for writing critically of Islam. Islam is not a race of course, even though Labour and the Lib Dems and the Scottish Conservatives believe that it is - they all adopted the All Party Parliamentary Group definition of Islamophobia, that states it is a form of racism.

We have already lost free speech. This is chilling. Lawmakers need to put in place stiff penalties for universities that do not permit academic freedoms. This is an urgent and serious task. My suggestion is that they should lose any publicly funded research grants unless and until they properly recompense those who have been disadvantaged by their pro-DEI and pro-Islam policies.

A democracy cannot function once free speech has been lost. Reversing this loss MUST be an urgent task of lawmakers. Or you de facto put yourself out of a job. Do you see the problem?

Below is an article which describes the many ways in which Nathan Cofnas has been persecuted because of the subject matter of his research. The article is not written by me. The author has given permission for me to send it to you. The author does not wish to divulge his name.

The suicide of Jason Arday is of course a tragedy. Children have lost their father. However it was an entirely avoidable tragedy, if the University of Cambridge had done some basic checks on the quality of his work. If any good should come from his death, it would be to seriously question how the DEI ideology has captured so many institutes, including universities. This is a grave error, and I would hope that lawmakers will examine the matter closely, and intervene to prevent any recurrence of such tragedies.

Unfortunately the universities seem more interested today in propagating comfortable lies, rather than upholding truthfulness. The tragedy of Jason Arday was entirely avoidable. It must be a wake up call. If absolute truthfulness had been pursued he would still be alive today.

The Persecution of Nathan Cofnas

A Case Study of Leftist Fascism

I looked into this matter and was shocked that I was not shocked at what I found: those screaming that the fraudster Jason Arday was killed in a witch hunt, are themselves carrying out a witch hunt of the most virulent kind.

In the corridors of Cambridge and the offices of Ghent University, a familiar drama has unfolded. A young philosopher advances inconvenient observations about human variation, documents institutional failure, and finds himself subjected to petitions, protests, investigations, professional exile, physical threat, and finally suspension. Nathan Cofnas is not a demagogue. He is a careful scholar of the philosophy of biology whose crime is to notice what data have long suggested and what ordinary common sense has always understood: that groups differ, on average, in cognitive distributions, and that pretending otherwise produces fraud, resentment, and the corrosion of standards. Those who have hounded him are race-obsessed ideologues whose intolerance of dissenting opinion can reasonably be called fascistic. Their methods, mob pressure, institutional capture, and the equation of evidence with hatred reveal a movement that cannot tolerate the open air of free inquiry.

Cofnas arrived at Cambridge in 2022 as a Leverhulme Fellow in the Faculty of Philosophy and a research associate at Emmanuel College. His work sits squarely within the classical liberal tradition of following evidence wherever it leads. In February 2024 he published a blog post, “A Guide for the Hereditarian Revolution,” which stated, with characteristic bluntness, that under a genuine meritocracy Black people “would disappear from almost all high-profile positions outside of sports and entertainment” and that the number of Black professors at Harvard would approach zero. The claim rests on decades of psychometric data, adoption studies, and the stubborn persistence of group gaps after environmental controls. It was not a call for discrimination but a description of what would happen if discrimination in favour of equal outcomes were abandoned. One may dispute the size of genetic influence or the precise policy implications. What one may not reasonably do is treat the observation itself as moral contagion.

Yet that is precisely what Cambridge’s activist cohort did. Fifty-eight students filed formal complaints. A petition gathered more than twelve hundred signatures demanding his dismissal. Protesters chanted outside the philosophy faculty. Flyers bearing his face appeared across campus. Private messages discussed “jumping” him and “beating the shit out of him.” Emmanuel College, after an initial nod to academic freedom, terminated his college status on the explicit ground that his writing constituted a “rejection of Diversity, Equality and Inclusion” and challenged the college’s “core values.” The language is revealing. DEI is not presented as one contested policy among others; it is elevated to the status of sacred dogma. To question it is not error but heresy. Cambridge University’s own later investigation cleared Cofnas: the views, however offensive to some, breached neither the law nor the university’s free-speech regulations. The college, however, had already acted. Cofnas sued and lost on the narrow ground that the college’s response was proportionate to reputational harm. The deeper message was unmistakable: certain truths are not to be spoken.

This episode alone would illustrate the closing of the academic mind. What followed elevated it from local scandal to national parable. Jason Arday had been appointed Cambridge’s youngest Black professor in 2023 amid glowing coverage of an improbable life story—nonverbal until late childhood, illiterate until eighteen, multiple serious medical conditions, prodigious athletic feats, and multimillion-pound charity fundraising. Quiet doubts about his scholarship had circulated for years. In July 2026 Cofnas published a detailed examination of Arday’s doctoral thesis and subsequent papers, placing passages side by side with earlier sources. The overlaps were extensive, sometimes retaining original errors, and additional reporting exposed contradictions in the autobiographical claims. Liverpool John Moores University had previously attributed some issues to “honest error.” Cambridge initially deferred; under pressure it opened an investigation. Arday resigned. Days later he was found dead. The tragedy is real, but does not transform documented textual theft and biographical embroidery into virtue, nor does it convert the messenger into a villain.

The institutional double standard is glaring. Cofnas was driven from his college for stating probabilistic claims about group averages grounded in data. Arday was celebrated, protected, and only belatedly scrutinised when the evidence became impossible to ignore. The pattern is not accidental. When identity is treated as a proxy for moral worth and statistical patterns are treated as moral failings, institutions lose the capacity for ordinary quality control. Race becomes the master variable that overrides evidence, competence, and consistency. Those who insist on noticing the resulting absurdities are cast as the problem. This is not anti-racism. It is race obsession elevated to the level of governing principle, enforced by social sanction and administrative power.

The latest chapter unfolded in Belgium. Cofnas took a postdoctoral post at Ghent University. In March 2026 an open letter from local philosophers demanded his removal, branding his work racist pseudoscience. Rector Petra De Sutter—transgender woman, former Green Party figure and Deputy Prime Minister—expressed personal concern at his statements yet initially declined to dismiss him. After Arday’s death, Ghent moved swiftly. A preliminary disciplinary investigation was launched into Cofnas’s “recent public statements,” and he was suspended as a precautionary measure. Cofnas identified the decision with De Sutter. The university’s statement spoke of shock at the death, opposition to discrimination, and the limits of academic freedom. The sequence is instructive. Exposure of apparent academic misconduct is reframed as discrimination against the individual whose record is under examination. The death becomes a reason to punish the investigator rather than to examine how such a record could have been elevated in the first place. This is not the behaviour of an institution that has internalised the rule that certain identities must be shielded from ordinary scrutiny.

The broader climate that produces these outcomes is one of systematic intolerance. Cofnas’ opponents of do not merely disagree, they treat disagreement as violence. They mobilise petitions and protests not to refute data but to render the speaker radioactive. They redefine “harm” so that the mere existence of a contrary thesis constitutes injury to protected groups. They demand institutional loyalty oaths to DEI while denouncing any loyalty to evidence that challenges it. When threats of physical violence appear in student chats, the institutional response is mild reflection exercises. When a scholar catalogues plagiarism, the response is suspension. The asymmetry is the point. The ideology cannot survive contact with facts; therefore the facts, and those who report them, must be suppressed.

Some will object that this diagnosis is itself extreme. It is not. Fascism, in its classic form, subordinated truth to the needs of the movement and treated dissent as existential threat. The contemporary race-obsessed left wear the keffiyeh not brown shirts but its methods are identical to those of Hitler’s SA. The underlying posture is the same: an absolute claim on moral authority, an inability to concede that differences of opinion should be tolerated and engaged with, and a readiness to destroy careers and lives rather than debate. Common sense recognises the pattern. Ordinary people understand that individuals vary widely, that averages differ between groups, and that pretending otherwise produces patronage, fraud, and quiet cynicism. They also understand that universities exist to pursue truth, not to manage feelings or engineer demographic outcomes. When those universities instead punish the pursuit of truth, they forfeit their claim to public trust.

Cofnas has written against the fashionable tendency to blame “the Great Feminization” for every institutional failure. He notes, correctly, that cancel culture and egalitarian dogma predate female majorities in the academy, and that men have cancelled one another for centuries over religion and politics. Demographic shifts may alter the emotional temperature of enforcement, with greater emphasis on safety, inclusion, and the authority of distress. They do not create the underlying ideology. The ideology is older and deeper: the insistence that all groups must display identical distributions of traits, and that any residual disparity must be the product of systemic malice. Once that premise is treated as non-negotiable, every contrary observation becomes heresy and every heretic a legitimate target.

The proper response is not reciprocal intolerance but the steady reassertion of reality. Talent is not equally distributed. Standards exist for a reason. Universities that abandon them in the name of equity will produce both mediocrity and the occasional spectacular imposture. Scholars who document these failures perform a public service. Those who respond with petitions, suspensions, and moral panic reveal their own fragility. Nathan Cofnas has been treated as a contaminant rather than a colleague. The record shows otherwise. He has followed evidence, exposed institutional negligence, and refused to recite the required catechism. In a healthy intellectual culture that would be unremarkable. In the present one it is treated as provocation. The fault lies not with the messenger but with those who cannot bear the message.

PUSHING BACK

If nothing effective is done to push back, then civil war seems highly probable.

Another possibility is an incremental Islamisation, with freedoms incrementally curtailed. This appears to be the policy of successive UK Governments. Blatantly continue to lie to the public regarding the reality of Islam. Until the point when it is impossible to do anything about it.

We in the UK are quite close to the point of no return. The year 2040 at the latest. This is not just a random figure, but has been calculated in a spreadsheet, using official census data. This date is well in advance of the point at which there is a Muslim majority. Probably around the year 2065 - 2070 if current demographic trends continue. At that point it will be impossible to halt it.

I am in the process of sending paperback copies of the book “Why I Left Islam” to all Members of Parliament. OPEN LETTER TO LAWMAKERS

Western nations are under severe threat from Islam

Dear Sir or Madam,

Western nations are under severe and existential threat from Islam. Islam itself, not just “Islamism” or “Islamic extremists”. Those are false terms that seek to hide the true scale of the threat. They shield Islam from criticism.

Islam itself is a totalitarian supremacist ideology. Previous generations sacrificed so much in order to oppose such evil ideologies, in order to preserve our freedoms. It is now our turn to protect the liberal democracy and free speech that has been so hard fought for by our forbears. Opposing evil is our important duty.

The younger generations will not forgive us if we fail to do our duty. If the current demographic trajectory continues, your grandchildren will very probably live as subjugated dhimmis – paying the exorbitant jizya tax as a sign of inferiority. They will have no freedom of expression. Your granddaughters will have to wear restrictive head-covering clothing.

What is at stake? If we do nothing to oppose Islam then it will, in a relatively few decades, take over Western nations. It makes no secret of its aims to take over the entire world. You cannot ignore this grave reality, nor pretend that it is not happening. The time for naive wishful thinking is over.

Your duty is to enact laws that will do these three things:

1. Severely limit all immigration of Muslims.

2. Deport as many Muslims as possible.

3. Create a concerted campaign to persuade the remaining Muslims to leave Islam. Not all will do, but if sufficient do, then the numbers will shrink.

These seem like draconian measures for a liberal democratic nation to take, however it is a matter of survival now. Unless Islam is eliminated as a force in such nations, then relatively soon there will be no liberal democratic nation. The binary choice: do something and survive or do nothing and die.

Item 3 is absolutely key. A survey of a significant number of Muslims shows which are the primary factors that cause Muslims to question their faith.

Details are given within this book. The existing approach has largely been ineffective. The new approach promises to be some 7 times more effective.

Since Islam itself is demonstrably evil, with severe adverse consequences for Muslims too (including first cousin marriage, and repression of women) the greatest possible kindness that a non-Muslim can do for a Muslim is to help them leave Islam. All good people must see this is a matter of humane concern. The task is urgent. Do not delay examining the problem honestly.

I appreciate that some receiving this letter may respond negatively, categorising me simply as racist or a religious bigot, and so enabling them to ignore the essential truth I bring to their attention.

Many say to me: “You can’t be right. I know some nice Muslims”. That would be to miss the point. Individuals of course have a variety of perspectives. And they may change their mind – either to abandon religion entirely in one direction, or to become violently radical in the other direction. In some cases a violent radical can completely switch to becoming genuinely peaceful – by rejecting Islam. It’s about the warlike dominating ideology many do follow, and feel they have no choice other than to subscribe to. There is an identifiable path away from this.

I hope you will take the time to reflect on my book and carefully examine the threat we face. I welcome your feedback. You may feel my suggestions for reclaiming our country’s essentially wonderful Christian history, culture and heritage is a step too far but I urge you to recognise we are facing an existential crisis which will not go away by ignoring it.

This paperback book “Why I Left Islam” is being sent to all UK Members of Parliament. I strongly urge that you discuss the matter with your parliamentary colleagues. And I hope that between you, across parties, there will be a concerted effort to halt and reverse the Islamisation of the UK. The UK has a long and proud history of pushing back against evil practices – abolishing slavery for example and suppressing the slave trade, starting some two centuries ago. Today we have the evil of Islam to root out from our land, and to suppress it worldwide. It is an entirely achievable task, provided that firm action is taken urgently, before it becomes too late.

Phase 1 is only possible because of the gullible naive wishful thinkers in positions of power and influence. Islam is adept at deceiving ignorant people. Our task must be to make them less ignorant! But they are in may cases wilfully ignorant, so this is a hard task.

These naive people seem to think that because they know some “good” Muslims that Islam itself must therefore be perfectly fine. They will be in for a shock when reality bites them!

We are probably in phase 2 now in the UK and in Europe.

Western civilisation is lost if the USA follows the UK and Europe. Time is very rapidly running out now.

David Campanale seeks damages after what he says was organised campaign against his faith in Sutton and Cheam

How much is a career in politics worth? The Liberal Democrats, despite admitting claims of religious discrimination, say about £22,800. A former Lib Dem candidate claims £790,000.

It is a question before the Central London county court after David Campanale argued that discrimination against his Christianity cost him his political career in a civil case against the party.

Campanale, a former BBC journalist, was selected in 2021 as the party’s candidate for Sutton and Cheam, but was removed in August 2023.

The Liberal Democrats have admitted claims of direct and indirect discrimination on grounds of religion or belief under the Equality Act and their failure to deal with complaints Campanale made about his treatment, leaving the amount of damages to be determined by the court.

Campanale’s schedule of loss, seen by the Guardian, puts his claim at £788,740.75, including interest. It seeks compensation for injury to feelings, aggravated damages, past and future earnings, the loss of an MP’s pension, counselling costs and the “loss of a chance”, or “loss of political capital”.

But in a counter-schedule filed on Friday, the Lib Dems described Campanale’s claim as “grossly inflated and egregious”. Their lawyers say £14,000 should be awarded for injury to feelings, and as a volunteer political party member, Campanale could have been expected to withstand “rigorous political debate and criticism”. They put aggravated damages, past and future loss of earnings, an MP’s pension and the loss of political capital at £0.

Campanale says he was mocked and abused over his Christian beliefs and faced an organised campaign to remove him, while some activists refused to campaign for him.

In his claim Campanale said that at a meeting in January 2022, he was questioned about his Christianity by about 30 people and asked whether he was enjoying his “martyrdom just like Jesus did”. He also claims he was excluded from election leaflets and told not to campaign in certain wards because activists disagreed with his beliefs.

His claim also referred to a phone call in March 2022 in which he said Luke Taylor, his replacement, told him that he had no right to a conscience based on his faith and that a “secular party” was being built with no place for Christians.

After Campanale was removed, Taylor won the seat with a majority of 3,801. The seat has since become safer territory for the Lib Dems with recent polls putting them well ahead of the Conservatives.

The case has prompted criticism from senior Liberal Democrat figures inside and outside the party. The former leader Tim Farron and former deputy leader Simon Hughes have backed calls for an independent inquiry. Farron has urged the party to apologise, saying there had been “manifest discrimination” against Campanale and party figures at all levels of the party failed to intervene.

COMMENT

As seen in the above article the Lib Dems are clearly anti-Christian. That does not seem a very liberal attitude.

The area where he would have been a candidate is strongly Lib Dem. And so he could reasonably expect 2 or 3 terms in Parliament, which could be up to 15 years.

The salary of an MP is £98,599. To simplify the mats, this is approx £100,000 and so over 15 years that would be £1.5 million. He should reasonably sue for that amount.

Whilst the Lib Dems are clearly anti-Christianity, they are demonstrably pro-Islam.

There was an article on the main Lib Dem party website claiming that Islam is liberal. Delusional claptrap. The article has now disappeared, however there is an article on the Lib Dem Voice website that refers to it, and quotes the main paragraphs from it. See my article linked to below.

There is mounting evidence that the Lib Dems are in full appeasement of Islam mode. Numerous of their MPs have replied to my emails, making excuses for Islam. See my articles linked to below.

If the Lib Dems truly believed in liberalism and democracy then they would be staunchly anti-Islam. Something has gone very badly wrong with them.

Liberal Prime Minister William Gladstone was staunchly opposed to the Ottoman Empire. A quote is attributed to him, as he held the Koran: “So long as there is this book, there will be no peace in the world”. Unfortunately the quote cannot be verified. And hence critics claim it did not happen. The reality is that speeches in Parliament were not as rigorously recorded then as they are now. It is not possible to prove the absence of something.

A former archbishop of Canterbury has accused Nigel Farage of misusing the UK’s Christianity “to channel anti-Muslim feeling” and said he also had “some awkward questions” for the far-right activist Tommy Robinson.

Dr Rowan Williams, who was the archbishop of Canterbury for 10 years until 2012, said there was an “inevitable scepticism these days about some claims to religious conviction”.

Speaking to the New Humanist magazine, Williams said: “I suspect really that Farage and others want to channel anti-Muslim feeling, and it helps to have ‘we’re a Christian society’ to fling back. It gives a sort of ballast.”

Asked what he believed was driving Christian nationalism in the UK, Williams said: “There are lots of possible causes. Anxiety about migration, anti-Islamism. In France, that anxiety has a secular aspect, but the St George’s Cross still means something in the English imagination, which still has a Christian aspect.

“The second thing is the globalising of all political discourse. The message given at international Christian conservative gatherings is that self-respecting nationalist movements need a bit of theology injected into them.

“Ironically, for someone like Nigel Farage, it’s about trying to find a presentational strategy that allows him to be taken seriously outside England. He’s often not here, after all.

“Then again, if we’re looking for what animates Christian nationalism, I think it’s in part the very simple search for someone to blame.”

The Reform UK leader posted online at Easter stating: “The Christian values on which our country is built are something to be proud of.” In 2024, he prompted criticism after suggesting there were “a growing number of young people in this country who do not subscribe to British values, in fact loathe much of what we stand for”. He confirmed he was referring to Muslims.

Earlier this year, Farage criticised an iftar in Trafalgar Square, saying the religious fast-breaking event in London was an “attempt to overtake, intimidate and dominate our way of life”.

Last year, Reform UK announced the appointment of the theologian James Orr – an academic who has influenced Donald Trump’s US administration – as a senior adviser to Farage.

Robinson, whose real name is Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, has spoken about taking Bible studies while in jail and said he was now a Christian, having grown up Catholic but not practised. In December, he led a carol concert to “put the Christ back into Christmas” and his Unite the Kingdom march in London earlier this year saw some participants carry wooden crosses and chant “Christ is king”.

Williams told the magazine: “There’s an inevitable scepticism these days about some claims to religious conviction, and I don’t want to give way to this. If Tommy Robinson is doing his best to lead a life of Christian discipleship, I’m very glad, but I would really want to ask him some awkward questions.

“I would ask him how attempting to lead a life of Christian discipleship squares with public rhetoric designed to produce hostility and violence.

“And although Nigel Farage thought it was worth getting a theologian on board for Reform UK, I don’t think he lies awake at night thinking about his soul. I may be doing the man an injustice, but I don’t believe he cares about profound theological questions.”

ROWAN WILLIAMS ENABLED SHARIA COUNCILS

Sharia councils are de facto Sharia courts.

In 2008 Archbishop Rowan Williams made various pronouncements about Sharia councils, suggesting that elements of Sharia law should be introduced into the UK.

There was a considerable level of objection. However the Government did indeed make Sharia councils officially recognised. With the support of Lord Chief Justice Lord Phillips Matravers. He is Jewish. His own grandparents had fled from Egypt, to avoid persecution as a result of the application of Sharia principles. One wonders what they would think of their own grandson enabling such principles.

The Archbishop of Canterbury drew criticism from across the political spectrum last night after he backed the introduction of sharia law in Britain and argued that adopting some aspects of it seemed “unavoidable”. Rowan Williams, the most senior figure in the Church of England, said that giving Islamic law official status in the UK would help to achieve social cohesion because some Muslims did not relate to the British legal system.

His comments, in a lecture on civil and religious law given at the Royal Courts of Justice, were swiftly rebutted by the prime minister’s spokesman, who insisted British law would be based on British values and that sharia law would be no justification for acting against national law.

“Our general position is that sharia law cannot be used as a justification for committing breaches of English law, nor should the principles of sharia law be included in a civil court for resolving contractual disputes. If there are specific instances, like stamp duty, where changes can be made in a way that’s consistent with British law ... to accommodate the values of fundamental Muslims, that is something the government would look at.”

Williams was also criticised by the Tory peer Sayeeda Warsi, shadow minister for community cohesion and social action. “The comments may add to the confusion that already exists in our communities,” she said ... “We must ensure people of all backgrounds and religions are treated equally before the law. Freedom under the law allows respect for some religious practices. But let’s be clear: all British citizens must be subject to British laws developed through parliament and the courts.”

Sharia law sets out a broad code of conduct for all aspects of life, from diet, wearing of the hijab to marriage and divorce.

British courts do not recognise Islamic marriages performed in this country unless they are registered separately with the civil authorities. The result is that some Muslims think they are protected by family law when they are not, and others can think they are properly divorced, when they are still married. However, Britain recognises Islamic marriages and divorces conducted in Muslim countries such as Pakistan or Bangladesh.

Under Islamic law polygamy is condoned, allowing a man up to four wives and giving him the primary right to call for divorce. This means he can leave his first wife, refuse her a divorce and remarry, yet still consider himself living in accordance with his faith.

Some Muslim groups supported Williams’ views. The Ramadhan Foundation, an educational and welfare body, said the speech was “testament to his attempts to understand Islam and promote tolerance and respect between our great faiths”.

More than 800 people were in the Great Hall of the Royal Courts of Justice in London for last night’s speech, while another 200 poured into the overspill marquee.

Williams said introducing sharia law would mean Muslims would no longer have to choose between two systems.

“If what we want socially is a pattern of relations in which a plurality of diverse and overlapping affiliations work for a common good, and in which groups of serious and profound conviction are not systematically faced with the stark alternatives of cultural loyalty or state loyalty, it seems unavoidable,” he said.

Earlier, in a BBC interview, the archbishop was more succinct. He said it was a “matter of fact” that sharia law was already practised in Britain. “We already have in this country a number of situations in which the internal law of religious communities is recognised by the law of the land ... There is a place for finding what would be a constructive accommodation with some aspects of Muslim law, as we already do with some kinds of aspects of other religious law.”

He did not endorse, however, the “kind of inhumanity” that was associated with sharia law in some Islamic states.

Britain’s most senior judge reopened one of the most highly charged debates in Britain last night when he said he was willing to see sharia law operate in the country, so long as it did not conflict with the laws of England and Wales, or lead to the imposition of severe physical punishments.

The remarks by the lord chief justice, Lord Phillips, in a speech to the London Muslim Council yesterday, had a conscious echo of the comments made by the archbishop of Canterbury, Rowan Williams, in February who argued that sharia law could sometimes be used in Britain.

The archbishop, who suggested “sharia law was rooted in the sense of doing God’s will in the ordinary things of law”, was later forced to retract the statement.

Phillips insisted last night there was “widespread misunderstanding” of the nature of sharia law, and argued: “There is no reason why sharia principles, or any other religious code, should not be the basis for mediation or other forms of alternative dispute resolution [with the understanding] ... that any sanctions for a failure to comply with the agreed terms of mediation would be drawn from the Laws of England and Wales.”

He also suggested sharia principles should be applied to marriage arrangements.

Less controversially, Phillips backed the creation of specialist financial products and services which comply with sharia principles, something the UK Treasury has acknowledged since 2002.

The lord chief justice, in an address broadly designed to reassure the Muslim community that it was treated equally under British law, stressed that he was not countenancing “any notion of sharia courts operating in this country and seeking to impose such punishments”.

He said: “There can be no question of such courts sitting in this country, or such sanctions being applied here.

“So far as the law is concerned, those who live in this country are governed by English and Welsh law and subject to the jurisdiction of the English and Welsh courts.”

In the most controversial section, Phillips said: “ It was not very radical to advocate embracing sharia law in the context of family disputes, for example, and our system already goes a long way towards accommodating the archbishop’s suggestion.

“It is possible in this country for those who are entering into a contractual agreement to agree that the agreement shall be governed by a law other than English law. Those who, in this country, are in dispute as to their respective rights are free to subject that dispute to the mediation of a chosen person, or to agree that the dispute shall be resolved by a chosen arbitrator or arbitrators.

“So a Muslim woman who divorced according to Sharia principles would be free to marry again, but not if she only went to a civil court.

“But as far as aspects of matrimonial law are concerned, there is a limited precedent for English law to recognise aspects of religious laws, although when it comes to divorce this can only be effected in accordance with the civil law of this country.”

Although he admitted some Muslim countries interpret sharia law as calling for severe physical punishment, Phillips insisted there was a misconception that sharia law is “only about mandating sanctions, such as flogging, stoning the cutting off of hands or death for those that fail to comply with the law”.

Usama Hasan, imam at Al-Tawhid Mosque, Leyton, and an adviser to the Islamic Sharia Council, the longest-established body of its kind in the UK, gave a cautious welcome to Phillips’ speech.

He said: “[Phillips] is talking about provisions that are already out there for mediation and conflict resolution. Muslim couples would prefer to have their personal disputes to be settled by a sharia scholar because such a ruling would affect their status.

“Aspects of Jewish divorce law have long been part of English law and it seems reasonable for Muslims to have the same treatment, but it can’t lead to inequality or a splintering of British society.”

He added that it was difficult to have a sensible discussion about sharia law in the UK because the issue is “like a red rag” in the public’s mind.

Backstory

Parts of the lord chief justice’s speech read like a more coherent version of what the Archbishop of Canterbury said in February regarding Sharia law. Indeed, Phillips chaired Williams’ address at the Royal Courts of Justice. Both agreed that it was possible for individuals to voluntarily conduct their lives obeying Sharia principles, without this being in conflict with rights that were guaranteed by English law. Williams said some aspects of Islamic personal law, relating to marriage for example, could benefit from being included in the legal system as a way to accommodate Muslims who did not defer to British law. At no point did he, or Phillips, endorse Islamic law’s harshest penalties. Nor did they call for a parallel legal system for Muslims living in Britain.

WHY DO I QUOTE GUARDIAN ARTICLES?

The Guardian is a very left wing newspaper. I am not endorsing its stance.

However, it is one of the few newspapers that keep its articles freely accessible online. Most others are behind paywalls. For example the Express had all of its articles free to read, but now many are behind paywalls, and those that are not now have very annoying adverts popping up.

THE CHURCH OF ENGLAND SHAMELESSLY ENABLES ISLAM

I have directly witnessed the appeasement.

I attended a series of seminars on Islam and Christianity at Wells Cathedral in Jan / Feb 2020.

The first seminar was led by the Canon Theologian Professor David Thomas. He became irate when it was questioned whether Allah and God are the same being. He angrily replied “If they are not we are wasting our time.” I suspect that he has wasted several decades of his time. That question really is at the core of the matter. He refused to answer it properly, and became stroppy.

The second seminar was led by the then Cathedral Chancellor Rev Rob James. He has subsequently moved elsewhere, so do not berate the current Chancellor who had nothing to do with this.

Rev James proudly stated that he prays Islamic prayers alongside Muslims, and had done this on three occasions. But he only prays the part he agrees with. Since Islamic prayers only have validity with Allah if prayed in Arabic, presumably he is fluent in Arabic.

In discussion afterwards he refused to agree that Mohammed was a false prophet. Jesus told us how to recognise false prophets - by their fruits. The fruits of Mohammed are utterly rotten and evil.

I subsequently wrote a book: “How the Church Enables Islam”. The front cover shows the very unusual architecture within Wells Cathedral. There is cross-bracing in stone. The two circles give the appearance of eyes. While the imam was preaching from the Koran I had a very distinct impression that those were devil eyes staring down at the congregation. The Wells clergy had enabled evil to enter. Despite the best efforts of myself and three concerned friends, who had contacted the clergy during the preceding 2 weeks, to try to prevent the service going ahead.

Allowing contrary religions to be preached on church premises is strictly forbidden in Canon Law. The Wells Clergy have never been admonished as far as I am aware.

I wrote another book, with unfortunately a similar title, it focuses more on the Roman Catholic church: “Enablers of Islam: The Church”. There is a fair amount of overlap. The common theme is that they are both appeasing Islam. Utterly shameful/

Two additional completely avoidable deaths associated with the University of Cambridge

There urgently needs to be an independent inquiry into their activities, before the body count rises further.

TRAGIC JASON ARDAY

The suicide of Jason Arday is a great tragedy and I sincerely wish that it had not happened. Children have lost their father.

All of us have flaws. The tragedy is that his became public, and he could not live with the consequences.

DEI IS EXTREMELY HARMFUL

The primary blame must of course be pinned onto DEI. This has been encouraged and enforced by successive Governments, and by many organisations and institutes - including the RAF a few years ago, when they blatantly and deliberately discriminated against white males! I hope that if any good comes from this suicide, it will be to rid the UK and hopefully elsewhere too of the scourge of DEI.

DEI is harmful to BAME people who hold positions of authority. There will always be a question hanging over their legitimacy: did they reach that position purely on their own merit, or was the HR department trying to fulfil a DEI quota? If we rid ourselves of DEI entirely, and appoint people purely on merit and not on skin colour or other characteristics, then it would make for a far more wholesome and effective workplace.

I wish we could treat everyone equally irrespective of race. I am in agreement with Rev Martin Luther King and his famous “I have a dream” speech:

“I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character. I have a dream today.”

For this dream to be realised, we really must rid ourselves of DEI.

THERE MUST BE AN INQUIRY

There needs to be an urgent inquiry into the activities of the University of Cambridge. The tragedy of Jason Arday is not the first entirely avoidable death associated with Cambridge. I wish to remind you of two others.

The University of Cambridge organised a conference, held at Fishmongers’ Hall, London, in November 2019. A jihadi had been released from prison in order to attend. He murdered two young adults, graduates of Cambridge, and injured several others.

Several courageous people contained him, until the police arrived.

And why was the jihadi let out of prison? Purely because of the naive stupidity and wishful thinking of those organising the conference.

The jihadi had been part of their programme of rehabilitation. He had written a letter, copied below. In which he claimed to want to be a “good Muslim”. Anyone with an accurate understanding of Islam would realise that this phrase should ring alarm bells. For this basic reason: what Islam regards as good is NOT at all what you or I regard as good.

EVERYONE NEEDS AN ACCURATE UNDERSTANDING OF ISLAM

If you have read the Koran, particularly the later revealed and hence more relevant chapters such as chapter 9, you will know for a fact that Islam commands Muslims to murder non-Muslims. Koran 9:5 and Koran 9:111 are key verses that you must read. And so a “good Muslim”, one who follows the Koran accurately and obeys its commands, is very likely to want to murder non-Muslims. And will do if the circumstances exist.

You may object and state that there are millions of peaceful Muslims. The difference between them and the jihadi is just their circumstances. It is more advantageous for Islam overall if the “peaceful” Muslims keep a low profile, and have numerous children. And thereby play their part in the eventual domination of Islam over Western nations via demographic changes. And crucially, while not being opposed in any meaningful way by Western Governments. In contrast, a widespread violent jihad confrontation would trigger a rapid and effective response from Governments. And that is precisely what those who seek the domination of Islam wish to avoid. They are happy to wait patiently for a number of decades, in order to achieve their aims.

SUCCESSIVE GOVERNMENTS HAVE ALLOWED THE PROBLEM TO WORSEN

Those who are in the habit of giving Islam excuses are very much part of the problem. They are enabling a dire future for their own children and grandchildren under the jackboot of Islam. I ask them to please snap out of their folly before time runs out for the UK. Please study Islam carefully.

And do not take your information on Islam from Muslims. They will blatantly lie in order to shield Islam from criticism. If you are initially ignorant then you are highly unlikely to be able to recognise when you are being lied to. They can be extraordinarily persuasive. Instead, listen to non-Muslim scholars such as Robert Spencer, and listen to ex-Muslims.

Robert Spencer is a scholar of Islam, and is highly knowledgeable, and has written many books. He was banned from entering the UK by the then Home Secretary Theresa May. The Conservatives are thus every bit as culpable of shielding Islam from criticism as are Labour or the Lib Dems. Speaking more recently, Robert Spencer stated that the ban is still in place as far as he is aware. The Government should publicly lift the ban, if it is serious about tackling this evil. You need to urgently take heed of critical voices such as his. And invite him as a respected guest to assist Parliamentary committees that aim to tackle the problems associated with Islam.

IGNORANCE IS PLAINLY OBVIOUS TO THE KNOWLEDGEABLE

It is very easy for me to identify when a non-Muslim has a poor understanding of Islam. For example, they state that the month of Ramadan is a “holy month” when giving their greetings to Muslims. It is not. There are four sacred months in the Islamic calendar and Ramadan is not one of those four. King Charles for example frequently gets this basic fact about Islam wrong. None of his numerous Muslim advisers on Islam appear to have corrected his theological blunder.

Successive Governments have blatantly lied to the public regarding Islam - Labour, Conservative, and the Conservative-Lib Dem coalition. Why have they lied? Because the truth is too awful to contemplate. And once the awful reality is acknowledged, that Islam itself is the problem and not just “Islamism” or “radical Islam” or other such deceitful terms, the UK Government would then have an obligation to rid the UK of Islam entirely. The first duty of Government is the protection of the citizens. Islam is an existential threat to us all. Please publicly acknowledge this fact, and then take the necessary actions, however hard they may be. Everyone must fulfil their duty.

SIR DAVID AMESS

A start on this serious task of examining Islam itself honestly would to be to hold an inquiry into the jihad murder of Sir David Amess. The blame MUST be pinned onto Islam itself, not just “Islamism”. It is in the urgent interest of every non-Muslim MP, across parties, for there to be this inquiry. His daughter Katie Amess has repeatedly called for this inquiry, and has been rebuffed by successive Governments.

Islam itself is to blame. You do not have to take my word for it, do some research of your own. Please read the Koran to identify the problems for yourself. If you do not already have a copy, purchase the Abrogated Koran, and as a minimum read chapter 9. It is the more recently revealed of the major chapters, and hence is of the highest relevance. Many of its violent intolerant verses abrogate, effectively delete, more peaceful verses in earlier revealed chapters. A standard Koran does not identify which verses are the abrogators and which are the abrogated, leading to endless confusion. The Abrogated Koran does clearly identify verses by category, and is thus a necessary study aid. Available as paperback and ebook, here only:

SUMMARY

There must be an urgent inquiry into the activities of the University of Cambridge, before the body count rises even higher. Not just the faculty of which Jason Arday was a member, but also the faculty that allowed the murder of two Cambridge graduates at Fishmongers’ Hall by a jihadi, which was entirely avoidable with even a basic understanding of Islam.

The letter by the jihadi, which should have rung alarm bells, is copied below. Be aware that Muslims do not regard deceiving non-Muslims as immoral. Within Islam there are several named types of deceit. And if you try to discuss them with a Muslim, they will blatantly lie about this topic too! Your really must not base your understanding of Islam on what Muslims will tell you about it! Pay careful attention to ex-Muslims. They understand it from the inside and have no interest in being deceitful about it. The truth is awful enough.

At the root of all three completely avoidable deaths associated with the University of Cambridge is an unwillingness to be truthful and accurate. If that core principle had been applied rigorously then all three would still be alive today.

If politicians had been absolutely honest with the public regarding Islam, rather than blatantly lying about it to shield it from criticism, as successive Prime Ministers from Tony Blair onwards have done, we would not be in the dire crisis that we now find ourselves in. Absolute honesty is now an urgent necessity, if we are to have any hope of extricating ourselves from this existential crisis. We have tried naive wishful thinking for over two decades now, and it clearly has not worked.

Dear [redacted],

As you are fully aware of my offence, which is a Terrorism offence. It relates more to what I intended and the mindset at that time, also the views I carried. Which I realise now after spending some time to think were not according to Islam and its teachings.

I would be greatful if you could arrange some kind of course, that I can also do where I can properly learn Islam and its teachings, and I can prove I don’t carry the extreme views which I might have carried before. I have been inform [sic] there are courses like this, like the Deradicalisation Course which is approved by the home office. I would like to do such a course, so I can prove to the authorities, my family and society in general that I don’t carry the views I had before my arrest and also I can prove that at the time I was immature, and now I am much more mature and want to live my life as a good Muslim and also a good citizen of Britain.

So if you could arrange something for me and send me the details, this would be truly appreciated.”

TWO ENTIRELY AVOIDABLE DEATHS

The murder of two University of Cambridge graduates by a jihadi was entirely avoidable, if there had been even a modicum of understanding of Islam. With such an understanding the alarm bells would have rung when the perpetrator had stated that he wanted to be a “good Muslim”. If such an alert had been raised, he would certainly not have been let out of prison to go on his murderous rampage.

Two lives were needlessly lost, as a direct consequence of naive wishful thinking ignorance.

For someone with a naive understanding of Islam, that phrase “good Muslim” probably brought to mind someone who prays and fasts and maybe would go on pilgrimage to Mecca. They would not envisage a Muslim strapping a fake suicide belt to themselves, and taping two knives to their wrists and then going on a stabbing spree - murdering two and injuring several more.

The University of Cambridge is to blame, as it is too for the tragic suicide of Jason Arday. They are out of control, and must urgently be audited, before the body count increases further.

A conference on offender rehabilitation was held on 29 November 2019 in Fishmongers’ Hall, at the northern end of London Bridge, in the City of London, to celebrate the fifth anniversary of Learning Together, a programme run by the Cambridge Institute of Criminology to help offenders reintegrate into society following their release from prison.^[4] Learning Together was set up in 2014 by University of Cambridge academics Ruth Armstrong and Amy Ludlow from the Faculty of Law and Institute of Criminology^[5] to “bring together people in criminal justice and higher education institutions to study alongside each other in inclusive and transformative learning communities”^[6] to enable students and prisoners to work together.^[5]

Former prisoner Usman Khan had been invited to the conference as a previous participant in the programme,^[7] and although banned from entering London under the terms of his release, he was granted a one-day exemption to attend.^[8][9]

FIRE EXTINGUISHER AS AN EFFECTIVE WEAPON AGAINST JIHADIS

When confronted with an attacker with a knife, you need some object to keep them out of range. Whatever that object may be - a chair for example, or your coat held at arms length.

Several brave people tackled Usman Khan. One with a Narwal tusk that was on display in Fishmongers’ Hall. Another with a fire extinguisher.

It was an incredibly brave thing to do - he had two knives and what appeared to be a belt of explosives. It turned out to be fake, but they did not know that at the time.

It turns out that a fire extinguisher is a good choice. In this particular case the person using it was directing the spray at the explosive belt. In those circumstances I would have directed the spray at the eyes of the perpetrator. Temporarily blinding him. Then I would go behind him, out of the way of the knives, and used the fire extinguisher as a club, striking down on his head and hopefully rendering him unconscious.

Whenever I attend a public meeting I look around for the fire extinguisher, and position myself near it. You never know if a jihadi might burst in.

It is a tragedy that these two young adults were murdered. But entirely avoidable, if only Cambridge University had a modicum of understanding of Islam. I wrote to the university shortly after the attack, my letter is copied below. Needless to say, I received no replies.

Below is a short chapter “Duty of Care” from my book “Hellish 2050”. My letter below is also in that book. That is the book that got me fired from the University of Bath at the end of November 2019. My firing was nearly exactly coincident with the attack. I added the chapter below and letter to a later edition of the book. A paperback copy of this later edition of the book, together with the letter, was sent to the three professors at Cambridge University most closely associated with these events. Of course, none of them replied.

That is not the only strange coincidence of dates. I subsequently wrote a book “Concise Islam” and posted the paperback copy to nearly all MPs. Excluding Sinn Fein MPs and Muslim MPs. Everyone else was sent a copy. Sent in batches of around 50 copies, spread over a couple of weeks. By very strange coincidence the final batch was posted on the very morning that Sir David Amess was murdered by a jihadi. 15th October 2021. I sent the books to Conservatives first, and as his surname starts with an A he was in the first batch. It is highly likely that he received it before he was murdered. I so wish that he had read it and taken adequate security precautions. Non-Muslims need to realise that Islam hates us even if we help Muslims. Sir David Amess had helped Muslims in his constituency, but that did not shield him from the anger of a jihadi. The Koran commands Muslims to hate us.

CHAPTER: DUTY OF CARE

“15th Monday October 2012

Mr. USMAN KHAN, HMP Belmarsh

Dear [redacted],

As you are fully aware of my offence, which is a Terrorism offence. It relates more to what I intended and the mindset at that time, also the views I carried. Which I realise now after spending some time to think were not according to Islam and its teachings.

I would be greatful if you could arrange some kind of course, that I can also do where I can properly learn Islam and its teachings, and I can prove I don’t carry the extreme views which I might have carried before. I have been inform [sic] there are courses like this, like the Deradicalisation Course which is approved by the home office. I would like to do such a course, so I can prove to the authorities, my family and society in general that I don’t carry the views I had before my arrest and also I can prove that at the time I was immature, and now I am much more mature and want to live my life as a good Muslim and also a good citizen of Britain.

So if you could arrange something for me and send me the details, this would be truly appreciated.”

This is the letter written by convicted Jihadi terrorist Usman Khan, who in 2012 received an indeterminate sentence for numerous terrorism offences. At the Court of Appeal in 2013, Lord Justice Leveson reduced his sentence to 16 years with an automatic release after 8 years.

In prison he completed the “Healthy Identity Intervention Programme”. After release he did the “Desistance and Disengagement Programme”, intended to address the root causes of terrorism.

He was considered a success story for the “Learning Together” programme run by the University of Cambridge. At their conference on 29th November 2019, at Fishmongers’ Hall, London, Usman Khan stabbed five people, two fatally.

He was wearing a fake suicide belt. The two who were killed had befriended and helped him. Khan was later shot dead by police.

What lessons are to be learned?

• Never trust anything that a Jihadi terrorist says. Muslims are permitted to tell lies, look up: “taqiyya”, “kitman”, “tawriya”, and “muruna”.

• In his letter, Khan stated that he wanted to be a “good Muslim”. This should have rung alarm bells. A good Muslim is one who follows Islamic scripture, particularly the Koran, and the example of the life of Mohammed. The Koran has numerous instructions for Muslims to kill non-Muslims. Mohammed did this himself and ordered his followers to do so too.

• It is not permitted for a Muslim to be a friend of a non-Muslim. See Koran 9:23, 5:51, 5:80, 58:14, 22:4, 4:89, 4:139, 4:144, 60:1, 60:9, 60:13. For the staff at the University of Cambridge to believe that they had befriended Khan shows a gross naïvety and lack of understanding of Islam.

• The “Desistance and Disengagement Programme” needs to be clear that the root cause of Jihadi terrorism is the Koran and the example of the life of Mohammed.

Two young lives were tragically lost and others were injured physically and mentally - as a result of the naïve idea that Muslims do not in fact believe in the violent verses within the Koran. The University of Cambridge utterly failed in its duty of care to those attending its conference. Not surprising, when you consider the Government has failed in its duty of care for the whole UK. It permits Islam to thrive.

The Guardian newspaper article “Lie-detector tests planned for convicted terrorists freed on licence” was published on 21 Jan 2020. It states: “Convicted terrorists will face lie-detector tests under a raft of measures drawn up in the wake of the most recent London Bridge attack to toughen up the monitoring of offenders in the community.”

“The number of counter-terrorism specialist probation officers will double and they will work to a set of updated national standards for managing terrorists on licence, with closer monitoring and reporting requirements including polygraph tests, the Home Office and Ministry of Justice said in a joint announcement.” …

“The review will be led by Jonathan Hall QC, the independent reviewer of terrorism legislation.” …

“A counter-terrorism bill to be unveiled within the first 100 days of the new government will end automatic release on licence for terrorist offenders who receive extended determinate sentences and will introduce a mandatory minimum of 14 years in prison for those convicted of preparing acts of terrorism or directing a terrorist organisation.” …

“The government will also increase the number of specialist psychologists and specially trained imams in prisons and probation who assess the risk of radicalised offenders.”

There is a fundamental problem with using lie detectors on Muslims: Islam permits them to tell lies! There is no moral injunction within Islam for them to tell the truth. Indeed their scripture quotes Mohammed commanding them to deceive.

Look up: “taqiyya”, “kitman”, “tawriya”, and “muruna”. It is unlikely that there would be a physiological reaction, such as sweating, when a Muslim lies for Allah, hence the lie detector test would be useless. The “specially trained imams” are also permitted to lie. The only way to safeguard the public is to impose life sentences for Jihadi terrorists.

The de-radicalisation programme in Austria is also failing:

LETTER TO THE UNIVERSITY OF CAMBRIDGE

Dear Professor,

Regarding the tragic events at Fishmongers’ Hall: My sympathies and condolences are with those who were attacked, and with those who witnessed it. And I wish a good recovery for those with physical and mental injuries.

I have some suggested recommendations, see the “Duty of Care” section in the enclosed book.

From an outside perspective there does seem to have been a lack of understanding of Islam itself. This appears to be at the root of the errors made. Specifically, Usman Khan wrote in his letter that he wanted to be a “good Muslim”. This statement should have rung alarm bells. A good Muslim will wish to follow accurately the Islamic scriptures, and the example of the life of Mohamed. Mohamed killed numerous people himself, including prisoners of war in cold blood. The Koran contains numerous verses which command the killing of non-Muslims. Importantly these verses have not been abrogated, and so remain as relevant today as when written some 14 centuries ago.

If you were to speak honestly about Islam this could have a negative effect on your career. I have de facto been sacked from the University of Bath because of the enclosed book and this website. Regarding the proposed use of lie detectors on terrorists – it is unlikely to help as Islam permits lying.

BACKGROUND

It is not a good impression to speak ill of the dead. However the factual reality must be addressed.

Jason Arday was a plagiarist and a fantasist. He made numerous fantastical claims which could not be verified. He was promoted to be a professor at the University of Cambridge.

The strong impression is that he was promoted due to DEI, and not through his own merit.

DEI is utterly corrosive of trust. It clearly adversely affects good competent people who are not “diverse” - white males in particular. It also very badly affects ethnic minorities. With DEI policies in place it will always put a question mark over an ethnic minority person, even if they gained a role purely due to merit, there will always be the question of whether they got there because they were black or whatever.

His suicide is clearly a tragedy and I wish it had not happened. But the University of Cambridge must bear a significant portion of the blame for it. And successive governments too, who have allowed DEI practices to proliferate over the course of several decades.

Rev Martin Luther King gave this famous speech:

"I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.”

I do wish this were the case too. However DEI is completely contrary to this wish.

Jason Arday’s death is tragic. But please spare us the sanctimonious complaints that he was merely an ‘obscure’ academic who was the victim of a racist witch-hunt. The probing and questioning and exposure were entirely legitimate. Arday was plainly guilty of plagiarism. He had also made a series of fantastical claims about his life and career. He ended up being appointed as a professor at one of the world’s most august seats of learning – where his students, who had worked extremely hard to get there, were paying large fees for the privilege of being taught by him. Far from being obscure, Arday had happily engaged with the media over many years, often repeating his false claims. He appeared on numerous TV shows and guest edited Radio 4’s flagship Today programme. He even carried the Olympic torch. Moreover, he had secured a major publishing deal for his autobiography, which was set to be released in Britain and the US just as the scandal broke. By no measure was this man ‘obscure’. When a fellow academic in Plymouth began to question his credentials, Arday (or someone close to him) made a complaint to the police. When a journalist from Times Higher Education started investigating, he was subjected to a police inquiry and also received a threatening letter from the leading libel solicitors, Carter Ruck. Arday and those around him were clearly not averse to hounding others when they felt like it. It’s very possible that Arday did not have sufficient support measures in place when he was finally exposed – but that’s on others. The investigation and questions amounted to legitimate journalistic inquiry. This was never just about Arday’s fabulism. It was also about the increasingly controversial philosophy of DEI, the obsession of our political, corporate and educational institutions with pushing that philosophy, and how it might have led to someone with Arday’s subpar credentials being appointed in the first place. These are all valid questions to ask – and, by asking them, journalists are simply doing their jobs.

The specifications are impressive. 80 Kg thrust (approx 160 lb).

You cannot simply scale thrust to horsepower because it depends on the speed. If it is able to fly at 375 mph giving that thrust, then that equates to 160 horsepower.

If that is so then at only 8.4 Kg weight, that is an impressive figure.

JIHADIS COULD MAKE THESE

There is a strong possibility that non-state actors could make such weapons. However if the target is civilian, they would more likely use suicide bombers. According to Koran 9:111 they are guaranteed paradise if they kill or are killed while fighting for the cause of Allah.

They might use such weapons against not easily accessible targets, such as military, the Royal Family, or the House of Commons.

What those in positions of power need to understand is this: it does not matter how much they appease Islam - Islam still has a hatred of them. Not for what they do necessarily but for what they are - namely they are unbelievers destined for hell.

The murder of Sir David Amess by a jihadi in 2021 is a classic example of this. He had helped the Muslim community in his constituency. But this was of no significance to the jihadi.

Those in government in particular need to wake up to the harsh reality of Islam. And then do something effective to counter it. Time is very rapidly running out.
