On August 22, 2026, Prime Minister Mark Carney announced that Canada was walking away from the latest proposed trade deal with the United States. To be precise, Canada has not withdrawn from every existing agreement with the United States. Carney suspended these negotiations. It’s a game of chess; the next move is forthcoming mid Sept 2027 or a sales tactic per say.

It is not about declaring one leader right and another wrong. It is about a much larger transformation appearing in Canada’s astrological chart—and a cycle that could completely reshape the country’s economic identity by 2028.

I use sidereal astrology, which follows the present-day positions of the constellations. In Canada’s sidereal chart, Mercury is in Cancer.

Mercury governs communication, negotiations, commerce, contracts, transportation and the agreements a country makes with other nations. Cancer is connected with home, security, protection, belonging and the instinct to preserve what belongs to us.

Jupiter is now moving through Cancer and favourably activating Canada’s Mercury. Jupiter expands whatever it touches. It broadens conversations, increases international connections and encourages a country to look beyond its previous boundaries.

Earlier this year, Canada and China announced a new strategic partnership. The countries have discussed cooperation and investment involving energy.

I have said for some time that China is operating at an extraordinarily high technological level. Recognizing China’s technological advancement does not mean agreeing with every action or policy of its government. We should be able to examine another country’s strengths without turning that country—or its people—into either heroes or enemies.

Other countries will also continue making agreements with China. It is part of a worldwide restructuring of trade, technology and political influence.

UAP Disclosure and reverse-engineered technology are a huge part of this behind the scenes.

The Planetary Influence

Jupiter activating Canada’s Mercury can open new doors. It can bring new negotiations, markets, ideas and partnerships. But Jupiter does not automatically promise that every decision will be successful. Jupiter makes things larger. It can expand opportunity, but it can also expand expectations and cause a country to move further or faster than anticipated.

Uranus is approaching an activation of Canada’s Mars at approximately 12 degrees of Leo.

Mars represents action, industry, defence, courage and the willingness to fight for independence. In Leo, it also represents national pride, leadership and the desire to be recognized as sovereign.

Uranus represents disruption, freedom, technology and sudden changes that break an established pattern. When Uranus activates Mars, events can move quickly. Governments may make unexpected decisions. Long-standing alliances can change direction.

This does not have to mean war or collapse. It can mean a struggle for greater autonomy. But Uranus and Mars together can also create impulsive reactions, escalating rhetoric and decisions made under enormous pressure.

For generations, the Canadian economy has been deeply integrated with the United States. Untangling even part of that relationship cannot happen without consequences. New trade partners may create exciting opportunities, Jupiters energy, but new infrastructure, shipping routes, technology, manufacturing and supply chains take time to develop. That’s Uranus and Mercury energy.

Be a Good Human

Some people will see Carney’s decision as necessary protection of Canadian sovereignty. Others will worry about higher prices, lost jobs and damage to a relationship that supports businesses and families on both sides of the border.

Both concerns can be legitimate.

Astrology does not require us to join a political team. It asks us to observe the cycle, recognize its possibilities and prepare for both its opportunities and its pressures.

• Jupiter says, “Expand your options.”

• Mercury in Cancer says, “Protect the home and renegotiate the relationship.”

• Uranus approaching Mars says, “The old economic arrangement cannot continue in exactly the same form.”

But this is only the beginning.

The deeper national transformation

This appears in 2028, when Pluto opposes Canada’s Mercury. This is a soul rebirth for Canada.

Pluto does not simply adjust something. Pluto exposes what is no longer sustainable, removes the illusion of control and forces a profound rebirth.

With Pluto opposing Mercury, Canada may have to transform the way it communicates, trades, negotiates and defines its relationship with the world. Agreements made now could be tested. Information, technology, transportation and economic power may become central national issues.

At the same time, both Pluto and Uranus will be activating Canada’s Mars. That makes 2028 a powerful convergence involving action, sovereignty, technology, trade and national identity.

PREDICTION

If Canada continues separating portions of its economy from the United States while strengthening relationships with China and other international partners, the practical effects may become much more noticeable by the spring and summer of 2028.

I am not predicting that Canada will fail, nor am I predicting that every new alliance will succeed. I am saying that this resembles a national soul rebirth.

But there is something even more important than trade agreements and political strategy.

We must not allow government disputes to convince ordinary Canadians and Americans that they are enemies.

Independence does not require hostility. Cooperation does not require submission. We can defend our country without dehumanizing another country’s people.

We should apply that same principle to China and every other nation. We can examine opportunities honestly, remain aware of risks and still refuse to participate in hatred and division.

This is my astrological interpretation of political news—not an endorsement of one political party, one government or one country over another.

The Jupiter–Mercury activation is opening the conversation. Uranus approaching Mars is accelerating the break from the old pattern. But Pluto’s opposition to Mercury in 2028 is where the deeper rebirth begins.

Because this is not simply about which country Canada trades with.

It is about who Canada is becoming. It is about who WE ARE BECOMING.

The news details are based on Carney’s official August 22 remarks. The China figures come from the official January 2026 Canada–China announcement.

1. Will YOU answer hatred with more hatred?

We must never make a brother guilty for his brother’s actions. We must never condemn an entire nation because one of its people. Collective blame is how hatred multiplies. It turns innocent people into targets and allows one terrible act to produce hundreds more.

This is proven in the STANFORD EXPERIMENT

Ancient spiritual teachings warned us about this pattern.

• The Bible says, “Love your neighbour as yourself.”

• Jesus taught, “Love your enemies; do good to those who hate you.”

• The Buddha taught that hatred never ends through hatred, but through love.

• The Zohar speaks of turning darkness into light and bitterness into sweetness.

• The Book of Enoch tells us to walk in righteousness and not in the paths of violence.

These teachings do not tell us to excuse cruelty. Love does not mean becoming passive, remaining in danger or pretending evil is acceptable. We can expose lies and demand justice. But justice seeks truth and accountability; hatred seeks someone—anyone—to punish.

That difference is becoming increasingly important.

2. People will be asked to choose what they feed. Some will feed fear, tribalism, revenge and the need to make whole groups responsible for the actions of individuals. Others will begin stepping away from manufactured division. They will refuse collective hatred and search for solutions that do not require another innocent person to suffer.

This is the Great Divide: not left against right, nation against nation or religion against religion, but fear against awareness, and repeated history against a new human response.

By June 2027: I believe we will understand much more clearly what this divide has been preparing us for. But the choice does not begin then. It begins now—in every word we share, every judgment we make and every moment when we decide whether another person’s hatred will be allowed to live through us.

The Great Divide is not merely something happening around YOU. It is a choice taking place within YOU.
