• March 2021: FBI opens the investigation.

According to the FBI documents, the Detroit Field Office learned on March 16, 2021 that the Michigan State Police, the Michigan Attorney General’s Office, and the Muskegon Police Department were already investigating suspicious voter-registration applications.

Among the findings:

• The Muskegon clerk’s office received six packages of voter-registration applications beginning around October 5, 2020.

• Investigators identified applications containing nonexistent addresses, invalid phone numbers, repeated handwriting, and mismatched signatures.

• Authorities estimated that 8,000 to 10,000 voter-registration applications had been submitted by individuals associated with the organization under investigation.

• Investigators also discovered prepaid debit cards, raising concerns that people may have been paid to register voters.

• Canvassing reportedly occurred across multiple Michigan cities, including Muskegon, Detroit, Ypsilanti, Southfield, Flint, and Lansing.

The FBI’s opening memorandum states that investigators believed sufficient factual predication existed to open a full federal criminal investigation.

One of the most important documents is an FBI memorandum dated May 19, 2023.

Investigators examined 107 voter-registration applications that the Muskegon Police Department had identified as potentially fraudulent.

According to the memo, 91 of the 107 individuals could not be located through FBI database searches.

The memorandum notes several possible explanations:

• The identities may have been fabricated.

• The identifying information may have been materially false.

• The information may have been so inaccurate that investigators could not identify the purported applicants.

The Canvassing Operation

The documents describe what investigators believed appeared to be an organized, paid voter-registration operation rather than ordinary volunteer activity.

According to witness interviews, canvassers were:

• Recruited to obtain voter registrations.

• Transported to different locations.

• Paid hourly or based on completed registrations.

• Paid through prepaid debit cards in some instances.

• Supervised through a hierarchy where high performers could become drivers or supervisors.

• Operating across multiple Michigan communities, with some witnesses claiming similar operations existed in other states.

Several former workers described an incentive structure focused heavily on production.

One witness said employees who collected more registrations earned promotions or additional pay and that some coworkers submitted duplicate applications.

Another witness stated she was paid according to the number of signatures collected and alleged that many employees submitted registrations containing false information.

Another interview described more than 100 canvassers working in the Muskegon area and alleged that top performers could travel to work in other states.

By itself, paying canvassers based on production does not prove criminal fraud.

However, investigators recognized that such compensation structures can create incentives to:

• Prioritize quantity over accuracy.

• Meet quotas regardless of data quality.

• Submit duplicate applications.

• Fabricate information to increase compensation.

This is one reason many election-integrity laws distinguish between hourly compensation and payment based directly on completed voter registrations.

Witness Testimony

Multiple former canvassers reportedly described:

• Duplicate voter registrations.

• Registrations containing false information.

• Supervisors rewarding high-volume production.

• Workers being compensated based on signatures or completed forms.

One witness alleged that some canvassers exchanged marijuana or cash for completed voter-registration applications and believed coworkers were submitting fictitious names.

Another witness stated that some workers believed the organization was supporting Joe Biden’s campaign and alleged that canvassers who were unable to obtain registrations were instructed to distribute pro-Biden campaign literature.

The FBI documents also include a complaint from a Michigan woman who reported that someone wearing Biden campaign clothing came to her home, offered to collect her absentee ballot, and offered to register her to vote electronically.

She declined.

According to the complaint, she later received both:

• A voter-registration card.

• An absentee ballot.

She stated she had never registered and destroyed the ballot.

If accurate, this allegation would differ from a defective paper registration because it would suggest a voter registration may have been created in the name of a real individual without her knowledge or consent.

Internal FBI Concerns

A November 2021 FBI email shows one employee expressing discomfort with closing the investigation.

The employee wrote that they were “not really comfortable closing the case” and cited Department of Justice election-fraud guidance that appeared to support further examination of fictitious registrations, false information, and payments connected to voter-registration activity.

What These Documents Show

Based on the released documents:

• Local authorities identified a significant number of suspicious voter-registration applications before the 2020 election.

• The FBI determined there was sufficient factual basis to open a full federal criminal investigation.

These documents go well beyond evidence of isolated clerical mistakes.

They describe an organized, paid voter-registration operation that generated thousands of registrations, a subset of applications containing significant anomalies, multiple witness allegations of duplicate or false registrations, and a lengthy federal investigation examining whether federal election crimes had occurred.

At the same time, the documents describe an investigation and allegations. They do not, by themselves, establish that every allegation was proven or that criminal convictions resulted from all of the conduct described.

It comes as no surprise that Jenan Mohajir, who proudly wears a hijab and has repeatedly declared that Islam inspires her as a woman, is perfectly comfortable attacking Christianity. In the worldview that inspires her, criticizing Christianity is not only allowed; it’s encouraged. Yet the very faith she credits for her strength would, in many Islamic nations, punish her for even questioning the hijab, let alone converting or speaking freely. That selective outrage tells you everything.

It also comes as no surprise that left-wing media outlets like USA Today are leading the charge with this anti-Christian rhetoric. For years they’ve treated any public expression of Christian faith - from school prayer to nativity scenes - as a threat to democracy, while bending over backward to excuse or ignore far worse abuses committed in the name of Islam.

They dress it up as opposition to “Christian nationalism,” but let’s be honest: this is plain old anti-Christianity. The same crowd that cheers “diversity” when it means tearing down crosses or mocking the Bible suddenly goes silent when churches are vandalized or Christmas is scrubbed from the public square. It’s not about pluralism. It’s about erasing the Judeo-Christian foundation that built the freest, most prosperous nation in history.

Here’s a simple challenge for miss Mohajir, Todd Green, USA Today, and every activist who nods along: name one majority-Islamic country where women enjoy the same rights, freedoms, and legal protections they have in the United States. Not “improving.” Not “better than it used to be.” Actual, full equality, characterized by: dress as they choose, drive without permission, inherit equally, divorce without penalty, run for office without fear of blasphemy charges, and live without the threat of honor-based violence or Sharia courts. Go ahead. We’ll wait.

You won’t find it. Because in nation after nation governed by Islamic law or dominated by Islamist ideology: Saudi Arabia, Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Yemen, Somalia - in all these countries, women remain second-class citizens by design. The same ideology that Mohajir says “inspires” her is the one that stones women for adultery, forces child brides, and treats female testimony as worth half a man’s in court. Yet the left’s media megaphone never calls that “authoritarian” or a “threat to pluralism.” They’re too busy hunting Christian bakers and high-school football coaches who pray in public.

And let’s talk about how the media is complicit in Islam’s growing foothold in the United States. They flood the airwaves with stories about “Islamophobia” the moment anyone questions open borders or demands assimilation, while burying or downplaying:

•  The establishment of parallel Sharia arbitration systems in American cities that treat women unequally.

•  Honor killings and female genital mutilation cases that occur on U.S. soil.

•  Mosques and organizations with documented ties to the Muslim Brotherhood or Hamas that operate freely while Christian groups face IRS scrutiny.

•  The demographic reality of mass migration from countries with abysmal records on religious liberty, women’s rights, and gay rights - coupled with a refusal to require newcomers to embrace American values.

Every time a Christian school or adoption agency is sued for living its faith, the media cheers. Every time a politician proposes vetting immigrants for compatibility with Western liberty, the same media screams “bigotry.” That’s not journalism. That’s ideological warfare - and it’s paving the way for the very authoritarianism they pretend to fear from Christians.

America’s strength has never come from pretending all belief systems are identical. It came from a culture rooted in individual liberty, limited government, and the idea that rights come from God, not the state. Christian nationalism isn’t the threat. The threat is a media-political complex that attacks the majority faith that built this country while giving a free pass to an ideology that has never produced a single society where women, Christians, Jews, atheists, or gays enjoy true equality.

If miss Mohajir and USA Today truly cared about pluralism and women’s rights, they’d spend less time demonizing American Christians and more time confronting the actual, documented oppression happening under the banner of the faith they defend. Until then, their “interfaith” concern is just anti-Christian activism with a hijab and a byline.

People love pretending the world is some buffet of equal choices. It isn’t. Most countries don’t give you the freedom to build something from nothing. Most countries don’t care if you sink, rise, or disappear. And the systems in those places? Corrupt. Slow. Unaccountable. Built on who you know, not what you can do.

So when I hear Americans complaining that their system is “broken,” I can’t help but laugh. Not because the complaints are completely wrong — trust me, American bureaucracy can drain the soul out of a strong man — but because so many people have no idea how good they truly have it.

America’s Flaws Are Real — But They’re Manageable

I’ve dealt with paperwork here, long lines, government inefficiency, and idiotic regulations. I’ve seen the border crisis, the bloated agencies, the political theater, and the elites who treat the country like their own private playground.

Yes — the system has flaws. Big ones.

But here’s the difference: In America, the system can be challenged. It can be changed. And above all, it can be beaten. In many places around the world, the system beats you.

Freedom Isn’t The Default — It’s The Exception

Americans grow up breathing freedom like air, so they don’t recognize its value. Immigrants do. Especially those of us who come from places where the government is the parent, not the servant.

• In some countries, you need permission to make money.

• In others, you need connections just to survive.

• In many, the police serve the government — not the citizens.

• And in too many places, speaking your mind is a luxury, not a right.

Here, you can disagree, protest, criticize, speak, and build — without asking anyone for permission. You can succeed because you worked, not because you bribed the right official.

That is rare.
That is precious.
And Americans often have no idea how fragile that really is.

The Imperfection Is Part of the Opportunity

A perfect system doesn’t exist. And honestly, you don’t want one. America’s imperfections create the gaps where opportunity lives. The free market is messy — and that’s exactly why you can outperform people. Democracy is loud — and that’s exactly why you can influence it. The government is slow — and that’s exactly why it can’t micromanage your entire life.

Imperfection creates space. Space creates opportunity.

You Can Build a Life Here — If You’re Willing to Work

I came with nothing. One suitcase, a little cash, and an accent that told everyone I wasn’t from here. I had no connections, no family, no shortcuts.

But the system still gave me three gifts that most countries never would:

1. The chance to try.

2. The ability to fail without being erased.

3. The freedom to try again.

That’s the real magic of America — not perfection, but possibility.

People Don’t Leave Perfect Countries

No one risks their life, sells everything, or leaves family behind because their system is “pretty good.” They leave because the place they came from crushed their potential.

Immigrants vote with their feet. If America were truly this oppressive, racist, doomed, collapsing place some describe, the border would be empty. But it isn’t.

People are still coming. People are still dreaming. People are still trying.

Why? Because even with all its issues, all its noise, all its chaos — America still gives you a shot.

We Should Fix the Problems — Not Pretend We’re the Problem

A strong country doesn’t deny its flaws. A weak country pretends it doesn’t have any.

But the most dangerous country of all is the one that convinces its citizens to hate their own system — while millions from the outside desperately try to join it. This is what I want Americans to understand:

You don’t need a perfect system. You need a fair one, a free one, and a fixable one. America still has all three.

I’ve lived under a system that didn’t care whether I lived or died. And now I live under a system that isn’t perfect — but gives me a fighting chance. I’ll take imperfect freedom over perfect control any day of the week. And if Americans don’t appreciate that… trust me, millions of immigrants around the world do.

People love to talk about privilege. Here’s the real privilege: communication.

Not race. Not gender. Not class. Communication.

If you can communicate in the dominant language of the country you live in, you’re already ahead of the people who can’t. You understand instructions. You negotiate. You advocate for yourself. You catch opportunities others don’t even see. This is why I have zero patience for immigrants who come to the U.S. and refuse to learn English, then complain that America is “hard.” Of course it’s hard. Every country is hard when you can’t speak the language. You don’t integrate. You don’t connect. You stay stuck.

And the worst part? It’s not even America holding you back — you’re holding yourself back.

I learned English fast because I didn’t want to be powerless.

When you arrive in a new country, everything is foreign:
The system. The culture. The paperwork. The humor. Even the small talk. Go travel the world and engage with regular people with “hi, how are you” and you will see the looks you get. But the minute English became second nature to me, doors opened. Not because Americans suddenly became nicer. Not because the system changed. But because I changed. I could defend myself at work. I could read contracts. I could negotiate pay. I could see through BS. I could build relationships.

You know what that’s called? Leverage. And competence creates leverage faster than anything else.

America is not anti-immigrant. It’s anti-handout.

People confuse the two.

America respects the immigrant who shows up, works, learns English, adapts, and contributes. It does not respect the immigrant who demands the country bend around them while giving nothing back. If that makes someone uncomfortable, good — discomfort often reveals truth. I learned quickly that this country rewards responsibility, not victimhood. The more English I mastered, the less excuse I had — which is exactly why I improved. I wanted to compete on equal footing.

And America let me.

Your English doesn’t need to be perfect. Just functional.

People obsess over having an accent. Listen: Nobody cares about your accent as much as you think.
They care about two things:

1. Can you communicate clearly?

2. Can you deliver value?

That’s it. I’ve met immigrants with heavy accents who make seven figures because they speak confidently and know their field. I’ve met immigrants with perfect grammar who are broke because they never developed skills or direction.

English is the tool — not the destination.

The immigrant advantage is real — but only if you activate it.

We know struggle. We know pressure. We know how to survive. We know how to push harder than the people who grew up with comfort. But that advantage collapses if we refuse to learn the language of the country that gives us the opportunity.

If you can speak English — even imperfect English — you’re already winning.

The only question left is whether you use that advantage or waste it.

That’s the part the professional victims never want to hear.

I’m what the left now calls a “conservative immigrant.” Translation: I showed up, worked like a rented mule, learned the rules, followed them, and refused to spend the rest of my life demanding that the country apologize for the fact that success is hard. I watch the new class of activists—many of them born here, some of them immigrants themselves—wrap themselves in the language of perpetual oppression and I feel something between pity and rage. Because I’ve seen where that road ends. I grew up on it.

Back home, victimhood was the national religion. Every problem—corruption, poverty, etc..—was somebody else’s fault. The British. The Americans. The IMF. The neighboring country. The previous government. Anyone but the people who kept voting for thieves and then acting shocked when the treasury was empty. We were world champions at grievance. We were bankrupt at everything else.

So when I landed here and heard the same tune in a different key, I recognized it instantly. Only now the chorus has better marketing and a Substack.

“Systemic racism.”
“White supremacy.”
“Decolonize everything.”
“Reparations now.”

It’s the same narcotic. It feels righteous. It absolves you of agency. And it keeps you exactly where you are.

I’m not saying injustice doesn’t exist. Of course it does. Life is not fair. But fairness was never the deal. The deal was opportunity. And opportunity is not a guarantee of success; it’s the absence of a guarantee of failure.

The moment you accept victimhood as your primary identity, you hand over the keys to your life. You wait for someone—government, corporations, white allies, “society”—to hand you what you think you deserve. And while you wait, years vanish. I’ve seen it here now, too: bright kids who could be engineers or entrepreneurs spending their twenties in protest marches and their thirties wondering why the revolution never paid rent.

The irony is that America actually rewards the opposite of victimhood. The harder you work, the luckier you get. The less you complain, the more doors open—partly because people are tired of the whining, but mostly because effort compounds. Nobody “dismantled the system” for me. I just outworked it.

And here’s the part that will make some of you furious: gratitude is a superpower. Being thankful that you woke up in a country where the police don’t ask for a bribe at every checkpoint, where the lights stay on, where your daughter can become a surgeon without someone deciding her future—that gratitude is rocket fuel. Victimhood is kryptonite.

I mentor young immigrants now. The ones who make it fastest are never the ones with the saddest stories. They’re the ones who treat their sad stories like rearview mirrors: useful for perspective, dangerous if you stare too long. They learn English like their life depends on it (because it does). They take the jobs nobody wants. They save 50% of every paycheck even when it hurts. They don’t march against “capitalism” while sipping $7 lattes and begging for student-loan forgiveness.

To the grievance entrepreneurs I say: enjoy the applause on Twitter. It doesn’t compound interest.

To the rest of you—especially the new arrivals clutching your first paycheck that still feels like a miracle—listen carefully:

No one is coming to save you.
Not the Democrats.
Not the Republicans.
Not the diversity officers.
Not your ethnic “community leaders” who drive nicer cars than you do.

You are on your own.
And that is the greatest gift this country gives its immigrants.

Stop waiting for permission.
Stop waiting for apologies.
Stop waiting for someone to notice how unfair it all is.

Build your life like a man escaping a burning building: everything you carry out is yours forever, and anything you go back for probably wasn’t worth having in the first place.

The trap is real. Victimhood is warm, well-lit, and always looking for new members.

Freedom is colder. It asks more of you. But it’s the only door that opens outward.

They were wrong. It was the best time to come.

Because when a country is on its knees, the difference between those who make it and those who don’t isn’t luck or connections or even education. It’s hustle. Pure, unapologetic, get-up-before-dawn hustle.

Back home we had almost no economic freedom, but we had plenty of excuses: the government, corruption, the oligarchs, history, the neighbors, the weather. You could spend an entire evening in a kitchen drinking tea and explaining exactly why nothing was your fault. America handed me something nobody in my family had seen in generations: a place where the system doesn’t actively try to crush you. And I noticed something strange—millions of people born into that gift treat it like a participation trophy.

I worked from 7am to 10 pm every day, seven days a week, no weekend off, no vacations, just grind and pure sacrifice. When people asked why I didn’t just “take it easy” I honestly didn’t understand the question. Taking it easy was what we did back home while the country slowly rotted. Taking it easy was a luxury paid for by someone else’s hustle.

Freedom isn’t a vibe. It’s not “chill” or “self-care” or posting infographics about late-stage capitalism. Freedom is a loaded gun sitting on the table, and you can either pick it up and hunt, or you can stare at it until someone else does.

I watch second- and third-generation Americans—kids who never had to bribe a cop to keep their father’s business open—complain that the game is rigged. Brother, I lived four people to a one-bedroom. Rigged is when the tax inspector shows up and asks how many daughters you have. Everything else is negotiable.

The most conservative thing I ever learned wasn’t from talk radio or church. It was this: personal responsibility is the only reliable antidote to tyranny. If you outsource your survival to the state, you will eventually outsource your freedom too. I didn’t come here for universal basic income or student-loan forgiveness theater. I came here because this is the one place on earth where a skinny kid with an accent and zero capital can still become un-poor if he refuses to blink.

And yes, I’m grateful. Wildly, embarrassingly grateful. Every time I pay my taxes (on time, in full, no whining), I think of the high rates my single mother paid to a government that delivered bread lines in return.

But gratitude without hustle is just sentimental conservatism—flag pins and tears during the national anthem. Real conservatism is waking up tomorrow and doing it again, harder, because nobody owes you continuation of the miracle.

The statue in New York harbor isn’t holding a government form. She’s holding a torch. Light it yourself or sit in the dark complaining about the power company.

I chose the torch.

And if you were born here and still haven’t figured out what to do with all this insane, historically unprecedented freedom, that’s fine. Just don’t be surprised when the guy who grew up listening to tanks rolling down his street out-works you, out-saves you, and eventually out-votes you.

Freedom isn’t fair. It’s just better than the alternative.

Now get to work.

Somewhere along the way, that message got lost. A new mindset has taken over — a mindset that believes opportunity equals entitlement. That because America is generous, it must also be responsible for whatever outcomes people want.

That is not how this country works. And it never has.

That’s why so many still come here. Despite all the noise, despite the critics who call America broken or “systemically” something — people still line up to get in, not out. They don’t flee to socialism, they flee from it.

That’s what makes us different. That’s what makes us exceptional.

Draining the swamp means ending the system where money trumps the people’s voice. Banning lobbying isn’t anti-business—it’s pro-freedom, pro-accountability, and pro-America. It’s time to make government work for us again.

It’s a fair question — and one conservatives should take seriously. But the truth is, this move isn’t about handouts or “nation-building.” It’s about protecting America’s strategic and economic interests in our own hemisphere, while reinforcing the very principles of sound economics and strong diplomacy.
