I have treated my face like an experiment over the years. Too much lip filler, too many unnecessary products, and enough trial and error to finally learn that more is not always more.

So, I spent this summer getting serious. I have been exercising consistently, hydrating, drinking less, staying out of the sun, and taking much better care of my skin. Sharing everything here is also my attempt to stay accountable. No picking, no sunbathing, and no last-minute treatments that could result in a crisis.

I have become more of a bridezilla than expected, but the routine is working. My workouts are officially down pat, with a huge shoutout to SotoMethod. Let me know if you want the full schedule next.

For now, here is everything I’m doing to look tight, young, fresh, and ready to get married.

The Products That Changed My Skin

Dr. Diamond’s team sent me the Metacine InstaFacial Plasma and Instafacial Emulsion, and I cannot overstate how much these have changed my skin.

My skin is naturally prone to redness, and since adding these, it looks noticeably calmer, more even, and just healthier. The Plasma is lightweight, while the moisturizer is deeply hydrating without feeling like I have coated my face in something heavy. I don’t use the moisturizer every single night, but maybe 2-3 times a week, just a preference on its texture.

These were gifted, but I will absolutely be replacing them when they run out, which is always the real test.

Botox, Obviously

Botox is always going to be part of the program for me. I go to Naz at Upkeep MedSpa in the West Village, and let’s just say I recently asked for more and she told me no. That is exactly how you know your girl is good.

I want to look refreshed and I really trust her to know when enough is enough, even when I apparently do not…

The $60 Facial Membership I’m Obsessed With

I signed up for a Glowbar membership, and I honestly think it might be one of the best value things I’m doing. I pay $60 a month for one facial, and I have now had two really great experiences at the Tribeca location.

Glowbar is no frills, but the Tribeca location is still quiet and relaxing. The point, however, is not really to spend an entire afternoon being pampered. You are there to get shit done, take care of your skin, and carry on with your day.

I love that the facial is based on what my skin actually needs that month, and the membership keeps me accountable. Even if I get busy or stop paying attention to my routine, I know someone will be looking at my skin once a month and helping me stay on track.

It is low-cost, functional, and genuinely effective. A very easy 10/10 recommendation.

Vitamin C and SPF Every Morning

Every morning, I use the Innisfree Green Tea Enzyme Vitamin C Brightening Serum, followed by the Innisfree Daily UV Defense Sunscreen SPF 50+.

The serum is super light, layers well, and has been very easy to use consistently, which is half the battle with skincare. The sunscreen is also weightless, does not leave a white cast, and works well under makeup.

One of the biggest things I have focused on this summer is staying out of the sun. I really have not been in it much at all. It is not the most exciting part of wedding prep, but preventing new redness, discoloration, and sun damage feels smarter than trying to reverse all of it later.

The $20 Eye Cream That Basically Erased My Crow’s Feet

This is easily my favorite product in my entire routine and the one I have been telling everyone about: the VT Cosmetics Reedle Shot Firming Eye Cream.

I use it morning and night, and I swear my under eye lines and crow’s feet have become nearly invisible. I do not say that lightly. I have tried plenty of expensive eye creams that made absolutely no noticeable difference, and somehow this one is around $20 and has completely changed the skin around my eyes.

If you buy one product from this entire list, make it this one. It is that good.

My Red Glasses

I have also been wearing these red-tinted glasses at night to block the blue light from my phone and TV that can mess with your circadian rhythm and sleep. They take some getting used to, but I swear by them. They help me start feeling sleepy, and I definitely sleep a little deeper when I remember to wear them.

My Everyday Moisturizer

I use the ILLIYOON Ceramide Ato Lotion every day. It is a very simple, lightweight ceramide moisturizer made for dry and sensitive skin, and it keeps my skin hydrated without irritating it or competing with everything else in my routine.

This is not the glamorous part of wedding prep, but maintaining my skin barrier and not constantly attacking my face with actives has probably made one of the biggest differences.

My Emergency AC Hydration

When I have been sitting inside in air conditioning for hours and can feel my skin drying out in real time, I use this Millimilli Daily Firming Duo. It comes with a protein ampoule and collagen serum mist and gives my skin an extra layer of hydration when it starts feeling tight or depleted.

NYC summer means going from extreme heat and humidity directly into freezing air conditioning, so I like having something I can reach for without doing my entire routine again.

The Occasional Breakout Mask

I have not been using a ton of face masks because I am trying not to overcomplicate things. When I have a breakout or feel one coming, I like the Murad Rapid Relief Acne Sulfur Clay Mask.

I treat it as an occasional problem-solver rather than something I need to use constantly. Wedding prep is not the time for me to destroy my skin barrier just because I feel like being “proactive.”

Tretinoin Is Coming Back in September

I have not been using tretinoin as consistently during the summer because of the potential for sun exposure. I plan to slowly bring it back into the mix in September rather than suddenly restarting it at full force.

This is one of those products where I follow my provider’s instructions and pay close attention to how my skin is reacting. I am also not planning to dramatically increase the frequency right before the wedding. Calm, predictable skin is the goal.

The Bigger Treatments Still to Come

I am planning to do BBL on my chest and Fraxel on my face, but the exact timing is still TBD. My bachelorette is in a sunny destination, so I need to be very thoughtful about scheduling everything around that trip and follow my provider’s guidance on sun exposure before and after treatment.

I did Fraxel on my neck this spring at SkinStudio9, and I LOVED the results. I saw such a reduction in the fine lines on my neck, and the overall texture looks so much better. It gave me enough of a result that I immediately knew I wanted to do my face before the wedding too.

I am obsessed with SkinStudio9. Everyone there is thoughtful about creating a real treatment plan instead of just doing whatever you ask for that day. A genuine 100/10 recommendation.

Hydration Counts as Skincare

I have been making a real effort to stay hydrated, especially during these extremely hot summer months, and Promix Electrolytes are my absolute favorite.

They make it so much easier for me to drink enough water, particularly on workout days or when I am running around the city. Are electrolytes an eye cream? No. Does my skin look better when I am actually hydrated? Absolutely.

Post-Invisalign Teeth Whitening

This is not technically face related, but it is definitely part of the wedding beauty program. After finishing Invisalign, I started whitening my teeth with Opalescence Go 10% Prefilled Whitening Trays.

They are prefilled, so there is no messy gel or trying to measure out the correct amount. You put them in for 30 to 60 minutes, throw them away when you are finished, and carry on with your day. I also chose the gentler 10% formula because I my teeth are super sensitive but you to you how you go!

After spending so much time straightening my teeth, whitening them felt like the obvious final step. The trays are incredibly easy to use, and I have already noticed such a difference.

And Wellbel, Every Day

This is technically hair prep, but it is all part of the same wedding beauty program. I take Wellbel Women every day, and I have genuinely noticed improvements in both my hair growth and thickness.

This is something I started early enough that I can actually track the difference over time.

What I’m Not Doing

I am really trying not to panic and introduce 25 new products or aggressive treatments at once.

I want to keep my skin hydrated, protect my skin barrier, treat the occasional breakout, and gradually reintroduce the actives after the summer/sun exposure.

I love to scroll on Sundays. On any day really. But on Sundays it just feels like when you have a day with no plans, and can stroll around, no where to be no one to answer to. That’s how I feel with my phone on Sundays, the world is my oyster. Hours on (SUCH good edits coming out this week that I have been working on), the Net sale, the Mytheresa sale, every sale! I am also a sucker for the Shop app, what have I put in my cart that I never purchase? Should I buy something? Should I save for later? Ugh I can go on and on.
