You know, intellectually, nothing will change if you don’t do something.

Think about your life right now. Consider finances, friendships, relationships, habit, the way you treat people. Think about the way you see the world. Think about the set of knowledge you possess right now. All your skills. What are your capabilities? Think about your sense of identity, how much joy you bring to your life. What good do you do for the world around you?

This is your life forever and you get nothing greater than this.

Did that sentence scare you? Agitate you?

If it disturbed something in you, be aware that that disturbance is not just your interest in change but the proof that you can.

Something in you is pulling you to become something greater, and if you follow it you will fail. Then, inevitably, you will grow into something greater than you were before. Then, if you keep following, you will fail again. Then, if you keep following, inevitably, you will grow into something greater than you have ever been before.

What’s funny is that feeling has been there for months - probably years.

There will be nothing special about the day you decide to change. Sometimes there are people or events that push us into change. But sometimes there aren’t.

Sometimes you are just sitting there in your room, on your phone, and for no reason at all you follow that thing in you that is uncomfortable and you do one small different thing. If you keep following that it will bring colour and light you didn’t know was possible.

If you don’t, this is your life forever. And you will never get anything greater than this.
