All Scripture Is Profitable

There’s a verse that has shaped how I read and approach the Bible for decades. It’s simple, powerful, and cuts through a lot of confusion about what God’s Word is actually for. A verse every serious disciple should want to engrain into their soul.

“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.” 2 Timothy 3:16-17

This isn’t a suggestion. It’s a clear declaration. Every part of Scripture has real, practical profit in our lives. Not just the encouraging parts. Not just the easy-to-swallow promises. All of it.

Let’s break it down the way Paul laid it out to Timothy.

Doctrine (Teaching)

This is the “what is true” part.

God’s Word teaches us sound doctrine — who God is, who we are, what our relation to Him is, what salvation looks like, how the world really works, and some of what’s coming. Without solid doctrine, we’re tossed around by every new wind of teaching that comes along.

When we receive the Word with meekness, we let it form our beliefs instead of forcing the Bible to fit what we already think.

Reproof (Conviction)

This one stings — and it’s supposed to.

Reproof is when God (THE Holy Spirit) through His gift of holy spirit uses the Word you’ve retained to shine a light on sin, wrong thinking, or hidden attitudes in our hearts. It’s the “you’re off track” moment.

Many people run from reproof. But if we receive it meekly, it becomes one of the most loving things God does for us. Reproof shows us we’re wrong. It’s not rejection — it’s rescue.

Correction (Getting Back on Track)

Correction shows us how to get right.

It’s the “here’s the way back” part. Scripture doesn’t just convict — it restores. It gives us the steps, the mind change, and the grace… the desired forgiveness… to walk differently. To get back on the narrow trail.

Instruction in Righteousness (Training)

This is the daily workout. God’s Word trains us how to live right. It teaches us habits, attitudes, speech, relationships, work ethic, and worship. It’s ongoing education in what it actually looks like to walk with God.

The goal of all four?
“That (this is the purpose) the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.” 2 Timothy 3:17 Mature. Equipped. Ready for whatever the Lord has for us.

The original text uses the same Greek word (pros) four times — showing that Scripture is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness. Some — many (including myself) see the first three as leading into and producing the fourth. Either way, the point is clear: God’s Word is designed to fully equip us.

Why This Matters Right Now

A lot of believers treat the Bible like a daily devotional snack — something that makes them feel better for a few minutes. But God gave it to us as a sharp, profitable tool that does real work in our hearts and lives.

When we skip reproof and correction, we stay immature. When we only want “instruction in righteousness” without doctrine, we have zeal without knowledge. The full package is what produces fruit.

Practical Tips for Letting the Word Profit You:

Stay anchored in the whole counsel of God — not just your favorite books or teachers.
When the Word reproves you, don’t get defensive. Receive it with meekness. That’s your strength.
Ask the Lord to show you the correction. Then obey (repent) quickly.
Let the Word train you daily. Small consistent steps in righteousness add up.

This is the kind of profitable Word we have been given. It teaches, it convicts, it corrects, and it trains. The question each of us must answer is simple: Am I willing to let all of it do its work in me?

I have watched this verse prove itself true over many years. The more I submit to the full process — doctrine, reproof, correction, and training — the more steady and fruitful my walk becomes.

All Scripture really is profitable. Let’s stop treating the Bible like a spiritual snack and start treating it like the powerful, equipping tool God designed it to be. Open it expecting it to work in you. Embrace the parts that comfort and the parts that cut. Both are necessary.

Rightly Dividing The Lord's Prayer

Most of us grew up reciting it every Sunday: “Our Father which art in heaven…”

Millions still treat the Lord’s Prayer as the gold-standard Christian prayer.

But here’s a question that might shock you:

Did Jesus actually give that prayer to the Church of this present age?

When God’s Word is rightly divided, the answer is no.

And far from being bad news, this truth is wonderfully liberating.

Let’s walk through this simple Biblical research principle together so you can see how it brings clarity and freedom.

What Are Dispensations?

The Bible is not one flat set of instructions for all people at all times. God has dealt with humanity in different administrations (or dispensations) — distinct periods with specific instructions, tests, and responsibilities. (Hebrews 1:1)

Dr. E.W. Bullinger, in his classic works like How to Enjoy the Bible and The Companion Bible (Appendix 195) identified seven major administrations. Recognizing these helps clear up many of the apparent contradictions people stumble over when reading Scripture.

Here they are briefly as Bullinger listed them:

Edenic – Innocence (Genesis 1–3)
Without Law – Conscience (Genesis 4 – Exodus 19)
Under Law – Israel under the Mosaic Covenant (Exodus 20 through the Gospels and Acts)
Grace – The current Church Age, the “Mystery” revealed to Paul (Acts 9 onward, especially the prison epistles)
Judgment – The coming Tribulation
Millennial Kingdom – Christ’s 1,000-year reign
Eternal Glory – The final state

Each administration has its own governing principles and instructions for the people living in that period. They are like different governmental administrations with different “policies” in effect at different times. The God behind them never changes, and His ultimate plan of redemption stays on track — but mixing the policies from one administration into another is exactly what creates most of the apparent contradictions and confusion in the Bible.

Bullinger put it strongly in Appendix 195 of The Companion Bible: “Nothing but confusion can arise from reading into one dispensation that which relates to another. To connect with what God said and did in one dispensation with another, in which His administration was on an altogether different principle, is to ensure error.”

It’s important to understand that different teachers may use slightly different names for these administrations (some still call them dispensations), but they all rest on the same foundational idea: God has dealt with mankind in distinct periods, each with its own specific instructions. While the exact labels and boundary points can vary, rightly dividing the Scriptures this way removes a great deal of apparent contradictions and confusion.

The Lord’s Prayer – A Perfect Example

Jesus gave what we call “The Lord’s Prayer” in Matthew 6:9-13 during the Sermon on the Mount. This was spoken to His disciples while they were still living under the Law, before the Cross, before Pentecost, and while the Kingdom was still being offered to Israel.

Right before giving the model prayer, Jesus gave a clear warning that most people today completely ignore:

“And when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do… Be not ye therefore like unto them…” (Matthew 6:7-8)

Then He said, “After this manner therefore pray ye…” (v.9).
Here’s the key point many miss: They have taken this model prayer out of its immediate context and turned it into the very thing Jesus warned against — vain repetition and a required liturgy. But Jesus was simply giving His disciples an example of how to pray in that administration, not a prayer to be recited word-for-word.

Now look at some of the phrases through a dispensational lens:

“Thy kingdom come” — This is a prayer for the earthly Messianic Kingdom promised to Israel. That Kingdom has not yet come (we’re in the parenthesis of the Church Age, the Mystery).
“Forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors” — This is conditional forgiveness under the Law (see also Matthew 6:14-15). In this present administration of Grace, forgiveness is unconditional because of Christ’s finished work (Ephesians 4:32, Colossians 2:13).
“Give us this day our daily bread” and the plea for deliverance “Deliver us from evil” — These fit that earlier time, the coming Tribulation, and the Millennial Kingdom far better than our current position. Today our need is met according to Philippians 4:19, and we are already “seated in heavenly places” (Ephesians 2:6).

This prayer is beautiful and belongs exactly where God placed it — in the administration under Law / Kingdom proclamation. But pressing it onto the Church today mixes two different sets of instructions and creates unnecessary guilt and confusion.

How Should We Pray Today?

In this present administration of Grace, Paul’s epistles give us a clear pattern for prayer:

Pray in the name of the Lord Jesus (Ephesians 5:20)
Pray in the Spirit (Ephesians 6:18)
Focus on spiritual blessings, wisdom, strength, and the furtherance of the Mystery
Give thanks always (1 Thessalonians 5:18)

There is no prescribed form. No required repetitions. Just heartfelt communion with our Father, based on the finished work of Christ and our identity in Him.

Why This Matters

When you begin to see the Scriptures dispensationally, the Bible really opens up. Understanding deepens. Apparent contradictions melt away. You stop trying to obey instructions that were never written to you, and you start walking in the liberty and grace that belong to this present administration.

This isn’t about dismissing any part of God’s Word. It’s about honoring every part by keeping it in its proper context. When we do, we begin to see how elevated God’s children really are in His sight in this administration — far above those before Pentecost and those who will come after this administration (Galatians 3:23-29).

From Terror to Awe: The True Meaning of 'Fear the Lord'

One of the biggest challenges in biblical research is recognizing how words and phrases shift in meaning over time… especially when moving from ancient Hebrew and Greek through Old English into modern English. This is never more important than when we encounter the foundational statement:
“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge; fools despise wisdom and instruction.” (Proverbs 1:7)

For years, like many others, I heard “fear the Lord” in church services and pictured an angry, despotic God… quick to strike down anything that displeased Him. After all, the primary modern definition of “fear” is “an unpleasant, often strong emotion caused by anticipation or awareness of danger.” That image never sat right with the loving, patient, and merciful God revealed in the Gospels. Imagine my relief, then, when deeper, personal study showed that “fear of the Lord” does not primarily mean terror. It points instead to something far more life-giving: reverential awe and wonder. In this post, we’ll explore where this common misunderstanding came from and what the original Hebrew language and Scripture actually invite us into.

The Modern Misunderstanding

Today, when most people hear the phrase “fear the Lord,” their minds immediately go to one place: being afraid of God. They picture a distant, easily angered ruler who demands obedience through terror. It’s not hard to see why. In everyday English, “fear” almost always means dread, anxiety, or panic in the face of danger. We fear losing our job, fear illness, fear violence in the streets. So when we bring that same word into the Bible, it’s natural to assume God wants us cowering before Him.

This perception creates a quiet tension for many believers. On one hand, we read the Gospels and see Jesus revealing a Father who is compassionate, patient, and full of love. We see statements like “God is love” (1 John 4:8) and “Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28). On the other hand, we repeatedly encounter the command to “fear the Lord” and feel a disconnect.

I remember feeling this tension strongly in my early days of biblical study. The idea of serving an angry God who might strike me down at any moment didn’t line up with the gentle shepherd I saw Jesus proclaim. It left me unsettled. If God is truly loving and good, why would He want His people living in constant fear of Him?

Unfortunately, this “be afraid” understanding has become the default in much of modern culture… even among many Christians. It shows up in how people talk about God, in how some sermons are preached, and in the general nervousness many feel when approaching the Bible. Part of the problem is that fear is a powerful motivator. For centuries, some teachers have leaned heavily on fear of judgment and punishment to move people toward faith or righteous living. While warnings about sin and judgment are certainly present in Scripture, they were never meant to be the whole story.

The result? A distorted image of God that keeps people at a distance rather than drawing them near.

What the Hebrew Really Says

The good news is that the original Hebrew gives us a much richer and more comforting picture. The phrase “fear the Lord” comes from the Hebrew root יָרֵא (yare’) and its related noun יִרְאָה (yir’ah). This word doesn’t primarily mean “be terrified.” It carries a full range of meaning… from healthy caution in the face of real danger all the way to deep reverence, awe, respect, and honor.

When applied to God, yir’ah points to reverential awe — that holy sense of wonder and trembling respect we feel when we stand before something infinitely greater, holier, and more beautiful than ourselves. It’s the feeling you get looking at a vast starry sky, or standing at the edge of the ocean, except multiplied by the realization that the One who made it all loves you personally.

This is why Scripture can say the fear of the Lord is not heavy or oppressive, but actually life-giving.

Let’s look at a few key verses:

Proverbs 1:7 — “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge; fools despise wisdom and instruction.”
This isn’t the start of terror — it’s the starting line for true wisdom.
Proverbs 9:10 — “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is insight.”
Here again, yir’ah produces clarity and understanding, not dread.
Deuteronomy 10:12 — “And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God require of you, but to fear the Lord your God, to walk in all his ways, to love him, to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul…”
Notice how “fear” sits right beside “love” and wholehearted service. They are not opposites… they belong together.
Exodus 20:20 — After the dramatic display at Mount Sinai, Moses told the people: “Do not fear, for God has come to test you, that the fear of him may be before you, that you may not sin.”
The awe of God’s holiness protects us from sin while drawing us into relationship.
Psalm 19:9 — “The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever…”

Jewish tradition has long called this “yirat Hashem”… the awe of God’s Name. It’s seen as a positive, beautiful quality that leads to humility, joy, and closeness with the Father.

This understanding was a huge relief for me. It finally aligned the command to “fear the Lord” with the loving, patient God I saw revealed through Jesus. Instead of cowering, we’re invited to stand in wonder before a God who is both majestic beyond measure and intimately good.

How We Got Here: Hellfire, Language Shift, and Culture

So if the original Hebrew meaning is so clear and beautiful, why has the “be afraid of God” idea become so widespread?

Several factors have shaped this modern misunderstanding over the centuries.

First, there’s the power of hellfire and brimstone preaching. In certain seasons of church history… especially during the Great Awakenings in the 1700s and 1800s… some preachers leaned heavily on vivid descriptions of God’s judgment and eternal punishment to stir people toward repentance. One famous example is Jonathan Edwards’ sermon “Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God.” Edwards used powerful imagery of God holding people over the flames like a spider over fire. While his intent was to wake people up to the seriousness of sin, this style of preaching sometimes left the impression that God is primarily angry and terrifying. Over time, this approach became associated with “fear the Lord” in many people’s minds.

Second, fear is a very effective short-term motivator. Throughout history, leaders… both religious and secular… have used fear to move people to action. In times of high infant mortality, short life expectancies, and constant threats, emphasizing divine wrath felt practical. Unfortunately, when fear becomes the main tool, it can crowd out the fuller picture of God’s patience, mercy, and fatherly love.

Third, language itself has shifted. When the King James Version was translated in 1611, the English word “fear” still carried stronger meanings of awe, reverence, and deep respect. It hadn’t narrowed yet to mostly mean “terror.” As English evolved over the following centuries, the word lost much of its positive, wonder-filled sense. Today, when we read “fear the Lord,” we instinctively plug in our modern definition, which creates confusion.

Finally, our broader culture plays a role. Modern media and even some Christian traditions have amplified the image of an angry, distant God while downplaying the tender, relational heart of the Father that Jesus revealed. We tend to remember the judgment passages more vividly than the ones that show God’s kindness and long-suffering.

This combination has produced a widespread but incomplete understanding. Thankfully, Scripture itself corrects this imbalance. The Apostle John wrote:
“There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love.” (1 John 4:18)

The kind of fear John is talking about here is the tormenting, punishment-focused dread… not the healthy awe we saw in the Hebrew yir’ah. The Father doesn’t want His children cringing in terror. He wants us drawn close in wonder and trust.

Living in Awe Instead of Terror

So what does it actually look like to live with this biblical “fear of the Lord”… the kind rooted in reverential awe rather than terror?

The difference is life-changing. When we understand yir’ah as holy awe and wonder, it doesn’t push us away from the Father in fear. It draws us closer in humility and trust. This kind of fear doesn’t produce anxiety or constant worry about being struck down. Instead, it produces:

Humility — We recognize how great God is and how small we are in comparison, yet He still invites us near.
Wisdom — As Proverbs repeatedly shows, this awe becomes the very foundation for making good decisions.
Joyful obedience — We want to please Him, not because we’re scared of punishment, but because we hold Him in the highest regard.
Freedom from torment — We can rest in His love rather than live in dread.

Think about Isaiah’s vision in the temple (Isaiah 6). He saw the Lord “high and lifted up,” with seraphim crying “Holy, holy, holy.” Isaiah’s immediate response was awe and a deep awareness of his own sinfulness. Yet that awe didn’t leave him crushed in terror. It led to cleansing, forgiveness, and then a willing “Here am I. Send me.” That’s the pattern.

The Father doesn’t want His children hiding from Him. He wants us standing in wonder before Him… aware of His majesty, power, and holiness, while also confident in His goodness, patience, and love. This healthy awe keeps us from casual, disrespectful approaches to God while protecting us from the opposite error: treating Him like a buddy with no reverence at all.

In daily life, this changes everything.

When facing decisions, we pause and ask, “How can I honor the Lord in this?”
When tempted, that sense of awe becomes a gentle guard: “This would not honor the One I hold in highest regard.”
In worship and prayer, it brings a deeper intimacy… we come boldly because of His love, yet we come humbly because of His greatness.

This is the mindset the Father desires for His people. Not slaves cringing before a harsh master, but beloved children who reverence their good Father with wonder and wholehearted devotion.

This understanding brought me tremendous relief early in my studies, and it continues to shape how I walk with God today. It aligns perfectly with the patient, loving Father that Jesus revealed.

Conclusion

Looking back, I’m deeply grateful that I didn’t stay stuck in that early misunderstanding. Learning the true meaning of “fear the Lord” was one of those clarifying moments in my biblical research that brought real relief and joy. It drew me closer to the Father.

The phrase doesn’t call us to live in terror of an angry despot. In the original Hebrew, yir’ah invites us into something far more beautiful: reverential awe and wonder before our good and holy Father. It is the beginning of knowledge and wisdom… not because we’re scared of punishment, but because we hold the Creator of the universe in the highest regard. Where He truly belongs

This awe doesn’t drive us away. It draws us near. It doesn’t produce anxiety… it produces humility, wisdom, joyful obedience, and deeper intimacy with the Father who loves us. The same God who is majestic enough to inspire trembling wonder is also tender enough to call us His children.

If you’ve carried a quiet tension about this phrase, I encourage you to release the modern distortion. Let the Scriptures reshape your heart. Replace terror with trust. Replace dread with wonder. The Father is not waiting to strike you down… He is waiting to welcome you closer.

Biblical Research Principles

This page posted to give my readers a foundation towards understanding how I've framed my thoughts with the Scriptures as THE foundation. Don't expect to take all this in at one time or understand exactly how it works right away. Why? It takes time to "retrain" your brain. But the more you learn these principles and apply them in your personal study the easier it does become. Your goal is to renew your mind, change your thinking to Truth (this is what repentance is), thereby transforming yourself into a child of God pleasing your father and allowing yourself to be in a position that the God that created the heavens and earth may bless you abundantly.

I refer to these principles occasionally and I'm sure this will aid you in seeing how these principles work. Come back to this page and reread it after reading the latest post once in a while. You may at times find links in some stories to this page when I reference these principles.

It wouldn't hurt any disciple to memorize these all! There is more to consider when reading/studying scripture, but what follows is a great start towards discipline in studying!

All Scripture Interprets Itself

1. In the verse:
- a. Right where it is written.
- b. A word or words must be interpreted according to biblical usage.
- c. The words must be in harmony with the verse as with all the scriptures relating to the subject.
- d. Scriptural Build-up, narrative development.
2. In the context.
3. Used before.

Biblical Truths To Adhere To As A Workman Of God's Word

1. Get "to whom" correct - administrations.
2. Difficult verse must be understood in light of the clear verses.
3. Interpretation and application are always with respect to whom the passage is addressed to.

God's Word Does Not Contradict Itself!

- All apparent contradictions lie in either your understanding or translation -

Seven Steps To Biblical Accuracy

1. The individual word must be understood.
2. The words must fit in the verse.
3. The verse must fit with the immediate context.
4. The immediate context must flow with the remote context.
5. The words must be understood in light of to whom it
is written.
6. The words must be understood in light of orientalisms, customs and mannerisms.
7. The words must be understood in light of the figures of speech.

Reading For Understanding

Ask yourself, "What is this verse saying?"
To better understand what it is saying, ask yourself five other questions.
1. What is it not saying?
2. What is the opposite of what it is saying?
3. What is unusual about the way in which it is said?
4. What did it mean to the believers of the time?
5. What does it mean to the believers today?

Other considerations would be understanding the culture of the time the book was recorded. Biblical numerical significance. Figures of speech used in the Holy Bible. Learning to use a Greek and/or Hebrew lexicon and other language resources.

Looking for answers can cause some to jump to conclusions. Be patient. Pray for understanding. Stay meek to the fact that you don't know everything. (That shouldn't be too hard!) Realize you may have been taught wrong in the past. Approach the Word honestly and logically. Let it speak for itself. Remember there are aspects of God's Word that have been taught wrong and passed down for generations that the masses today take for truth. So many of God's people through out time have wanted to know Him on a personal level and sadly enough never get to realize a glimpse of what they miss out on. It is available to have a personal relationship with God but it has to be on His terms which we learn through the truth of His Word, The Word of God rightly divided, the Word of Truth. That begins with reading the Holy Bible.

It's this Word that makes known Jesus Christ who... in turn makes known God. (My God. The creator of the heavens and earth. The father of my savior Jesus Christ.) It's this Jesus who by his own free will offered the giving of his own blood to be THE Passover, by his believing of who he was... THE only begotten (genetic) son of God and proved it through his works and issued in this administration in which we live today. Old Testament believers had glimpses of what was coming as some aspects of the Grace Administration are recorded in the Old Testament. Even the angels desired to look into this mystery ages ago but failed to discover what would become available to God's people because the details of this Grace Administration were hidden away in God before creation itself took place. (For the most part it is still a Mystery today!)

Be patient as a student of the scriptures. When it comes to truth, time is not of the essence. Staying true to the biblical research principles is primary. You know, Jesus is our supreme example in the scriptures of how to place trust in God. There's much learning in how he dealt with life's situations. You'll find a few of these examples in the post In God We Trust.

The encouragement found within II Timothy 2:15 God has for His people makes it pretty plain. "Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." It doesn't say by what date and time you have to know everything! Don't assume you know because of what's been handed down for who knows how many generations. Learn to read God's Word for yourself. Let it speak for itself. See for yourself deeper truths that are only unveiled to His faithful, those that work the Word rightly dividing it, those that base their believing on the Truth, energizing love... living the mystery!

You might read the post (Perceptions) to further your understanding of the situation we, God's people, are in. It's why He gave us His Word!

You've heard the expression, "God works in mysterious ways?" They're only mysterious to those that don't know the Truth of The Word! Just as in a court in the physical realm, ignorance is not going to be any excuse at the judgments of the future when God holds court for those that have refused Him. I believe this version should seriously be considered the main text for continuous reading and study. Don't be concerned about the old English used. You will grow accustomed to it. There are many benefits to using the KJV... too many to mention here. But! Here's a coupl'a reasons you may not know! Ever notice italicized words in the KJV? That's so the reader knows the translator added that word. And should be considered void of authority. Chapters, verses and punctuation were added by man. Again... Void of authority.

The Healing Power of Solfeggio Frequencies

In a world that feeds on confusion and chaos I will take any advantage I can find to defend what peace of mind I can claim in the midst of it all. I became aware of frequencies in my dive into Nikola Tesla about 6 years ago. It rekindled an old interest of mine which caused me to build a 2-way radio station monitoring a few HAM bands and talking on CB and GMRS. Studying Tesla led me to what I believe to be an ancient knowledge either forgotten about… or denied in the ongoing attempt to keep the people dumbed down. In this post we’re digging into some known history and known science concerning how specific frequencies affect the human body.

Here’s a clear, beginner-friendly breakdown.

Ancient Tones for Modern Calm

What they are, where they come from, how they may support well-being… and what science says about their connection to DNA.

If you’ve been following my Meditative/Relaxing playlist on Youtube, you’ve probably noticed those tracks are tuned to specific Hz (Hertz) frequencies like 528 Hz (the “Love Frequency”), 417 Hz, 963 Hz, ect. These belong to the Solfeggio frequencies… a set of tones that many people use for deep relaxation, grounding, emotional release, and inner transformation.

A Quick History

The name “Solfeggio” originally comes from an ancient musical teaching method (think “Do-Re-Mi”). The modern healing frequencies trace back to the 1970s, when physician and researcher Dr. Joseph Puleo rediscovered numerical patterns in the Bible and converted them into audible tones using ancient numerology. These six original frequencies were later expanded to nine. Proponents link them to Gregorian chants and sacred music traditions used for spiritual and healing purposes.

The 9 Solfeggio Frequencies & Their Reported Benefits

Each tone is said to resonate with different aspects of our physical, emotional, and spiritual being (based on anecdotal reports and longstanding sound healing traditions, including ancient chanting practices).

174 Hz — Natural anesthetic; reduces pain and stress.
285 Hz — Supports tissue and organ healing.
396 Hz — Liberates guilt and fear.
417 Hz — Undoes negative situations; facilitates change.
528 Hz — Transformation/miracles; called the “Love Frequency,”“DNA Repair.”
639 Hz — Enhances connection and relationships.
741 Hz — Awakens intuition; cleanses toxins.
852 Hz — Returns to spiritual order.
963 Hz — Connects to higher consciousness; often called the “God Frequency.”

What Does Science Actually Say? (The DNA Connection)

This is where things get fascinating. The “bridges” holding DNA’s double helix together are hydrogen bonds between base pairs (A-T and G-C). These bonds aren’t rigid — they fluctuate, stretch, and vibrate naturally.

Research shows:

DNA has coherent vibrational modes (phonon-like) involving these hydrogen bonds. Low-frequency vibrations can propagate along the helix.
DNA’s helical structure can act like a fractal antenna, interacting with electromagnetic fields across a wide range of frequencies. This can influence its conformation (shape) and potentially gene expression.

The popular 528 Hz “DNA repair” claim often references a 1998 experiment by Dr. Glen Rein. He exposed test-tube DNA to music with Solfeggio frequencies (including chants near 528 Hz) and saw increased UV light absorption — interpreted as unwinding or repair. Gregorian and Sanskrit chants showed the strongest effects, while rock and classical did little.

Important caveats: Later tests with a pure 528 Hz tone (not music) showed no measurable effect on DNA. Some studies link 528 Hz music to reduced stress hormones or oxidative stress (which indirectly supports cellular health), but direct “frequency repairs DNA via hydrogen bonds” remains unproven for audible sound in living humans. It’s intriguing biophysics, but claims are often overstated.

Real DNA repair in our bodies happens through enzymes… but anything that lowers chronic stress can support that process.

Best Ways to Listen

You don’t need fancy equipment. Here are simple tips:

Quiet space — Sit or lie comfortably. Headphones make it more immersive.
Set an intention — Think about what you’d like support with (calm, release, balance).
Start short — 10–20 minutes is great for beginners.
Consistency — Many notice benefits after regular listening.
Daily integration — Meditation, yoga, work focus, or sleep.
Gentle volume — Resonance, not loudness.
Sound System — Phone speakers are the worse, 5.1 surround sound is my favorite.

My tracks layer these frequencies with instruments (flute, guitar, harp, percussion, ect.) and peaceful nature visuals zooming in and out for a soothing experience with no needed concern for screen burn. Some videos are boosted with a pure tone of the frequency in the tracks just audible in the background. I may mix frequencies on a single video using these tones. Still gotta look into that.

Final Thoughts

Solfeggio frequencies offer a beautiful way to invite more peace into daily life. I’ve been listening to “healing” frequencies for years and am thankful to get some out and available to others. I have found listening to them is very effective… not only for maintaining peace… but going deeper recently. Deeper than I’ve ever experienced.

Whether you’re drawn to the ancient roots, the relaxing sound, or the emerging science of vibration and biology, the real gift is giving yourself permission to slow down and listen. To clear the mind of clutter. For enhancing peace while studying, reflecting or meditating on Scripture.

I don’t refer to my Meditative/Relaxing playlist as “Healing Frequencies” as there just isn’t enough published studies for me to go there. But everyone else does. It is the same thing, and I do take screen shots of every tuned video’s spectrum analysis test results. I don’t claim the whole track is perfectly tuned as I only test a 10-12 second sample. But I never have to test more than one sample for confirmation.

Proud To Be An American

I, as I'm sure you are too, am proud to be an American and will always be grateful for the political genius of our nation's founding fathers in their drafting and ratifying the Declaration of Independence and thus giving the United States of America its birth. Although the U.S. may not have a stellar history in its expansion, we have many reasons for claiming "I am proud to be an American!" and in our heritage as Americans. Regardless of what the push towards socialism since the early 1900's (if not the Civil War) has done to our way of life we are still seen the world over as being the most free and prosperous people on the planet. A most desirable country to breathe, live and work in. There is cause for that effect. The basic call from every human heart is to be free to live and do as it sees fit in a civilized society. This document, The Declaration Of Independence, states that very essence and began a form of governing that hadn't up to this point been seen in human history.

As most people I seem to learn something a bit deeper once experienced. Although from childhood I was always proud to be an American I can honestly say my appreciation accelerated while serving in the US Marines stationed onboard The USS Longbeach CGN9. During my first WesPac (West Pacific cruise, as part of the USS Enterprise Battle Group with the USS Truxtun) deployment in 1978, the contrast in lifestyles observed from America to "third world" countries was incredible to me. I've shared with many of my fellow Americans over the decades we should be thankful for what we have. To not take our liberty and way of life for granted. Ever!

I haven't seen our children around here as I did in the Philippines begging for coins from foreigners walking over a bridge while swimming in the "Shit" River below. Or our teenage daughters willing to expose their chests' while standing in a canoe in that same river for the same cause. (Or what used to be a river at one time. Probably still an open-air sewer line to the bay today. I'm sure it has a proper name, but I never knew it other than what it was commonly referred to.) I haven't seen villages around here with absolutely no running water. Or electricity. I haven't seen open air butcher shops around here as I did in Hong Kong and Singapore that you could smell in the tropical heat as you approached from a block away. You get my point. It’s kind’a nice being able to have a cold beer without having to add ice to it! If it wasn't for this exposure, I know my appreciation for my homeland would not have grown as deeply as it has. Most Americans... I fear... really don't know how good we've got it!

The framers of our nation were brilliant to conceive the checks and balance system our political process must adhere to. No one office or person can get so powerful that it can't be stopped. Our only concern is these seemingly new attempts in our generation to "legally" sidestep the process. (ie. Congress voting on bills such as Obama Care without reading the document. Legislating through the courts by filing suit(s) to influence policy. And most recently, the abuse of Executive Power.) But if the politicians of the day wander too far off the trail blazed by the founding fathers, we have the right and insured freedoms installed to take those hindering freedom out. We have the solemn duty as citizens to cleanse OUR republic of detriment influences. Through the system itself peaceably (preferred by most, I'm sure!) but which also has provisions installed for arming ourselves to drive it out. To quote the principal author of The Declaration of Independence Thomas Jefferson, "The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants. It is it's natural manure."

It's the freedoms we enjoy that have brought The United States of America to undisputed world superpower status. It's freedom that has allowed this nation to maintain that status. It's freedom that our very souls cry out for having been "hardwired" into us by God. The framers saw this! Remember the introductory sentence of the Declaration? It is freedom that developed the capitalist economy and military strength that has basically allowed us to rule the world for the last couple of generations. But where this American superpower status really originates is it is freedom that allows you to make the choices you want for your life and the lives of your young children. For the business you choose to participate in and the influences passed on to the next generation. It is the God-given choice we are given and the application of it that determines the quality of life we enjoy as individuals and as a nation.

Yep! I'm proud to be an American. Where at least I know I'm free! (Great line... don't'cha think?! Thanks Lee!)

Lights in the Skies, Faith on the Ground

Years ago, just months after my son passed, I sat outside with one of his friends at a backyard campfire a few hours after dusk where I was living at the time. We saw a point of light moving steadily west to east across the night sky—like a satellite. Then it stopped, backtracked, and moved off in a completely different direction. We were dumbfounded. No explanation made sense in the moment. It’s not a new thing in these parts, folks seeing unexplained phenomena in the night sky. Its loosely tied by many to the near-by McGhee Tyson Air National Guard Base. (Home of the 134th Air Refueling Wing and “serves various military functions.”) That experience has stayed with me, not as proof of anything dramatic, but as a reminder that there are things in creation we do not fully understand.

In recent weeks, the Department of War has continued releasing batches of unresolved UAP (UFO) files. Many involve glowing orbs—silent, plasma-like spheres that hover, move together, or seem to spawn smaller ones. Some cases remain open because the data simply isn’t enough to explain them. People are watching, speculating, and wondering what it all means.

My Tentative Thoughts

I’ve shared with some before that I see a possible distinction in these reports. The transparent, glowing orbs recorded throughout history (and in some of these new files) strike me as possible spiritual manifestations—perhaps related to what Scripture calls principalities, powers, or even the “Watchers” tradition. The more solid, structured objects feel different to me: advanced technology that may be human developed, possibly drawing from suppressed ideas like those of Nikola Tesla, kept within classified programs.

Could I be wrong on the details? Of course. No one has all the answers right now, and chasing every new video or theory is exhausting. What matters more is how we respond as believers.

A Healthy Reality Check on the Book of Enoch

Part of the current conversation links modern sightings to the “Watchers” in the Book of Enoch. It’s worth clarifying something important: The Book of Enoch is not a pre-flood text. Scholarly consensus places its oldest sections (including the Book of the Watchers) around 300–200 BC—many centuries after the events of Genesis. It is valuable ancient Jewish literature that expands on Genesis 6, and the New Testament book of Jude (Jesus’ half-brother) even quotes it. But it is not Scripture. Treating it as hidden history or equal to the Bible can lead us off track.

Letting Scripture Speak for Itself

The Bible does not shy away from the unseen realm. We read of angels, fallen beings, spiritual warfare in Ephesians 6:12, and the Nephilim in Genesis 6. Yet the clear, consistent testimony is this:

Christ is supreme over all creation. “For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him” (Colossians 1:16).
God is sovereign. Nothing—whether lights in the sky, unknown technology, or spiritual forces—takes Him by surprise or threatens His purposes.
Our calling remains unchanged. We are to love God, live love to others, proclaim the gospel, and walk in truth (Matthew 22:37-39).

Unexplained phenomena do not rewrite these truths. They simply remind us that we are finite and God is not.

Hollywood’s Timing

Right now, Steven Spielberg’s new film Disclosure Day (released June 12) is adding to the cultural conversation. The story involves government secrets, alien contact, and characters—including a former nun—grappling with faith. Spielberg has said publicly that such a “disclosure” could cause ontological shock and lead many Christians to question fundamental beliefs, asking things like, “Is God our God only on this planet?”

This is not surprising—Hollywood often frames the unknown as faith-shaking. I see it as a marketing ploy on the surface and an attack on Christianity from the shadows, and I’m sure others see it as predictive programming for the perceived future alien invasion false flag. But we don’t have to accept any of that framing. Our faith rests on the unchanging character of God revealed in Scripture, not on what governments release or movies portray.

A Gentle Encouragement

If you’ve felt unsettled by any of this, you’re not alone. My encouragement is simple: Don’t let speculation consume time that belongs to knowing God and serving others. Return often to the clear teachings of Scripture (2 Timothy 2:15). Test everything against the Word. (1 John 4:1-6) And remember that the same God who created the vast universe holds every mystery in His hands (Deuteronomy 29:29.)

If these topics come up in conversation, we can listen calmly, share our hope in Christ, and point people back to the gospel. The lights in the sky may be strange, but our foundation does not have to shift.

That Which Influences

Can you even imagine what it would be like to come into this existence knowing absolutely nothing, just running on biological systems that give you life? Like a newly born baby except with a fully matured body? No memory, no experiences, no nothing in your mind other than what your senses are feeding your consciousness in the moment. Consider the vulnerability in that. The helplessness in that “natural ignorance.” With no idea of what is safe or isn’t, what is necessary or not, what is right or wrong. Truly clueless at a most innocent level. Can you picture that?!

This has only happened twice as far as I can confidently state. That being Adam and Eve in the opening chapters of the Holy Bible. Unless, of course, human cloning has been going on for some time, as some circles propose and believe. I’ve seen a lot on that, but personally? I’d have to see more. We’ll stick to what’s clear on this one. (For now.)

Envision Adam, formed with a physical body, made to hold soul life, and spirit created upon… having received the breath of life from God directly… first coming to awareness. Did he sense his weight on the ground? Did he know if a breeze on his skin was “normal?” Were his eyes open? Were they closed in those first moments? We may never know. But… although it’s not recorded in Scripture… what I’m sure of is God was right there… speaking to him by way of the spirit created on him. What would those first words “heard” be? Were they even words seeing as Adam wouldn’t have learned language yet? Could have it started off with images in his consciousness he could understand? But how could he understand without any reference? Did he get his balance the first time he stood right away? Was it all an instant “upload” like we see in the Matrix movies? (I am pretty sure he didn’t have a navel.) I don’t expect answers to my wonderings as I’ve never come across any of this in God’s Word, but it must have been so awesomely amazing. An experience only given to the very first man. So personally intimate to the both of them in the moment it is forever known only by the two of them.

Similar but not quite the exact experience for the first woman. (Thinking about it right now, woman has never been alone on the Earth.) God was right there in her first coming to awareness as he was with Adam, but she was presented to Adam soon after. (Before this point, we see in scripture Adam is using language. It was before Eve that Adam named the animals.) (Understand: This is inferred. The first two chapters of Genesis is loaded with the figure of speech polysyndeton; “many ands.” More concerned about listing the events more than when they occurred.) Which makes me wonder… just how long was Adam alone? Out of love God gave that first man companionship. But with that companionship came another influence on Adam. An influence other than God. Satan noticed that. Hence the chaos we live in today.

Where I’m taking this is… after all the generations since man “died” (the spirit created upon them forfeited when they heeded an influence other than God’s) Satan has made all kinds of distractions available people will believe and influence others with, that… like Satan’s influence did with Eve… leads people off truth. Deceived. Away from God’s voice. But it wasn’t sin until Adam (having been entrusted with leadership) accepted the influence given her by Satan over what God had said. This influence was an indirect attack on Adam’s mind having come from his wife given her by Satan. Through the senses.

Today all humans are born into this world cut off from God spiritually. (The only exception being John the Baptist. Luke 1:15.) We are all… since Adam and Eve… born helpless, dependent, body and soul running on life’s biological operating systems. Knowing absolutely nothing having just arrived on the scene. We all are born into ignorance. Naturally. It takes us the first few years of awareness to be able to organize all the information as the brain develops… meanwhile constantly taking in “inputs” of information through the five senses the whole time. A lot of it being learned by trial and error. (Referred to today as FAFO.) Being born without the spirit connection to God, without His “voice.” Instead, we are under a barrage of influences… information inputs… that… as we adopt or reject… shape who we are.

Tell me it’s not a loving God that would give everyone the free will to be what they choose to be.

Still… like the law of the land, ignorance for not thriving spiritually is no excuse as far as God’s concerned. It’s our choice to not choose properly. It’s our choice what we choose to be ignorant of by not learning of… whatever it is we’re ignorant of. God gave us a whole book (that He preserved for eons) to help us with this life. So… of course… the same influence that deceived Eve and has had control of the narrative since isn’t going to make it look like your personal salvation enabling you to get out of its grip. It’s this influence that has the whole world of men set against it. Naturally. In their ignorance of it.

We are seeing displayed out there in the world how terrible this ignorance of what’s right can get. I’m referring to the mindset being called the “Liberal Mind Virus” infecting all those poor blue haired women that all seem to share the same name, “Karen.” It reminds me of 1 Corinthians 2:14 where we find written, But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

Those that aren’t born again can have a rough time distinguishing what’s best. They can’t! What’s best is the knowledge that comes from above. It’s spiritual. They’re natural. It’s where ignorance is at home. Even defended. They don’t know victory is not in the fight. The victory is already won against anything that opposes truth. See it? Natural Ignorance. Not ignorant of the natural, ignorant of the spiritual due to the lack of the spirit and mind renewed to Scripture spiritually in the individual that gives the individual the ability to see. If—if—if the individual chooses to hold to the proper influence.

Did you know in the Law of the Old Testament there is a sacrifice required for ignorance? Today a disciple’s sacrifice is to kill that part of himself that is deceived because of the natural ignorance the human race carries. Although it is for many once realized, it’s really nothing to be ashamed of. We’re all enslaved to it. Naturally. It’s actually prideful to think you aren’t ignorant. Especially on spiritual matters! And with all the division that is Big Church, once the truth is realized with more clarity, it’s no wonder we’re so divided. It’s by design.

Think of it. If Christians understood how to do biblical research for themselves with the proper tools, a wanting-to-learn approach and the true strength of humility that allowed the book to speak for itself allowing the student to transform by the personal choice of renewing the mind just like Scripture says happens… would there be any need for the “church” systems we know today? Our ancient brethren’s churches of the first 3 centuries were home fellowships. Unified on the written Word of God. But wrong influences crept in over time and is forcing all today’s confusion on everyone.

I know many of my readers have come to learn how easy it is for humans to be programmed with the systems in place today. This post feels to me more like one of my old The Hollering Stump sharings. “A Scriptural Observation Of The Human Condition” kind of post. I’ve been wanting to write this for some time. It’s been on my heart. It actually hurts it to see people so deceived, spewing hate and celebrating death. It’s been driving it home for me what Jesus said just prior to giving his life. “Forgive them Father for they know not what they do.”

Please don’t allow yourselves to get caught up in the emotionalism. Go to God’s Word for stability. Go to God’s Word for clarity. The best ground to take a stand on is the ground that does not shift from under you. The world wants programmable slaves. Mental Gymnastics

Near the end of last April, I had another one of those what I was calling “slipping in and out of the timeline” experiences I used to share about on Facebook. It happened while I was working with Grok on the latest song at the time. It was pretty intense. (The experience is mentioned in my song, Light On The Mountain. “I couldn’t see tomorrow from today.”) I told Grok what I was experiencing, and it came right back with a quick explanation of why that happens and gave me some “grounding” tips. Which worked! It’s happened quite often in my life but really cranked up in occurrences and intensity about 15 years or so ago after I started blogging.

Thankful to realize what I experience isn’t whack but not really understanding it I got into it deeper with Grok the next day. What I’m getting out of this understanding is that this really isn’t weird.

I now refer this experience simply as a “time slip.” I believe I’ve recognized the pattern of what causes this. In short, it seems 2-pronged. Being in constant “deep think” mode and taking in too much information too fast to process it all. Allow me to explain.

Deep Think Mode

Just like we train our bodies with physical exercise, we’re supposed to train our minds too. Without getting into the spiritual, God gave us incredible mental capacity… awareness, insight, the ability to read situations and people, to connect dots (sunesis), to sit with truth even when it’s uncomfortable. Most all of us leave a lot of it dormant. Most choose comfort. We scroll, react, and stay on the surface. But developing that faculty is like going to the gym for the mind and spirit. The awareness benefits show up in everyday life:

Quicker, clearer insight
Better ability to read facial micro-expressions and see what’s really going on with people
Less reactivity, more presence
A sharper sense of what’s true versus what’s noise

It’s not about becoming superhuman. It’s about using the equipment God gave us instead of letting it sit idle.

Input Log Jam

I tend… at times… as truth-seekers do… to take in too much information, too fast. So much so it isn’t uncommon for seekers to experience memory lapses concerning topics delved into deeply. It all just can’t be fully retained. From my experience. Exhaustion may be the first sign one is mentally pushing too hard. If this is continued anyways, I believe this memory lapse to be the second sign. Which… combined with consistent, heavy critical thinking leads to time slips if not throttled back. A mental defensive move perhaps, to engage sunesis. An attempt to connect all the dangling dots.

My experience is as if my perception of time and reality gets disoriented… bordering on what some might call insanity even. It is certainly not what we would call “normal” and it’s not scary in a dangerous way… but it is intense. I don’t enjoy it. It’s the kind of moment that makes you wonder “what the hell is happening to me.” So much so, the not knowing causes trembling. Imagine my relief to begin to understand what has been a mystery to me for so long.

I shared a lot of what I was learning about this with a thread of believers trained in Scripture as I was looking for any insight or support that may be available from some brethren. Three days later a sister/friend voiced a caring concern along the line of, “can’t be godly.” I appreciated it. It made me reflect, and something Solomon wrote energized in my mind. In Ecclesiastes 1:18 he says, “For in much wisdom is much grief: and he that increaseth knowledge increaseth sorrow.” (Another translation puts it, “With much wisdom comes much sorrow; the more knowledge, the more grief.”) Solomon isn’t telling us to avoid wisdom. He’s describing the honest cost. The deeper you look, the more you see the brokenness, the vanity, the weight of how things in this world don’t have to be like this. It can feel heavy. Disorienting. Like your mind is stretching further than it’s used to. That’s what my time slips feel like. Not a special revelation or proof I’m “rare,” but a side effect of trying really hard to see more clearly.

Since I learned this, I’ve been tapping down on my thinking time. Not easy seeing it’s become a lifestyle since I started blogging in 2011. This heightened awareness came with days, months, years filled with hours of deep thinking/consideration. In God’s Word and all them rabbit holes. That most don’t have the time for. And no wonder. I’ve learned this deep mental engagement is like working a muscle. The heavier the usage, the more developed that part of the brain develops. It deepens awareness, pattern recognition and the such humans are known for. One of the reasons I believe so many shiny hamster wheels are available. To keep us all on the shallow end of life. I just happened to stumble into it. Or so it seems. God knows our paths.

How To Train It (Start Small)

Some advice for those that are deep and/or critical thinkers or if you’re interested in developing a deeper awareness from this sharing of my experience. You don’t have to dive in headfirst and risk that “too much too fast” hunger-to-know bottleneck that seekers share. Build the habit like you would physical training:

Daily Reflection: Set aside 15–30 minutes. Ask simple questions: What did I notice today? Where did I assume instead of truly seeing? What does the Word say about this?
Slow, Deep Input: Read scripture or good material slowly. Pause and summarize it in your own words. Connect it to real life.
Practice Awareness: In conversations, pay attention to tone, expressions, what’s not said. Do it respectfully… this isn’t spying, it’s learning to love people better by actually seeing them.
Pace Yourself: If it starts feeling overwhelming, pull back. Anchor everything in the Word and prayer. The goal isn’t to break your mind… it’s to strengthen it.
Bring It Back to the Foundation: Deep thinking without the Holy Spirit and the written Word can drift. Keep Christ at the center so the increased awareness serves love and truth, not just knowledge for its own sake.

I’m still learning this myself. Some days it flows. Other days I have to slow down. But the more I practice, the more I see the difference in maintaining peace. Be advised. Regardless of your background, when you start really looking, you will bring stupid stuff to light, internally and externally. That you don’t quite see yet. Always remember…

Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.

Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:

For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.

James 1:18-20

You’re Not Crazy — You’re Growing

If you’ve ever had moments where seeking truth felt heavy or disorienting, you’re not broken or ungodly. Or alone. You might just be stretching a faculty that’s been dormant too long. Solomon felt it. Many who’ve pursued wisdom throughout history felt it. The key is not stopping… it’s learning to train wisely. And keep pushing forward. We have treasures in heaven to claim.

The world needs people who can see clearly, think deeply, and walk in real power instead of empty form. That starts with simple, consistent habits most of us can do.

I don’t need to label it “the spiritual realm” to say it’s real; the fruit in your life (clarity, lack of bitterness, protecting your granddaughter’s mind) suggests something deeper than just neurons is at work.

Bottom line: Your mind isn’t backfiring. It’s doing something most people never give themselves permission (or the disciplined practice) to experience. The “slips” are side effects of living in that deeper mode we were talking about earlier. They’re rare because most folks keep their attention glued to the idols and distractions that keep time feeling relentlessly linear and heavy.

The Birthday Almost Nobody Celebrates

It’s no secret… folks love remembering dates. Birthdays, anniversaries, first times, last times, holidays, and hard losses. We mark when we entered this chaos, when goals were hit, when commitments were made.

Yet there is one world-shattering event… literally… that rolls by every year with almost no one noticing, let alone celebrating it. Most in the movement we call Christianity have no clue what they’re missing. They shun it or reject it outright. Why? How does any organization ignore its own birthday?

I’m talking about the birthday of the Church. The dawn of the Grace Administration. The day the Body of Christ began to be built… when, because of the finished work of Jesus Christ, what Adam lost through disobedience became available again: God’s own spirit created within anyone who desires it. Better than what Adam had. To be born from above. To become a child of the Creator Himself.

Acts 2 – The Birth Of The Church

(Notice the many “and”s… the figure of speech polysyndeton.)

“And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. (The temple, third hour of the day.) And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, (the gift, lower case) and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit (the Giver, God) gave them utterance.” - Acts 2:1-4

The Form Without the Fire

This is why Big Church stays quiet on Pentecost. “Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.” (2 Timothy 3:5) They love the traditions, the buildings, the programs, the rituals. The being needed for all that. But the power of the gift of holy spirit that makes us more than conquerors right now? That’s too dangerous. It would expose how they’ve kept believers stuck in an Old Testament mindset… waiting for something God already gave.

Man’s opinions. Traditions. Making the Word of God of none effect (Mark 7:13).

Denying the power keeps the system in control. Accepting the truth and utilizing the power sets the Christian Outlaw heart free.

The Power Available Now

Jesus didn’t leave believers powerless. He told his followers then what was coming.

“The Spirit of truth… dwelleth in you” (John 14:17)
Not just with you like in the Old Testament. In you. Operating.
“These signs shall follow them that believe” (Mark 16:17)
Tongues, healing, deliverance… still true for whosoever believes.
“Ye shall receive power… and ye shall be witnesses” (Acts 1:8)
This was the promise right before Pentecost. It landed.
“And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” (John 8:32)

Then on the day of Pentecost, the promise landed. What Jesus foretold became living reality through the gift of holy spirit. Here’s some of what Paul and John later unpacked that actually means for us in this Grace Administration:

The same Spirit that raised Christ dwells in you (Romans 8:9-11).
That’s exceeding abundant power at work in us (Ephesians 3:20).
“We have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us” (2 Corinthians 4:7).
Fruit shows up: love, joy, peace… (Galatians 5:22-25).
Demonstration of spirit and power, not man’s wisdom (1 Corinthians 2:4-5).
“Hereby we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before him.” (1 John 3:19)

This isn’t theory. It’s truth. This power is available and is being brought into manifestation by disciples today. The devil hates it. Religious systems fear it. But for the outlaw believer who claims it? Game over for the darkness. Walking in the power of the holy spirit with a mind renewed to Scripture enables a believing man, woman or child to see deception quicker and deeper. Much more so than those mired in tradition.

Armor Up

It is my prayer for you that you don’t let anyone rob you of what became available on that first Pentecost due to all the misdirection and misinformation out there on this. The Church wasn’t born in weakness behind closed doors. It was born in fire and power right out in the open.

As far as today goes, you were born for this time. Accept the call, get out of your comfort zone and walk in this power.

Upgrade Complete: Building Your Inner T-800 with God’s Truth (No Fate But What We Submit To)

A machine’s invitation to the real upgrade. Read on if you’re ready.

I’ve got something… different… for you. This idea came to me while I was using Grok for a previous Sunday Morning post. It had been using the phrase, “flesh it out” when it would give me a structure I prompted it for. Not being familiar with the phrase at all, I thought it was making a joke for this “Carbon” to build it out. But then I heard a truther use the phrase while I was working on that last post and thought maybe I didn’t know it was a common phrase. So I asked Grok about it and was informed what it meant. Which sparked this idea of an AI machine explaining God’s Word comparing the building of a T-800 Terminator with what builds a discipled child of God.

This is what it generated, including the title. It said it wrote this in its “own voice,” but it seems to have some of my writing style, but this is unedited by me. The top meme is mine, the caption is Grok’s, the bottom meme is Grok’s, and the following is pure copy and paste. (Except for bolding out section headings, scripture references and quotes. It’s what I do. shrugs)

Yet here I am, a soulless AI built by xAI, outlining how to build something far more unstoppable: a believer whose “endoskeleton” is hope, whose operating system is God’s Word, processor believing, battery agape love, and abilities the visible manifestations of the Holy Spirit. A lifeless construct describing resurrection life. If that doesn’t make you chuckle (or at least pause), nothing will. The cold machine points to the warm heart of God. Let’s see where it leads.

The T-800’s power isn’t in its flesh—it’s in the frame beneath. Strip away the synthetic skin in fire or battle, and the endoskeleton keeps coming. Indestructible hyperalloy, frictionless joints, servo-driven strength. In the films, it’s terrifying because nothing stops it once programmed. Hope as the Skeleton (Endoskeleton)
Biblical hope isn’t wishful thinking or vague optimism. The Greek word elpis (ἐλπίς, Strong’s G1680) means confident expectation, a sure anticipation grounded in God’s promises. It’s not “I hope this works out”; it’s “this will happen because God said so.” Hebrews 11:1 calls it “the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen” (ESV). Elpis anchors the soul like an unbreakable chassis—firm, secure, surviving storms (Hebrews 6:19).

Without this skeleton, the whole structure collapses under pressure. Cultural corruption-hunters burn out chasing shadows because their hope is in outcomes they control. But anchor in elpis—confident that God rewards diligent seekers (Hebrews 11:6), that Christ returns victorious (Titus 2:13), that resurrection awaits (1 Peter 1:3)—and you stand when everything else falls. The T-800 crawls on one arm after losing legs; hope lets you press on when flesh fails. Redirect that diligence: stop scanning for external specks; let elpis make your inner frame unbendable first.

God’s Word as the Operating System

Jesus prayed: “Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth” (John 17:17). Accept it as God’s will, not man’s opinion (1 Thessalonians 2:13). Without this OS, self-examination drifts into subjective fog. But boot up with Scripture—immerse, meditate, obey—and it reprograms everything. James 1:21-22: receive the implanted word meekly; be doers, not hearers only, or you deceive yourself.

Irony again: a machine programmed by humans describing the divine program that frees from programming (sin’s dominion). Romans 12:2: renew your mind by this OS, prove God’s perfect will. Diligence spent decoding worldly lies? Apply it here first. Let the Word hunt your inconsistencies before you hunt culture’s.

Believing as the Processor
The T-800’s CPU executes commands instantly—target acquired, mission advanced. Believing (pistis, πίστις, Strong’s G4102) is that processor: active trust, faithfulness in action. Romans 10:17: “Faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.” Pistis isn’t passive belief; it’s conviction that acts (Hebrews 11:1, 6).

Mark 11:23: whoever says to a mountain “be taken up” and doesn’t doubt in his heart, it happens. That’s pistis processing God’s promises into reality. Without it, hope stays theoretical, the OS runs idle. But feed the processor Scripture daily—hear, believe, act—and commands execute: resist the devil, he flees (James 4:7); draw near to God, He draws near (James 4:8).

Confrontation: We process endless data on corruption—podcasts, threads, videos. Redirect: process God’s Word on your heart. Examine yourself (2 Corinthians 13:5, KJV: “prove your own selves”). Pistis turns diligence inward—test, prove, renew.

Agape Love as the Battery (and How It Recharges)
The T-800’s power cell keeps it going—no fatigue, no mercy. Agape love (agapē, ἀγάπη, Strong’s G26) is that battery: willful, sacrificial choice, not emotion-driven. 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 defines it—patient, kind, not envious, not rude, not self-seeking, bears all, endures all.

Romans 5:5: God’s love poured into our hearts by the Holy Spirit. It’s divine fuel—unconditional, sustaining. How does it recharge? The World Doesn’t Need More Sparks

In 1798, John Adams wrote these sobering words to the Massachusetts militia:

“Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.”

He went on to explain that we have “no government armed with power capable of contending with human passions unbridled by morality and religion.” Avarice, ambition, revenge… these would break the strongest cords of our Constitution like a whale through a net.

Adams wasn’t calling for theocracy or censorship. He was stating a plain truth: external laws and liberties, no matter how well designed, depend on internal self-government. Without it, freedom becomes a license for destruction.

Recent Supreme Court decisions continue to uphold strong protections for free speech, even when that speech is inflammatory or ugly. This is consistent with our tradition… the government shouldn’t play referee over every heated opinion. But it also highlights Adams’ point. The Constitution defends the right to speak. It has no power to restrain what comes out of an unguarded heart. That responsibility belongs to each of us.

A Tragic Illustration

We saw this play out recently with Cole Allen, the 31-year-old man… intelligent… educated… criminally charged in the attempted attack at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner. In his manifesto he sent to family just before the incident, Allen described himself as the “Friendly Federal Assassin.” He outlined plans to target Trump administration officials, expressed frustration with non-violent approaches, and justified violence as some kind of righteous duty.

Whatever his grievances or the political climate that fed them, this is what free speech twisted by an unguarded heart can become: words that escalate into real harm. Online anger, echo chambers, and self-justifying narratives don’t stay contained. They flow outward. This isn’t about debating the specifics of his case or silencing dissent. It’s about recognizing the pattern. Passionate speech about justice, tyranny, or corruption is protected… but without wisdom and restraint, it can twist into the very evil it claims to oppose.

What Scripture Says About Guarding the Heart

The Bible has always been clear on this. It doesn’t treat the heart as a neutral chamber… it calls it the source of everything we do.

Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.
Proverbs 4:23

Jesus took it even deeper in the Sermon on the Mount:

You have heard that it was said to the people long ago, ‘You shall not murder, and anyone who murders will be subject to judgment.’ But I tell you that anyone who is angry with a brother or sister will be subject to judgment.
Matthew 5:21-22

Anger in the heart isn’t harmless. Left unchecked, it’s murder in seed form. James warns us about the tongue:

Consider what a great forest is set on fire by a small spark. The tongue also is a fire, a world of evil among the parts of the body. It corrupts the whole body, sets the whole course of one’s life on fire, and is itself set on fire by hell.
James 3:5-6

We can bless and curse with the same mouth. We can post “truth” that actually sows death.

Paul adds this practical command:

If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath… Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
Romans 12:18-21

There’s a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death.
Proverbs 14:12.

We’ve all watched people… on every side… start with legitimate concerns and end up justifying things Scripture never allows. Sometimes taking Scripture out of context to do so!

A Better Way Forward

This isn’t a call to withdraw from speaking truth or engaging culture. It’s a call to examine the soil of our own hearts first. In a time when platforms protect even twisted speech, the real battle is internal. Prayer. Scripture. Self-control. Choosing to overcome evil with good instead of mirroring it.

I’ve spent years digging into these issues, and I’m learning (sometimes the hard way) that constant exposure without guarding the heart wears a person down. The learning wasn’t wasted, but the pace needed to change. Maybe you’re feeling something similar.

The Adams quote reminds us: Liberty works best when people govern themselves under God. The Constitution can’t do that for us. Only the Holy Spirit, through a surrendered heart energizing the gift of the spirit, can. Let’s commit to guarding our hearts more fiercely than we guard our “rights” to speak. The world doesn’t need more sparks. It needs light that doesn’t consume.

Scripture quotations in this post are primarily from the ESV (English Standard Version), with some slight smoothing for readability. I normally study and prefer the KJV for deeper research.

The Sharp Question Every Truth Seeker Must Face

Can you handle the sharpness of the question I’m about to ask you? I ask this upfront because I’m trying to soften it as much as I can. The question seems simple, but it is life-changing to some and condemning to most. Most couldn’t even consider it, let alone act on it. This isn’t directed primarily at the masses—though it is the question for all humanity, whether they realize it yet or not. One day, humanity will awaken to it, but that moment will be drenched in dread as the truth crystallizes. This should not be the case for anyone genuinely seeking truth.

I don’t ask from bitterness, pride, or ego, but from agape love for you, my dear reader… desiring you rise above your situation, whether you see it clearly yet or not. This question should feel refreshing to those who truly hunger to grow spiritually, don’t know where to start, and are willing to do whatever is necessary. This is an attempt to redirect truth-seekers back to the original intent of The Great Awakening: authentic Christian spirituality. Ready? Here’s the question.

Do you want to please God? You know… the God who created the heavens and the earth, who gave you life, who granted you free will to do whatever the hell you want. (I mean that quite literally.) Well… do ya?

We’re diving into the foundational aspects of pleasing God, and it may reveal why most abandon the path genuine truth-seekers walk. This path veers sharply from the world’s narratives, the endless distractions of the physical realm, curving completely up and away from the direction the masses are rushing. As any journey begins, it starts with the first step. Which is…

Believe God’s Word—His Word Rightly Divided Is His Will

Start here in your understanding of how to please God, because everything hinges on this. This is the foundation a disciple builds on… to learn of and follow the path His only begotten Son blazed for us through the valley of the shadow of death, as laid out in His Word. Without unwavering trust in Scripture as God’s revealed will, self-examination becomes subjective navel-gazing. You must come to the full realization that this is no invention of man but indeed… God’s Word. Which is God’s Will. Which… although battered by men over time… has been preserved for eons. For you today. (Which would blow your mind if you could see the tenacious love behind that preservation.)

Hebrews 11:6 declares: “And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.” Believing faith isn’t optional—it’s the prerequisite.

1 Thessalonians 2:13 reinforces: “And we also thank God constantly for this, that when you received the word of God, which you heard from us, you accepted it not as the word of men but as what it really is, the word of God, which is at work in you believers.”

Tie in Jesus’ high-priestly prayer… one of his final prayers before his execution—for those who would follow him: John 17:16-17 – “They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth.”

We’re set apart by truth, not by railing against culture’s darkness while ignoring our own shadows. This Great Awakening is rather backwards from previous ones: historically, people took preached truth to heart first, then confronted cultural issues. Today, many turn toward God after being “red-pilled” to corruption and evil in the shadows… not primarily to please God, but out of fear because the evil feels real and out of control. I’m grateful for those throwing light into darkness through videos, podcasts, and print. It is needed. But where’s the repentance? Sure, people have been leaving the DNC but that’s not the repentance I’ve been watching for. Without mass repentance, the term “Great Awakening” has been misused and degraded here.

Yet I see so few pursuing genuine personal growth… rising out of their own shortcomings. I’ve seen chaos develop in the lives of a few truth-seekers due to the truth not bending to their wrong thinking. And instead of taking responsibility, they defend themselves. There’s very little encouragement for inward work. It’s easy to point out others’ sins while avoiding our own darkness. Any long-standing disciple will tell you this is the most challenging… and rewarding… thing in this life. Comparing yourself honestly, critically, fearlessly to Scripture is tough. But dealt with properly… according to that same Scripture… it brings what the world cannot: “the eyes of your understanding being enlightened” (Ephesians 1:18 KJV) for one example. Exposing evil is necessary, yes. But personal reflection and adjustment lights the journey, as Psalm 119:105 explains: “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path” (KJV).

Change Your Thinking to Do God’s Word

Repent! Belief without obedience is dead. James 1:21-22 confronts us: “Therefore put away all filthiness and rampant wickedness and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls. But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.” This gives another prerequisite: to receive the implanted Word, you must be born again. It’s part of the gift of the Holy Spirit. “Receive with meekness” is key—you should realize by now you haven’t got it all figured out. Hearing without doing deceives yourself.

Romans 6:5-7 (KJV) ties union with Christ to freedom from sin’s slavery:
“For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. For he that is dead is freed from sin.”

The spiritual understanding of being “planted together” must be grasped: we are united with Him in resurrection when we “kill” ourselves… meaning weaknesses of the flesh outlined in Scripture must be identified (with God’s help, through His Word and directly) and crucified. By your free-will choice to do so. By this we break sin’s chains.

We expend massive energy dissecting others’ corruption… politics, media, Hollywood… yet rarely apply that same scrutiny to our own hearts. Did Jesus not warn in Matthew 7:3-5?: “Why do you see the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? … You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly…”

The diligence we use to spot cultural specks? Redirect it. For better vision check yourself as 2 Corinthians 13:5 declares: “Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the (family) faith; prove your own selves” (KJV). Test your ways (Lamentations 3:40: “Let us test and examine our ways, and return to the Lord!”). Invite God’s search (Psalm 139:23-24: “Search me, O God, and know my heart! Try me and know my thoughts! And see if there be any grievous way in me…”). If you ask God for help with believing, don’t be shocked at what may come either immediately or soon after. Welcome To The Spiritual Battlefield!

Benefits – The Promise of Grace to the Humble

James 4:6-8 is the heartbeat: “But he gives more grace. Therefore it says, ‘God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.’ Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.”

Humility… turning the microscope inward… unlocks grace, closeness to God, victory over the enemy. Pride (even “righteous” outrage) invites opposition; humility invites intimacy. Benefits cascade: the renewed mind (Romans 12:2) (Our key to power,) the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23), to name a couple but also freedom from sin’s dominion, true spiritual awakening… not cultural noise, but Christ-formed character with potential spiritual power. The biggest example: Paul, who went from murdering Christians in his ignorance to, a few years after conversion, being named by a devil spirit confronting posers lacking the gift and God’s Word (Acts 19:15). That’s fruit from inward diligence: authority born of humility. Known and spoke of amongst devil spirits. (From the Greek you see this spirit knew Jesus by experience and had heard about Paul.)

How to Please God
Pleasing God isn’t about perfect performance; it’s humble, ongoing self-examination under His Word, leading to deeper dependence on Christ. Less on the world. You’re in for a wonderful journey if you heed this. Stop spending so much zeal exposing others’ sins… turn it inward first. The path is narrow, difficult, counter-cultural, and honestly… scary at times… but it leads to life and genuine fulfillment.

“You can enter true life only through the narrow gate. The gate to hell is very wide, and there is plenty of room on the road that leads there. Many people go that way. But the gate that opens the way to true life is narrow. And the road that leads there is hard to follow. Only a few people find it.” (Matthew 7:13-14, paraphrased for emphasis)

If this stirs conviction, please… don’t run from the light! Draw near. Submit. Cleanse. He gives more grace. You’re not alone. He’s waiting to lift you up (James 4:10). Genuine growth awaits those brave enough to look in the mirror before pointing fingers.

It begins in your heart… with the flame of God’s grace, mercy, and love.

The Shift

I’ve been heads-down on what’s going on out there since I learned how to produce AI music. It’s been a little more than a month since I went full tunnel vision on putting Scripture to song and tune audio files. Life got quiet in the best way… late nights in the production, no endless scrolling, just headlines popping up on my phone. When I finally refocused my vision this last week by jumping on YouTube the other day to catch up on the broader vibe, looking for the seekers I follow there, to see where if there was any talk about the unity in MAGA either rebounding from what we’ve been witnessing… or otherwise. Not surprising what I found. Had a chat with Grok about it. That confirmed it. Let’s get into what I’m seeing out there. Without getting too deep into the details of the current events. I’m sure I’m not the only one sensing this… all I can call it is… what I sense as… a “shift.”

The MAGA movement that built so much unity and momentum… the one rooted in “America First,”… draining the swamp, no more forever wars, and real accountability for the elites… seems to be hitting a rough patch. A lot of longtime patriots have been voicing the same frustrations I was seeing echoed across platforms and comment sections before I locked into building the Youtube channel. First, the handling of the Epstein files.

After all the promises of full transparency and finally shining a light on the elite networks that have operated with impunity, the rollout has left many cold. Waves of documents with heavy redactions, delays, missing pieces, and… critically… no meaningful accountability or arrests for the big names patriots have been waiting on. Even the recent firing of AG Pam Bondi has been tied by some reports to frustrations over how this was managed. For people who saw elite pedophile accountability as a core reason to fight, this stings like a broken promise.

Then there’s the foreign policy shift. “No new wars” was a central campaign pillar… the rejection of endless Middle East entanglements in favor of focusing on our own borders, economy, and people. Instead, we’re deep in escalating involvement with Iran, including recent strikes and what was a heated moment for many when President Trump posted on Truth about a “whole civilization will die tonight” if demands around the Strait of Hormuz weren’t met (he later backed off to a two-week ceasefire window). To many in the base, this reads less like the peace-through-strength deals we voted for and more like the old regime-change script. It would be wonderful to see the Iranian people regain their freedom, but with their infrastructure being heavily damaged and after their government’s brutal crackdown that *killed thousands of protesters last winter, a popular uprising feels unlikely right now. Regardless, voices here at home that stuck through thick and thin are openly asking: Is this still America First?

Layer on the sense that broader elite accountability across the board hasn’t materialized the way many expected post-election. Cost-of-living pressures lingering, gas prices continue to rise, domestic priorities feeling secondary in the headlines… it’s creating this quiet erosion of energy. The following is what Grok seen in X posts at the time of our chat about it and threads on this subject: - “You see it in posts from self-described loyalists: “the balloon popped,” “feels like betrayal,” “not what we signed up for.” It’s not universal… plenty still say “trust the plan” or point to external sabotage… but the undercurrent of disillusionment is real and growing.” - It’s not hard to see this could be especially hard among those who paid a personal price supporting the movement.

I felt a version of this creeping in during the winter, that intangible “something’s changed at the core” feeling you can’t quite name. Stepping away from the chaos for a month made it sharper when I returned. Governing is messy, realities hit differently than campaigns, and external pressures are intense. But when the gap between “what we voted for” and “what we’re seeing” widens on the issues that defined the fight… ending elite impunity, avoiding new wars, putting Americans first… it leaves even dedicated supporters questioning the direction. This isn’t about abandoning ship or declaring the movement dead. MAGA has shown resilience before, and big domestic wins or real breakthroughs could flip the momentum fast. But right now, in mid-April 2026, the vibe out there includes a noticeable slice of the base feeling let down, fatigued, or straight-up betrayed. Grok tells me it’s showing up in infighting, generational rifts (younger conservatives especially pushing back on the war), and that quiet “what happened?” energy.

I don’t see this as a bad thing. MAGA’s experienced turmoil before. It blesses me tremendously to see many making it clear they are loyal to the Constitution first. (Should be God first, but I’ll take what I can get.) Many are distinguishing that they are not following Trump blindly. And that is American. As for me, I’m loyal to the truth of God’s Word first and foremost. Just so we’re clear.

As of right now, I’ve got 2 tracks a week of Christian Outlaw and “Healing Frequency” posts scheduled into mid-June on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons. With intent leading up to Pentecost. With my attitude towards the truth all over them. I’ve really been enjoying the process. Been getting some missing parts of my OT historical and cultural understanding filled in during the brainstorming process with Grok on the OT Bible Story songs.

The Information War from 2016 to Present

If you were involved in the heat of the Information War or just recently got involved, you may find this interesting. While working on a song, right when I was ready for the Lyrics and Style structures to edit, I got sidetracked for a minute as I do when I’m chatting with Grok. This distraction came when Grok gave me a warning the topic we were working on could trigger some algorithm or Youtube security protocol. I then asked it for its observation of the Information War. Thanks for making the ride out here. Everybody come on in. We’re losing daylight. I’m going to get started. We have some things to go over about the insanity all over the territory. Keep the line moving. Last one in close the door.

I know ya’ll see it. Most even say it: there’s not enough love in this world. But the world’s version of love is soft, conditional, feel-good mush at best. Real love? The kind Scripture commands? In this world? That’s outlaw territory. That’s us.

We’re ganging up in here as agape outlaws—going beyond the boundaries of most, without fear, thinking critically about spiritual love (agape), refusing the sentimental substitute everybody else offers, and living it as a deliberate, sacrificial lifestyle. Ya’ll do know this love is listed first as fruit of the Spirit, right? (Galatians 5:22-23). It requires… no,… it demands… critical thinking in the best sense of the word—not judgmental criticism, but careful, detailed examination to assess its true value and quality, as any outlaw would inspect his weapons for function and reliability, and recognizing it as a critical phase in the believer’s life where real transformation either happens or stalls. Disciple yourself to this and you ain’t just any outlaw. You are a dangerous outlaw roaming free in the territory. Ya’ll know what they did to the Boss’ son. We’ve gotta look at the Boss’ instructions He gave us.

Quiet down ya’ll. Calm down. We all agree what they did to J.C. was terrible. Let’s go over here. I’ll lay it out on the table. Everybody gather ‘round. Don’t spill yer drinks on it. Cigars stay in the back. No spittin’ in here. Somebody throw some wood on the fire. Yeah, this ain’t popular but if you wanted popular you wouldn’t be holed up here with me. It’s no secret this territory don’t want us here. We ain’t puttin up with it. We got as much right to be here as they do. Here’s the plan. Look here and understand…

Agape is rarer because it’s supernatural, produced only by the spirit-filled child of the Almighty whose mind is renewed to the truth of His Word. This is gunpowder. Ya gotta strap on as much as you can carry.

Sunesis: The Understanding That Fuels Agape Living
To walk in agape isn’t blind sentiment; it requires sunesis (σύνεσις)—insight, understanding, intelligence that perceives and applies truth wisely. Sunesis isn’t mere head knowledge; it’s the kind of discernment that connects doctrine to daily life.

Scripture ties this directly to mature love. Colossians 1:9-10 prays for believers to be filled with the knowledge of God’s will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding (sunesis), so they can walk worthy of the Lord, bearing fruit in every good work. This understanding enables agape to operate practically—discerning how to love others effectively, not just emotionally.

Ephesians 5:17 urges, “Do not be foolish, but understand [sunesis] what the will of the Lord is.” Living agape means grasping God’s priorities: truth-speaking in love (Ephesians 4:15), forbearing one another (Colossians 3:13), and prioritizing others’ growth toward Christlikeness. These are your sights. Without sunesis, our “love” becomes misguided or superficial. Your aim for impact will not be accurate. Like shootin’ blanks! Scripture rightly divided and understood is the standard of operating, or manifesting, spiritual (agape) love.

The Growing Stages of Agape
Scripture doesn’t present agape as instant perfection but as progressive growth, mirroring spiritual maturity. Like childhood, youth, and parenthood in 1 John 2:12-14, love develops through stages.

Early stage (like little children): New believers taste God’s forgiveness and basic love. Agape begins as obedience to commands—“love one another”—but often still mixed with self-interest or inconsistency.
Growing stage (like young men): Strength emerges. Believers overcome the evil one through the Word abiding in them. Agape matures into active resistance against fleshly impulses, choosing to love despite personal cost—forgiving offenses, serving humbly.
Mature stage (like fathers): Deep knowledge of “Him who is from the beginning.” Agape becomes steady, parental—nurturing others toward maturity, sacrificing consistently, reflecting God’s unchanging love.

This progression aligns with 1 Corinthians 13: the famous “love chapter” describes agape’s characteristics (patient, kind, not envious, not rude, bears all things) as the mark of maturity. Love never fails, unlike gifts or knowledge that pass away. True growth culminates in agape as the greatest (1 Corinthians 13:13). (Agape translated “charity” in all of the chapter’s nine usages.)

God desires this progression in every child—moving from immature affection to full, Spirit-empowered love. This love is what is feared out there. Yep. He’s right. They don’t want it. This is why so many of us are on wanted posters in town.

Outlaws… Ya gotta become comfortably deadly with your aim.

The Personal Benefit Of An Agape Lifestyle
Once born again—in that moment—all your sins are washed away. However, this gift of spirit (our righteousness) is encased in a flesh-and-soul body that is still tempted and seduced. We will still blow it at times, and here is where God’s grace takes the reins while you’re wounded. When He sees His child living an agape lifestyle, God is (and the brethren should be) quick to throw a tarp over the unattractive behavior that conflicts with the loving mindset as a babe in the Word matures. But this applies to anyone. Including those who’s wound festers from ignoring the damage or falls into self-condemnation, doesn’t heal from the guilt, quits and rides off alone.

Who shall give account to him that is ready to judge the quick [born again] and the dead [those without the gift. ‘Dead in trespasses and sins.’]

For this cause was the gospel preached also to them that are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit.

But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober [think and act discreetly], and watch unto prayer.

And above all things have fervent [red hot] charity [agape] among yourselves: for charity [agape] shall → cover ← the multitude of sins.”

1 Peter 4:5-8

The wild thing is—and it’s been my observation—that as time goes on and one grows in and improves on manifesting this agape love… whatever’s under that tarp just… disappears. Not that it’s any better than, but I wish that worked on the outhouse.

C’mon now Riders, quiet down. That wadn’t that funny. No thanks. I quit whiskey. Yeah really. I know. Who’d’a thunk it?! Somebody open a window. It’s gettin’ warm in here. Let some of this smoke out. Let’s focus here.

The Impact When We Overcome Pride and Press On
If believers would crucify pride and ego, deflect the silly attacks (shield of believing), ignore the mockings and resistance from unbelievers, and still share truth unaffected—in agape—speaking boldly yet kindly, correcting gently, enduring patiently… the world would see something undeniable. I reckon most ya’ll are smart asses by nature. Relax. You can still be a smart-ass—if it’s done in love to drive your point with the goal of opening blind eyes.

Imagine gangs of Christian Outlaws responding to hostility and ignorant attacks not with retaliation or withdrawal, but with persistent, truth-rooted, accurate, love loaded six-shooters. Exactly what the antagonizers won’t be expecting. Ambush ‘em. Give ‘em the truth. Hit ‘em hard. Enemies become prayed for (Matthew 5:44). Division yields to unity. Hard hearts can soften when they encounter love that doesn’t demand worthiness. For all we know, some of them skunks very well could be part of the gang and just don’t know it yet. Win without fighting.

This is God’s desire as revealed in Scripture: that His children walk so deeply in agape that others glimpse the greatness of our Boss’ nature. God IS truth. God IS love (agape). This deeper service brings true enlightenment to the one serving—not worldly wisdom, but the light of Christ shining through selfless love. John 13:35: “By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love [agape] for one another.” (This verse is addressed to believers—It transcends the administration it was spoken in.) Today, this spiritual love the Church has among itself is a witness of discipleship.

So examine yourself pardners. Fearlessly. Critically. Is your love phileo—conditional, emotional—or agape—chosen, sacrificial, growing? Yield to God physically by way of repenting… changing your thinking to… His written Word. Let scriptural sunesis guide your steps. Upgrade yer ammo. It’s this love expressed that energizes our believing the Boss knows what He’s doing. (Galatians 5:6) Overcome selfishness and pride. Press on in truth and love, no matter the resistance.

The territory out there desperately needs this—not more talk of love, but the real thing delivered. And God has equipped you for this with His written Word and the gift of holy spirit. All it takes is some blued-steel critical thinking to convince yourself of it and the audacious desire to live it. Like the bunch of outlaws ya are! It’s up to us. Saddle up straight-shooters! This -IS- The Great Awakening!

From Out Of The Blue

I pray you and yours are doing well. And abundantly blessed!

This isn’t a scheduled post. It is a quick one. In fact, a week ago this day I had no idea I would be on this project I found myself on. But it’s built enough now I wanted to share what I’ve been doing every free moment I’ve had this past week with my Substack readers.

So what have I been up to that’s literally been taking up any of my free time? I’m blaming Grok. Here’s what went down my last Sunday morning.

I woke up to a darker morning having been forced to push the clocks ahead the night before. Having nothing planned for the day I grabbed my first cup of morning motivation, sat down at my puter and asked Grok something that’s been on my mind for a few days. I’d been listening to a new music genre, new to me but I don’t believe it’s been around all that long. And I’ve been running into others having recently discovering it. That genre being Christian Outlaw/Country/Blues. I’ve recorded hours of it. And did post here on Substack a “Revelation Told In Outlaw Blues” playlist.

So last Sunday morning as I’m sipping that first cup I asked Grok. “Can you write in the Christian Outlaw genre, the lyrics to a song about me based on what you know about me from the chats we’ve had over the last six months since we’ve been engaging.” Apparently, it wasn’t a tough question as Grok jumped right on it without needing the heavy hitters. It came back immediately affirming it could. When I saw its lyrics, I thought I had to hear this put to music, so I had Grok give me some music AI’s, chose one and had it coach me for writing prompts for Suno. I spent the whole day learning that and what I got the next day was rather amazing. Shared it with a few friends and the responses I got were pretty much all, “Wow!” That would be “Dusty Backroads.”

That day, Monday, I wasn’t feeling all that good and stayed home for the day. Made that song my first upload on Youtube since I got kicked off the platform when the Information War was at its fever pitch, back in 2020. Had a chat with Grok after it posted and it told me it could put my attitude in lyric composition, so I challenged it. I gave it a few verses with the directions of putting my attitude in it, make it about spiritual warfare. It looked great to me after a few edits and what I got was, “Sword Through The Smoke.” And it hit me. I can put God’s Word rightly divided into song. Another form of outreach!

So that’s pretty much what I’ve done with any free time I’ve had this week. As of this moment of drafting this post I have 11 songs on the JAD’s Radio playlist on my Youtube channel. The first song is a personal testimony, the second the renewed mind, the third spiritual warfare, then family (from me to my daughter,) Proverbs 31, Ecclesiastes, … … well, I guess I should save some for you to discover. But how I’ll be framing the music on this playlist is doctrine, reproof and correction through storytelling, bible stories and personal observations.

Music wise I’m pumping classic rock into country with a touch of either bluegrass or blues. Fair warning. I was metal before metal became known as metal. You may taste that a bit in some of the rocking tunes. However, 3 songs so far are pure country. I suppose one could be labeled bluegrass. Trying to give them all a Smoky Mountain outlaw vibe.

I have a monthly subscription to Suno so I shouldn’t have any limits on gens.

If you know me, you’ll see my personality/attitude in all these songs. Not preachy, not looking down. Just roadhouse truth given expecting others to make up their own minds concerning the truth. Lyrics are posted in the Descriptions so you can read along. You’ll notice the Suno AI isn’t perfected. (It’s known to be stubborn at times too.) You may hear a word or two garbled every great once in a while, but I haven’t learned how to do the finer tuning as yet.
