2nd Cheat code: Flipping on marketplaces, where buyers are, so you can put your site in front of people ready to buy.

Starter sites, are young, small websites. I make them with 10 or less articles and they are unmonetized, and with no or low traffic.

They are still valuable and sell everyday on marketplaces like Flippa.

It’s almost September and I am already in full Fall mode!

In 2 days, pumpkin spice season kicks off at Starbucks. Here in Texas, the school year already started. I’m enjoying my earlier days and I’m working harder and smarter than ever!

Every time this season rolls around, I get into hustle mode.

Years ago, that meant that I would restart my eBay dropshipping business. I’d dropship products from Walmart to eBay, or Amazon to eBay, or other retailers to eBay from November thru January and made a few hundred dollars from this.

It was my holiday spending money!

It was fun, it was a side hustle. Short-term and done! Then, rinse and repeat the next year.

While I don’t do this any more, I still get bitten by the holiday side hustle bug and that means doing this instead.

I turn on my Fiverr gigs!

These run around $100+ each and they’re basically social media shoutouts, intended for small businesses. I share them with my audience on TikTok and sometimes Pinterest.

I usually get booked several times for these gigs and I only feature them around end of year.

This is my “eBay dropshipping” of 2026, so to speak.

What other holiday hustles?

There are some awesome side hustle sites like Side Husl which you can check out for some great ideas of side gigs to take up.

Other things I’m personally doing?

I’m launching a new GPT to go with one of my websites.

• Did you know ChatGPT is now going to start requiring you to have a Pro account to have your own GPT?

• I think of GPTs as the new Excel spreadsheets of 2026, where people can use a bot to help them get organized and solve their problems, rather than doing it manually with a spreadsheet or printable

I’m also starting to teach more live classes around website flipping. This is something completely and totally new. I’m really liking it.

• The next one is about website monetization in Sept 2026 and you can signup to join the waitlist here if you want

• I’m seeing more people less interested in big courses and turning more to enjoying live workshops or classes where they can quickly learn a skill to implement

I mentioned earlier in the year, selling off my digital assets tied to my business so I can get clear and focused on my core business without having my hands in all the pots.

I do not want to be the jill of all trades, master of none.

So, that means selling off old social media accounts, newsletters, digital products and mini businesses that no longer serve me.

Yes, it means I’d be turning off these income streams but, I’d rather have one focus and one business than be as diversified as I am now. It’s a little nuts tbh lol.

I’ll still have multiple income streams but, 2-3 instead of 6-10, you know?

I always get the itch to start up a quick ecommerce business around this time of year. Even though I kinda hate ecommerce lol.

I ran multiple ecomm and dropshipping stores earlier in life. They were successful but, honestly, between slim profit margins and all the work, it’s just not worth it for me!

9 Quick Tips to Make Money from Brands This Q4

Yes, my cat gets brand deals! Here’s a snippet from an email I got yesterday from a brand wanting to work with my cat…

What I want you to know about brand work/brand deals is that you don’t need followers. You can do it with or without an audience.

With an audience, you’ll likely get a higher rate but, you can also do UGC (user-generated content).

My strategy for getting booked out by pitching brands is inside Selling With Brand Deals.

For under $20, less than the cost to feed your family lunch at McDonalds, you’ll get to learn my strategy for reaching out to companies to book paid campaigns, with no phone calls and no meetings.

• I helped a mom get over $2,500 in bookings in 3 weeks

• I helped a beginner get her first campaign in week 1 for $750

• I helped a newbie get a $500 campaign in week 1 including gifted product, from a DREAM brand she loves!

Now onto the tips…

1. Put your biz email everywhere (in your profile, bios, socials, etc.)

2. Create a media kit or portfolio in Canva

3. Consistency pitch 5 to 10 brands daily, for the best results

4. Set up a separate inbox or email address for brand work, to stay organized

5. Don’t wait for brands to reach you, outbound pitch

6. Create bundles including multiple deliverables and usage rates, to increase your total campaign rate

7. Ask brands questions, like what they want to accomplish so you can tailor a campaign custom, for them

8. Negotiate

9. Be great to work with, it can help you get booked again in the future (be on time, be consistent, follow guidelines, prompt responses, communicate well)

Ubereats: I eat out entirely more than I want to admit but this saves me when we are too tired to cook and just need to order in for the family.

Incogni: This is one of my tools in my privacy toolbox, something I’ve been so passionate about as I get older. Proton email I’m thinking about getting next.

Google Calendar is what keeps me straight and organized.

ChatGPT: honestly should have gone with their paid plan years ago. Gamechanging.

Coffee: no explanation needed

Alexa: I 100 percent need music during the day and I get my music fix from Alexa.

My water tumbler: it’s an animal print 32oz. travel mug for cold and hot drinks. I sip ice water from it all day long.

Fuzzy slippers are part of my work from home uniform and the reason my plantar fasciitis ended, thankfully.

TikTok for ideas galore! I just hit 10k on this page, and I’m celebrating with marking down my website flipping course to Black Friday prices.

Candles truly set the vibe in my space. I’m boring. It’s vanilla for me.

WhatsApp for communication on personal and business. So much better than texting from my phone.

Why I like recurring affiliate programs

Think about this:

You refer 10 customers.

Then 20.

Then 50.

Instead of starting from $0 every month, recurring commissions can potentially stack as you continue bringing in new customers.

And you don’t necessarily need a huge following.

A creator with a small audience of business owners could potentially be much more valuable to a company than someone with 100K random followers.

This was a strategy I personally do and have done in the past to earn up to $1,800 to $2,500 weeks from a single affiliate program.

Reddit is a powerhouse.

I have talked about it over and over, here, here, here and here.

I use it like I used Medium when I was more active there. But, Reddit ranks much better in search engines, than Medium in my opinion (at the moment).

You can use it for parasite SEO, to drive leads and sales for your business, get clients, book freelance work and much more.

How exactly did it drive money to my bank account?

I have a formula.

Reveal pain point > share personal experience with pain point > position solution > offer freebie

This gets me hordes of email opt-ins for my email newsletter. This is a cool approach to building up a newsletter fast for newsletter flipping, by the way.

As I do this, side effects happen….

• I build my reputation as an authority or industry expert

• I attract people who want to do what I’m doing and are willing to pay me to get there (digital product and coaching sales )

• Brands approach me to do projects and paid campaigns

• I get offered work for freelance service work

There are so many ways to use Reddit for business. I have gotten almost half a dozen job offers (W2 jobs and freelance contract jobs) from it myself, in the past several months.

How to start over there?

Start small. Comment first, a ton. Then venture out and publish your first non-salesy post. Then, your first targeted post in your field of expertise. Be specific. No links. Be helpful.

That’s how I would approach it.

Students of mine from Redditpreneur have told me they have gotten as many as 60 leads from one Reddit post.🥹

Business is growing and life is busy.

I’m staring at my Olive Garden so desperately wanting to scarf down the salad. It’s one of my all-time favorite salads. With the black olives, croutons and that yummy Olive Garden italian dressing.

Digital asset sell-offs

I have always had my hands in many pots so, all the extra digital assets floating around, I’ll sell off.

Even a dormant IG with a few thousand followers I’m doing nothing with, is valuable.

Why let it sit when I could sell it and get paid for my work and effort toward it as an asset.

You can do this with newsletters, YouTube channels, digital products, Skool communities, Medium pages, you name it.

Brands for Q4

The busiest shopping season is in Q4 of the year. Every year I get started a little earlier. And this year is no different.

Now is the time you should start preparing, if you’re a creator.

You can partner with brands who pay you for exposure to your audience, if you are a creator like a:

• Content creator

• Influencer

• Writer

• Artist

• Podcaster

• Social media personality

• Newsletter operator

• Blogger

• Website operator

If you have an audience, you can monetize it. My community on Instagram Creator’s Hunting is where I share these opportunities.

A lot of people go to networks and marketplace to get exposed to these opportunities.

One of my latest campaigns paid me $1,100 and it was from Passion Froot.

But, my secret sauce method of getting booked every month is pitching!

If you’re new to sponsored content and brand deals, try both strategies out and see what you like best.

Here are some tips for starting.

1. Clearly identify your niche and audience (you will be asked about the demo of your audience, metrics and analytics so know this or know where to go to easily access it)

2. Put your business email everywhere (make it easy for brands to contact you)

3. Consistently pitch brands every week (when I’m super consistent I do at least 10 a day)

Health and wealth

These really go hand in hand. I had to call 9-1-1 the other day. The second time I had to do this in life.

Followed by an ER visit for my son the next day and an ER visit for me yesterday.

This really puts things into perspective. Everyone is fine and well and I’m so grateful and blessed for this.

I had a long, interesting convo with a friend recently about health insurance. I really think it’s a must but, as an entrepreneur, it’s a total headache, for me at least.

As I scrolled through my phone recently after deleting a ton of apps just living on my phone, not being used, I was inspired to write this newsletter.

The 14 apps that quietly run my life

Let’s go!

These are apps that I use for personal and work life. Some are really simple and make sense.

Others might blow your mind.

Others might be indulgent and totally make you scratch your head, as to why I use it.

So, here’s the list and why I use these apps…

1. Acorns

I learned about this being the app where you round to the next dollar and save that change with the app. Really smart. I don’t use it for that.

I use Acorns Kids!

Paying my son allowance without running to the ATM every week, managing his spending, blocking purchases, and putting limits with the app. That’s how I use it.

My son is 14, he has autism.

He is very independent and wants to have a wallet and debit card. It’s important to me that I teach him money skills so this was a solution. It was hard to find teen banking that offered everything Acorns did.

2. H-E-B

A Texas grocery store and yes, I use the app to do pickup and delivery orders. Is it cheaper than in-person grocery shopping?

Technically no however, here’s my justification.

First, time savings. I can spend 20 minutes putting together a list and ordering groceries for a scheduled pickup or delivery, or I can spend 60 to 90 minutes dragging my tired body through the store with my 14-year old tagging along wanting something in every other aisle.

Going in person COSTS me more money. Not because of my kiddo either, because of me, ha. I throw so many extras in my cart, it’s wild. So the app saves me.

3. Waterminder

Drink your daily water. It’s important. This keeps me on track and I like the gulp guzzle sounds the app makes when you log your water intake.

4. Vita Mahjong

A mahjong game that I’m hooked on. Super fun. I’m on level 243, and my hubby is on level 400-something. They actually approached me for a brand deal a few weeks ago too. Love this game!

It’s my little getaway, a little break throughout the day when I just want to play on my phone.

5. Instagram

Social media is a big part of my business. I use IG to create and post stories and reels. That content funnels leads and customers to me and helps me bring revenue to my business.

6. TikTok

Same deal with TikTok. What I love about TikTok is all the creator programs they have available. I just monetized one of my backup TikToks with the TikTok Creator Affiliate program with my AI avatar!

I’m seeing other AI avatars make up to $1,000/day modeling clothing and products, selling TikTok Shop products.

Whether I’m using their creator programs, doing livestreams or posting to get leads and sales, it’s a big income driver for my business and an app I use every single work day.

7. Threads

Same deal as with IG and TikTok. I love Threads because it’s written content. Short “tweet-like” posts and it’s not hard for them to go viral.

I made a one sentence post with an image 2 days ago that brought over 2,200 views. That’s not crazy or anything but, it brought me leads and grew my following. I was getting over 330K views/mo on Threads at one time.

8. Amazon Music

Music is such a nice retreat. It breaks up the silence and I have it playing almost always. I have some light music on during my livestreams, while I’m working quietly at home, all.the.time!

My go-to is usually Amazon Music but, I have a Sirius XM subscription too.

9. Starbucks

I go here way too much. The app is where I put together my mobile orders. Then I run to the drive-thru, scoop it and return home with my fuel!

10. Google Sheets

I use Sheets for so much, from tracking sponsors I’m working with to managing my costs for the business and more. The app on my phone makes it a quick reference for me.

11. Google Analytics

This is how I track traffic on my websites.

12. Gmail

My email address, also connected to my biz email addresses so it can all be managed from one central dashboard, on my phone.

13. Skool

To approve students to my course communities I run, like Redditpreneur and The Art of the Microflip. I can access the community real fast to make announcements and answer questions.

14. Surfshark

This is a VPN. I don’t why I haven’t used this for years already.

Honorable Mentions

These next few are not apps on my phone. I go to the browser to access them but, I want to share because I use these almost daily.

ChatGPT - I use this for so much. I created my own GPT bot too with Chat, for my website flipping course.

Stripe - for incoming payments for some of my products and services I sell.

Paypal - same as Stripe.

WhatsApp - I actually do use this everyday. I talk to friends and clients on WhatsApp.

After getting inconsistent delivery on my phone for personal texts, I brought WhatsApp into the picture and it’s much much better with the delivery.

Notepad - This app I use. It’s so basic but, I like to jot down notes. I was using Evernote for a bit but, I went back to my phone notes app where I can organize thoughts, jot things down to remember, write ideas for articles, all kinds of stuff, honestly.

Canva - I use the desktop version. The app I don’t like using as much but, desktop is pretty good.

Capcut - I haven’t used this one in a while but, when I would, I was using the app. I was in (still am in) the Doordash Creator Program and I’d use Capcut for video editing.

Notion - I use the desktop version. It’s a weekly use for me.

Beehiiv - This is used throughout the month for writing email newsletters.

Reddit - The app I use almost daily, for responding to DMs and comments. I post as well, usually from the desktop version.

What apps am I going to be trying soon?

• Granola for AI meeting notes

• ElevenLabs to give my AI avatar a voice

• Monarch Money for budgeting, I’ve heard good things

• Too Good to Go - I downloaded this yesterday. You can buy mystery bundles from restaurants at a good price. Like a bakery that has leftover product at the end of the day, will sell you a bundle of baked goods for $5, that would normally cost $30. This is all over TikTok and it looks so fun.

• Notion - Already use this but, will test the app soon

• Geneva I heard is becoming a Skool alternative, might check it out

• GasBuddy I use on and off - primarily during storm season to find gas (because people horde when there’s panic of gas shortages even if no shortage exists)

• Dollar General app - I want to start penny shopping and will use this to scan products at Dollar General so I can make a stockpile for my family and donate the extras

• Calendly I already use the desktop version of, thinking of getting the app

I wanted to talk about some of the ways I use AI in my work to make money online.

I use ChatGPT almost everyday now. I want to get into Claude. I hear great things. But, I haven’t made time to test it out much yet.

Here’s what I’m doing…

• I use AI to build and flip sites - I use Lovable and 10Web for that. These AI website builders help me make sites like this…

• I use AI to create my sales pages and templates

• I get scripts and messaging ideas for my emails and short-form video production

• I create images and videos that I post on social media

Here’s a roundup I put together of more ways AI can pay (including creator programs you probably didn’t know existed).

I know this topic is so controversial. I want to work with AI not against it. Sadly, it has already impacted my business negatively by taking away a big income stream of mine (freelance writing).

A big client of mine eliminated his entire team of writers and started using AI to create his content. I see it more and more challenging to get paid freelance writing work now which is why I quit a while back.

I don’t say this to discourage you, this is just my take and my personal experience.

I try to keep what’s within my control, within my control.

What a spin from a few weeks ago talking about doing Medium niche pages, right?

Here’s what I’m thinking and what I have experienced so far…

The rise and fall of Medium niche pages (for me, at least)

I love the idea of Medium niche pages because you can create content around a niche and build a loyal audience around it.

Then, monetize from there, doing affiliate marketing, selling products, and other income streams.

I asked ChatGPT about the idea and here’s what it said…

The Pros

• Medium already has a large audience, so you don’t have to wait months for Google rankings.

• It’s free to start.

• You can write AI-assisted content (as long as you edit it into something genuinely useful).

• Articles can rank in Google and be recommended inside Medium.

• You can repurpose content you create for blogs, newsletters, Reddit, or social media.

The Cons

• You don’t own the platform. Medium can suspend your account, remove articles, or change its policies. If that happens, your business could be affected overnight.

• Algorithm changes. A publication getting 100,000 monthly views today could lose most of its traffic if Medium changes how it recommends content.

• Limited branding. Every publication has a similar look and feel. You can’t fully customize the design, add advanced features, or create a unique user experience like you can with your own website.

• Lower asset value. Buyers generally place more value on websites that have their own domain, hosting, analytics, and diversified traffic than on a Medium publication alone.

• Email list limitations. You don’t automatically own the relationship with Medium followers. That’s why it’s important to encourage readers to join your own email list.

• Revenue isn’t guaranteed. Many creators earn very little from the Medium Partner Program. Success depends on consistently publishing content that people actually read and engage with.

• Limited SEO control. You can’t optimize technical SEO, site speed, internal linking, structured data, or other elements the way you can on a WordPress site.

• Competition is intense. Popular niches like AI, finance, productivity, and entrepreneurship are crowded with thousands of articles.

• Policy restrictions. Medium has rules around affiliate links, AI-generated content, and promotional material. Violating them can hurt your distribution or account.

• Harder to scale with a team. If you’re planning to build dozens of publications, managing them under Medium’s policies can become more complicated than managing your own portfolio of websites.

These pros and cons are taken straight from ChatGPT. See how long the list of drawbacks is, compared to the list of benefits.

Why quit, tho?

I don’t consider it a hard quit, just temporary.

I found myself looking at Medium after a week of no writing. Then two weeks of no writing. Then a month.

My last post was about a month ago.

This one.

I have grown 60 followers there and I love writing but, given the direction I want to take my business, I’m not sure if I want to continue with niche pages.

What I’ve noticed…

Writing consistently on Medium brings me immediate benefits. Almost right away, I start getting inbound requests from brands to work together.

They want me to join as an affiliate. Or, they want me to feature them in an upcoming article in exchange for gifted access to their product.

Or, pay me in a sponsorship.

This is great.

This happens because of this…

You notice my business email is in my profile.

This is a little trick I started doing years ago, that helps attract brands to me. I want it to be super easy for them to contact me so I put my business email EVERYWHERE.

I’m using my AI avatar from Instagram as the face of this page, as you see.

Other things I’ve noticed…

I’m running out of ideas.😳

The way I write for Medium is not the same way I write for Substack, or Reddit or Threads.

It’s more blog post-y. More mid to long-form content.

And, ideas are scarce lately. Probably because I’m so busy with other projects.

I wrote this Substack newsletter a few months back about a slow summer.

Surprisingly, it has not been.

And, I’m so grateful for it. Being more busy means I have to put more focus on what’s existing rather than building something new, if that makes sense.

I already have deadlines, projects, clients, courses and communities I’m running. I’m so busy with that, the Medium niche pages are a side project that I have to pause for now, until at least after summer.

But, won’t Fall be busier?

Yes, but, I’ll have more time. Summer is when my kiddo is home. We spend the days sleeping in, going swimming, shopping, going for walks, traveling, and all that means less time for work.

I can manage everything well now but, with the school year restarting in a few weeks, I’ll have more of my time back during the day.

And then this…

One of the perks of Medium writing is ranking on Google. However, I’ve noticed other platforms rank better and faster.

I’ve been putting more attention on those.

Like Reddit, for example.

Curious about Reddit? I got 3 job offers in the past month here. I’ve made 4 figures in the past 30 days from Reddit, too. I get 10K to 300K+ views per post and get leads and sales often, as a result.

So, final word…

I’m not saying goodbye to Medium forever but, for right now, until at least end of summer.

If I can eek out a story published there once a week until Fall, I’d be grateful. I’ll see if I can manage to do that.

I feel like every entrepreneur eventually discovers a few business “cheat codes.”

Here are 28 of mine...

1. You don’t need a new business idea. Find something already making money and create your version.

2. Use TOOLS! My faves right now: ChatGPT, Pretty Prompt, Lovable and 10Web, Beacons

3. Build an audience before you desperately need people to buy something.

4. If people keep asking you the same question, turn the answer into a digital product.

5. A small, engaged audience can make you more money than a large audience that doesn’t trust you.

6. Sell the solution, not the 97 videos inside your course or program.

7. Your first version does not need to be perfect. It needs to be available for purchase.

8. You can use AI to turn one idea into a blog post, email, TikTok, Pinterest pin, and digital product.

9. If a product isn’t selling, change the positioning before you create another product.

10. Reddit is one of the best places to find out what people are struggling with. Read the questions. (same for Quora)

11. The comments section is free market research.

12. People will literally tell you what they want to buy. Pay attention to the words they use.

13. Create content around problems people are already searching for.

14. A boring business that makes money is better than a “cool” business nobody buys from.

15. You don’t need 10 income streams. You need one that works and multiple ways to monetize it.

16. Your email list is more valuable than your follower count.

17. Make the free content helpful. Make the paid product faster, deeper, and easier to follow.

18. Stop answering the same question for free in your DMs. Create a resource and send people to it (I do this repeatedly and it’s created a new recurring income stream for me)

19. Payment plans can turn a “I can’t afford it” into a customer.

20. If something sells once, don’t immediately move on. Figure out how to sell it 100 more times.

21. Your old content is not dead. Rewrite it. Refilm it. Repost it.

22. You can buy, build, grow, and sell digital assets just like people do with physical assets.

23. A website does not have to make $10,000 a month to have value.

24. Sometimes the fastest money isn’t starting another business. It’s selling an asset you already own.

25. Package the boring stuff. SOPs, templates, prompts, checklists, and systems make offers more valuable.

26. People pay for speed. Show them how your offer saves time.

27. You do not need to know everything to start. You need to know the next few steps.

28. Build things people can buy from you...and build things people can buy FROM you.

That last one changed how I look at online business.

But, can you sell on Reddit?

Sure.

How?

Very strategically.

I use a soft sales approach to build my reputation, grow my karma, email list and newsletters, get leads, sales, hired for projects and yes, job offers.

How did I get 3 job offers in 3 weeks?

You want to build yourself as an authority on the platform. Choose one or two things you’re good at or known for and help people for free, around that expertise you have.

For me, as a 10-year website flipper, I talk to people about building and selling sites for business or an income stream.

I also talk about digital marketing and what I've learned, struggled with and succeeded with in my years or using the internet + marketing to run my business.

• Go to the right subreddits where you can help people

• Post and comment (comment more)

• Absolutely no selling

• No links

Believe me when I say, the platform is so viral, getting as many views as you might receive on your TikTok post or Instagram reel is possible just on your comments!

Then, when I talk about the views and traffic on your posts….

If done correctly, you can get MASSIVE, massive traffic. I will get about 20X the number of views on my Reddit posts as I do on my 120K+ TikTok account.

When I tell you, it takes me days to reply to all my DMs and requests, I’m so serious. This is why I typically only post there 3 or 4 times a month.

Less is more, literally.

So, what’s the blueprint?

Be real. Be authentic. Talk about what you know, with authority. Be helpful and don’t sell or link drop.

The job offers I got were unsolicited.

They came to my DMs and they were fruitful! This is the power of Reddit.

Don’t sleep on it.

What the heck is a side quest and how can you use the to work towards your goals?

• Build new skills.

• Generate extra income.

• Prevent burnout by adding variety.

• Sometimes grow into your main project.

I am growing a content empire with niche Medium pages. I’m also learning day trading on the side and hope to make that a small additional income stream in a few hours a month.

I’m also working on relaunching my website flipping YouTube channel.

What I love about side quests is that they feel more exploratory and they improve your skills.

And, you don’t need to spend weeks or months finding the perfect side hustle. Do a side quest instead.

Some side quests never become businesses, and that’s okay.

Others become life-changing.

Think about it:

• A blog started for fun becomes a six-figure website.

• A weekend app turns into a SaaS company.

• A newsletter grows into a media business.

• A YouTube channel becomes a full-time career.

• A collectibles website becomes a digital asset that sells for five figures.

Every successful business starts as someone’s side quest.

The Rules of a Good Side Quest

1. Keep it small.

Don’t spend six months planning. Build the first version this weekend.

2. Learn by doing.

You don’t need to know SEO before starting a website or marketing before launching a newsletter. You’ll learn far more by publishing than by watching another tutorial.

3. Build assets, not just income.

Freelancing can pay the bills, but assets—websites, newsletters, apps, digital products, and communities—can continue creating value long after you’ve built them.

4. Expect to pivot.

Your first idea probably won’t be your last. The goal is momentum, not perfection.

Side Quest Ideas

• Build a niche website.

• Launch a weekly newsletter.

• Create a simple AI tool.

• Sell digital templates.

• Start a YouTube channel.

• Build a free online calculator.

• Create a collectibles price guide.

• Launch a local business directory.

• Write an ebook.

• Build a micro SaaS.

None of these require permission. Just start!

Most can be started with little more than a laptop and a few hours each week.

The Best Time to Start

The biggest mistake people make is waiting until they have the perfect idea.

Instead, choose one project that excites you and commit to working on it for the next 30 days.

Treat it like a side quest.

Maybe it stays a hobby.

Maybe it earns a few hundred dollars a month.

Or maybe it becomes the business that changes your career.

You’ll never know unless you begin.

AI in my life

I need more organization throughout my home, honestly but, mainly in my bedroom. My house has a lack of storage space and without getting rid of everything I have, I want to make better use of the space.

So, I asked ChatGPT.

Here’s what I started with…

I took a picture of my messy dresser. It has a collection of supplements, makeup, perfumes, flashlight, batteries, just odds and ends.

I asked Chat to help me organize it and it spit out a picture of how to accomplish an organized space with what I had.

• It told me to organize my things by category: makeup, toiletries, supplements/meds, etc.

• Then get 4 wicker bins or storage contains

• Add a label to each one

• Organize my stuff into the categories

I did it!

This is the example image Chat provided to me.

I had 2 wicker bins (from Ross Dress for Less) just hanging out in my closet. I also had some clear plastic organization trays, so 2 trays and 2 bins.

Done.

Now my dresser top is organized! Thanks Chat!

What’s next?

I want to tackle my desk, nightstands, and the kitchen. Then probably my son’s room.

I didn’t have to pay for anything for this (although I do have a $20/mo Chatgpt subscription) - I just needed to prompt for what I needed.

An example of how good prompting, with a tool like Pretty Prompt would come in handy here.

I don’t know how many times I have prompted for the same thing 10 different times, not being clear enough for express my needs. Prompting is a real skill and takes time to develop. So, an extra help can be such a time saver and make things more stress-free for you.

AI in my business

Ahh, I use AI so much. Idea generating, image creation, you name it.

I recently made my first GPT.

This is for website flipping. I made a bot to help students inside my website flipping course with flipping sites.

It helps with prompting for AI site builders, website valuations, monetization strategy, traffic planning and a lot more.

I also created this graphic for my TikTok livestreams.

The lives are where I make the bulk of my sales from my website flipping course. It made this graphic for me that I put into TikTok Live Studio.

Prompting is a career skill. I use it in work every single day.

Knowing how to communicate with AI is a major advantage.

These few examples of AI in life and work are just scratching the surface. Here are 10 more ways to use AI…

I’m back from vacation, and it was much needed.

15 articles a week - how’s it going?

It has been a challenge haha. I have to be honest.

I am pivoting my business and putting more focus on one thing, letting the others fall to the back burner.

Eventually, I’ll sell off all the other income streams as I just focus on one or two things in my business.

You know I do website flipping. You can flip newsletters, digital product businesses, social media pages, etc. All kinds of digital assets.

That will come next.

As I make these changes, it’s been harder to work.

Not to mention, my laptop screen just broke and I am reluctant to get it repaired because I’ll be without my primary computer and its not the same working on a tablet or phone.

Although I have a backup computer, it’s no fun to work on, if I’m being honest.

The screen break happened just before my vacation too. I’m just going to buckle down, get ahead of work and take it in to get fixed.

So, things have slowed but, luckily I have no shortage of ideas. I’ll be getting back to it starting next week.

Where do I post?

Medium, Reddit, my various email newsletters, and LinkedIn.

I could post 2 Reddit posts and 1 Medium post and that counts as my 3 posts for the day.

Or, 2 email newsletters and 1 Medium post and that’s 3 posts.

Or, 3 LinkedIn posts.

3 a day, or 15 a week is my target.

That’ll be a whopping 90 posts a month and once I nail that down, I’m excited to see what will come from it.

Here’s what I’m thinking….

1. Increased traffic and visibility

2. More inbound requests for brand deals and sponsored campaigns (my ebook Selling With Brand Deals (use code NEWBIE for 50% OFF) talks about pitching brands for campaigns, its my #1 way for getting gigs, alongside other strategies like inbound requests)

3. Email list growth

4. Follower growth on those platforms (more Medium followers, more email subscribers, etc.)

Writing 15 stories a day - my update

My laptop just went out. Well, the screen.

This has slowed me down.

My backup laptop is available but I have no incentive to use it lol. It’s old and clunky. For now, I’m using my desktop monitor for a screen which works fine but I love to be mobile when I write and I can’t do that so, things have slowed a bit.

My new Medium page is at 41 followers which I’m thrilled with. My secret to quick growth here is publishing inside publications. Try this, if you want quick growth on Medium.

My slow summer has been anything but, so far (knock on wood) and I am sooooo grateful.

I am still day trading, and it’s going on 6 months. What a journey. But so fun to learn and continue to get better and better with my skills, over time.

It garners a loyal audience, lots of active viewers and buyers.

I saw a creator I follow make $15k from this a few months ago (she only went live 10 times during the entire month). Then she refined her strategy, doubling her product price and made $37k the next month!

I started doing this and I am at 4X sales my first week.

What I have learned from livestreaming has come from a number of courses I have taken over time.

Things like going live at least an hour, sending an email to your list when Live, and a few other things help me make 4 figures a week with only 15 to 40ish viewers a live, sometimes more.

The 50K+ community

I’ve had this community for between 6 to 12 months.

It’s on Reddit.

My friend did the same thing on Facebook, growing a niche community to over 20K members.

Here’s how it started…

I wanted to create a new community to post in, where I made the rules and could garner support, viewership and traffic.

I knew that growth could start happening on autopilot if I fueled the group the right way.

I already knew how to create high traffic content on Reddit. So, I just did that consistently, posting about 3 to 4 times a month and commenting throughout the month.

People naturally checked out my profile and migrated to my group.

Today, at over 51K members and hovering around 500K views/month, it’s a top Reddit group and brings me email list growth, clients, sales, leads, and brand deals.

If I were to repeat this, here is how I’d do it…

Step 1: Pick a niche - choosing one target niche, ideally one you like and have an interest in, establishing rules and then creating content regularly to fuel the group.

To be honest, if the group has no followers, no group members, that’s fine with me. I’m happy to post in a place on Reddit that I can use my parasite SEO strategies on to rank on Google.

The group growth is a nice side effect of just being active on Reddit. And it brings me a ton of benefits, as I shared above.

Step 2: Post AND Comment

You don’t have to try to recruit people to your group or invite others to join. I did none of this.

You can attract people to you with your content. This is one of the things I teach in Redditpreneur.

You don’t have to stand on top of a tall building and scream, “hey, look at me, come join my group.”

Just be yourself. Post your content. Comment in a helpful, thoughtful way and you’ll get group growth.

It’s attraction marketing.

It’s honestly just that simple.

By the way, if you ever get tired of the group in the future, it is a digital asset. It’ll be valuable and yes, you can sell it.

Community is sooo big. And so important. It’s very valuable, very helpful for sales and reputation building too.

Often very underrated, in my opinion.

But, look…

I made a comment a few days ago. It’s been viewed almost 10K times and it has driven dozens and dozens of leads for me.

Reddit continues to be untapped. And, it’s full of such great traffic. You just need to know how to harness it and capture that traffic for your offers, to sell products, services, grow your email list, drive traffic to your content or stories, and more.

15 articles/week - how’s it going?

This is an update to this post, where I talked about writing 15 articles/week to grow my brand.

It’s harder than it sounds.

I had the idea of posting 3 times a day, even short, bite-sized articles across my emails, newsletter, Medium blogs, personal blogs, social media.

It has been a challenge and I have not posted 3 times every single day but, I’m making it a habit and a routine is starting to form.

My new Medium is at 33 followers so far.

I will actually be creating multiple niche Medium accounts. I’ll probably kick that off next month.

I want to do one for:

• Website flipping

• Digital products

• One more topic (yet to be discovered)

So, a total of 4 Medium pages. I’ll create a newsletter alongside it and maybe a website.

I wrote a newsletter about my journey into day trading. It’s my new hobby and I love it! I’ll continue sharing snippets of my journey here and there. It’s probably one of the hardest things I’ve learned but, I love a good challenge.

A peer of mine who started a month ahead of me is trading with multiple prop firm accounts now and is getting $1,200 weekly payouts.

And, scalp trades can take seconds or minutes. It’s super fast and within 20 to 30 minutes you are done for the day. I love it.

This post is from a corporate mom who just quit her job after learning day trading. She makes $300 to $500ish a day from it now.

I thought I’d share a bit about my new income stream I started 5 months ago. I sit at my iPad usually, but sometimes my phone.

Push numbers up and down on a screen.

This morning, in less than 5 minutes, I earned this…

I lost $16 and had a $12 loss.

Any idea what I’m doing?

Day trading!

I made $768 net for the day.

In under 5 minutes, no joke.

This is paper trading so it’s like practice money. But, I’ve been learning this skill over the past few months and I’ll be trading actual money by the end of next month.

I’ve always wanted day trading to be an income stream of mine. It’s not passive. But, it doesn’t require a lot of time.

And, you don’t need to be perfect. I mean, you see I didn’t win 100% of my trades. But, I won most of them.

Justin just got a cashout (also in my program).

Even if I lose more times than I win. If I win more money each time, I’m still on top.

For example, I lose 3 times at $100 loss each (or $300 total) but, I win 2 times at $250 each (or $500 total). I won $500 and lost $300 so, net $200. Still on top.

The plan

I will be trading with prop firm capital. Not my own money.

Once you’re good enough to earn consistently, you test to get a prop firm capital account. They give you a capital account between $25K to $150K, depending on what you choose.

Then, they take 10% to 20% of your earnings on each trade and you keep 80% to 90%.

The big traders will have 5 to 20 of these prop firm accounts, aim to win a small amount each day like $200 to $300, then copytrade it across all their accounts.

For example, win $300 for the day and copytrade it across your 10 prop firm accounts to make $3,000 for the day ($300 x 10 copytrades).

It’s been a lot of fun and I’m excited to see what things brings.
