I spent four hours fighting with a business card.

Yes. Four frustrating, tear my hair out, hours.

I have been creating business cards for more than 40 years. This should have been somewhere between make coffee and answer email on the difficulty scale.

Instead, there I was moving words around, changing sizes, rearranging graphics, trying another background, changing it back again...

Trying to make everything fit.

And getting increasingly irritated with a tiny rectangle of cardstock that had apparently decided to become my spiritual teacher for the day.

Eventually I discovered something much bigger than a formatting problem.

I was solving the wrong problem.

The problem wasn’t that I couldn’t make everything fit.

The problem was that everything didn’t belong. I was trying to fit too much into
that very tiny business card.

And suddenly, this wasn’t about a business card anymore.

How often do we do this with our lives?

We decide something has to work.

It could be a relationship.

A business.

A role we’ve played for years.

A way we’ve been marketing ourselves.

A commitment we made six months ago.

Even an identity that once fit us beautifully.

Then something starts rubbing us the wrong way, shifts and becomes out of balance.

So we adjust. We accommodate. We work harder. We rearrange ourselves. We make ourselves smaller here and bigger there.

All the while, we keep demanding:

How do I make this work?

But that’s not always the question your soul is asking.

Sometimes the question is:

Does this still belong in my life at all?

That is a very different question.And frankly, it’s an inconvenient one.

Because once you ask it, your soul may actually answer. (and you can’t pretend not to hear)😏

We live in a world that loves solutions.

Five steps forward.

Three hacks.

Seven ways to fix whatever has gone wrong before breakfast.

But discernment isn’t about becoming a better problem solver. It’s about becoming conscious enough to recognize which problems are actually yours to solve.

There are moments when resistance means: Keep going.

And there are moments when resistance means: Wrong door.

Knowing the difference is where intuition enters.

Your mind may say:

I already invested so much time in this.

Your soul says: And?

Your mind says: But this was the plan.

Your soul says: It was.

Your mind says: People expect me to...

And your soul becomes suspiciously quiet.

Because perhaps you’ve reached one of those moments when the old blueprint has completed its assignment.

Not failed.

Completed.

That’s an important distinction.

Maybe You Haven’t Lost Your Way

This is something I see repeatedly in people who are awakening to a deeper sense of who they are. They think something has gone wrong because the old answers don’t work anymore.

But what if nothing has gone wrong?

What if you’ve changed?

What if the frequency you’re carrying now simply doesn’t fit inside some of the structures you created before?

That business card became an absurdly perfect metaphor.

I was trying to squeeze too much onto 2 x 3.5 inches.

And suddenly I could see all the places human beings do exactly the same thing.

We try to squeeze our enormous, multidimensional selves into jobs, relationships, identities and expectations that were never designed to hold who we have become.

Then we wonder why there is friction.

Perhaps the friction isn’t always the problem.

Perhaps the friction is information.

Here’s the question I’m sitting with now

Not: How can I make this fit?

But: What actually belongs here?

Try it with something in your own life.

Something you’ve been pushing, fixing, rearranging or worrying over.

Ask yourself:

What if the problem I’ve been trying to solve isn’t the real problem?

Then don’t immediately answer it.

Give yourself a minute.

Let your nervous system settle.

Let the very efficient 3D project manager in your head put down her clipboard.

And listen.

Because beneath all that problem-solving may be something you already know.

A truth. A direction.

A no. A yes.

A door you’ve been pretending not to see.

A piece of your divine blueprint trying to get your attention.

Sometimes your soul doesn’t need another solution.

It needs enough silence for you to recognize what you already know.

The business card that started all this...

I keep coming back to these words.

Not that she finally fixed herself.

Not that she finally became spiritual enough.

Not even that she finally figured out her life.

She remembered.

Because I believe there are some of us who came into this lifetime carrying something very specific.

A frequency.

A gift.

A piece of the puzzle.

A mission.

And then we arrived on Earth and did what humans do.

We got jobs. Raised children. Paid mortgages. Fell in love with people we probably shouldn’t have. Lost people we thought would always be there. Reinvented ourselves. Survived things we never imagined we’d have to survive.

We became very, very good at being human. We also came in with specific gifts to develop, explore and share. Our Soul Contract contains the blue print for our best life here.

And somewhere in all of that, we forgot.

Not everything.

That’s the interesting part.

Because the breadcrumbs remained.

🔹That inexplicable pull toward certain people.

🔹The subjects you can’t stop reading about.

🔹The places that feel strangely familiar.

🔹The thing you’ve always known but couldn’t explain.

🔹The voice inside you that occasionally whispers:

🔹There is something more I’m supposed to be doing.

I don’t think that voice is necessarily ambition.

I think sometimes it’s memory.

What if your mission has been trying to get your attention?

We tend to imagine a “soul mission” as something enormous.

Save the planet. Write the book. Build the movement. Get on the stage.

Maybe.

But your mission may begin much closer to home.

🔹Tell the truth you’ve been afraid to tell.

🔹Use the gift you’ve kept hidden because other people might think you’re strange.

🔹Create the thing that keeps tapping you on the shoulder at 3 a.m.

🔹Stop giving your authority away.

🔹Trust what you know.

🔹Call the person.

🔹Take the trip.

🔹Say yes.

🔹Say no.

Sometimes the mission doesn’t arrive with trumpets and a celestial memo marked URGENT: FROM THE UNIVERSE.

Sometimes it arrives as a persistent inner knowing that simply refuses to leave you alone.

And I believe the timing matters.

Look at the world right now.

Everything is being questioned.

Systems. Institutions. Identities. What we were taught. What we believed was possible. Even our understanding of consciousness itself.

This is not exactly a quiet little incarnation.

Which makes me wonder:

What if you didn’t come here accidentally at this particular moment in history?

What if some part of you knew exactly what you were signing up for?

And what if the restlessness so many of us are feeling isn’t because something has gone wrong?

What if it’s activation?

A reminder.

A cosmic tap on the shoulder saying:

Remember.

Remember who you are.

Remember what you carry.

Remember why you came.

Because perhaps the time you came here for isn’t somewhere in the future.

Perhaps it’s now.

Years later, I heard an inner voice tell me to go to chiropractic school, and my heart instantly sang; I came alive. I enrolled the next day. That one decision 45 years ago led to me being right here, right now on this stage.

What Is Your Soul Resonance?

In this presentation, I talk about something I call Soul Resonance. You know it when you experience it. Someone walks into a room, and you feel them before they say a word. Another person enters and seems almost invisible.

It isn’t their clothing, title, age, credentials, or number of followers. It’s the frequency, the soul resonance they carry.

We are broadcasting information all the time.

Each of us came here carrying our own tone, our unique note.

Imagine Gaia as an enormous orchestra. Every one of us is an instrument. Your instrument is infused with your tone. If one person, one instrument, is out of alignment, off-key, you can hear the inharmonious notes.

When you are in harmony with your tone, you are aligned with Mother Earth. When we spend our lives trying to play someone else’s music, something inside goes out of tune.

But when you remember who you are and begin expressing that frequency fully?

You become radiant.

Not performative.

Not louder.

Not spiritually impressive.

Radiant.

Your Radiance Comes From the Inside Out

Radiance isn’t something you put on.

It isn’t a better outfit, a perfect body, a bigger platform, or pretending everything is wonderful when it isn’t. It comes from reconnecting with all of yourself.

Your consciousness.

Your body.

Your intuition.

Your sensuality.

Your joy.

Your playfulness.

Your inner knowing.

Your soul.

And sometimes becoming more radiant means noticing what has been dimming you.

The people.

The places.

The old identities.

The obligations.

The beliefs you inherited.

The lives other people imagined for you.

Then We Do Something Together

Near the end of the presentation, I wanted people to do more than understand frequency. I wanted them to feel it in their bodies.

So I took a simple song I couldn’t get out of my head and expanded it into a cellular activation.

We sing to the heart.

The lungs.

The mind.

The blood.

The bones.

The nervous system.

The DNA.

The intuition.

And the deeper remembrance of who we are.

It begins:

Every single cell inside my body
Every single cell is happy and well.

Yes, I sing.

No, I am not auditioning for Broadway.

That’s rather the point.

Sometimes embodiment requires us to stop worrying about how we look and actually participate in our own aliveness.

The Time to Live Your Truth Is Now

Many of us volunteered to be here during this extraordinary time.

Lightworkers. Starseeds. Healers. Teachers. Creators. Wayshowers. People who have always known there was more going on here than the conventional story could explain.

You didn’t come here to survive Earth.

You came carrying something.

You may have forgotten it.

You may have hidden it.

You may have spent decades becoming the person your parents, partners, profession, or culture expected you to become.

But your soul didn’t forget.

You were encoded to be here.

And perhaps the experiences you thought took you away from your purpose were actually training you for it.

I just plain forgot why I came down here.

Maybe you did too.

A few days ago, my friend Jill Hart shared a post that stopped me in my tracks. It included a quote that read:

“It actually doesn’t take much to be considered a difficult woman. That’s why there are so many of us.”

Whether or not those exact words originated with Jane Goodall, the sentiment resonated deeply with me. Jill’s post opened the door to a much bigger conversation—one that highlights a cultural double standard many women recognize all too well:

· A man sets boundaries. He’s strong. A woman sets boundaries. She’s difficult.

· A man is ambitious. He’s driven. A woman is ambitious. She’s intimidating.

· A man speaks with conviction. He’s a leader. A woman speaks with conviction. He’s too much.

What if the difference isn’t in our behavior? What if it’s simply in the story we’ve been taught to tell about it?

When Did Knowing Who You Are Become a Problem?

I’ve been thinking about this question all week. Not because it celebrates being friction-causing, but because it reveals something much deeper about the female experience.

Many women spend decades becoming who everyone else needs them to be. We master the roles perfectly: The good daughter. The good wife. The good mother. The dependable employee. The caretaker. The peacekeeper.

Then, something shifts.

She begins listening to herself. She starts saying “no” without apologizing. She stops shrinking to make other people comfortable. She chooses inner peace over people-pleasing. She trusts her intuition more than someone else’s opinion.

And suddenly… she’s “difficult.”

But maybe she isn’t difficult at all. Maybe she’s finally authentic.

I don’t believe women become more difficult with age, or wisdom, or growth. I believe they become more honest. More discerning. More willing to disappoint others rather than abandon themselves.

That isn’t rebellion. It’s remembrance.

The Permission to Trust Your Inner Wisdom

My grandmother lived in a generation where women who didn’t fit societal expectations were often misunderstood and marginalized. Her story has stayed with me my entire life, serving as a constant reminder of how vital it is that women today give themselves permission to trust their own inner voice.

She built a good life.

She raised the kids. She built the career, or the business, or the family. Sometimes all three. She showed up. She served. She did not complain because there was always someone who had it harder.

I didn’t expect to cry.

Yet halfway through Steven Spielberg’s Disclosure Day, I found myself sitting in a dark theater with tears streaming down my face.

Not because of the special effects.

Not because of the extraterrestrials.

But because, for just a few moments, I was watching a world where the truth was finally allowed to be spoken. For 2 hours and 25 minutes, I wasn’t simply watching another summer science fiction movie. I felt as though I was watching a mirror of our hidden reality.

If you’ve spent years following the disclosure movement, know people who have spoken publicly about UAPs, or have counted real contact experiencers among your friends, this film doesn’t just entertain you.

It reaches into your heart.

It certainly did for me

The Human Cost of Secrecy

The central premise of Disclosure Day revolves around a rogue organization known as the Wardex Corporation, which has concealed humanity’s knowledge of extraterrestrial intelligence for roughly seventy-six years.

Watching that story unfold stirred something far deeper than curiosity. It stirred grief. And anger.

I found myself thinking about the real people behind our own disclosure movement. The military personnel who risked everything to tell the truth. The pilots who reported what they saw only to be ridiculed. The scientists and researchers whose careers were destroyed. The whistleblowers who paid enormous personal prices.

The contact experiencers who have carried extraordinary stories for decades because they knew most people would never believe them.

Behind every cover-up is a human being forced into silence.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of interviewing contactees, researchers, military witnesses, and ordinary people whose lives were forever changed by encounters they could never fully explain.

Some spoke confidently.

Some spoke through tears.

But one feeling surfaced again and again.

Loneliness.

The loneliness of carrying a truth that others simply weren’t ready to hear.

Perhaps that’s why this film affected me so deeply.

It wasn’t simply about extraterrestrials.

It was about the cost of denying truth.

The Moment the World Changed

The emotional climax centers on two contactees, a storytelling choice that felt deeply respectful to real-world experiencers. When Emily Blunt’s character, a local meteorologist, appears on live television and begins communicating with the extraterrestrials, something extraordinary happens.

The illusion of humanity’s isolation disappears almost instantly.

Hearing her speak their rhythmic clicking language sent a literal shiver down my spine. Anyone who has spent time researching close encounters knows that this type of clicking communication has been reported by experiencers for decades.

Spielberg clearly did his homework.

But what overwhelmed me wasn’t the language.

It was the moment the entire world witnessed the truth together.

No debate.

No ridicule.

No dismissing the witnesses.

No more calling people crazy.

Just...truth.

That was the moment I cried.

Even though I knew I was sitting in a movie theater with popcorn in my lap, the emotional release was overwhelming. It felt like witnessing the moment so many people have worked toward, prayed for, and sacrificed to see.

The Empathy Paradox

The film also left me wrestling with one fascinating question.

The extraterrestrials deliver a clear message: Humanity must develop greater empathy. Looking at our wars, our divisions, and our treatment of one another, they see us as spiritually immature.

But as I reflected on that message, another question emerged.

Do they practice what they preach? Their observations often feel detached. Clinical. Almost scientific. It made me wonder...

Is their version of empathy simply the ability to understand our emotions intellectually? Or do they actually feel compassion, the heartfelt desire to ease another being’s suffering? Perhaps the deeper question isn’t whether extraterrestrials possess empathy.

Perhaps the question is whether we do.

How do we treat the people who come forward with experiences that challenge our worldview? Do we listen? Or do we ridicule, shame, dismiss, and attack them?

Maybe disclosure reveals less about extraterrestrials......and far more about ourselves.

The Real Disclosure

As I drove home, one realization stayed with me. Perhaps the greatest disclosure isn’t about extraterrestrials at all. Perhaps it’s about us.

For decades we’ve searched the skies asking, “Are we alone?”

But perhaps the more important question is, “Have we become separated from ourselves?”

After more than forty years helping people navigate life’s greatest transitions, I’ve discovered that transformation rarely begins with learning something new. It begins with remembering. Remembering who we are. Remembering the wisdom we’ve buried beneath fear, conditioning, and self-doubt. Remembering how to trust the quiet voice within.

As I watched the truth unfold across every television screen in the movie, I couldn’t help wondering...

What if each of us experienced that same kind of disclosure within ourselves?

What if the next great revelation isn’t simply that we are not alone in the universe...

What if it’s realizing we’ve never been separate from our own inner knowing?

Perhaps that’s the invitation before us now.

Not only to prepare for disclosure.

But to remember who we truly are.

And perhaps...

that is where every miracle begins.

What surprised me most was that many of them weren’t truly lost.

They simply had no compass.

Imagine setting off on a journey across unfamiliar terrain without a map, a compass, or any sense of direction. You might move quickly. You might stay busy. You might even appear successful. But eventually you would find yourself exhausted, confused, and wondering why life feels harder than it should.

That is exactly where many people find themselves today.

In my recent Awakened Magazine article, *The Great Remembering*, I wrote about the strange sense of disorientation so many people are experiencing right now. The world has changed. Old structures are falling away. Many of the identities, careers, relationships, and beliefs that once gave us stability no longer fit.

What I have discovered is that beneath the confusion is often something much deeper: A forgotten connection to who we truly are.

For those on a spiritual path, I believe we came here with gifts, lessons, and a purpose. We each carry a unique thread in the larger tapestry of human awakening. When we lose connection with that thread, life can begin to feel like wandering in circles.

When we remember, everything begins to change. Your purpose becomes a compass. Your values become an anchor. Your intuition becomes a trusted guide.

You may not know every step ahead, but you begin to recognize the direction.

One of the greatest misunderstandings about purpose is that it is a destination. In truth, purpose is a navigation system. It helps you make decisions. It helps you recognize opportunities. It helps you understand why certain people, challenges, and experiences appear in your life. A compass keeps you from getting lost and fragmented.

From a higher perspective, each person, relationship, job, and obstacle becomes part of a much larger story. When we step into that broader view, life begins to make more sense.

Why so many people feel lost, disconnected, and uncertain about their next chapter.

A few weeks ago I moved into a small house in the desert. It wasn’t the house I expected. Nor was it the grand new beginning I had imagined. In fact, I spent the first few weeks wondering if I had made a mistake.

But something unexpected happened.

The silence began speaking. For the first time in years, I could hear myself again. Not the endless noise of the world. Not social media. Not other people’s opinions.Not the pressure to figure everything out.

This was my own inner knowing.

The voice beneath the noise. The voice that has guided me through some of the most difficult and miraculous chapters of my life.

And it reminded me of something important. Most people are not struggling because they don’t know what to do. They’re struggling because they’ve lost connection with the part of themselves that knows, with that Voice Within.

We Are Living Through a Time of Spiritual Disorientation

Many people can feel it. Life looks fine on the outside. Yet internally there is a strange feeling of drifting. A marriage ends. A career no longer fits. Children leave home. Health changes. Retirement approaches. A dream dies. A new dream begins knocking.

And suddenly the map that guided us for years no longer works. What once felt certain now feels foggy. What once motivated us no longer inspires us.

The result is often confusion, anxiety, frustration, or exhaustion. Not because we are broken. But because the navigation system we’ve been using no longer matches who we’re becoming.

Soul Vision Is Your Internal GPS

I often describe your Soul Vision as the deepest truth of who you are. Your North Star. It is the place where your gifts, purpose, intuition, wisdom, and authentic desires meet.

When we are connected to our Soul Vision:

• Decisions become clearer.

• Opportunities become easier to recognize.

• Synchronicities increase.

• Life feels meaningful.

• We trust ourselves.

We may not know every step ahead, but we know the direction. There is a profound difference. A sailor does not need to see the entire ocean. She simply needs her compass. Soul Vision is that compass.

What Happens When We Lose It?

When people lose connection to their inner compass, something subtle begins to happen. They start looking outside themselves for answers. More experts. More books. More podcasts. More opinions. More information.

Yet information alone rarely creates clarity. In fact, it often creates more confusion. It’s like standing in a crowded train station while a thousand people shout directions at the same time. Eventually you stop moving.

Or you move in circles.

Many women who come to me are not lacking wisdom. Quite the opposite. They are intelligent, capable, accomplished women. What they have lost is access to their own knowing. They have forgotten how to trust themselves.

The Quiet Is Where the Answers Live

One of the reasons I love the desert is that it teaches this lesson so beautifully. The desert never shouts. It whispers. It asks us to slow down enough to hear what has always been there. Our intuition. Our truth. Our soul. The next chapter that is trying to emerge.

You can’t escape yourself in the desert.

In a world obsessed with speed, productivity, and constant stimulation, many people have never been taught how to sit long enough to hear the deeper voice within. Yet every major breakthrough in my own life came from that place. Not from pushing harder. But from listening more deeply.

The Courage to Remember

Perhaps the greatest journey is not becoming someone new. Perhaps it is remembering who you have always been. Remembering your gifts. Remembering your wisdom. Remembering why you came. Remembering the future that is quietly calling you forward.

This is the heart of Soul Vision work. Not fixing. Not forcing. Not becoming. Remembering. And from that remembering, creating a life aligned with who you truly are.

Lately I’ve been reflecting on something I don’t often share.

For the past several years, I was moving through life in a way that felt both adventurous and strangely untethered. When I packed up for my international travels with Portal to Ascension, everything went into storage. I followed so many beautiful callings—speaking on international stages, sharing my art in Greece, leading tours in Egypt... yet underneath it all, I was still listening for where I truly belonged.

And I realized something.

Without a place to fully land, it became harder to hear my own rhythm. I literally stopped hearing myself think.

Maybe you understand this feeling. You might not be wandering geographically, but I know many of us move through seasons of uncertainty, transition, or wondering where our hearts truly feel at home.

Since returning to the desert this past month, something inside me has softened and settled. It’s the dry heat, the intense quiet, the fierce winds, and that vast desert sky that completely opens your sense of awe.

The desert has always been sacred ground for me. Years ago, it was here that I was named, and so much of Joan of Angels emerged. This is where I prayed, listened, painted, healed, and slowly became the woman you’ve come to know.

And now, being back, I find myself remembering me again.

Remembering what it feels like to live inside my own rhythm. My own walls. My own quiet. My own kitchen. My own prayers. No rushing. No adapting to someone else’s energy. Just space to breathe… and listen.

It surprised me how healing this has been.

There’s a quiet frustration I see over and over again.

I’ve been thinking about something since I got back from the Expo.

We spend so much time looking for “the answer” out there—in books, in workshops, in other people’s advice. But when we get back to our everyday lives, the “real world” starts shouting again.

Not meaning to be a drama queen here, but between the economy, the news, the endless to-do list... it creates a kind of static.
When the static is loud, we stop trusting our own signal.

I call this “The Noise Trap.” It’s that moment where you have a clear inner knowing, but then “logic” or “fear” steps in and talks you out of it.

Even if the world outside feels shaky…honestly, you don’t have to be. In 2020 when the world shut down, I had a moment when I didn’t know what to do, how to handle the rapid deterioration of our known reality and how to support my clients. I’m just coming down from the New Living Expo... and honestly? I feel a little like I’ve been dropped back onto Earth after visiting another dimension.

For three days, I was immersed in a world of high-vibration conversations, deep healing, and pure possibility. I was surrounded by people showing up open, curious, and awake.

And then... life resumed.

The grocery lists. The news cycle. The “real world” noise.

In the quiet of this week, I noticed a very specific pattern—something I call the Expansion Hangover. Have you ever felt it?

The real work of our lives doesn’t happen in the “high” of the event or the moment of the breakthrough. It happens right now—in the messy, everyday integration. It happens when we choose to stay expanded even when the world feels a bit shaky.

There’s a moment many people don’t recognize when they’re in it.

When everything looks fine on the outside.

But internally… something feels off.

That’s when you start questioning things you didn’t question before.

And even when you think things through, clarity doesn’t come.

Most people assume this means they need to make a better decision.

But in my experience, that’s rarely the real issue.

What’s actually happening is more subtle—and more important.

And without that connection, something essential is missing.

Because your Soul Vision isn’t just about purpose.

It’s what allows you to recognize what feels aligned.

It’s what lets you feel, “yes, this is right,” even when something is unknown.

Without it, everything becomes noise.

You can have all the information.
All the options.
All the advice.

And still feel completely unclear.

This is why thinking harder doesn’t solve it.

Clarity doesn’t come from forcing answers.

It emerges when internal noise settles—
when you create enough space to hear what’s already there.

And that’s where discernment comes in.

Not as logic.

But as a quiet, steady way of seeing.

The kind that lets you notice:
– what actually resonates
– what feels off
– what belongs to you, and what doesn’t

When someone reconnects to that…

Everything changes.

Not because their life suddenly becomes easy.

But because they’re no longer disconnected from themselves.

They can feel what’s true again.

And from there, choices become clearer.
Direction becomes natural.
Movement becomes possible.

This is the work I care about most.

Not helping people “figure things out.”

But helping them come back into alignment with who they are, what they want, and what’s emerging next.

Because from that place…

You don’t just make decisions.

You begin to build a life that actually fits you.

My father used to say something that fascinated me.

He would say that if 95% of people do something one way, even if it’s wrong, it becomes the “right” way.

Over time, many people stop thinking independently.

Instead of choosing consciously, they follow expectations, pressure, or fear.

And that’s when intuition becomes harder to hear.

But intuition is still there.

It is your inner navigation system.

When you reconnect with it, decisions become clearer, calmer, and more aligned with who you truly are.
