Pro Resolution points, for consideration:

· Ohio has dropped to 38^th for education and 41^st for higher education, while our state has SOFTENED Academic Proficiency Standards for K-12 (according to U.S. News & World Reports);

· Ohio has dropped to roughly 35^th in job creation, while paying vast taxpayer fortunes to places like JobsOhio, who recently received a wildly unnecessary 15 year contract extension – Billions of dollars going nowhere;

· Ohio now unfortunately boasts some of the least safe cities in the country, with the highest rates of violent crime;

· Human trafficking per 100,000 people: 22.70 (per many sources, such as Visual Capitalist);

· Ohio is the 7^th worst state for drug addiction, per The Recovery Village;

· Ohio’s infrastructure is arguably in a state of disrepair worse than most any other state;

· Ohio has one of the most complex taxing systems in the country with one of the highest number of taxing authorities. The state imposes a progressive income tax and base sales tax; over 200 municipalities have authority to levy taxes; over 200 school districts impose income taxes, counties and transit authorities can levy local sales taxes; and other special districts may also arrange for additional taxes, making Ohio overly expensive;

· Defying all logic and an acute lack of jobs, economic development, education, or roads & bridges, Ohio just passed a 100 Billion dollar budget, in spite of all of the above. In 2019 the state budget was $67.9 Billion. Adding nearly 1/3 to our annual budget seems to be making things WORSE rather than better;

· Ohioans are VERY upset by all of the above, evidenced by departures from our “public” schools and current efforts to end property taxes.

The expression “insanity is doing the same things and expecting different results” applies. There are people in and around Columbus who would enjoy keeping the same collection of people in politics for as long as possible. Consider the possibility that they are the problem, not the solution; solutions will only come from new thinking.

Resolution of Censure Against Geauga County Commissioners James Dvorak and Carolyn Brakey

Whereas, the Geauga County Republican Party is committed to upholding conservative principles, including limited government, local control, fiscal responsibility, and the preservation of rural values against urban overreach;

Whereas, the Northeast Ohio Areawide Coordinating Agency (NOACA), a Cleveland-based regional planning organization, has expanded its scope beyond transportation into areas such as climate policy, economic development, and land use planning, which many Geauga County residents view as an infringement on local sovereignty;

Whereas, the Geauga County Planning Commission voted unanimously to send a letter/memorandum to the County Commissioners requesting that Geauga County withdraw from NOACA and related initiatives (including the CEDS process), citing conflicts with Geauga values and overreach by Cleveland-dominated interests; which Commissioners Brakey and Dvorak have ignored by continuing to support and deepen involvement with NOACA (Exhibit A);

Whereas, Commissioners James Dvorak and Carolyn Brakey have actively supported and voted to ratify changes to NOACA’s bylaws and code of regulations, including amendments that guarantee specific seats (such as for the county engineer) and alter representation structures;

Whereas, these bylaw changes were pursued amid controversy and have effectively diminished or removed the voice of sitting Commissioner Ralph Spidalieri by restricting his ability to appoint or maintain his preferred delegate or representative to the NOACA board;

Whereas, Commissioners Dvorak and Brakey voted against granting Commissioner Spidalieri full authority over his delegate or representative, prioritizing NOACA’s preferences and concerns over local Republican unity and representation;

Whereas, it is alleged that Commissioners Brakey and/or Dvorak worked in secret, privately with the NOACA board to remove Commissioner Spidalieri's voice by directly requesting of the NOACA board that bylaw changes be made, without first meeting and discussing the matter publicly with fellow commissioners or in open session as required for transparent governance;

Whereas, this support for NOACA’s expanded influence has opened Geauga County to greater involvement with a metropolitan agency perceived as advancing progressive agendas, contrary to the interests of Geauga County’s conservative electorate;

Whereas, such actions by Commissioners Dvorak and Brakey have sown division within the Geauga County Board of Commissioners, undermined party cohesion, and prioritized external bureaucratic interests over the voices of elected Republican officials and county residents;

Now, therefore, be it resolved by the Geauga County Republican Party Central Committee, in regular session assembled, that Commissioners James Dvorak and Carolyn Brakey are hereby censured for their roles in facilitating Geauga County’s deeper integration with NOACA and for supporting bylaw changes that silenced Commissioner Spidalieri’s input on representation matters.

Be it further resolved that this censure serves as a formal expression of disapproval and a call for Commissioners Dvorak and Brakey to realign their actions with Republican principles of local control and party unity, including reconsidering further entanglements with NOACA that erode Geauga County’s independence.

Be it further resolved that copies of this resolution shall be distributed to Commissioners Dvorak, Brakey, and Spidalieri, as well as to relevant media outlets and party members to ensure transparency and accountability.

Why Censure:

Violation of Transparency and Open Government Principles: By allegedly engaging in private communications to request NOACA bylaw changes without public deliberation, Dvorak and Brakey may have breached Ohio’s Open Meetings Act, undermining the conservative value of accountable, transparent governance that Republicans champion to prevent backroom deals and ensure public trust in elected officials.

Disregard for Local Input and Autonomy: Ignoring the Geauga County Planning Commission’s unanimous request to withdraw from NOACA demonstrates a failure to prioritize local control and community voices, conflicting with Republican emphasis on limited government intervention and deference to grassroots decision-making over regional bureaucratic mandates.

Potential Creation of Conflicts of Interest: Advocating for the appointment of the County Engineer to the NOACA board risks impartiality in funding decisions, as the engineer could influence allocations for Geauga projects they oversee, violating ethical standards and conservative ideals of fiscal responsibility and avoiding self-dealing in public office.

Diminishing Fellow Republican Representation: The bylaw changes effectively reduced Commissioner Ralph Spidalieri’s ability to appoint his preferred alternate, sidelining a conservative voice on the board and fostering internal division, which contradicts Republican values of unity, fair representation, and respecting elected colleagues’ authority in local matters.

Erosion of Integrity and Ethical Standards: Brakey’s public objections to Skip Claypool based on decade-old allegations, combined with the rushed bylaw amendments, suggest personal or political motivations over objective policy-making, eroding the high ethical bar Republicans set for public servants to maintain credibility and combat perceptions of cronyism.

Further, misrepresenting 2014-era efforts on the part of prior commissioners to add a fourth representative from Geauga County to the NOACA board means Brakey is either confused, ill-prepared, or attempting to mislead the public.

Risk to Fiscal Conservatism and Taxpayer Interests: Strengthening ties to NOACA through these changes could expose Geauga County to unwanted regional planning mandates, potentially increasing costs or regulatory burdens without clear benefits, opposing Republican commitments to low taxes, efficient spending, and protecting rural communities from urban overreach.

What’s behind it/what’s at stake?

Urban Densification and Land Use Changes: Strategies include compact development and land use policies to reduce sprawl, potentially eroding Geauga County’s rural character by encouraging higher-density housing or regional planning overrides, conflicting with local zoning autonomy and conservative values of property rights.

Adaptation Measures Implying Overregulation: Building resilience against “extreme weather” through infrastructure upgrades and green infrastructure (e.g., urban forestry) could lead to new zoning rules, building codes, or flood plain restrictions in Geauga, increasing compliance costs for farmers and developers without evidence that local actions meaningfully address natural climate cycles.

Expansion of EV Infrastructure and Low-Carbon Transportation: The plan advocates for EV charging networks, public transit expansion, and shifts away from personal vehicles, including bike lanes and walking paths, which may not suit Geauga’s rural layout, forcing unnecessary infrastructure spending that burdens taxpayers and limits individual freedoms like car ownership in spread-out communities.

Ties to ICLEI and UN Agendas: NOACA’s partnership with ICLEI, a UN-linked organization accused of promoting Marxist wealth redistribution via Agenda 21, taints the plan with foreign influence, prioritizing globalist frameworks over American sovereignty and local control, potentially allowing EPA enforcement that overrides Geauga County’s preferences.

Equity and LIDAC Focus Masking Wealth Transfer: Emphasis on benefiting low-income/disadvantaged communities through targeted funding could result in redistributive policies, shifting resources from Geauga’s taxpayers to urban areas like Cleveland, without clear returns and fostering dependency on federal grants.

High Implementation Costs and Federal Dependency: Reliant on Inflation Reduction Act and Bipartisan Infrastructure Law funds, the plan’s milestones (e.g., solar projects by 2026-27) imply billions in spending, with no detailed cost-benefit analysis, risking debt for Geauga residents and entangling the county in bureaucratic red tape for grants.

“Our Common Purpose” proposes to dismantle and destroy America. The First Iron Rule of Marxism is to accuse others of doing what you are doing, while you’re doing it, to create confusion. While Leftists worked on their agenda to dismantle the West and United States, they accused Trump and pro-American think-tanks of doing exactly that.

RESOLUTION TO PROTECT OHIOANS’ PROPERTY RIGHTS FROM UCC “RE-TITLING/TOKENIZATION” OR CEIZURE MECHANISMS

WHEREAS, the State of Ohio recognizes the fundamental principle that private property rights are essential to individual liberty, economic prosperity, and the rule of law, as enshrined in the Ohio Constitution (Article I, Section 1) and the United States Constitution (Fifth and Fourteenth Amendments); and

WHEREAS, certain provisions of the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) convert tangible and financial assets into digital “security entitlements” held in nominee name by intermediaries such as the DTCC, effectively severing direct ownership ties and enabling automatic transfer during institutional insolvency; and

WHEREAS, the UCC effectively seeks to regulate a broad array of real and electronic assets, such as land, homes, investment securities, farms, agriculture, certain bank accounts and transactions, Controllable Electronic Records (CERs) such as crypto-currency and non-fungible tokens, and more, and

WHEREAS, Article 12 of the UCC, governing Controllable Electronic Records (CERs), has been adopted or proposed in several states to “modernize” digital asset treatment, and

WHEREAS, David Rogers Webb’s book The Great Taking (2023) exposes a systemic legal framework, embedded in revisions to the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) particularly Articles 8 and 9, that has transformed traditional ownership of securities and financial assets from direct property interests into mere “security entitlements.” These entitlements, arising from the dematerialization and immobilization of securities in indirect holding systems, subordinate individual claims to those of secured creditors, central clearing parties, and financial intermediaries during insolvency events, potentially enabling the mass collateralization and seizure of assets including stocks, bonds, bank deposits, and debt-financed real and personal property; and

WHEREAS, Ohio has adopted the UCC as Title 13 of the Ohio Revised Code (ORC Chapters 1301–1310), including the 1994 revisions to Article 8 (ORC Chapter 1308) which define “security entitlements” under ORC § 1308.01 (UCC § 8-102) as contractual rights rather than absolute ownership, and Article 9 (ORC Chapter 1309) which prioritizes secured interests in financial assets during default or bankruptcy under ORC § 1309.328 (UCC § 9-328); and

WHEREAS, recent updates to Ohio’s UCC implementation, including the mandatory electronic filing of UCC-1 financing statements effective as of 2023 (aligned with the 2022 IACA amendments adopted in Ohio), and ongoing enhancements to secured financing protections (e.g., clarifications on electronic transactions and investment securities under ORC § 1301.103), while aimed at efficiency, do not fully address the erosion of individual property rights highlighted in The Great Taking and may inadvertently facilitate the pooling and rehypothecation of client assets as collateral; and

WHEREAS, no proposed amendments to Ohio’s UCC in the 135th or 136th General Assemblies (2023–2026) specifically counteract the risks of security entitlements by restoring direct ownership protections, leaving Ohio residents vulnerable to the “safe harbor” provisions for central clearing parties (e.g., under federal regulations harmonized with UCC Article 8) that prioritize systemic stability over individual recourse; and

WHEREAS, legislative action in other states, such as South Dakota’s 2024 efforts to amend UCC provisions for automatic return of private property in cases of financial institution insolvency, demonstrates a viable model for Ohio to reaffirm property rights without disrupting legitimate commercial practices; and

WHEREAS, the Ohio General Assembly has the authority under ORC § 1.01 to enact laws promoting uniformity in commercial transactions while incorporating state-specific safeguards to protect citizens from overreach in secured transactions;

WHEREAS, this Committee has the authority to adopt policy resolutions binding on Party platforms and legislative advocacy;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Republican Party of Ohio State Central Committee, duly assembled on this ___ day of __________, 2026:

SECTION 1 – LEGISLATIVE DIRECTIVE

The Republican Party of Ohio calls for the immediate defeat of H.B. 195 in its current form and demands the introduction of a “Property Rights Protection Act” containing:

1. A right to opt-out of CER treatment for all natural persons and sole proprietorships.

2. Judicial warrant requirement for repossession of personal property, except in cases of default explicitly consented to in writing with full disclosure.

3. Equal legal standing for physical titles, paper stock certificates, and registered deeds, with no penalty or delay in recording.

4. Prohibition on state recognition of PMSI super-priority claims against individual consumers or small businesses.

SECTION 2 – CONSTITUTIONAL DEFENSE

The Party encourages legal action in the Ohio Supreme Court to declare H.B. 195 unconstitutional under:

• Art. I, § 1 (inalienable property rights)

• Art. I, § 16 (due process)

• Art. II, § 28 (no retroactive impairment)

SECTION 3 – LOCAL SANCTUARY POLICY

The Party urges all 88 county Republican central committees to adopt “Property Rights Sanctuary” resolutions directing:

• County recorders to accept and honor physical titles.

• Sheriffs to refuse enforcement of UCC self-help seizures without judicial warrant.

• The Party urges county officials to certify in writing their compliance and report any federal or state retaliation.

SECTION 4 – PLATFORM AMENDMENT

The 2026 Ohio Republican Platform shall include:

“We oppose any law that converts private property into revocable entitlements or permits seizure without due process. We demand the right to physical title and judicial oversight for all Ohioans.”

SECTION 5 – ENFORCEMENT

1. No Republican legislator shall co-sponsor or vote for any UCC bill lacking the protections in Section 1.

2. Violations shall be reviewed by the Republican Party of Ohio, with recommendations for censure, withdrawal of endorsement, or opposition funding in primary elections.

A note for Christian/Conservative/Right: don’t give up on your countrymen. You also may like this idea.

In the hours and days that followed the death of Charlie Kirk, some people took to social media to, of all things, celebrate his death.

Such behavior is beyond morally reprehensible, and led to swift public backlash. The backlash, in turn, led to many calls for such people - who danced and laughed, advocating for murder - to be removed from positions of trust, such as teacher or school administrator.

The implications of killing people who do not agree with you are so dire as to warrant swift social moral outrage. Believing that people who think differently deserve death promptly destroys all that the United States stands for. There is a reason the First Amendment is first (I’ll save if anyone can be killed for their beliefs, any of us can for another post).

Stories of people losing their jobs and resulting, often tearful, videos of them telling their stories are spreading all over social media. After many years of being Canceled, many on the Right celebrate this role-reversal; however, that’s not truly who the Right are.

The Right side of the political aisle (generally) fundamentally believes in redemption, both here in this life, as well as the afterlife.

Redemption informs our notion that former crooks sometimes make for good law enforcement, ex-convicts can be spectacular employees, cyber-criminals make very good cybersecurity experts, and sometimes people who’ve committed horrible acts can be rejuvenated and may become very good people as a result of making mistakes.

My Proposal

The people who’ve made claims online about Charlie Kirk are, I firmly believe, the victims of propaganda programming. Of course they’ll disagree. They believe that they are informed and that I’ve been lulled into believing in a horrible man.

Give them opportunity to prove out their position.

Create a searchable database of all Charlie Kirk audio and video and invite all the people who’ve posted awful things about his assassination to validate their position.

Here’s what will happen:

They’ll learn that this person, adored by many, isn’t at all what they’ve been told. They’ll explore the sound-bites they’ve been fed in greater detail and learn that the hate they’ve been sold is no longer theirs, or at least that sound-bites were fed to them in order to shape their opinion. Most importantly, they’ll gain an understanding that politicians and “news media” have groomed them with propaganda, which further destroys trust in both.

Imagine all those Canceled people combing through Charlie Kirk videos, looking for that thing that they believe has set them off (“he hates gays and thinks they should be stoned to death”, “he incited violence”, “he’s racist,” or any of the other things they’ve been fed), hoping to vindicate their stance, only to learn about who Charlie Kirk really was, while also coming to the realization that mass media manipulates and lies, and that propaganda exists.

Once they get to ten hours, offer to give them their job back (on probation, of course).

Anticipated results:

1. Further reduction of exposure to legacy media.

2. Many more people leaving the Left/propaganda.

3. Defusing many of those who now feel radicalized because they thing they’ve been Canceled (I’ll save the irony of this for another post, since roughly half of the United States has been severely Canceled by the Left, including myself).

4. They might even begin to apply their new understanding of the impacts of propaganda to others, like Trump and Musk.

Thoughts?

And then his hair dye ran.

That was enough. People became needlessly distracted by the man’s efforts to cover up for thinning hair.

Years earlier, in another example of human inanity, a Republican candidate was tanked by legacy news media because of the appearance of his jeans. Apparently, the jeans weren’t fashionable enough.

Flash forward to 2024 and people were reacting violently to the type of car being driven by political or business figures. Instead of trillions of dollars of alleged taxpayer abuse via non-profits and non-governmental organizations, the focus became the battery powered cars represented by Elon Musk, who’d uncovered the alleged fraud.

The list of such distractions is seemingly endless.

It’s up to us Reasoned, Critical Thinking people to insist upon focus on matters that are important, as difficult as that may be for some.

Once you see the trend, you cannot un-see it: the moment some major issue comes to light or a politician presents themselves as something other than status-quo, media and social media begin to buzz with some inane commentary. I half-jokingly refer to it all as Kardashian’s Lip Gloss (I’ve never been interested in the Kardashian family but recognize that for some years virtually everything they did fascinated society. In this setting, I can easily imagine some major newsworthy event but then all of society shifting focus to talk about a Kardashian’s lip gloss shade).

It’s entirely true that those of us who bother to learn about the issues of the day often struggle to capture the attention of large groups of people. The busyness of life and distractions of more entertaining things can be hard to overcome. When someone like me is ringing an alarm bell - “Hey, everybody, some really bad people have bad plans for your neighborhood, you should know!” can sometimes miss the mark if a local sports team is in a playoff race or some other event is happening.

But sometimes the distraction is so breathtakingly petty and irrelevant as to make one pause and scratch our heads.

In the balance of things, I’d rather care about Election Integrity than Rudy Giuliani’s hair dye. And I’d rather have a good President who wears unfashionable jeans than a bad alternative.

In the latest example of this - admittedly much smaller than the status of U.S. elections or POTUS - we have T-shirts in Geauga County.

If you’re not in Geauga County, don’t tune out just yet, because this sort of thing likely happens near you too. Learn to recognize and counter the pretend-narrative.

We have major issues in Geauga County. There is a lot of money… or, it may be fairer to say that a lot of money moves through Geauga County. Generally, the county is viewed as sleepy, rural, and “conservative Republican”. This has been a recipe for disaster for many decades - big money with scant few competent souls watching over.

A lack of attention based upon the false notion of “conservative Republican” Geauga County has led to mass sums of money evaporating and nearly endless government expansion and bloat (the reasons for this are complex but can be boiled down to one underlying theme: long ago, far-Left Democrats figured out that they couldn’t win in Geauga, so they determined to spend lots of money buying favor with the Republican Party (or individuals within it) in order to obtain an “R” next to their name on a ballot and run as Republicans. This is an open secretin many places. Eventually, this blurring of lines led to there frequently being no clear distinction between candidates; a result we now call the “Uniparty.”)

Yet, a concerted effort is underway to stop Geauga’s slide.

I’ve personally adopted the expression, “Don’t Cuyahoga Our Geauga!” which is a recognition of the levels of corruption that have all but bled neighboring Cuyahoga County dry (Cleveland is in Cuyahoga County, for geographical reference).

In sleepy, rural “conservative Republican” Geauga County all sorts of money-scheme plans are being cooked up to force farmers off their lands, continue to increase local taxes, diminish services, add high-density housing, and otherwise sell off and control people’s lives, all in pursuit of profits.

There are many great examples of Geauga residents rallying to block things they don’t like, such as recent (and current) efforts in Chesterland to block high-density housing that was crafted by developers, presumably in order to make a few people rich and the community miserable. Each and every one of these organized community efforts that thwart bad intentions should be applauded.

But what about politics?

This is where the T-shirts come in.

Retired Lieutenant Colonel Steve Oluic (pronounced O - lew - itch) is running for County Commissioner. His platform is cleaning up some of the horrible messes.

Citing government infighting and squandering of resources as the main reasons for running for election, Oluic will challenge Geauga County Commissioner Jim Dvorak for his seat in the Nov. 3, 2026, general election, according to a May 14 press release. I’ve heard him speak several times and am hopeful. He seems to have the background and wherewithal to take on some of the major issues that hide in plain sight in Geauga.

Good, right? Not so fast…

Geauga’s Left, comprised of all sorts of people clamoring to hold onto status-quo, are not at all interested in Mr. Oluic’s Army Corps of Engineers background, his Doctorate, leadership, or capabilities, they’re fascinated by T-shirts. Not quietly, either. They’re VERY loudly fascinated by (and are now openly lying about) campaign T-shirts, of all things.

Remember, again, that this post isn’t entirely about Geauga County, the upcoming Commissioner’s race, or campaign T-shirts, it’s about recognizing that when status-quo Left have nothing else to talk about, when they feel threatened, they’ll pivot to some sort of trivial nonsense.

I’ll pause here to share some images that were shared with me of Mr. Oluic’s campaign T-shirts.

Pretty standard fair, right? Not so fast. It seems that some knock-off T-shirts were made for a few of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) group that had “B*tch” on them - the letter “i” is replaced with an asterisk.

At a recent kid-friendly event, someone superimposed the notion that the knock-off shirts are the campaign shirts and that children may have been exposed to them. This is untrue and the people who were there have spent weeks refuting and clarifying the issue, to no avail.

Letters to the Editor, ginned up social media outrage over “B*tch” seem to be all anyone can talk about.

Kardashian’s lip gloss… Guiliani’s hair dye… jeans… the car someone drives…

Recently, an alleged $6,000,000 surplus disappeared in Geauga. Poof, it evaporated. And people want to talk about T-shirts.

My tolerance for distracting non-conversation, personally, is something less than zero. No T-shirt slogan is going to reverse the trend of taxing and fee-ing people out of their homes or crushing their liberties and rights.

I join the calls for a debate between Steve Oluic and current incumbent Jim Dvorak. When and if they do, I can assure everyone, I’ll not care one tiny bit what shirts they wear.

Somewhat behind the scenes in Ohio politics - and elsewhere throughout the country - the topic of the Republican Party weighing in, favoring one candidate over another has heated up in the past few weeks. In Ohio, this is primarily due to rumors that the ORP is considering endorsing some Republican candidates over others in the upcoming primary (“mid-term”) elections. If they do so, many consider this to be outside interference, which has consistently and artificially skewed Ohio politics in a particular direction… one that does not appear to take Ohioans interests to heart.

Did you know, several states forbid their Republican Party from creating endorsements in contested primary elections? “Contested” simply means that more than one Republican is running for the position.

Other Ohio counties are now considering the same resolution. Wherever you live, consider your stance on this important issue.

In last night’s discussion, I (Jonathan Broadbent) presented the following arguments FOR the Resolution, as I was presenting it and encouraging a YES vote. These are simply some of my thoughts that fit on one page:

My company wasn’t on Yelp, didn’t rely on Google, and I have no boss, so when I was outed as UnWoke, Cancel Culture Warriors had no avenue to come after me. Weaponized Regulators showed up to harass and Cancel me instead, five years ago.

Over the last five years I’ve met and interviewed people in many walks of life who’ve been Canceled - from a lawyer getting disbarred to a family owned construction company, and even a child psychologist who argued against masking children, then lost her license. I started on a mission to give these people voice because I’m going through it too and because the world should know how and why small business - and especially conservative small business - is almost completely gone from the American landscape… and how we bring it back.

Along the way, on our path to calling out Woke Wall Street and revitalizing America, this unexpectedly happened, but more on this later…

I’m sharing my story for three reasons:

1. If anyone wonders why I’m being so relentless, now you’ll know: I’m outraged. My objective was forced to change from “The Small Business American Dream” to “when weaponized agencies give you lemons, make lemonade.”
   The people we entrust with the very foundations of Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness should never turn against us.

2. Others going through the same thing need to know you’re not alone, there’s hope. Embrace the “make lemonade when life gives you lemons” theme. As cliché as it may sound, keep putting one foot in front of the other. Keep going. Keep getting back up, dusting yourself off, and trying again. Don’t ever give up.

3. In my podcasts I sometimes reference Weaponized Regulators and pressure to close my business. I also dive into the reasons I advocate for PMAs, the need for Free Speech, and for much more public awareness of what Wall Street is funding with our money, along with 3-letter-agencies’ efforts to silence anyone who challenges the objective. Hopefully, this post lends some clarity.

Many people will take to social media/media to talk excitedly about the growth of their business. Few will make posts to talk about how their business is down over 90%. But that’s exactly this post.

How I got here is a long, but suddenly very short, story. I advocated for a return to traditional education and against masking and jab mandates in America’s K-12 schools. Newsmax, Nightline, Epoch Times and others picked up on what I was doing. Around the same time, I started publicly speaking out against “Woke Wall Street”, revealing harmful things being done with investor’s money.

Weaponized Regulators showed up like an angry tsunami in 2020. Suddenly, interacting with them was a wildly different experience than previous years: hostile, accusatory, filled with lying and double-talk; every answer turning into more demands; insanely short deadlines and calendar-killing requirements to drive places in order to spend full days answering questions in-person (when all previous exams had been local or virtual); shouting wild demands and insisting that they have special authority to get me to data-mine clients (I fought them and won on this one).

Flash forward: It’s 2025 and the business that was my pride and joy is now down over 90%, not for reasons you might guess. This happened not by market conditions or competition, but via the crushing death-grip of Weaponized Regulators; quasi governmental agencies that have unchecked power to decide which companies survive and which don’t.

Weaponized Regulators weren’t even very clever about efforts to run me out of business and silence me. In March of 2021, I and two of my friends received nearly identical letters, from completely different regulatory agencies headquartered in our State Capitol of Columbus, Ohio. These letters were sent out within days of each other, with approximately the same wording. All three of us have been thoroughly familiar with the regulatory processes in our fields, yet these three letters were all a drastic departure from our normal communications. The other two people were told that “anonymous complaints” had been filed against them, but they’re not allowed to know the name or identity of their accusers, or whether or not the accuser(s) had ever been a client or co-worker. None of us had ever received a client complaint, then suddenly two had anonymous complaints to try to answer. This unsubstantiated claim of “anonymous complaints” simultaneously made life infinitely harder for my friends and gave special powers to their regulators.

As someone who’s built a business from concept to fruition, I can tell you that few things are as painful as watching your life’s work taken from you; however, I’d not do it any other way. I know too many who sold their proverbial soul and now regret it, empty shells of their former selves. Plus, the friends I’ve made along the way after deciding to fight instead of cave are invaluable, great people and solid friends!

I’m probably meant to be a lesson to others: don’t ask questions or we’ll crush you… but I’m actually an example of the opposite: hopeful & optimistic.

The good news:

I saw this coming and planned for it, so that I may continue to call out Woke Wall Street, alert people to what’s really happening, and build the template Financial PMA.

Through a planned strategy spanning the last several years, we’ve moved nearly all of our clients elsewhere, away from the regulatory compliance environment we now find ourselves in. Unwilling to subject them to attempts to data-mine, unable to keep up with the onerous “compliance” questioning, and out of an interest in maintaining UnWoke.Academy’s crucial voice, we set an objective of getting as close to zero regulated clients as possible. The companies we were designed to serve are no longer clients.

Some continue to use me as an outside consultant, others thanked me for the years of dedicated service and are now on their own. It took years of planning to move all business away from my company and out from under “regulatory” purview.

Now for an entirely new business plan; one that allows for us to continue calling out the Woke on Wall Street.

The final two checks have arrived from our last institutional client at the company I was so proud to build. It was a good run, but Weaponized Regulators crushed us… nearly completely.

Rhetorical question: if you owned a small business and were faced with the prospect of either losing it or giving up your right to express the truth, which would you choose? I made the difficult decision and I’m happy I did.

The letter I received in 2020 was like staring into the headlights of an oncoming locomotive. The next nearly five years were like getting tossed around in a slow-motion wreck.

Prior to questioning things like mandates or Wall Street, I’d always had cordial relations with regulatory agencies. After, it’s the business equivalent of being taken to a “black site” for interrogation; anything goes, there are no rules, and truth doesn’t exist.

Five years of getting yelled at, harassed, lied to… massive demand letters that take months to answer but being given only 30 days, each reply resulting in new waves of additional and expanding requirements, then being told that previous answers were not received. At one point, I discussed one of my responses with a Regulator, while he was holding it, I could see he had a copy of my written response with him, then he accused me of not providing it.

In one conversation someone shouted that I should hire more lawyers to answer the questions. That’s when the lightbulb went on. The process is meant to exhaust people like me mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and financially. Five years of anything-goes interrogation tactics, with the business I built on the line.

Somewhere along the line I resigned myself to the unpleasantness of it, and simply decided to let whatever they throw at me roll off. Then they began to demand that I data-mine my clients and provide them with information they’ve no right to. I answered that they can have whatever they might like to know about me, but fought them on data-mining clients, and I won. Things got even worse after that.

It’s not a surprise, but it is still an absolute gut-punch, to lose your business for no good reason. No one did anything wrong, there were no issues or problems, I simply got on the wrong side of “Wall Street”, teachers unions, and others, and was marked for endless harassment.

To put this into context, know this: while Big-Box Financial has formed close ties with politicians and regulators, creating an impenetrable wall of lawyers, compliance departments, laws & regulations that favor them, my regulator burden grew to roughly 30 hours of annual work for every client we took on. This means a roughly 3-to-1 ratio of hours serving clients and hours answering to regulatory overreach. Even slight, perceived missteps mean catastrophic threat to me, all while Big-Box Financial remains free to do massive harm to markets and investors (which constitutes the need for UnWoke.Academy).

On July 30th, the Geauga Republican Party County Central & Executive Committees met and nearly unanimously passed the above resolution. Here’s what this means for you, and the Republic.

If you’re not familiar with what a Central Committee is, think of it like the Board of Directors of a political party. Here’s an Ohio-specific description, from League of Women Voters:

The first thing to know is that this resolution is an example of what’s supposed to be happening on a fairly regular basis in U.S. politics but isn’t. Our system of government is intended to answer ONLY to the will of the people - this is where “of the people, by the people, and for the people” comes in.

Resolutions are a fundamental way that we communicate TO the party what we expect of them. This means We The People, sending instructions. If there are no Resolutions, elected representatives are left to their own; they can act in a vacuum and pretend like what they’re doing is for the public good (often while hurting us and lining their pockets).

This approach to government - passing Resolutions - is fundamentally and refreshingly different from the two main political parties thinking in terms of top-down dictatorship, while consistently ignoring the will of the people.

When properly functioning, local communities gather to decide what’s important to their constituents. The avenue to do this is via Central Committee meetings (in other states this body of people may go by a different name).

The significant value of this particular “Russian Collusion” Hoax resolution is that it’s fairly non-controversial. Other topics might generate opposition or fail, but this one should appeal to everyone within the Republican Party. It’s Law & Order.

In Geauga County it passed nearly unanimously, with only 4 opposing votes.

Here’s what the template looks like. It’s editable, making it easy to swap for the name of your group:

You’ll find this template available on the Precinct Strategy website under “Connect with Conservatives in the…” There,you’ll find a dedicated chat group to this resolution. You may also contact me directly or comment that you’d like an editable copy (this platform does not allow for document sharing).

“What’s the point? Will this actually make a difference?” You may ask. Good question. My answer is simple, comparing two extremes: if mine is the only county to pass this resolution, probably not. If every county in the U.S. passed it, absolutely. DC would drop everything to address it immediately. I certainly don’t hope for 100% adoption, but do believe that 30 or more counties will make both state and federal representatives act upon the instruction.

Right now over 100 counties in the U.S. are considering this resolution. As well, many people are using it as a “flushing tool” to out the non-conservative, status-quo types within the party.

What’s next?

Once the resolution passes, I suggest using the following template Press Release to get word out that you’ve done so. It sends the message that your club/group cares and is responsive.

If you’re on Central Committee somewhere, consider creating and publishing a list like the one below (and maybe include vote tallies on important issues). If you’re not on Central Committee, I encourage you to get involved to build yours, wherever you live, into a stronger and better Representative Government… it’s the only way that We The People win.

Frustrated that your “representative government” is doing a horrible job of representing you?

Here’s a suggestion: tune out D.C. and Statehouse politics for a few months and check on local politics, you’ll be surprised at how much importance you find. All sorts of things happen in your local politics (or should be happening) that are probably off-radar for you. Plus, local is where you can have a big and almost immediate impact.

It’s said that Central Committee is the most powerful position in all of politics. In my studied opinion, this is true. Think of it like your local Board for the Republican Party.

The above list represents recent attendance and involvement of the Geauga County (Ohio) Republican Party Central Committee. Think of this group like the Board, it’s the people who make decisions about how the party and the county operate and function. We help decide how and who fills various county positions, among other responsibilities. We can block or encourage things, pressure government for investigations, and do virtually anything the public might want. We also have a very large impact on people seeking elected office, via endorsement of candidates. This power structure very likely holds true wherever you live - there are around 400,000 such seats available throughout the United States. Sadly, only about half of those seats are filled. In Geauga, we’re lucky to have roughly every seat filled, sort of…

In the past, Geauga’s meetings were somewhat rare, they were closed to the public (which some of us argued was not a good policy). In the meetings that did occur, opportunities to speak or act were virtually nonexistent. Members weren’t showing up out of sheer frustration (more on this below).

Recent changes, however, dating back to mid-2024 have changed things considerably. Meetings opened to the public, voting is much less likely to be done in secret, and the floor is routinely opened for discussion. Which leads me to the purpose of today’s post: no-shows hurt.

Votes on current, local issues sometimes come down to one or two votes. Knowing that there are bad actors within the Republican Party, whose self-interests or desire for status-quo might at any time override the interests of the people, the mission is always to get as many good, caring people into each and every meeting as possible. In today’s era of citizens’ push for leaner and more transparent government, every meeting becomes critical.

Very much like Washington D.C., you should be paying close attention to your local Central Committee. Advocate for the things you care about, watch attendance, read the published Minutes, and ask for vote tallies if they’re not included in the Minutes.

If you don’t advocate for yourself, who will? (And, if the people who are supposed to be your advocates aren’t doing so, who fills that power vacuum?)

I encourage all elected representatives everywhere to pause for a moment and think clearly, “What do my constituents want?” If you’re not asking that question, you’re not really a Representative, and you, unfortunately, become part of the reason people feel that Representative Government is lacking and that their voice isn’t heard. Yes, of course some of us are going to miss meetings, some of the time; however, roughly 50% vacant seats, nationally, and ongoing under-attended meetings frequently leave “regional government”, state government, or federal government to fill that void.

The conservative people of Geauga, I’ll argue, have been on the losing end of voting history for over a decade. In increments, for many years, their voices have faded to mere whispers, most often now ignored. We either fix this or it continues (or gets worse). This is true all over Ohio and the country.

For the above chart I went back only to October for a reason. Prior to October, our meetings were closed from public view and votes hidden. We had no subcommittees (that I was able to find), no way to get involved, and there was scarce little opportunity to speak at our infrequent meetings. This led to a great deal of frustration and hopelessness.

Thankfully, that disfunction is in the past. It took great effort, courage, and years of planning, but the change has been made. HINT: wherever you live, you too can accomplish the same thing. Get organized and united, locally, where you live, to re-institute Representative Government. There’s even a website for this, it’s called “Precinct Strategy”.

For my part, I know that each and every vote on any given issue can go one of two ways, toward the best interests of the people or toward status quo.

Conservative Geauga has lacked conservative, representative voices in local government, due to disfunction and confusion. The only way this gets fixed - the only way Geauga can tackle the waste, fraud, abuse, skyrocketing taxes, and champion the local mantra “don’t Cuyahoga our Geauga!” - is if we insist upon representative government.

“What an amazing time to be alive!” You’ll hear that sentiment often, if you’re on social media or talk to patriot groups. It’s connected to “WINNING!” Trump’s election, DOGE, getting certain cabinet appointments… “WINNING!” get’s posted and shared. It’s a great feeling and a great sentiment.

Pause for a moment to consider what “WINNING!” you want and how long you want it to last.

Closed borders? Quality education for children? Better, more reliable elections systems? A fair, balanced, and blind judicial system? Free Speech? Second Amendment? Deportations of illegals?

I truly hope that our populist movement succeeds and we U.S. citizens see a return of Representative Government, focused exclusively on the health and wellbeing of U.S. citizens. It won’t be easy, but it must be done. (More comments on this below the divider.)

There’s a concept for tackling debt called “snowball effect.” Put simply, it suggests tackling the smallest things first, then moving to the next largest, until you ultimately take on the big issues. This financial philosophy says that if you have debt in 10 different places, focus on the smallest first, cancel it, then focus your money/effort on the next largest. Like putting a snowball on the top of a hill and giving it a push, the theory suggests that you’ll make more progress faster if you eliminate one-by-one, starting with the smallest and easiest. In addition to being the easiest, the WINS will quickly give you a feeling of accomplishment.

When it comes to all the issues now threatening the American Dream, I believe a similar snowball effect is in order.

It’s why I started and freely share UnWoke.Academy.

Begin by looking at how your life is structured and “Vote Your Values”, as we like to say. Heck, you don’t even need to leave your house for this part. Begin by looking at the things you encourage, support, or fund. Like Disney, Google, CNN, Mega-Bank, Big-Pharma, Netflix, Amazon, and “Wall Street”, just to name a few. If you haven’t left them for better alternatives, consider doing so. The more rich and powerful they become, the harder it is to defeat them and save the Republic.

You should also be very aware of the massive CRT/DEI programs embedded in Ohio State University and many places like it, that openly espouse Marxist, racist, anti-American values.

CRT is only one example. There’s also the destruction of small business, Green New Deal (now repackaged as Climate Agenda), and all sorts of other woke-a-doodle bad stuff percolating in order to take away our rights and freedoms and make a small group of elites more money.

Many people are building, posting, and commenting on alternatives. They’re hungry to get your attention and all of them need traffic/funding in order to continue to build the Parallel Economy (“Freedom Economy”) we keep excitedly talking about.

The same holds true for news, social media, education, and virtually all other aspects of our lives.

These are easy WINS. Or, at least most of them should be. We’ve covered several tech companies, banking, and all sorts of other realms that are important to our day-to-day lives. Now it’s up to We The People to go utilize these things.

If you build it, they will come!

From Public Square to Old Glory Bank (we have no affiliation with either), and now all sorts of tech offerings and news outlets, they’re waiting for you/us.

If you agree, and want WINNING! then I hope that wherever you are, you’ll start small and maybe use the snowball effect to begin migrating away from woke-a-doodle (probably cancelable) and into the Parallel Economy. Get in at the ground floor, now, so that later you can say you were with [fill in the blank] before it was cool.

It’s exciting to hear about all the efforts being made in/around DC politics; however, none of it is permanent, yet. If we want to see these things, like education reform and DOGE made permanent, and not suddenly evaporate in 4 years, we must act now to cement this populist movement.

My suggestions:

1. Find and run good, Education-aware school board candidates.

2. Precinct Strategy (PrecinctStrategy.com or, in Ohio: OhioPrecinctStrategy.org).

3. Attend local government and NGO board meetings. You’ll learn a lot and this will inform you to fight back.

4. Connected to 1, 2, and 3 above, form a local advocacy group.

It’s the stock bubble created by globalist banks, Wall Street, and politicians colluding to get as much money as possible into as few companies as possible. This means most everyone’s 401(k), IRA, 403(b), pensions, union investments, mutual funds, annuities… virtually everything that has the appearance of being properly diversified, isn’t. Moves into “indexing” haven’t helped. Did you know, today roughly 40% of the S&P 500 is made up of just 5 companies. Much like Healthcare steered the world into the jab, Finance has spent many years consolidating investments into just a few companies, not just in the U.S., (robbing small business enterprise by choking off capital and inflating a few uber-wealthy stocks beyond reason).

I’ve spent years talking to hundreds of investment managers, most of whom are happy to simply offer whatever attracts the most investment dollars or leads to the lest pressure from 3-letter agencies to run. They then arranged to put most everyone’s money into it. (Note: roughly none of the money appears to be actually going toward whatever mission it pretends to champion, and some of it appears to actually be exacerbating the very issues.)
