You might be wondering, why exactly should I come to God with my problems when He already knows my problems? When He already knows what I’m going to say?

But you know the truth? God doesn’t just want to meet our needs. Yes, He has the capacity to do so. He has the capacity to meet our needs even before we realize that we need those things. He has the capacity to give us answers even before we ask.

But He wants a relationship with us.

One of the main reasons why He created us was to give Him pleasure. And we give God pleasure when we relate with Him, when we fellowship with Him, when we commune with Him.

So, let’s come to that point where we don’t just come to God because He will meet our needs, or because He specializes in meeting needs, but we come to God because we genuinely want to fellowship with Him.

God wants to know how your day went. God wants to know what’s bothering you. God wants to know every single thing about you. He wants to relate with you as a father relates with his child. He wants to relate with you as a best friend relates with a best friend.

You can talk to Him about the things that may seem insignificant. Talk to Him about your day. Your worries. Your excitement. Your friendships. Your disappointments. Your plans. The person you like. Talk to Him about the things that make you happy and the things that make you sad.

Nothing is too insignificant to bring before God, and nothing is too "serious" to talk to Him about. He wants to be involved in the details of your life.

Quit that mindset of seeing God as Jireh or King alone. He is your Father, and He wants to relate with you as a Father relates with His child.

When you come into the presence of the Lord, come to Him as a friend. Don't assume that He knows and wouldn't want to hear it again, He loves you so much and enjoys your presence just the same way you enjoy His.

He already knows, but He still wants you to talk to Him.

That is what relationship looks like.

We hear these lies from the devil, believe them, and, in turn, allow them to shape our view and knowledge of Christ.

This is because you cannot worship God rightly if you do not have a right view of who He is.

Know God for yourself.

You shouldn't eat from every house, lest you eat poison in the long run.

You shouldn't drink from every well, lest you become full of contaminated water.

This is not about food or water.

You are fully responsible for what you allow to shape you. What you constantly listen to, read, watch and submit yourself to will eventually influence the way you think and, ultimately, what you believe.

Take up the hard work of studying the Word for yourself. Do not simply believe something because someone you respect said it. Go back to the Scriptures. Search it out. Examine it. Let the Word of God be your standard.

This is one of the surest ways to keep yourself from being tossed around by every wind of doctrine. You should not be easily moved by every new teaching, every popular preacher, or every convincing argument that comes your way.

Know your teachers and stick to them. They do not have to be many, and they do not have to be popular. You don't have to listen to everyone simply because they are popular. Be deliberate about who you allow to teach you.

And it is okay to admit when you do not know. Ask questions. Seek answers. Don't bottle up ignorance simply because you are afraid to admit that you don't understand something. There is nothing shameful about not knowing, it only becomes dangerous when you refuse to learn.

It is even beautiful that we live in a time where information and resources on virtually every subject are accessible. We have books, messages, sermons, teachings and even people. Make use of them. There is so much available to help us grow in knowledge.

Lastly, freely share the Truth wherever you find yourself.

Don't keep the Truth to yourself when there are people around you who genuinely don't know better. Join hands with fellow believers to spread the Gospel and help save ignorant men from false teachings.

We have a responsibility, not just to guard what we believe, but also to help others come to the knowledge of the Truth.

Go back to the things He told you when you were in a different season. Go back to the promises He made to you. Go back to the instructions He gave you. Sometimes, the strength you are looking for is hidden in something God already told you.

God doesn't always say something new because He doesn't need to. He has already spoken. The problem is not that God has stopped speaking, sometimes, we have stopped paying attention to what He has already said.

Believers go through down times. We go through seasons where we have no strength, where we feel overwhelmed, where we are tired, and that is not a bad thing. We are human beings. There are moments when we simply get tired.

The Bible says, "They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength." And I think that one of the things we must learn to do in our waiting is to remember.

Go back to your journals. Go back to the Scriptures. Go back to the promises. Go back to the things God said to you in your secret place. Go back to the instructions He gave you that you may have neglected.

Because there are moments when what you need is not another instruction. You need to obey the last one.

What you need may not be another confirmation. You may need to remember the confirmation you already received.

And in doing this, you begin to realise that hope has not been lost. God has not changed. His faithfulness has not changed simply because your current season looks different from what He promised you.

And for those of you who don't journal, for those who don't have a written record of the things the Lord has said to you, let this be a reminder, be a good student of your destiny.

Write things down.

Write down what you learn from Scripture. Write down the things God teaches you. Write down the instructions He gives you. Write down the things He puts in your heart in prayer.

Because there will be seasons when your emotions will make you forget what you once knew. There will be seasons when the reality around you will make you question what God told you. And in those moments, you need something you can go back to and say, "No. God said this."

Years from now, you will look back at those pages and realise that they were more than just notes. They were a record of God's dealings with you. A track record of His faithfulness. A reminder of how far He has brought you.

So, when we are down, it is not always a call to hear something new from God. It is also a call to return.

Return to the basics. Return to the instructions you have neglected. Return to what God has already said.

Because silence does not always mean that God has stopped speaking. Sometimes, He is inviting you to remember.

And the word you need for this season may be a word He gave you in the last one.

God has been faithful. He is still faithful. When you go back, you realise He has been speaking all along.

And the most beautiful part is that those words are always accompanied with strength and grace to keep you going.

Yes, there's a place where the Holy Spirit has worked on your heart so much that you just feel like doing what pleases Him. In that case, your feelings are flowing from His leading and not necessarily replacing it.

But let's be very careful not to substitute our human and fleshly will for that of the Holy Spirit.

No matter how spiritual you might be, the flesh always wants to pop its head out and take control.

It starts with very little and seemingly baseless things... like being too excited, too overwhelmed, too emotional, or even too hungry.
Those moments may seem harmless, but if they're not surrendered to God, the flesh can use them as an entrance.

As you begin to feed those feelings without discernment, you gradually give the flesh room to lead. Before you know it, you're making decisions that might not necessarily be sinful, but are beyond what God is asking of you in that moment.

There's always an ongoing conflict between the leading of the Holy Spirit and the influence of the spirit of the world.

Do not get to the point where you assume that only the Holy Spirit can influence a believer. If you're not watchful, the spirit of this world can find expression too. This is why discernment is so important. Not every strong feeling, good intention, or inner conviction is necessarily from God.

At every point in time, test every spirit and continually renew yourself with the Word of God. The Holy Spirit will never contradict the Word, and the Word will always help you discern His voice.
Also, check the motive behind every action you take. Ask yourself whether it stems from self-ambition or from a desire to advance God's Kingdom.

That alone can help keep you on track.

For the flesh to be subdued, it must be starved, and for the spirit to remain strong, it must be fed.

Now is the time to do the needful. Go back to the basics... read your Bible, pray, fast, reduce your screen time, evangelise and be intentional about what goes into you. The more you feed your spirit, the more familiar you'll become with the voice of the Holy Spirit.

Starve the flesh; feed the Spirit.

At first, it sounded funny. But then, it became alarming.

Why? Because this is something believers have often been begged to do, yet many of us complain that we're too shy or that our "steeze" will drop if we preach publicly.
Now, we're hearing that doing so could cost as much as ₦50,000.

Whether or not this claim is true, one thing remains certain: the gospel is not scarce—it is everywhere, but the cost of standing for it is becoming more evident.

Be voracious about the truth you know.
Preach the Word.
Preach the Word in season and out of season.

Many people don't know the truth, and that's why we keep hearing contradictory messages everywhere. You who have received the Word and carry the Spirit, please don't keep quiet about it.

If we can't preach in buses, we can walk the streets. We can use our phones. We can go to hospitals. We can go to schools. We can do it in our classes and workplaces. By every means possible, don't join hands with the enemy by allowing your voice to be silenced.

There is an ongoing war that will not end anytime soon.
We have the responsibility of keeping the Word of God alive in the hearts of men.

It was handed down to us by faithful men and women of God. Now it's our turn.
Don't let the gospel die inside of you.

Yes, this and many more are things believers go through. Some have spoken about it, while others silently battle with it. But whether spoken about or hidden, it is a struggle many of us face.

The truth is, it is actually good that we feel this way when we realize we have done wrong. It shows that our hearts are not hardened and that we recognize the weight of our actions.

However, it should not end there. The devil can take advantage of that guilt and shame, using it to make us run farther from God and keep us trapped in condemnation.

We are humans, and when the realization that we have done something wrong to someone else hits us, guilt naturally comes. That guilt can make us hide from that person until we gather the courage to apologize.

This is the normal human response, right?

But with our relationship with God, it should be different.

Not because we should be proud to come before Him after doing wrong. Not because we feel entitled to forgiveness. Not because we have become so familiar with Him that we take His grace for granted. No!

Through salvation, many possibilities have been unlocked for us, and one of them is grace.

God’s grace covers our inadequacies - the guilt, the shame, the struggles and everything that reminds us of our weakness.

However, grace is not a license to remain in sin. Rather, God’s grace is like a ladder that helps us rise above the very things salvation delivered us from.

The reason sin and guilt push us away from God is because we focus more on our failure and the offense we committed than on His grace and mercy.

Another reason is that we do not spend enough time in Scripture to truly believe what God has said.

Everything written in the Bible was given for our learning, so that through patience and God’s help, we may understand the things that have been freely given to us.

Today is a good day to come boldly to God’s throne of grace. Tell Him the truth about your struggles, confess your wrongs and receive His mercy and grace.

But remember, we must come with a truly repentant heart. He hears, He forgives and He restores.

If we claim we have no sin, we are only fooling ourselves and not living in the truth.But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness. (1 John 1:8-9 NLT)

I didn't pay much attention to them until I paused. Then I counted and realised that someone had posted four different fliers, two of which were happening on the same day and just a few hours apart, and he would be in attendance at both.

Is it bad? Not exactly.

But then I realised something that might help us.

You see, we're not in the dark when it comes to matters relating to spiritual growth. We have all the materials, programs on virtually every topic imaginable, accessible fellowship with brethren, and so much more.

But if you keep consuming everything that comes your way, you might end up knowing so many things and still miss out on the most important thing.

Not every increase in size is growth. Even cancer cells increase in mass.

You must not attend every program, read every book, or visit every church. It doesn't make you proud, it only makes you a man or woman who knows where they're headed and understands the right nutrients to take in.

So many of us are caught up in the euphoria of doing what everyone else is doing, to the detriment of what God actually wants us to do.

The goal is not to be seen everywhere; the goal is to be where God wants you to be, because every allocation you'll ever receive from the Lord will meet you at the place where you're meant to be at that particular time.

Stop trying to be everywhere and ask the Lord to plant your feet where He wants you to be.

Yes, where God has led you may not be the fancy or popular place. It might be a place only you attend and you may even feel like you're wrong.

But many times, following God's will means killing the urge for men's validation within you.

By all means, know what God demands of you at every point in time and don't be gullible enough to be pushed about by every wind of doctrine. You'll never truly grow; you'll only increase in knowledge while remaining deficient in the one thing you're actually meant to know.

Remember:

"All things are lawful for me, but not all things are helpful; all things are lawful for me, but not all things edify." - I Corinthians 10:23

This isn't just about church programs; it should become your everyday lifestyle.

Opportunities come to test preparedness, not to give extra time.

Why not invest your time in growth and in building deep foundations rather than merely seeking to be known or seen? As good as visibility may be, the best way to make a lasting impact is by building roots.

And one of the greatest ways to build roots is through service.

Whoever desires to lead must first embrace the heart of servanthood. The Kingdom of God works in such a way that to become the head, you must first learn to serve.

Service to God, in whatever sphere He places you, brings out the purest form of who you can become.

It is one of God's fastest ways of building and shaping a man.

Please, do not let pride rob you of what God intends to build through you.

Serve God in every way possible. Stop complaining that things are not going well in your local church when you can rise and take responsibility.

You are not too big for any assignment. The moment you begin to think you have outgrown certain aspects of God's work is an indication that you need to ask the Lord for a heart of servanthood.

You are first a servant of God before He entrusts greater things into your hands.

Do not allow pride to rob you of that opportunity.

Serve while it is day, for a time may come when the opportunities you have today will no longer be available. What God places before you now may not be yours to steward tomorrow.

Don't wait until tomorrow to become available to God. The time to yield, to serve and be built is NOW!

You can dare to trust God; that's the only daring thing that never fails or goes wrong. Do you know why? Because He is more than capable of taking care of you. If He can do so for the lilies and the birds, how much more man, whom He is so mindful of?

Anxiety never solves any problem; rather, it cuts short the manifestation of God's goodness in a person's life. Anxiety leads to unbelief, and unbelief eventually leads to sin.

It almost seems impossible not to be anxious because we are humans, and even when we convince ourselves that we're not worried, anxiety slowly creeps in.

One way to know that anxiety has taken the wheel is the haste with which you try to get things sorted out. Anxiety robs you of peace and leaves you with the impression that everything must be done in a rush.

Live each day one at a time. Why be troubled about next week when you do not even have the power to keep yourself alive until then?

Dare to trust in God's sufficiency. It has remained constant from time immemorial, and it never changes.

“So don’t worry about these things, saying, ‘What will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear?’ These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heavenly Father already knows all your needs. Matthew 6:31-32

Enjoy God's Enabling Grace!

By God's grace and help, please take these seriously this month:

• Pray every single day. Not a day in this month should go by without communicating with God.

Don't just come to tell Him all your needs; also sit quietly and listen to Him. There is so much He would love to tell you. Don't be in a hurry.

• Read your Bible every single day. Devote at least an hour each day to studying the Scriptures. Pick a book of the Bible and study it throughout the month. Don't just read many chapters - which is good - but also study deeply and intentionally.

• Fast at least four times this month.

• Set aside time to be alone with God at least twice this month. Stay away from distractions and focus on prayer, fasting, and Bible study.

• Pick up a spiritual book and read. Not the Bible, but a good Christian book.

• Ensure that every day of this month, someone hears about Jesus through you - whether through one-on-one evangelism, your social media posts, or your lifestyle.

• Devote yourself to praying for others - friends, family members, and even strangers. Your prayers should not be centered on yourself alone.

• Give! Give to God, give to His work, and give to people. Give your money, resources, and even your time.

• Do not neglect the gathering of believers. Don't isolate yourself this month.

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might.

Trust in the enabling grace of God to hold your hand throughout this month as you devote yourself to His service.

I want to encourage you to remain steadfast in your pursuit to know God. Lots of distractions will come your way, but keep your focus fixed on Jesus.

Understand that you've been called to give God pleasure, and that includes making Him alone seen, which might cost your ego being bruised, your pride gone, and even your quest to be seen and known as a great man dead.

The end goal of everything we do is that Jesus will be seen in us.

Are your actions pushing men to see God, or do they just admire your skills and gifts?

It's okay to feel overwhelmed, tired, and sometimes even alone, but let all those things make you depend on God even more.

Have the confidence that God is with you, even in the midst of the tempest and every boisterous wind.

God loves you, and He has chosen and anointed you.

All His promises might not be visible right now, but please keep waiting on Him.

It's not that easy, but you can do it.

There's grace for you.

That grace didn't just save you and make you a part of Him, it's also there to enable you and help you when the going gets hard.

Please don't forget that the response to God's grace is to labour and not just sit idle.

Can I talk about the consecrations that God has given to you?

Yeah, they look hard because they're personal to you alone, and sometimes there's no one to do them with.

Those consecrations will shape you into the unique person you're called to be, so please keep to them.

Stop giving excuses.

Fast when you're asked to, pray at the time you're meant to, invest in reading spiritual books, invest in evangelism, and study your Bible.

Should I talk about your secret place?

It's very possible to pray in tongues and shake everywhere when you're in the midst of brethren, and no one will even know that you're beefing God in the secret place.

We're youths and have a lot of activities. This age comes with a lot.

But you know you cannot, should not, and must never be too busy for God.

Who you are in the secret reflects the kind of impact you'll have publicly.

Don't let the fire go out.

Flee youthful lusts. Please, run away from sin, especially sexual sins. They defile you.

Sex is good and God-made, but only within the confines of marriage.

Don't be in compromising situations with the opposite gender.

Guard what you watch, where you go, and what you listen to.

Be sensitive about what you let into you; the output can defile you.

You don't have to be everywhere. Not even every Christian gathering is meant for you. Be discerning enough to know where God wants you to be at every point in time.

Honour men of God who are genuine and speak the truth.

God hates pride, and we still have a lot to learn from genuine fathers.

Don't let the quest to be seen make you drink from a contaminated well.

Know your teachers and stick with them, even when they are not popular.

Serve in your local church. Serve. There's no shame in that.

If you're not faithful in little, how will much be added to you?

Be big on prayer, Bible study, fasting, reading Christian books (the ones you need), and fellowship with brethren. Invest in growth, and grow the right way.

You'll be glad you did 10 years down the line.

Resist the urge to give yourself a title that God hasn't given you. Remain in service, remain at His feet, and stick to the instructions God has given to you until He gives you a name.

Don't be pressured into being like your friends. We're encouraged to be motivated by others and not compare ourselves with them. You're on your own lane with God, and nothing should make you run outside of it.

Make good use of brethren and invest in relationships.

Let your life make an impact in the lives of the people who come across you, while also remaining humble enough to receive and learn from others.

You can't fulfil destiny alone, so please don't isolate yourself.

Dear young believer, let the goal be to hear, “Well done, good and faithful servant.”

God will help us.

He will teach us to worship Him and worship rightly.

He will take away the “I'm too busy” mentality from us.

Please take a moment to pray for any young believer you can think of, myself included.

I'm rooting for you.

What a beautiful attribute of God that we all enjoy.

But beyond that, there is a question we must ask ourselves:

God sees you... but have you seen Him?

Someone asked this question in the Bible. Come with me and see.

“Thereafter, Hagar used another name to refer to the Lord who had spoken to her. She said, ‘You are the God who sees me.’ She also said, ‘Have I truly seen the One who sees me?’” - Genesis 16:13 (NLT)

God can be around us, speak to us like He spoke to Hagar, meet our needs, and yet we still do not truly see Him.

Seeing, in this context, goes beyond physical sight.

It speaks of consciousness, revelation and an acknowledgement of His presence within the heart.

No one sees God absent-mindedly. To see Him, you must seek Him intentionally and with your whole heart.

Also, God must reveal Himself to you. This means you cannot truly find Him outside of Him. Nothing can substitute for His presence.

The reason many of us are still trapped in certain sins and struggles is because we have not truly seen Jesus.

You must come to the realization that it is not enough for God to see you - you must also see Him.

To see God, you must seek Him wholeheartedly. Yearn for Him. Study His Word. Ask Him to shine His light upon your life.

He is the Fountain of Life, and only in His light will we see light.

Only in Him will we truly see Him.

We all come to that point where we're on fire. Spiritually, we're active, but it only lasts for a few days or months at most, and we're back to feeling empty.

The Holy Spirit didn't leave, nor did He stop helping you. Something else happened.

You just weren't disciplined enough to walk with grace to sustain your fire.

Walk with me.

The revival of your spiritual life is not an avenue to promote laziness.

The fact that grace carried you for days and everything worked with ease only means that you have the potential to do those things - and not just for you to be lax.

You need God's help to be stable and grow spiritually. Yes, you do.

But do you know what you need more? Diligence and Discipline.

It is the discipline to minister to the Lord in prayer, Bible study, evangelism, fasting, and fellowship with one another that shows the Lord that you value Him, want to know Him better, and want to please Him too.

In a nutshell, put in effort.

Don't be all relaxed and wait for grace from the Holy Spirit to spur you up.

What if you don't feel like praying, will you still talk to God?

What if you never feel like reading your Bible, will you still do it?

What if you always feel hungry, will you still fast and pray?

Our actions towards the Lord are proof of our love for Him, and not just in our words.

Our actions towards spiritual exercises shouldn't only happen when we feel like it.

Let love for God and hunger push you to do them. The Holy Spirit is there to give life, but He wants to know that you're willing.

"But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him." - Hebrews 11:6

It is your belief in God that will make you stay devoted to Him even when you don't feel like it.

And you know, God helps those who are weak but still show up, and He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

His reward is not just material - He can reward you with Himself; His presence, which is everything.

Go to God today.

Go back to those things He instructed you to do that you haven't done.

You do not have a high priest who has not passed through your situation and despite that, He did not fail or sin.

There is grace, not just to fire you up, but to pick you up when you've fallen out of fire.

Not self-love, not siblings’ love, not family love, not even loving one another, but love for God.

The day you stop loving God or love Him less, the fruits of the Holy Spirit become lesser things; you won't live out the fruits of the Spirit because they all come from love, and love for God first.

Every of our actions stems from loving God and loving Him the right way.

You love God first by surrendering all of yourself to Him as a living sacrifice; that's when your giving and service to Him become noticed and accepted.

You love God by having time for Him.

Even in our contemporary relationships, the proof that you love someone is how much of your time - not just time, but time and attention - you give to that person.

You love God by studying your Scriptures and keeping all of the instructions written there, whether they suit your ego or not.

You love God by showing Him to others through evangelism. If you hate evangelism, you don't love God enough.

The truth is that it takes grace to love God and love Him as He wants to be loved.

But do you know? It was His love that made Him stay on the cross, not just to set you free from bondage, but also to give you the grace to love Him as He wants to be loved by you.

Today, I'm asking a simple question: What's taking your love for God away from you, even unknowingly?

Is it your romantic relationship? Academics? Work? Money? Lust? God's work? Anger? Titles and positions? Family? Friends?

Search inwardly and you'll know the answer. You can't lie to yourself.

Love God first, and you'll do His work better.

Love God first, and you'll love yourself and others better.

Love God first, and service to Him becomes easier and more acceptable to Him.

Love God first, and your worship to Him changes to His own way.

“And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.” This is the first commandment. - (Mark 12:30)

Prayer for the week:

Dear Lord, we acknowledge that You love us so much and gave Yourself for us; that's the greatest kind of love.

Please teach us to love You as You want to be loved, and not just how our human selves think to love.

We submit ourselves to You as a living sacrifice. Do to us what You want, to the end that we become better and more like You.

“Troubles multiply for those who chase after other gods.” - Psalm 16:4

All through Scripture, idolatry is often described as loving something more than God Himself.

Chasing after other gods doesn’t only mean bowing to idols; it also means giving your heart and attention to anything that is not God - academics, relationships, career, family, phones… the list goes on.

How can you check if something is slowly taking God’s place in your life?

When you’re busy with everything else but neglect prayer and studying the Word

When you spend so much time on entertainment that you forget to pray

When your thoughts are consumed with how people see you rather than what God is saying.

I could go on with many relatable examples, but the point is this: Jesus wants you - nothing more, nothing less.

He is interested in you before what you can do for Him.

In our walk with God, we may begin to notice that other things try to take His place. Sometimes, it’s even zeal for His work - and it shouldn’t be.

There are consequences when we allow anything to replace God in our lives. One major repercussion is this: we lose that which matters most - His presence.

God desires to bring us to a place where He alone matters above all else. But the truth is, no one gets there overnight. It’s a gradual process that comes through consistently feeding on His Word and spending time in prayer.

Let’s not get carried away by the desire to be seen, to serve well, or even to represent God at the expense of our closeness with Him.

Don’t become so passionate about spreading the gospel that your secret place gathers dust.

Any sacrifice you offer to God must come from a place of true worship and you cannot worship Him rightly if He is not first in your life.

Seek God’s presence more than anything else.

Love God beyond His work.

Love God beyond your busy schedule.

Because at the end of it all, what is everything else worth if you lose His presence?

I heard a preacher say something that struck me so much.

He said,

"Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. Yes.

You cannot call God beautiful or any other attribute if you haven't beheld Him."

I couldn't agree any less.

It brought me to a point that I'll share briefly.

You see, in the Old Testament (Numbers 21:4–9), a time came when, due to the rebellion of the Israelites, God sent serpents to bite them. But in His mercy, He brought a remedy: looking up to the bronze serpent on the pole... beholding it.

Let's say, for us-the saved ones-that bronze serpent could represent Jesus, and the bitten Israelites could be us-bitten, pushed, buffeted by the winds of life.

The remedy to anything at all you're going through in life is to see Jesus.

Are you confused about anything? See Jesus.

Do you need help and help isn't forthcoming? Find Jesus.

Are you struggling with sin and addictions? See Jesus.

Seeing Jesus simply means shifting your gaze from the supposed challenges and looking up (not literally though), but looking away from the struggles and focusing your spirit, mind and body on Jesus.

Jesus is the way, Jesus is the truth, and Jesus is the life.

Jesus is the author and finisher of our faith. This means that He knows the end, even from the beginning.

Why not just entrust your life into His care and watch Him make meaning out of something you've already written off?

See Jesus.

Look away from those challenges and see Jesus in them.

He cares for you.

The urge to let people know what we’re going through for Jesus’ sake - not for counsel, not for fellowship, but for recognition.

The urge for men’s validation-even at the detriment of God’s instruction to us.

The urge to be seen doing good works so that we can be praised. I could go on...

Now, we’re not wrong for feeling that way. We’re human. The problem begins when you see no reason to resist it.

The essence of our works in Christ is to point men back to God-not to seek personal applause or validation.

Yes, people may appreciate and celebrate us, but the end goal remains this: That men will see our good works and glorify our Father in heaven. (Matthew 5:16)

When the pursuit of men’s appraisal and personal glory becomes the driving force, it pollutes what was meant to be worship.

This is why, as we move forward in our service to God, we must constantly pause and examine our hearts—to be sure we are still aligned.

We are human, and the desire for praise can quietly creep in. But our prayer should always be: “Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.” — Psalm 19:14

May our lives be mirrors that reflect Him-not stages that magnify us.

You know, last week really opened my eyes to something.

The number of times I said, “God help me” and “God, I’m so tired”… it shocked me.

Not because I was saying it too much, but because at so many points, I genuinely didn’t have the words to explain how I felt.

And that made me realize something:

When we come to God, it’s not about having the most eloquent speech. It’s not about sounding deep or put together. God isn’t looking for perfection—He just wants you.

But what happens when you can’t even express how you really feel?

What if all you have is, “Help me”?

That’s enough.

That is the lesson.

Sometimes, we come into God’s presence thinking we need to package our prayers, arrange our words, sound spiritual… but in doing that, we miss the very thing we came for - REAL CONNECTION!

There are moments when all you’ll have is: “I can’t pray.” “I’m tired.” “Help me.”

And heaven hears it clearly.

We’re not dealing with a God who don’t understand. He already knows how you feel—but for the sake of relationship, He wants you to come as you are.

Even tears can speak. Silence can speak. Weakness can speak.

So don’t come to God trying to be perfect.

Come vulnerable. Come real. Come honest.

You can be strong for the world, but you don’t have to be strong with God.

If you’re tired, say it. If you’re overwhelmed, say it. If all you can do is cry—cry.

Just make sure your heart is saying, “I need You”.

Because you really do.

Hey there, Jesus loves you.

I know you may feel like you’re not deserving of His love because of how much you think you’ve sinned.

You might believe that God is too holy to love a sinner like you.

But what if I told you that He is so holy that He wants you - and desires to cleanse you and make you more like Him?

God wants you. Yes, you.

You’ve heard it countless times, but let this be your confirmation: now is the time to accept His love.

And to the believer who is still caught up in secret sin while publicly proclaiming Jesus - please come back and repent. It’s not too late.

I know the ache you feel when you participate in spiritual activities and your heart feels convicted. That’s the Holy Spirit reminding you that you are still needed and that He wants to help you.

Please repent and come to Jesus.

You cannot overcome sin by your own strength.

Submit to Jesus.

Accept His love.

Understand that grace is not a license to continue in sin, but the power to live above it.

“But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” — Romans 5:8

God loved you even when you gave Him no reason to.

He loves you the same way right now, even when you don’t think He should.

He’s knocking at the door of your heart. Tomorrow might be too late.

NOW is the time.

• How? • When? • Where? • With whom?

Being saved comes with a lot of enthusiasm and zeal—the feeling of wanting to do every single thing God says to do. Oh, that beautiful flex of hearing God and immediately moving to act with the speed of light.

I know that feeling. I've felt that way, and I've come to realize a few things that I want to share with you.

God is never in a hurry, and He doesn't expect us to be either. When His instructions come, He doesn't stop at the instruction alone. He expects that the same way you stayed at His feet to hear the instruction, you will also stay there to receive the blueprint.

It's so sad that many Christians feel comfortable with only a word from God, forgetting that you can't effectively carry out God's word without Him.

The next time God gives you a word or a command, He expects you to ask Him the “when,” “how,” “where,” and “with whom” questions. It fosters the relationship even more and gives you a clearer picture of what He wants you to do.

The “when” question is important because God could show you something that will not necessarily happen now. God's timing and ours are almost entirely different, and when He tells you something, He requires your patience and a sincere walk with Him for its fulfillment.

I've also discovered that sometimes He only shows us the end of the tunnel without necessarily showing us the darkness, the beautiful paths, or the lonely ones in between. It is as you stay with Him that certain things begin to unfold.

The “how” question is also necessary because He alone is the Master Builder and Executor. He might not give you a detailed blueprint at once because He wants you to keep coming back to His feet for the remaining parts.

The “where” question matters because your allocation is often tied to where you are located, and you cannot effectively carry out God's will in a place He does not want you to be.

The “with whom” question is also vital because, as much as you need people in your journey, you do not need every kind of person. God will strategically place destiny associates who will help you along the journey because, of course, you are not an island and cannot walk through life or destiny alone.

Many times, we are in a hurry to live out God's word. But within His instructions are pathways He may not talk about; He will simply lead you through them.

In a nutshell, beyond knowing God at the surface level or simply knowing His instructions, seek a deeper walk with Him.

He might not speak every day—are you willing to stay? You might be living through seasons where what is happening doesn't seem to align with what He said—will you still stay?

God can be known—not just His words, but His attributes too. You will find Him when you seek Him with all your heart.

Seek God. There is space for you in God.
