For Sarah conceived, and bare Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him.&#8221;</p></blockquote><p>There is a powerful expression here:</p><p><strong>&#8220;At the set time.&#8221;</strong></p><p>Abraham was one hundred years old. Sarah had reached an age when naturally having a child appeared impossible. Yet human impossibility did not cancel God&#8217;s promise.</p><p>Maybe you think too much time has passed.</p><p>But God&#8217;s clock is not running late.</p><p><strong>A delayed promise is not necessarily a denied promise.</strong></p><p>Keep believing.</p><p><strong>Prayer:</strong> Lord, teach me to trust not only Your promises but also Your timing. Y Sara concibi&#243; y dio a Abraham un hijo en su vejez, en el tiempo que Dios le hab&#237;a dicho.&#187;</p></blockquote><p>Hay una expresi&#243;n poderosa aqu&#237;:</p><p><strong>&#8220;En el tiempo que Dios le hab&#237;a dicho.&#8221;</strong></p><p>Abraham ten&#237;a cien a&#241;os. Sara hab&#237;a llegado a una edad en la que naturalmente parec&#237;a imposible tener un hijo. Sin embargo, la imposibilidad humana no cancel&#243; la promesa divina. La predicaci&#243;n enfatiza precisamente que Dios cumpli&#243; <strong>en el momento se&#241;alado</strong>.</p><p>Tal vez piensas que ha pasado demasiado tiempo.</p><p>Pero el reloj de Dios no est&#225; atrasado.</p><p><strong>Una promesa que tarda no necesariamente es una promesa negada.</strong></p><p>Sigue creyendo.</p><p><strong>Oraci&#243;n:</strong> Se&#241;or, ens&#233;&#241;ame a confiar no solamente en Tus promesas, sino tambi&#233;n en Tu tiempo. Intentaron producir humanamente aquello que Dios hab&#237;a prometido hacer divinamente. La predicaci&#243;n utiliza su historia precisamente para mostrar el peligro de intentar resolver por nuestra cuenta aquello para lo cual Dios ya tiene una soluci&#243;n.</p><p>&#191;Cu&#225;ntas veces hacemos lo mismo?</p><p>Dios promete, pero nosotros nos desesperamos.</p><p>Dios dice espera, pero nosotros corremos.</p><p>Dios tiene un Isaac preparado, pero nuestra impaciencia intenta producir un Ismael.</p><p>Hay cosas que no necesitan que t&#250; las fuerces. They tried to accomplish humanly what God had promised to accomplish divinely.</p><p>How often do we do the same?</p><p>God promises, but we become desperate.</p><p>God says wait, but we run ahead.</p><p>God has an Isaac prepared, but our impatience tries to produce an Ishmael.</p><p>Some things do not need to be forced. They require you to <strong>trust</strong>.</p><p><strong>Don&#8217;t let your impatience produce something God never asked you to create.</strong></p><p><strong>Prayer:</strong> Lord, give me patience to wait for Your timing. Keep me from running ahead of You and teach me to trust Your promise. Tenemos luchas, pero tambi&#233;n tenemos testimonios. Hay oraciones que todav&#237;a esperamos ver contestadas, pero tambi&#233;n hay muchas otras que Dios ya contest&#243;.</p><p>La perspectiva correcta no niega los problemas; simplemente <strong>se niega a permitir que los problemas sean m&#225;s grandes que Dios</strong>.</p><p>Si hoy tienes una raz&#243;n para agradecer, &#250;sala para recordar la fidelidad de Dios.</p><p><strong>No permitas que una dificultad temporal esconda las bendiciones permanentes que tienes en Cristo.</strong></p><p><strong>Oraci&#243;n:</strong> Se&#241;or, abre mis ojos para reconocer Tus bendiciones. We have struggles, but we also have testimonies. There are prayers we are still waiting to see answered, but there are many others God has already answered.</p><p>The right perspective does not deny our problems; it simply <strong>refuses to allow our problems to become bigger than God</strong>.</p><p>If you have one reason to be thankful today, use it to remember God&#8217;s faithfulness.</p><p><strong>Don&#8217;t allow a temporary difficulty to hide the permanent blessings you have in Christ.</strong></p><p><strong>Prayer:</strong> Lord, open my eyes to recognize Your blessings. Never let my problems cause me to forget Your faithfulness. Queremos respuestas, explicaciones y se&#241;ales que confirmen que vamos en la direcci&#243;n correcta.</p><p>Pero la fe no siempre recibe primero una explicaci&#243;n.</p><p>A veces Dios simplemente nos pide que confiemos.</p><p>Lo que para nosotros parece una demora, para Dios puede ser preparaci&#243;n. Lo que parece una puerta cerrada puede ser protecci&#243;n. Y aquello que hoy no tiene sentido puede formar parte de algo que todav&#237;a no podemos ver.</p><p><strong>No necesitas entender todos los caminos de Dios para confiar en el coraz&#243;n de Dios.</strong></p><p><strong>Oraci&#243;n:</strong> Se&#241;or, cuando no entienda lo que est&#225;s haciendo, ay&#250;dame a confiar en que Tus caminos son m&#225;s altos que los m&#237;os. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.&#8221;</p></blockquote><p>There are moments when we want to understand everything God is doing before we trust Him. We want answers, explanations, and signs confirming that we are going in the right direction.</p><p>But faith does not always receive an explanation first.</p><p>Sometimes God simply asks us to trust.</p><p>What looks like a delay to us may be preparation to God. What looks like a closed door may actually be protection. And what makes no sense today may be part of something we cannot yet see.</p><p><strong>You do not have to understand all of God&#8217;s ways to trust God&#8217;s heart.</strong></p><p><strong>Prayer:</strong> Lord, when I don&#8217;t understand what You are doing, help me trust that Your ways are higher than mine. Regoc&#237;jense y al&#233;grense, porque la recompensa de ustedes en los cielos es grande&#8230;&#8221;</p></blockquote><p>Despu&#233;s de siete d&#237;as llegamos a la gran pregunta:</p><p><strong>&#191;Qui&#233;n tiene autoridad para decidir si eres feliz?</strong></p><p>Si tu felicidad depende del dinero, cuando falte dinero perder&#225;s tu felicidad.</p><p>Si depende de una persona, cuando esa persona se vaya puede llevarse tu felicidad.</p><p>Si depende del reconocimiento, vivir&#225;s intentando satisfacer las expectativas de los dem&#225;s.</p><p>Pero Jes&#250;s presenta otra manera de vivir.</p><p>Ser bienaventurado significa que <strong>mi fuente est&#225; en Dios</strong>.</p><p>Puedo llorar y todav&#237;a tener esperanza.</p><p>Puedo atravesar un desierto y continuar creyendo.</p><p>Puedo ser rechazado y continuar sabiendo qui&#233;n soy.</p><p>Puedo enfrentar una batalla y conservar mi paz.</p><p>Por eso tu ense&#241;anza termina con esta poderosa declaraci&#243;n:</p><p><strong>&#8220;Tu felicidad no est&#225; determinada por lo que est&#225; pasando a tu alrededor, sino por Aquel que est&#225; reinando dentro de ti.&#8221;</strong></p><p>Entonces...</p><p>Si abajo est&#225; la tentaci&#243;n, <strong>SUBE AL MONTE</strong>.</p><p>Si abajo est&#225; la frustraci&#243;n, <strong>SUBE AL MONTE</strong>.</p><p>Si abajo est&#225; el rechazo, <strong>SUBE AL MONTE</strong>.</p><p>Si abajo est&#225;n las voces que quieren definir qui&#233;n eres, <strong>SUBE AL MONTE</strong>.</p><p>Sube en oraci&#243;n.</p><p>Sube en la Palabra.</p><p>Sube en adoraci&#243;n.</p><p>Sube a Su presencia.</p><p>Porque cuando Dios se convierte en tu fuente, las circunstancias dejan de tener autoridad para decidir qui&#233;n eres.</p><p><strong>Reflexiona:</strong> Si ma&#241;ana desapareciera aquello en lo que he estado depositando mi felicidad, &#191;seguir&#237;a teniendo gozo porque todav&#237;a tengo a Dios?</p><p><strong>Oraci&#243;n:</strong> Padre, hoy declaro que mi fuente eres T&#250;. Mi felicidad no estar&#225; gobernada por lo que tengo, por lo que pierdo ni por lo que otros piensan de m&#237;. Ens&#233;&#241;ame a vivir desde Tu presencia. Cuando lo natural quiera dominar mi coraz&#243;n, recu&#233;rdame que debo subir al monte. Que lo espiritual gobierne sobre lo natural y que mi coraz&#243;n pueda declarar: soy bienaventurado porque todav&#237;a tengo a Dios. Rejoice and be glad, for your reward in heaven is great&#8230;&#8221;</p></blockquote><p>After seven days, we arrive at the great question:</p><p><strong>Who has the authority to decide whether you have joy?</strong></p><p>If your happiness depends on money, when money disappears, your happiness will disappear with it.</p><p>If it depends on another person, that person can take your happiness when they leave.</p><p>If it depends on recognition, you will spend your life trying to satisfy people&#8217;s expectations.</p><p>But Jesus presents another way to live.</p><p>To be blessed means <strong>my source is in God.</strong></p><p>I can cry and still have hope.</p><p>I can walk through a wilderness and continue believing.</p><p>I can experience rejection and still know who I am.</p><p>I can face a battle and retain my peace.</p><p>So...</p><p>When temptation is below you, <strong>GO UP THE MOUNTAIN.</strong></p><p>When frustration is below you, <strong>GO UP THE MOUNTAIN.</strong></p><p>When rejection is below you, <strong>GO UP THE MOUNTAIN.</strong></p><p>When voices are trying to define who you are, <strong>GO UP THE MOUNTAIN.</strong></p><p>Go higher in prayer.</p><p>Go higher in the Word.</p><p>Go higher in worship.</p><p>Go higher into His presence.</p><p>Because when God becomes your source, circumstances lose their authority to determine who you are.</p><p><strong>Reflect:</strong> If tomorrow I lost something I have been depending on for happiness, would I still have joy because I still have God?</p><p><strong>Prayer:</strong> Father, today I declare that You are my source. My joy will not be governed by what I have, what I lose, or what others think about me. Teach me to live from Your presence. When the natural tries to dominate my heart, remind me to go up the mountain. Let the spiritual rule over the natural, and let my heart declare: I am blessed because I still have God. Regoc&#237;jense y al&#233;grense, porque la recompensa de ustedes en los cielos es grande&#8230;&#8221;</p></blockquote><p>Hay momentos en los que <strong>hacer lo correcto cuesta</strong>.</p><p>Jes&#250;s nunca prometi&#243; que obedecerlo producir&#237;a autom&#225;ticamente la aprobaci&#243;n de todos.</p><p>Algunas personas no comprender&#225;n tus decisiones.</p><p>Otras pueden criticarte precisamente porque decidiste permanecer firme.</p><p>Pero Jes&#250;s nos ense&#241;a algo extraordinario: <strong>la opini&#243;n de las personas no tiene autoridad para cancelar lo que Dios ha declarado sobre tu vida</strong>.</p><p>Puedes perder aprobaci&#243;n humana sin perder aprobaci&#243;n divina.</p><p>Por eso una de las declaraciones centrales de <em>Sube al Monte</em> es:</p><p><strong>&#8220;El rechazo de la tierra no cancela la recompensa del cielo.&#8221;</strong></p><p>No comprometas tus convicciones solamente para pertenecer.</p><p>No abandones lo que Dios te ense&#241;&#243; porque alguien no lo comprenda.</p><p>La fidelidad puede tener un precio en la tierra, pero Jes&#250;s dice que existe <strong>una recompensa en el cielo</strong>.</p><p><strong>Reflexiona:</strong> &#191;Existe alg&#250;n &#225;rea donde estoy comprometiendo mis convicciones porque temo el rechazo de otras personas?</p><p><strong>Oraci&#243;n:</strong> Padre, l&#237;brame de vivir esclavo de la opini&#243;n de los dem&#225;s. Others may criticize you precisely because you chose to remain faithful.</p><p>But people&#8217;s opinions do not have the authority to cancel what God has declared over your life.</p><p>You can lose human approval without losing God&#8217;s approval.</p><p><strong>Earthly rejection does not cancel heaven&#8217;s reward.</strong></p><p>Don&#8217;t compromise your convictions simply to belong.</p><p><strong>Reflect:</strong> Is there an area where I am compromising my convictions because I fear someone&#8217;s rejection?</p><p><strong>Prayer:</strong> Father, free me from living as a prisoner of people&#8217;s opinions. Give me the character to remain faithful when obedience has a price. May Your approval become more important to me than human recognition. Remove resentment, pride, unforgiveness, and anything affecting my spiritual vision. Give me a pure heart so I can recognize You working even in places where I once saw only problems. He is teaching that <strong>your present circumstances do not have the authority to determine your position before God.</strong></p><p>You can cry and still have hope.</p><p>You can experience loss and still have God.</p><p>Your tears describe your present moment.</p><p><strong>They do not determine your destination.</strong></p><p>And Jesus gives a promise: <strong>they shall be comforted.</strong></p><p>God has not overlooked your tears.</p><p><strong>Reflect:</strong> Have I interpreted my pain as evidence that God has abandoned me?</p><p><strong>Prayer:</strong> Lord, today I place before You whatever is causing my tears. I will not hide my pain, but neither will I allow my pain to define who You are to me. Comfort my heart and remind me that this season does not determine my destination. Est&#225; ense&#241;ando que <strong>tu circunstancia presente no tiene autoridad para determinar tu posici&#243;n delante de Dios</strong>.</p><p>Puedes llorar y todav&#237;a tener esperanza.</p><p>Puedes estar atravesando una p&#233;rdida y continuar teniendo a Dios.</p><p>Puedes acostarte con l&#225;grimas y levantarte sabiendo que el Se&#241;or sigue contigo.</p><p>Ser bienaventurado no significa que todo est&#233; bien a nuestro alrededor. Significa que <strong>aunque no todo est&#233; bien, nosotros podemos estar bien en Dios</strong>.</p><p>Tus l&#225;grimas describen tu momento.</p><p><strong>No determinan tu destino.</strong></p><p>Y Jes&#250;s a&#241;ade una promesa: <strong>ser&#225;n consolados</strong>.</p><p>Tu llanto no ser&#225; ignorado por Dios.</p><p><strong>Reflexiona:</strong> &#191;He interpretado mi dolor como evidencia de que Dios me abandon&#243;?</p><p><strong>Oraci&#243;n:</strong> Se&#241;or, hoy pongo delante de Ti aquello que me hace llorar. For it is written, &#8220;You shall worship the Lord your God, and serve Him only.&#8221;&#8217;&#8221;</p></blockquote><p>There is a fascinating detail in this story: <strong>Satan also took Jesus to a mountain.</strong></p><p>He showed Jesus glory, power, and kingdoms.</p><p>It was an invitation to rise&#8212;but through the wrong path.</p><p>That means <strong>not every opportunity to go higher comes from God.</strong></p><p>Some heights feed the ego; others strengthen the spirit. Some doors look like promotion but require us to compromise our principles.</p><p>Before asking, <strong>&#8220;How high can I go?&#8221;</strong>, learn to ask:</p><p><strong>&#8220;Who is leading me there?&#8221;</strong></p><p><strong>Reflect:</strong> Do I desire God&#8217;s glory, or am I primarily seeking recognition for myself?</p><p><strong>Prayer:</strong> Lord, give me discernment. Don&#8217;t let me confuse promotion with purpose. I would rather remain where You are than rise to a place where Your presence is not leading me. Guard my heart from pride and teach me to live for Your glory. Entonces Jes&#250;s le dijo: &#171;&#161;Vete, Satan&#225;s! Porque escrito est&#225;: &#8220;Al Se&#241;or tu Dios adorar&#225;s, y a &#201;l solo servir&#225;s&#8221;&#187;.&#8221;</p></blockquote><p>Hay un detalle fascinante: <strong>Satan&#225;s tambi&#233;n llev&#243; a Jes&#250;s a un monte.</strong></p><p>Le mostr&#243; gloria, poder y reinos.</p><p>Era una propuesta para subir, pero por el camino equivocado.</p><p>Esto significa que <strong>no toda oportunidad para subir viene de Dios</strong>.</p><p>Hay alturas que alimentan el ego y alturas que fortalecen el esp&#237;ritu. Hay puertas que parecen promoci&#243;n, pero requieren comprometer nuestros principios.</p><p>El enemigo dec&#237;a: &#8220;Mira todo lo que puedes tener&#8221;.</p><p>Jes&#250;s respondi&#243;, en esencia: <strong>nada de eso vale mi adoraci&#243;n</strong>.</p><p>M&#225;s adelante Jes&#250;s subir&#225; a otro monte. Pero esta vez no ser&#225; para recibir fama, sino para ense&#241;ar a Sus disc&#237;pulos c&#243;mo vivir.</p><p>En <em>Sube al Monte</em> estableces precisamente este contraste: el enemigo presenta una idea equivocada de estar &#8220;arriba&#8221;, mientras Jes&#250;s lleva a sus disc&#237;pulos al monte para ense&#241;arles otra manera de vivir.</p><p>Antes de preguntarte <strong>&#8220;&#191;Hasta d&#243;nde puedo llegar?&#8221;</strong>, aprende a preguntar:</p><p><strong>&#8220;&#191;Qui&#233;n me est&#225; llevando all&#237;?&#8221;</strong></p><p><strong>Reflexiona:</strong> &#191;Deseo que Dios sea glorificado o estoy buscando principalmente reconocimiento para m&#237;?</p><p><strong>Oraci&#243;n:</strong> Se&#241;or, dame discernimiento. No permitas que confunda promoci&#243;n con prop&#243;sito. Prefiero permanecer donde T&#250; est&#225;s antes que subir a un lugar donde Tu presencia no me acompa&#241;e. Guarda mi coraz&#243;n del orgullo y ens&#233;&#241;ame a vivir solamente para Tu gloria. Y despu&#233;s de haber ayunado cuarenta d&#237;as y cuarenta noches, entonces tuvo hambre. Y acerc&#225;ndose el tentador, le dijo: &#171;Si eres Hijo de Dios, di que estas piedras se conviertan en pan&#187;. Pero Jes&#250;s le respondi&#243;: &#171;Escrito est&#225;: &#8220;No solo de pan vivir&#225; el hombre, sino de toda palabra que sale de la boca de Dios&#8221;&#187;.&#8221;</p></blockquote><p>Antes del Serm&#243;n del Monte hubo <strong>un desierto</strong>.</p><p>Antes de ense&#241;ar acerca de la verdadera felicidad, Jes&#250;s atraves&#243; hambre, soledad y tentaci&#243;n. Esa conexi&#243;n ocupa un lugar importante en <em>Sube al Monte</em>: el desierto nos lleva a reconocer nuevamente aquello que verdaderamente tiene valor.</p><p>Hay cosas que solamente entendemos cuando atravesamos temporadas dif&#237;ciles.</p><p>En el desierto descubrimos que muchas cosas que consider&#225;bamos indispensables realmente no lo eran. Volvemos a valorar la familia, un abrazo, la paz, la presencia de Dios y hasta las cosas sencillas.</p><p>Pero tambi&#233;n all&#237; llega la tentaci&#243;n.</p><p>Satan&#225;s intent&#243; utilizar una necesidad leg&#237;tima de Jes&#250;s &#8212;el hambre&#8212; para llevarlo a actuar fuera de la voluntad de Dios.</p><p>El hambre era real.</p><p><strong>Pero el hambre no pod&#237;a convertirse en su se&#241;or.</strong></p><p>T&#250; tambi&#233;n tendr&#225;s necesidades reales. La pregunta es si esas necesidades determinar&#225;n tus decisiones.</p><p>No desperdicies tu desierto. Permite que Dios utilice esta temporada para mostrarte qu&#233; es temporal y qu&#233; es eterno.</p><p><strong>Reflexiona:</strong> &#191;Qu&#233; me est&#225; ense&#241;ando mi desierto acerca de las cosas que verdaderamente tienen valor?</p><p><strong>Oraci&#243;n:</strong> Padre, no permitas que desperdicie mi desierto. Ens&#233;&#241;ame a reconocer Tu voz aun en las temporadas dif&#237;ciles. Que mis necesidades nunca gobiernen mis decisiones por encima de Tu Palabra. Hazme salir de esta temporada m&#225;s fuerte y m&#225;s cerca de Ti. And after He had fasted forty days and forty nights, He then became hungry. And the tempter came and said to Him, &#8216;If You are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread.&#8217; But He answered and said, &#8216;It is written, &#8220;Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.&#8221;&#8217;&#8221;</p></blockquote><p>Before the Sermon on the Mount, there was <strong>a wilderness</strong>.</p><p>Before teaching about true happiness, Jesus experienced hunger, isolation, and temptation.</p><p>Some lessons are understood differently after we have walked through difficult seasons.</p><p>The wilderness exposes what truly matters.</p><p>But temptation also comes in the wilderness. Satan tried to use a legitimate need&#8212;Jesus&#8217; hunger&#8212;to influence His actions.</p><p>The hunger was real.</p><p><strong>But hunger could not become His master.</strong></p><p>You will also experience legitimate needs. The question is whether those needs will determine your decisions.</p><p>Don&#8217;t waste your wilderness. Allow God to show you what is temporary and what is eternal.</p><p><strong>Reflect:</strong> What is my wilderness teaching me about what truly matters?</p><p><strong>Prayer:</strong> Father, don&#8217;t let me waste my wilderness. Teach me to recognize Your voice even during difficult seasons. Never allow my needs to rule my decisions above Your Word. Bring me out of this season stronger and closer to You.
