New here? This is Rodney, he’s always late but every excuse sounds a lot like song lyrics because they are song lyrics. His limitless supply of late for work excuses/songs only work on Mr. Backwax who’s either never heard or doesn’t recognize song lyrics when they’re being spoken -not sung. When I first fell in love with my wife we’d get off work and sit in the courtyard with cocktails between two pre-civil war buildings in downtown Rome, Georgia. It was long and narrow with a black wrought iron fence above a garden planter that let you get a glimpse of passers by. And them glimpsing right back at you wondering why we had THE CURE turned up to eleven? Oh yeah, “8 months” is exactly how long it’s been since I lost her. It’s not getting any easier. -ML
